Number one, as you should know by now, we do this every broadcast.
So, let's pray for wisdom and understanding.
So, Jesus, Yeshua, Messiah, we come to you once again, and please ask Him not to sound repetitive, because I know you don't like repetitive prayer, but we ask you to forgive us individually of the sins and trespasses, transgressions, abominations, anything bad we may have done.
Figure us individually, Lord, and just pour your blood upon us and just purify us, Lord.
We plead for your blood to cleanse our sins, Lord, and to rid the filth out of our hearts, the dirtiness of our souls, and just make us pure as the Father wants us to be.
And Father, we come before you again.
Again, as I said, not to use repetitive prayer, but once again to ask for the Holy Spirit, the divine Holy Spirit to come upon our hearts, to write your word.
1 Thessalonians chapter 5, upon our hearts, so we know and fully understand your scriptures and the word that you want us to understand.
And please come for everybody and protect us all from the forces of evil.
And fulfill any prayer requests that are within your will.
And once again, you know, the first great commandment, love the Lord thy God with all our hearts and Lord, we love you with all our heart and soul.
And Lord, I just want to say too, we're not perfect.
I'm certainly far from perfect, Lord.
And I just ask you to help me just Help me not to sin.
And it's like every day we struggle, Lord.
And especially in this world here.
And we just ask you to help us not to sin, Lord.
Help us just purify ourselves for you, Lord.
And to do your will as you command us to do.
As we read in the last chapter, to do your will.
And to do your will, Lord, the world's trying to prevent us from doing that.
We ask you to just bind all the evil forces that come against us to make us and force us to go off the path.
And we ask you to help keep us on that straight and narrow.
And we love you so much.
In your mighty name, Amen.
So it's a spiritual warfare, guys.
That's what it is.
You know what I mean?
Every day we deal with struggles, sin, and all that stuff.
You know what I mean?
So it's a spiritual war out there.
We must also, all the time, pray for the anointment of God.
And to protect us all from the force of evil.
And I forgot also to add in the prayer, in Heaven Father, I ask you to baptize us, all of us, baptize us all in the fire of the Holy Spirit.
And to put a wall of fire around us, Lord, that the devil cannot penetrate.
In your mighty name, Amen.
Again.
So, we read the Scripture in context.
Context is key.
Very important to remember this.
And let the Scripture interpret the Scripture.
Let the Holy Spirit teach us.

So let's begin, and this is the final chapter, 1 Thessalonians.
Because we remember the last chapter, Paul started getting to the coming of Jesus Christ.
The prophecies.
And it gets into more details in the next book, 2 Thessalonians.
But this is the last chapter, chapter 5 here of the book of 1 Thessalonians.
So let's begin here.
So, but of the times and seasons, brethren, you have no need that I write unto you.
So as we talked about, let me just go back here.
Because this is where Paul started getting to the return of Jesus, right?
So talk about people, we must believe that Jesus rose again and all that, right?
And the people who sleep in Jesus will bring, will be rose first, right?
And he says that they will rise first, the people in paradise right now, right?
The dead in Christ, the sleeping in Christ will rise first.
I don't like to say dead in Christ because, well yeah, the Bible says that, so yeah.
The dead in Christ shall rise first.
Then the people who are alive, We'll be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, so shall we be with the Lord forever.
And wherefore, comfort one another with these words.
And again, we said in the last chapter, right?
Always remember, if you're feeling the Spirit or a believer, you know, comfort them with their words.
So either if we're dead in paradise, or we're alive on the earth yet, it doesn't matter.
It's a win-win situation with the Lord.
So, moving on.
Paul continues.
So, what does that mean, a thief in the night?
It means you don't know.
And we went through this in Matthew, right?
For yourselves know perfectly that day of the Lord, so comes as a thief in the night.
So what does that mean, a thief in the night?
It means you don't know.
And we went through this in Matthew, right?
Jesus said, do you know when the thief's going to come?
Because if you knew when the thief was going to come, you would lock your stuff up and you'd lock your doors.
You know what I mean?
And you'd be prepared for it.
So the thief could never come, right?
But, you don't know when a thief comes.
You could be, uh, in your house, out of the house, you never know when somebody's gonna break into your house.
Or try to, anyway.
It's not like they announce it, no.
But this is what Jesus is saying, you know, Jesus is saying, and Paul's saying, yeah, that you don't know.
