Time Text
Thank you.
Thank you.
.
evening, everybody, and welcome to FOJC Radio, Friday Night Live, and we are live, live, live once again on a Friday night, once again preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of this good old flat earth.
Welcome, each and every one of you.
Welcome, new listeners, and we're so thankful for each and every one of you that will be a part of this broadcast.
Someone is going to come to Jesus tonight, and maybe more than one someones.
Now, we're going to do mail call up in here this evening.
And as always, I really appreciate each and every one of you that write to us.
And I'm so very thankful.
I really enjoy reading the letters.
And Donna gets the emails as much as she can.
And I mean, we get over 500 a day.
A lot of times, a lot more than 500 a day.
So it's a job, believe me.
But I want to give the address here if you'd like to write to me and Donna.
I read them letters.
I like those letters.
So we had one listener wrote and said, I've been listening for a long time.
This is the first time I've ever wrote.
We got thousands of people.
So be old school with me.
Write me a letter.
And if you would like to write to me and Donna, Followers of Jesus Christ, Post Office Box 671, Tell City, Indiana, 47586. And this week, we heard from Warrior Bride Ministries down in Texas,
and we also heard from Raquel down in Texas, and Raquel wrote, She says, I want to share one, maybe two more things that he has said.
Besides, he is coming and sooner than we think.
Judgment is coming to America and the world.
So much of that, I am sure you know.
And yes, I do know, Raquel.
And I enjoyed your letter so very much.
And I'm glad that you are praying for FOJC Radio.
down there in Texas and we heard from Maria in Florida and Maria wrote she says thank you for all you do your ministry is such a blessing I heeded brother David's call to sign up on rumble I was always a YouTuber,
and then she notes that YouTube will take down some stuff that should have been left up, but we know how that is.
But thank you so much, Maria.
I enjoyed your letter so very much, and I'm glad you're praying for us down in the great free state of Florida.
We heard this week from Omar from Kentucky.
We heard from Gloria in Texas, Diane in West Virginia, Heidi in North Carolina, and Phillip in Arkansas.
And as always, thank you so very much.
And we do appreciate with all of our heart all of you that pray for us and that study with us and that support us with your gifts and with your kindness.
We do appreciate it.
With all of our heart, we really, really do.
Now, our message for this evening is entitled, Call to Decision.
And we're going to begin in the book of 1 Kings.
We're going to be in the 18th chapter and the 21st verse.
And I want to thank, as always, Brian Reese.
Brian is here with me, running the controls and doing all that he does.
Bless your heart, Brian, and you'll be hearing from him before the broadcast is over.
Now, in 1 Kings 18, 21, And Elijah came unto all the people and said, How long halt ye between two opinions?
If the Lord be God, follow him.
But if Baal, then follow him.
And the people answered not a word.
Rickets.
And that's about what you get nowadays when you confront people, you know, and say, well, God's God, serve him.
But if you're gonna mix the things of the devil in with things of God, if you're gonna mix in paganism with Christianity, just go worship Baal.
You know, don't go halfway, just go worshiping.
But if God's God, let's do it right.
Let's do it right, let's stand up and speak out, and let's be those Bible Christians that the Lord Jesus Christ has called us to be.
Now, I'm going to be reading tonight several things from a book, and it's an old book.
This book is, I'll see the date on it, it's a treasure, 1853. And it was written by the Reverend James Cawhey.
And he was a Scottish evangelist that was involved in a great revival that took place in Scotland and England in the early 1800s.
And I tell you what, He is really an inspiration and a blessing to me.
And this is the title of his sermon.
It was a call to decision.
And that inspired me to echo his words and to expound and pray upon his thoughts that it is indeed a time for decision.
And decision is what brings revival.
And let's read.
I'm gonna begin by reading something he said.
He said, if there be a God who is almighty and therefore is able to save or destroy, who by one volition of his will can raise you up to heaven or sink you down to the depths of hell, who is infinite wisdom and therefore intimately acquainted with your whole history,
whose eye has marked every movement in your eventful course, Whose angel reporter has recorded in the Register Book of Heaven every moral action of your life, who is the God of justice, and therefore will one day call you up to the great Universal Tribunal.
We will all one day stand before the judgment seat of Christ, and the decision that we're talking about this evening Is the decision that will decide where you will spend eternity.
And indeed, the Lord knows you.
He knows you.
He knows me.
And in the 34th Psalm and the 7th verse, Brother Kahe talked about the angel reporters.
And in Psalm chapter 34 and verse 7, the angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
The angel of the Lord.
We have God's angels that are looking out for us.
We need to keep that in mind as we wage war in these last days.
When the things of the evil one seem to be getting stronger and stronger and greater and greater, we need to remind ourselves that the Lord omnipotent reigneth, and now is the time for us to decide to bow the knee to him and only him.
In the book of Hebrews chapter 1 and verse 13, but to which of the angels said he at any time, sit on my right hand?
Until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Last night and the night before, we came together and we prayed and we took communion and we asked God to spare the children to come in as a spoiler.
Into the plans of the evil one as this terrible dark time has just been a time of satanic revelings.
But we interceded and we prayed and I know God answered our prayers and the prayers of many as we continue to come against in the spirit this horrific demonic evil.
And it's just like and last night was a restless night.
It was not a night where slept well.
It was just a restless night.
But it's like this morning when the sun come up, the Lord just lifted a heaviness, and the sun broke through, and we can see the spiritual blessings begin to break through, and now is truly the time to decide.
It looks like the devil has so much going for him, and he does, but the Lord God omnipotent reigneth, and if you make a decision to serve Jesus Christ, I guarantee you, you will never regret it.
Brother Carl Hayes said this, if there be a hell, a place where no good will ever come, where all evil will be concentrated, where the fire will burn, the darkness of fright, the chains bind, and the deathless worm rankle,
We're overhead and all around wind will war with wind lightning flash to lightning storm how to storm and thunder mutter to thunder in sounds of solemn wrath where fiery waves We'll dash against the rocks of dark damnation and music make a melancholy sort.
There is a place of eternal damnation where it will be an eternity.
It will be eternity.
He says, where their energy is an aroused and angry God, the instruments of their torture, a lake of fire, and a guilty conscience, their tormentors, the devil and his angels, And eternity stamped upon the whole.
Think about the wicked ones.
That reveled in sacrificing and abusing a child.
It just came on the news today.
A five-year-old was raped in New York State, and that's just the one that was caught.
How many more have taken place that have not been caught?
And people that live, and there's a lot of religious people, they go to church all the time, they live a basically moral life, but you're going to spend an eternity in hell.
