And I stood upon the sand of the sea and saw a beast rise up.
Rise up.
Who is able to make war with him?
The sea and the sea and the sea.
The sea and the sea.
Good evening, everybody, and welcome once again to The Midnight Ride.
I am your host, David Carrico, and I am here in the Now You See TV studios with my co-host, John Pounders.
Tonight, we're going to be bringing a presentation entitled, Assault on the Holy Word, the lying pen of the scribes.
And tonight we're going to be allowing you to peek behind the curtain to get a real good look at the architects of apostasy that are behind much of the problems that we're dealing with today in so many ways.
So we're going to make sure that at the fork in the road.
We go through the straight and narrow gate instead of the yellow brick road.
So get your map ready, get your compasses, because we are now live live live.
What's up everybody?
Exciting to be here.
Man, it's always a blessing to do the midnight ride.
My favorite time of the week and always a blessing to do with you, David.
Well, it is the same for me.
There's been a lot of prayer gone into this and it's just like It is just a great joy for me.
I'm the same way.
And I feel best, better now than I ever do, sitting right here with you doing the Midnight Ride.
It's kind of like we're meant to do this.
I think so.
I think we definitely are fit for it anyway.
Maybe, maybe not.
Maybe we're not, but we're doing it anyway.
Ready or not, here we come anyway.
Exactly, yeah.
Tonight, before we get started, as David said, the show is this is going to be a really interesting one and really a foundational one that I think every believer should hear and should understand and should care about, you know, because really up to about Six months ago myself, I did not care about this subject, nor did I even visit the subject because I was under the impression, a lot of different impressions that were not correct.
And I'm thankful that I got a chance to look into the subject and you guys will be too.
But before we get started, I'd like to hear a word from our sponsors.
We'll be right back.

We take this seriously because we know you could be anywhere else right now, but you're here with us.
Some people in all different parts of the world, everywhere from here in the United States all the way to Iran.
We have people listening all over the world and we're thankful.
And anyways, stay tuned.
This is going to be awesome.
David, let's go.
Yeah, and we literally have people listening to The Midnight Ride tonight that could be arrested for listening to The Midnight Ride.
So we're very honored, and we do take it very seriously every time we get the opportunity to speak the truth of God into your life.
Now, we're going to preface our study tonight with three scriptures to help put in perspective.
I'm going to put forth a challenge to the Truth Squad tonight, in Isaiah 5 and 20.
Woe unto them that call evil good and good evil, that put darkness for light and light for darkness, that put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.
Now that's something no child of God wants to do, to call things good and promote them that are actually evil.
And in Hebrews 5 14, But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
The children of God are capable of discerning good from evil.
That's the challenge that I want to put forth to this Truth Squad.
Turn your Discern-O-Meter on, and we're going to give you facts that you can verify and facts that we need to be discerning about.
And in 1 Corinthians 12 and 10, it says, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another diverse kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
And tonight, We, I want you all to pray about discerning the spirits that are driving the lying pen of the scribes.
There are so many things that people throw at us that we don't have the basic information to really know whether people are telling us the truth or not.
But we can discern the spirits that are driving doctrines and individuals.
So with that, We're going to take a look at some of these scribes.
Now, we're going to begin with this individual here.
His name is Brooks Foss Westcott.
He lived from 1825 to 1901.
He became professor of divinity at Cambridge University in 1870.
in 1870.
And in 1881, in conjunction with John Anthony Hort and other people, they produced the 1881 Westcott and Hort biblical text.
Now, a lot of people don't understand that this is not a Bible translation in English.
This is the Greek text that Bibles are translated from.
We're talking about a new Greek text that has become the basis for virtually all of these modern translations.
One of his big things in his life was the study of the Sacred Books of the East.
This is a huge 50-volume set that contains the most prominent works of Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism, and he believed that there was a spiritual cohesiveness between Christianity and these Eastern religions, and that was the big driving force in Mr. Hort's life, one of them anyway, or excuse me, in Mr. Westcott's life.
Now, this is John Anthony Hort.
He was the professor at Trinity College, Cambridge.
He died in 1892, and he was described as a liberal, and he was well known as someone who early in his life had been a conservative, but he became a very outspoken liberal that departed from the basic fundamental doctrines of Christianity, and Westcott was described as a Christian socialist.
So these men were very liberal in their theology.
They were very liberal in their politics and every aspect of their life.
Now, what we're going to do is we're going to show, we're going to really let you peek behind the curtain at these two men.
These two men are the two figurehead lying scribes.
They're the two biggest ducks in the pond.
And we're going to really be letting you get a good look at them, the man they were connected with, their theology, their life, and to use discernment.
Were these men driven by the Spirit of God, or were they driven by devils?
And The 1881 Greek text that they produced, this replaced the Byzantine text that had stood from the 4th century until that time.
And there's a lot to that story that we're going to be unpacking for you.
Now, this is another fellow that we need to know about to understand this whole picture.
This is Cardinal John Henry Newman.
He passed away in 1890, and he began as an Anglican priest here in the same area with Westcott and Hort.
They were intimately connected.
And he went from being an Anglican priest to becoming a Roman Catholic priest and a Roman Catholic cardinal.
Now, at age 15, Mr. Newman claimed that he became celibate at age 15.
And for 32 years, he lived with a man named Ambrose St.
John, his live-in male friend, for 32 years.
I'll just say that the facts about Mr. Newman's personal life were well known, and we'll just leave it at that.
That was called the Oxford Movement.
Now, these guys were going to show in our presentation tonight that Westcott, Hort, Newman, and other men we're going to name, they were controlled by the Jesuits.
And we're going to be showing this clearly, and we're going to be showing the unpacking this operation from the Jesuits that led to the 1881 text.
Now, there's a movement that is called the Oxford Movement.
And Mr. Newman and Wes Cottenhort and other individuals we're going to speak to were members of this Oxford Movement.
And this was an openly, it was no secret, that these men wanted to take the Church of England back to Roman Catholicism.
And what makes it difficult for someone such as I or you to sort this out is that these men went under different names.
And when people started to get on to what they were doing under one name, they'd go by another name.
And they began by being called the Tractarians.
And John Henry Newman started the Tractarians in 1883.
Now, here's a rundown.
of the different names that this movement went under.
It was started on July 14, 1883 by John Henry Newman.
They were known as the Tractarians.
Then they became known as the Oxford Movement.
And then they became known as the Society of the Holy Cross.
And then they became known as pussyism.
So when you read different things about these different groups, a lot of times people don't realize they're all connected, but they're all the same thing.
And it's just the same old thing that was known by different names.
And this is an old Jesuit trick to just blow smoke to keep people from figuring out what's going on.
And they're very, very good at what they do.
Now, John Henry Newman, within three months of starting the Tractate Society, he published this book, and the Disciplina Arcanae, which is like arcane or secret.
But it says here...
from the Secret History of the Oxford Movement.
Within three months from that date, he published his work on the Arians of the 4th century, in which the discipliana, or can I, or the secret teaching which found such favor with a few of the early church fathers was held up to the admiration of English churchmen of the 19th century.
Newman affirmed that these secret doctrines were not learned from the Scriptures.
Now, where have we heard that before?
And Mr. Newman published this book.
Now Arius, if we remember, he was the early heretic that began to teach that Jesus was a created being.
So right away, we can see that Mr. Newman did not believe anywhere close to that which was correct about Jesus.
Jesus was a created being.
And yeah, the real truth to be found is not in the Word of God.
To really get the truth, we go to these Arian and these Gnostic and these Kabbalistic revelations.
That's what you have to do.
to get the truth, according to Mr. Newman.
And this is the old trick that they all use.
They want to get you out of your Bible, and looking under these secret doctrines and mystic revelations of all of these, uh, pick one, Gnostic, Kabbalist, um, you know, anyone will do, just so we get people away from their Bibles.
Now, this is another fellow.
that we want to be aware of.
Edward Bouvier Poussey.
And Mr. Poussey died in 1882, and he was the professor of Hebrew at Oxford University for over 50 years.
And we're going to be bringing forth documentation from Jesuit writings that shows the strategy they employed.
Now, it began with the idea that we will take the Anglican church back to the church of Rome.
But they changed their strategy, and we'll read from the own writings of the Jesuits why they did this.
But Poussey developed what they called Poussiaism.
And this idea was, well, we're going to come up with what was the term Anglo-Catholicism, that the Church of England was to be made a hybrid between Roman Catholicism and the Church of England.
And the Jesuits decided that that would be much more effective in polluting not only the Church of England, but all Protestantism, And I hate to say, they were very correct on that point.
Now, it's from Mr. Pussy that we learn so much about this movement, the inner spiritual practices, and the way that they did what they did.
Now, this movement The beginning with the Tractarians and the Oxford Movement, the whole thing.
They established monasteries in England, like Catholic monasteries, and they would use retreats, monasteries.
They established orders for women that were like the nuns in the Roman Catholic Church.
And they also established the confessional in the Church of England, and not all Anglican priests did it.
But these Pouseyites, they would take confession just like a Roman Catholic priest would take confession.
And Edward Pousey wrote a book called his Manual for Confessors.
That was a book that Anglican priests would use for telling the people that want to confess whatever, you know, you do five Hail Marys or this.
But his manual was quite the hoot.
And they adopted The Disciplines of the Jesuits for their Penitence.
And we're going to show you just exactly what they were.
Now, in this quote from, uh, about Mr. Poussey, it says, his biography, biographer informs us that with Kebbel's sanction, and Kebbel was another member of the Oxford movement, there's a Kebbel College in England, he was another very prominent individual,
It said Poussey made it a rule to wear hair cloth always by day, unless ill, and that he was very anxious to use the discipline every night.
In his Manual for Confessors, published in 1878, he recommends both penances for confessors, referring to the hair cloth and also to the whip.
And when you would go to one of Pusey's confessors, they might tell you, and what this was, it was extremely brittle hairs from brittle horsehair, and they would put this next it was extremely brittle hairs from brittle horsehair, and they would put this next to their skin and strap it tight, and the pain was prolonged and excruciating, and this was used to put them
And we're going to show you how this practice was employed and refined by Ignatius of Loyola of the Jesuits.
And these people were using these Jesuit disciplines to enslave people into this little working of evil they had going.
Now, this fella here, is a name that we're familiar with, Ignatius Loyola, and he lived from 1491 to 1556.
He was the founder of the Jesuits, and they conducted what was called the Counter-Reformation.
