Declaring war on the New World Order.
TruthRadioShow.com And welcome to the Dan Bedani Show on TruthRadioShow.com And welcome to the book of Ephesians And our final chapter, chapter 6 In this in-depth, comprehensive Bible study So if you missed chapters 1 through 5, please go back and watch them before you go any further.
This way it makes sense when you read this chapter, yeah.
So, like always, we have a special Bible study approach.
We pray for wisdom and understanding.
That's the first step we do.
So, without hesitation, let's join that right now.
Jesus, Yeshua Messiah, we come before you and thank you so much for giving us everlasting life through you.
That whoever believes in you shall have everlasting life.
And we love you so much, and please forgive us for the individual sins that we've all committed.
And please forgive us all for those sins, and make our garments clean, Lord.
We love you with all our heart and all our soul.
Thank you so much.
And Heavenly Father, we come before you, and we love you with all our heart and soul.
And we ask you for your divine intervention tonight in the book of Ephesians chapter 6.
That you could write your word upon our hearts with the Holy Spirit.
Have the great comfort of the Holy Spirit to teach us your word, Lord.
To give us wisdom and understanding and also knowledge of protection and courage and everything we need to fight the forces of evil.
And as we read in chapter 5, to expose the deeds of evil.
To know the enemy and expose them.
And we pray for you to give us that wisdom and understanding in the spiritual warfare.
And we love you so much.
And I pray for everybody out there that needs prayer for whatever your request may be.
If it's within a large will, I pray, Heavenly Father, that you can answer those prayers and protect this platform and everybody here.
And we ask you to use that spiritual warfare to protect us and to bless us and to bind all the forces of evil.
In your mighty name we pray.
Amen.
So, that's very important.
The most important thing to do is pray for us, for wisdom and understanding.
And also, we read the Scripture in context.
We don't just read through the Bible, we read it in context.
Because context is key.
I have to emphasize context.
So, let the Scripture interpret Scripture.
Don't lean on your own understanding.
Let the Holy Spirit speak to you.
So, like we say all the time, don't take anybody else's word for it.
Not even mine.
Read it for yourself.
Thank you for carrying the show on your awesome, amazing audio network.
And if you listen on Shake Awake, we actually opened the Bible, Ephesians Chapter 6.
And those watching on YouTube here, we have it right on screen.
We use the King James Bible.
So this is Paul continuing off from, you know, obviously Chapter 5.
In Chapter 5 we went over basically how husbands should treat their wives and how wives should treat their husbands and the spiritual implications of that, thereof.
So, Paul moves on to speaking about children.
Then gets into some deep spiritual warfare, right?
So, Ephesians is the book of spiritual warfare.
So, children, chapter 6, verse 1.
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
So, remember we talked about discipline, being disobedient, and all that stuff in the last chapter?
Same thing here.
When I said it applies like as you when you were a child with your father and mother.
Same thing applies with us in the Lord.
Doesn't matter if you're 80 years old.
So honor thy father.
And here's another commandment.
Remember when we brought up the commandments last chapter?
Let me go back here real quick.
Chapter 5, right?
Where is it here?
Right here.
Verse 5.
Three commandments out of ten commandments are brought up there.
So, for you dispensationalists out there, if the commandments are no longer valid, why does Paul mention them?
Why is Paul saying, you do these things, you're not going to enter the kingdom of God?
Whoremonger is an unclean person, covetous man, idolatrous.
There he goes, the seventh commandment.
There's a tenth commandment, and there's The second commandment.
Three commandments he mentions.
He says, hey, you violate these things like that, you're not going to... Nobody's going to inherit the kingdom of God if you do that, right?
You're not going to inherit the kingdom of God, right?
So, I just wanted to point that out.
And going back here, now Paul's bringing up another commandment.
The fifth commandment.
Anya thy father and mother.
Which is the first commandment with promise.
Now, the first four commandments were God's right, and the fifth commandment becomes the first commandment of promise.
