- If you're receiving this transmission, you are the resistance. you are the resistance.
Declaring war on the New World Order.
TruthRadioShow.com And welcome to the Dan Bedani Show at TruthRadioShow.com And welcome to the book of Philippians We've got four chapters and of course we do one chapter at a time for each video here.
So this is Paul's letter to his partners, you know, fellow disciples and all that.
So this is a very awesome book here, you know, it's a source of joy and strength.
Basically Paul is encouraging his fellow disciples.
So, like always guys, we got a special prayer, I'm sorry, a special Bible study approach we do before reading the Bible.
And if you actually just tuning into this guys, if you go to playlist, we got Matthew, you know, start with the book of Matthew.
If you already caught up, you know, obviously we'll start here new with a brand new book.
So, I'm excited for this book here.
And again, it's about encouragement and everything else.
So, if you go to Bible Guys, please grab your Bible, and we encourage you to read it for yourselves.
But before we begin, we do this Bible study approach at every one of these shows.
So, every one of these broadcasts.
So, number one, we pray for wisdom and understanding.
So, let's do that right now.
Very important to do.
So, Jesus, Yeshua, Messiah, we come before you and ask you for forgiveness of each of us, individually, of the sins we committed, any transgressions or abominations, Anything bad we've done, Lord, we ask you for forgiveness.
And please, like, just dip our garments in your precious blood.
Make them pure and white before the Father.
And thank you so much for advocating for us.
Thank you for just doing what you do.
And what you've done, and to do with fraternity.
We love you so much with all our heart and soul.
And Heavenly Father, we love you with all our heart and soul.
And thank you so much for everything.
And we ask you to give us the Divine Holy Spirit, the Great Comforter, the Great Teacher, to write your word upon our hearts today in Philippians chapter 1.
To give us wisdom and knowledge through the Holy Spirit.
And Holy Spirit, we invite you into our heart and our soul, into our body, into our mind, to deliver us great wisdom and understanding.
And we pray for everybody here today that's going through any kind of physical, mental, spiritual, any kind of problems going on.
We ask you to comfort them, Lord, in us and protect us all from the forces of evil.
And bless this broadcast and bless everybody here.
In your mighty name we pray.
Amen.
So we read the scripture in context because context is key.
Very important to understand that.
And let the scripture interpret scripture.
What does that mean?
Let the Holy Spirit interpret it.
Don't lean on your own understanding.
Let the Holy Spirit work through you.
To understand the scripture.
This is not a race to read the scripture, as we point out every time we go to a new book.
This is not a race.
And so, if you've got the Bible here, you can clearly see Philippians chapter 1 is already, let me see, 30 verses here.
So, theoretically, you can read through this in probably a minute or two.
But, again, we have to point this out all the time when we're studying new books.
We don't do it that way.
This is not a marathon.
This is not a magazine you just read through or A novel.
You know, this is the Bible.
We need to understand every single word, and if you don't know what the word means, by all means, like, just stop what you're doing, go look it up in the dictionary, and look up the biblical meaning.
Very important to do, because words change meanings over the years, so you need to work up, look up, I'm sorry, the biblical meaning of the word.
So, again, we have to point all this stuff out because sometimes I forget too.
So, it's a constant reminder.
So, let's begin.
And if you've got a Bible, please open it up at ShakeAwakeRadio.com.
Thank you for carrying these shows right on your awesome network.
It's an audio network.
So, if you're listening on ShakeAwakeRadio.com, please open up your own Bible.
And we've got it up on screen for the YouTube people here.
So, here we go.
Philippians chapter 1.
Again, Paul's letter to his fellow apostles.
So, Paul and Timothy, the servants of Jesus Christ, To all saints in Christ Jesus, which are at Philippi, with bishops and deacons.
So this is, you know, again, not just the apostles, I should point out, this is just Paul's partners, people in the faith, in the ministry, that's working with Paul to bring the word of Jesus Christ to the land.
So he says, Grace be unto you in peace, and from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
I thank God upon every remembrance of you.
Always and every prayer of mine for you making requests with joy.
For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now.
So basically, you know, from when the ministry started and when, you know, Paul, Saul became Paul, he became an apostle for Jesus Christ.