The precise goal of the Jesuits was to crush the Protestant Reformation and to bring back the quote-unquote separated brethren unto the Church of Rome.
And the Jesuits, as we know, they were thrown out of practically every country in Europe because they would murder.
They would murder, they would kill, they would poison.
The things the Jesuits have done are infamous, and I believe, and I have studied the secret societies of every stripe for many decades, and I believe that the Jesuits are the most pernicious evil organization that has ever been spawned by Satan.
And there's some bad ones out there, but I believe that they are the worst and that they are the most effective.
Now, We're going to look here at the disciplines that they developed.
Ignatius Loyola would torture himself in bizarre ways, and he would have visions and revelations when he would be putting himself under extreme pain, and it would put him into an altered state where he would receive revelations.
And this is from his spiritual exercises, and he says, third way, The third to chastise the flesh, that is, giving sensible pain, which is given by wearing hair cloth or cords or iron chains next to the flesh, by scourging or wounding oneself, and by other kinds of austerity.
And this self-torture was extreme.
And the hair cloth that-- and Pussy wanted to wear this all the time-- that would put him in constant pain and in this demonic state.
You know, I mean, if you want to turn your discernometers on, if it ain't on yet, just flip your discernometer on right here.
This is satanic.
This is satanic.
These men were driven by devils, and the height of this demonic reveling, we're yet to see the height of it yet.
But this self-torture, was a, uh, it was a cult.
It's a cult that operated within Roman Catholicism.
It operates within the Church of England.
It has today broadened itself out into many venues.
It is directly linked to the hardcore sexual S&M underground, which is no longer underground.
And, uh, these things are so deeply entwined that It's patently obvious.
And these retreats...
They set up these retreats and these monasteries, like in Roman Catholicism, and there were men and women both living in these secluded retreats, and Mr. Newman lived with his male live-in for 32 years, and everything went on that you would imagine went on in this kind of a setting, in this kind of a situation.
So, and we're going to be, you know, We're giving some much proof for that.
Now, at this point, I want to read another scripture.
And when it comes to the issue of The King James Bible, which the only Bible I support or recommend is the King James Bible.
There's so much controversy.
There's so much back and forth.
And what I want to challenge you to do tonight is to discern the spirit of truth from the spirit of error.
Is it even remotely plausible that these men were driven by God to do what they do?
Or were they driven by demonic spirits?
Now, in 1 John 4, beginning in verse 5, they are of the world Therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
We are of God.
He that knoweth God heareth us.
He that is not of God heareth not us.
Hereby know we the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
Just turn your discernal meters on, because this really isn't that hard.
Can I say something?
Yeah, you sure can, John.
And this is just kind of a response to the general attitude that this warning people about this stuff or whatever is not fruitful, nor is it, you know, something we should be doing.
I just want to tone in on Acts 20 for just a minute.
Paul, in Acts chapter 20, he says, Take heed therefore unto yourselves and to all the flock over the witch the holy ghost had made you overseers to feed the church of god which he had purchased with his own blood for i know this that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you not sparing the flock
Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things to draw away disciples after them.
them.
Now listen to this next verse.
This is serious.
Picture this in your mind.
It says, therefore watch and remember that by the space of three years, I did not stop or I cease not to warn everyone night and day with tears.
We mention this stuff maybe once every couple weeks.
Paul, every night for three years, mentioned it in tears and warned people and so there you go.
That's all I gotta say.
Yeah.
Mic drop.
And the wolves are here.
And that's what we're doing tonight, letting you have a good look at the wolf.
And tonight, we're not even going to get in.
I've done teachings like that.
We've got some on FOJC, Donna can post them in the chat, where we get into the specific scriptures.
But I will just say this.
A lot of people say, well, there's differences, but it doesn't make any difference.
That's not true.
The changes that they made, they affect the virgin birth, the deity of Christ, the blood atonement.
There are huge, huge, huge problems with this.
And we're not even going to go there.
What I'm challenging you to do tonight is to discern the spirit behind these men.
Now, In this next slide, this is a statue in the Vatican of Ignatius Loyola, who, as we said, the father of the Jesuits that began the Counter-Reformation for Roman Catholicism.
And if you notice here, there's the Protestant.
underneath Ignatius's foot.
He's stamping, got his foot on the Protestant's neck, and we've got a close-up of that, and here you see, yeah, that Protestant, he's all crazy looking, he's got wild hair, there's a snake underneath him, but notice, there's a book in his hand.
There's a book in his hand, and that book is what the Roman Catholic Church hates, because that book was the cause of many, many thousands and hundreds of thousands of people leaving the Roman Catholic Church and they know if they're going to crush The Reformation, that they have to crush the Word of God.
They know that.
They killed nearly 15 million families in one era.
I mean, just slaughtered people left and right for having a copy of Wycliffe's scripture, you know, which was the translation that they had at the time of the Greek text.
And man, I mean, imagine that many people.
That's way worse than the, um, oh, It's worse than any war that we've done so far.
You're talking 15 million of these eradicated people just for having a copy of this stuff.
And even in the time of Constantine, when the scriptures were given there, anybody that believed that differently, I mean he was a pagan priest all the way through to his death, Constantine was, even people that believed differently than you had to be subservient to the vicar of Christ is what they called it at the time, these popes, they would be killed.
Anybody who didn't believe that, I mean they have gone on attack on the word so much.
But you're right, just to kind of recap, What you're saying is, and I think it's real important to understand this, is nowadays the tactics have been different.
They've whittled away over time, whittled away, whittled away, whittled away our education, whittled away what we know to be true so much that now there's no fight for it anymore.
There's no, they don't have to kill people.
All they have to do is control the media.
All they have to do is control these pastors, which they have been doing.
There's evidence that they put their Jesuits in place of these seminaries and pumped their people out for centuries.
But we'll talk more about that.
I just want to recap on what's going on here so you guys can kind of get an idea of what we're seeing.
And not only, just to arm yourself, because there's a big difference in these texts.
And just, again, reiterating why this is important.
There's a big difference, big doctrinal differences on What is considered the true text and how it's been forged and different things.
So anyways, go ahead, David.
Yeah, it's huge.
And last night on FOJC, I did a teaching called the Red Heifer in the Temple of Madness.
And we're discussing, you know, today, When Paul talked about the man of sin sitting in the temple of God, and today the majority are saying it's going to be someone coming in a rebuilt Jewish temple.
If you read Manton, if you read Bunyan, if you read John Owen, John Wesley, they knew that the man of sin sitting in the temple was the papacy defiling the people of God.
And today There are assemblies that are chocked full of Freemasons.
They're chocked full of the rank celebration of pagan holidays and every stripe of idolatry.
The Antichrist is sitting right in their temple, and they're saying, Oh!
Oh!
You want to keep your eyes on Jerusalem, that rebuilt temple, but boy, that's another money trail.
That I'm not gonna go down now, but it's ridiculous.
It's such deception that it's truly monumental.
Now, I have an article here from the Westminster Gazette, September 8, 1896.
And this article will give us an idea and a perspective of how widespread this Jesuit cult of torture became within the Anglican Church.
And it says here, John Kinsett, the Protestant bookseller, has given Potternoster Row a new sensation this week.
For some days past, a large part of his window has been used for the exhibition of a large sheet displaying half a dozen instruments of torture.
said to be used and recommended by members of the Church of England.
Take that broad stomacher of horsehair, for example, and place it next to the skin.
Imagine the discomfort of the first five minutes as each bristly hair presses against the body, and picture the torture of each succeeding five minutes it is worn.
Then turn from this mild discipline to the severe penance of the barbed heart.
And we're going to show you an actual video of this.
It's gonna blow your mind.
It goes on to say, This is a maze of wire, the size of the palm of one's hand, upon one side of which barbs project, wristlets and anklets and the broad band of netted barbs which the penitent fastens round his or her leg.
One scourge is of hard-knotted ropes, half a dozen ends attached to pliant handle.
The other is of well-hardened and polished steel, each end of the five chains neatly finished with the steel rowel.
practice, and it's well documented from Poussey's Manual of Confessors that this was the way to go for all of these priests that were in the Oxford movement, the Tractarians, Pousseyism, the Secret Society of the Holy Cross, all of these people that West Cottoncourt and Newman
This was their thing, to bring these practices of the Church of Rome and the Jesuits into the Church of England, and they did it.
Now, here is a picture of the use of the barbed heart.
And like it was said, you see it's here in this individual's hand, and it's literally this thing you hold in your hand.
It's got barbs on it, and you just beat yourself in the chest with it.
And we're going to show you some video of a festival in Italy where thousands of people come to celebrate this, and they dress up dressed in what looks just like a Ku Klux Klan robe, and thousands of people will come, and they march in processions, and they wear these white robes, and they beat themselves with this barbed heart as they walk through the street.
And there's a procession of the BVM of Catholicism, and they carry this statue of Mary through the streets, and they will worship Mary as they beat themselves with this heart till their white robes are just drenched with blood.
And it's not the blood of the Lamb.
Now, what can you say about this?
You know, uh, you know, this is just nothing less than satanic.
Now, this is another, uh, it's a still shot from the video we're going to show you.
And because when I first watched this video, I caught this and I said, is that what that is?
And, uh, Sister Donna ran it back and she was able to come up with this steel cutaway.
And here you see they're carrying in this procession we're going to show you the video of.
And there's a picture of the Eucharistic Jesus.
That's not the real Jesus.
This is the Eucharistic Jesus.
It's got INRI over the top.
But looking here, what we've got, it's the skull and crossbones of the Templar.
Now, this is some pretty, pretty creepy stuff.
I mean, uh, You don't have to have, uh, even if you've had your discernal meter on the shelf for a while and haven't turned it on lately, uh, it should get a big reading on the Richter scale on this because it is really, uh, bizarre.
Riti, Centenali, Slash, And a picture's worth a thousand words.
And we see in this clip the association between meriality and the worship of Mary and these Jesuit practices of self-torture.
Now, we're going to show Some more very, very disturbing statements that shows the heart of Westcott and Hort.
They, uh, well, let's, let's just look at it.
Um, Hort said, I am very far from pretending to understand completely the renewed vitality mariolatry.
I have persuaded for many years that Mary worship and Jesus worship have very much in common in their causes and results.
Well, what can you say?
For those that are born again with the Spirit of God in them, they know that Mary worship is abomination.
It's idolatry.
And that's what we're looking at.
We're looking at rank idolatry and things that are driven by satanic spirits.
And Mary worship is idolatry.