The day of the hour.
And again, for yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord shall come as a deep night, like you don't know.
For when they shall say, Peace and safety.
Whose day?
The world.
Peace and safety.
Then sudden destructions come upon them, as travel upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape.
So this is big right here.
This is lots of context.
So I'm really diving into it.
So, when they say peace and safety, right?
What is the world doing right now?
Everything is about peace and safety.
Peace and safety.
Peace and safety.
The United Nations.
The World Economic Forum.
The Ecumenical Movement.
You know, the false one world religion by the Pope.
That has over 100 religions under his belt that say we all serve the same God, which is blasphemy.
That we all need to unite under one banner.
For peace and safety.
Then you got the world leaders to say we all need to unite as one nation.
A one world government for peace and safety.
To give up your civil liberties for peace and safety.
Then, you know, the Pope, which I believe he's the false prophet of the Antichrist.
The end times false prophet.
That ushers in the Antichrist, right?
He's leading that one world religion right now.
He's fulfilling the prophecies of the Antichrist.
I'm sorry, not the Antichrist, but the false prophet of the Antichrist.
Because remember, when the Antichrist comes to power, right?
He's accompanied with a false prophet.
A very inspirational religious leader.
Who is the most inspirational religious leader on the planet?
It's the Pope.
Which is blasphemy altogether.
You know what I mean?
There's no holiness in the Pope.
None of them are holy.
And no, Peter was not the first pope, if anybody's thinking that.
Peter had nothing to do with that stuff.
That's false claims from the Catholic Church.
So, when the world calls for peace and safety, right?
Sudden destruction is coming upon them.
Look what's going on now.
They got the European Union, the Asian Union, all these unions unifying countries together.
Incrementally into unions, then the One World Government.
They're all called for the One World Government.
Every religious leader, I'm sorry, every world leader, and yes, the Pope too, has called for a New World Order.
That's a One World Government.
That's Antichrist.
Antichrist is One World Kingdom.
And look what's going on.
We're getting more earthquakes than ever.
That's Matthew 24 pointing out.
And like birth pains, right?
A woman with a child?
That's birth pains.
The more the pregnancy goes on, the contraptions get closer together and more severe.
And they shall not escape.
We are in the... Like right now, it is... I don't know when people are going to watch this.
If you're watching it in the premier, you know, whatever.
But it is August 6th of 2024 as I'm recording.
And all hell is breaking loose all over the world right now.
You got China with that stuff going on.
You got Russia and I can't remember all these countries there.
Russia and Ukraine.
Palestine and Israel.
Gaza firing rockets at them right now.
Israel.
These people pointing their guns at the United States because of our idiot president.
Our satanic president I should say.
So this world is in chaos.
We're on the brink of World War 3.
They're talking about nuclear weapons, yeah.
And what did they all talk about too?
Peace and safety, peace and safety, right?
It's not the peace Jesus said that.
Remember Matthew?
He says, the peace that I offer you is not the same as the world.
What they offer you is destruction.
Their version of the United Nations and all that, the so-called peacekeepers, you know, it's not peaceful at all.
And it's certainly not safe.
So when the world leaders come together and all the world's religious leaders join with them to say, we need peace and safety.
It's complete destruction.
Nothing peaceful at all.
It's certainly not safe.
They want you to sacrifice your civil liberties.
For that safety.
And Benjamin Franklin, right?
Let me just go here real quick.
I should have pulled this up earlier.
So it's one of Benjamin Franklin's famous quotes, right?
And there's different versions of it, right?
It's where he added that they can give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty or safety.
So he's basically saying, right, anyone who would give up their liberty for some security is going to get neither.
So you're going to get neither.
Okay.
So, you're certainly not gonna get peace from these people or safety.
And this piece of safety they're telling you, they're telling you you need to give up your liberties.
They said they want to dissolve the U.S.
Constitution and other constitutions from other countries and put a one world government constitution where you have no rights, guys.
This is politically and religiously, if you want to call it that, that they are going to suffocate you.
And under this world government, you saying that Jesus is the only way to heaven is going to land you in jail.
You shut down what they're doing in China right now, and other countries.
Dare you say Jesus is the only way to heaven?
Yeah.
And this ecumenical movement, it's forbidden to say.