With these child molesters, these Satanists, the most wicked evil scourge, those will be your companions for all of eternity because you failed to decide and commit yourself to Jesus Christ and allow the Holy Spirit to come into you to allow you to have that overcoming power.
To live a life of victory for him.
Let's go to Mark chapter 9. And the person that had the most to say about hell was Jesus Christ.
And today, as you well know, there's not a whole lot said about hell.
People that preach about hell and bring it up, it's kind of a cliche.
Fire and brimstone preaching.
It's looked on as something old-fashioned, out-of-date, and that's why in this revival in the 1800s, there were some people really saved that were really born again.
Today, there's a lot more people that are made religious that are born again because they don't really believe that there's an eternal hell and in eternal heaven.
The decision that people are making is where you're going to spend eternity in a life in fellowship with Jesus Christ and the saints of God or a life in fellowship with the most evil perverted people that have ever walked this earth.
In Mark chapter 9 verse 43 let's listen to the words of our Lord Jesus Christ.
And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off.
For it is better for thee to enter into life maimed than having two hands to go into hell into the fire that shall never, that never shall be quenched.
A lot of people, they don't even believe we got the Adventist and the witnesses and even a lot of so-called mainstream Christians, and this has seeped over into the Hebrew movement because of the Adventists that have went into that.
There is no hell.
There is no eternal punishment.
This is nothing but a lie from guess where?
That's right, right from the pit of hell.
And as it's often said, the greatest trick that the devil can pull Is to get you to believe that he doesn't exist.
We have to understand that we are battling an intelligent spiritual force that has many things at its control to attack us and destroy us.
And to stop us from serving Jesus Christ effectively.
But we have the victory.
I love that to be able to do with Dan last Friday night battling witchcraft.
And that's what we've got to do.
We've got to stand up and fight.
We've got to pray.
And if we do, we're going to win because Jesus Christ is victorious.
Jesus goes on And he says, where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
And I'm not just talking about worms.
There in Gehenna, there was an actual, there was the place there where they sacrificed the little children under Moloch.
And this is the place and the word that Jesus took to describe the eternal lake of fire, Gehenna.
And you better believe that that garbage There were plenty of worms, but in the real Gehenna, the lake of fire, there are worms that are supernatural.
I tell you what, you don't want to see these worms.
We see all kinds of things that are just crazy and off the hook.
In these science fiction movies, but I tell you, these supernatural worms, they're fireproof, supernatural worms, and they will gnaw on you for all eternity if you reject our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
And not long ago, Brian and I, we did a Doctrine of Christ on, I think we called it, if you're If your right hand offend thee, Brian might put that link for you there in the chat.
But we did a DOC on the spiritual surgery on this very text.
And it says here, and what it means is, whatever is in your life, That's keeping you from serving Jesus Christ.
You need to get rid of it because it's going to take you to hell.
Think about the awful pain.
A burning yourself.
I mean, nothing hurts much worse than a burn.
But this will be a fire that will never go out.
That will never go out.
In verse 46, where their worm dieth not, and their fire is not quenched.
And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out.
It is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire, where their worm dieth not, And the fire is not quenched.
Heaven is real, my friend.
And hell is real.
And you don't want to be there.
And there's a way that you can escape eternity in hell.
And that's by choosing you this day to repent and believe the gospel and come to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who's waiting for you.
He is waiting for you to come to him.
In Revelation 21 and 8, It tells us who's going to be in that lake of fire.
But the fearful, now let's think about that for just a minute.
The cowards, the very first people that are going to be into the lake of fire are going to be the cowards.
But the fearful and unbelieving.
And so many people, they say they believe the Bible, but you don't really believe the Bible.
No, you don't.
The fearful, the unbelieving, and the abominable.
The Word of God lists the things that are abomination.
And if you would list, if we would go through and read the things that are called abomination.
People that are attending churches, they will fight with you to keep doing their abominations.
How are you going to know what an abomination is?
I challenge you, if you want to know, look what the Bible says is an abomination.
This is a serious thing and it's time to begin to take the Word of God seriously Because this is a decision on where you're going to spend eternity.
There is no greater decision than that.
The fearful, the unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
Freemasonry is something That we've spent a lot of time talking about down through the years and will continue to.
Freemasonry pretty much has its run in the apostate church.
Freemasons are pastors, they're church members.
They pretty well have free reign in almost every congregation.
They even wear, you know, I was there in Evansville, Indiana, and in an assembly of God, the Freemasons were there with their Masonic jewelry on, laying hands on people, praying for them.
Yeah.
I wonder what's being transferred in that.
Yeah.
And that's one of the many reasons why the apostate church is apostate.
Now, every time a Freemason goes into Lodge, they open with prayer to the Gayatu, the Grand Architect of the Universe.
Who is not the God of the Bible.
They spell it out in the monitor that he is the God that will save Freemasons on the basis of their Masonic works.
This is a news flash for all you Freemasons and for all you church people that are enjoying your lukewarm apostasy.
Praying to other gods is idolatry.
Now this doesn't faze many people anymore, I know.
But praying to other gods is idolatry.
This is just the beginning of the idolatry that is in Freemasonry.
In the York Rite, they actually take the name of Baal upon their lips.
In the entry into the shrine, they swear a death oath to Allah.
And I actually had a conversation With the head of the Grand Commandery of the Knights Templar in the state of Alabama, I had several conversations with this man, and he was a Methodist Sunday school teacher.
And he finally admitted to me, after I cornered him for about a half hour, that praying and swearing an oath to Allah is idolatry!
Now that's where we're at, my friends.
People don't understand that praying to other gods and swearing death oaths to other gods is idolatry.
So idolaters, they have their reign within this apostate church, and with that comes all the accoutrements of idolatry.
They pile it on, they pile it on.
It does not register with them.
But the Apostle Paul, when he was at Athens, he said that his heart was stirred because of the idolatry.
My heart is stirred this evening because of the idolatry that is being passed off as Christianity.
How about yours, my friend?
Is your heart stirred?
And I appeal to those.
That are in between two, that are halt between two opinions.
If God is God, serve Him.
Have no other gods before Him.
And if you want to mix your idolatry with the things of God, just go be an outright Baal worshiper.
Just go bow the knee at Satan's altar, because that's where you're going to spend eternity with the Satanists, the child rapers, and the very scum that walk this earth.
Revelation chapter 14. In the 14th chapter of the book of Revelation, let's look at verses 10 And 11. The same shall drink the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation, and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
This is speaking of those that are going to take the mark of the beast.
Are you ready, my friends, to resist the mark of the beast?
You're not going to be able to buy or sell.
Will you be able to hold out when your family gets hungry and when you see your kids begin to starve?
Will you sell out and take the mark?
