Thank you.
benny johnson
Well, the purpose of journalism should be to make the powerful uncomfortable and to comfort those who have no power.
It should be to expose what the powerful don't want you to see.
Not to expose authorized information, which you see day and night here, right?
The CIA said.
The FBI said.
The federal government said.
Pfizer said.
Guys, is it time to start questioning the people around you?
Do you really think that Anthony Fauci has your best interest in mind?
Have you been paying attention?
We certainly have.
And that is why this show exists.
We love to expose the powerful and to make the powerful uncomfortable.
But we are not the best at this.
At that, we must bow our heads and present the sword.
To one James O 'Keefe in Project Veritas, who, after many, many years of knowing James and seeing James go through a lot of fascinating viral videos and incredible national news moments where he started his career off with Acorn, just sort of ripping out of the craw from the Obama administration their ability to community organize, right?
Which we all know is...
Using ACORN as fraudulent electioneering and fraudulent service in order to hurt Republicans, a dark money group from the left.
James O 'Keefe exposed them, got them shut down.
And James has gone through it, ladies and gentlemen, with everything from the FBI whistleblower to whistleblowers about the vaccine.
Dude, this guy's been everywhere.
But recently...
It's been very fascinating to watch James O 'Keefe slice and dice with Twitter executives and engineers.
These are some of the people at Twitter who have really questionable morals and very unquestioning narcissism because they'll go on any date and tell anyone anything because definitely they're the sexiest, most attractive people in the world and who wouldn't want to date them.
James O 'Keefe has found Two people who have spoken to his hidden cameras on dates about what's going on inside of Twitter.
And the rot inside of that place, the communism inside of that place, and the censorship inside of that place.
And in the meantime, they've been mocking their new CEO, Elon Musk, for having Asperger's or making fun of him for being mentally ill.
These people are sick individuals.
They're repugnant.
We are disgusted by them.
And we are very, very happy to be welcoming James O 'Keefe to the program right now to discuss the groundbreaking and Elon Musk Attention-grabbing, because Elon has responded to all of these videos, which have been amazing to watch over the last 24 hours, the Project Veritas Twitter bombshells.
And joining us to talk about it, James O 'Keefe.
How do you do, man?
james okeefe
Well, Benny, we're doing pretty well this week because we broke a big story.
You helped share it, and this is some of the most watched videos in the history of Project Veritas.
These two Twitter executives mocking Elon Musk's, what they call Asperger's, quote-unquote, special needs, and then also saying Kami as...
And how they are for the censorship.
These are Twitter executives that we caught on tape and have released, and Elon Musk has reacted three times to this investigation.
benny johnson
So we have seen the videos.
They are absolutely shocking, but I think we should play the first one, the first bombshell video of a Twitter employee.
This is an engineer, and he is talking about the...
Culture inside of Twitter.
James, can you cue this video up for us?
james okeefe
Yeah, he's talking about the culture inside of Twitter.
He's talking about censorship and how this very far-left culture actually made him more left.
This was obtained from a female undercover journalist that was on a date with a guy.
We never touched these guys.
We never do anything like crossing a line, but he...
Did not know that he was meeting with a Project Veritas reporter.
She was filming him.
She actually identified herself as a reporter towards the end of the meeting, and he refused to believe her and continued to tell her all these things.
So we did actually tell them who we were, you know, at some point in this interview.
And then the real bombshell.
This video is the most watched video in the history of Project Veritas Benny on Twitter, and we're not even on Twitter.
The video's got almost 11 million views.
Now, he says they're communists.
He says he's a communist.
And he says they only work four hours of, you know, they don't work very much.
He's trying to impress this girl by telling her these things that are rather unimpressive.
And Elon Musk responded by asking if the video is legitimate.
You responded to him, and you shared the second installment.
benny johnson
Here we go.
A little engineer trying to impress some Project Veritas smoke show that says, Hi, I'm a reporter.
Watch.
unidentified
Twitter does not do it.
What do you want?
We're not really operating on the capital.
We're like, race or social stuff.
We're all like, communist Ideologically, it does not make sense.
Like, because we're actually sensitive on the right, not the left.
