[00:01:54]  I wouldn't say Iran is one of them, to be honest with you, because we have Iran very much under control.
[00:01:59]  We're either going to make a deal or they're going to be decimated.
[00:02:02]  No, one way or the other, we win.
[00:02:05]  But we're going to be talking about, we're going to be talking with President Xi about a lot of different things.

[00:02:54]  Although Iran will come up, he plans to have a long talk with Xi about it.
[00:02:58]  But he says that he does not need China's help when it comes to Iran, noting that China is the one that has a lot to gain from the end of this conflict.

[00:03:30]  They currently have a 10% tariff on them.

[00:03:36]  Artificial intelligence will come up.
[00:03:38]  Rare earth minerals for chips.
[00:03:40]  Taiwan will come up.
[00:03:42]  It is the largest chip maker in the world.
[00:03:44]  And talking about chips, Bill.
[00:03:46]  NVIDIA's Jensen Wong jumped on aboard Air Force One in Alaska during the refueling.
[00:03:52]  Of course, NVIDIA's most advanced chips, those are used for training AI models.
[00:03:56]  They haven't been able to get those into the Chinese market just yet because of U.S. restrictions.
[00:04:00]  We'll see if that changes after these talks.
[00:04:03]  And the president, like I said, will be here with a lot of CEOs.

[00:10:30]  Then they frog marched them through New York City after flying them right over the Statue of Liberty, something you're not allowed to do unless you get federal permission from President Trump.

[00:23:02]  And then to have a state legislator turn on them like that guy did, you know, he went to this sort of Ivy League school.

[00:23:10]  About $95,000 a year.
[00:23:12]  Both his parents are professional.
[00:23:14]  He was a short haircut, nice young man, graduates from college.
[00:23:22]  Now he's got the fro going and then doing all that craziness at that graduation and dropping MFers.
[00:23:32]  And you see, that's what's being celebrated.
[00:23:34]  We really need some leaders in our inner city, and we're not getting that from these folks.
[00:23:40]  I always say they're going to cut themselves every time they deal one out of the race card.
[00:23:45]  Because that's exactly what they're doing.
[00:23:48]  And it'll never change, and they don't want it to change.
[00:23:50]  I have the same theory of leaders, supposed leaders overseas.
[00:23:55]  You know, as long as people are fighting and killing each other and, you know, black on white, white on black, whatever, you're going to have the same folks in power.

[00:24:05]  They don't want to, they love being in leadership, but they sure as heck don't want to leave any.
[00:24:10]  And that's what you're seeing with this guy and the rest of them.
[00:24:14]  And they're just a bunch of radicals.
[00:24:16]  And it's not your granddaddy's Democrat party anymore.
[00:24:20]  I can tell you that.
[00:24:22]  Should we just expect Democrats to stage an insurrection every time they don't get what they want?

[00:24:28]  But the problem is, we get used to it and we just kind of, it becomes the norm.
[00:24:33]  And these kids see that as the norm.
[00:24:36]  Wow, look at all the attention they're getting.
[00:24:38]  Everybody's cheering for them and all this.
[00:24:39]  And they're not getting anything done.
[00:24:43]  When I was in the legislature, you had a state senator from that area who didn't even live in his own district, you know, and it was a, Very confined little area that he represented, and they cut.
[00:24:57]  I believe it was in '92 or '93.
[00:24:59]  The Democrats actually put had 14 Republican seats and they combined them into seven, and that's how they kept power.
[00:25:08]  And they just continued to do that.
[00:25:10]  And now, you know, it's the state is so red, the Trump revolution kind of washed them all away.
[00:25:19]  And I think we'd be making a big mistake if we didn't capitalize on that.
[00:25:26]  There's something that still I can't quite figure out, which is how they thought this was going to go down.
[00:25:32]  They brought noisemakers.
[00:25:33]  I know we have the letter.