So, I like how he specifies things, it's awesome.
Right?
So, children and people call us legalists.
Well, the Bible's legal.
So, if you call me legalist, you know what?
You call Paul legalist, you call Jesus legalist.
You call the Word of God legalist.
Because here's another commandment.
In two chapters, it's the fourth commandment, right?
Four commandments already.
The fifth commandment.
Children, obey your parents and the Lord, for this is right.
Honor thy father and mother.
This is the fifth commandment.
Ten commandments.
That it may be well with thee.
And don't mass live long enough.
And fathers, right?
Provoke not your child to wrath.
Don't provoke them to wrath.
Bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
So, you fathers out there, right?
Don't provoke your children to wrath.
Don't purposely, you know what I mean, like, get them mad and angry and all that stuff, right?
And yes, okay, it is your job and duty to bring them up in the admonition and nurture of the Lord.
This is what it is, the Bible.
Teaching the Word of God.
To let the child know God, know Jesus.
Unfortunately today, a lot of kids don't know who Jesus is.
I was at a family thing the other day.
And it was my, actually my, I'm sorry, my wife's birthday.
And some of her family came out to the dinner.
And so it was at a restaurant.
And before we ate, my son started praying, right?
And a couple of his cousins looking at him weird.
And he goes, do you know Jesus?
They didn't have no clue.
And some older than him, there was one younger than him, and a couple older than him.
They had no clue.
I'm like, that's shameful.
It really is.
I don't mean to speak ill will or anything about people, whatever the case.
Yeah, because the parents are good people, but, you know, they should be teaching about God.
Because it's our job and duty to do so.
There's other scriptures that say the same thing.
Raise your children up in the Lord.
But fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath and bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Because it talks about that, I forgot where it was.
It says to bring your children up in the Lord so they don't depart from the faith when they get older.
That's why it's important.
To bring them up in the Lord to give them all the knowledge they want and need.
Now servants, Be obedient to them, that you are masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling and singleness of your heart, as unto Christ.
So, servants out there, because people worked under servitude, or whatever the case, or they were actually slaves, whatever the case, and no, the Bible is not condoning slavery for you people out there who mis-translate this, right?
Misinterpret, I should say.
It's not condoning slavery.
But the people who were slaves, whatever, whatever the case, right?
It says to the servants, be obedient to them.
That are your masters, according to the flesh.
Remember?
Now, here's the key word, according to the flesh.
Now, Jesus says, right?
In the Matthew, right?
Don't call any man upon the earth, master, rabbi, or father.
Because your father's in heaven, right?
So, that's why he specifies according to the flesh.
So he's saying servants be obedient to them that who are your masters according to the flesh.
Key word.
Key phrase according to the flesh.
With fear and trembling and singleness of your heart as unto Christ.
Like you fear the Lord and people need to understand what that means.
Fear the Lord.
It's not that you're afraid of Him but you are afraid of Him if you cross Him.
You're afraid to cross Him.
I know when I sin, I'm afraid.
I'm like, oh man.
You know, like, I'm like, oh.
Yeah.
Because God could be very, very wrathful to teach you a lesson.
As we got in the last chapter, we talked about that.
Not with eye service or men pleasers, but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.
So eye service?
Let me see.
iService in the Bible, so.
Not with iService as MetaPlus.
All right, what's the meaning?
Meeting night service.
Worker service done only when the employee is watching.
Oh, all right, so.
That's why it's important to get the definitions, guys.
And like I say a lot of times, I don't mean to sound redundant, but if you're in a Bible study, especially with a group 2, if you see a word that you don't know what it means, please ask them.
Stop them right there and ask them what that word means.
And if the person teaching, oh, I'll answer that later.
No, tell them to do it now.
No offense.
Respectfully, please do it now, because if you don't understand that one word, that could change the entire outcome of the rest, then the context.
That's why you need to take your time, right?
