Declaring war on the New World Order.
TruthRadioShow.com.
And welcome to the Dan Bedani Show on TruthRadioShow.com.
Welcome back to the book of Ephesians chapter 4 in this in-depth comprehensive study of the Bible.
So guys, before we begin, and like always, actually, first of all, if you missed chapters 1 through 3, I would suggest to stop right here and go watch them so you know what's going on and you understand the context of where we are at.
So, like always, we do a Bible study approach.
We pray for wisdom and understanding.
That's the most important thing to do right now.
So, first of all, let's pray.
And Jesus, yes, your Messiah will come before you once again and ask you for forgiveness of the sins and trespasses or any abominations or transgressions that we may have committed today.
And we ask you to wipe us clean, Lord, just Do our sins far from the East as from the West, like you say.
Just toss them far from the East as from the West.
And make us clean before the Father.
And we love you, Jesus, Yeshua.
And Heavenly Father, we come before you with much love.
This much, many love, much love.
Internal love.
Eternal love for you, Lord.
And so, We ask you for your help today and your divine wisdom and understanding once again for the book of Ephesians chapter 4.
We ask you to allow us to have the Holy Spirit to write your word upon our hearts today.
And we love you so much and protect us all from the forces of evil.
And just answer anybody's prayer that needs a prayer that's within your will, Lord.
And like always, we love you so much with all our heart and soul.
In your mighty name we pray, Amen.
So that being done, guys, we read the Bible in Scripture.
I'm sorry, Scripture in context.
And context is key.
Let the Scripture interpret Scripture.
So let's begin.
If you're on ShakenWakeRadio.com, the audio edition, please open up your own Bible.
And we do got a Bible on screen for those who are watching on YouTube here.
So we do got a Bible on screen.
We use the King James, but just open up your Bible if you want.
And so Ephesians chapter 4, and this is, again, Paul's letter to Ephesians.
This is the book on spiritual warfare.
One of my favorite books.
So, I therefore, the prisoner, we start off chapter 3 the same way, I therefore, Paul's saying, right?
The prisoner of the Lord beseech you and you walk worthy on the vocation wherewith you are called.
So, again, it's very important to understand each word.
So, when I said prisoner last time, again, Paul's not saying he's being held against his will or something like that.
He's not being derogatory.
So if you understand what a prisoner is in this context, right?
And as a prisoner of the Lord, we give up all our rights.
Like our human rights, you know, whatever the world wants to say.
You got a right to this and that, even though it defies God, you have a right to do that.
Well, guess what?
To follow God, you gotta give up those things.
So we give up our independent ways of submitting ourselves to His will and His kingdom in all things.
And now when we first come to the Lord, we truly think we are giving Him our all, but cannot fully appreciate just how powerful self is.
So, in other words, the study is saying that the prisoner here, what Paul is saying, is not that he's being held against, because normally if you're a prisoner, you're held against your will and all that stuff.
No, it's not saying that.
Because a lot of people take Paul out of context and try to say this is some contradiction or whatever the case.
No, that's not what he's saying.
So always remember that because there's a lot of scoffers out there who take single verses out of context.
Paul said in prison of the Lord in a good way that he gave up all his earthly because society will tell you you have a right to do anything you want.
That's not the truth.
That's what he means by that.
So, with all lowliness and meekness.
And let me go back to here first, I'm sorry.
So, I therefore, Paul, prisoner of the ward, beseech you.
Right?
In other words, eagerly, earnestly, I should say, to try to get your attention.
Like, hey, listen.
Listen to what I'm saying.
That you walk worthy of the vocation We're with, you are called.
The vocation is basically what we learned in the word exercise, right?
So walk worthy of that.
Don't just walk talk to talk, he's saying.
Walk to walk as well.
If you're going to walk talk to talk, you need to walk to walk.
Now, he's saying with all lowliness, which is like, lowliness is a state of being humble and unimportant.
Right?
And meekness is a calm temper of mine, not easily provoked.
So don't let people, and I got a problem with that myself, so I got to work on that myself, you know, being meekness.
Because sometimes people provoke me and I, you know what I mean, I go off on them.
I got to learn to do that.
To have a calm temper, in other words, yeah, chill out.
So he's saying, yeah, be humble and unimportant.
Don't walk around like you're something special.
We all need to humble ourselves, every one of us.
Because unfortunately the world today, the way it is, everybody wants to be important or something like that, you know.
But no, we're supposed to be unimportant.
So again, with humbleness and meekness, don't be easily provoked.
With long-suffering, and long-suffering is like almost like enduring almost.
It's like being able to suffer for a long time.
Forbearing one another in love.
And endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit, the bond of peace, right?
Let me see what this word means here.
I think it's... I should have put Bible definition.
It means to make an effort.
So Endorin, to make an effort, he's saying, you make an effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
And there is one body and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling.
So one body, one Spirit.
So we are all one body.
We all belong to Christ, right?
And one Spirit, the Holy Spirit.
The same Holy Spirit that presides in me is the same Holy Spirit that presides in you and millions like us.
The same Holy Spirit that presides in Christ is the same Holy Spirit that presides in the Father.
And there is one body, right?
And one Spirit.
Even as you are called in one hope of your calling.
So being united, one hope.
And all of us want Jesus to come back, you know what I mean?
That's being one of hope, you know?
So, one Lord, one faith, one baptism.
One God, and the Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
So, stop for a minute, and absorb that for a minute, so you understand that.
Paul's not trying to be poetic here, he's just trying to explain, yeah, we're all of one.
And I'm not saying we're gods, I'm not at all saying that.
I'm saying we're all of one.
We're believers now, we're all adopted children of God equally.
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Yes.
Measure of the gift of Christ is his death and suffering he endured for us.
That was the gift of us.
So he became the final lamp sacrifice.
His blood atoned for our sins.
We don't have to do blood sacrifices no more.
Again, but unto one of us is given grace.
Every one of us, I'm sorry.
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
So wherefore, he says, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
So he led captivity captive.
You know what I mean?
That's self-explanatory.
I shouldn't even have to explain that.
But if you need explanations, hit me up and I'll explain it more.
So now that he ascended, in other words, this is after the resurrection, he ascended up on high, which is heaven.
He ascended to heaven.
But now that he ascended, because at this point in time, Jesus has already been ascended.
What is it that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
So, this goes deep.
Literally.
No pun intended.
So, understand this, right?
Now that he ascended, What is it, but that He also descended first?
So, when Christ died, He went into the grave, right?
He didn't just, like, lay in the tomb and sleep for a while.
No.
And people need to understand this, right?
In the grave does not mean just six feet under.
Your body, yes.
They, you know, six feet, however much they throw you into the earth.
Could be ten feet, doesn't matter, right?
Your soul goes under the earth.
In the grave means in the earth.
You don't just sit there and sleep.
And in the earth, in the grave, there's Sheol.
Sheol, whatever you want to pronounce it.
One half is hell, one half is paradise.
We learned that in Matthew and all that, right?
So, Paul's saying that before Jesus, when he was crucified, right?
He died.
He descended first into the lower parts of the earth.
To go save the people before him.
Good people that just didn't have, you know, like the law, right?
You're not saved by the law.
All those people followed the law and all that, they weren't saved.
But God gave them a chance, Jesus went down to redeem them.
And that's how he's got the keys to Hades.
He cleared the place out.
Just about.
So now it says, He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.
So, not only did Jesus descend, he descended to redeem all those lost people, right?
Got the keys of Hades, And now he ascended.
Descend if you don't know what that means.
It means to go down.
Lower altitude.
Whatever you want to put it.
Ascend means to go higher.
So if you're on a ladder.
You go down a ladder.
It's descending a ladder.
If you climb up a ladder.
It's ascending.
So just to understand that.
So.
Jesus ascended up far above all heavens.
Now, notice this is all heavens, right?
There's three heavens that we know of, right?
Whether it's the sky of the firmament and all that stuff, then there's heavens.
There's different ways of heaven.
And when you talk about far above all heavens, that's where the throne of God is.
That's why God's called the God of the Most High.
You don't get any higher than that.
That's the pinnacle.
That's why Jesus ascended above all heavens.
He sits at the right hand of God.
That he might fill all things.
And he gave some apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some pastors, and some teachers.
For the mystery of the saints, for the work of the ministry, And for the edifying of the body of Christ.
So he gave these certain people, right?
And which one are you?
Are you an evangelist?
Are you a pastor or a teacher?
And normally a teacher today in the Bible would be considered a pastor.
And no, you don't need to go to a seminary school or anything to become a pastor or a minister.
Because the last chapter Paul said he was a minister, right?
I'm a certified minister myself, but I don't use that.
I mean, I don't hang on to that.
You know, to me, you have to be certified by the Lord, anointed by the Lord, not a ministry, you know?
So, either way, yeah.
So, a minister is somebody who teaches.
So, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying, which is explaining, Giving detail and a definition of the body of Christ.
And again, our body of Christ is who?
We, the people, not a religion or church.
We are the church.
It could be three or more, two more, gathering his name, there he is.
We could be sitting in your living room, a bunch of us, studying the Bible, that's the church.