[00:25:42]  Some of our viewers, we haven't covered it yet in the show, may not have seen this.
[00:25:46]  It broke late last night.
[00:25:47]  The Speaker of the House in Tennessee has now stripped all Democrats effectively of power of their committees.
[00:25:55]  And taken away their ability to introduce legislation on these committees or serve on these committees because they staged a literal insurrection.
[00:26:02]  The letter goes through that how they blocked the well of the House.
[00:26:05]  They brought noisemakers, flash bang grenades, literal pyrotechnics.
[00:26:09]  They literally were lighting fires inside of the Tennessee State House.
[00:26:14]  And then they were harassing other members, blocking the aisles.
[00:26:18]  And so here is the letter from the Speaker of the House in Tennessee saying Democrats are going to be stripped of all power.
[00:26:23]  We're not going to allow this.
[00:26:25]  You're not going to be able to stage an insurrection because you didn't get your way.
[00:26:29]  And I love this move, Congressman.
[00:26:32]  Your take on this move?
[00:26:32]  I'm sure you know this guy, Cameron Sachs.
[00:26:35]  Yeah, I know Cameron well.
[00:26:36]  He grew up in my area.
[00:26:38]  He lives in Middleton, excuse me, up on the plateau.
[00:26:41]  That's the area he represents now.
[00:26:42]  I sat with him at Mayor Glenn Jacobs' final budget address in Knoxville this past week, Monday, actually.
[00:26:49]  Monday morning, sat right beside him.
[00:26:51]  And we talked a little bit about it.
[00:26:53]  But yeah, of course, you have to worry about making these folks martyrs.
[00:26:58]  But then again, you got to slap their hand when they.
[00:27:02]  When they reached too many times in the cookie jar, and this is what they've done.
[00:27:05]  They've literally broken the law.
[00:27:07]  And if it had been a private citizen doing any of this, they would, at the very least, they would have been arrested.
[00:27:15]  They would have been arrested.
[00:27:16]  You know, I spent 16 years in the legislature and we never saw anything like that.
[00:27:20]  And I can remember the speaker banging the gavel saying, Clear the galley.
[00:27:26]  And state troopers cleared it.
[00:27:28]  There wasn't any question.
[00:27:30]  And we, it happened maybe once or twice when I was there, but the, The way they acted in this was just foolish.
[00:27:39]  And again, where are the leaders in the black community saying this is not acceptable?
[00:27:45]  This type of behavior is not acceptable.
[00:27:49]  And they're not.
[00:27:50]  You're not going to hear it.
[00:27:51]  And that's why it's not going to change in those leadership positions.
[00:27:58]  Not only is it not acceptable, I actually think that it's probably harmful to their agenda.
[00:28:08]  So I'm kind of thankful for them to keep doing it.
[00:28:11]  Having Democrats stripped of all these committees, doesn't that just give Republicans more power?
[00:28:16]  You're just playing into our.
[00:28:18]  We got a super majority.
[00:28:20]  They are a small minority of.
[00:28:24]  Of the body, the Democrats are.
[00:28:26]  And because of this kind of activity, just drives it more and more in, and with moderates and other people.
[00:28:34]  And that's why you're seeing the numbers on our side, at least in the state of Tennessee, are going the Republican way.
[00:28:40]  And you got to realize, though, this is not, the courts have ruled that you cannot have a racially defined district.
[00:28:50]  And that's exactly what they're saying.
[00:28:52]  They're saying we're not having representation.
[00:28:55]  But then, As you stated, they're being represented by a white guy, Steve Cohen, who's been in that seat for, I guess, over a decade now.
[00:29:04]  So it's very ironic.
[00:29:05]  The whole thing is just, you know, and I see some washed up musician hollering about how awful it is and how we're losing our Nashville.
[00:29:17]  Look at your Nashville.
[00:29:19]  I mean, the taxes, the, you know, look at Memphis, same thing.
[00:29:25]  You know, they're just driving everybody out.
[00:29:27]  And that's what they do.
[00:29:28]  They drive everybody out and then expect the federal government to come in and save the day.
[00:29:32]  And those days were gone, I hope.
[00:29:35]  I certainly hope.
[00:29:36]  It seems like you got things sorted out in Tennessee and everybody's screaming about Nashville seceding and yelling about how nice life actually is in a red state.
[00:29:46]  You know, you're free to leave.
[00:29:48]  What's amazing to me is these people are free to go to LA or San Francisco or New York at any time.
[00:29:54]  Like you can go, you don't have to live in a clean, orderly, law and order.
[00:29:59]  Prosperous red state.
[00:30:00]  You don't have to live in Florida.
[00:30:02]  You don't have to live in Texas.
[00:30:03]  You don't have to live in Tennessee.
[00:30:05]  You can go.
[00:30:05]  Minneapolis is just a flight away, right?
[00:30:09]  That's why everybody, that's why when I go visit some areas of my district, I represent that they all have a northern accent and they've all left.
[00:30:18]  Because they said, look, we know how bad it is we're at, and we're warning you don't make it.
[00:30:24]  Don't Californiaize in our Tennessee.
[00:30:27]  And they are, Literally coming in droves.
[00:30:33]  I mean, it's just every day.
[00:30:35]  You can't get the price of real estate going up.
[00:30:39]  I mean, it's still incredibly reasonable compared to anywhere else in the country, but for us, it's kind of a jump.
[00:30:47]  So, zooming out to the rest of the country, in John Thune yesterday, made a lot of people angry with these comments here.
[00:30:56]  Thune saying, There's nothing more he can do to pass the Save Act.

