if you're receiving this transmission you are the resistance the Declaring war on the New World Order.
truth radio show dot com and welcome to the damn and i show you three show dot com and welcome to the book of collisions chapter So if you missed chapters 1 through 2, stop right there and go back and watch it in our playlist there.
So as always guys, before we begin, we've got a Bible study approach we do at every video.
And we do one chapter at a time if you didn't notice already.
So what we do before we start is we pray for wisdom and understanding.
So let's do that right now.
Join me in prayer.
So Jesus, Yeshua, Messiah.
We come before you to ask forgiveness once again for the sins that we committed today, individually, and please wash us with your precious blood.
And we ask you, Heavenly Father, to give us divine wisdom and understanding today, and to give us the Holy Spirit, the great Comforter, the great Teacher, to write your Word upon our hearts today, and in this case, the book of Colossians, Chapter 3.
And we ask for prayer for everybody that's going through any kind of anguish, or problems, or troubles, spiritually, mentally, physically, whatever.
We ask you to comfort them, and just give them wisdom, give them understanding, give us all wisdom and understanding, and also protection against the forces of evil.
And we love you, Jesus, Yeshua, Messiah, Heavenly Father, Holy Spirit, we love you with all our heart and soul.
In your mighty name we pray, Amen.
So, what we do is read description and context.
Very important, because context is key.
And let the Holy Spirit speak through you to interpret it.
This is why context is important.
And if you got a Bible guys, please open it up at ShakeYourWakeRadio.com.
Thank you for carrying the show on your awesome, amazing network, which is an audio network.
So I would strongly advise you to open up your own Bible, because I do want people to read them for themselves.
That's why I put this all the time.
Don't take my word or anybody else's word for it.
Read it for yourselves.
Very important to do that.
So, and if you're watching on a video here, we got the King James Bible up on the screen.
And yeah, so if you go to truthradioshow.com, we have all the series from Matthew up to here, Ecclesiastes chapter 3.
So, let's continue here with Paul.
Now, if you then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God.
So if you be risen with Christ, right?
You become a new creature, born again and all that, right?
Seek the things which are above.
And this, you know, this kind of, actually does, not kind of, it does debunk a lot of the prosperity gospels out there.
The ministries and all that, it's all about riches and all that stuff.
That's not what the Bible says.
We're supposed to store our treasures in heaven, not here on earth.
Now, if you're rich, you got money, there's nothing wrong with that.
But use it for good, because when Jesus says it is More easier to go to a camel to go past with an iron needle than a rich man to obtain heaven.
Because money corrupts.
And he wants us to seek the treasures of heaven.
Not on the earth where moth and dust corrupt.
And our deeds could break in the still.
They can't do that in heaven.
So Paul's just literally saying what Jesus said.
If you're with Christ, right?
Seek the things which are above.
The heavenly realm.
Which Christ sits on the right hand of God.
And I want to point it out too, because a lot of people say, well, how's Christ sitting on the right hand of God, but also in paradise?
Because Mary told the man on the cross, from this night forward, you'll be with me in paradise.
So, Christ is omnipresent.
Christ could be right here by our sides, in front of us, in front of a million people at once, to help them out, at the right hand of God, and also in paradise.
So, you know, because you get a lot of people Bible scoffers.
And the thing is, um, people won't comprehend this.
If they're thinking with the carnal mind.
You got to think with the spiritual mind, the Holy Spirit.
It's very important to understand that as well.
So, set your affection on the things above, not things on the earth.
Again, so we're saying, Well, if you're to be risen with Christ, seek the things which are above where Christ sits on the right hand of God.
Set your affection on the things above and not on the earth.
And obviously we need things to survive while we're in the flesh and the earth, right?
He's not talking about that.
He's saying if you seek the big treasures and all that stuff you want.
In other words, seek things that are internal.
You know, because everything we get today, you get a new car, eventually it's going to break down, eventually it's going to be old, right?
You get a new house, eventually it's going to need repairs, and then old and you have to move out of there, right?
Anything you want on the earth here is going to fade away.
The treasures and stuff in heaven never fade away, they're eternal.
For you are dead and your life is hid with Christ and God.
And when Christ, who is your life, our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with Him in glory.
So again, we're all appointed, you know, the Bible says we're all appointed to die once, unless you're one of the lucky ones to see Him come to the clouds.
So, we're dead, right?
We, you know, we're most likely going to face death.
But our life is hidden with Christ.
So when Christ appears, right?
Yeah, who is your life?
Christ is your life.
That's his return, right?
