| In 2006, when I was U.S. Attorney, I would have believed that the Department of Justice, for the most part, was going to be about politics. | ||

| Coincidentally, Benny, that was the very first time that I heard about the Epstein Island and about victims of Epstein trafficking. | ||
| And when I saw the U.S. Attorney in Florida at the time, who was U.S. Attorney at the same time I was, when I saw what came out of there. | ||
| This ridiculous charge, this poor investigation, no investigation of those that were, you know, participating in the conspiracy to trafficking young girls. | ||
| That was my first wake-up call that the Department of Justice was in trouble, and that was 2006. | ||