The Pope's going around telling people, oh, we all have a way to God.
The ecumenical movement, right?
No, we don't.
Only through Jesus, that's it.
But you, brethren, are not in darkness.
That that day should overtake you as a thief.
So know it's coming.
You're not in darkness because you know about it, right?
But you don't know the day now, of course.
You don't know when it's going to happen.
But be aware of it.
That you're not in darkness about it.
You know about it.
So that day should overtake you as a thief, right?
You are all children of light and the children of day.
We are not of the night nor of darkness.
Children, we, you know, because the Lord says he who is in with you is greater than all the world.
Because he's in with us, right?
That makes us the light.
Because Jesus is the light, the truth.
So we are not in a dark world of darkness.
Therefore, let us not sleep, as others do.
But let us watch and be sober.
So, obviously this is not, you know, people take it different ways, you know what I mean?
It's not saying you shouldn't go to sleep in your bed or anything like that.
No, that's not what it's talking about.
In other words, don't... What's the best way to say this, right?
Don't just sleep on things, if you know what I mean.
Don't just say, I'm going to avoid that.
I'm not going to bother telling people.
I'm not going to worry about things.
I'm just going to live my life, right?
That's what other people do.
The world does that.
They go about their day.
They go to work.
They go to the recreation or whatever they do, right?
They just go about their life.
That's it.
They're sleepwalking, literally.
But let us watch and be sober.
Because Jesus tells us to watch, right?
To be watchmen.
And be sober.
In other words, be... Vigilant.
Be sober, be like a... You know, not open-minded.
I should say, ah, man... Obviously, you know what sober is.
It means like... Sustained from alcohol and drugs and all that stuff, right?
But that means that too.
But to be sober is like, don't let the world get to you.
Keep a...
I would say a spiritual mind.
For they that sleep in the night, you know, for they that sleep, sleep in the night, and they that be drunken are drunk in the night.
So, but let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love.
So remember we read in Galatians, the armor of God, And part of the arm of God with the brush plate is faith. - And of course, the sword is the Word of God.
So the breastplate of faith and love.
For in Helmet, the hope of salvation.
So Paul is talking about Galatians chapter 4.
No, 6, I'm sorry.
For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.
So he's reminding you.
You know all the stuff going on guys.
They're going to call for peace and safety which is the new world order.
Peace and safety is the new world order.
They have already been doing this.
And look at all the destruction that's coming on right now.
And if you can't see that you're blind.
Or you're living under a rock.
So he's telling us in this time guys.
Don't be a slave.
And in the sense that.
Don't.
Be ignorant to what's going on.
Be vigilant to what's going on.
Be sober to what's going on.
And tell... Be watchman to warn other people.
That's our job.
A watchman... What's the point of a watchman if you're not telling other people stuff?
You're not a watchman.
If you're not warning people out there of the stuff that's going on in the world, you're not a watchman.
I had this security for years that's like a watchman, right?
So basically a security job if they see somebody breaking into a building, doing harm to something or alarm goes off for whatever reason, your job is to notify the proper authorities.
A watchman, like the Bible says, right?
A watchman is to, when you see danger, you alert the people that there's danger coming.
Other than that, you're not a watchman.
We're supposed to be watchmen, to watch and report.
So for us, right, God's not appointed us to wrath, but obtained salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.
So who died for us, that whether we awake or sleep, we should live together with him.
So this here, awake or sleep, I think in this matter might be, I think it's a...
Like, um, like spiritually, I don't know how you say this, but if you're dead or alive.
So people are sleeping in Christ, right, or in paradise.
And awake or living, or this could be like wake or sleep, you know, if you're, and I think actually this actually does mean that.
If you're awake right now or you're sleeping right now.
So whether you're awake or you're asleep, that, yeah, we should live together with him.
And it just goes different ways, so... So, wherefore, comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also you do.
What does edify mean?
Correct each other.
Iron sharpens iron.
And here's the thing too, I mean, I've met a lot of ignorant people in the faith.
I'm not talking about unbelievers.
I'm talking about people in the faith.
that dare you correct them.
Like there was a couple of ministries out there that talk about the 200 million man army in Revelation chapter nine.
It's China and Russia.
You see the videos everywhere, right?
No, it's not China and Russia.
We don't have 200 million, I mean, in the world combined.