Remember in Matthew 24 when he says, immediately after the tribulation, not before, immediately after the tribulation, that Jesus comes to the clouds of great power and glory, then his angels blow the trumpets and gather the elect from the four winds of the earth, The dead in Christ will rise first than us if we're alive at the time.
We caught up.
So mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth.
So mortify, right?
And, um, let me see.
They say this all the time, guys.
If you don't know what a word means, look it up.
Make sure you look up the biblical version.
Verse, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, biblical meaning.
Put the word and put biblical meaning.
Because again, things change, I say this all the time.
Words change over the years.
So if you look at the biblical, what it meant back then, to put to death, to take away.
For if you live after the flesh, you shall die, right?
So that's what this is saying, right?
So, verse 5, mortifying, put to death.
I already looked that up ahead of time, yeah?
that's sexual sin, uncleansiness, inordinate affection, and inordinate affection, I already looked that up ahead of time here, which means it's an unhealthy or obsessive attachment to a person or a thing that manifests through uncontrollable wealth. which means it's an unhealthy or obsessive attachment to a Anything outside of, or inside of God that you are willing to suffer for.
Well, that's, yeah, this is what we're talking about here.
You know what I mean?
Like an unhealthy obsessive attachment to a person.
Like massive lust for a certain person.
Stuff like that, right?
An evil, conspicuous, which is a tendency of humans to sin.
I hope I said that right.
The simple meaning of conspicuous.
strong desire to sin.
And covenantness is, you know, wanting what others have.
Which is idolatry.
Now I want to point this out, right?
And I'm going to keep saying this over and over again, right?
Because I have to say this because I don't know how many times, how many people, how many ministers still think because of dispensationalism that the Ten Commandments are no longer valid.
Well, guess what?
Hold on.
Second.
Idolatry, right?
Isn't that a Second Commandment violation?
Covenant says.
Isn't that not the Tenth Commandment?
.
Fornication will fall under the 6th... I mean under the 7th commandment.
Don't commit adultery.
Sorry guys.
Don't commit adultery.
And Jesus did say, you know, it's not necessary to just sleep with a married person.
It's looking upon another person with lust and you already committed fornication in your head with him.
So you got three commandments within this one verse.
So if the commandments are abolished, you might want to ask, well, hold on.
Why is he mentioning these three commandments?
He's telling you to put these things away.
For which of the things he has saked, the wrath of God comes unto the children of disobedience.
So he's telling you, right?
Yeah.
These things, you've got to bring the wrath of God upon you. .
So, if the commandments and laws are abolished, why would it be mentioned again?
Again, and again, and again.
If these things were abolished or put away.
Because, you know, a lot of people think grace is a free pass to offend.
They miss quote Paul all the time, and we showed you over and over again.
They want to continue to do that.
That Paul never says no such thing.
So in the which you also walked sometime when you lived in them.
Thank you.
Thank you.
So when you're living in the stuff we walked, you know, some time and living in, right?
So, but now you also put off all these anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communications out of your mouth.
50 communications like dirty jokes and just talk about perverted.
Now as a guy, I mean, I'm ashamed to say it, but yeah.
As a guy, I've done that.
All right, so we're supposed to put these things.
Oh, sorry guys.
I messed this up.
You put off all these things.
So, lying not to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds.
So, here we go.
Why?
What's that?
Oh, here we go.
Is that a 9th commandment violation?
So, another commandment listed.
So, if the commandments are abolished, why would he say that again?
Yeah, four commandments already, right?
So, don't lie to one another.
Seeing that you have put off the old man with disease.
The old man means your old self.
So don't lie to one another.
Because you put off, in other words, you... Because when you became born again, right?
As the beginning of the chapter said, right?
You're risen again with Christ inside of you.
Your old self is dead.
For you are dead.
And your life is hidden with Christ and God, right?
You're born again.
So again, don't lie to one another.
Seeing that you have put off your old man with his deeds.
So all the deeds he did with evil deeds as your former self.
Don't do them again.
You have put off the new man.
So you put on a new man to be born again.
Your old man is dead.
Your old self is dead.
And now you're a new man.
Which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him.
And who's that?
That's God.
The Father.
Where there is neither Greek or Jew, circumcision or non-circumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bond or free, but all, I'm sorry, but Christ is all, in all, in all.
So we heard that before, right?
Neither Jew or Greek, right?
We're all equal.
equal.
So, put on therefore as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercy, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, humbleness of mind, meekness, and long suffering.
And if you know what long suffering is, it's like basically enduring something.
Sometimes things could be a struggle, right?
And we do things for good.
It can be a struggle.
Endure it.
So you gotta put these things on.
In other words, do these things.