Could be your backyard, that's the church.
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto a measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
So, we're supposed to be all of one faith.
And of the knowledge of the Son of God.
So we all need to understand and know that Jesus is the Son of God, the Son of Man, the Messiah, the Lamb of God, the Lion of Judah, The Messiah, and he shed his blood for our sins, his atonement for our sins.
And unto a perfect man, that's Jesus.
So that we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine.
But by the slay of men and cunning craftiness whereby we lie and wait to deceive.
So, we're saying don't follow doctrines of mannerism with that.
And Karen, you know, says, yeah, that we henceforth be no more children.
In other words, children in the world, so to speak, right?
And not saying like little children, like, you know, what he's trying to say here, right?
The best way I can explain it is basically, when you go to a church or something, right, you learn the Word of God, which is great.
Not frowning upon that.
But, when you learn the Word of God, right, and you just sit in the church, keep learning and learning and learning, but you don't do nothing, you stay a child in that sense.
That's what he's saying.
He's saying you need to mature, you need to grow up, become indulgent, become ministers yourself.
So what good is learning all this knowledge if you're not teaching anybody?
That's what I figured out years ago.
Well, you know.
God's given me all this knowledge and everything.
What good is it if I don't teach anybody?
You know what I'm saying?
It's like being... I can't even describe words.
It's like being a super trained... Professional wrestler, but you never wrestle to match it.
What good is it to train for all that if you don't wrestle?
What good is it to go through all that military training if you don't be in the military?
You know what I'm saying?
That's why Jesus talked in parables.
So you can not possibly misunderstand.
But don't be children in that sense.
Even though Jesus says you need to be like these children to enter the kingdom of God, that's He's talking about the faith and all that.
Because children don't question.
They believe in Jesus.
They don't question it, nothing like that.
They truly 100% believe in Jesus.
They got the faith of a mustard seed.
That's what he was talking about.
Not this context yet.
So no, that's not a contradiction for you Bible scoffers out there.
So again, he's saying, grow up.
Mature in the faith.
And become ministers yourself.
And don't get carried away with every wind of doctrine.
By the slate of men.
So these garbage doctrines you come here, like the dispensationalist doctrine, not the biblical dispensation, but the false dispensation by John Nelson Darby, the false preacher there, and Cyrus Schofield, and people like them, John Calvin and all of them, don't be slayed by those people.
And cunning craftiness whereby they lie, and wait to deceive.
These people, while they mention more, that's what they did.
And to people live today, that's what they do, these false pastors and all that stuff.
They try to lead you straight to other doctrines.
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up in him in all things, which is the head even Christ.
That's what he's saying, to grow up.
Spiritually grow up into him in all things, which is the head even Christ.
So, in other words, if you understand the complexity of human anatomy.
Right?
Everything fits together perfectly, right?
and in the measure of every part.
So in other words, if you understand the complexity of human anatomy, everything fits together perfectly, right?
In every measure and every part.
Maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
Well, having knowledge, edifying means to explain.
So, when it gets to the tongues and all that.
And we start talking about the tongues and all that.
I think it's in the Corinthians there.
So, it talks about, excuse me, it explains that if somebody speaks in tongues, right, and you can't understand what they're saying, Somebody, if it's not edified, in other words, explained exactly what they said or translated, it's not of God.
You know what I mean?
So we'll get to that at that time.
I'm just trying to explain this to you.
That's what edifying means.
So you understand it.
So that's what I'm trying to do.
I'm trying to sit here and edify, like Paul's doing, right?
Edifying the Word of Christ.
See right here?
For the edifying of the body of Christ.
We're trying to explain this to you.
We're edifying it.
And Of itself, in love.
So out of love, I'm telling you, I'm doing the same thing again.
Out of love, I'm edifying itself.
Itself is edifying, you know what I'm saying?
Hope I didn't confuse you with that.
So, yeah.
So every part make an increase in the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
So when you preach the Bible, preach it to love.
And if you didn't love somebody, you wouldn't be preaching to them, right?
Yeah.
That's why I tell people, oh, don't hate me or judge me.
I'm not judging, I'm just saying what the Bible says.
And if I don't love you, I'm not hating you.
If I don't love you, I won't be telling you this.
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you henceforth, in other words, from here out, walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind.
So, now hearing this, now knowing this, he's saying, don't walk like other people walk.
From here on out.
That's what henceforth means.
Having the understanding darkened.
That way it's like... Having the understanding darkened means fading away.
Being alienated from the life of God.
That means to cast out whatever, okay?
So it's secluded.
From the outside looking in, you know?
So...