Because everyone on the right wing will be like, I don't know if the two parties can truly coexist on one platform.
What do your colleagues say about me?
I hate it.
Oh my god.
I'm at least okay with it, but some of my colleagues are super left-left.
Left-left-left.
What do they say?
They're like, "This could be my last day if it happens." Has much changed since Elon's coming out?
A lot has changed.
A lot has changed.
We're all worried for our jobs.
Why are you guys so worried?
I think it's just like the environment, like you're there, and you become like sick, calm, calm, calm.
We did it all because we rolled against it.
A lot of employees rolled against it.
But at the end of the day, board of directors, I would say, and then they acted on their best interest because they didn't want to get sued.
I basically went to work like four hours a week the last quarter, since that's how it works.
How would you describe communism besides Twitter?
Essentially, like, if you're against Twitter, you have a lot of people that don't really care about, like, OPEX, like, capitalists will care about how to make a business more efficient.
But on Twitter, it's like, mental health is everything.
Like, if you're not doing it, you can take a few days off, you can take a few months off, they'll come back, but you always, like, do your best at any time.
You can decide to sell, and, you know, we'll run the business as much as possible.
Capitalists would be like, you better generate profits on your own.
A lot of people don't have to survive this.
What's your favorite part of the world?
benny johnson
So not the smartest people working at Twitter, James?
james okeefe
Yeah, yes.
I mean, but they're honest.
And that's why we do this, because sometimes you're more honest when you don't know you're being recorded.
He was speaking to a reporter.
He actually, I think it was like defense mechanism.
He kind of clammed up and said, well, I'll introduce you to some other people you can speak with.
And then we released this next video, which you shared, which is a Twitter client lead.
So this is a really high up person inside Twitter.
His name is Alex Martinez.
He's in New York City.
And he tells our journalist that Elon Musk is, quote, special needs, therefore he can't take him seriously.
He also says he's Asperger's.
He calls it Asperger's.
Asperger's on the autism spectrum.
And he says the Elon Musk is Asperger's and he's special.
And he kind of mocks Asperger's people.
And then this is really weird.
He says to our journalist.
He reads aloud an internal email that Twitter sent out warning everyone in Twitter to be on the lookout for Project Veritas.
And he says, luckily, I can trust you.
He's speaking to the guy across the table working for me.
Because I didn't meet you on a dating app.
Therefore, I know that you're not with Project Veritas.
And he's saying these things into the camera.
And he goes, I trust you.
Well, of course, the person that he was talking to works for me.
And he was being recorded.
And this video, you know, has, you know, seven, eight million views.
And Elon Musk pinned a tweet at the top of his profile, Benny, saying, you know, basically saying that this guy's mocking people with Asperger's, and he made a sad face, as you know.
And Elon Musk has responded to these investigations, and all this is breaking news.
benny johnson
So I think, first and foremost, viewers, you've got to see at least this portion of the clip.
It is gold, Project Veritas, Cooperstown.
This is the clip that gets hung in the rafters.
Watch.
unidentified
Well, right now we don't make profits, so it's going to say ideology, which is what's led us to not being profitable.
The rest of us who have been here believe in something that's good for the planet and not just to give people free speech.
Because again, these people really do believe in what we're doing.
These are the policies we've put in place for misinformation or mislabeling media or whatever.
Why do you think this should be taken down?
Those are the questions they're going to ask him.
It's going to be hard for him to be like, oh, because people should make their own decision.
It's like, no, but people don't know how to make a rational decision if you don't.
Put out all correct things that are supposed to be out in the public.
As an advertiser, as my business is what I do every day and why I go out is like we want it to be as fair and transparent and accurate as possible.
And if that means there's a level of censorship to make it correct, quote unquote, again, and what does correct mean?
I guess it just kind of goes against the idea of like, well, what is correct?
If we're implementing all these rules and Elon wants to dismantle them, then technically our ideology has led us to not making money because we're not making money.
And Elon wants to turn it the other way so that we can make money.
There's a statement they need all 7,000 people to say.
And so they can't, like, tell us that, like, the real truth.
He has hospitals.
Yeah, yeah, I know that.
So he's special.
You're special needs.
You're literally special needs.
