| There were reports of Russian attacks on targets in multiple major cities in Ukraine, including Kiev, Odessa. | ||
| Shortly after the reports of explosions, President Zelensky declared martial law. | ||
| Estimates of dead and injured are almost non-existent as of the early afternoon. | ||
| One Ukrainian official said hundreds. | ||
| It came after cruise missiles guided... | ||
| By rockets, took out targets from east to west. | ||
| Airfields, military bases, ammo dumps, command posts, including in the capital. | ||
| Six Russian jets were shot out of the sky in the Donbass region. | ||
| Fifty Russian troops have been killed, Ukraine claims. | ||
| Russia claims to have neutralized Ukraine's air defense capabilities. | ||
| And shortly after these reports, martial law was implored. | ||
