First, we start on the campaign trail.
Former President Trump back on the road today for a Blue City campaign stop with Louisiana Congressman Steve Scalise.
Yeah, he's also given voters a new hint about his VP pick as he gears up for this week's showdown with President Biden.
Douglas Zader is in Washington with all the details.
Hi, Doug. | ||
Carly and Todd, good morning.
A lot of buildup for this debate.
One of these guys is on the campaign trail.
The other is hunkered down at Camp David.
These are two very different approaches to debate preparation.
Former President Trump appeared at a rally in Philadelphia over the weekend.
Today he heads to, as you mentioned, Louisiana.
He told the crowd on Saturday that he knows who his VP pick is and that that person may be at Thursday's CNN debate in Atlanta.
Nobody knows. | ||
Who do you like? | ||
Who do you like? | ||
J.D.B. | ||
You like J.D.? | ||
Who do you like? | ||
Who? | ||
Who do you guys like H.V.P.?
Tim Scott! | ||
Tom Cotton! | ||
There's a lot of variance.
Yeah, a lot of names mentioned there.
So here's a list of the folks that we know of that may be in attendance at the watch party on Thursday, and you clearly see some of the names there of folks who have been reported to be on the shortlist for VP.
President Biden, meantime, remains at Camp David, and it appears as though he may be there until the debate.
He's at Camp David. | ||
Do you think he's going to be good on the stage?
Well, I think if he prepares, he'll be fine, and then he'll forget it within about an hour after preparing.
So we'll see what happens.
We'll see what happens.
What's your strategy for the debate?
Well, this is really the best strategy right here.
We have all these people screaming questions, and I look forward to the debate.
Joe Biden doesn't have any concerns about his mental fitness, nor do I. I've spent an incredible amount of time with Joe Biden.
That's just a fade that the other side is pushing.
Joe Biden has taken this country from being in a cataclysmic downfall to actually leading the world once again, and he's going to continue to do that.
Now, after the debate, Trump is heading to Virginia to appear there with Governor Glenn Youngkin.
Biden is heading to North Carolina.
Only 19 miles to go. | ||
If you can dance perfect, you can dance a ball.
Have fun. | ||
I'm OK. | ||
Wake up, spiffy. | ||
Holy hell, son. | ||
You're about as useful as a flavored lollipop.
Hang on. | ||
If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.
What? | ||
Any other questions? | ||
*laughs* | ||
Doug Burgum took it straight to the face.
If you could dodge a wrench, you could dodge a ball.
Who's going to be Trump's VP?
Apparently, we found out.
Apparently, Donald Trump's made his selection.
Oh, baby! | ||
We have Trump's spokesperson on the show in just a few minutes.
She is hot off a CNN interview that was just on fire.
Ladies and gentlemen, CNN just kicked Donald Trump's press secretary off air after 90 seconds.
We'll tell you her horrific crimes in just a moment.
Today is Monday, June 24th, 2024.
CNN cuts! | ||
The feed on the Trump campaign, a preview of what is to come into the debate this week.
Trump says he's chosen as VP, and Byron Donalds also joins the show.
Is Byron Donalds the vice president?
Byron Donalds is being vetted for vice president, so we'll ask him live, baby.
My name is Benny Johnson, and this is The Benny Show.
Okay, so we are on the upswing, and there is a lot of great energy.
Happening right now. | ||
And the reason we are on the upswing is because my friends at the Wellness Company, I will tell you the full tale when I am 100% recovered, but I got to tell you guys, like these, they're, let's just say they're a lifesaver.
Okay? | ||
They're a lifesaver. | ||
I'll tell you the full tale when we're all said and done and cleared.
But I got, like the, the Wellness Company is incredible and I have...
Been physically using them over the last couple of weeks, and the results have been remarkable.
You need to sign up for the wellness company today.
Their doctors are medical professionals who I trust and have physically been working with via telehealth, and you can trust as well.
Their emergency medical kits contain an assortment of life-saving medications, a guidebook, safe use, and life-saving medications like antibiotics, antivirals, antiparasitics on hand to keep your family safe.
Ooh, baby! | ||
And keep... | ||
Yours truly. | ||
Up and healthy and perky and ready to go.
Just go and order at TWC.health slash Benny.
TWC.health slash Benny.
Use the code Benny for 10% off.
TWC.health slash Benny.
My full personal endorsement.
I'll tell you about that later.
Okay, baby. | ||
What just happened? | ||
Oh, man. | ||
Things are going nuts. | ||
Okay, so let me set the table here really quickly before Caroline Levitt joins the show, which she's going to do in just a matter of moments, fresh off the smoldering CNN interview that she just did.
I think we have a clip of that interview that we can play, and we'll play it for you in just a second.
If you haven't been... | ||
Online, early today, CNN began debate week, and there's a debate on Thursday night at 9pm.
Am I correct on that, ALX?
At 9pm on CNN. | ||
We, of course, will have coverage also for you here.
So they begin their debate week by kicking off and cutting the mic of the Trump press secretary.
And let me tell you why they're doing this.
I'll tell you why they're doing this.
It's war. | ||
This is war, all right? | ||
And they're losing. | ||
Imagine you're on the losing side of a war.
You're in a war. | ||
They're in a war against Donald Trump, against America First, against actual Americans that actually want to save this place.
CNN is part of that war, and they've lost all their territory.
They've lost all their grounds.
Here's polling from just this morning, ladies and gentlemen.
Polling from just this morning up.
It's crazy. | ||
Donald Trump up in every single swing state.
These are the odds of Donald Trump winning every single swing state.
Donald Trump just rolling, totally dominant.
Assume you're in a war and all territory has been conquered.
You've lost all your land.
You've lost everything.
All you have left is a little mountain fortress, a little defensive line that you've carved out for yourself.
And that's it. | ||
That's all you have. | ||
Your enemy has taken everything from you.
Donald Trump has taken everything from Joe Biden and the corporate media, the super state, the Uber state that runs everything in this country, and Donald Trump is marching towards their last vestige, and this is the line.
This is it. | ||
This is their line. | ||
The CNN debate is it. | ||
We've heard from too many people that know that if Joe Biden falls over and yanks out his pocket catheter...
And yanks out his colostomy bag and face plants on this debate that it's the end.
This is the end for Joe Biden.
So CNN is very prickly about this because CNN is the reason you have Joe Biden as resident in the White House.
CNN created the Joe Biden residency by lying to you, by not reporting on true stories about Joe Biden's corruption, by rigging.
Multiple stories against Donald Trump.
Jake Tapper is going to moderate the debate.
Jake Tapper was a full-blown Russia gator.
Every day talking about Russia, Russia, Russia.
Donald Trump, the Steele dossier.
He's such a, he's just a useful idiot and an apparatchik, a paid apparatchik for the Democrat Party.