So men, eye services, a person who only does work when somebody sees them.
And when, you know, just say that the boss is not around, they're not doing nothing.
We all worked with people like that, right?
So let's see what...
My mouse is still messed up.
I forgot to change the battery.
Men pleasers.
Determined to be seen, recognized, or proved.
All right, so...
All right, I thought it was a sexual thing.
I thought it was like...
Because they talked about whoremongers in the last chapter, but all right.
So men pleasers is to do...
Determinist to be seen and recognized and approved by men.
So, people care about what other people think about them.
So, anyway, so you got, not with eye service, right?
People who don't even do work when the bosses are out.
When they're seen.
Other than that, they're not doing nothing, right?
Or men pleasers, who do things to admiration of men.
To be approved of men.
But as a servant of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.
So, they're saying, don't worry about What men, people think of you.
But as servants of Christ, we do the will of God from the heart.
We don't do it because we have to.
Because that's what he's saying.
The people I service, the men places, they do it because they have to or they want to show recognition or whatever the case.
No, don't do it like that.
As servants of God doing the will of the Father from the heart.
You're glad to do it.
You're not pressured to do it or whatever.
You're glad to do it.
You willingly do it because you love to do it.
That's why I'm teaching this here.
Not because I have to.
Nobody told me, Dan, you have to teach us.
Are you getting paid to teach it?
No, no, no, not like that.
No.
I'm doing it because I love the Word of God.
And I'm trying to help.
I love helping people.
So I'm trying to help people out there who need help.
Just as like when people helped me, you know?
When God sent people in my life to help me.
And the Holy Spirit himself reached out to help me.
So do this servitude in the Word of God.
I mean, in your heart.
Paul loved it.
You know, all the apostles loved that they were chosen to do the will of the work of the Lord.
Again, do it from the heart.
You can tell, Joe, you can tell.
There's ministers out there, they just do it because it's a job.
And they look all, you know, like these big time ministers.
If you ever try to talk to these people in person, they snub you off real quick and you're lucky to even get near them.
When they're off stage, they don't want nothing to do with nobody.
A real servant of God that teaches the Word and all that, he's going to be welcomed for questions.
He's going to be welcomed for a challenge and reproof.
Like, when you challenge him, because the Bible says, challenge every spirit, right?
I tell people to challenge me all the time.
If you really want to know if these things are real, whatever the case, or whatever, challenge me, and I'll prove it through the Word of God.
So these big-time ministers, they don't do that.
They don't take time for the people.
They get on stage, put on a big show, and they're off.
You can't even talk to them.
Go to Pat Robbins.
Oh, he's not alive anymore.
Go to... I don't think he is, is he?
But anyway.
Go to Joel Osteen's stretch, right?
You wouldn't even be able to get near him.
When the service is over.
Let alone to ask him a question if he did come across him.
He's gonna give you a quick answer and snub you off.
Oh, I'm busy right now, right?
But...
Do it from the heart.
In other words, like, you preach from the heart.
You preach the word of God and have time for people.
Like, you know, because you can tell the reals from the fakers I'm trying to get at.
The real people of the Lord are going to take time afterwards and say, hey, hey, how you doing?
go down to personally meet you and get to know you.
So, once again, not with eye service, right? - Great.
So, servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, and with fear and trembling and singleness of your heart, as unto Christ.
And not with service like, you know, only when the boss is around or, you know, just doing it because you want to please man and get good admiration by him, right?
But do it as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.
Because you want to do it, because you love to do it.
But with good will, doing service, as to the Lord and not to men.
So, helping people like I mentioned earlier, right?
I like helping people.
It's not for my glory, it's for the Lord.
Doing good things, right?
It makes you feel great.
But I'm not doing it to men, for men, I'm sorry, I'm doing it for the Lord.
I'm doing it to help men, yes, but I'm doing it for the Lord.
With the good will doing service as to the Lord and not to men.