So, I can't even take what you're saying seriously.
Targeting of tapes.
Wait, wait, wait.
You can read it.
Let me see.
james okeefe
And how to protect yourself.
unidentified
Groups like Project Veritas are active right now.
The f*** is that?
It's like some group that's trying to just out the employees.
Like, they're trying to go on dates with them like this and record them and then go sell it to the New York Times and say this is what the Twitter employee just said.
This is what's really happening.
This is what they're telling us to not do.
You're lucky that you met me organically because I would be questioning everything about you.
benny johnson
So, James, that's clearly indicative of cultural breakdown at Twitter.
You must have the stupidest.
People on planet Earth working at this company and also some of the most vile and vindictive members of our community working at this company.
And these are the people who claim that they would definitely ban you for something intolerant or that isn't contributing to Twitter's health and safety.
There's a whole health and safety board at Twitter for inclusivity and diversity and equity.
But here they are mocking handicapped people, disabled people, and people with Asperger's.
james okeefe
I mean, I think it's...
I don't even know where to begin.
I'm actually doing a comedy...
I've never done that before, but I was invited to go on stage at Stand Up New York in New York City to just talk through what has happened over the last 48 hours, because you cannot make it up.
It is really, I mean, A, why is a Twitter engineer bragging about who he's a communist?
Like, Stephen Crowder did a whole bit where he's like, I am a communist.
Like, I don't work.
Like, let me impress you with that information.
Why is a Twitter executive mocking someone, you know, With special needs, why are they mocking that?
That's not appropriate.
People are questioning whether I hired actors to play the role of Twitter executives.
They're literally questioning whether these people are actually real people.
Now, I have their LinkedIn profiles.
They're obviously real Twitter executives.
I have Twitter internal Twitter emails, Benny.
From within Twitter that they've sent out two of these emails saying that this has happened and authenticating it and not a single American journalist, mainstreamed or other than the New York Post, not a single American media organization has said that Twitter has commented.
Well, Twitter has commented by sending out an internal email.
It's not an authorized statement, but the whole idea of journalism, of course, is unauthorized information, information they don't want you to see.
And then there is the comments that...
That they've said this Twitter, Alex Martinez said to our undercover journalist about censorship.
He says, we don't want to give people the freedom to make decisions.
We need to censor them.
He's saying the quiet part out loud.
And he's saying it to a guy.
I guess that he thinks he's on a date with, but he's being very honest about what he actually believes.
Now, this guy, Alex Martinez, we've learned, has left New York City.
He's in exile.
We don't know where he is.
We're about to release a video of me confronting him, sitting down with him at the table, and it's really unbelievable what you're about to see.
benny johnson
Okay, ladies and gentlemen, get prepared.
Alex Martinez's worst day of life.
Go.
unidentified
Out for a jog on the streets of New York.
james okeefe
With Twitter Brass.
Hi, Alex.
unidentified
Hi.
james okeefe
I'm James O 'Keefe with Project Veritas.
unidentified
Oh, my God.
james okeefe
You are on hidden camera talking about Elon Musk.
Why is it funny?
unidentified
Well, no, I'm just like, you're literally just trying to, like, capture me in the middle of my own dinner.
james okeefe
Yes.
Quote, you're special needs.
You're literally special needs.
I don't even take what you're saying seriously because you're special needs.
unidentified
That's not true.
I'm like your special needs, your literally special needs.
It's not like people that are coming on camera.
james okeefe
We're journalists, and I know that you don't believe in the First Amendment.
Your dinner is over there.
I love Elon Musk.
unidentified
If you look through the glass, he's sitting over there avoiding us.
james okeefe
So this is you on video.
unidentified
Yeah, thank you.
You on video.
James, James, come on.
Get the fuck out of here.
Excuse me?
james okeefe
Excuse me?
Why are you cursing at me?
unidentified
They're hugging him.
james okeefe
Oh, there he is.
unidentified
Hi, I want to take a jog.
james okeefe
Why are you running?
You're literally disclosing an email.
It says, here's the email.
Team, groups like Project Veritas are active right now.
unidentified
Right?
james okeefe
Excuse me.
unidentified
Sir, what is Elon Musk going to do when he sees this?
