| First off, what is Labor Day? | ||
| Labor Day was started in the 19th century. | ||
| A fight for fair working conditions. | ||
| Hey, we can all agree with that. | ||
| Did anybody read Upton Sinclair's The Jungle when they were in school? | ||
| There was really bad working conditions. | ||
| In The Jungle, they talk about how in a meat processor in Baltimore, they'd put rats and stuff into the meat processor if someone would... | ||
| However, it's morphed into something, of course, that is utterly perverse and completely antithetical to how Labor Day was started. | ||
| Labor Day was originally designed to honor workers as part of the American organized labor movement. | ||
| The holiday, rooted in the late 19th century, Because, of course. | ||
| What is it that makes America possible? | ||
| Well, the... | ||
| Back-breaking work of the American man and woman, building everything from battleships to our infrastructure in this country. | ||
| We build things. | ||
| The only way you can have an empire in this world is to build things. | ||
| Go ahead and ask the Romans about roads. | ||
| Go ahead and ask the British about ships. | ||
| And ask the modern-day Chinese about technology. | ||
| Technology that they steal from America. | ||
| And that is the point, ladies and gentlemen. | ||
| If you were a part of a labor union, if you're part of a... | ||
| A unionized force in America, which is, by the way, falling drastically and catastrophically. | ||
| In fact, according to the New York Post, when Labor Day was signed into a federal holiday, a third of America's workers were unionized. | ||
| One third. | ||
| Do you know what that number is today in the private sector? | ||
| Six percent. | ||
| 6% of America's private sector workers are unionized. | ||
| I think that's an incredibly good thing, because collective bargaining against the free market is a very stupid thing. | ||
| The free market is how you actually get what you want in your labor market. | ||
| Collectively unionizing, which is essentially communism and collectivization of your labor, that does not get you the results you want, and that is why you see the audio industry decimated. | ||
| Here in America, while the auto industries in Japan that are non-union, the auto industries in South Korea that are non-union, they're skyrocketing. | ||
| They were able to completely lap Detroit due to labor market conditions and labor unions. | ||
| The labor unions have morphed into a force that used to simply advocate for good working conditions and now have morphed into a political force, a nefarious force. | ||
| A force that is communist in nature because it is simply communism versus the free market. | ||
| We have to be on one side of that coin, and that's why you're seeing manufacturing jobs, which are all union jobs, collapsing here in this country. | ||
| Manufacturing employment fell sharply. | ||
| 1980 to 2000, manufacturing employment fell by 5.5 million jobs. | ||
| And then in 2000 to 2017, it fell by another 2.2 million jobs. | ||
| This is 7 million manufacturing jobs lost in my lifetime here in America. | ||
| Why is that? | ||
| Well, those same people that tell you they're pro-union, like Joe Biden, the same people that tell you that they're super on the side of the workers, lunch pail Joe, yo, we are ready to go, we're ready to support the union, we're ready to support unionized labor. | ||
| They only support unionized labor on behalf of themselves. | ||
| This is why the actual only labor unions that function these days in America are public sector labor unions. | ||
| Forgive me. | ||
| I swear I haven't gotten my COVID vaccine. | ||
| So everyone's... | ||
| So we're set. | ||
| So hey, ladies and gentlemen, here's what the deal is when it comes to labor markets today. | ||
| You're being conned. | ||
| The people who want unionization today, the people who want to control the labor markets today, want to do so merely for one reason. | ||
| And that reason alone is power. | ||
| They wish for power. | ||
| That is why public sector unions, which should be illegal, are the only massively unionized force in this country. | ||
| In fact, one-third of every single unionized employee in the public sector, meaning government-run unions, that can collectively bargain against the taxpayers, they're unionized. | ||
| One in every three workers are unionized in the public sector, as comparison to 6% of the private sector unionization. | ||
| These people are selling you out. | ||
| Biden's labor secretary is saying that he wants to replace American workers with foreign workers. | ||
| He is saying that openly, and he said it in a committee hearing this last week. | ||
| That is mixed with outsourcing. | ||
| Outsourcing is critical to the globalist infrastructure for the leftist world order that Joe Biden represents, the taking of manufacturing jobs, the siphoning of American capital, and American might, and American intellectual capital. | ||
| to other nations. | ||
| And they are doing that wholesale. | ||
| That is why many parts of this country, which used to be robust, are now looking like war zones and abandoned nations. | ||
| This is a crisis in America. | ||
| The loss of manufacturing capacity in America is crippling our nation. | ||
| The reliance on foreign relations, the reliance on foreign countries, is a national security threat to all of us. | ||
| And so we have to take labor markets extremely seriously. | ||
| Anybody who actually cares about Labor Day and the American labor that built this country would demand that manufacturing in this country be incentivized once more. | ||
| That oil production and coal production and machine production that happens in this nation be incentivized once more. | ||
| And it is antithetical to be in favor of labor markets and labor practices that are centralized unionization. | ||
| Run by the Democrat Party that destroy those markets time and time and time again. | ||
| And so, while we are pro-American worker, we are anti-Labor Day at the Benny Show. | ||
| That is why we are working today, okay? | ||
| Even though I'm sneezing also during the show. | ||
| Even though we've spent the weekend with the kiddos and probably got plenty of... | ||

| I don't know, what's the population? | ||

| They went, and they spoke, and the differences between these events were shocking, to say the least. | ||
| The visuals were shocking. | ||
| Oratory was shockingly different. | ||
| The vibe was very different. | ||

| And this is, on the top, Donald Trump's rally. | ||

| This was the start of college football season this weekend. | ||
| I'm sure all of you were watching. | ||
| I was watching the Florida State game last night. | ||

| Joe Biden, on the other hand, is like, the crowd is empty. | ||

| A huge portion of that crowd is public sector unions, the kind of unions that we just talked about in our open about Labor Day. | ||
| Again, public sector unions make up one out of every three public sector employees is unionized. | ||
| That gives them the ability to collectively bargain against you, the taxpayer, who provides their salaries. | ||
| Even FDR, by the way, said that this was wrong. | ||
| Even FDR said, and here's the quote here, Pro-union FDR, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, said that organized labor's overreach into the federal government has no place in government service. | ||
| In the 1930s, he wrote, all government workers should realize that the process of collective bargaining, as usually understood, cannot be translated into public service. | ||
| Strikes by public employees, he said, were unthinkable and intolerable. | ||
| FDR's warning has gone by the wayside. | ||
| Probably a major reason why public support in unions is down and a huge reason why Labor Day parades are a distant memory. | ||
| Now, the reason we bring that up is because you can see here in this image, let's make the image big again, you can see here in this image that Donald Trump is talking to the people and Joe Biden is talking to people who are forced to be there via his union. | ||
| So the union card membership... | ||
| Pushers force the police officers and the plumbers and the people who are part of their union to show up at these pathetic events by Joe Biden as a capacity of their membership in the union. | ||
| So it's like forced political speech by these union agencies. | ||
| It's why we are pro-labor, anti-labor unions on this show. | ||

| The free market is the greatest provider of wages and of resources. | ||
| To the working class in world history, there has never been a greater transfer of wealth to working class people than through the levers of the free market. | ||