And we'll cover that in just a second.
So Donald Trump is winning on the battlefield.
He's conquered so much.
And so they have this one last little vestige, this one last little fortress, which is the CNN debate.
With that debate, if that debate falls, then Joe Biden's out.
They're going to throw him right into the tire fire dumpster fire and kick him down the river into the trash compactor.
Biden's done. | ||
This is why Joe Biden is taking a full week.
How much does it cost to have the full week of the president's time?
This is the most powerful man in the world.
How much is a week of his time worth?
A full week Joe Biden is taking to debate?
He's not going to be at the White House?
He's not going to be doing any events?
This is like how scared they are.
They know that this is doomsday.
They know that this is the final battle here.
This is the final countdown.
So everybody around this debate is getting very prickly.
Now, ladies and gentlemen, these are some of the headlines about what just happened on CNN.
The New York Post mic drop.
Look at this. | ||
Caroline Levitt getting dumped on CNN live.
Mic drop, says the New York Post.
This is the leading, leading article.
Look at that. | ||
Just rip-roaring. | ||
The Daily Mail. | ||
CNN host Casey Hunt cuts off interview with Trump press secretary for attacking debate moderator Jake Tapper.
No, Jake Tapper, you've attacked yourself.
These people are such embarrassments.
Okay, so here we go. | ||
Here is the context, because I don't want to play it while she's on, while Caroline's on, but here is the context of what happened.
Let me set the table for you.
She just rightly, ever so softly, like with a feather, touched Jake Tapper as being a Trump-deranged lunatic.
That's all Caroline did.
Now, she's a friend of our show, and I was astonished when I saw this clip.
Here it is, ladies and gentlemen.
Basically saying there, well, will I let Joe Biden win?
It does seem as though many Republicans have set the bar very low in terms of arguing that Joe Biden is basically senile.
Now you have people like Doug Burgum coming out and saying, well, President Biden's very accomplished, trying to set expectations in a different place.
What do you expect from Joe Biden?
unidentified
|
Well, first of all, it would take someone five minutes to Google Jake Tapper, Donald Trump, to see that Jake Tapper has consistently...
Ma 'am, we're going to stop this interview if you're going to keep attacking my colleagues.
Ma 'am, I'm going to stop this interview if you continue to attack my colleagues.
I would like to talk about Joe Biden and Donald Trump, who you work for.
If you are here to speak on his behalf, I'm willing to have this conversation.
unidentified
|
I am stating facts that your colleagues have stated in the past.
I'm sorry, guys. | ||
We're going to come back out to the panel.
Caroline, thank you very much for your time.
You are welcome to come back at any point.
She is welcome to come back and speak about Donald Trump, and Donald Trump will have equal time to Joe Biden when they both join us now later this week in Atlanta for this debate.
unidentified
|
Our thanks. | |
You know, we're live sometimes for multiple hours a day.
You are at the very least live for like two hours a day.
So we see, we do a lot of interviews.
We ourselves have had a lot of time to practice camera composure and things like that.
And when your voice goes up, when you start fidgeting and flailing on camera, when you like can't catch your words.
When your heart rate is like, you can see that with Casey Hunt.
unidentified
|
You can see she's just, she's being operated.
Casey Hunt's like freaking out on air.
Man, she's not the kind of timber you actually want for this position.
And this is what Casey Hunt had to say after canceling live Donald Trump's press secretary.
You come on my show. | ||
You respect my colleagues.
Period. | ||
I don't care what show you are you on.
unidentified
|
My track record query shows you.
This is what she had to, this is what she muleed out.
You come on my show, you respect my colleagues.
What is this? | ||
Is this like the new Believe All Women?
What is this? | ||
It's incredible, the thin-skinnedness of these people.
Like, so you're not allowed to criticize people anymore?
Wait a second. | ||
That's our job! | ||
You know, we have a First Amendment for a reason!
First Amendment! | ||
Like, First Amendment actually protects the criticism of the press.
That's the goal. | ||
The goal is that you can criticize anyone in our society, including journalists.
That is the First Amendment.
Morons. | ||
So now Jake Tapper's beyond repro...
You're not allowed to criticize anybody?
I wonder how many segments Jake Tapper's done on criticizing Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
Oh, man. | ||
What is Donald Trump walking into this week?
An incredible moment. | ||
Okay, so, ladies and gentlemen, we're very, very honored to have joining us now the National Press Secretary for the Trump campaign, the woman who just bravely went on CNN and was summarily escorted right off set.
Proving so much about CNN.
It reflects so badly on CNN.
What a horrible way to start debate week.
Ladies and gentlemen, joining us live now, the great Carolyn Levitt of the Trump campaign.
unidentified
|
Thank you. | |
you you you Joining us now, Carolyn Levitt from Fresh.
From the CNN studios that must be on fire now after you just left them in flames, or I guess they left you.
I've never seen anything like it.
Thank you for being on the program.
unidentified
|
Hey, thanks, Benny, for having me.
Appreciate it. | ||
So just a really quick...
Sort of setting of the table here as to what just happened to you seconds ago on CNN.
You were on a CNN morning show with Casey Hunt.
You were able to answer a single question, and based on our watching of it, you just very lightly criticized the fact that Jake Tapper has been and had full-blown Trump derangement syndrome for a very long time, something that is empirical.
And then they did this to you.
unidentified
|
First of all, it would take someone five minutes to Google Jake Tapper, Donald Trump, to see that Jake Tapper has consistently...
|
I'm sorry, guys. | ||
We're going to come back out to the panel.
Caroline, thank you very much for your time.
You are welcome to come back.
You feel very welcome. | ||
I'm sure you feel very welcome.
unidentified
|
Still can't believe this happened, Benny.
It is really shocking just how triggering the truth is to CNN.
And that's all I was doing, was pointing out the fact that President Trump is bold to go on a three-on-one fight on a network that is clearly hostile to him.
Let's stop pretending like CNN is still the most trusted name in news.
They are not. | ||
And I pointed out statements that Jake Tapper himself has made in the past.
He's allowed to say them on air, but...
Apparently, I'm not allowed to repeat them, even though it's perfectly relevant, because he's the moderator in Thursday night's debate.
It is shocking that they not only cut off my microphone, but then dumped me from the entire program.
And as you can see at the end of that clip, I was ready to pivot and to talk about the issues and talk about our strategy heading in to Thursday night, but she couldn't take it, and they can't handle the truth.
That's what it comes down to.
Did security come and take you out of a studio?
Can you explain what happened on the back end there?
unidentified
|
Well, I'm in a remote studio, but my monitor did not show Casey's...
I was just staring into my blank camera, only seeing the image of myself.
So I thought I was still on.
So I kept going and talking about the border invasion and immigration and how Joe Biden is going to answer these problems.