Knowing that whatsoever good thing that any man does, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
That means if at the time you're a slave or whatever the case, or you're a free man.
And again, the Bible's not condoning slavery.
Because there were slaves back then, right?
Especially in the time of Rome there.
It's not condoning slavery.
It's just saying, if you're a slave, just serve your master and, you know, the Lord will bless you.
But today, we're all slaves to the system.
So, yeah, so known whoever the good thing any man does, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bound or free.
So do good, and God will do good to you.
And you masters, right?
Now, we talked about the slaves, right?
People in the bondage?
Now it addresses the masters.
Knowing that your master also is in heaven, neither is there respect of persons with him, So this is in the even today some people you know parts of the world whatever case they own Slaves or whatever the case you got people on the bondage working for them, right?
So it's telling the masters do the same unto them Have respect for them and Forbear and threaten so don't be threatening them, you know, all that's the bullying them stuff have respect for them and And to tell these masters out there, hey, guess what?
Your master, which is God, He is also in heaven.
Neither is there respect of persons with Him.
So be respectful, right?
Then finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
So this is where it starts getting to the spiritual warfare again.
Because Ephesians is the book of spiritual warfare.
One of many, of course, but yeah.
Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
So, understand the power of His might.
He's the mighty Father.
Almighty Heavenly Father, be strong in Him.
Be strong in him.
Right?
And this goes a long way.
The power of his might.
If you understood, none of us probably ever will until we're into heaven.
But the power of his might.
Because through him, all things are possible.
Right?
So now, this is very important.
Right?
We talked about exposing the evil and rebuking him and exposing him.
Right?
To know the enemy.
So now God says, put on the whole armor of God.
that you might be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
What does that mean?
The wiles of the devil.
We're going to show you what the armor of god is in a minute.
But what's the wiles of the devil?
It's all the stuff he throws at you everyday.
You could be walking in the faith and all that stuff and all of a sudden.
This has happened to me.
Alright.
You're walking in the faith and you're feeling the spirit and all of a sudden you're driving down the road and somebody literally cuts you off and almost hits you.
And of course maybe a cuss word or two will come out of your mouth.
Now you're not in the spirit no more.
The devil's always out there to throw something at you that's going to get you out of the spirit.
Like no, you feel like you're on cloud nine.
You're rejoicing in the spirit.
You feel righteous, right?
So you could be somewhere and all of a sudden you feel righteous, right?
And somebody does try to aggravate you.
You shrub it off.
You're like, yeah, whatever.
Have a good day.
God bless you.
Even though they were a jerk to you, right?
So you're walking down the street, walking down the street.
And guess what?
This girl wearing very, very proper clothing comes across you.
But it gives you a smile and whatever it gives, right?
Now, all of a sudden, you're not in a spirit now because you're in a spirit glorifying the Lord all of a sudden.
A million lustful thoughts went through your mind in seconds.
Or you can, another one, until you're walking down the road, you're in a spirit, and all of a sudden, you see his bank truck pull up, right?
Army car truck, and they're taking out tons of cash.
And you're thinking, oh yeah, I would love to grab one of those bags, right?
That's stealing.
All of a sudden, you're not in the spirit no more.
I could go on and on, you know, all day with this, right?
These examples.
That's why Jesus talks in parables.
To give examples of exactly what he's talking about.
He'll give you a statement, then he'll give an example.
So, that's what the wiles of the devil are.
Stuff that he'll throw at you left and right to get you out of the faith.
Out of the glory of God.
Out of the spirit.
And again, being in the spirit is being your whole mind, body, soul is consumed with the Lord.
You feel great, you feel the Lord present with you, the Holy Spirit.
It is the best feeling in the world.
At that time, you're not thinking lustfully.
At that time, you're not thinking evil stuff.
You're just rejoicing.
Yeah, yeah, literally out of the flesh.
Then Satan will throw something at you, especially he knows what your weaknesses are.