Appointed by Jesus Christ and groomed by Jesus Christ.
Literally, you know, he made Saul blind because he was, you know, killing followers of Jesus Christ.
And completely converted him to be from a murderer of, you know, what we call Christians today, into one of the greatest apostles there is.
And one of the most effective apostles.
Now I want to point out again, it's not a coincidence that so many false religions, the Essenes, the Gnostics, the Kabbalah, And people who study the Talmud and all that, they hate Paul with a passion.
Aside from Jesus Christ, they hate Paul the second most.
Because Paul was very effective.
So I just want to point that out there.
So don't listen to any lies or rumors from these organizations or these religions or cults.
They're all lies.
They try to downplay Paul and say he tried to go straight from Jesus.
No.
As we've been following Paul here, he did nothing but recite verbatim what Jesus taught him.
So, verse 6, being confident of this very thing, that He which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Christ.
A good work in you to perform it, right?
So basically, you know, we understand grace saves, we've been over this a million times.
Grace which saves, absolutely, not works.
But however, Once you become a believer, you need to produce good fruit.
You need to do good works.
You can't just sit in the pews all day and not pay attention to the world out there.
You need to go out and minister to the world.
Somehow, someway.
So, even as it meet for me to think that this of all you, all of you, I'm sorry.
Because I have you in my heart, is so much as both in my bonds.
And in defense of confirmation of the gospel, you are all partakers of my grace.
So Paul, you know, he's very humble.
As you can see, he's been following us through these books.
Very, very humble.
And, you know, again, he went from murder to one of the best apostles there is, right?
So, but he's always very humble.
And in defense and confirmation of the gospel, Basically, you know, a preacher of the gospel.
So, for God is my record.
How greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
Well, basically God is his witness, right?
And he longs after you all.
In other words, he cares for you.
When you long for somebody, you care for somebody.
You love them, you know what I mean?
In the bowels of Jesus.
In other words, in Jesus Christ.
All of us in the Church of Christ, right?
It's the body of Christ.
It's us.
Not a ministry, I'm sorry, not a religion or a building, you know.
We are the church, you know.
So he's saying for all of us, you know.
And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all judgment.
So use love and judgment, you know, and that, you know, don't don't judge somebody with hate and all that stuff, right?
We can go on forever with this, you know, about judgment and they can sound mindly.
And making, you know, judgments on things, determination on what we're going to do.
Try to always go about it without hatred in your heart and resentment and all that.
Because you'll never have a clear head to make a rightful judgment on something, you know?
So, that you may approve things that are excellent.
that you may be sincere without offense till the day of Christ.
So, you be sincere about things without offense, they're basically offended, you know, until the day of Jesus Christ.
And that's, you know, the thing is we're not out to offend people, but you're out to tell the truth.
I want to point that out, you know what I mean?
And if somebody's doing something evil, yeah, you got to tell them the truth.
If it offends them, it offends them.
Well, in other words, don't go purposely offend somebody.
Just for the heck of it.
But sometimes you need to, to tell them the truth.
To wake them up.
You know what I mean?
If that makes any sense to you.
And by the way guys, if you need any clarification.
The first book is always a little quick.
Because it's an introduction.
You know?
The first chapter I should say.
But if you need any clarification on something.
Please hit me up in the comment section.
And when this we do have a live premiere.
So when I premiere this there's a live chat.
So pay attention to that.
It's usually Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
I do these shows and we have a live chat 6 p.m.
Eastern a live chat that you could fellowship in the chat.
We encourage you to do that.
And again, you know, if you need clarification, just let me know where it is.
So, verse 11, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ unto the glory of praise of God.
So, being filled with the fruits of righteousness.
What's the fruits, right?
It's the works, the good works of righteousness.
And, but I would, you should understand Brethren, that the things that which happen unto me have fallen out, rather, unto the furtherance of the gospel.
So he's saying that you should understand, brethren, that the things that happen unto me have fallen out, rather, unto the furtherance of the gospel.
So basically he's saying it's not about me, it's about the gospel.
You know, all the stuff that Paul's been through, he's saying it's not about that, it's about the gospel.
So that my bonds in Christ, bonds in Christ means, like, he's convicted, you know, of following of Jesus.