And then a producer had to come in my ear and tell me, ma 'am, you're no longer on air.
And I didn't realize just how abruptly they cut me off until I actually went back and watched the clip.
Again, we encourage everybody to watch the entire clip.
I've never seen anything so thin-skinned, so feline.
I've never seen anybody so prickly, just such a glass jaw.
You were only on for about 90 seconds.
And you defended your boss.
You defended his record.
You talked about how he's going to approach the debate.
You're a big-time interview to book right now, especially on Debate Week, and this just seems like a horrible look for CNN to be so glass-jawed and, again, in such panic over such a simple criticism as your anchor has an empirical left-wing bias.
unidentified
|
Well, whether Casey Hunt knew it or not in the moment, she proved my entire point that debate moderators and the anchors at CNN have an anti-Trump bias that is so deranged they can honestly not give President Trump or our campaign a fair shake.
The fact that they cut me off and pushed me off the show four days ahead of the debate proves that President Trump is walking into a very hostile environment.
It proves he's going into a cage match, a three-on-one fight, but he's still willing to do it.
And God bless. | ||
Bless him for doing so, knowing that these hosts hate him, have compared him to Hitler.
Jake Tapper himself said that Trump's presidency was a long national nightmare for this country.
Those are opinions. | ||
Those are not facts that an unbiased journalist would share on the air.
And everyone can see that, again, if they just Google Jake Tapper Donald Trump.
But CNN doesn't want you to do that this week.
So I want to reinforce this with a really quick mashup.
Just a very short selection.
Of some things that Jake Tapper has said about Donald Trump.
unidentified
|
Let's go. | |
As we watch Donald Trump attempt to turn his arrest and indictment into some sort of campaign commercial, the folks in the control room, I don't need to see any more of that.
He's trying to turn this into a spectacle, into a campaign ad.
That's enough of that. | ||
We've seen it already. | ||
Here he is right now under my voice.
You hear him repeating his anti-immigrant rhetoric.
President Trump. | ||
Now in quarantine, has become a symbol of his own failures.
He is running the single most negative, sleazy campaign in American history for a major party candidate.
If you were to open up a copy of Hitler's Mein Kampf, you would find the Nazi leader describing the mixing of non-Germans with Germans as poisoning.
There's really no other way to say it.
Donald Trump's language mirrors this directly.
He pushes the government of the United States to use its power and credibility to justify his lie.
We don't want to waste your time.
We could go on for hours.
That clip could run for the next three days of Jake Tapper, the guy who's going to moderate the debate, in visceral opinion.
This is not journalism.
I mean, these are like, this is deep opinion.
This comes from the pit of his soul.
This comes from his hatred of Donald Trump.
This is full-blown TDS.
You're right to call him out.
unidentified
|
And it's just his words.
That's the thing. | ||
All I was doing was repeating his words, his opinions that he has so confidently expressed on air for the last eight years.
But they don't want other people to call attention to that during this week because they are still trying to uphold this false reputation that they are an unbiased news network, which anyone with Honesty and integrity can see that they are not.
And it's really disgusting.
I've seen that clip of Jake Tapper a million times, but it's still disgusting to my core that he can say those things about President Trump with no basis in reality, his opinions, and then pretend to be a veteran journalist ahead of this debate on Thursday night.
It's so phony. | ||
It's so fake. | ||
And CNN, rather than issuing an apology, they have doubled down and said that Dana Bash and Jake Tapper are two of their veteran journalists.
And they're going to do a great job on Thursday night.
Well, we'll see. | ||
But again, God bless President Trump for still having the courage and the boldness to go into this debate and to deliver on his promise, because that's what this is about.
He made a promise to the American voters that he would debate Joe Biden anytime, anywhere, anyplace.
And he's fulfilling that promise.
And this is something, by the way, that Joe Biden would never.
Ever do. | ||
Joe Biden would never walk into a hostile environment.
He doesn't take questions from the media.
He never sits down for interviews, not even with friendly pro Biden, pro Democrat mouthpieces, which there are many of in the mainstream press.
He would never, ever take questions from hostile hosts like President Trump is going to do on Thursday night.
Yeah, I was going to say that this would be the equivalent of.
joe biden sitting down with tucker carlson for an interview or debate but actually that would be very unfair to tucker because tucker hasn't worked directly for the rnc as far as i know you can go here into jake tapper's wikipedia and see that jake tapper began his career as a press secretary for a democrat congressional candidate and then served as that congressional candidates press secretary on capitol hill
His job was flacking for the Democrat Party.
That's how he began his career.
Then he worked at a powerful public relations firm run by Democrats.
Then he worked for the Brady Center to prevent gun violence and handgun control.
Then he went on to write for the Washington City paper.
You know what his first article was?
I dated Monica Lewinsky.
We have it right here. | ||
Here's the article. | ||
I dated Monica Lewinsky.
Here's Jake Tapper's first.
Foyer into journalism.
Going on dates with Monica Lewinsky for clicks.
There you go. | ||
Here's your boy. | ||
There you go. | ||
So you may not want to go there, but we're happy to.
This is Jake Tapper, ladies and gentlemen.
unidentified
|
That is exactly who he is.
And CNN is, again, still trying to pretend like they are anything but deranged and anti-Trump, even though it's so evident in the opinions that their hosts like Jake Taffer, The fact that Tapper, in one of the clips you showed, had to cut off President Trump's speech.
They can't even handle the truth.
They can't even handle listening to his words.
And rather than having such disgust in their hearts, maybe they should open up their hearts and listen to President Trump, because there's hundreds of millions of Americans right now who believe in him and his message to make this Caroline, I wanted to now pivot.
I mean, I think we've obviously done a number on Jake Tapper.
Jake Tapper, who's from Philadelphia, must have been crying into his therapy pillow watching the rally.
This weekend in Philadelphia, it was remarkable.
It was another stadium filled with people inside of a Democrat city, inside of a blue area of what is a purple state or is a blue state.
And Trump is doing this all across the country, whether it's New Jersey or New York or California.
What is the strategy moving forward through the debate at convention and the general?
unidentified
|
Well, whether it's the CNN debate stage on Thursday night or Detroit, Michigan, where he was last week, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, where he was this past week, President Trump is committed to bringing his winning message to every...
Corner of this nation. | ||
And the Republican Party is so unified and President Trump is leading with independent voters by so much that our campaign is now going on offense in deep blue territories with longtime Democrat voters who are fed up with Joe Biden's terrible policies.
And we are actively outreaching and engaging in these communities, the Black community, the Hispanic community.
We also just announced that we're opening offices in Virginia and Minnesota because the polling shows.
That these states are legitimately in play.
And it's because all Americans, regardless of their background, what state they live in, what color their skin, how much money they make...