He'll throw it at you.
Oh, will he ever.
And I don't mean to bring up the sexual stuff all the time, but that's one of the biggest sins for men.
Especially, right?
So, and I'm sure it's for the women too.
I don't know, I'm not a woman, but... Yeah, so you have a great day.
You're all in the spirit and all that stuff, and all of a sudden the dream...
You know what I mean?
Something will happen in a dream that will tantalize you.
You know what I'm saying?
Immediately knock you out of the spark.
So I'm just trying to use these examples, guys.
So that's what the wiles of the devil are.
He'll throw everything in the kitchen sink to at you, right?
Because the Bible says, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood.
Because these, yeah...
Obviously in the world we fight flesh and blood.
Wrestling means fight, whatever the case, right?
Obviously in the world we fight against flesh and blood in wars, and enemies, all that stuff, right?
That's what I was talking about.
This, he knows, yes we do.
But, this is trying to point out, no, this is not about flesh and blood.
Even the enemies, this is not about them.
Because it's the powers behind them that control them.
So the real war is not with that person, that's your enemy.
The real war is the enemy that's controlling that person.
And it's spiritual.
Because it says before we wrestle not against flesh and blood.
He's trying to point out here.
This is not about the carnal person, their mind, right?
This is a fight against spirit.
This is a whole new level.
So we don't wrestle, we don't fight in a war against the flesh.
We do in the physical world, but in the spirit world we don't.
Because the spirit world is what controls the physical world.
But against the principalities, against the powers, against the rules of darkness of this world.
Against spiritual wickedness in high places.
So let's cover some of that stuff, right?
What is he talking about?
We did that in chapter 1, I hear.
But we'll do it again.
What is principalities?
What are powers?
What are rules of darkness in the world?
And what is spiritual wickedness in high places?
Yeah, we did a whole show on this on the Spiritual Offering Friday.
So, there's a list of, um... You know, the Principality is an Angel.
It's also known as Ruler, or... What's, uh, the Rulers of High Places?
A Principality is a Ruler, and, uh, same thing.
Also known as Rulers of Archangels.
They're Archangels that protect and guide institutions, nations, and groups of people such as the Church.
That's us.
They are in charge of leading bands of angels and making sure they fulfill their divine ministry.
So, Michael's an archangel.
Gabriel is an archangel, right?
Many of them.
That's where the principality is, and also rules of darkness.
But, on the flip side, there's evil principalities, there's evil rulers.
Those are the fallen angels we're talking about, right here.
Again, spiritual wickedness in high places.
These are in the heavenly realms.
These are the fallen ones that are not imprisoned, that are up in the spiritual realms.
Yeah, the spiritual realms and heavenly realms.
Because there are different layers of heaven.
There are the first and second heavens.
And therefore, and you gotta understand too, you really need to grasp what this means here.
Because it's very important, the principalities.
Then you got the powers angel, right?
The powers, uh, they're, uh, potency and angels that have power to restrain evil forces and prevent them from causing harm.
The term comes from the word Latin.
Uh, potest means power.
But anyway, these here, I talk about the good ones.
This here is describing a good angel with good principality.
But what the Bible is talking about is the opposite.
They have the same traits, but they're opposite sides of the fence.
Same thing with the powers, right?
These are the good ones, the powers.
They have the power to restrain evil forces.
The bad powers are the ones causing those evil forces.
Then you've got the virtual angels, and we go on to all this stuff, dominions and thrones, and we could go on and on with all these different angels.
But you need to understand what we're talking about here.
So therefore, take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all the stints.
So, the wiles of the devil we're talking about, right?
All that stuff that the devil throws at you.
Spiritual attacks, sickness out of nowhere.
Getting spiritually attacked.
And it can manifest physically too.
Yeah.
The wiles of the devil is a million different things.
There's the devil trying to tempt you.
The devil trying to... uh... coerce you.