There's a, all the world's armies combined is only about, I think, 43 million.
And if they read the entire chapter, they would see, read it in context, right?
It's not a human army, it's a spiritual army that comes from the abyss.
So I try to correct the ministries with that, and they're like, oh.
I think one ministry got all of them, like, oh wow, we didn't know that.
So I told them to read it in context, they've seen it, like, oh alright, we're sorry, we're gonna correct ourselves.
But others did it because they're cocky, you know what I mean?
Like, because they think they know it all.
So, that was me edifying him.
And there's people edifying me all the time.
If I messed up a definition or something, whatever the case, I'd be like, hey Dan, blah blah blah.
And I'm like, look, I'm like, alright, I'm sorry, and I repent from that.
Yeah.
If you can't take edification, you don't belong in the faith.
Or teaching, I should say.
We all need to be edified, constantly.
I'm constantly learning.
The day you stop learning, is the day you stop teaching.
Iron sharpens iron, remember that.
So, and we beseech you, urgently, saying, brethren, to know them which are labor among you.
Labor among you is the people who do the work of the Lord.
So know the people who do the work of the Lord among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you.
And admonish...
Bible definition is to counsel or exhort other believers with the intention of helping them grow spiritually.
So over you and the water, I think those are elders or something, people that know a little bit better, have more understanding.
And all of us guys, there's not one of us out there that doesn't have something over us.
Because there's people like David Carrico, you know what I mean?
Like... Yeah, David Carrico, if you know him on nice TV and everything, right?
FOJC Radio.
Yeah.
When it comes to Scriptures, he knows it a million times better than me.
And people will monitor, right?
As to edify you.
To with an intention to help you grow spiritually.
Not to bash you.
Same thing here, right?
To edify one another.
You're not doing it to make them look foolish.
You're not doing it to belittle them.
Same here, right?
Admonish, right?
You're doing it to help the Iron Shepherds Iron.
And people should accept that.
I accept constructive criticism, don't.
That's what we should do.
That's how you grow in the faith.
And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake.
So hold them in high esteem, you know, for people In love with their work sake.
So people who love doing this work.
For the Lord.
They should be esteemed.
And be at peace among yourselves.
So always be at peace.
Now we exhort you brethren.
One them that are unruly.
Comfort the feeble minded.
Support the weak and be patient toward all men.
That's what I'm working on myself.
Because sometimes I don't have patience.
And that's wrong of me.
I should have patience with people.
And that is all men.
So that's believers and non-believers.
Atheists, Satanists, whatever the case, be patient with each other.
And I know it's hard.
It really is.
But that's what we're supposed to do is be patient.
We're supposed to support the weak.
Comfort the feeble-minded.
And warn them that are unruly.
So people who are unruly, you need to warn them.
Say, dude, you got to be careful, man.
You're heading toward hellfire or whatever the case, you know.
And say, I don't love.
Say, I'm not judging you.
I just love you, man.
I don't want to see you going on that way, you know.
And see that one render evil for evil unto any man.
No, no, I'm sorry.
See that no one renders evil for evil.
You know, because people say, this is one of the highly most misinterpreted Bible verses out there.
When they say, an eye for an eye, the Bible does say that, right?
But it doesn't say, live for an eye and an eye.
It says, man says an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.
But it goes on to say, that's not what it's supposed to do.
You don't render evil for evil.
Not to anybody.
So if somebody commits evil, what it's saying, if somebody committed evil against you, It doesn't mean you go do evil against them.
But, I'm sorry, but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves and to all men.
Again, to all men.
Believers and non-believers.
Even the ones who do evil to you, do good unto them.
Rejoice forevermore.
Just constantly rejoice.
Pray without ceasing.
That's praying constantly.
In everything, give thanks.
For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Give thanks to God.
Every time you get in your car and you get to work, thank you God for allowing this vehicle to work properly to get me to work.
Or to church, or whatever you do, right?
Every time you get a bite to eat, some food, thank the Lord for that.
It's always good to give grace.
I don't know why they call it grace.
I never... If anybody knows why they call it grace when you pray for, uh, before your food, I don't know.
I just never understood why they call it grace, but... It... I call it thanks.
You know, give thanks to the Lord.
Unless it's the same thing, whatever the case, but, uh... But, yeah, uh, and everything, give thanks.
Everything.