As the elect of God.
We are the elect of God.
You believe in God, you become born again, you become the elect.
And it's so much entitled when you become a child of God.
You're adopted child of God.
You become the elect.
You become a saint.
You're grafted into God's spiritual Israel.
and your ears to the promise again yeah it doesn't matter with your jew or greek Circumcised or not.
Doesn't matter if you're a barbarian, a Scythian, or free of bonds, or a slave, yes, that means slave, but Christ is all.
And in all.
So it doesn't matter what this fits you, right?
Whatever you fit to this.
You believe in Christ, you're just as equal as a person who's not a slave.
Or circumcised or not circumcised.
And I want to point out, because I've been seeing this lately, I need to do a show on this.
There's a lot of people out there saying that Jesus only came for the Hebrews.
He's only here to save Hebrews, not you.
Which, the Bible says no such thing, because why would he say Jew or Greek?
Now in Jewish custom laws, you have to be circumcised.
So why is he saying I'm circumcised?
Free a bond, you know what I mean?
Everybody, doesn't matter what color or race you are, you all, all of us, have a chance to be saved.
And again, if you're not a Jew, right?
You are grafted into God's Israel as a spiritual Jew.
Doesn't matter, you could be full-blooded Italian.
What you believe, you become a spiritual Jew.
So if anybody is to tell you, hey, only the Hebrews, the Jews, are going to go to heaven.
Jesus only came for them.
No, no such thing.
Because why would the Bible waste, you know, why would the Scriptures, God's Word actually, right?
Waste His time to talk to Gentiles?
Makes no sense, right?
But, put on therefore, as the elect of God, Like be, you know, with the elect of God, right?
Act like that.
Walk like that.
To be holy and beloved.
Bows of mercies.
Have mercy on people.
Be kind to them.
Be humble.
Humbleness of mind as well.
Be meekness, right?
And what's meekness?
What do you call that?
Meekness.
It's an attitude or quality of heart.
Whereby a person willing to accept and submit without resistance to the will and desire of someone else.
Tell people!
And won't suffer like I said.
Let me get the... I don't know how that came out like that.
Longsuffering is someone who shows restraint when stirred to anger.
Alright, yeah, it's enduring, like I said.
When somebody's like, spitting in your face, yelling and all that stuff, and you try to preach the word.
Yeah, you need to endure.
You know what I mean?
Like, hey, you know, show restraint.
Forbearing one another, which is showing patience even though the thing is owed to us.
And I want to point out, like I say this all the time guys, never be afraid, or ashamed, or whatever, if you're in some kind of Bible study group, to ask what a word means.
And if the person teaching the Bible study says, oh, I don't want to do that right now, well tell them, you know what, I'm done with this Bible study.
And I want to point that out too, because I've been saying this for a while, about stopping the Bible study to ask what a word means.
I've never addressed this part yet.
Because some people would be like, you know, just hold off the questions until we're done.
So the thing is, you go through the whole Bible, I mean the whole study, right?
You don't know what that word means, that word means, and what you learn out of that?
Nothing.
So the person teaching the Bible study, say, you know, hold on one second.
Say, no disrespect to you, brother or sister, but I don't know what that word means.
So if I don't know what that word means, you want me to wait till the study's over?
I'm going to completely forget.
And at that time, I just lost the entire study.
Because that one little word, just say forebear, right?
You don't know what that word means?
That could change the entire outcome of this rush, and probably the rest of the study.
So just a note for people out there, like for people who don't know what the word means.
Make sure you look it up.
Or have the person that's doing the study give you the definition of it.
Because it'll change the whole outcome.
And note for you people who do run Bible studies, right?
Be patient.
There's no way in heck that you should have a timer to teach the Bible.
Oh, I only got 20 minutes to teach this.
Well, too bad.
If you're going to put a timer on it, don't even do it.
That goes for pastors out there, too.
So if you need to run your sermon, that's going to take-- you had planned that for doing it 20 minutes, and it's going to take 30 minutes, well, too bad.
If you don't know the meaning of a certain word, yeah, it will derail the entire study.
Then the person is lost for the rest of the study.
Especially if they run into another word that they don't know what it means.
And guess what?
Would you learn out of it?
Nothing!
That's why I took the time, because I didn't know what it meant either.
To look into these words.
So now you get a full understanding of the context.
And I'm not a perfect speaker, I botch these words left and right.
But what I do know, and good at, because of the Lord, thank the Lord, is looking up the definitions.
Taking time, being patient.
I'm just gonna stop going into these rants here.
So yeah, forbearing to one another, and getting forbearing as well.