I don't know.
james okeefe
I'm on the street in New York City.
benny johnson
Why do you run in here?
Maybe he's going to go on stage.
unidentified
You tell me...
benny johnson
You could do that.
unidentified
That would be good if you go on stage.
james okeefe
I'm about to go on stage with a videotape of this Twitter executive and confront him.
unidentified
Here we go.
james okeefe
Oh, there he is.
He's turned around.
There you are, mocking the special needs.
You have already talked to us, sir.
You are mocking Elon Musk's Asperger's condition.
What is Twitter's ideology?
The Twitter executive is walking into traffic.
He's going back and forth, zigzagging like he's gotten to a cab.
That was crazy.
benny johnson
All right.
So this is obviously shocking stuff.
And clearly you are.
I don't think ruffling the feathers is the right word, James.
I think you're plucking the entire chicken and boiling it here at Twitter.
The bird is done.
I mean, the bird is toast.
Nobody's ever going to go on a date ever again.
Not let anyone ever wanted to go on a date with these people.
If you're a four-foot-tall smelly engineer at Twitter and a six-foot-tall blonde smoke show shows up and is super interested in you, that's...
That's not real life.
That's James O 'Keefe.
Have you seen these memes, James?
james okeefe
Oh, I'm actually making a PowerPoint of all of them because...
I mean, and the best part about it is that our undercover journalist is reading the email, you know, the internal Twitter emails, be on the lookout for Project Veritas.
And our undercover journalist goes, so what is this Project Veritas?
What is that?
It's like there's a meme of the scene in Glorious Bastards where Brad Pitt is like, bonjourno.
And he's saying Project Veritas.
And he goes, oh, there are a bunch of guys who try to catch people on hidden camera, but luckily I can trust you because I met you organically.
I mean, this is like art.
That's what we call Project Veritas, like cinema verite.
And there's another meme where they're talking about, you said blonde smoke show.
Like, if you're a tech dude and you're meeting with like a 6 out of 10, not even like an 8 or a 9 out of 10, a 6 out of 10. And you're bragging about, you know, how you like Stalin and, you know, you don't work.
You're probably speaking to someone who works for James O 'Keefe.
There are these memes.
I can't even, you know, I can't even imitate it.
This is Vish from, if you're an Indian tech bro, trust me, dude, she's not interested in your job or your salary.
She's there on behalf of daddy James O 'Keefe.
There's a lot of funny stuff out there.
We want to know what they think.
benny johnson
So our team pulled the Twitter...
Terms of service.
And marginalized communities, hate-filled comments about marginalized communities, are grounds for banning the account.
So should Twitter ban their own executives?
james okeefe
Precisely.
I want to know.
That's a great point.
There's a rule at Twitter.
Benny, you can't mock, you can't engage in racist behavior, you can't mock people who are disabled, you can't make fun of people's autism.
I mean, if I did that, Benny, I would be rightfully banned from Twitter.
In fact, I am banned from Twitter, but not for doing that, for creating quote-unquote fake accounts.
I sued Twitter for defamation.
I've never created a fake account in my life on Twitter.
They just...
I guess made that up.
But I'm a journalist, and we quote people always accurately.
I don't opine on the subjects that I'm investigating, and I'm banned from Twitter.
So what are they going to do with Alex Martinez, one of their lead client executives?
What are they going to do about what he said?
And right now, I understand he's left New York City.
He's hiding.
He's in hiding.
And the first guy, his name is Shurushdi Muragesan.
He took down his Twitter account.
He had a LinkedIn.
He took that down.
We're going to have all the Twitter executives deleting themselves from the world.
The question is, what is their employment status at Twitter?
benny johnson
Yeah.
Well, a man who's probably very interested in their employment status is the man who will presumably own Twitter very soon.
Elon Musk had a lot to say, and I'd like to have you respond to some of his comments over the last 48 hours as we have been sharing these videos.
Often these comments come at the bottom of the tweet.
He responds to the tweet.
The first tweet was of that engineer, that senior engineer, saying that Twitter is commie as...
And it doesn't believe in free speech.
Elon Musk says, is this legit?