When you wake up, have a nice breakfast, give thanks for that.
Give thanks that your family's still with you.
Things like that, right?
This is the will of the God.
So if it's the will of God, do it.
In Christ Jesus' concern.
Quench not the Spirit.
Don't quench the Holy Spirit that's in you.
And how do you quench the Holy Spirit?
It's by willingly doing evil.
Sinning, you know, they just say willingly sinning and all that stuff.
You stop quenching the Spirit.
Because the Spirit, the Holy Spirit's fire.
Jesus brings you water baptism.
The Holy Spirit brings you fire baptism.
And fire baptism comes with repentance.
Despise not prophesying.
Don't despise prophesying.
It doesn't mean you're a prophet.
No, you're just relaying what you read.
Like we just showed you, right?
About the coming of Jesus.
We tell the people how Jesus is going to come.
The timelines, basically.
The sequences, I should say.
Don't despise doing that.
The gift of prophecy is amazing.
It's one of the best gifts you can get.
But then, you know, it talks about not everybody gets the gift of prophecy.
Not everybody gets the gift of tongues.
Not everybody gets the gift of healing.
God gives certain people these certain abilities for certain, for his will.
Prove all things.
Hold fast that which is good.
Hold fast means like, be strong.
And which is good.
Abstain from all evil appearance of evil.
The first thing that comes to my mind is dressing up for Halloween.
I don't care if you dress up as an angel.
Abstain from all evil appearance.
Because that's the first thing that comes to my mind.
Because you're appearing... You get the point.
We're having a costume of a day that's evil.
And it could mean a lot of stuff too.
So don't appear as something evil.
And the very God of peace sanctify, what sanctify means set apart you holy.
He sets you apart holy.
And I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
So Paul's saying he prays that we're blameless Our bodies, our minds, our souls, our spirits, our hearts, all that.
Faithful is He that calls you, who also will do it.
So, that's the one.
It's faithful.
That He calls you, you listening right now, me, everybody here, that He calls you, who also is willing to do it.
Brethren, pray for us.
So, at the St.
Paul's, again, in prison, writing this letter to the Thessalonians, that he gave to Timothy to read it to them, right?
Hang on one second, I gotta do something here.
Yeah, okay.
So he's saying, he's asking for prayer, for him and Timothy and all that, right?
And today, right?
Yeah, we all should be praying for each other.
Because I like to talk about what Paul's talking about at the time.
And also sequences into the future.
Greet all the brethren with a holy kiss.
Greet, I'm sorry.
Greet, not great.
Greet all the brethren with a holy kiss.
Let me see what holy kiss is.
I think it's a kiss on the cheek.
Holy kiss is love, respect, and friendship.
Alright, so.
Green in the symbolize of love.
Peace or kiss of charity.
As it was associated with the peace.
All right.
So I think it was back then.
A lot of customs show.
You know, you see people meet each other.
And they kiss each other on each sheet.
And they call it the holy kiss.
It was associated with the peace and unity given by the Holy Spirit to the congregation. - So, a lot of people still do that today.
Because I remember when I was a kid, they were doing that too.
It's greetings, you know what I mean?
And some churches do that.
If you ever noticed a church, they say greet each other when everybody shakes hands or whatever.
And that's around you.
It's something like that, right?
I charge you by the Lord that the epistle be read unto all the holy brethren.
So I was telling Tim at this, yeah, you have to read this to the epistle.
You know what I mean?
I think that's what it's talking about, right?
And the holy brother talking about your fellow believers, right?
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
Amen?
The first epistle to the Thessalonians was written from Athens.
They're rolling, right?
So the first epistle to the death.
So this is an epistle, I'm sorry.
This letter is an epistle.
That's what they called the letters back then.
So, and again, I charge you by the Lord, you know, to tell him, Paul, you're, I'm sorry, Timothy, you're responsible, that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren.
So all the people that, at the Church of Thessalonica, that Timothy was in charge of reading this epistle to the brethren.
So, in today's world, when we read this now, like 2,000 years later just about, we're reading this epistle to our brethren.
That's men and women, children and all that, right?
And grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with all of us.
Amen.
So that concludes the book of 1st Thessalonians.
Awesome book it really is.
And I can't wait to get into 2nd Thessalonians.
There's a lot of prophecy in there.
And we're going to really, really take that home.
We really are.