Maybe you better decide right now that there's something you might need to do about this because it's real.
There's a real mark coming and there's a real eternal punishment in hell for all of those that allow themselves to be marked with the mark of this beast system.
And in verse 11, It says, and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever, and they have no rest day or night.
There's never an end to the pain, never an end to the torment for those that are going to mark themselves and totally align themselves with the beast system.
They have no rest day or night who worship the beast and his image.
And whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Heaven is real my friends and so is hell and right now each and every one of us we're making that decision Where?
You're going to spend eternity.
In the 25th chapter of Matthew, in the 45th verse, Then shall he say unto them on the left hand, Depart from me ye cursed into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.
There is never going to be a time when this fire goes out.
There will never be a time When there will ever be a rest from this torment, today is the day, my friends, and now is the time for a call to decision.
I want to read what Brother Cauhay said.
He preached about the reality of hell, and he preached about the reality of heaven.
This reminds me a lot.
This is in the same vein of another sermon that was written a little earlier by Jonathan Edwards, Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.
If you have never heard this sermon, well you can't hear it, well I guess there are audio versions of it out there, but you need to download this sermon and read it.
This is the way the gospel should be preached.
People have to know there's a hell to shun, there's a heaven to gain, and there's no reason for anybody To go to hell.
This is what the gospel is.
It's the call to decision for each and every one to place their faith in Christ before it's everlastingly too late.
Brother Cauhey said this, A heaven where you will wear the robe, wave the palm, and I remember on our tabernacle celebration, Sister Dawn, she was waving her palm leaf, and you're gonna wave the palm,
you're gonna occupy the mansion, sit upon the throne, join in the everlasting song, where no wish will be left unsatisfied, and where no hope And where hope will have realized her brightest visions.
If there'll be such a heaven offered, why halt between two opinions as to whether you will accept it or not?
And it's really a no-brainer, isn't it?
It's really a no-brainer.
And the only thing that is stopping people is your refusal to decide.
Don't halt between two opinions anymore.
You're not promised another day.
We live in very uncertain times.
This world's on fire.
This world is crazy, and we've got some very, very uncertain days ahead of us, don't we, my friends?
But now's the time to decide for Jesus Christ.
Jesus is real, and he wants to go with you through these perilous times and these amazing, horrific times That are so soon to be upon us.
Let's go to the 14th chapter of the Gospel of John.
John chapter 14 and those wonderful words of Christ.
What better words for us in these times to have in our mind.
Let not your heart be troubled.
Ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many mansions.
If it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you.
Jesus is actually Preparing a place for you.
Do you believe that?
Do you believe that Jesus Christ himself is getting your house ready for you, your mansion?
It's not just a house, it's a mansion.
He wants to be with you for eternity.
He wants you to spend eternity with the saints of God, to get to talk to Paul and John and Polycarp and all of the great believers.
That have lived and died for Jesus Christ.
And on the other side of that, you've got an eternity with Hitler, with Stalin, with all the child molesters and Satanists.
This is a no-brainer, my friend.
It's a call to decision tonight.
There are so many people that they think they get saved by osmosis.
They think if we just listen to enough sermons and if we just, well, I believe this about this and that about that, and if we just get all our beliefs correct, we'll be saved.
You don't get saved by osmosis.
You get saved by decision, by deciding to repent and believe the gospel.
God be merciful to me, a sinner.
Jesus Christ, I commit myself to you right now.
I confess you with my mouth as Lord.
I am ready to serve you.
I believe you died upon the cross for my sin debt, for that broken law.
Thank you, Jesus.
And in verse 3, Of the great 14th chapter of the Gospel of John, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also the real blessed hope.
is the return of our Lord Jesus at the end of this tribulation where he is going to bring that sealed and blood-brought remnant right unto his very presence.
We will be caught up with him in the air and we will meet Apontesis him and then we will accompany him back to this earth Where he will sit upon that great white throne and the judgment books will be opened.
Now is the time to decide, my friend.
There is no reason for anybody to be lost and go to hell.
Brother Carl Hayes said this.
He said, what are we to understand By halting between two opinions.
Literally, how long hop ye about on two bows?
This is a metaphor taken from birds hopping about from bow to bow, not knowing on which to settle.
Balance between opposing claims.
To halt is to stop.
To hesitate between opposite Interest.
And what a picture!
And we've all seen little birds out there.
They'll just hop here, they'll hop there, and just hop around.
This is the description of people that are spiritually undecided.
Well, I'll listen to this on the YouTube.
I think that sounded pretty good.
Well, I'll listen to this.
Now, I think I might like that better.
Now over here, have you heard this?
You know, we'll just play spin the moron on YouTube.
And we'll just, you know, it's just a big smorgasbord.
We'll nibble.
Oh, a prophet?
A prophet has a word for me?
Well, I'll go listen to the prophet.
Hop, hop, hippity hop.
This nonsense stops.
When you come to Jesus Christ, this is why we say that the doctrine of Christ is the most important thing in your life.
When you believe in Jesus and when you accept him, I'm talking about really accepting Jesus Christ and every word that he said as the truth in your life, you're going to quit being enamored with Well, let's get a word from the prophet.
Let's nibble a little here, nibble a little there.
When you really come to Jesus and you understand that it's really him you're following, and it's really his doctrine and his Holy Spirit that's leading you into truth, the hippity hop will stop.
The hippity hop will stop and that's what most of modern religion is.
It's just bird brain religion because it's just hippity hop.
People don't know what they believe.
The Bible says that in the last days people will not endure sound doctrine and when you have the doctrine of Christ you can go from I think so to I know so because we can all be wrong But Jesus can't.
And when we are saying what Jesus said, we can begin to operate in the authority of Christ and walk in the anointing of the Holy Spirit that is going to bring us into truth.
And it's also going to bring other people into truth also.
In Mark the first chapter in the 15th verse, and saying, the time is fulfilled, the kingdom of God is at hand, repent ye, And believe the gospel.
Repentance means that you know you're a sinner.
Romans 3.23 says, For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Ezekiel 18 and 4 says, The soul that sinneth, it shall die.
Romans 6.23 says, For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The scripture tells us that sin is the transgression of the law.
We have all broken God's law, therefore we stand guilty before the judgment bar of God and the only thing that will save us that day if we have repented and covered our sins in the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
In the book of James, let's look at the book of James chapter 2 And let's look at verse 19 and 20. Thou believest that there is one God, thou doest well.
The devils also believe and tremble.
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
And when you come to Jesus Christ, And put your faith in Him.
The Bible says that old things are passed away.
Behold, all things become new.
You're going to be different.
You're going to have a desire to do right instead of wrong.