The devil trying... which is threatening you.
The devil trying to... um... seduce you.
Spiritually.
It could be a million things, right?
So, this is what we need to do to stand against that.
Take on the whole arm of God.
That you may be able to withstand the evil day, and having done all to stand.
So this armor of God is going to protect you.
And no, it's not a physical armor, you know, body armor.
It's in a spiritual sense.
It says, therefore, having your loins girt about with the truth, and having the breastplate of righteousness.
So you got the, let me see if I get...
Let me show you.
Let's see if we can get an image of it.
This one says stand against the devil schemes.
So let me show you.
This is a good depiction here.
Oops, not that one.
Let's see if I can get a better one here.
I keep forgetting to change the battery on my mouse.
That's why it's jumping all over the place.
this surprise Walmart sells that.
Hey, come on.
I apologize, guys.
Hold on a second.
Let me just get, hopefully I can get one of these images here.
I don't know what's going on.
It's this new AI stuff that just makes everything confusing.
If we could get one picture, that would be great.
I don't know what's going on with Google these days.
Alright, so imagine, alright, it's spiritual, this is an armor, a knight's armor.
It's not, we don't pick up a physical metal helmet and all that stuff, right?
Or a shield or sword, right?
So, mind, keep that in mind, right?
So, therefore, stand with your loins girt about with truth.
So, the loins is truth.
That's, you know, in a battle armor it covers your loins, which is your genitals.
In that case, basically, you would stand against sexual temptation.
That's what that would mean.
Sexual temptation, stuff like that, right?
Because that's what the devil's going to throw at you first thing.
Probably, for most people.
And, uh, this, uh, loin's girth about you, the truth, right?
And having your breastplate of righteousness.
Breastplates of righteousness protect your heart from unrighteousness.
There's other meanings too, I'm just going over the general ones.
And your feet shod with preparation of the gospel of peace.
The gospel of peace, right?
And which will give you the ability to walk on scorpions and serpents and no harm will come upon you.
To tread in peace, don't tread in treachery, you know what I mean?
There's many meanings.
So, this is like being, I shouldn't say symbolic or anything like that, but in a spiritual sense.
Above all, take in the shield of faith.
That's what's right there.
The shield of faith.
Wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery dots of the wicked.
The fiery dots are the spiritual attacks that come at you in every which direction.
So the shield of faith Because remember, Jesus says you've got to believe.
That's called having faith, right?
You don't carry an actual shield with you.
You know what I mean?
None of this stuff.
Yeah, this is in a spiritual sense.
The shield of faith blocks you.
When you have faith, oh man!
It blocks you from the forces of the enemy.
Poi deserelo.
It protects you.
That's what a shield is.
Protects you, right?
Faith protects you.
And take the helmet of salvation.
Salvation is offered to you, right?
Through redemption.
That's why it covers your head, it's a helmet.
And a sword of the Spirit, and it says, which is what?
The Word of God.
So that Bible you got in your hands, guys?
That Bible is your sword.
That can cut through any armor.
Any armor in the world.
And the world's Biggest weapon is the Bible.
Because you got people, bad people, who misuse the Bible as a weapon.
It misleads so many people.
But it's a double-edged sword that cuts through any armor.
Thank you.
When you preach the truth here, it destroys the enemy big time.
And again, it defines the Sword of Truth, the Spirit, which is the Holy Spirit with us, bringing the truth, is the Word of God.
And do we not pray to the Holy Spirit today?
To ask for His divine intervention?
To write His Word upon our heart?
And then we're reading the Word of God here?
Praying always in prayer and supplication in the spirit so supplication that is I think in the act of praying I think Supplication in the Bible.
It's um, I should remember that because I did a show on that so We are told to be anxious and everything in prayer and supplication during Thanksgiving A religious prayer so So that's that one.
I should know that by heart because I did a... I remember doing a show on it, How to Pray.
That was the name of the show.