[00:31:00]  We just don't have the votes, he says.
[00:31:04]  We had a very spirited debate and I made a speech, he says.
[00:31:08]  So I've done a lot to get the Save Act passed, says John Thune.
[00:31:14]  Are Republicans ever going to get tired of doing the same song and dance they've been doing for my entire life, which is we made a speech.
[00:31:24]  And so now that proves that we did all what we can?
[00:31:29]  I think my favorite is we're writing them a strong letter.
[00:31:31]  Yeah, that's right.
[00:31:33]  Yeah.
[00:31:33]  I'm so tired of this guy's Republican behavior.
[00:31:37]  Again, the reason we're where we're at is the Trump agenda.
[00:31:42]  It's not the congressional or the senatorial agenda.
[00:31:45]  And we've continuously fumbled all the way through this thing.
[00:31:50]  We might get another shot at it with this redistricting, but Thone is, I think he's way off the mark.
[00:32:00]  He needs to use that bully pulpit and exert a little pressure.
[00:32:04]  But I really don't, down deep, I don't think these people want to be.
[00:32:09]  They want, they like it when it's just status quo.
[00:32:13]  And again, a lot of Republicans in the House, I think they like, they want to be out on the golf course and let the Democrats.
[00:32:20]  Call them when it's time to come vote, and then they can come in again.
[00:32:25]  Uh, they like being in leadership, but they don't like leading, and that's exactly what you've got there.
[00:32:30]  You know, just you can't get anything out of the Senate.
[00:32:33]  The bill to defund the Taliban, four thousand, four million excuse me, 40 million dollars a week.
[00:32:38]  We're sending them, and um, I can't even get a budge out of the it's it's in the it's past the committee, but they won't schedule it for a floor vote.
[00:32:47]  It's just continuously that's all we're running into.
[00:32:51]  They have a lot of hearings, and eventually America's got to wake up and say enough is enough.
[00:32:56]  It's not enough to put Republicans in.
[00:32:59]  We got to put people that think like we do, that really do think America is that bright shining city on a hill, and that Washington, D.C. is supposed to be that, but you know what I mean?
[00:33:14]  But we've got to come together and we've got to figure this thing out because we are not doing it right now.
[00:33:19]  And we need to kick these folks out that are dragging us down.
[00:33:23]  Do you mean John Thune?
[00:33:25]  And do you mean John Cornyn?
[00:33:26]  What's your message to John Thune on this?
[00:33:28]  Because this really infuriated the base for him to say, We, you know, I made a speech and I wrote a strongly worded letter, and that's all I'm going to do to pass the Save Act, which, of course, all available polling and all available data analysis shows that the Save Act, if enacted, would actually flip a number of blue states red and would make red states even redder.
[00:33:48]  New Mexico, for instance, would flip red if only legal American citizens.
[00:33:54]  Voted something that's an 80 20 90 10 issue.
[00:33:58]  But John Thune says that he's he tried he wrote a really nice letter about it.
[00:34:02]  Yeah, I'm sure he did.
[00:34:03]  I'm sure he gave a great speech.
[00:34:04]  But the reality is, we need leaders, Benny.
[00:34:07]  We don't need talkers.
[00:34:08]  And right now, we got a bunch of talkers.
[00:34:10]  And when people just keep, you know, I've been on I've been in that fight before.
[00:34:14]  I helped kick out our last speaker of the house, it was one of six or seven of us.
[00:34:20]  I can't remember how many it was.
[00:34:22]  And it's a tough, it's a tough gig.
[00:34:25]  But if it needs to be done, it needs to be done.
[00:34:27]  And this is one of those issues that you really need to address one way or the other.
[00:34:32]  Put it on the floor, make them vote for it, find out who's against it and find out why.
[00:34:39]  And that's what leaders do.
[00:34:43]  I can't tell you how many times I've put a bill up knowing it's going to get, when I was in the legislature, knowing it's going to get beat, but I wanted to put people on record and I did.