Are realizing that we could not afford four more years of Joe Biden's inflation policies, four more years of Joe Biden's wide open illegal immigration invasion, four more years of Joe Biden's weak foreign policy that is leading us to the brink of World War III.
We need a return to the Trump era where the economy was booming.
Our border was secure. | ||
Law and order was demanded in communities across this country.
And that's why we're seeing President Trump is leading in the polls in every battleground state.
We are now going into these traditionally Democrat territories, and he is making historic gains.
And we will continue to do this all the way to Election Day on November the 5th.
So real quickly here, the strategy on the debate stage.
Can you tell me about the president's preparation for that?
We saw some back and forth with the audience this weekend.
It was really heartwarming and funny.
How is the president preparing for this debate?
And what will the president do in this three against one fight to try to mitigate getting interrupted every 10 seconds, right?
Like, how will the president actually land punches in this debate?
unidentified
|
Well, he's very well prepared for this debate because he's...
Arguably the most well-read man in America.
President Trump knows what's happening around the world at all times.
He's constantly reading.
He's been meeting with policy advisors to talk about the key issue areas that are going to be the focus of this debate on Thursday night.
But aside from that, he's continued with his busy schedule, and that is meeting with the American people.
And that's the most important audience of all.
He was in Philly on Saturday.
Like we said, he was at a cheesesteak shop taking questions from voters.
He'll continue to engage in hostile interviews with the news media ahead of Thursday night's debate.
This is a sharp contrast to what we know Joe Biden is doing, hiding away in the woods at Camp David, as far away from the cameras as he can get, with a million advisors who are pressing note cards into his brain, making him memorize talking points.
It was even reported that Joe Biden was practicing standing up for 90 minutes.
Actually really sad that the leader of the free world has to practice standing on his feet for an hour and a half.
President Trump does that multiple times a week at rallies, giving hours-long speeches.
So President Trump is ready.
Good luck to Joe Biden, who clearly is getting some much-needed rest ahead of this debate on Thursday.
You've come on this program and said that you think Joe Biden might be getting mommy's little helper before he gets on stage.
But you're not going to push the whole drug testing thing.
Can you give me a quick update on that?
There won't be a drug test.
Is that how it stands right now?
unidentified
|
Well, there won't because Joe Biden's team refused to commit to one.
It is an honest question to ask.
We saw him at the State of the Union.
He was clearly more energized than he ever is on a daily basis when we see him stumbling and shuffling around and stumbling over his own words.
So it's... | ||
A reasonable question for one to ask if they are going to artificially stimulate him ahead of Thursday's debate like they may have done at the State of the Union.
And if Biden's team wants to prove that not to be true, then they can do it by signing up for the drug test that President Trump has challenged Joe Biden to do, but they have not yet done so.
There's been quite a test for the vice presidency that's been going on quite publicly, and apparently, according to reports, Donald Trump has made his selection.
Donald Trump told reporters this weekend that I've made my pick, and that pick will be at the VP debate.
Can you comment on that?
unidentified
|
Well, I'm definitely not going to break any news on your show, Benny, as much as I love you.
No, but in all seriousness...
President Trump will make that announcement in due time.
He will do it directly to the American public when he feels it's most appropriate.
And there's been a lot of great options on the table, that is for sure.
All of them much better than Kamala Harris, that is also for sure.
But it's up to President Trump to make that announcement very soon.
Okay. | ||
Wow. | ||
unidentified
|
Okay. | |
All right. | ||
Well, so I see a bit of, it's our job to notice these kind of things.
I see a bit of a pivot in the language.
So that announcement, that decision, so that decision has been made.
unidentified
|
I will not comment on whether it's been made.
It will be made. | ||
It has to be made. | ||
We have the convention in a few weeks.
So in due time, that announcement will be made.
Yes. | ||
All right. | ||
Okay. | ||
Well, here we go. | ||
Just since you brought it up, we do have the footage of Donald Trump with his mini at the cheesesteak.
Uh, uh, uh, uh, shop in Philly.
This is just heartwarming.
This boy was, uh, I'm not, I'm not sure if it's readily able to be seen in this footage, but he's, he was crying.
Uh, maybe you were there and you saw it yourself, but it was really heartwarming.
Uh, we posted on our social media just to maybe, uh, to close here, a quick comment on this style of campaigning.
And this boy was like clearly moved.
Donald Trump signed a $20 bill for him.
He had tears running down his face, got to meet his hero.
unidentified
|
Yeah, it was such a heartwarming moment.
This young boy meeting his idol.
Those are his words, not mine, in President Trump.
And you see President Trump there taking time to sign his autograph for him and engaging with him and, you know, patting him on the back, taking photos.
That's who President Trump is.
He cares about every single American that he meets.
And we see that every single day, no matter where he goes.
And it really is. | ||
It's inspiring and it's humbling.
It's a lot of it's a lot of effort and energy that he puts.
We will never cut you off.
unidentified
|
Thank you. | |
I appreciate it. | ||
Real news. | ||
On the Penny Show. | ||
Yes! | ||
All right. | ||
Clip it. | ||
Let's go. | ||
Everybody go follow. | ||
Everybody go follow Carolyn on her socials.
150,000 Americans. | ||
Can't be wrong. | ||
She's the best in the business, okay?
Thank you so much. | ||
unidentified
|
Thank you. | |
Godspeed. | ||
Godspeed. | ||
unidentified
|
Whoo! | |
Baby! | ||
All right! | ||
Smoking! | ||
Smoking! | ||
I've never said that about an interview.
Smoking! | ||
Fresh off of nuking! | ||
CNN Live! | ||
Caroline Levitt! | ||
You gotta go follow her.
She's just great. | ||
She's a dynamo. | ||
I wasn't going to press too much on the VP stuff, but I did want to show you the actual articles here, ladies and gentlemen.
Trump says he has decided on his running mate.
It's done deal! | ||
Drops major VP hint ahead of CNN debate.
Oh, boy, here we go. | ||
Donald Trump saying it's over.
It's over. | ||
I know what I'm going to do, and it's been done.
Now, there is the Republican Convention in just a matter of weeks here.
We are one month away from the Republican Convention, so I guess keep an eagle eye on the debate on CNN to see who Trump brings with him.
Here's Donald Trump. | ||
Confirming this this weekend.
And then, ladies and gentlemen, in a moment, we'll be speaking with Byron Donald, who's on that VP list.
Maybe we'll break some news.
We'll see. | ||
We're rocking and rolling.
It's Monday morning. | ||
Let's get at it. | ||
We've got a country to save.
Here's Donald Trump saying, nope, VP selection's been done.
unidentified
|
Will your vice president pick up the debate?
Most likely, yeah. | ||
Do you know who your vice president's pick up the debate?
We have a lot of people coming.
There's a lot of interest, tremendous interest in the debate.
And when you say prep, I think this is prepping.
These people know better than anybody what they want.