That's the only way that we can serve God.
We have to have that supernatural change.
I'm not talking about being I'm not talking about starting out believing this or that, but I'm talking about a real repentance of sin whereby we turn to Christ as sacrifice for our sins.
We pray that prayer.
We make that commitment.
We decide to pray that prayer.
We decide to repent and believe the gospel.
So many people out there are depending on osmosis salvation, Don't wait any longer.
Make sure that you are right with God.
It's time to decide.
This is a call to decision.
Romans chapter 10 and verse 9. One of the most precious salvation texts.
And by the way, welcome to FOJC Radio, Friday Night Live.
Welcome all of our new listeners.
Welcome to everybody that Is a part of this broadcast tonight.
We just appreciate y'all very much.
Romans chapter 10 verse 9. That if thou shalt confess, and that means to speak openly, to speak openly about your relationship with Christ and your faith in his words, and that brings to mind another text here.
Thank you.
The eighth chapter, if thou shalt confess and it says in Mark 8 38, whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words, those little red letters folks, in this adulterous and sinful generation of him also shall the son of man be ashamed when he cometh in the glory of his father with the holy angels.
Are you going to be ashamed of Jesus?
Are you going to be ashamed of what he said?
That the tares are coming out before the wheat when you're in your little rapture church?
Are you going to be ashamed of Jesus?
Are you going to go along with people teaching just the exact opposite?
Now's the time to decide.
Now's the time to decide whether you're going to confess Jesus or whether you're going to be ashamed of him.
And stop hopping between bow, one bow and another.
If you think that Jesus is wrong, You might as well just go worship Baal.
You might as well go down and just find that old Baphomet statue and just go down and just give it a big smooch.
This is a serious thing.
And in John chapter 12 verse 47, And if any man hear my words and believe not, I judge him not.
For I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
He that rejecteth me and receiveth not my words.
Are you going to receive Jesus' words?
When he says something, are you going to believe it?
Or when some little jack-legged Johnny in a fancy suit in a TV show tells you something different, are you going to follow after that?
Are you going to deny the words of Jesus so you can go along and get along with some little social club?
You can do that, but I'm here to warn you, the words of Jesus, how you're going to be judged when you're going to stand before that great white throne, He that rejecteth me and receiveth not my words hath one that judgeth him.
The word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
For I have not spoken of myself, but the Father which sent me.
He gave me a commandment, what I should say and what I should speak.
Every word that Jesus spoke, they were the words.
that the father gave him to speak.
Romans 10 9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, that means that he is Lord and you are a servant.
You are a servant and you are a slave.
You're a bondservant.
And in the old covenant, it talked about the bondservant, that if you served as a slave for so many years, if you loved your master, that you could go and you could stand against the wall.
And that little hanging down part of the ear, You could put that hangy down part of the ear against the wall and they would drive your ear through with an awl and you could be a voluntary bond slave for life.
Well, my friends, let me tell you, I have found a good master.
I have found the master whose yoke is easy and his burden is light.
He is the friend that will stick with you closer than a brother.
He will never leave you or forsake you.
He is there with you.
Until the very end of this world and then you will be with him forever.
It's time my friends to confess Jesus as Lord because he is the master with the yoke that is easy and the burden that is light and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved for with the heart Man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
We confess him.
We confess him as Lord.
I want to read what John Wesley had to say about Romans 10 and 9. He said, if thou confess with thy mouth, even in time of persecution, when such a confession may send thee to the lions, we will confess Jesus.
We must make our mind right now that even when they are forcing us to do things we cannot do, we have to confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and if we will be true to him, he is going To take care of us.
Yes, he will.
He will never leave you, nor forsake you.
John Gill had this to say on Romans chapter 10 and verse 9. But of confession of Christ, as appears from the preceding verse, which lies in a frank and open acknowledgement of what Christ is in Himself,
as that He is truly and properly God, the Son of God, and the true Messiah, the mediator between God and man, and the only Savior of lost sinners, and of our faith in Him.
With respect to ourselves, to our pardon, justification, acceptance, and salvation in Him through Him, in ascribing the whole of our salvation to Him, and giving Him the glory of it, in declaring to the churches of Christ what He has done for our souls,
and in subjecting ourselves to His ordinances, This confession must be made both by words and facts, must be open, visible, and before men, and also real, hearty, and sincere, the words of the mouth agreeing with the experience of the heart, and such a good profession made before God, angels, and men, highly becomes all that believe with the heart.
This was the practice.
of the primitive saints.
When the early Christians, they were brought before Caesar and they had, once a year, they had to come under the magistrate.
They had to burn incense on an altar and say, Caesar is Lord.
Many of them, many of them, thousands of them refused to do that and they died being ripped apart by lines, being burned alive.
It is just amazing the saints of God that would confess Jesus Christ as Brother Gill said the primitive saints do and today So many people, they don't have the Holy Spirit of boldness.
Proverbs 28 and 1 says the righteous are bold as a lion, but they're tongue-tied and their mouths are shut, and they need a little fire of the Holy Ghost that's going to loose their tongue and give them the Holy Ghost power to stand up and be a witness.
For our Lord Jesus Christ.
In Acts chapter 2 and the 36th verse, Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God hath made the same Jesus whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Yes, house of Israel.
Let all the house of Israel know that only those that have faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, only those belong.
To the Israel of God, praise His holy name.
In the book of Hebrews, in the book of Hebrews chapter 2, Hebrews chapter 2 and the 14th verse.
For as much then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same, that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death.
That is the devil.
And through the death of Christ, death loses its hold on us.
When our heart stops beating and our eyes close for the last time, our soul and our spirit will go into the presence of God, there to be with Him forever.
And probably the most important thing that I could share with anyone this evening Is this very thing.
I want to read from S.A. Keene.
And this is a book that I really love.
This book called Faith Papers.
And he wrote this.
Even this book was written.
This is an old book.
And not as old as some of mine.
1919. Now that's a pretty old book.
But Brother Keene said this.
Faith being the exercise of the power we possess to believe God's word.
Now, just think about that for a moment.
You have the ability to believe the Bible or not believe the Bible.
There are people that say now, the book of Genesis, it's all fairy tales, there wasn't no flood with Noah, that the Red Sea didn't really part.
You can choose to believe the Bible Or you can choose to believe people that tell lies about the Bible.
You can actually choose what you believe.
And if you choose to believe the Bible, there are multitudes and multitudes of reasons and facts to back up this blessed book that it is indeed true in the Word of God.
Faith being the exercise of the power we possess.
to believe God's Word.
It is a voluntary act.
You can choose to believe the Bible or not.
And I think of all of the people That are caught up in homosexuality and lesbianism.