When he said in the books past that he's a slave to Jesus.
And it's not in a bad way, I just want to point that out.
He's not being whipped and chained, whatever the case is.
No, that's not what he means.
Bonds, slavery and all that.
No, it's willingly he's into that.
In other words, it's good because if you follow Jesus, you love him, you're going to obey him.
So you're in bonds with his covenant.
And there's nothing wrong with it, it's great, you know?
So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all palaces and in all other places.
So, it's manifest in all places.
Basically to show everybody who you are, you know what I mean?
You produce good works and fruit and everything else and you do good for people.
It magnifies your commitment to Jesus Christ.
And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident in my bonds, are much more bold to speak the words without fear.
And I think that's today too, guys, especially today.
We need to speak the word of God with boldness.
Because you see people at LGBT rallies speaking the word of God, they get viciously attacked, they go to different rallies and events, they speak the word of God and they get stuff thrown at them, they get beat up, whatever the case, but they speak with boldness and without fear.
You can't have fear.
Especially if you suffer persecution, especially in these times.
But, out of that persecution, you gotta wake somebody up.
You gotta plant the seed in somebody.
And you're glorifying the Lord.
And so, uh, what does waxing mean?
Yeah, so... Waxing.
Bible.
Definition.
So, always the Bible definition, guys.
Type that in.
So, meaning to grow.
Alright, so waxing means to grow.
So, and again, I say this all the time.
If you don't know what a word means, it can literally change the outcome of an entire verse.
So even if you're in a group study, guys, don't ever be ashamed or afraid to ask what a word means.
And don't say to yourself, well, I'm going to feel stupid or look stupid if I ask what that means.
So what?
And nobody's going to think of that.
Because some people in there might say the same thing, oh, I wish I knew the meaning of that.
But they're afraid to speak out, saying, no, what's that mean?
Before we go any further.
This way you get the full visualization of the verse.
So, waxen means to grow.
Biblical definition.
So, in many brethren in the Lord, waxen to grow confident.
So, growing confidence by bonds are much more bold to speak the words without fear.
So, to speak boldly, to speak without fear, you need to be confident, right?
You need to grow in confidence.
To be a good speaker, or to be an effective person.
You need to grow in confidence, right?
Wax in confidence.
Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife, and some also of goodwill.
So, there's two people that preach Christ, right?
Of envy and strife, and some of goodwill.
And the one that we can sit here and determine what this means, but let the Bible interpret itself.
Let's see what else it says, right?
Very important to read stuff in context because you can take that for whatever you want, right?
So let's read what the Bible says to interpret what this means.
The one that preaches Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposedly to add affliction to my bonds, but the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defense of the gospel.
So, envy and strife is speaking, yeah, it's in contention, but not necessarily, right?
Christ is preached, and I therein do rejoice.
Yea, I will rejoice.
So envy and strife is speaking, yeah, it's in contention, but not sincerely, right?
Still speaking the word, but yeah, but if you speak of goodwill, which means of love, it goes a long way.
In other words, if you went up to a person that's, you know, likes, um, the rainbow stuff, okay?
And I gotta watch what I say here on YouTube.
So, if you went up to a person that likes the rainbow stuff, and you wanna, you know, just sit there, you're gonna go over to Hades, blah, blah, blah, right off the bat, right?
Yeah, you're gonna turn them away.
And that's out of strength.
Right?
Out of love, you'd be, hey, listen, brother or sister, listen.
I love you, and I don't wanna see you perish, man.
I'm not judging you, I'm not your judge, but I'm just trying to warn you of the sin that you're doing.
And I want you to go to heaven with me.
You know what I mean?
And I don't want to see you perish.
That goes a much longer way than sitting there and ripping somebody apart like that.
You know what I'm saying?
So, I think that's a good definition of, you know, basically an example of what he's trying to say here.
So, what then, and I would stand in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached, and I therein will rejoice.
Yea, I will rejoice.
For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, in the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
So... He's talking about his salvation because he teaches people, right?
And he's reflecting his salvation to people through that prayer.
And a supplier of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
So what's that Spirit of Jesus Christ?
What is that Spirit of God?
That's called the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Jesus.
So according to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed.
But that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life or by death.