Response, James?
james okeefe
Yeah, I mean, he's asking if it's legitimate.
And I also know that people like Joe Rogan have asked, is this real?
Because I guess there's an article circulating, Benny, that this is...
I'm going to pull it up here so I can get the facts correct.
There's an article circulating...
That this is not real.
It says, quote, Now, I have his LinkedIn.
I've posted that to my Telegram.
We've sent that out.
So this goes back to the sort of...
This disinformation they accuse me of, they're engaged in disinformation and conspiracy theorizing, claiming this man is not a real human being.
I don't know what they think I did.
Hired someone to pretend to be a Twitter employee?
This man works for Twitter.
Twitter has confirmed he works there because they sent out an internal email about it and about him confirming that he was their employee.
So the answer to Elon Musk and Joe Rogan are asking, is this real?
Is this legitimate?
Is yes, it is.
Yes, it is.
It's as simple as that.
benny johnson
So the next Elon Musk response to a Project Veritas video is a sad face emoji mixed with a response to the same video, separate responses, a sad face emoji, and then Twitter executive mocks free speech and people with Asperger's.
Elon Musk took that tweet and then pinned it to the top of his profile.
Your comments on this.
james okeefe
Yeah, I mean, the unhappy face was kind of, some people in our newsroom were kind of like, that's kind of sad.
I mean, you know, he was an unhappy face and he was maybe, I don't know if that means he took it, it got under his skin, it hurt him.
A lot of comments I've seen about that remark were people were really upset that the people...
They call themselves on the left are violating their own concepts of fairness and non-discrimination.
And then there was the big reaction, which was him replying to you, actually.
I believe he replied directly to you sharing the video, right?
And he said...
People mocking people with Asperger's?
He just stated it as a fact, and then Elon Musk pinned it at the top of his Twitter profile.
And as I speak to you, now mainstream media is starting to report it.
This is the independent Elon Musk retweets undercover video where Twitter executives allegedly mocks him as special needs.
So apparently he retweeted it.
I don't know if he just did that or if he did that last night.
The mainstream media dragging themselves, kicking and screaming, reporting this story, Benny.
If it was anybody but Project Veritas, it'd be everywhere.
benny johnson
So, Elon Musk is being called special needs.
In this video, he's being called Asperger.
These are the Twitter executive's words.
He has Asperger's.
The sad emoji and the response is actually really telling in Elon Musk sitting there saying, why are these marginalized communities allowed to be defamed and to be slandered by this Twitter executive?
And do you think these people are long for this world if Elon Musk actually takes over Twitter?
james okeefe
A lot of people are now speculating about Elon taking it over.
The deal is on hold.
I don't know what's going to happen there and what he's going to do there.
So I don't know if I can comment.
People are saying, well, when aren't you going to get your account reinstated?
Elon Musk does not currently have any authority over Twitter.
But the best thing we need to do is just to reveal what these people actually believe.
There's a lot of comedy in all this.
There's a lot of irony in all this.
As you know, Benny, the first video I ever did was the Lucky Charms investigation where I banned Lucky Charms because they're racist against Irish people.
So what's interesting about that is that this is exactly like that.
They have rules saying you can't mock people.
You can't...
Speak freely.
The executive actually says, we don't believe in free speech.
Elon does believe in free speech.
Those are his words.
So they have these rules that govern their platform.
You're not allowed to offend anybody.
And here they are, sitting down, offending people with autism.
And I think that's really interesting.
You know, I think that's sort of...
Goes back to the genesis of what founded Project Veritas, which is to make them live up to their own book of rules.
And what's interesting is watching all these people's heads explode on Twitter, because they don't want to talk about all the serious First Amendment issues.
They just want to talk about, well, they probably shouldn't have mocked someone like that.
But hey, if that's the world they want to live in, if those are the rules, you've got to live by them.
benny johnson
Those are the rules.
You saw a lot of...
Trump got hit really hard because there was a reporter who had some type of malady.
I don't know exactly what it was, but he had some type of, I presume, a handicap, and Trump mocked it, and the war went nuts, right?
Everybody goes insane over that.
Now here you have a Twitter executive doing the same thing on camera, and nothing.
I mean, it really is quite shocking.
