Brother Nathanael - 10-28-2014 - Why Judaism Is Bankrupt Aired: 2020-05-24 Duration: 03:29 === Jews Lost Their Priesthood (03:27) === [00:00:01] I grew up as a Jew and always knew that Judaism was bankrupt. [00:00:06] So whenever I see Gentile leaders with Hanukkah menorahs, I have to laugh. [00:00:11] You see, Judaism is for Jews only, unless you're groveling for the Jewish vote. [00:00:18] Gentiles should be glad they're not wanted. [00:00:21] Judaism has nothing to offer. [00:00:24] First of all, Jews lost their kingship. [00:00:28] The Old Testament predicted King David's line would stop once the Messiah came. [00:00:34] Well, he came. Jesus Christ is proclaimed the son of David, but the Jews crucified their king. [00:00:41] Second, Jews lost the priesthood. [00:00:44] Once the Second Temple was destroyed in 70 AD, the genealogies were also destroyed. [00:00:51] No Jew can prove he's from the tribe of Levi. [00:00:54] With no priesthood, there can be no temple. [00:00:58] That makes the rebuilding of the temple a sham. [00:01:02] The prophets Isaiah and Malachi announced that God would replace Levites with Gentiles. [00:01:09] Thus the church's priesthood, an office lost by Judaism, has the sacramental power to impart divine life, beginning with baptism and Holy Communion. [00:01:20] But Judaism's mikveh, wine and bread, is nothing more than tap water, vinegar and yeast. [00:01:28] Third, Jews have no prophets. [00:01:31] No prophet has arisen in Judaism once Christ came. [00:01:35] The rabbis claim the mantle of prophecy passed to them. [00:01:39] Yet the Talmud has only bred a babble of rabbis who bicker with each other. [00:01:44] But the Church, the true Israel of God, is rich with prophets who tell us the future and how to prepare for it. [00:01:52] Not only is Judaism bankrupt, it's a religion of death. [00:01:57] As a child, I envy the Gentiles who celebrated the resurrection of Christ every Easter. [00:02:03] We only had Matzah and Moses, which freed us from slavery, so we could become slaves to money as doctors and lawyers. [00:02:12] But Matzah and Moses couldn't free us from death. [00:02:16] Only Jesus Christ could. [00:02:19] Judaism has no such Messiah who rose from the dead like Jesus Christ. [00:02:23] They thought Menachem Schneerson was their Mashiach who would rise from the dead. [00:02:29] But after standing around his grave for a week, they left him for a corpse. [00:02:35] Mourning the death of the Lubavitcher Rabbi has been difficult for his followers because most of them believed he would never die. [00:02:41] They still believe Rabbi Menachem Schneerson will be physically resurrected as Mashiach, the Messiah. [00:02:48] There is no need for a successor. [00:02:50] Rabbi is his own successor. [00:02:52] There will be certain clouds, heavenly clouds. [00:02:56] That will carry everybody to Jerusalem. [00:03:00] So you don't have to put your house up for sale or anything? [00:03:02] It says that all my ownership, everything that I own, will come with me. [00:03:07] The rabbi is going to rise up in his grave and come back to life? [00:03:11] Absolutely. A physical resurrection when he's going to come back in his full glory, imminently. [00:03:16] Never happened. Like Schneerson, Judaism's a corpse. [00:03:20] With no messiah, no kingship, no priesthood, no prophets, Judaism has no hope for this world or the next.
