| In terms of the appointment of special counsel, there wasn't any alternative. | ||
| In my view, for Merrick Garland. | ||
| It's rather belated. | ||
| But notably, he only appointed a special counsel for the purposes of these documents. | ||
| With Trump, he expanded it to include January 6th allegations. | ||
| And one thing that many of us have suggested for two years is that we are well past the date when you should have appointed a special counsel on the Biden influence peddling allegations. | ||
| Those will not be included, apparently, as part of the investigation of the new special counsel. | ||
| Okay, so what will be included is the mishandling of these docs. | ||
| Of course, they are using a two-tiered system of justice. | ||
| To combat that, and James Comer is doing so in the House. | ||
| Comer, Biden classified material storage worse than Donald Trump's handling of classified material. | ||
| It is, in fact, worse on many, many reasons and on many fronts. | ||
| But the front that strikes me is that Donald Trump was the president of the United States. | ||
| Joe Biden was not the president of the United States. | ||
| Joe Biden has absolutely no power to classify or declassify or to hold any classified documents, whereas the president, including, but not limited to, President Obama, President Clinton, President Bush. | ||
| There's actually established law based on President Clinton keeping classified documents inside of his sock drawer, and that has never been overturned. | ||
| Therefore, it is standing precedent and law in this country right now that presidents have the ability to maintain and keep classified documentation. | ||
| So Donald Trump, of course, does not have any problem with this, and this will blow up in their faces. | ||

| We covered this morning that the Representative James Comer said on Thursday at Fox News Channel, the Faulkner focused that in light of the second classified documents being found, President Joe Biden's garage, his handling of classified materials was worse than former President Donald Trump. | ||
| Comer said everything he accused President Trump of with respect to the storage and handling and possession of the classified documents, we now know President Biden did the same thing, only worse, because there are multiple occasions and we really don't know what process was involved. | ||