They have choosed and they're gambling their entire soul on the fact that the Bible's a lie.
Because the Bible says very clearly where the end of that lifestyle will get you an eternity in hell.
And people can choose to do what they want to do, but you're gambling that that Bible's a lie.
And I tell you what, that's a very big gamble for you folks to take.
You need to rethink You need to rethink your decision because your decision is not a wise one.
It says the soul must recognize that it can believe.
This is the epiphany that needs to come to people in your soul right now.
You can believe.
You have the power within you to exercise faith in God's Word.
Or to reject it.
You have the ability to believe the words of Jesus or reject it.
If you believe what Jesus said is truth, I guarantee you, it won't be peace, it'll be a sword.
If you're in most assemblies in America, and indeed probably in much of the world, if you really stand for the things Jesus said, you're going to be shown the door.
And I know as many of you already have been, But you can choose to believe Jesus, and I'm here to tell you today that if you do, there will be a price tag.
There will be a cost.
It could be your very life, as it was for many of the early believers.
It says the soul must recognize that it can believe, must choose to believe, must say, I will believe.
This is a decision that in your soul In your soul, which contains your emotions, your mind, your thinking ability.
You are a rational creature with free will and you can choose to believe.
You can choose to believe the gospel right now.
You can choose to repent.
You can choose to allow Jesus Christ to come in and change your life in a heartbeat.
He is willing and he is ready to do that.
He goes on to say, and this is so good, faith is believing God.
Doubt is believing Satan.
And you know, and that's what it is, isn't it?
If you believe God, and if you believe what's in the Bible, that's faith.
And if you don't, if you doubt the Word of God, you're believing Satan.
This is it in its most simplistic Demarcation.
You're either going to believe God or you're going to believe the devil.
Everything in this world makes a mockery of the Word of God.
It will give you all kinds of watered down apostate variations that will try to turn you from the Word.
If you say, oh, I believe in the Bible, well, Satan says, well, that's fine.
Here, try one of mine.
And he'll get you in some apostate Bible that's going to rip the heart.
Out of so much that's important that we believe.
Believe God.
Choose to believe God.
Choose to believe Jesus and do not turn from him to the right hand or to the left.
Brother Keen goes on and he says this.
He said whatever seeking soul needs most to know is that it can believe unto salvation if it wills.
If you're out there tonight And you've not made the decision, the most important thing for you to know is that you can.
You can decide.
You can decide right now.
You can choose to believe.
You can cry out and say, God be merciful to me, a sinner.
He says, you may at once begin to sing, I can, I will, I do believe that Jesus saves me now.
We are saved by faith.
By grace are you saved through faith.
And that faith has to have a starting point.
And it starts with our faith in Jesus Christ.
In the Gospel of John.
In the Gospel of John chapter 1. John chapter 1 and verse 4, it says in him was life and the life was the light of men.
And in the ninth verse, it says that was the true light which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
Jesus Christ It gives everyone a conscience.
Everyone that is born, I don't care if you're a little Muslim baby or a Hindu baby, that baby is born with a conscience.
And they all have that same general understanding of what is right and what is wrong.
That little baby, every child, whether it's whatever it is, until it reaches the age of accountability, it is safe in the arms of Jesus.
But we are given a light from Jesus Christ, and that light enables each and every one of us to believe.
And in Exodus chapter 25, Under the first covenant, there is such a perfect picture of the salvation in Christ in Exodus, the 25th chapter and beginning in the 17th verse.
And thou shalt make a mercy seat.
It's a mercy seat.
It's not a judgment seat.
There will be a judgment seat one day, but right now there is a mercy seat that we can all come to.
And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold.
Two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work, shalt thou make them in the two ends of the mercy seat.
And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end, even of the mercy seat.
Shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof?
And the cherubim shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings.
And their faces shall look one to another toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.
And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark.
And in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee, and there will I meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.
And every day, or once a year, on that great day of atonement, This is when the high priest went in and he would sprinkle the blood upon the mercy seat of that sacrifice.
This, of course, was a type of Jesus Christ that would one day be the Lamb of God that would take away the sin of the world.
And when the high priest would enter into that most holy place on the Day of Atonement, And sprinkle the blood on the mercy seat.
The Lord would commune with him there.
It says in the scriptures that God talked with Moses as a man that talked with another face to face.
Well, I'm here to tell you this evening that Jesus loves you.
He wants to spend time with you.
He wants you to find time out of your busy day to just spend a little time with Him.
Romans 3.25, Jesus is now our mercy seat.
He is our propitiation.
Romans 3.25, that's a big $10 word, and what that literally means is the blood that is shed To make atonement whom God, Romans 3 and 25, whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are passed through the forbearance of God.
Jesus is Our mercy seat.
And when we place our faith in Jesus Christ, and when we believe and accept that his death on the cross was payment for our sin debt, we have access unto him.
Hebrews 4 and 16, Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help In time of need, it's the throne of grace.
Have you messed up?
That's all right.
This is the throne of grace.
Grace has forgiveness.
Grace has cleansing because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
As 1 John 1 and 9 says, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just.
To forgive us our sins, Brother Carl Hayes said this, He said, and here you are still halting.
How long halt ye?
The interest of your undying spirit cry, decide.
Fleeting time calls upon you to decide.
The tragic scenes of Calvary as it rocks the slumbering universe cry, decide.
A voice comes down from the upper sanctuary and says, decide, and muffle the groans of millions of damned souls and the muffled groans of millions of damned souls cry to you, decide.
How long?
Halt ye.
Between two opinions, we just had our very successful Choose You This Day campaign.
It's time to decide.
It's time to decide whether you're going to serve God or the devil.
It's time to decide where you're going to spend eternity.
It's time to decide.
Joel, the third chapter, and I want to begin in the 13th verse.
And Joel the prophet gives us a very, very clear picture of what most of mankind and most of humanity is like right at this very moment.
Joel chapter 3 and verse 13 says, It says, put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe.
And it is truly now, there's going to be a harvest, my friends.
There's going to be things coming upon this earth where many people are going to take their lives, but there's many people that are going to remember the gospel of Jesus Christ and they're going to cry out in their desperation and in their agony.
Lord Jesus, save me, and God is going to be merciful, and he's going to reap and harvest on this old earth.
The darker things get, the more people's ears are going to be open to the truth of the Bible and the truth of Jesus Christ.
Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe.
Come, get you down, for the press is full, and the fat's overflowing.
For their wickedness is great.
There's going to be a harvest of souls and there's also going to be a harvest of judgment.
Look at verse 14. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision.
For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.
This is where Much of mankind rests this evening in the valley of decision.
