Brother Nathanael - Trump, The Media, & Your Guns Aired: 2018-05-01 Duration: 03:09 === Banning Bump Stocks: First Step? (03:08) === [00:00:01] Everywhere you look, the media trashes Trump. [00:00:05] They call him names, cite bizarre statements, and harp about his Russia collusion. [00:00:11] But why focus on sticks and stones, sudden firings, criminal investigations, and bizarre statements that have world leaders scratching their heads, when there's some real scores to settle? [00:00:23] Why does the media ignore Trump's criminal actions in Syria? [00:00:27] Well, that's good for Israel, and the Jewish-owned mainstream media has no beef about that. [00:00:35] There's about as much conflict of interest in the media as there is in Congress these days. [00:00:41] And what about the rider in Trump's tax plan that pushes through oil drilling in the Arctic? [00:00:47] Where is the outrage? [00:00:49] Hastily wrecking vast expanses in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge should be a huge cause for alarm. [00:00:57] These are genuine gripes against Trump, not his hair, and certainly not his alleged Russia collusion. [00:01:03] How about Trump's flip-flop on gun control? [00:01:08] Don't worry about bump stock. [00:01:09] We're getting rid of it. I mean, you don't have to complicate the bill by adding another two paragraphs. [00:01:14] We're getting rid of it. I'll do that myself. [00:01:17] With a little help from Dianne Feinstein, whose mission creep will strip the goys of all their guns. [00:01:24] Trump once blasted opponents of gun rights, like Feinstein, who used scary-sounding words like assault rifles and military-style weapons. [00:01:34] But lately, Trump tweeted, quote, We will ban all devices that turn legal weapons into illegal machine guns, unquote. [00:01:42] Looks like Trump's now using scary-sounding words himself. [00:01:47] Yet the only thing scarier is when Trump and Feinstein, who is the antithesis of Trump, actually agree, especially when it comes to disarming Americans. [00:01:57] So Senator Murphy and I and 46 Senate colleagues on a bipartisan basis have what we think is a start. [00:02:03] It's not the end-all be-all. [00:02:05] There's other things that people want to add to it. [00:02:08] You talked about the bump stock issue that Senator Feinstein I know cares passionately about. [00:02:13] And I'm going to write that out. [00:02:14] Because we can do that with an executive order. [00:02:17] America first or Feinstein first? [00:02:19] Banning bump stocks is only a first start, too. [00:02:23] Bump fire can actually be achieved without even using a bump stock. [00:02:27] So, what would Trump be banning? [00:02:30] Too many bullets? [00:02:32] Will he install a timer on every trigger, limiting how quickly a gun can be fired? [00:02:38] Criminals would love that one. [00:02:40] Will Trump ban the physics of a gun? [00:02:43] We'll have to ban all guns for that, and that's exactly what Feinstein and Tribe want. [00:02:49] The downshot is that banning bump stock sets a broad and dangerous precedent that could be used to eradicate the Second Amendment completely. [00:02:58] Mission creep is the bullet in Trump and Feinstein's anti-gun push. [00:03:03] The media only pretends to hate Trump. [00:03:06] Why else do they sweep real grievances under the rug?