The worship of the true Jesus That's what we want to do.
Now, this is a picture of a Pieta.
And basically, this is what a Pieta is.
Many statues that are made in Roman Catholicism of Mary holding Jesus's dead body.
This is something that will go, and they will pray, and many people will spend hours in front of these statues.
Now, we want to read a statement of Brooks Foss Westcott.
He loved to worship in front of Pietas, and we saw what Mr. Hort said concerning Mary worship.
You know, they weren't saying, well, I'm not a good, they were open, openly promoting this.
They're saying, you know, what the Catholics do is good.
We need to bring this over here and we need to do this too.
And David, one more time for people that are, might be just joining us, West Cotton Hort, what are they famous for?
So people can know kind of what we're getting at here because a lot of people might just be jumping in.
Sure.
For our late listeners that are just tuning in and welcome to the Midnight Ride.
Glad to have you on board.
And Wes Cotton Hort, were the men that in 1881 they published a Greek text.
It was not a translation of Scripture, but it was a Greek text from which the modern translations are translated from.
And now, and the way you identify them now, and this is another This gets so involved, but today there is what's called the Nestle-Allen text.
In 1908, Eberhard Nestle, he revised the Westcott and Hort text, and from there, there have been 27 times, and it might be the 28th now, That they have changed it over and over and over.
And probably, in our next presentation, we're going to show you who these people are.
And also, it's called the UBS, the United Bible Society text.
Both of these are spinoffs of the Westcott and Hort.
So, if you have a Bible that's translated from Vanessa Walland or the United Bible Societies, you're getting this Westcott and Hort pollution.
So, these were the men that in 1881 they published this Greek text from which these translations came.
And there's, there'll be much more that hopefully we'll be able to say to make this understandable.
And I, I fully will realize that this is a complex issue and there is so much material, there's so many things you need to know Even to be able to make a formed in decision on so many aspects.
That's why I really felt led tonight to Just get beyond that and let's discern the spirit here could this maybe be of God and When you look at it and you pray about it, there is no way that these men were led by God They were driven by devils and the impact that they have had is just absolutely phenomenal But this is what Mr. Westcott said.
He said, after leaving the monastery, We shaped our course to a little oratory private chapel, which we discovered on the summit of a neighboring hill, and by a little scrambling, we reached it.
Fortunately, we found the door open.
It is very small, with one kneeling place, and behind the screen was a Pieta, the size of life, a virgin and a dead Christ.
Had I been alone, I could have knelt there for hours.
So these things of Catholicism, they were very open and above.
They were all for it.
And they were for either bringing the Church of England back to Rome, or to totally implementing these things of Catholicism into the Church of England.
They were open and above about it.
Now, another book we're going to look at is nunnery life in the Church of England, or 17 years with Father Ignatius.
And this was written by a woman that was a member of these religious orders for women.
And as I said, beginning with the Tractarians, call them Tractarians, Oxford movement, Society of the Holy Rosy Cross, Fucianism, all the same thing.
And they established these monasteries in remote places where men and women would live.
And they established orders for women that were like the nuns in Roman Catholicism.
And here is the picture of this lady, Mary Agnes, as she was in her garb in this Church of England.
This isn't a Catholic nun.
This is this religious order of the Church of England.
And she wrote this book, Nunnery Life in the Church of England, that told about her experiences there.
And it's phenomenal.
And others also have borne testimony to the things that went on in these secluded areas.
Now, This is an excerpt from this book.
She says, One day I was coming from Nones at 2.45 p.m.
This mother commanded me to stay where I was, and then said, You have got the devil in you, and I am going to beat him out.
All left the sacristy but myself, the mother superior, and one nun who was ordered to be present at the casting out of the devil.
I was commanded first to strip.
I saw the discipline with its seven lashed of knotted whipcord in her hand.
Even three weeks after she had disciplined me, I had a very sore back and it hurt me greatly to lie on it.
And we're not talking about just a spankin' or about getting whipped with a belt.
We're talking about an instrument with pieces of iron and glass that rips the flesh, and it rips—we're talking about blood gushing and the whole thing.
This is extreme.
It comes right from the Jesuit disciplines, as you can read of these things that were implemented by the Jesuits.
This is nothing less than behavior that is driven by the spirits of devils.
Nothing less than that.
1 Timothy 4 and 1, We know what the Scripture says.
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.
And, you know, what we've seen so far about these two birds, it makes it pretty easy, but there's a lot more to the story.
And we're going to be unpacking here another whole segment of the life of Westcott and Hort And that is in their direct contact with devils.
Not only did they directly seek and contact these entities, but they promoted this in pamphlets and writings.
And there was a little secret society that was formed that would print and publish these things, and it was called the Ghostly Guild.
Now, We'll look at this.
It says here this is from The Occult Underground by James Webb.
Ghost Society was founded by no less a person than Edward White Benson, the future Bishop of Canterbury.
As A.C.
Benson writes in his father's biography, the Archbishop was always more interested in psychic phenomena than he cared to admit.
And this, the Archbishop of Canterbury, this would be like the Pope of the Church of England.
And it says, two members of the Ghost Club became bishops, Benson and Westcott, and one a professor of divinity, Hort.
And Westcott and Hort, in the Ghostly Guild, they were involved with some of the most influential members of the Church of England in spreading this occultism and the direct contact with fallen spirits.
Now, This is a quote from the life of Hort, Anthony Hort of West Cotton Hort, and this is what it says in his biography.
This is from him, but there are many others who believe it is possible that the beings of the unseen world may manifest themselves to us.
Many of the stories current in tradition or scattered up and down in books may be exactly true.
And when Hort wrote to C. H. Chambers, he said this, He says, I sent you two ghostly papers.
You can have more if you want them.
And what these ghostly papers were, were actual accounts of the contacting of these spirits and seances and how to do it.
You know, it's like, you know, we testify in church of what Jesus has done for us.
They would testify and promote the experiences of these spirit communications and contacts.
It says, I sent you two ghostly papers You can have more if you want them, but I find they go very fast, and the 750 copies we printed go by no means far enough.
They weren't just interested in it, they were printing these books and distributing them, rabidly, just exuberantly promoting this type of occultism.
It said, The seven and a hundred and fifty copies we printed go by no means far enough.
We are promised a large number of well-authenticated private stories, but they have not arrived yet.
Our most active members are, however, absent from Cambridge to Wit, Westcott at Harrell, and Gordon at Wells.
And the Word of God is very clear.
It doesn't mince any words in Isaiah 8 and 19, And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, And unto wizards that peep and mutter, Should not a people seek unto their God For the living unto the dead?
And let's read verse 20 after that, because it's kind of a crescendo.
I'm going to read Isaiah chapter 8, And Isaiah 8 and 20, and this makes it, this puts it in, um, Context so well, it says, and I'll read them both together.
And when they shall say unto you, seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep and that mutter, should not a people seek unto their God for the living, to the dead, to the law, and to the testimony?
If they speak not according to this word, it is because Because they have no light in them.
Isn't that amazing?
Yeah.
You need to be focused on the Word of God, not these spirits.
And if you don't, you have no light in you.
Well, there was no light in these men.
There was only darkness.
Because they didn't want the Word of God, they wanted to destroy the Word of God.
And they were seeking unto these spirits that were driving them and supernaturally anointing them to destroy God's Word.
Now, in another quote, this is from Mary Agnes' book, Nunnery Life in the Church of England, and I want to touch a little bit on the supernatural element.
If you read the history and the life of Ignatius of Loyola, who was the founder of the Jesuits and that wrote these disciplines of torture for his followers.
He had unbelievable demonic visions and torments that he went through when he would be in these states of ecstasy from the self-inflicted pain.
And this happened with people in this movement also.
There were these visions, there were these revelations, in this pain-induced state, and there were demonic manifestations, and there were all kinds of these type of things went on, and we're just going to look at a couple of them here to give you an idea, a sampling of the things that always accompany this.
And from nunnery life in the Church of England, but Mary Agnes, she said, I then said, Let us sing a Hail Mary in honor of the Blessed Virgin herself.
And we began to chant the fourth Hail Mary.
Directly as we began to do so, I saw a great circle of light flash out over the whole heavens.
And from that one great circle of light, small circles bulged out And I, and in the center of the circle stood a gigantic figure of a human being with hands uplifted, standing sideways.
And many such accounts could be brought forth.
Now, Eucharistic miracles are something that Sister Donna and I have talked about for over a decade now.
warning people about the prophetic connections between the end-time worship of the beast and this false communion and the Eucharistic miracles.
And these Eucharistic miracles were also a part of these supernatural manifestations.
Now, this is also from Nunnery Life in the Church of England.
It says, The brother had been half an hour at his watch when he raised his eyes and saw in front of the tabernacle a kind of blue mist playing.
Now, we're going to show you this blue mist also described by Luciferian Freemasons.
This is a demonic manifestation that is tangible.
It's connected here with Eucharistic miracles.
It's also connected with the Masonic initiation.
We're going to show you that.
But this blue mist is significant in the world of the occult.
And it says, and as he looked, The mist thickened and densified until he saw the monstrance or silver vessel which contained the host within the tabernacle glimmering in the midst outside the massive door of the tabernacle which was locked.
This door is of iron nearly an inch thick.
The mist gradually cleared away, and then the sacred vessel containing the host was plain before the brother's eyes, and the sunlight in the window flashed upon it.
He saw this for half an hour, and on leaving his watch, still looked upon the vision as he went out.
Now what is being described here this is a monstrance for anyone that don't know and they put the host within the monstrance where so that they can stand before the host and adore it and what this man claimed to see
This monstrance was behind a locked door and he claimed that he saw a vision of this monstrance floating in a blue mist outside of this locked door and many many things like this are reported to take place.
Now We have here another picture of this monstrance, and the text here says, In the Roman Rite of the Catholic Church, the faithful often adore Christ in the Eucharist in a devotion referred to as Eucharistic Adoration.
The Blessed Sacrament, the consecrated host, is taken out of the tabernacle, where it is usually kept, and placed in a receptacle called a monstrance with a clear glass window that enables the fateful to see the host.
Now, I'm going to show this manifestation of this blue mist in Luciferian Masonic rituals.
Now, this is from The Hidden Life of Freemasonry by C.W.
Leadbeater, and he says, The 30th degree brings its angel also.
Of appropriate character, a great blue diva of the first ray, who lends his strength to the almighty Knight Kadash, Somewhat, as the Crimson Angel assists the excellent and perfect brother of the Rose Croy.