Showing patience, even though things are, is owed to us.
So be patient to one another, right?
And forgiving one another.
Forgiving each other.
So if somebody trespasses against you, forgive them, because the Lord will not forgive you, as we already studied that a while back.
Jesus says, if you don't forgive somebody else, guess what?
He's not going to forgive you.
That's people who do things bad against you, right?
Forgive one another.
So if a man have a quarrel against any, even as Christ forgave you, so will you also do.
And then these false ministries bash Paul all the time.
And I read some moron, I shouldn't even say that, but some idiot, I'm just trying to be nice here, that would say, oh, Christianity is just the gospel of Paul.
It's not of Christ.
Yeah, it is Christ, because all Paul is doing is reciting the Christ line.
Didn't he not read when we read about Jesus speaking?
Didn't he not say this?
And any religion or ministry or whatever that bashes Paul, you need to walk out of that place.
And that would be the Essenes, the Gnostics, the Kabbalah, the Talmud, all that stuff.
Because they hate Paul with a passion.
Because Paul was already affected.
So any ministry or church or religion that bashes Paul, you need to walk out of that.
Because all Paul is doing is reciting what Jesus said.
And you can go look that up, Jesus said exactly that.
So again, to show patience with one another, forgive each other, and if any man has a quarrel against you, anybody else, right?
Even as Christ forgave you, you also forgive them.
And above all these things, put on charity, which is the bond of perfection.
Right?
It's the highest form of love. .
So, put on means have the highest form of love.
Signifying the reciprocal love between God and man that is made manifest an unselfish love to one another, God's fellow man.
So above all, because God says what?
Love, right?
It's the first and greatest commitment.
Love other people as you love yourself.
So put on that charity, that love.
Which is the bond of perfection.
Love perfection.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts.
To which you are also called into one body.
And be thankful.
So we're called into one body.
What's that mean?
That's the church, the body of Christ.
We are the Christ.
I'm sorry, we're not the Christ, I'm sorry.
We are the church of Christ.
We're the body of Christ.
Not a church or religion, we the people.
I'm the church, you're the church, we are the church.
We the people that believe in Jesus are the body of Christ.
And be thankful So, let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, like abundantly, that's what that means, right?
Richly, abundantly, and all wisdom.
So let the word of Christ, we'll read it now, this is the word of Christ, dwell in you richly with all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another.
And I think admonishing means, I think it's admonishing, To put in mind, to caution, to reprove gently, and to warn.
Alright, so... So let the word of Christ, you know, the scriptures here, dwell in you richly.
In all wisdom.
As we're doing right now, right?
Teaching and admonishing one another.
Now again, we're teaching.
We teach the scriptures to one another.
And admonishing.
So admonishing is to reprove gently.
So in other words, to correct people.
But do it gently.
You don't say, oh, you stupid moron, you know, like that because you're saying it wrong.
No.
You say, you know, brothers and sisters, this is what the scripture says.
And again, the Bible says, you know, we need to lean on God, not on our own interpretation, right?
So if somebody corrects you when they show you the biblical proof, swallow your pride.
I've done that a million times.
I took a bigger piece of humble pie many times over.
Because there should be no ego doing the scriptures, when you read the scriptures.
Because all we are is reading the word of God.
We're not, this is not Dan Bodondi being a spiritual leader.
No, this is me being a vessel of God, for God I should say.
A messenger just reciting the word, like Paul, who Paul is one of the most humblest people.
He said this is the word of God, this is not of my own.
That's what we need to do, right?
And we need to correct each other, admonish one another.
In psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus.
So in word or deed, in other words, you teach in the scriptures, right?
And helping people.
Do it all in the name of Jesus Christ.
Giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.
So do all things in Jesus.
And give thanks to the Father.
Now wives, right?
Submit yourselves unto your husbands.
As it is fit in the Lord.
So what does that mean?
Be a slave to your husband?
No.
Not at all.
We went over this a ton of times, I'm thinking Matthew.
It means, submit yourselves to them.
And I'm going to be blunt with you guys, so... When... In other words, if your husband wants to have sexual relations, you're not supposed to deprive him.
Unless you're sick or something like that.
Don't put, oh, you know, I'm too tired.
Oh, I don't know, you know, I'm just like, don't feel it.
No!
Because if you deprive your husband, it can lead to problems.
And the same thing goes for you men too.
Same thing.
So cement yourselves unto your husbands.
And again, it doesn't mean be a slave to them, no.
That's not what it's saying.
And it's not just sex too, it's just other things still.
Comfort, and whatever the case, always make time for your husband.
And again, the same way it's for us.