So according to his most important expectations, right?
I think that's, uh... I forgot what earnest meant, so... Earnest... Bible definition is abundantly, more exceedingly, more frequently, right?
So...
He, according to my abundant, more frequent expectations, and my hope, that, and nothing I shall be ashamed of.
So, don't be ashamed about speaking to God.
But that with all boldness, be bold and brave, as always.
So now, also, Jesus be magnified in my body.
So, if you're bold and brave when you're speaking in the Spirit, You're not, you know, the glory doesn't go to you, of course.
You are magnifying Jesus Christ.
Through you.
Because Jesus says to be the light and salt of the earth, right?
And whether it be by life or by death.
You know, and if they kill you, whatever the case, whatever, but don't ever be afraid, don't be ashamed, and speak with boldness, no matter what the consequences are.
And for to me, to live, is in Christ.
Is this clear?
And to die is to gain.
So what does that mean?
So let's find out.
Another example of reading context.
We can sit there and interpret all we want.
What does this mean?
But you keep reading, it tells you what it means.
This is called reading something in context.
So, but if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labor.
Yet what I shall choose I won't want.
Now, for I am in a straight beech-wixed till, You know, if I know what that means, yeah?
Having a desire to depart, but to be with Jesus Christ, which is far better.
So, to live in, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Let me see here.
Let me see what B-Twix.
B... It's an intermediate position.
So I am straight into intermediate position, too.
So, alright.
So, again, for me to live is Christ.
And for me to die is the game.
So if you're dying for Christ, you might lose life here, but you're going to do the second life.
Which is the game.
It's much better, okay?
And yes, granted, to live here right now, it's a blessing.
No doubt.
Nobody wants to die, but you know what?
But to die is the actual gain.
Because you go to the eternal life and it's better.
And you know what I mean?
It's great.
But if I live in the flesh... This is the food of my label.
And living in the flesh has a lot of obstacles.
Yeah, we all go through it.
You know, temptations and all that stuff, right?
To leave the sin and everything.
Yeah, and this is the fruit of my labor.
So, basically, the stuff you do in the flesh, it could be, you know, magnifying Jesus, and it could be defying Jesus.
And yet, whether I shall choose, I will not.
For I am in a straight matrix to Straight, which is between an intermediate position.
Alright, it's in between, okay?
An intermediate position.
My bad.
So betwixt means between an intermediate position.
An important position.
So you say, I am in between two.
Straight in between.
Two, right?
Which is what?
The flesh and the spirit.
Having to desire to depart and to be with Christ, which is far better.
So, what he's saying is, he's in between still, right?
He wants to live and preach the word of God, but he also wants to be with Christ.
Which is in the spirit.
Which is far better.
Which it is far better.
Absolutely.
So nevertheless, to abide in the flesh, to live in the flesh, is more needful for you.
So he's saying, for me to live, it's needful for you.
Like us, right?
For us to live, it's needful for the lost.
But for us to die, it's for us to gain.
Because we're going to be with the Lord, right?
So for us to have this blessing, you know, to breathe and live, right?
We're here to help mankind out.
To try to bring witness to them, right?
And to die, you know, we graduated, we're going home, you know?
So that's what Paul's saying here.
And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for the furtherance of joy and faith.
So having the confidence that God's with him and he's got this knowledge and all that stuff, right?
And the thing is, his attitude is basically this, right?
I'm gonna go out there, I'm gonna do my best for the Lord.
And this is the attitude we all should have.
You know what?
If I face death, I face death, who cares?
But I'm gonna go out there joyfully and with love.
That's the attitude we all should have.
In other words, like, you know what?
We're gonna go full force.
Something happens to us, it happens to us, and you know, worse could happen.
You die once, yeah, but, you know, you're gonna be eternal life, which turns out to be better.
So, you have nothing to lose.
That attitude is what Paul has, and, you know, had, I'm sorry, and what we should have.
That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus.
Christ for me, by my coming to you again.
So, only let your conversation be as it becomes the gospel of Christ.
That whether I come to see you or not, or else behapsism, sorry.
And then, you know, again, this is Paul's letter to all his, you know, partners.
The apostles, bishops, and all that stuff, right?
So, I may hear of your fears, that you stand fast in one spirit.