The 33rd degree gives two such splendid fellow workers, spirits of gigantic size.
You see, the other guy, this other woman, They were doing their Hail Mary's.
They saw the big guy, didn't they?
Well this also, this gives spirits of gigantic size as compared to humanity and radiant white in color among the angels There is no sex as we understand the word, and yet these two great ones differ in a sense which is best expressed by the saying that one of them is predominantly masculine, the other predominantly feminine.
And over and over, We've talked about this male-female duality that's the basis of Luciferian androgynous God.
He who stands usually on the right hand of the sovereign Grand Inspector General has an aura of brilliant white light shot with gold and represents Osiris, the sun and the life.
The positive aspect of the deity, she who stands on the left has an aura of similar light veined with silver, and represents Isis, the moon, and the truth, the negative or feminine aspect of the divine glory.
They are splendid beyond all words and radiant.
Now, we're going to show you here in the Masonic, you got the blue mist, you got the two angels on the side.
This is intricately manifested in Mariality also of Here it is.
You got the monstrance.
You got the two angels on both sides.
It's unmistakable that these are identical spiritual manifestations.
What is the meaning of the crescent moon that Mary is sometime pictured standing on?
The so-called Luna half-moon, this is the sign of fertility, and there are many pictures that we see of Mary, and she's standing upon this crescent moon of fertility, and this isn't the real Mary of the Bible.
We know that.
This is the BVM of Catholicism with the Eucharistic Jesus, and this is The Fount of Inspiration for Mr. Hort and Mr. Westcott.
Now, I want to read from a book called Pulpery and Jesuitism in Rome.
This is by a man called Desanctus.
It was written in 1852, and this is going to confirm this from the Jesuit side of things.
Now, let's just read.
It says, despite all the persecution they, the Jesuits, have met with, they have not abandoned England, where there are a greater number of Jesuits than in Italy.
that there are Jesuits in all classes of society, in Parliament, among the English clergy, among the Protestant laity, even in the higher stations.
But pay attention, I entreat you, to my discoveries concerning the nature of the religious movement named Pussyism.
The English clergy were formerly too much attached to their articles of faith to be shaken from them.
You might have employed in vain all the machines set in motion by Bossuet and the Jansenists of France to reunite them to the Romanist Church, and so the Jesuits of England tried another plan.
This was to demonstrate from history and ecclesiastical antiquity the legitimacy of the uses of the English church, whence, through the exertions of the Jesuits concealed among its clergy, might arise a studious attention to Christian antiquity.
This was designed to occupy the clergy in long, laborious, and obtrusive investigation and to alienate them from their Bibles.
This is the bottom line the Jesuits want to separate you from your Bible.
And we cannot allow them to do that.
That's why I tell people, use the King James Bible.
You're going to be safe.
You're going to be right.
You're going to have a proper translation from proper text.
Now, this is in response to a question.
Someone asked a question of Mr. DeSantis concerning should a Poussiaite in England, should they just stay in the Church of England or go back to Rome?
His answer is very revealing.
He says, No, my son, The Pouseyite movement must be let alone that it may bring forth fruit.
If all the Pouseyites were to declare themselves Catholics, the movement would be at an end.
Protestants would be alarmed, and the whole gain of the Catholic Church would be reduced.
to some million of individuals and no more.
From time to time, it is well that one of the Puseyite leaders should become a Catholic in order that, under our instructions, the movement may be better conducted.
But it would not be desirable for many of them to convert to Catholicism.
Puseyism is a living testimony to the necessity.
This was a deliberate plan, and the Jesuits realized that if they brought the Church of England back to Rome, well, that would be whatever it would be.
But if they continued the plan that was set in motion here in England globally, that this would destroy the opposition to the Church of Rome and would have long-living effects.
And this plan That was set in motion in the 19th century in England.
This Jesuit plan is still going full bore, and they are succeeding in separating Christians from their Bibles and giving them Apostate Bibles that have been altered from the translation of this Westcott and Hort text that is at the bane of the falling away that we are experiencing now.
This is a huge part of it, and we can discern this in our spirit, and we can reject it, and we can come back to that which is right and true And safe.
Here's anything you want to say, John, before we roll on here?
Just that I hope that people who are listening will actually research this stuff for themselves and actually dig deeper into the truth of what is being said here.
In the end times, it says that the Gentiles will come and say, surely we've inherited lies.
And we're at that point, you know, and you look at some of, and I just want to go kind of go back in history, you know, one of the tactics that they use, which history usually repeats itself in Constantinople, the last, you know, kind of a Christian, supposedly Christian city.
Of course, there was issues with it, obviously, but the Catholic church to overthrow, they sent in the Muslims and,
Destroyed that area killing millions of people and if you look at what's happening in England right now We see that mass migration and also in the US history usually does repeat itself and eventually, you know if they can cut off all media and Destroy people like us they'll have a better chance of doing what they're trying to do but as for right now they haven't been allowed to do that, but Don't think a time won't come when they will start murdering people again.
I mean, they beheaded people, you know, beheaded people, burnt people at the stake.
Millions upon millions upon millions.
The biggest genocide, which wasn't necessarily based on color or creed other than the fact that they wanted to read the scriptures for themselves and didn't want to be under the potpourri, I guess you could put it.
The potpourri Underneath the vicar of Christ supposedly the man of the in my opinion the Antichrist in general just over if you want to see a repetition of the Antichrist it is Worshiping the vicar of Christ the image of the beast right right worshiping him and people were beheaded by the millions for this if you want to see that in action This is what we're talking about here, but if you if people can easily be deceived.
There's no there's no question about it, and it's subtle It's such a subtle thing And like I said before, David, this is one of these subjects that six months ago, never would I have even understood nor imagined the amount of deception that has crept into the church.
I mean, I'd known about it for a while, but at this point, just on basically the text that we read, All the way down to that, I was under the impression that all the English translations were actually from, and this is, I feel foolish saying this, I really feel foolish saying this, because it's, you know, researchers should know better than this, but I believe that most translations were actually off the same text, it's just a matter of a different translation.
When I found out that wasn't the case, it kind of changed my whole perspective on this subject because this is a subject that is touching to most people just like Torah is touching to most people just like the anti-holidays is touching to most people most of that stuff once if once you're programmed to think a certain way then you have a hard time accepting the fact that you could be wrong or the fact that you might need to look into it but this is one of those subjects that's foundational
if you can't believe or trust the words that you're reading in the scripture then you have to take it and chuck it to the side and so the question is is there a text we can trust and this is why i love this show so much what we're doing i just want to reiterate in case you guys are coming in uh listening later on in the show for all you live listeners um this is the basis of this and if you are just now jumping in i suggest going back to the beginning we'll revisit this topic from time to time
but i think it's very important to be educated if nothing else on the text you are reading because if you have the wrong text there are major um problems with what you're going to believe that's why we see so many things creeping in creeping in today that is just it's mind-blowing you have you have so many um destructive doctrines creeping in uh and and it's
And we've been warning people about this for a while, and people think we maybe were just being paranoid or saying this, but the wolves have come in.
Not only have they come in, they've seated themselves in positions of power of teachers.
And we've warned people about it over and over and over again.
I feel like, you know, we've warned them about too much maybe, but the fact of the matter is we need to be aware of these things, not to be naive.
There's no glory in being naive and just trusting with everybody.
No glory in that at all.
And I don't want to take up too much time talking because there's a time to talk and there's a time to listen.
Well said, John.
And I think right now, you know, we need to really listen to what's being said here.
Because we both come to come to these conclusions on our own studies.
I mean, when David kind of brought this stuff before me, I was like, I was like, kind of irritated.
I got that weird kick of like, um, what is it called?
Cognitive dissonance.
I got this weird kick of that right when David started talking to me about these things.
Um, and I, and I expect there's a lot of people listening right now that have that.
And then some people don't care if they're wrong.
They want to be wrong because they are wolves on purpose.
So anyways, uh, hopefully you guys can follow along here.
Like I said, if you're just joining after this is over, go back Research this stuff yourself.
Study this stuff yourself.
Do this research.
It is so important.
Just as important as every other revelation that has come to the body of believers.
This is one of the most important.
People were murdered over it.
Millions and millions of people.
And we're at a time right now to where not people aren't being murdered over it, but it's definitely not a popular stance.
So anyways, David, continue.
All right, and very well said, John.
Very well said.
And we'll look at another individual, and this is George Vance Smith.
And Mr. Smith was a member of the committee that Produced the 1881 West Cotton Hort Greek text and what they would do And at the time that they did this people didn't the the conservative scholars and would never have believed that this text would have ever overthrown the received text, but it did.
And this is the felic here, and we'll just give you a little information about him and what they did.
They would vote and basically Westcott and Hort would lead the discussion.
They had a few others and that Westcott would say, well, we need to change this to that because of this.
They would vote, you know, they would vote and whatever they passed would go through.
And they had the deck stacked with people that were of their position.
So it was easy.
And this was one of the fellows that was with Westcott and Hort.
Scrivener was also on the committee and he opposed them.
He was a conservative and he opposed them in all that they did, but it was just a matter of voting.
It wasn't a matter of coming to truth.
It was a vote.
But it says here, The first chairman, and this is of the committee to revise the text, was Bishop Wilberforce.
One meeting, however, was sufficient for him.
He wrote to an intimate friend, What can be done in such a miserable business?
One factor had disturbed him considerably, the presence of Dr. G. Vance Smith, the Unitarian scholar.
In this, however, he shared the feelings of the people of England who were scandalized at the sight of a Unitarian who denied the divinity of Christ participating in a communion service held at the suggestion of Bishop Westcott in the Westminster Abbey immediately preceding their first meeting.
And Wilberforce And he was a relative of, I think his name was William Wilberforce, that was so famous for his work in slavery.
But anyway, in the anti-slavery movement in England.
But when Westcott served communion to Vance, there were several conservative members of the committee that just We're so sickened by it, they just quit.
And this gave, this was a dirty deed, and this gave the people that were of Westcott and Hort's persuasion the vote, and they just voted these things in.
And the conservatives that walked off, they never for a minute took it serious that this dog and pony show would ever come to the place where it would replace the received text of Scripture.
But it did.
And that's another big part of the story.
Now, John 8, 24.
I said therefore unto you that you shall die in your sins, for if you believe not that I am He, you shall die in your sins.
And that is, if you do not believe that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, if you deny the deity of Christ, you are beyond the pale of salvation.