You know, you can be an undecided voter.
That won't send you to hell.
But if you're undecided about Jesus Christ, it can.
People out there in the valley of decision, I'm talking to you this evening.
Many of you know the Bible's real.
And you have this thought, well, someday, somehow, I'll pray before or die or whatever you got in your head.
Today is the day of salvation.
Now is the time.
The millions of people that are out there in the valley of decision, stop hopping around like a little bird from one thing to another.
Stop playing spin the moron on YouTube.
Come to Jesus Christ.
Stop following men and come to the man.
And when you accept Jesus Christ and you begin to believe what he said, you will find yourself a friend That is closer than a brother.
Yes, you will.
In 2 Corinthians chapter 6, and this is that text that I alluded to, in 2 Corinthians In the sixth chapter and the second verse, for he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I secured thee.
Behold, now is the accepted time.
Behold, now.
is the day of salvation.
Undecision is not an option, my friends.
You need to decide this day whom you're going to serve and where you're going to spend eternity.
And the great thing about it is you can.
You can decide right now To place your faith in Jesus Christ, in Proverbs 27 and 1, it says, boast not thyself of tomorrow, for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
Isn't that the truth?
This is true in all of our individual lives.
We don't know when our life is going to end.
Even young people many times die untimely and tragic deaths, and with the uncertainty in our world, it's time, it's time, it's time to get right with Jesus.
In Job chapter 7 and verse 6, My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle and are spent without hope.
And our days go by so fast, don't they?
It seems like now maybe it's just me, but time is just flying.
Time is just flying by.
I tell you what, it seems like yesterday I was 20 years old, but those days are decades gone.
And all of us, we have a certain amount of time allotted on life, and only the things we do for Jesus are going to stand.
And I want to read something else that Brother Cahay said here.
He said, The influence of the Spirit of God on the mind This may seem strange, but we think it will be evident to you.
The Spirit of God is not directly but indirectly the cause.
He produces such effects on the head and heart by the doctrines of the Bible that the sinner is made to see his position, to see the awful future, and to see the consequences of moving on in that direction, to see hell.
At the end of the path.
And that's the reason, isn't it?
The reason why there are churches full of religious people, but not of people that are born again.
The biblical doctrines are not taught.
That is why we preach and emphasize doctrine here at FOJC, and true biblical doctrine will cause you to live right, do right, believe right, and to make the right decisions.
And always, now is the time.
Stop playing the little bird hippity hop up in here.
And I know that I'm speaking to the choir for many of our listeners, but I know that many people that listen to this message tonight, I will be speaking unto those that are still in the valley of decision.
Romans chapter 10 verse 17. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
If we are faithful to put out the word of God, that's why every broadcast on FOJC, you're gonna get scripture, scripture, scripture, and it will not return void.
God will honor His word.
And when we can put out the Word of God rightly divided, the Spirit of God will form right beliefs in people.
You will think right.
You will believe, yes, there is a heaven.
Yes, there is a hell.
Both are eternal.
And that what we decide about Jesus Christ is going to determine where we spend eternity.
Isaiah chapter 55 and verse 11, it says, Isaiah 55 and 11, So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth.
It shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereunto I sentence.
And God's word It has an effect.
My words have little effect.
I can be used as an instrument to put the Word of God out with an anointing, but it's the Word of God.
And if we will be faithful in putting out the Word of God, the Bible, the Bible, the Bible, that will get a hold of men and women, and it will cause them to make decisions that are right.
The Holy Spirit will begin to move upon you, and it will say to you in your heart of heart, that's the truth.
That's the truth and now is the time.
That I've got to make a change.
In John chapter 16, verses 7 and 8, Nevertheless, I tell you the truth, and he always does.
It is expedient for you that I go away.
For if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you.
But if I depart, I will send him unto you.
And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment.
And it's the Holy Spirit of God That will bring conviction upon you.
It's the Holy Spirit of God that will let you know what's true and what is false.
Brother Carl Hay said this, man is a free agent.
What is that, says one?
I answer, he has a power to choose or reject.
There is a consciousness within you that you possess this power, and all the reasoning in the world cannot make a thing more clear to you Than the consciousness.
I can lift up my right hand and wave it.
I can lift up my left hand and wave it.
I can pat my head and if I didn't have to hold my book, I can pat.
Lookie there, I can pat my head and rub my tummy at the same time.
And I can even switch hands.
I can do what I want to do and you can too.
We have the power of free will and now It's the time to choose.
He says the Great Spirit, the Glorifier of Christ, the third person in the Trinity comes to you not to drag and compel you to be saved, but he gently takes hold of your free agency and leads you up to Calvary to view the claims of a dying Savior and says yield.
And you know you have the power to refuse or obey.
The power of Calvary's cross cries out to us all this evening, yield, yield, believe in Jesus Christ and what he did for you on the cross.
That word yield Is a very important word, isn't it?
And you know, when you yield, it's just like a tug of war.
When you've got two groups pulling on a rope and a tug of war and finally one group just gives up and lets goes and lets the other side win.
Well there's a lot of people you're in a tug of war with God and you just need to let go.
You just need to yield.
You need to stop fighting.
You need to stop resisting.
You need to stop quenching the Holy Spirit and resisting the Holy Spirit and let the Lord have his way with you.
In Romans chapter 6 Beginning in the 16th verse, know ye not that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants are your, excuse me, let me read that again.
Know ye not that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom you obey.
We know that, don't we?
Whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness.
You can yield.
You know, the devil is pulling on you and you can yield to him and the Holy Spirit is pulling on you and you can yield to him and don't you know that whoever you yield to that's who your daddy is?
Who's your daddy?
Well, your daddy is whoever you yield to and we have the ability to yield to Jesus Christ.
It says in verse 17 But God be thanked that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine.
2 John 9, if any man have not the doctrine of Christ, you don't have God.
And a lot of them say, well, that ain't what Paul said.
Paul didn't believe that.
Well, I beg your pardon.
1 Timothy 6, verse 3, if any man teach otherwise, this is Paul now, And consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ.
That means that you agree to them.
You consent to them.
What does Paul say?
And to the doctrine which is according to godliness, that's that same form of doctrine, That Paul was talking about in Romans 6. He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and stripes of words, whereby cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings.
Forverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, the bottom line is, When Jesus Christ says something, you say amen.
You don't argue with him.
And the minute you argue with Christ and put something else in place of what Jesus said, the spirit of Antichrist has got a hold of you.
Now's the time to yield to Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit will bring everything to your remembrance of the things which Jesus said.
I've got to read another scripture in the 14th chapter of John in the 26th verse.
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance.
Whatsoever I have said unto you.