[00:34:59]  They're not in the dead gum legislature.
[00:35:00]  I can tell you that.

[00:35:04]  I think that you're seeing a very different Republican Party, too, because of what happened in Indiana and because of what's happening right now with redistricting throughout the South.
[00:35:15]  I think you're seeing people that are willing to fight, but there are some Republican legislators that are leaving a blue seat here, a blue seat there.
[00:35:22]  What's your advice to Republican state legislatures that are redistricting right now?
[00:35:27]  You're going to get your hat handed to you when the Democrats get in control.
[00:35:30]  They're going to take every bit of your power and you're going to look over your shoulder and say, What in the world did we just do?
[00:35:37]  What did we just do?
[00:35:39]  And it's not a let's get them before they get us.
[00:35:43]  Let's just follow the dadgum law and do what we've been sitting here to do.
[00:35:49]  Quit worrying about hurting somebody's feelings.
[00:35:55]  Will any feelings get hurt when President Trump releases the 46 UFO videos?
[00:36:03]  You've been banging this drum for a while, Congressman.
[00:36:05]  I hope so, brother.
[00:36:06]  I hope they hurt a lot of feelings.
[00:36:08]  But what you're seeing right now is Trump's kept his word, but you've got some very bad people that work within some of these departments for whatever reason are blocking a lot of it.
[00:36:17]  And they're stopping it or stonewalling it.
[00:36:20]  And things are moving around and they can't find things and it just goes down the list.
[00:36:26]  But Trump's top people are working on it.
[00:36:28]  And I've talked to them and I know exactly what they're experiencing.
[00:36:31]  I mean, they've been hiding this stuff since at least 1947.
[00:36:36]  They're not going to turn it loose that easy.
[00:36:41]  And what will we have Jeremy Corbell on yesterday and he was talking through what may, you know, what could be.
[00:36:52]  The result of the release of all of the information, um, what do you think?
[00:36:58]  First off, do you think it's going to happen?
[00:36:59]  And then, what do you think the American reaction will be from the public?
[00:37:03]  I think Trump's and his people are going to give it every effort, going to continue to the last day they're in office.
[00:37:11]  And I think it will, um, I think we'll get most of it.
[00:37:14]  I don't think we'll get all of it just because the nature of it, but I, because again, it's deep states, like I told Trump, I mean, it's.
[00:37:25]  You hire the top two or three level people, but it's those ones underneath that are lifers that are just owned and compromised and they have no willpower to do what's right.
[00:37:42]  Final question for you, Congressman What's your take on Annapolina Luna potentially running for RNC chair?
[00:37:50]  She announced yesterday that she's interested in doing that.
[00:37:53]  Would you support that?
[00:37:54]  I talk to Luna all the time.
[00:37:56]  I talked to her yesterday.
[00:37:57]  She'd be a great.
[00:37:58]  She'd be great at that if she chose to do that.
[00:38:01]  She could, she would change it.
[00:38:03]  She's a messaging goddess.
[00:38:05]  I mean, she knows how to do it and she's smart.
[00:38:10]  Don't underestimate her.
[00:38:11]  You know, she's one of those that ran for office first time and got beat and came back and won.
[00:38:20]  And she is a fighter and she's well versed and she gets the game and, you know, she does it for all the right reasons.
[00:38:30]  She's got a wonderful husband, a beautiful little baby boy, Henry, and that's what she does it for.
[00:38:35]  She does the future of this country.
[00:38:37]  And we have people like that, we're going to be in good shape.
[00:38:41]  But these charlatans that we've kind of in the past will put somebody in and then we'll put a good one in and then a not so good one in.
[00:38:50]  You know, we need to represent this group or that group or whatever.
[00:38:54]  This thought process, you know, that gets us smoked every dadgum time.