And Westcott and Hort, Um, it's not, uh, an accusation to say that Westcott and Hort and Newman, they were not Christians.
They were not Christians.
And you don't, this isn't, and like Mr. Smith, this is not a judgment.
This is just an observation.
The things that these men admitted to believing in and promoting, these are things that it would be impossible for a child of God to do.
Uh, another statement by Anthony Hort, In 1860 he says, but the book which has most engaged me is Darwin.
Whatever may be thought of it, it is a book that one is proud to be a contemporary with.
My feeling is strong that the theory is unanswerable.
They were Hook, line, and sinker in line promoting Darwin and the theory of evolution.
Hort went on to say in writing to Westcott in 1860, today's post brought also your letter.
I entirely agree correcting one word with what you say there on the atonement, having for many years believed that the absolute union of the Christian, or rather man with Christ himself, is the spiritual truth of which the popular doctrine of substitution is an immoral and material counterfeit.
Now, the substitutional atonement that Christ died for us, according to the Scriptures of the Apostle Paul, said that Jesus died on the cross as our substitute to pay for our sin debt.
And Hort called this immoral.
Immoral.
Certainly nothing going on, certainly nothing could be more unscriptural than the modern limiting of Christ bearing our sins and sufferings to his death.
But indeed, that is only one aspect of an almost universal heresy.
Westcott and Hort called the true gospel heresy, and they replaced it with this Luciferian counterfeit.
Westcott said, No one now, I suppose, holds that the first three chapters of Genesis, for example, give a literal history.
I could never understand how anyone reading them with an open mind could think they did.
Well, hey, I believe it's literal.
Yeah, hey, I still believe the Word of God.
I still believe the Book of Genesis is literal.
But these men didn't.
And you see, these men were not men that loved the Word of God.
They didn't believe the Bible.
They didn't believe the book of Genesis.
They believed Darwin and the theory of evolution.
You see, take a good look behind the curtain and and see these guys.
Westcott said the concept of perfection is that of bringing Christ to the full moral perfection of his humanity, which carries with it the completeness of power and dignity.
This perfection was not reached till after his death.
And Westcott taught that when Christ was upon the earth, He was not perfect and sinless.
So therefore, you can't trust everything He did.
You no longer have a perfect Savior that did everything in perfection, that spoke the truth of the Father, that spoke to us the very words of the Father.
As Scripture says in 1 Peter 2-2, Who did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth.
In 1 Corinthians 2 and verse 14, But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Now let's just think for a minute.
The Word of God tells us that for us to pick up our Bibles, and you know this, everyone that's born again, You probably read your Bible to some extent before you were born again.
But after you were born again and you picked up your Bible and read it, It began to speak to your spirit, and the lights come on, and you would see this, and this, and that, and that.
And it was great!
You see, and until you're born again, that's what this Scripture's saying, until you're born again, you can't even read the Scriptures and understand them.
So how is it even remotely conceivable that these men that believed what they did, not only could they not read the Bible, so how in the world could they establish a Greek text from which translation is to be made?
This is just the ultimate of absurdity that this would even be remotely possible that these men could do this.
Now, how many changes did they make?
The revivers went on changing until they had altered the Greek text in 5,337 places.
That's a bunch.
And when they say, and this is one of the party lines, all these are There's not very many of them, and it doesn't make any difference.
It makes huge differences.
And like John said, we're going to be revisiting this.
This is a complex issue, and we're not going to try to drive everything down your throat in one show.
It's just too much.
It just becomes confusion.
And this is what we want people to begin to pray about.
What spirit What drove these men?
What can we discern the spirit behind this?
For further study on translations, we've done a couple teachings on FOJC where we did scriptural comparisons where we showed where this text led to the meaning of the virgin birth, the deity of Christ, the blood atonement, and you know, They said, you know, we think that the blood atonement's heresy.
And we show many verses, they took the blood right out.
So, it is important.
And these are the links to FOJC 380-386, where we got a lot of that in there, if you want to do some further study there.
Now, Job 14 and 4, who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean?
No one!
And it's absolutely impossible to take this unclean, polluted text of Westcott and Hort and bring anything clean from it.
These translations that are made, and today when you look at it, When you look at the Bible you're reading, it's not going to say this is translated from the Westcott and Hort.
It'll say this is translated from the Nestle Alland, or it's translated from the UBS translation, the United Bible Society.
And in a future presentation, we're going to show you who these people are.
And the story from this point on, It doesn't get prettier, it just gets uglier.
For many, many years, one of the men that sat on the committee that would keep changing it, you see, the unchanging Word of God keeps changing, and it ain't getting better, it just gets worse.
And I've read that Westcott and Hort text, and there are things in it so abominable that haven't even hit the translations yet, but they're coming.
I guarantee you, they're coming.
Uh, so you, you can't bring anything clean out of an unclean thing.
Here's another book I would recommend to you.
Uh, if you really want to study, uh, I find this book very helpful.
It's called the Dr. New Testament.
John has one.
And what this does, This shows every place where Westcott and Hort changed the received text, over 5,000 of them, and it's footnoted.
And you can take the Doctrine and New Testament, and it's in English with footnotes, and every change they made, you can see.
And you can just take this, and you can look at these modern translations, and you can see that they are dancing to the drum of Westcott and Hort.
This is a fellow by the name of Dean John William Bergan.
And in the days of the Westcott and Hort text, he was the most vocal adversary against them.
And this is something he said here that I think it's worth listening to.
He said, before dismissing the subject, I must ask you to observe that this arbitrary, irreverent method of approaching Holy Scripture is absolutely fatal and can result in nothing but general unbelief.
It confessedly leaves the individual reader to decide what parts of the Bible he thinks could Excuse me.
What parts of the Bible he thinks could be true and could not... Excuse me, I'm getting my tongue over my eye tooth here.
He thinks could... What parts could not have been written without divine assistance?
A point in which I am bold to say that he is not competent even to form an opinion.
In other words, it constitutes every man the judge of how much of the Bible he will retain, how much he will reject.
To put the case yet more plainly, it makes every man a god to himself and the maker of his own Bible.
On one of our presentations of the FOJC links, we took the complete Jewish Bible, which is One of the most popular messianic translations, 16 complete verses are ripped out.
I called it Lucifer Suite 16.
And over and over you hear these bright light scholars, well, that shouldn't be in the Bible, this shouldn't be in the Bible, this shouldn't be in the Bible.
And everyone that plays the this shouldn't be in the Bible game You're dancing to the tune of Westcott and Hort and this satanic madness.
And I know a lot of people don't realize that.
That's what we're trying to bring this back to the lowest common denominator.
To where we can begin to understand what's happened.
I mean, it took them over a thousand years to get to this point.
Chippin' away.
Like, even when they introduced it in England, it took 300 plus years for that to catch on, right?
I mean, it's just chippin' away.
Little by little, people keep giving ground.
One of the best statements, I think, that the devil ever put out there is you just can't trust the scriptures.
You don't know what you can trust.
You can't trust them.
There's no perfect rendering of scriptures those are if that's true folks we have to throw our scriptures out and i and i tend to believe that if the father all-powerful father could preserve his word through times through the time of today if he can't then is he all-powerful and if he can't does or if he didn't does his word mean anything because We have to look at these things.
Otherwise, we're basing doctrine off of stupid stuff, off of stuff that's not even true.
So, we have to understand these things.
This is highly important.
If I could reiterate it once again, how important this is.
I mean, I feel like that's all I've been doing this show, and a lot of times I don't have a lot to add, but like I said before, there's a time to talk and there's a time to listen, and I think right now, That we really need to be listening to what the facts are that we're presenting.
We're not telling you what to believe.
We're not telling you what to do.
But if you don't know a lot of this stuff, there's a lot of people that don't.
And I fear that 10 years from now, nobody will be talking about this at all.
And so once again, share this out because I doubt that YouTube will show up in the related videos.
It might, but I've asked you to please share it out.

One, two, three, boom, smash the like button.
Share this out to as many people as you can because I really don't think 10 years people will be talking about this.
In fact, 10 years from now, I doubt that anybody that teaches the true gospel will be welcome in open air, open public and open in what we're doing now.
Maybe, maybe 20 years, maybe 30 years, maybe five, it might be next year.
We don't know.
But the fact of the matter is this message of this is not being talked about by scholars, supposed scholars anymore.
And it's disheartening and really sad.
Amen, John.
I agree with that wholeheartedly.
Now, as we close out here, here's a slide.
I called it the Translation Hall of Shame, and I'm not going to read all.
Tree of Life version, that's the one Michael Brown was involved with.
The One New Man, And you know, I'm not going to read all of them.
Basically, and that's a spit in the bucket, you need to look.
And like I say, the only Bible I recommend is the King James.
You get there, you're going to be safe.
But You can look, and if you have a Bible translated from either the UBS or the Nestle Alland, you know you're getting the West Cotton Horde text.
Now, this is just the beginning.
We haven't even talked about the Hebrew text or so many things.
This is just a beginning of discerning this error.
Not even everything that really needs to be discussed to constitute whether a translation is valid.
Now, a lot of people today say, as John said, one of the common things people say is, I believe the Bible was true in the original autographs.
Now, I want to think about that for a minute.
I want to read a scripture in 2 Timothy chapter 3 and verse 15.
And people that say that They don't believe in any Bible, because there was never a Bible that consisted of all the autographs.
Like, you would have to take the original copy of Genesis written by Moses and have the original copy of Corinthians by Paul.
By the time Paul wrote Corinthians, the original autograph of the Torah was long gone, but they had copies.
Now, let's look at what the Bible says.
II Timothy 3.15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation, through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God.
And it's profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
Now, that word inspired is the apostanos, and it means God-breathed and inspired.
Now, if you notice here, and you know, When God breathed out the Scriptures, He breathed them out in Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic.
He didn't breathe them out in English, didn't He?
Because the English language didn't even exist.
So they were breathed out in Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic.
But if you notice here, It says that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures.
Now, Timothy's mother had something in her hand, didn't she?
That she was teaching her son Timothy from.
Now, Timothy's mother didn't have the original autograph of the book of Genesis, did she?
But what she had in her hand, and we don't even know what it was, but we do know that she had an authoritative copy of the scripture she was reading.
So here's what we don't want to miss.
Not only does the inspiration of scripture to the words God originally breathed out in the text, but it also speaks to the copies.
Now here's, and like I say, our friends that say, Like a mantra, the Bible was inerrant as it was originally given.