And it's fitting the Lord.
Husbands, here we go, right?
Love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
Don't come home and take, you had a bad day at work, or you went somewhere, something went wrong.
Don't come home and take it out on your wife.
Like, you know, you come home in a bad mood, right?
And for whatever reason, your wife comes up to you, hey baby, and sits down, you know, wants to cuddle next to you, and you're like, oh, you know, I don't feel like doing this right now.
I'm all, you know, mad and angry.
You take him out on her and you don't realize it.
For whatever reason, whatever the case, don't be bitter against them.
Now, if you just read this, right?
Obey your parents in all things.
For this is well-pleasing as a God.
Be obedient.
Now, if you just read this, right?
You all know you heard this before.
Yeah, you did.
Actually, a couple times as we went through the scriptures.
Started from Matthew, right?
Jesus himself said the same things for Baal.
So, yeah, there you go.
You know what I mean?
And Paul was reciting what he was taught by the Lord.
And fathers, and we heard this a lot of times too, right?
Fathers, provoke not your children's anger.
Don't provoke your children's anger.
Lest they be discouraged.
Yeah, you discipline them when they do wrong, right?
But don't purposely provoke your kids to say no.
Because you're going to discourage them and turn them away.
And Jesus spoke the same thing.
Again, Paul is just reciting what he learned from Jesus.
Now servants, obey all things your master according to the flesh.
Now, in this world we're in today, right?
Like back then, if you had a job, too.
You know, it's not necessary to say you're a slave.
Servants would be like, we're a servant, right?
The company you work for, right?
You're a servant to your boss.
Which is like, a boss would be like a master.
But you don't call him master, because the Lord said, don't call any man upon you as master, rabbi, or father.
But it's the same expression.
So, obey your bosses.
According to the flesh, right?
And not with eye service.
Or men pleasers.
But in the singleness of heart of God.
So let me see what iService means.
is that one word here which is a a conduct of slaves who work only when they are watched
Oh, alright, yeah, okay.
I'm teaching about this.
So, ice service is like basically, um...
Again, it doesn't matter if you're a slave or not.
You know, there's barely any slaves anymore today.
Basically, if you're at your job, right?
And you're slacking off.
You see a boss or a supervisor come walking around the corner.
Then you stop working, right?
And when a boss or supervisor walks away, you stop working.
That's what that means.
Don't be that.
Do your job accordingly.
As men pleases.
If you want to know men, please, this is.
Individuals who seek to gain favor or approval from others.
Often at the expense of integrity of genuine principles.
So people, and you see these people in the workplace all the time.
You know what I mean?
They, I-Service, in other words, you only see them actually work when the boss or supervisor is around, right?
Or whatever the case, right?
And they only do things, you know, and this could be in a job or at your home.
Just do anything they do, they do it to seek attention.
To gain favor of people and to make, you know, basically put on a show in front of people.
They can't be themselves, they gotta always, constantly, And we know, we all know people like that.
They gotta constantly do whatever to make themselves somewhat look better than, you know what I mean?
It's ridiculous.
But in the singleness of the heart, there's a fear in God.
So don't do these things but stay in the singleness of the heart.
Fear in God.
And whatsoever you do, do it hard way.
And that's all right.
A complete fool will have an integrity perfect, right?
So do it with all your heart.
That's what it really means.
To do it with all your heart as to the Lord and not unto men.
So whatever you do, right?
Do it with all your heart.
Do it to the best of your ability.
As to the Lord and not unto men.
So even if you just say you're a mechanic, you recognize that, right?
Work and do it your best ability.
By doing it to the Lord.
You're not there to do it for, you know, yeah, you want to impress your boss and all that, yeah, I understand that, right?
But most of all, do it to the Lord.
Say, hey, listen, I'm gonna do everything I can do to the best of my ability for the Lord.
And not unto men.
Knowing that the Lord shall receive the reward.
So yeah, knowing that of the Lord, you shall receive... I butchered that up, I'm sorry guys.
So once again, verse 24.
Knowing that of the Lord, you shall receive the reward of inheritance, for you serve the Lord Christ.
We talked about that, right?
We are heirs to the inheritance, the promise of God's kingdom.
Again, knowing that you're of the Lord, you will receive, you shall receive the inheritance for you serve Christ Jesus.
But he that does wrong shall receive for the wrong which he has done and there is no respect of that person.
And of course it continues on to chapter 4.
Which I believe that's the last chapter, I believe, yep.
Yeah, there's only four chapters in this book, yeah.
So, again, we only do chapter by chapter in the study, yeah.
So, yeah, thank you guys for joining us.