The Holy Ghost will bring back to you what Jesus said, and to remember something, it might be good for you to read your Gospels.
Yes, that's right, because if we will put the words of Jesus within us, the Holy Ghost will have something to work on to bring the words of Jesus back to our mind, I gotta read another scripture in John, the 15th chapter, in the 7th verse.
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you.
To the words of Jesus, I'm not talking about some abstract philosophical theological belief, but to his words, the red letters, abide in you.
The same ones in the 8th chapter of Mark, Jesus said, if you're ashamed of me and my words, I'll be ashamed of you.
I'm talking about following the man instead of man this evening.
Make a decision to follow Jesus.
If ye abide in me and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
The key to answered prayer is the words of Jesus Christ Abiding in you.
And I want to read that text.
That text, this is one of them invisible scriptures.
You won't hear that very often.
But in 2 John chapter 9, you know, well, does it matter what I believe?
I think that what Jesus said on the Sermon on the Mount, well, that's for Israel during the millennial reign.
And I'll believe this and you believe that.
Really?
2 John chapter 9, whosoever transgresseth and abideth not the doctrine of Christ hath not God, and yes, that even means Dallas Theological Seminary, he that abideth in the doctrine of Christ he hath both the Father and the Son.
According to the Apostle John, according to the Apostle Paul, if you don't consent to the words of Jesus Christ, you're proud in knowing nothing because the very minute anyone Claims to contradict Jesus Christ.
You are the most arrogant little snip that ever sucked air down your arrogant pride little lungs.
In Hebrews the sixth chapter.
In the sixth chapter of the book of Hebrews.
Hebrews chapter six.
And let's look at the first verse.
Hebrews chapter 6 and verse 1. Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, and that doesn't mean that you forget them, that means you start with the doctrine of Christ and then you build on it.
If you have the doctrine of Christ and you know what Jesus said, then you're ready to understand all of the Bible and even the Holy Spirit will teach you of all things.
Let us go on unto perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God.
I want to read what Adam Clark had to say about that text.
Adam Clark said this, He said, let us be carried on to this perfection.
And what this speaks of, there's a power.
It's like an updraft.
If you're a born-again child of God, you've got an updraft.
It says, let us go on to perfection.
God is ever ready by the power of His Spirit to carry us forward to every degree of light, life, and love necessary to prepare us for an eternal weight of glory.
There can be little difficulty in attaining the end of our faith, The salvation of our souls from all sin if God carry us forward to it.
Remember that word yield.
There's a force that's pulling on you to come closer to Christ, to become more obedient.
It's a spiritual updraft.
Yield!
Let go of that rope and let the Father pull you up into His glorious presence by faith In our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
In the book of 2 Kings, in the book of 2 Kings, let's go to the seventh chapter, and let's read a little bit.
Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord.
Thus saith the Lord, tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel and two measures of barley for a shekel in the gate of Samaria.
And this word came forth in the time of a deep famine where, you know, God is the God.
That can provide for his people in time of famine.
And God is the God that can give people enough common sense to prepare in what they need to do to have a little common sense.
In verse 2 it says, Then a Lord, on whose hand the king leaned, answered the man of God and said, Behold, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, might this thing be?
And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes.
But thou shalt not eat thereof.
That man didn't believe the prophetic word and he died because of it.
But there were four lepers that did.
In verse 3 it says, and there were four leprous men at the entering into the gate and they said one to another, why sit we here until we die?
They made a choice to believe the word of the prophet They went into the gate and they shot Shirley.
Here we are, we're unclean.
If we walk in through that gate, they'll surely kill us.
But they believed God and they went in and they found food there to satisfy their souls.
Why sit you there till you die?
There's many people that listen to us And I don't know what it is.
I know there's people, whether I'm just that entertaining, but they don't seem to take it really serious to really make the decisions they need to make.
This is serious.
Why sit you here until we die?
Now is the day of salvation.
Now is the day for the saints of God to make the decisions they need to make to prepare for the days ahead.
Why sit you there till ye die?
Do not die in the valley of decision.
Come out of that valley of decision and come into the light of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.
The word of God will never fail you.
The word of God will never fail you.
Don't sit till you die, but move in the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Let's go back To the chapter we began in 1 Kings 18. We began with the 21st verse with Elijah calling people to choose who to believe and to stop,
you know, to choose who you're going to serve and to stop hopping around like a little bird going from limb to limb.
And it says here, we'll pick it up in verse 23, 18-23, it says here, Let them therefore give us two bullocks, and let them choose one bullock for themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under.
And I will dress the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under.
And ye call on the name of your gods, and I will call on the Lord.
And the God that answereth by fire let him be God.
And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.
And I will challenge the prophets of Baal this evening We serve the God that answers by fire.
If you choose Jesus Christ, I promise you, if you repent and believe the gospel, you will have peace in your soul.
The fire of God, Romans 5 and 1, Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
God will answer by fire.
He will give you peace.
He will give you joy.
He will put an end to the anguish of spirit.
He will send the Holy Spirit into your life.
It's real.
Jesus is real.
The Holy Spirit is real.
And if you turn to Him in true faith and repentance, call upon the name of the Lord, you will find out that you're serving the God that will answer you by fire.
And down in verse 27, And it came to pass that Elijah mocked them and said, cry aloud for he is a god and mocking Baal.
Either he is talking or he is pursuing or he is in a journey or peradventure he sleepeth and must be awakened.
Yeah, where's Baal at?
Maybe he's taking a little nap.
Maybe he's down there by the Baphomet statue taking a little nap.
Well, let me tell you what, we serve the God that is the God that answers by fire.
Satan is the one that comes to steal and kill and destroy.
With Jesus Christ, one of the greatest things that Jesus does, he takes away our guilt.
Sin brings guilt.
Sin brings shame and Jesus Christ brings forgiveness.
Psalm 103, 12. A lot of people are vicious.
People are vicious.
If you make a mistake, they'll never forgive you.
They will beat you up for it.
They will condemn you for it.
Psalm 103.12, as far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
With Jesus Christ is forgiveness.
With Jesus Christ is peace.
He is the God that will answer you by fire.
Brother Callhay said this, You know, and what the devil will tell you, I've been too bad.
I've gone too far.
I've done too much.
Well, let me tell you, you haven't.
Brother Carl Hayes said this, you can say, God be merciful to me, a sinner.
You can do all this.
And I ask, do you think?
Were you to do so sincerely?
Would the blessed God repel you from his throne?
No, he will cast out none.
Now this is just what the Spirit of God has been trying to do with you.
This is the point to which he has been trying to bring you, to bring you to Christ.