You don't believe in any Bible, but what the Word of God teaches is that not only does God inspire and breathe out the words in the original languages, but He inspires and preserves the copies.
Now, let's look at the Psalm 12.
And I want to read verse 6 and 7, and we're going to close with that.
Psalm chapter 12, verse 6 and 7.
The words of the Lord are pure words, as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Thou shalt keep them, O Lord.
Thou shalt preserve them from this generation forever.
It was preserved for Timothy's mother, It's preserved for us today.
Satan has as one of his biggest objectives in destroying this holy book we hold in our hand.
So don't let Satan or his cronies, the Jesuits, separate you from your Bible.
In closing, I just want to read a few scriptures.
Psalm 12, 6 through 7.
The Lord's words are flawless words.
A silver refining clay furnace purified seven times.
You will keep them, Lord.
You will preserve them from this generation forward.
And Matthew 4-4, every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, you shall live by that.
Deuteronomy 8-3, talking about feeding them with manna and not living by bread and loaf, but every word.
2 Timothy 3-16, like David said, all scripture is God-bred and profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, etc.
And it says, Sanctify them in your truth, your word is truth in John 17, 17.
These scriptures tell us the importance of scripture.
And also that verse David read right there, that is a mic drop verse.
That there's no way around that he can preserve and he did preserve his word.
And those of us who have discernment will find that and it took me a long time and I'm not trying to bash anybody for not understanding this or knowing this because I did not know this and this is one of those subjects that people have been conditioned not to care about.
You've heard your favorite teachers say, there's no good, there's no good translation, there's no good, you can't trust any of the text, they've all been changed.
Well, If that's true, like I said, we have to reevaluate what we believe and why.
And I'm so thankful to be able to preach this message just like the men that before us that were martyred.
Just like the people that stood on the truth for thousands of years, even through all the inquisitions, all the crusades, and stood and they talked about the truth.
It all started with Yeshua, you know, he died first.
He was the world's gonna hate us for the message that we produce.
He's gonna hate us.
They're gonna hate us just because of him and we have to be ready to make that stand.
Doesn't mean going around being a jerk to everybody.
But when you present the truth, there's gonna be people that hate this message that we preach tonight that David came out and talked about.
There's gonna be people that hate it.
You'll see two things happen when people receive the gospel and receive truth.
One, It pricks their heart and their heart becomes a heart of flesh rather than a heart of stone.
Or two, they're violent, they're mad, they're angry.
And that shows you what spirit they have in this thing because all David did was present to you evidence.
Now it's up to you to take the evidence and do what you will with it.
Some people listening to this tonight won't Think about this.
It's gone in one ear, not the other.
They came here maybe just to chat.
Some people are going to watch this again and understand what we're talking about.
And some people are listening just because they hate our guts.
And that's just the fact of the matter.
That's the way it is.
But a lot of you that have stuck around through this and listened to our shows, You guys are something different.
You can't do this in a church.
I've tried speaking more than 20 minutes in churches before and I get the fluoride stare.
People are ready to leave because they're ready to go and get their meal at Texas Roadhouse or whatever after the sermon.
This is a special crowd and so we're thankful for you guys.
And David, any more closing words before we go to questions?
Well, I just want to say I'm so thankful for You, John, and NowYouSeeTV, and our listeners, because you want the truth.
And that's what we want.
We want to find the truth and bring the truth to you uncompromised.
And we love that about you.
And we're very thankful for you and for the opportunity to present this material.
And I believe Sister Donna's in the house.
So without any further ado, we went long tonight, but we'll do a couple questions or however we go.
So Sister Donna, come on and pick a few good ones.
I know tonight we're not going to get through them all, but so don't be offended.
But Sister Donna will throw us a couple here.
OK, actually, you didn't go that much longer.
It's just now time for me to come on.
Well, hey, there you go.
OK, we have a few off topics, but I'll save them for the end.
Right.
But why Undisputed Potency, the name of this person.
Why is so much wicked in the world when I know people are good in their hearts?
Well, actually, the Bible says the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked.
And where is that, please, David?
That is in Jeremiah 17.
And 9, I believe, I'm not sure, you might want to check me.
It's 17.9, you're right.
Yeah, Jeremiah 17.9, the heart is deceitful above all things and desperate wicked.
Who can know it?
And 1 John 1.8, if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
And one of the basic deceptions is the intrinsic goodness of mankind.
What we have is intrinsic evil in our fallen natures that causes us to go away from Christ.
And without being born again and the Spirit of God and the partaking of the new nature, as is taught in 2 Peter 1 and 4, we can't even have a desire in Romans 3 There's none that knoweth or even desires to seek after God.
So mankind is wicked and depraved, and only in Christ do we stop following our own deceitful hearts and begin to follow and seek after the things of God.
Okay, Barry wants to know, well let me ask this other one.
What's the connection between the god Isis and the terrorist group in the Middle East?
And he was asking that right after we showed the picture of the Virgin Mary on the moon.
Okay, and that's quite another topic, but there is a big segment within Islam that venerates Mary.
I remember during the Iraq war, an amazing piece, it was on Fox News, and they were doing a segment on Muslims that were protesting the destruction of Catholic churches.
The reason being that these Muslims would go in and worship and venerate before these statues of Mary.
And there are certain segments of Islam that this is very prevalent in.
So there's a big connection here between the Mary in Catholicism and Islam.
So I think that for that, that's a little off topic, and that's about as far as we'll go down the bunny We did have done entire broadcasts on the relationship of Catholicism and Islam, and even we have unpacked the idea that Islam was even a creation of Roman Catholicism.
So there's definitely a connection there.
Okay, most of these questions are going to be about the translations, so I'll just name them one after one.
Deborah wants to know, how about the Geneva Bible?
The Geneva Bible was a pre-King James Textus Receptus Bible.
It was translated from the proper text.
I don't have a problem with it.
When we look at the Bishop's Bible, we've got, if I can name them all, We've got Tyndale, the Bishop's Bible, the Matthew's Bible, the Great Bible, and Geneva.
All of these were pre-King James Bibles translated from the proper text.
The Geneva Bible was the Bible that the Puritans brought across, and there were Puritans when the King James Bible was translated.
There were 50-plus men that were involved in it, and many of them were Puritans.
The Puritans within a decade, all of the great Puritan scholars, they moved from the Geneva to the King James because it is just so obviously superior in so many ways.
It is just an unprecedented accomplishment.
But I do not have a problem with the Geneva Bible because it is a translation from the proper text by men that were godly men that wanted to get at the truth.
And another thing I want to talk about, because I've been watching the chat, there's people that would say that Sir Francis Bacon had his hand in the translation of the scriptures.
I just want to point something out.
Tyndale, as you mentioned, had translated the scriptures from the Receptacus, the Texas Receptacus.
In, um, I believe 1500s or late 1500s.
Am I right?
15 or early 1500s?
1500s?
Yeah, I think maybe 1535 is the date in my mind where it came out.
1535.
Okay.
I think maybe 1535 is the date in my mind.
1535.
Okay, so Francis Bacon was...
Let's see, he was born...
Let me find this here.
He was in the court of King James.
He might have been three or four years old about the time of Tyndale's translation.
So to say he had a part in the translation of that scripture into English is pretty ridiculous.
Plus, the only person that accuses the man of this is Manly P. Hall, a Satanist that also had his hand in the honeypot of creating new translations.
So when people say this accusation, there's really no historical basis on it whatsoever.
And if you can find some, let me know, but I've looked pretty thoroughly because I hear people saying this all the time.
But if you can't prove that, then it's a ridiculous statement against against the translation for no reason.
I mean, he was three years old when the, the trans and the translations aren't much different than Tyndale to KJV, obviously.
KJV is much better done with more scholars, but if you can get your hand on a Tyndale, you're pretty, you're in pretty good shape, like David said.
So.
Yeah.
And, um, I've got, uh, on my East sword, I have a Geneva and I have a Bishop's Bible that I refer to frequently on the, um, well, I'm not going to that, but, uh, like John said, you'll hear, well, yeah, Francis Bacon edited the KJV.
Right.
Robert Flood wrote the KJV, the Rosicrucian.
William Shakespeare wrote it.
These are all huge porkies.
that were originate in Freemasonry, like John said, Manly P. Hall.
I have the book at home written by Manly P. Hall, where he started this lie about the KJV.
And, you know, these are just wrong.
And there were 50 plus men that worked in the translation on the King James Bible Every one of their names are known.
They've been public ever since the King James Bible was completed.
And Robert Flood, Francis Bacon, and William Shakespeare, they're not in the list.
And every move that text made is well documented.
And people that say this are just spreading lies against the Word of God.
And you're playing into this disinformation machine that wants to separate you from your Bible.
Okay, next question from Mercy On Us.
Are there incorrect King James versions?
Sure.
I've got one right here.
And, uh, absolutely.
And I am not, uh, most people that would call themselves King James only And I told John driving up here that there will be King James only people attack me for this because What is called King James only in the vein of Gale Rippling or?
Peter Ruckman they would say that It's wrong.
They say the King James Bible is inerrant and And that you actually correct the Hebrew and the Greek for the English.
And that it's wrong even to look words up, like in a Strong's Concordance in the Greek and the Hebrew, or even in a dictionary.
Now to me, I think that's sad.
I don't believe that.
That's not me.
I tell people to get a King James Bible, you get a Strong's Concordance, you can look at the words God breathed out in the Greek and the Hebrew.
And if you don't have an inerrant text, how can you have an inerrant translation?
And there is a proper English word forever Greek and Hebrew and Aramaic word translated word for word from the Hebrew Greek and the Aramaic to the English and whenever the King James translators put something in the text that isn't translated to make it understandable it's in italics and it can show you so much
Just reading the English about the actual text that's there.
So, yes, there are.
God's Word has been preserved for us in the King James Bible, in the English and the originals.
I don't believe anything in the King James Bible is mistranslated.
Now, translation is a choice.
And also, in translation, when you take something from one language to another, there's never an exact equivalency.
For example, the teaching I did on Lucifer, the son of the morning.
Now, that's proper in the English.
Son of the morning.
Son of the morning stars.
But in the Hebrew, the son of Shekar.
Well, that shows us something, doesn't it?
It gives us more insight into understanding.
So, you see, it's right and proper.
And if all you ever do is read the King James Bible, God bless you.
You can learn and you can grow and you can be blessed.
But in studying the words God gave, we can learn and we don't need to be afraid of that.