Have you decided who your vice president is?
In my mind, yes. | ||
Do they know? | ||
Do they know the film? | ||
Nobody knows. | ||
That's right. | ||
Keep it your way, baby. | ||
Win. | ||
I'd like you to run the whole country the way you did.
All right. | ||
I love the style of Donald Trump campaigning.
You just love it. | ||
You can see the boy here.
This was at a cheesesteak.
Shop in Philly. | ||
Not familiar with this one.
Our great... | ||
One of our great producers and content creators at the program, Ashley.
She lives in Philadelphia.
She was at the rally. | ||
We have some photos. | ||
Maybe we'll pull up some photos from her at the rally.
Maybe she knows this cheesesteak shop.
When we were in Philadelphia, she took us out to cheesesteaks.
So I don't actually know this shop, but I do know this style of campaigning with Trump, where he sort of zeroes in on somebody and then makes that human connection to them.
This little boy, like, crying tears of joy as Donald Trump signs a $20 bill and gives it to him, hugs him, embraces him.
You never see kids cry. | ||
You never see kids cry. | ||
Tears of joy meeting Joe Biden.
They only cry tears of fear and scream in Joe Biden's face until Joe Biden leaves them.
This is something that regularly happens.
We actually have a lot of video evidence of this.
Kids may cry around Joe Biden, but it's not out of being happy.
It's not like this. | ||
Man. | ||
Gotta save this country.
Who is going to be the VP?
Why are you so obsessed with who the VP is, Benny?
Well, because Donald Trump is constitutionally limited to one term.
And because they could assassinate Donald Trump if he picks the wrong VP.
And because that VP is going to naturally be the person to carry forward the mantle of America first, which is how he saved this country.
And because, finally, you've seen Donald Trump be betrayed by his vice presidency and by a lot of the people around him.
A good example of this is the JFK files.
Now, we covered this this weekend, but there's a new clip going around of Donald Trump.
There's an interview in the All In podcast where Donald Trump was asked about the JFK files.
Why didn't you release all the JFK files?
And Donald Trump says, you know what happened?
A bunch of people in my administration were used, probably by the CIA, Trump says.
It probably came from the CIA, but a lot of people in my administration came in.
I saw what was in the JFK files.
It was shocking. | ||
It would have shocked the conscience of the country.
And a bunch of people in my administration, not officials, not career people, but people who work for me, came in in a pressure campaign to stop me from doing this.
They say this a lot in D.C. Personnel is policy.
The people you have around you, especially the vice president, sort of determine what policies are being pushed.
And what actually happens with the country?
Why isn't there a wall on the southern border?
Why aren't the tax cuts permanent?
Why didn't Donald Trump get done some of the marquee things that could have been done very easily?
Well, ladies and gentlemen, you could really argue.
You could make a major argument, and the people who are smart in the administration make this argument to this very day, that he had the wrong people around him.
Which isn't necessarily a knock on Trump.
I mean, could you imagine staffing out the federal government?
How many workers work for the federal government?
50,000, 70,000? | ||
It's the biggest corporation, biggest business on earth is our federal government.
Not by a little, by like a long shot.
And so, yeah, it's hard to, like, staff all that out.
So that's why the VP selection is so important.
Doug Burgum, ladies and gentlemen, saying it really doesn't matter who Donald Trump's VP is.
He's going to win the race regardless.
This is a guy who's, you know, in the running.
Here we go. | ||
And we look at vice presidential selections in the past.
You know, Joe Biden helped Barack Obama with foreign policy inexperience.
Mike Pence helped Donald Trump with evangelicals.
Kamala Harris, black voters, women voters for President Biden.
What would you bring to a Trump ticket specifically?
Well, I think we have to just look at the fact that President Trump can win this race regardless of who his vice president is.
He's got the luxury of not having to pick someone.
And I think if we actually look in political history, the last time A vice presidential pick actually helped swing an election was when Kennedy picked Lyndon Johnson, and Lyndon Johnson helped Kennedy win that race.
And with President Trump right now, where he is with Hispanics, with blacks, with people under age 30, and with independents, I mean, he's very strong across the board.
So he can pick someone that he can focus on, like, hey, let's get someone to get stuff done.
Let's get someone who helps him govern.
He doesn't have to make a choice like some of the others.
You can see why I don't like Doug Burgum.
I'm entitled. | ||
It's my show. | ||
I'm entitled to my opinion.
I'm proud. | ||
I'm glad that he's a strong Trump ally.
I think he'd be really helpful in an administrative role with Donald Trump.
But he's not the guy, he's not the pizzazz that you need on the ticket.
I've been actively whipping against Doug Burgum being the VP choice.
If you want somebody who is quite electric, if you're looking for somebody who gets the people going, as they say, and we have video evidence of that actually from the Bronx, from Trump's rally in the Bronx, then you may want to look the direction of Byron Donalds, the great member of Congress.
From Florida's 19th District.
He's a member of the Oversight and Accountability Committee.
We need a lot more of that.
Byron Donalds, congressman, joins the program now.
you you Byron, how you doing, man?
I'm doing good, Benny. | ||
How you doing? | ||
Hey, doing great in this fantastic state of Florida.
But you have been out of state for...
Hot minute going across the country with Donald Trump to some of the darkest blue areas of the country.
You were in Detroit. | ||
You were in the Bronx. | ||
You'd think that you'd be booed out.
Hi, I'm a Republican with a Republican president.
You'd think you'd be booed out of those cities, but the opposite happened.
Yeah, the opposite's happening, Benny, because people in our country are sick and tired of Joe Biden.
Let's just call it what it is.
They're tired of the failure.
They're tired of the lies.
They're tired of the gaslighting.
They're tired of just crises after crises after crises.
That's why I call Joe Biden the master of disaster.
Everything's going wrong.
But it's bigger than that.
I think you have a lot of voters in our country, Black, Hispanic.
They're looking at their politics and they're saying...
Now, wait a minute. | ||
The Democrats have been telling us the same thing over and over every four years, every two years, but they've been in charge.
Their policies simply don't work.
And so they remember when Donald Trump was president.
They remember that wages were rising massively ahead of inflation.
They remember that the world was safe.
They remember that our border was secure.
And so they're saying, I have Donald Trump, and unfortunately we have Joe Biden, who was the better president.
And it's without a shadow of a doubt.
That it's Donald J. Trump.
And that's why I think you're seeing black voters, Hispanic voters, starting to move towards Donald Trump.
So this has been a very interesting week already with Trump's spokesperson, who was just on the program getting kicked off CNN after 90 seconds for just criticizing CNN.
And it doesn't seem like an act of strength.
It seems like an act of panic.
See, I think CNN knows, and based on our reporting, this debate is going to be the last stand.
And if Joe Biden face plants in this debate, then he's out with last night's takeout dinner, man.