Should have looked at that before I did this video here.
So... Always pray to supplication.
It's the act of praying.
Like the physical act of getting on your hands and knees and going into that quiet spot.
You know what I mean?
That secret place.
And praying the Spirit, which is the Holy Spirit, right?
So, all saints are us.
to all perseverance, I'm sorry, and supplication for all saints.
So all saints are us.
So once again, praying with all prayer and supplication and earnestly, you pray earnestly and just like the physical act of praying to and everything else in the spirit and watching there unto all perseverance, Perseverance is like withstanding something, enduring things, right?
Because Jesus says in Matthew 24, right?
Those who endure to the end shall be saved.
How do you endure is to have perseverance?
To be able to stand through hell, literally, to withstand hell and back.
Like when you go through hell in your life, and you keep going and going, you don't stop, you stay on the course?
That's having perseverance.
And supplication for all saints.
That's us.
For, and for me, Paul's saying, the utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel.
And that's why these false religions and all that hate Paul with a passion.
Because Paul is bold.
He told you how it was and the way it was.
He's not going to care if you offended you or you're going to run into your little hiding space or whatever.
I mean, your safe spaces.
You know what I mean?
All that stuff.
He told you how it was.
Just like Jesus did.
So he's saying that he may be bold to make known the mystery of the gospel.
Be bold about it.
When you speak about the gospel here, be bold about it.
He says, for which I am an ambassador in bonds.
Which in bonds means he's not in slavery, no.
Because usually bonds means slavery or something like that.
Bonds in this point is like you're under a mission.
Remember he said he was a slave for Jesus Christ?
Which is in a good sense, it's not in a bad way.
You know what I mean?
So in Barnes, Ambassador in Barnes, that he's obligated.
And that's the thing too, when you become a believer, you learn this knowledge, right?
You are now obligated to go teach it.
Don't just sit on it and go teach it, you're obligated to do so.
And some people are good at it doing street ministry, some people are good at doing blogs, videos, things like that, right?
Or just getting a group of people together, talking to people individually.
Yeah, use that!
You're in the bondage to do that, because it's your obligation now.
Like we talk about all the time, the useless Christians they're called.
The one that Jesus got to chew up and spit out, because they lost the salt.
Those are the people who go to church every Sunday, And they don't talk to a person about God.
They don't do nothing with the knowledge, they don't do nothing with the gifts that God's given us.
And everybody's got a gift, you just gotta find it, or ask the Lord to reveal it to you.
Everybody's got a gift, or more than one gift.
Depends on what you can handle.
Don't waste it!
Let it, you know, let it sprout!
But Paul's saying that because he, Paul's got this gift of being able to reach people.
So it's his obligation, that's what he means by he's an ambassador, which is a representative.
He's obligated now because he was taught, you know, basically created into Paul, from Saul to Paul, by Jesus.
So he's a representative of Jesus, now it's his obligation to do so, that's what he's saying.
That there I may speak boldly as I ought to speak.
Don't sugarcoat things, speak boldly.
As you have to speak, he's saying.
But that you also may know my affairs and how I do and tell you this and beloved brother of faithful minister and the Lord, which make known to you all things.
So he's saying, I'm making known my plans. .
And how I So he's talking about, I think, I've got to pronounce it, Titus, because I can't pronounce that right.
shall make known to you all things.
So he's talking about, I think, I'm going to pronounce it, Titus, because I can't pronounce that right.
T-Y-C-H-I-C-U-S.
And rest 22, Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that you might know our affairs.
Again, to know our plans and what we're doing.
So he sent a church just here to make you known all things we're doing.
And he's saying to the people, but listen.
which is through the letter here.
Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that you might know our affairs, you know, again, plans and what we're doing on purpose, right?
And that he might comfort your hearts.
So I guess he sent this letter here to the church of Ephesians with Titus there.
Titus is reading it to him.
And he's here to help people.
He's reading them the letter here and helping them as well.