And in John the sixth chapter and the 37th verse, Jesus said, All that the Father giveth me shall come to me, and to him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
Will you come to Jesus this evening?
You that don't know him, will you come to Jesus?
Will you come right now and say, God, be merciful to me, a sinner.
I repent of my sins and I believe the gospel.
All of you out there that are in the valley of decision, you've known very well things that you have needed to do to get your life right and move forward.
Will you make that decision tonight?
Will you come out of the valley of decision into the glorious light of the gospel of Jesus Christ?
Choose you this day, today.
It's the day of salvation.
And I'm going to read.
This is a little prayer that we have.
Donna wrote this.
And it's on the back of our ministry card.
And you know, always the best way is just to pray from your heart.
But I understand a lot of times it's hard to pray.
So I'm going to read this prayer.
And for anyone that would like to pray it with us, you can do that.
It says, Father God, I know I have been living my life without your help.
Break my stubborn will and help me to follow you.
Please forgive me for my sins.
I believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay the price for my sins.
Teach me your ways and fill me with your Holy Spirit so that I can serve you for the rest of my life.
By my faith in what Jesus did on the cross, I believe I am justified or made right with you.
As I read your holy bible, help me to follow your commandments and the doctrine of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for loving me and forgiving me.
I give myself totally to you.
In Jesus name I pray.
Amen.
And if you prayed that prayer and believe it from your heart that God raised Christ from the dead, you can say, I know and I believe that Jesus saves me now.
And if you made that decision, Write me a letter.
Write me a letter at Followers of Jesus Christ, Post Office Box 671, Tell City, Indiana, 47586. Email us.
Get a hold of us somehow.
Let us know.
And we are certainly going to pray for you.
Well, with that, we are going to draw to our close, our broadcast this evening, as always.
With great thankfulness to all of you.
And I'm going to have my great friend and co-worker Brian Reese to come on and let you know about some of the things that are coming up on FOJC Radio.
Brian, come on.
Thank you, Brother David.
What a good message it was, like always, here on FOJC on Friday Night Live.
And thank you all for always being here attentively, coming here on Friday night with us this evening.
But guess what?
Like always on Spiritual Warfare Friday, Dan Badondi at 9 p.m.
Eastern Time and 8 p.m.
Central Time is going to be coming up here in, what, 30 minutes?
Spiritual Warfare Friday is going to be talking about Kamala Harris, all that good stuff.
So give him a like, give him a share, check it out on the Spiritual Warfare Friday side.
But guess what?
Tomorrow...
Me and Brother David's going to be back.
We've got a busy weekend.
Super busy weekend.
We're going to be...
Well, I'm honored to be part of the Midnight Ride once again.
But also, Jillian Stone will be with us.
And Brother David, like always, will be attending with us on the Midnight Ride tomorrow night at 11 p.m.
Eastern, 10 p.m.
Central Time.
It's the Druids and their connection to the ancient giants, the Nephilim.
One of my favorite topics is the Nephilim, and I know David enjoys that too.
So I'm looking forward to the Druids connection and all that good stuff.
So it's going to be a really interesting ride.
So hit that notification bell.
Share this thing out as far as on the NACTV side and the Spiritual Warfare Friday.
But guess what?
Anticipation.
It's a night.
I made an announcement like a year ago, I think, David.
I think it was when we used to do Rumble together all the time.
It's been about a year.
We were supposed to do a Star Fort program on the Sunday Night Live, and this Sunday night, 8 p.m.
Eastern, 7 p.m.
Central, we are going to present, finally...
A Star Fork program on FOJC Underground Church on our Sunday Night Live program.
We're going to be live, live, live like always.
I'm looking really forward to that.
And then if I have another announcement, we're going to be always presenting a Season 2 episode on the Doctrine of Christ channel.
If you haven't got an opportunity to subscribe to that channel, it'll be up.
It's underneath the description below of this video.
Check it out on Monday night.
But if David wants me, we're going to have a special thing.
We've got a special thing tomorrow.
I've almost forgot.
A special thing tomorrow.
We're going to present something new.
We're going to make it a surprise.
I don't know if David wants me to announce it, but we're going to have a surprise.
Go ahead.
Okay.
Go ahead.
Okay.
So, Brother David, me and him collaborated on this idea, and I said, David, everybody's always asking, how many books do you have?
You're well-known of all these books, this library and all these different things.
You've got thousands of books.
So, I kind of got the gears turning, got the excitement, got the motor running, so we are going to present a new little series coming on FOJC Underground Church.
It's going to be Brother David.
It's going to be highlighted, and he's going to be doing book reviews.
Book reviews.
So, tomorrow, keep an eye out.
I'm going to plug in a first book review, and it's going to be on Baron Trump and all that good stuff.
We're going to do two of those.
Saturday's one, and Sunday's going to be the second one, all before the election and everything.
So keep an eye out for that, because around 12 p.m., it'll be 11 Central, 12 p.m.
Eastern tomorrow, I'm going to plug it in on the FOJC Underground Church.
So keep an eye out for that.
You won't want to miss it.
Drop a like, share it out, because Brother David and me are really excited about it, especially with his book review segments.
I hope you all enjoy it, because...
I'm just thankful to run it with him and let David speak about his books and all the knowledge he has on it.
But it's going to be Barron Trump.
We're going to be talking about time travel and all kinds of good things when it goes down that rabbit hole, that 100 and something plus year book back in the day.
So we got that all going on.
Don't miss that out.
Don't miss it.
And I think I might have announced everything.
David, did I miss something?
Well, probably, but it sounds good to me, Brian.
We probably did.
We got so much going on.
But yeah, and absolutely, tonight, Dan is going to have a couple friends of mine on there.
I know these folks, and I love them very much and appreciate them.
And it's going to be a good, good broadcast on Spiritual Warfare Friday.
I'm going to have to watch it again.
I'm going to have to watch it.
And I want to say, too, these book reviews were done.
This one is so timely.
And I know many of you know, but these Baron von Trump books, they were written in the late 1800s.
And the second book review is going to be about the last president.
And there are so many similarities between this and Mr. Trump.
It's uncanny.
And it says that there's going to be a president elected.
That will cause such riots that our nation will be destroyed and that that person will be the last president.
And then it talks about the cult that will come to power in our nation.
It's really, really something and it's very timely.
So you join us for that.
But we're just so thankful for each and every one of you that is joining us.
It's our heart to preach the gospel to the whole world.
Thank you.
And just God bless you all.
We love you.
And I'm just going to say from each of us here at FOJC Radio, to all of you, God bless you and a big high five and good night, everybody.
Until next week, 6 p.m.
Central on Friday Night Live on FOJC Underground Church.
God bless y'all, everybody.