I mean, they're going to throw him in the trash compactor.
That's what we've been told.
And it looks like Joe Biden's taking this very seriously.
He's not going to be, he's like disappeared into the woods for a week.
And meanwhile, Donald Trump's campaigning.
unidentified
|
What is your preview for the week?
First off, will you be at the debate with the president?
Yeah, I'm going to be in Atlanta for the debate.
I think a couple things.
One, I think Joe Biden's going to come in.
You know, I think he's going to be ready to go.
He's going to try to pivot to everything from January 6 to democracies to what happened in lower Manhattan.
And I think what you're going to see with President Trump, he's going to come in.
He's gonna be calm. | ||
He's gonna have the presence, the stage, the stature of the presidency of the United States.
And he's going to take us issue through issue about how Joe Biden's a failure.
And despite all of the chaos that the media brings to us, and trust me, the media is the one that brings the chaos.
Despite their chaos, Jake Tapper, Dana Bash, et cetera, Donald Trump is gonna be focused on Joe Biden.
I believe Donald Trump's gonna win this debate.
But more importantly, I will tell you, I think Joe Biden is going to be their nominee.
I don't think they're going to.
I don't think he's going anywhere.
I think he's here to stay.
And so we need to get focused, get ready on turning out votes, getting people registered, and making sure that the ballots get into the ballot box.
Here you are in your hometown of the Bronx with Donald Trump on stage, crowd going wild.
Have you been doing any debate prep with Donald Trump?
You've been spending a ton of time with him on the road.
You been shadowboxing a little bit with the president?
No, no, he doesn't need that.
Just sending in some ideas about what I think some of the redirections should be, some issues to cover, things to be, you know, how you could probably try to phrase different policies and stuff like that.
But I mean, look, the president, he always gets great advice from everybody.
He reads it all. | ||
He takes it in, and then he's going to make the best decision, and he's going to move forward.
Okay. | ||
So you believe that Donald Trump will come out victorious in this debate.
The only reason that we're...
The only reason that we're...
Sort of stuck on this subject is it does seem like everything that can be done has been done and is actively being done to rig this debate against the president, including picking moderators who are full-blown TDS Democrat operatives.
You know, Jake Tapper worked for the Democrat Party.
He was a flack on the Hill for Democrats and then went and worked for Democrat lobbying firms.
I mean, to say that he worked for the Democrat Party and was paid by the Democrat Party, that's a known fact.
And then two, you have his press secretary getting cancelled in real time on air on CNN just because she said something they disagreed with.
It seems like a preview of coming attractions.
It is, but I'll tell you, you fight the crazy left media long enough, you know all these hits come.
You know, what happened to Caroline Levitt today was completely unprofessional by CNN.
Look, if you can't take the heat, don't do this.
Get out the kitchen. | ||
And the truth of the matter is, Jake Tapper has said very disparaging things about Donald Trump on his airwaves, but now he's going to be the moderator.
My hope is that Jake takes this seriously, that he is a professional of the highest order.
The truth is, is that people don't want to hear from Jake Tapper.
They don't want to hear from Dana Bash.
They want to hear from Donald Trump, and they want to see if Joe Biden even has a defense for his terrible agenda.
That's what matters, not these commentators and these TV show hosts.
Yes, yes. | ||
So this is what matters.
The footage from this weekend out of Philadelphia, just wild, man.
More stadiums packed. | ||
More arenas packed. | ||
And you're seeing this around the country.
I think this is why they don't want a live audience during the debates.
You might be one of the few people who are the member of the live audience, but I'm sure they'll zip tie your hand so you can't clap or say anything.
But there was this remarkable moment.
You haven't been on the program since, but it was something that just blew the minds of many of the people who work on the show, who are fans of these guys.
These two drill rappers who were brought on stage in the Bronx.
I'm sure you saw them. | ||
I think you were standing right next to them.
And these guys come on stage and Donald Trump's like, hey, maybe I should get a grill.
Like, look at these guys' teeth.
Maybe I should get a grill here.
We have the clip playing right here.
It was pretty amazing. | ||
Did you know this was going to happen?
Did you know these guys?
No, I didn't know it was going to happen, actually, when I got to New York.
You know, through social media, you see that they were moving through the crowd.
I know one of them, Chef G, out of the Bronx, they were moving through the crowd at the rally.
And so when I saw it on social media, I go, ooh, this is going to be big.
It's going to be big. | ||
And so President Trump, like he always does, he brings people up on stage.
I didn't say, I didn't know he was going to want to get a grill, though.
That's different. | ||
But you know what? | ||
Donald Trump is a president for everybody.
So, you know, there's nothing wrong with it.
You don't have to wear him all the time.
You know, you just wear him when you want to.
But it was actually a great moment, funny moment.
Everybody loved it. | ||
Okay. | ||
Yeah, Donald Trump's going on a rapper tour de force.
Every single time he does an event in one of these cities, he brings some local rapper up on stage.
We got employees at the company here that really follow this, and they educate me, right?
And it's really... | ||
Well, Benny, real quick, I'll tell you this.
The reason why I think you have a lot of hip-hop artists...
Who are coming to the side of President Trump?
Because a lot of hip-hop artists, you know, come up out of the hood.
And the number one thing is you hustle.
You hustle hard. | ||
You do everything you can to try to, you know, make money for yourself, make money for your family.
There's times where a lot of them have done things that are illegal and they had to pay that price.
But they know what it is to be able to keep money in your pocket and try to build something.
And so right now they're trying to do that the positive way through music.
And then you have a reckless agenda like Joe Biden who just wants to tax the heck out of you, wants to stop you from having a lot of the freedoms that you have in this country to create, to build.
And they're saying no to that like so many other Americans.
I think this is why the left is so furious about what's happening in polling with different demographic groups because they think that everybody's just supposed to think the same based upon your race or based upon your culture.
Or based upon your economic status.
That's not true. | ||
Whether you're rich, whether you're poor, whether you're black, whether you're white, you want a prosperous America, you want a strong America, you want an America that leads, and nobody's going to get that job done like Donald J. Trump.
We know Joe Biden's not going to get that job done.
He sucks. | ||
We know this. | ||
Joe Biden sucks. | ||
Put that maybe. | ||
That should just be the campaign slogan.
Sometimes the campaign slogan, they just materialize while you're live.
So, okay, something that was put up while we were live that was a little premature, but here we go.
AOC. | ||
So AOC really criticized the rally that Donald Trump had in the Bronx, and then your colleague AOC goes ahead and has her own rally in the Bronx.
We have a couple of angles of it.
It looks like if you subtract the media, there's about 50 people there.
At the rally. | ||
We have a number of different angles here.
Your colleague, maybe she took some of what Joe Biden, little baggies of what Joe Biden's been leaving around D.C. We're not sure.