So, yes, there is God, the King James Bible, is god's preserved word in english for us and we can trust it and it it holds up it has been attacked and attacked and attacked but uh the hammer's gonna wear out before the anvil i guarantee you can you please explain to how the new king james is actually not the king james just because it has the word new in front of it how it's not
An actual King James, can you explain that to people?
Because a lot of people think, because I used to think that new King James means it's just a newer translation of the King James, right?
I used to think that, and I'm assuming most people do.
Right, and that's what they want people to think, and that's just not the case.
Now, in the Hebrew text, and we didn't even get into Hebrew text today, we'll get into that more in another presentation, but The King James Bible in the Hebrew comes from the the Ben Kaim or the Daniel Bomberg Masoretic Text and The Bible says very clearly in Romans 3 and 1, the oracles of God were committed unto the Jews.
Now, if you have a New King James Bible, look in the front and it will tell you that the Hebrew text that was used to translate the New King James Bible was the 1967 Stuttgart Stugintia.
Now, that sounds a little German, doesn't it?
Because it is.
This was done in Stuttgart, Germany, by liberal German scholars, and they changed the text in thousands of places, just like what Scott and Hort did in the English.
Now, also, there's a translation called the Scriptures, a Hebrew translation.
It is based on the 1937 Biblical Hebraica, which is another German uh trashing of the Hebrew Masoretic text and in 67 the German scholars changed the 1937 Biblical Hebraica even more.
So this is an easy one for me.
The oracles of God were given to the Jews, not to the Germans.
Big difference.
So stay with The King James Bible, you'll have the proper text.
And also, regarding the New Testament, last night on FOJC we were talking about the dispensational influence on the New King James, the NIV, and the English Standard Version.
And the example I was giving was in Genesis 12 and 7.
And you can see it in multiple passages.
In Genesis 12 and 7, the promise was to Abraham and his seed.
We connect that with Galatians 3.16.
The promise is not to seeds as of many, but to seed, which is Christ.
So that way, We understand by direct comparison that the land promise is not to physical descendants, but to Christ and those that have faith in Him.
In the New King James, it's changed from seed to descendants.
This is why people that teach Dispensationalism and Zionism, their Bibles of choice will either be the New King James, NIV, or the ESV.
Because these totally doctor these verses.
We showed in another midnight ride And you can look, if you have a Schofield Bible, go to Genesis 12.7, and it was basically, the Schofield Bible was King James text with footnotes.
And the Genesis 12.7 footnote in Schofield, it says, descendants in the footnote.
Well now, it's gone from the footnote in the Schofield Bible, right into the text in the New King James.
Big problems there with the new King James.
You can't trust it.
If you want a Bible that's safe according to the proper text, get the King James.
Then you can study for yourself the words God gave.
If you just get a strong concordance, and if you don't, you're still fine.
I'd like to interject just a couple of things, talking about incorrect King James versions.
If you will look in the front of your Bible and it might possibly say that your version has been modernized, I would get rid of that because it changes words.
So that's one thing to watch out for.
And another thing, the test passage is... Well, and let's not go there.
I'll tell you later.
Let's not.
Let's not go there if you don't mind.
And let's just say that, like you said, that's good advice.
Look in the front and see if it's been modernized or changed, and that's a good way.
But my Bible is just that I'm using here, and I can't hold it up.
You can't buy it anymore.
It's out of print.
And more and more, it's going to be harder to find Even King James that are not polluted, but I would and one Bible that's safe the defined King James Bible from the Bible for today, that's the absolute text as it's given and The final edition with the typos out of it and there are others Cambridge Bibles are good
And others are, too.
So you just have to be discerning.
One of the Bibles that I love, I call it my Ollie's Bible, because I bought it at the Ollie's store.
Donna got it for me for about 10 bucks.
Great Bible.
So there's a lot of good King James Bibles out there.
So you just got to watch for these Bibles that are modernized, because a lot of them take a lot of liberty.
Okay, um did somebody else ask is the 1611 King James Version a good translation?
Well, it's very hard to read and it's original because it has the old English font in it, but uh the uh And there was a process, and it's interesting.
In Psalm 12 and 7, it says it was purified seven times.
And there were seven editions of the King James to get all the typos out of it.
And the difference at the time the King James Bible was being written, Uh, Francis Bacon was in the court of the King James at the time.
Also, uh, William Shakespeare was contemporary.
And the English language was taking form, uh, in its Elizabethan form, uh, in that time period.
So it's important for us to understand that language evolves, if you will, and that words change meaning over time.
So it's important for us to understand that it's okay to look at the words God gave and also to use a dictionary.
And some people Gail Ripplinger in her book Hazardous Materials, she puts forth the idea that it's wrong to use any kind of a lexicon or dictionary.
And you know, I think that's just sad.
I think that's just sad when people adopt that mindset.
And I know there's a lot of questions about different translations here tonight.
We have covered a lot of that in the other teachings on FOJC radio, the ones we referred to earlier.
But just briefly, they want to know about the Reformation Bible, the RSV, the Good News Version.
David can't say it enough.
Stick to the King James.
Yeah.
And one tool that we all use very every day is the eSword.
It's a free translation help to download.
It's www.e-sword.net.
It's a great, great tool.
It's got the King James Version Plus, which is key to the Strongest Concord.
You just move your cursor over the words and the numbers and it tells you what it means.
So and so many more things on there.
So that would be a good tool.
Yeah.
But someone wants to know, do we just leave ourselves open to deception because of our attitudes?
Well, I think we're all guilty.
And it's a part of our human nature.
We want to belong to a group And we want to have acceptance.
It reminds me of the video John showed of the person that would stand up and everyone else would stand up.
We want to belong to a group so much that we will stop thinking about what that group is telling us because there's such a need for us to belong.
And hopefully tonight I have inspired in some people to start thinking about what these people are telling us and about what they have done, and to just discern the spirits.
Is it even remotely possible That these men could have produced something that is of God, even without looking at the details, which we will look at in another time.
And the obvious answer is no, you cannot bring a clean thing out of an unclean.
It's impossible.
And just a couple more here, maybe.
And we've made this abundantly clear, but I think maybe it deserves an answer.
They want to know about the Sephirah from Pigeon again.
Well, can I just say that, you know, we've said it a million, we've said it several times.
We don't recommend it just like we don't recommend these other ones.
Just the same, in the same way, it's a hodgepodge of different texts that is being used.
And that's that.
I mean, I don't want to keep saying it over and over again because there's very litigious people involved with What's going on there?
So let's just leave it at that if you can.
They just haven't listened to our other programs.
Right.
And I, I'll just say, too, I do not recommend the Etsefer.
I do not recommend any Hebrew translation, not any of them.
Now, one more question, and then I want to make a statement here.
Okay, would you please briefly explain why the Septuagint is not more important than the King James Version?
I don't know if I said that accurately, but people are trying to say the Septuagint.
Yeah, well, here again, if people would just think about this, this is really an erroneous proposition.
Now, the Septuagint is a Greek translation of the Hebrew text that was produced in Alexandria, Egypt, around 200 BC.
Now, if the Greek—and this is like saying that the King James Bible was translated from the Greek and the Hebrew, it's better than what it was translated from.
Now, I believe it is just as inspired as what it was translated from.
But if you look at the Septuagint, there are huge differences between the Hebrew Masoretic text and what we see in the Septuagint.
The oracles of God were committed unto the Jews, not to the Greek rabbis.
in Alexandria.
And to find truth, we have to go back to that Hebrew Masoretic text, and the Septuagint was a translation from that Hebrew done in about 200 BC.
And people that say that, they are trying to say that the translation is superior to that which it was translated from.
And if we think about that, You know, that just doesn't make any sense, does it?
And there are huge differences between, as I said, you can look at the end of the book of Job.
There's a complete addition in the Septuagint that's not in the Hebrim-Razik text.
So there are just so many, many, many reasons there.
And because of its antiquity, I have said that I will look at the Septuagint as a commentary, but not as something that in any way we would take to overthrow the Hebrew Masoretic text from which it was translated from.
Okay, I want to read our translation.
All is shame for those people that were listening and not reading the slides, but just briefly here.
Tree of Life Version, Aramaic Bible, Plain English, New Living Translation, New International Version, English Standard Version, Berean Study Bible, Berean Literal Bible, New American Standard Bible,
Christian Standard Bible, Contemporary English Version, Good News Bible, New English Translation, Darby's Translation, 1890, One New Man Bible, Complete Jewish Bible, and that is just the tip of the iceberg, but that is the translation's hall of shame.
Yeah.
David, real quick to expand on what you were talking about with this, the Septuagint, because I think people really truly need to understand this a little bit deeper, because this is the most common Septuagint is the best.
People are saying it's older, and older obviously doesn't mean better, you know, but what is special about the Masoretic text?
We talked about this earlier.
I think people need to hear this and understand what is special about the Masoretic text, which is the Hebrew version of the scripture, compared to Septuagint.
What is special about that?
Well, the The Hebrew and Aramaic text, that is what was breathed out by God.
That's where we start, and we begin there with what we do.
And as I said, to say that something translated from that, the oracles of God were committed to the Jews.
And you can trace the, just like you can study in the of the text of New Testament Scriptures, you can do the same thing with the texts of the Old Testament, and you can see preservation there.
You can see the miraculous preservation against all of the attempts to vilify it.
And there were many attempts, but God preserved the Hebrew, And you can see this in the, uh, in the, in the preservation.
So it's just really, um, it's just really very plain.
We cannot elevate a translation.
And it's not like the, you take the, um, like you can take the King James Bible and you can tell it's coming word for word.
from the Greek received and Hebrew Masoretic text.
That's not even close to what happened with the Septuagint.
It takes tremendous liberties.
It adds sections in, it leaves stuff out.
It is very fast and loose.
It is just not anything of quality that I could in any way endorse as anything more than a commentary.
Now the idea of That if something's older, it's better.
And it's not as old as the Hebrew manuscripts, you know, because it's translated from the Hebrew, for goodness sake.
But the same idea is put forth with the two main New Testament manuscripts, Codex Vaticanus and Codex Sinaticus.
They say that because they're older, they're better.
Well, the reason why And this is another big topic, but Codex Sinaticus, which when we get into the study of Codex Sinaticus, It very well might not be older.
It could be a 19th century total forgery, and that's another whole story.
And Vaticanus, and, you know, here again, let's just think for a minute.
The Westcott and Hort text, B and Aleph as they're called, Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus, these are the two big manuscripts that they base themselves on.