Through the ignorance that is in them because of the blindness of their heart.
So this would be like Bible scoffers today and people like that.
What are Bible scoffers if you don't know?
Somebody who bashes the Bible and makes up lies about it and everything else.
They're devils.
So he's talking about these people, right?
That... These, you know, other Gentiles that don't believe.
They walk in the vanity of their own mind.
And having an understanding doctrine, so they don't understand.
They don't understand the scriptures.
Being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance, their own ignorance really, that is in them.
Because the blindness of their hearts.
Who being past feeling, have given themselves over to lasciviousness, I can't pronounce that right.
Yeah, that should be in the bloopers there.
Leciveness.
So, and to work all uncleanliness with greenness.
So, leciveness is, um... I can't pronounce that right, so... Whoops, there it is right there.
Filled or showing sexual desire.
So Paul explained a lot about this in Romans chapter 1.
But yeah.
So being past feeling have given themselves over to lasciviousness.
In other words, feeling like and full of sexual desire.
To work all uncleanliness with greediness.
But ye have not so learned grace.
In other words, they walk this way but they don't know about grace.
If so, be that you have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus.
But that ye put off concerning the former conversation, the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lust.
So your old selves, I think that's what he's saying.
So put off your old self, the conversations of the old man, right?
Which is corrupt according to the deceitful lust.
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind.
So he's talking about your former self.
That's what he's talking about.
So Paul's saying, do away with your former self.
And be renewed, because you're supposed to be born again too, right?
But also be renewed in the spirit of your mind.
Like all us men here, right?
It's what we think about 24-7.
Sex, sex, sex, sex, sex.
Growing up, right?
And now we're in the phase where when we do think about it, we get convicted.
We're like, oh man, sorry God.
That's to have a repentant of heart, you know?
But we're supposed to be renewed in the spirit of the mind.
To start thinking outworldly.
Not of this world, but out of the world.
Thinking of heavenly things.
It's awesome.
That you put on a new man.
In other words, become a new person.
Which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
So, the old man he's talking about, right?
It's not another person.
The old man is you.
Was you, I should say, your former self.
That was corrupted and deceitful.
And we're supposed to renew our mind, spirit.
Spirit don't renew our mind, right?
That we put on a new man, we become a new man, born again.
Which is after God created righteousness and holiness, true holiness.
So put away lying, that means do away with it.
Stop lying.
And speak to every man, he's saying, right?
With his neighbor.
for we are members one of another.
So put away lying, that means do away with it.
Stop lying.
And speak to every man, he's saying, right?
With his neighbor, speak to everybody.
For we are members one of another.
In other words, we are one like the church, right?
We, the believers, are the church of Jesus.
We're all one.
Be angry and sin not.
Let not the sun go down upon your wrath.
Neither give a place to the devil.
So, he's saying, if you're...
Angry about something, right?
Settle it then and there.
And don't sin.
Because every day we get ticked off, right?
Somebody does something or says something to tick us off.
And you gotta get ticked off, you know what I mean?
So... But... And when you be angry, right?
Don't sin.
And don't let the sun go down upon your ass.
In other words, don't go to bed, excuse my language, pissed off.
Put it away, and it's like, alright, it's done and over with.
Let's move on.
Forgive and forget.
You need to give a place to the devil.
So, in other words, you by doing that, you're carrying that wrath.
And to the next day, you're just giving a place to the devil.
Because the devil is going to use that wrath inside you, and anger, and magnify it.
And just make things ten times worse.
Instead of working things out.
You say you got into a fight with your spouse.
Bad fight, right?
This happens a lot in couples, right?
A lot of them will go to bed angry and they wake up the next day, they don't talk to each other.
It's just awkward silence and yeah, and it can get worse.
And no, avoiding it is not the way to do it.
Cool off a while, take a walk both of you, whatever the case.
Cool down, then come back and settle it before, you know, the end of the day.
This way you can kiss your wife goodnight.
Say I love you.
She says she loves you back.
And you guys wake up happy.
Start a new day all fresh over again.
Because if you let it dwell in you.
The Satan gets a foothold in you.
And that's just one example.
It could be a. You got into a fight with your brother.
A uncle.
Whoever.
You know what I mean?
Or a friend.
Cool off well.
And don't let the wrath build up in you.
Because you'll give a foothold to the devil.
So let him that stole meat no more, but rather let him labor, working with his hands the things at which is good, that he may have to give to him that need it.
So steal no more.
You know, those who stole steel no more.
They say meat.
I don't know where I got that from.
Alright, I'm sorry guys.
Sometimes it's like when I get tired, I just start misreading words.
So, let him that stole steal no more.