She went nuts this weekend, along with Mr. Fireman, we call him on the program.
And so, just your thoughts on this, because AOC was very critical of your rally in the Bronx with the president.
You know, she was saying that it wasn't real and that they had to bus people in.
And yet AOC's rally looks like this.
I just wanted to sort of get your takeaway thoughts on this.
You're coming there. | ||
unidentified
|
Okay, wait a second. | |
Lower that audio. | ||
Thank you. | ||
That's enough. | ||
unidentified
|
Whoa. | |
Okay. | ||
All right. | ||
Little baggies of this stuff.
She's got to fix the hair.
Okay, she got the hair right.
Okay, now she's fat. | ||
unidentified
|
All right, all right. | |
I mean, look, the only thing I'll say about it is that, you know, when you got nothing, this is how you got to carry yourself.
When you have no argument, when you got no ideas, when everything you've done has failed the people of the Bronx, failed the people of Brooklyn, of New York City, and everywhere else, that's what you got to do.
I'll tell you, that day in the Bronx was phenomenal.
Way more people than whatever the heck they did over the weekend.
But I think it demonstrates that, you know, people are wanting President Trump back.
I was talking to a friend of mine in Miami.
He was telling me that his son, his son's now, I think, 18 or 19. And four years ago, his son was like, no, we won Joe Biden.
We won Joe Biden. | ||
His son now is like, man, nah, we need Uncle T. We need Trump.
That's what a lot of these young Black kids, they call him Uncle T. They said, no, we need Trump back.
That's who we want. | ||
So that's where you have this move of young Black men.
And really, people across our country are saying, we have seen enough.
Joe Biden sucks. | ||
Kamala Harris is non-existent.
We need to change. | ||
This country is great. | ||
We could do so much better.
But it starts with leadership at the top.
People know Donald Trump will deliver.
Yeah. | ||
So we really... | ||
I've been tracking you, Congressman.
You've been doing a lot of interviews on CNN.
You've been going on MSNBC.
Did you go on Joy Reid's show?
unidentified
|
I did. | |
I'm happy to see my colleagues going on there.
You didn't call her out for her Trump hair, which is, you know, I'm not an advisor of yours or anything, but I would say, you know, if you're against cultural appropriation, why you got a Trump wig on?
Joy has her own fashion sense.
I let her have it. | ||
She can take care of it. | ||
She got it. | ||
It's very impressive, but it also lends to a lot of people saying, you know, good for you going into the lion's den.
Trump's going to do that this week on CNN.
But also, hey, man, what do you, you know, Are you getting prepared to make a jump?
And Donald Trump's saying he's already picked his VP this weekend.
Want to get your thoughts on that.
Well, whatever the president does, I'm behind 100%.
That's always been my position.
I'll tell you, Benny, just even being talked about on that list, that list is a tremendous honor.
I was talking to my wife about that, you know, just last night, just how surreal it is.
It's a tremendous honor if that's what he decides to do.
I think the bigger thing people want to know is, well, could you do the job?
And to me, the answer is absolutely 100% yes.
You know, I'm not just a guy in politics.
I spent 17 years in banking, insurance, and financial services.
Like, Benny, I built myself from the bottom.
I started at the bottom in banking.
Worked my way up. | ||
Then I served eight years, four in a state legislature, four in Congress, so I know how the legislative process works.
And at the end of the day, it's about getting the agenda done, getting it passed.
The American people can't wait.
And the only other thing I'll say about it is, look, I know I could do a better job than Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
Like I said earlier, they suck.
And so I know I could do a better job than them.
I think that probably...
At least 79% of the audience right now is praying for a debate between you and Kamala Harris.
Oh, we would have a good time.
You know, the border czar would have a lot to answer for.
I'd have to ask her what border she went to.
Not sure. | ||
Well, I haven't been to Europe, she says.
You know, I feel sorry for me.
Neither have I. That don't matter.
I mean, this is the stuff, man, but it's crazy.
I don't know. | ||
We'll see what happens.
Okay, okay. | ||
So, the question that regularly gets asked, final question I have on the subject is, Kamala Harris, in the last VP debate, and since, uses this little trick when you call her out, and she goes, excuse me, I'm speaking.
Excuse me, I'm speaking.
I'm speaking. | ||
We have so many clips of her doing this.
And what would you do if she pulled one of those finger wags to your face?
Well, see, you know, I'm very respectable.
You know, I respect people, let them talk.
She says so many things.
Without saying anything, I probably would just let her talk a lot and then just step in and correct her with the facts and with the truth.
You know, if the finger wag came up, it's only probably because I'm having to defend myself.
Against some gaslighting.
And at that point, then you just have to stand firm and say, no, you had your opportunity.
I've let you talk this entire time.
Now I'm going to speak. | ||
And then you make your point.
But look, at the end of the day, she's had four years in this job, two years in the Senate.
She was an AG, a terrible AG in California.
She has nothing to show for her time in service the same way Joe Biden has nothing to show for his 50 years except disaster everywhere.
And at the end of the day...
That's what matters. | ||
That's the issue. | ||
And that's why I believe Donald Trump's going to be the next president.
Man, I can just see it, man.
I can just see that. | ||
Joe Biden sucks. | ||
I can see the official bumper sticker.
Yeah, Joe Biden sucks. | ||
That's the messaging. | ||
Hot cakes, Benny. | ||
It'll go like hot cakes, baby.
No wonder you're so good at this job, Congressman.
No wonder. | ||
No wonder. | ||
Ladies and gentlemen, for more Spitting Fire, you've got to follow.
The Congressman on social media.
Nearly millions of people.
Can't be wrong. | ||
He's on his way. | ||
Look at this. | ||
675,000 followers for Byron Donalds.
Get on in there. | ||
And ladies and gentlemen, this man is a fighter.
Godspeed, Congressman.
Thank you. | ||
Take it easy, Benny. | ||
Thanks. | ||
All right. | ||
unidentified

Also, why does he always talk like he's crying?
You ever hear Jake Tapper talk?
You ever hear that? | ||
What a hoaxer, too. | ||
Now there's all these clips flooding my timeline of the various hoaxes that Jake Tapper has pushed on the airwaves of CNN, and these people try and robe themselves in this Austere.
We're so good. | ||
We're so much better. | ||
We uphold this mount of journalism.
They're such frauds. | ||

We got triggered. | ||
We got triggered libs from left to right.
We got victories up and down the board.
And I don't know. | ||
Can we do a salt that lib for clip L?
Is that clip L long enough to make those libs salty?
You got a 30-second salty lib clip.
Okay, fine. | ||
So MSNBC panel erupts after Heritage president blasts crime committed by illegal immigrants.
Really amazing. | ||
This does show you exactly how the cake is baked.
So illegal immigrants, I'm starting to lose track of the number of Americans.
