| And there were a ton of jeers and catcalls and some other things. | ||
| And the officer who stood by me, I was so appreciative of her because she kept saying, you know, just look straight ahead. | ||

| But part of this, it's, I think, intended to intimidate and humiliate everyone who goes through this. | ||

| Generally speaking, when you go in to see your client, they take you into a room. | ||
| There are other rooms that are private. | ||
| I've never been into what they call a pod with these general population, but that's what happened. | ||
| I mean, they just literally took me through the general population that was mostly, if not all men. | ||
| And so, you know, a lot of these like, you know, big guys. | ||
| And so thankfully I had a female officer accompanying me, but it was not comfortable. | ||
| So they exposed you to a all male prison population that was able to laugh or jeer or complain. | ||
| They, like, walked you through that. | ||
| That is disgraceful. | ||

It's like, I mean, literally, and this is not hyperbole or exaggeration to say that, you know, those scenes in the movies where there's an officer and they're, you know, they're taking the person down this hallway and there's, like, people in the cells. | |

| That was also part of this before I even went into the pod area that was the general population. | ||
| There were people that were just, you know, throngs of groups of people. | ||
| And I was told that the Fulton County Jail is well over capacity. | ||
| So they've had, I think, something around 71 deaths occur at the Fulton County Jail because of how horrendous the conditions are there. | ||
| But there were just, you know, groups of people that were jeering at the at the doors by the windows. | ||
| They were saying words to me that I would not repeat ever and much less in present company. | ||
| And that's where the mugshots are taken. | ||
| And so I anticipate that all of my fellow co-defendants would have that same experience unless there's more than one place that they take. | ||

| But that gray background is what's in at least where I was in the sort of general population area. | ||
| And that was the first step, was to take the mugshot. | ||
| And, you know, and I've gotten a lot of both lauding and criticism from, you know, of course, depending on who it is, for smiling in my mugshot. | ||
| And for me, it was just a moment of saying, you know, the left wants to break us. | ||
| They want to intimidate us. | ||

| He met that challenge, and he ultimately, thankfully, wasn't arrested. | ||
| He never had to go through that, but he didn't know that at the time. | ||
| And he simply said, well, you know what? | ||
| Then I'll have a jail ministry. | ||

| I mean, I'm standing for the truth, and I believe in the sovereignty of God, and I will face this challenge saying, what does the Lord have for me next? | ||

| I've been in contact with him. | ||
| In fact, he texted me, and I'll pull this up really quick because what he said was just really sweet, and I just, I love and respect John MacArthur so much. | ||
| And he said, in response to this mugshot, he said, your smile is the testimony of a clear conscience, a true heart, and a calm spirit. | ||
| And I think that's an amazing description. | ||
| So you said, I'm not going to let you break me. | ||

| In fact, the officers who are at the jail, the sheriffs, they're doing their job. | ||

| And, you know, she she told me that she's been there at the Fulton County Jail for about 17 years. | ||

| And I don't think she ever expected this kind of emphasis on their particular jail. | ||
| So, you know, that's what the Lord calls us to as Christians is to. | ||
| To provide that kind of respect, even for the people who are tasked, unfortunately, with participating in this giant disaster that is weaponizing the government. | ||
| It is attempting to criminalize the practice of law, in my case and in the other lawyers' case. | ||
| And so I simply wanted to represent a... | ||
| True and faithful Christian, what I believe an officer of the court should embody and represent. | ||
| And so I saw all of this coverage of that mugshot that later, once I got my phone back and everything else, it had already gone viral. | ||
| And our good friend Robbie Starbuck was actually the first person to text me a picture of it. | ||
| And he said something like, wow, this is great. | ||
| And then when I finally logged back into Twitter, it had gone viral. | ||
| And so seeing all this coverage and saying, you know, some of the headlines were like, this is the face of courage. | ||
| This is how to have confidence in the midst of trials. | ||
| I just thought, you know what? | ||
| If that's encouraging other people to stand up for the truth, then I'm going to make that my profile picture and just say, if this is what people are seeing through this picture and through my countenance, then... | ||

| And I'm going to have this as my profile picture to hopefully just inspire other people to simply stand up and don't let the bullying and intimidation and the sheer evil of what goes on in our world get to you. | ||

| And before I get to that question, just on what you said as far as the Christian history, I mean, we do have a long tradition of Christians being in contradiction with the world and a false worldview that is always in an adversarial posture toward the truth. | ||

| That for those of us who stand up for the truth, we will be in that constant tension. | ||
| And we've seen, not only in scripture, but throughout world history, how Christians who have stood up for the truth have been persecuted in one form or another. | ||
| And it's not to measure anyone's... | ||
| Challenges, comparison to anyone else's, because people go through trials and heartache that nobody ever knows, that it's not on a national scale, it's not in a viral mugshot like mine, but at the same time, this is also why prominent Christians throughout history give us examples of how we need to face the trials in our lives, | ||
| and that's why in Hebrews chapter 11 and 12, we're given what the Bible describes, the author of Hebrews says, as the great cloud of witnesses that have come before us, because having faith, It's not just believing in God like we would believe in Santa Claus. | ||
| Faith is believing in the promises of God, that his word is true, that truth is the personification of Jesus Christ and his gospel and the salvation that we can have through faith in him, that he came literally in human form, died for us, and rose again three days later, and we have that promise. | ||
| And if we believe that he is Lord and confess... | ||
| And so if we believe in the promises of God, we will act on those promises. | ||
| That's what faith is. | ||
| And that's why our founders in the First Amendment enumerated this right that we have, not just to believe or to worship, but to exercise. | ||
| That is faith. | ||
| Faith is action. | ||
| And that's why the Apostle Paul says that faith without works is dead. | ||
| Why? | ||
| Because you can't just believe. | ||
| We can all just say what we think, but we will live and act what we truly believe. | ||
| So faith is genuinely acting on... | ||
| What we believe to be true about God and what we believe to be true about the reality to which we're presented. | ||
| And so then the author of Hebrews goes on to say in Hebrews 12, so therefore, since we're surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, people have come before us who have believed and acted. | ||
| That's all Hebrews 11, is these are the people who believed, they acted, they believed, they acted, they had faith. | ||
| Then we can run our race with confidence, looking to Jesus as the author and perfecter of our faith. | ||
| And so I want to run my race. | ||
| Whatever God has for me, that's all that I can do. | ||
| That's all that any of us can do as Christians is to run our race with endurance and look to Jesus. | ||
| So what comes next was your question, Benny. | ||
| Well, what comes next is, like the Apostle Paul before me, take advantage of all of my legal options. | ||
| And I'm very confident in my counsel. | ||
| I'm confident I will be vindicated because I am innocent of these charges. | ||

| That's what they're trying to do with all of these intimidation tactics against James O 'Keefe, our good friend. | ||
| And again, like you, Benny, this is what they're trying to do to parents in school board meetings, putting them on domestic terrorism watch lists is what they're doing to pastors who want to stand up for pro-life messages. | ||
| They're getting raided by the FBI. | ||
| I mean, this is so much bigger than just Trump. | ||
| And I don't care who anybody supports in a Republican primary. | ||
| First of all, anybody who thinks that they want to run this country effectively and return us to the foundations of liberty in the Constitution. | ||

| And if they're not willing to say that about Donald Trump just because he's their political opponent, then they don't deserve the office of the President of the United States. | ||