People are starting to get tired.
Do you see any cracks sort of in this diseased temple there at Twitter?
Do you see any shakeups actually happening even pre or post-Musk takeover?
I know that it has to be hell working there right now.
And it seems like a lot of people are gunning for them.
And a lot of scrutiny actually on business practices, which is the worst that can happen, right?
Is public scrutiny on business practices, specifically the fake bot accounts, which seems...
Well, are there cracks in the dam?
james okeefe
I tend to believe Just based upon intuition and my own observations in my travels and meeting people around in public, that there are a lot more people agree, believe in the idea of free speech than don't.
They're just afraid.
Most people are afraid.
They don't want to be banned from Twitter.
They don't want to say something that's going to get them in trouble, get to lose their job.
We had an FBI whistleblower yesterday, I'm sorry, last week say...
It's all about the pension and the paycheck.
I tend to agree with that.
It's like people just do the thing that's going to make sure that they have shelter and food on their table.
But I think this series of events is rather extraordinary.
I have two Twitter executives on tape like this go in exile, take their accounts down.
Twitter sent two emails out.
In the emails, they're talking about...
Don't tell people what you actually believe.
This is really ironic.
Don't tell people the truth about what it is that you think.
This is what they do when we expose them in election campaigns.
Don't tell them what your policies are going to be.
Isn't that sort of anathema to just common sense?
I mean, if you're really that ashamed of what it is that you actually believe in, maybe the thing to do is not to stop talking about what you believe in, but change your beliefs.
So these are extraordinary admissions.
And on a serious note, I think I'm not even on Twitter.
I mean, think of the irony, Benny, that I'm actually banned from the platform and people on the right are always complaining about censorship.
Look at what just happened.
I'm not actually able to do anything on Twitter.
And these videos are all over Twitter.
So I think there's a greater issue here, which is that we just need pure video journalism can go viral.
It can transcend censorship.
Really strong stories can get out there on these platforms.
And the third point I would make is that Twitter is very important.
Twitter is so important, maybe even more important than who wins the Senate, because Twitter is the vehicle by which our people get information.
So I think they know that.
Obviously they do.
And that's why this story that you were talking about and that you helped share is such a big one.
But what needs to happen next is we need Twitter to issue a statement.
They need to issue an authorized statement.
They need to go on the record and talk about what these men have said.
And we look forward to them doing that.
And Veritas will continue to release videos, Benny, because we have people.
On the inside of Twitter, we have sources inside Twitter that are sharing us information.
And we'll just keep releasing videos until they do the right thing.
benny johnson
Yeah, I mean, final question, James, but...
This does sort of seem to be something that Andrew Breitbart, who was a mentor to you, a mentor to me, is looking down from heaven and just smiling because you're doing journalism.
Back when I was growing up, 60 Minutes, you would do like a sting on a jiffy lube, right?
That was ripping off customers.
Oftentimes, the media was used as a cudgel against the powerful and the evil corporation who may be defrauding investors in the case of Twitter.
They would be loving this story and going after it, and there wouldn't be a need for Project Veritas, quite frankly.
Because they would be holding into account these companies that are fraudulent and or predatory.
But here we have a universe where not only is Project Veritas having to do the reporting itself, but that the corporate press kind of treat you like uranium-235.
Don't get too close, right?
It's radioactive.
You might get hurt.
Don't ever write Project Veritas in a headline, even if they're doing actual journalism.
What world are we entering now?
james okeefe
Yeah, it really comes down to what I wrote about in American Muckraker, my latest book.
The journalists today, I don't really think that they're doing journalism, but they call themselves journalists.
They only release information that's authorized from the powers that be.
So it has to be like an authorized statement from the Department of Justice or the FBI.
Well, the FBI confirmed this.
unidentified
Well, newsflash.
james okeefe
Fraudsters don't give you information that's often honest.
So even with what we're doing here, these videos have like 20 million views.
We have internal correspondence in Twitter, screenshots that are circulating.
I know that you tweeted out and Seth Dillon, I put on Instagram.
And mainstream media will be like, well, this is not confirmed.
Allegedly said these things.
Allegedly?
What do you mean allegedly?