And this is very sad. | ||
Maybe I don't want to. | ||
Perhaps the producers can get me a comprehensive list.
I don't want to be disrespectful or insulting to anybody.
But many dozens of Americans have lost their lives due to Joe Biden's open border.
And that number increases by the day, and these are horrifying statistics.
Talking about those statistics is one of the most important conversations to be had in America.
Yet, if you talk about those murderous, demonic monsters...
Who slaughter Americans, but you use the wrong term, MSNBC will have a salty freakout.
So let's salt them, ladies and gentlemen.
Let's make sure that the salt flows on MSNBC.
Salt that lib. | ||
Ladies and gentlemen, MSNBC panel explodes for calling illegal criminal aliens, illegal criminal aliens and murderers.
unidentified
|
Thank you. | |
What do you tell the parents of those people, those young girls who were killed?
This is an absurdity. | ||
The preponderance of these people, Michael, are male.
unidentified
|
But what is the difference between an illegal immigrant who, unfortunately, engages in that activity?
And we don't like that. | ||
I want to be clear. | ||
We don't use the term illegal, so undocumented individuals.
That's sweet. | ||
They're illegal aliens.
Undocumented individuals versus anyone else who commits the same crime.
It's incredible. | ||
Really, just embarrassing.
This is the country that they want.
This is why you can't negotiate with this worldview.
You can't. | ||
It's a suicidal worldview.
We've said this many times.
Marxism ends in the suicide of your culture.
The way that these people think, it ends in all horrible things for you and your family.
In all horrible things for you and your family.
The language policing is such a shield to try and deflect against policy.
And it's... | ||
Particularly disgusting if you know your history because the person there on who's the host of the show named Simone Sanders.
Simone Sanders worked for Kamala Harris as her spokesperson.
Simone Sanders was a regular pundit on TV who was the foremost pusher of the kids in cages hoax.
All of these people are hoaxers.
And what happens as soon as Joe Biden gets into office?
They're called It's no longer kids in cages.
It's called temporary detention facilities.
The way that they manipulate language, the way that they manipulate the American public, is deeply evil.
And there's no other word for it because these manipulations are leading to the deaths of Americans.
And then it gets very, very personal for us.
You should protect yourself.
ladies and gentlemen. | ||
That is why every single Monday, we have our Monday Gunday, brought to you by Spike's Tactical.
you Difference a governor can make.
Wow. | ||
Are you watching from the great state of Louisiana?
There's some awesome things happening in Louisiana right now.
Jeff Landry is the new governor.
Of Louisiana. | ||
Louisiana is one of the states that you have a Democrat governor, a Republican governor, a lot of razor-thin elections all throughout the state.
Jeff Landry is the new governor.
He signed a Ten Commandments bill.
Put the Ten Commandments in school.
It's freaking awesome.
It's amazing. | ||
There is a revival, a spiritual revival going on in the country.
You've got to be... | ||
Totally deaf and dumb to not feel it.
But Jeff Landry also, this weekend, signed a bill making Louisiana the 16th state to block credit card tracking of gun purchases, something that is patently illegal.
They're trying to create a national firearm registry through the back door, okay?
So they've been slapped down by the Supreme Court for this, saying that you're not able to, like...
Just like you wouldn't be able to mark free speech, right?
You can't stamp, like, oh, you're out of free speech tokens.
That's not how natural rights work.
That's not how rights given to us by God work.
You also cannot make a national firearm registry.
And that is a violation, obviously, of your right to freely own and possess firearms.
Governor Landry. | ||
Has signed legislation to stop the backdoor of that happening, which is them tracking your credit card purchases.
So credit card companies then giving information illegally through the backdoor to federal agencies about what you've purchased.
I mean, can you see the slippery slope there?
Can you see how that's going to be used against you?
Governor Jeff Landry signed legislation SB301 last week prohibiting credit card companies and other financial institutions from tracking firearm-related purchases in Louisiana.
Landry's signature made Louisiana the 16th state to ban such efforts.
We need a national ban on this, obviously.
The National Shooting and Sports Foundation applauded Landry, saying Governor Jeff Landry's signature on the Second Amendment Privacy Act is a powerful statement.
The Second Amendment rights in Louisiana are not negotiable.
The law will protect Louisiana citizens from unlawful intimidation.
Yeah, you don't... | ||
The way that you protect and defend your family should be private.
People should be scared to enter your home or your domicile as a man who lives there.
It's pretty amazing. | ||
There's some pretty solid statistics that where firearm ownership is the highest, legal firearm ownership is the highest, that legal and responsible firearm owners decrease crime by a lot, like effectively just atomize crime.
Because if you go breaking into a house in Florida or Texas or Louisiana...
You're liable to not walk out.
And you know what happens in states like that?
The police, I mean, we have clips of the sheriffs here in Florida being like, hey, somebody breaks into your house, you can do the job for us.
That's what the Florida sheriffs say.
Like, that's what the officials say here in the state of Florida.
So it's incredible, like, when you know that you can defend yourself, when you have the right to defend yourself, how that actually is a limiter of crime.
That's actually an extreme limiter of crime.
You're going to argue that having, like, crime-free neighborhoods is a bad thing?
Is that now what you're arguing?
They're such simple arguments, ladies and gentlemen.
And they're such beautiful, beautiful.
Firearms from Spikes Tactical.
We're so proud to partner with them.
We're going back out onto the range with our friends at Spikes Tactical soon.
And yeah, great, great Florida gun manufacturer.
Good to support. | ||
unidentified
|
Support your local businesses.
And also practice your...
If you don't practice them, if you don't use your rights, then they will be stolen from you.
They'll be taken away. | ||
We'll give you something right now that can never be taken away.
The scriptures that are written on our hearts.
The words of Christ Jesus our Lord from Romans 6.23.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.
Just a simple truth there.
unidentified
|
That you have two paths.
And there really isn't any other.
You have two ways to go. | ||
And so find your power, purpose, meaning, salvation and forgiveness in the name Jesus Christ.
And your salvation and your eternal life will be there for you.
You'll be forgiven. | ||
All that Christ asked because it's like sin no more.
He said this many times.
Like change. | ||
And move away from the darkness.
And that's the best that you can ask for.
It's really like our charge on this program every single day.
Just move away from the darkness.
Bit by bit. | ||
Like little by little. | ||
Okay? | ||
Salt and light. | ||
Salt and light. | ||
We have lots of lights in the studio.
Okay? | ||
We have a lot of lighting around here.
And we have our salt. | ||
And so we're out here doing our best and we'll be here for you all week in this crazy week.
Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for tuning in.
It's your boy Benny. | ||
We march together as a brigade, as an army.
We march together because we know that we already have victory.
Can't be defeated. | ||
Ladies and gentlemen, let's go win. |