[00:39:01]  I would love it.
[00:39:03]  I think the Democrats would laugh about it out publicly, but behind the scenes, there would be much gnashing of teeth.
[00:39:10]  I would say that at the end of a lot of pain over that because she knows the young people and she knows how to get the word out and what they're talking about and the future of our country and our party and bring young conservatives to the table.

[00:39:28]  They don't just need to be out putting up yard signs.

[00:39:34]  She and I both came up with Charlie at the exact same time at Turning Point USA close to 10 years ago.
[00:39:40]  And it was a man, it was because it was quite a class right there and doing our best to carry forward that legacy.

[00:43:14]  And what do you think's changed since the Biden era?
[00:43:19]  Well, Trump's going in with a lot of leverage and a lot of credibility, whereas the Bidens had no credibility.
[00:43:25]  When China looked at the Biden, they looked, all right, this is a guy that we've Bought off his family.
[00:43:30]  And Joe knows about it.
[00:43:31]  So Joe was compromised by China.
[00:43:34]  That's a fact.
[00:43:35]  I wrote a book about it.

[00:43:38]  With respect to Trump, he comes in first day and he puts massive tariffs on China.
[00:43:44]  And that's important because when you look at China, yes, they bought agriculture goods from us, and I hope they continue to buy ag goods from us, but they cheat.

[00:43:55]  They steal our intellectual property, they steal our patents.
[00:43:59]  Committed massive hacks of software systems all across the board in the United States in every industry.
[00:44:06]  So they don't comply with environmental rules and laws.
[00:44:10]  They don't comply with basic labor laws.
[00:44:14]  So they are a bad actor.
[00:44:15]  Having said that, we do prosper when we could, you know, if we could have a free and fair trade relationship with China.
[00:44:25]  China's like Iran, they're not known for their honesty and they go back on a lot of deals they make.
[00:44:30]  Having said all this, President Trump's going in there.
[00:44:34]  He's inflicted pain on China with the tariffs.
[00:44:37]  Their economy is struggling because of the tariffs that we put on China.
[00:44:42]  So I think that there's a willingness for China to listen to the proposal that Trump makes.
[00:44:48]  And I hope his proposal includes things like trade, fair trade, where they start buying soybeans again at the same level as they were, they buy airplanes from Boeing.
[00:45:01]  They import energy from American energy companies, but also they stop cheating on their currency manipulation and stop stealing our intellectual property, stop having spy stations all over the United States, and stop sending fentanyl to the United States.
[00:45:18]  So there's a lot on the table.
[00:45:21]  It's going to be a Herculean task to accomplish, but if anybody can do it, Donald Trump can.