And Could a, might we be suspicious?
Might our discernal meter begin to flicker if this manuscript is called Codex Vaticanus?
And this was rolled out in the 19th century by a Jesuit Roman Catholic Cardinal by the name of Bede.
And that's another whole story.
And the other one, uh, Vaticanus, or excuse me, Sinaticus, was supposedly recovered from a monastery partly from a trash can by a fellow by the name of Tischendorf.
And boy, that's another whole story.
But the facts are, That if you compare Codex Sinaiticus with Codex Vaticanus, they contradict themselves in thousands of places just within the Gospels to compare these two.
So is it in any way logical that we could take Vaticanus and Sinaticus that disagree with one another so many times?
Can these be our foundational scriptures?
In what we talk would understand in textual criticism as manuscript families, there are what is called the Byzantine and there's the Alexandrian.
And the Byzantine manuscripts are from the Holy Land.
They're around Israel.
And they call the Alexandrian manuscripts Alexandrian because they come from the area of Alexandria, Egypt, the hotbed of Gnosticism.
Now, there are about 45 Alexandrian manuscripts in existence.
There are over 5,000 Byzantine manuscripts, and if you throw out the 45 Alexandrian manuscripts and you compare the 5,000 plus Byzantine manuscripts with each other, you can come up with the text of the the New Testament beyond the shadow of a doubt.
So, hopefully, this can help clear a little bit of the smoke, so much of the smoke that's blowing on this issue.
Do we have any more, Donna?
I think one thing, too, people need to start researching.
One of the things that I think that in my research I found is how many times these texts were touched and changed by scribes as opposed to the Masoretic.
In the making of the Masoretic text, I'm not sure if you mentioned this, I kind of toned out for a second watching the chat, but the way that they copied these manuscripts were so meticulous.
They had to, first off, from what I understand, they had to have the entire scriptures memorized first off.
Then if they messed up more than one time on the page, they had to cut the page completely Very meticulous in copying the text as opposed to a lot of these that have been touched by Jesuits and touched by people that shouldn't have been touching them for many of years.
And like David said in Romans chapter 2, is it 2 verse 1?
3 and 1.
It's been committed to the Jews, right?
The scripture has been... Because he talks about what advantage is it to a Jew?
He says, much in every way, because they've been committed.
They have been committed to the scriptures, to holding on to the scriptures, and to having them for us.
We have to look at things like that in scripture, because scripture oftentimes tells us exactly what we're looking for.
And people have a hard time with believing what the scripture says.
You can tell that by so many different doctrines that are out there.
I mean, I was talking to a Hebrew teacher today and mentioned in a comment, and I was like, look man, this is what the scripture says.
Here's three witnesses.
Agree to disagree.
That's the thing I get.
Agree to disagree.
Okay.
Agree to disagree, but let's see a rebuttal one of these days.
Let's see something.
Every time we come out with something where we prove it in scripture, never rebuttal, only slander, or only a false teaching in reference to what we have to say.
It's really intense the way these people are.
I mean, they just have no, they can't rebuttal the scriptures, therefore they make up their own conjuring ideas.
You know, that was just a tradition.
I for an eye is a tradition.
It wasn't a judgment like in Exodus 21 it says.
I'm sorry, but those things don't hold water.
You guys are going to have to wake up and keep looking.
Use scripture as your final authority.
Quit using all these different doctrines and man-made teachings.
I mean, this is getting to a point now where there's no excuse.
There's no excuse that any of us have for not being able to research scripture and go to scripture and learn scripture now.
All of us that have heard this show tonight understand that there's something deeper at work here.
Not just grabbing any old translation and reading from it, but looking to what is... And one thing that David and Donna both said, you can look in the beginning of the Bible and it tells you what text is translated from.
I implore you to look at that, because some of the translations nowadays, especially these Hebrew Roots translations, they won't even tell you anything you don't know hardly anything about the the uh person that translated it and it's usually just one or two people whereas the king james version had a whole host of some of the best scholars that ever lived on the face of the earth we have to start looking and understanding these things and not just accepting them as fact and i and i and i want to say this one one thing real quick david
i want to urge each and every one of you to not come down on people over this subject to simply present evidence, and if they take it, they take it.
Don't be a terrorist over this subject, because KJV only-ers are very terrorist-y in a lot of ways.
And so are TOR people, and so are all these different people.
They love to, like, oh, I know this now, you don't.
Well, I can't, you know, for me to do that would be hypocritical, because six months ago, I didn't know this, you know?
So I can't go and hammer it down on somebody, act like they should know this stuff when I, in fact, didn't know it.
And I and I consider myself I'm not considering myself smart by any means and in anything.
But I do research a lot.
I do study a lot.
And this stuff never grazed my table until about six months ago.
So be gentle with people.
Love cast seeds out there.
Seeds will grow.
And the father is the one that's responsible for making it grow, not us.
We can only plant the seeds, love people.
People are going to see you that you might be the only scripture they ever read, which is unfortunate.
But if you are a hateful, arrogant person that thinks they know everything and you slam it down people's throat, guess what?
Nobody wants to be anything like you.
But you we should love as Christ's love and do the best and there's gonna be people that hate us.
There's no doubt There's gonna be people that want to kill us.
There's no doubt but it's not because we're jerks All right.
It's not because we're jerks It's because we present what the Messiah presented and we walk as he walked they hated him first They're gonna hate us and we fully expect that one day if things keep going the way they were we will actually die like he does and I don't know, David, that's really all I have to say.
Yeah, and very well said, John.
And let's think about one more thing here.
I always say, let's think about one more thing, and I go to about five things, but Romans 3 and 1, let's read the Scripture.
We've referred to it multiple times.
What advantage, then, hath the Jew?
or what profit is there of circumcision, much every way, chiefly because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.
Now let's think about something for a minute.
In the Hebrew Root Movement, and I did a teaching on FOJC just on the Hebrew Root translations and referenced a lot of them, and I still have several in my library, a lot of them I just Give the heave ho to I just don't have room but and there was one that someone sent to me and it said this and I and I can't remember what it was that these are popping up Hebrew root translations are popping up like popcorn and
This one said, we follow the Hebrew Masoretic text, except where we saw fit to change it.
Oh, okay.
And they don't tell you where they changed it, but yeah, we followed it until there was something there we wanted to change, so we just changed it.
Here you go, buy our Bible and away you go.
It's insanity.
And think about this for a minute.
Here's the Hebrew Root movement, and the Hebrew Root translations are the worst for not even wanting to tell you what texts they come from, and many of them I examined.
And let's take the Scriptures 2009 for addition, and now I think that's the newest one.
And anyway, there was two editions of the Scriptures, and both of them follow the 1937 Biblical Hebraica, which was a German slaughtering of the Hebrew Masoretic Text.
Now let's just think for a minute.
Here we are in the Hebrew Root Movement.
We want to get a Bible that was translated from the German text.
Now, if the Oracles of God were committed to the Jews, and you're the Hebrew Root Movement, wouldn't you want the Jews, the one the Jews did?
But no!
We want the one the German did.
Now, does that make any sense?
No, it doesn't.
So, it's madness and insanity what's going on out there.
So, we need to pray, and as I said, I hope your takeaway from this is, and I guarantee you there's so many people, they stay up at night, literally, trying to think of things to assault
The Word of God and we we don't we can't even have context to understand Whether they're lying to us or not and we have to be able to discern the spirit behind this so hopefully tonight we can discern the spirit behind Westcott and Hort and It's obviously not the Spirit of God
Okay, we had just a few other questions, but I know they're off topic, but just a couple of things.
One person wanted to know like the time frame of when all this was taking place.
You mentioned it just slightly, but I guess they're trying to work it in their mind how the West Cotton Whore, when they did what they did.
Okay.
And also, the other thing is, we had some questions about making sure that people knew that you and John believed that Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice, because this is the Fall Feast time of the year, with the Day of Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles.
So maybe you could just reinstate that too.
Just the time frame and... Okay.
Yeah.
And I mean, John and I over and over I have reiterated that the sacrifice of Christ was the once and all atonement for all.
John did a teaching, he took the lead on, what did we call it?
On the priesthood, the true priesthood.
Ancient Priesthood.
I'll find it real quick.
I can't remember what it was called.
I think it was called Ancient Priesthood.
We did it a few weeks ago.
Yeah, and in this teaching, the whole thrust of the teaching was that The Melchizedek has superseded the Levitical, and that the animal sacrifice is done out of here.
I was talking about that last night on FOJC, about the Red Heifer and the Temple of Madness, and the time frame of this took place in the 19th century in England.
The Jesuit infiltration of the Anglican Church was instigated full bore in the 1800s, and it was in 1881 that the Westcott and Hort text appeared, and it took a while for it to to catch on, and that's another whole story.
The way it was caught on, promoted, much of this was as a result of the Jesuit-controlled British press vilifying Simon Simonides and anyone that would stand against Tischendorf and the madness of his Codex Sinatica.
So that's kind of an idea of the time frame.
And I think with that, We're just going to close out.
I want to really thank John, as always, for providing this platform and having a heart for the father that he does.
I want to thank Sister Donna for doing the questions.
And I want to thank so much all of you, the Midnight Ride listeners.
You are just the best.
So, any final words, John?
The show you were talking about is called The Royal Priesthood Lost Identity Forged by Blood.
If people want to go back and check that out, I think it's a very foundational thing that people need to understand.
And it's the meat of the word.
Some of you will not want to listen to it once you start listening to it, but it's the meat of the word, no doubt of it.
Thank you, David.
It is a blessing to be able to listen to this and to learn from you.
This is a continued process for all of us for sure, but I know I can speak for myself and for everybody else listening out there.
Except for the the haters that they're blessed to be able to listen to you in a time like this and also thank you Donna for doing these questions and Putting together slides for David and making it possible For this to happen.
It's a blessing.
I feel like I'm living in an interesting time something that'll go down in history with dealing with this the show and just different things that we are talking about this is A blessed moment, as always, for me.
And Donna, as is obvious, there's hours of work she puts into with me, researching, making slides.
It's a real big thank you to Sister Donna for all that she does.
I couldn't do this without that.
It's so important.
Just again, a big thank you to the Midnight Ride 2 squad.
We love you.
And we will be back next Saturday night, 10 p.m.
Central on the Midnight Ride.
High five, everybody.
We'll see you then.
And I stood upon the sand of the sea and saw a beast rise up, rise up, rise up, rise up.