Then he says, closes out, says, Peace be unto you brethren, to the brethren, that's the fellow believers, in love with faith from the God, the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
And grace be with you all, them that love our Lord Jesus Christ, in sincerity.
Amen.
To the Ephesians written by Rome, by Titus, right?
So Titus brings this letter to Ephesians and tells him, hey listen, this is Paul, you know, reciting what Paul's saying, and now Titus is there to teach him as well.
To answer any further questions and like that, like we do all the time, yeah, you know what I mean?
I'll teach you where I've gone here, and then people can put their questions in the chat room, they'll get a hold of me, and I can go further.
If you need further understanding, Let me know what you need on Standard Nine and I'll do my best to help you out.
So, bottom line is we all need to be ministers of the Lord.
Don't let your tree not produce fruit.
Don't let your tree produce bad fruit.
You need to let your tree sprout and produce great fruit.
You need to be that light and salt of the earth.
Not just sitting in the pews all day.
Or every week.
Take the knowledge you obtain.
It could be the limitless amount of knowledge.
help somebody with it.
And your talent, remember the parable of the talents?
Perfect example like that.
The parable of the talents.
When Jesus, you know, Jesus talked about the parable of talents, right?
And the master gave each person according to what they can handle.
He gave one person one talent, another with three, and another ten.
Not that the one with the ten was better, no.
But he was able to, that person was able to hold and produce and, I'm sorry, produce and do more things than the other person.
Then he did this purposely to see if the talents could grow.
So the one with the ten talents increased his talents by ten more.
And so did the one with the three.
I think I got the numbers right.
So the one with the one just buried it and hid it.
Then didn't do nothing with it.
And he didn't gain no more talents.
So when the master came back.
You know the one with the ten.
And he told him well done good faithful servant.
You had ten.
I gave you ten.
You gained ten more.
And these are talents that we get guys.
That God gives us.
Gifts that God gives us to do.
The one with the five talents, three or five I think it was, he gained more talents.
And he said, well done, go to faith and serve it.
The one who hid their talent, he said, be gone, I never knew you.
No, I'm sorry, he said, yeah, you wasted your talent.
You're useless.
And again, what this is talking about is people in the ministry here, in the church, the regular people.
The Lord's given you a talent to do something, right?
To say, people out there, I'm good at, you know, one person, I'm good at writing blogs, right?
But, you're not doing it.
You're not writing blogs for the Lord.
The talent that the Lord's given you, you're wasting it.
You buried that talent.
Then you gotta be a useful servant.
Now people say, well I'm not good at this and that.
Yeah, well you might not be, but you might be, will be someday.
As you say, a couple of people, a person up there, well I could do blogs, I could do videos, I could do street ministry.
Yeah, there's the three talents you can do that God's given you.
And you go do them.
While you're doing it, you're probably going to gain more talents to be able to now, I don't know, produce music or something like that for the Lord.
Oh, you know, you gain more talents.
Like when I first started, I could talk, yeah.
Then I learn how to do video, learn how to do different things and all that, these talents that all work for the Lord.
And I gain more talents as I go on.
And I use those talents.
Don't sit on them!
I got, you know, I shouldn't even say it, but my cousin, one of my cousins, he's the guy, I mean, so he's so gifted with the Scripture.
But he doesn't do nothing.
I'm like, what use is there if you're not reaching the public?
Who talks to a person here and there?
That's about it.
And fellow believers.
But, and it's the other thing too out there, right?
If you're sitting there talking about fellow believers that already know all this stuff, right?
Alright, that's good and dandy.
Yeah, you're helping them out, but we should be out in the world teaching the sinners out there.
The lost.
So we can help them and turn them into followers of Christ.
That's what Paul was doing.
The apostles, they went into the world to teach the unbelievers.
So, it's pretty awesome.
So yeah, we're done with this chapter here and this book entirely.
So, it's pretty awesome.