So the New York Times can report according to people familiar with the matter.
I don't see any lips moving.
I don't...
I don't hear intonation.
I can't read their body language.
I don't get to see their source.
But I'm supposed to trust them by virtue of their own decree that they're trusted because they say so.
And that is the world that we're entering.
We're entering this sort of bizarre dystopian nightmare where the people that we're supposed to trust, we can't.
We can't.
And the only information that we're allowed to see is from those organs of information.
And the people that they tell us that we can't trust are actually showing us their faces.
So the bottom line is, you know, you have to, it's an autonomy versus access in journalism.
And if you want to be autonomous, I'm not going to have the people that I'm investigating like me or give me authorized statements.
You have to report information that's unauthorized.
That you don't have the permission to report.
I'm not going to get permission from the Twitter CEO to publish what I'm publishing.
But that's what journalists are supposed to do.
You're supposed to publish information they don't want published.
And this is like common sense.
It's so self-evident.
I don't even know why I need to say it.
But here I am saying it.
This is what journalists are supposed to do.
This is what journalism is supposed to be.
And hopefully, by virtue of what we are doing, we'll see more brave people inside Twitter come forward.
We already have sources inside Twitter, as I said.
benny johnson
So, I mean, in closing, James, how can people sign up?
Your work is clearly inspiring millions.
It's affecting culture in ways that we'll probably not be able to know for Decades now, but the tectonic plates move, right, when you have videos like this.
It shows truth, and you can't ever shut down truth.
And so when someone's inspired to be part of Project Veritas, what can they do?
Where can they go?
james okeefe
Well, behind my face here in my office, I'm sitting at my headquarters.
You see the motto of the organization as well as the place to go to sign up and do anything.
You could donate to our news organization.
Wear a hidden camera.
The best thing to do is share the videos, which is what you've done, and other people can click on the link that will share it in your Twitter.
But I think the image is very important.
Images of people saying these things are necessary, and they're very powerful, and they can oftentimes defeat propaganda.
But even if you don't believe in the image, and you think that that's falling out of favor...
I think courage is a commodity that's in such short supply that that will never fall out of favor.
So people on the inside of these tech companies, you better speak up.
People inside the government, I mean, you better speak up.
Like the FBI whistleblower from last week, we need brave people to to care more about what's right than their own paycheck and their pension and their and their sense of dignity and being liked by these people that they shouldn't be like.
It's not that I have a problem with people who think what they're doing is right.
I have a problem with people who know what they're doing is wrong and do it anyway.
benny johnson
All right.
Real fat, the last stinger.
Advice to Elon Musk to fix Twitter.
james okeefe
God, that's a question.
I don't know if I'm qualified to answer that.
Elon Musk seems like a smart guy.
But I do believe transparency is the most important thing.
I think that even these videos showing what they think, algorithms being made public, I'm not really a technical guy, but that strikes me as something that is probably a good public policy issue.
Show us to the extent that you can how your algorithms work so that the public has a view into that.
And if they don't show us how the algorithms work, well, then be careful, because the person that you might be speaking with might just be James O 'Keefe in drag.
All right.
benny johnson
James, thank you for being on the program.
james okeefe
Bye-bye.
benny johnson
James O 'Keefe, ladies and gentlemen, a national treasure.
James O 'Keefe is a real journalist.
James O 'Keefe is somebody who exposes the powerful and makes them uncomfortable.
And he makes the people without power...
Have a little bit of comfort in knowing that there's somebody out there who is going to publish unauthorized information.
We're very proud to call James a friend.
We encourage you to go to Project Veritas and to sign up, share their videos, donate if you wish or if you can.
But ultimately, ladies and gentlemen, this may be the most important work on the planet, what James is doing right now.
And so we support them.
And we will always use our shows and our channels to promote Truth!
That's what we do on this show.
The reason why is because we have our priorities in order.
God, family, country.
We know that we were born free men and women.
We intend to stay that way through continuing to tell true stories and continuing to expose the powerful people who want to wreck this great place for the rest of us.
It's actually really great.
It's a great country.
Let's not destroy it.
Let's keep speaking truth and exposing the powerful.
God bless all of you.
My name is Benny Johnson.