Now, stand fast is, I think, stand fast to hold one ground and maintain position.
Thank you.
So be, yeah, don't move.
Don't, you know, be a rock.
Don't, you know, feet firmly planted on the ground and nothing's knocking you down.
Preaching the word of God.
You know what I mean?
You gotta resist any and all evil.
You know, stuff like that.
So, where are we left off here?
Stand fast in one spirit.
So be strong in one spirit.
Be resilient, and bold, and brave, and with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.
So we're supposed to be one in the spirit, all of us, and with one mind, which means one common goal.
Striving together for the faith of the gospel.
So for the sake of the gospel, we all need to stick together.
Sure, a lot of us could have differences, whatever the case, but regardless, we need to stick together as a team.
That's what he's saying.
And be one mind.
You know, work those differences out.
Like, eliminate them.
And the best way I do it, because we, you know, got people coming from all religions.
And religions, what messes people up.
They strip them away from the Bible.
And, uh, yeah, they put that religious dogma on them.
That's why a lot of these people don't know the Bible too much.
Because every religion cherry picks from the Bible and pushes their religious dogma.
Now, we're not supposed to follow no religion.
Not any of the 40,000 different denominations or religions of Christianity or a Catholic or anything like that.
We're supposed to follow the word of God in Jesus Christ.
And every religion claims to be the church, right?
I'm the church.
No, we are the church.
You're the church.
I'm the church.
The body of people are the church.
Not a building, not a religion or organization.
We are the church.
Where two or more are gathered in the same.
Because we are the temple of God.
Our bodies are the temple.
I could go on forever with this stuff, but yeah.
Be as one spirit.
In the spirit, right?
Be as one in the spirit.
And striving together to push the gospel.
And then nothing terrified by your adversaries.
And then, yeah, don't be terrified by your adversaries, which is your enemies.
Which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation and that of God.
So perdition... Perdition is hell or eternal damnation.
Which the son of perdition, that's Satan.
So, hell determined... yeah, so... yeah.
And nothing terrified by your adversaries, which is, to them, an evident token of hell and eternal damnation.
But, to you, of salvation and that of God.
So don't be, you know, because the adversaries, they're the ones terrified.
That's why they persecute you, you know, you want to know that?
Why they persecute you?
Because they're terrified of you.
Not you in person sometimes, sometimes they are, you know, it depends, whatever the case, but mostly they're terrified because of the spirit that's in you.
That's why they're terrified.
And when you talk about the evil forces, no, they're not terrified of your physical attributes or appearances that can kill us.
They're terrified of the spiritual forces of the Holy Spirit that's in you.
Remember that.
And they'll do everything and everything possible to derail you from your mission.
And it's a token of petition, you know.
They know hellfire and judgment's coming.
But to us, right?
Salvation in that of God.
So, what does that mean?
in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.
So what does that mean?
So on behalf of Jesus, right?
Not only are we supposed to just believe in him, right?
But we're supposed to suffer for his sake.
In other words, when it comes time, we gotta get persecuted.
You gotta be a family member, a friend.
Okay, just completely disown you because of your faith.
Stuff like that, or just people in the world.
You're trying to help somebody with the scriptures.
And yeah, they persecute you, maybe attack you, whatever the case, but you need to be bold.
Remember, it's about Jesus.
And having the same conflict which you saw in me, you're now here to be in me.
Yeah, I botched that up.
So again, having the same conflict which you saw in me, you're now here to be in me.
Because we all go through conflicts, you know what I mean?
You know, all kinds of conflicts we go through, right?
So...
Yeah, so this is an awesome book.
It encourages you.
It really is.
And to be bold and brave.
That's the general message.
To be bold and brave.
Don't let your adversary get over on you.
Because remember your adversary is terrified of you because of the spirit within you.
And the more you do this work guys.
And I'm not going to sugar coat nothing.
The target on your back is going to become bigger.
But then again, you got to understand too.
It doesn't matter how big that target is.
The Holy Spirit in you is bigger than any target can be.
And protection.
That's why you gotta put on the full armor of God as we learned in the last book in Ephesians.
So don't take my word or anybody else's word for it guys.
Read for yourself, please.
Very important to understand.