So, whoever stole, don't steal no more, he's saying.
So not me, guys.
I'm sorry.
On the audio edition, you're probably saying, what the heck is he talking about?
Alright, so verse 28.
Let him that stole Steal no more.
That's why it's important to read slow because even myself, I do this all the time and I mean I gotta slow down myself.
So yeah, if you steal, don't steal no more.
Right, that's the 8th commandment.
Don't, do not steal.
But rather, let him labor.
So instead of stealing, he's saying, work for him.
And if you want to give to people, How would you feel that?
You're like, alright, you stole something, right?
And somebody needed something, you gave it to them.
It's like you give them stolen stuff.
But if you worked for it, you'd feel better about it.
Because it wasn't yours to give in the first place, right?
Bottom line is don't steal no more.
You don't, right?
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth.
But that which is good to use for edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
So, and we all like, we sin a lot guys, you know, we speak some bad stuff sometimes, whatever it is, but Paul's saying don't let corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth.
That could be a number of things.
I could probably give a million examples of that.
In other words, think before you talk.
That's what he's saying.
But speak that is good, right?
So they can use for edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
So in other words, the people, unbelievers, right?
You're ministering to them, grace, trying to win them over to Christ.
How are you going to do that when you're all corrupt and speaking vile things?
You can't do that.
And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of redemption.
So don't grieve about it.
You got the Holy Spirit in you.
Don't grieve.
Because you're sealed unto the day of redemption.
That's the resurrection.
Well, unless you're here, then Jesus takes you.
But don't grieve about it.
You know, plain and simple.
The Holy Spirit's in you.
That all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and evil speaking be put away from you with all mouths.
And I don't know what clamor is, so let's find out what that is.
Clamor is an outcry or protest.
Bitterness and wrath, you know what that is, right?
And evil speaking.
That could be so much things.
Speaking evil, whatever.
Cursing somebody or something.
Whatever the case, but... How about... Be put away from you.
In other words, get rid of it.
Stop doing it.
With all malice.
And look what malice is here.
Malice is to desire to harm someone or feeling the pleasure of someone's misfortune.
So again, Paul is saying, put all this away from you.
With all malice.
Malice is all that harm.
Put it away from you.
In other words, stop doing it.
Turn away from it.
And be kind to one another.
Be kind to one another.
Tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God's Christ sake has forgiven you.
And remember, I think it was Matthew, right?
What did Jesus say about that?
He says, if you don't forgive others, right?
he's not going to forgive you.
You know, plain and simple.
If God can forgive you, Jesus can forgive you for the stuff you've done.
No matter what somebody's done to you, you can forgive them.
Because if He don't, He's not going to forgive you.
Again, be kind to one another, be tender-hearted, be forgiving to one another, even as God, for Christ's sake, has forgiven you.
For the sake of Christ, God's forgiven us.
So, for the same sake of Christ, you can forgive somebody else.
Doesn't matter what they've done to you.
Now, you know, it's easy said than done sometimes, but you know what?
Suck it up and do it.
Doesn't matter what they've done to you.
Because you know what?
If you don't do that, much as you might think you're a believer and all that, He is not going to forgive you for your sins.
He's made that very clear.
And if you've been following the studies here, since the book of Matthew we started in, you'll completely understand what the Bible says.
So if you guys got any questions or comments, put it in the comments section.
And please enjoy the live chat when these things premiere.
This is where you can engage in fellowship and all that stuff.
So, amazing stuff.
So don't take my word or anybody else's word for it.
Read it for yourselves.
And if you want to get a hold of me for any reason, prayer request or whatever the case, you know, go to Truth Radio, I'm sorry, email truthradioshowatartwork.com.

So yeah, we're done with the book of Ephesians chapter 4.
And we got two more chapters left in this awesome book.
And the next two chapters, we're going to start focusing more on heavy duty spiritual warfare.
As you see that guy in the background there with the full arm of God on, we're going to start focusing on that and what we as believers have the power to do in the name of Jesus Christ.
And if you actually understood and really comprehended As believers, what we're capable of, you're not going to let any evil bother you.
Even if you're confronted by a demon or something like that, you're going to know how to combat it.
So these next two chapters are going to be very important, guys.
And we're going to get into some very specific details on this stuff in Spiritual Warfare.
That's why I do a Spiritual Warfare Friday Show.
Because this is very important for us to know.
As believers in Christ.
Number one.
The number one thing we can all agree on, It's knowing Jesus Christ.
That's by far the number one thing.
But number two is spiritual warfare.
Because how are you going to defend yourself against an enemy if you don't know anything about it?
In the next chapter it says, know your enemy and expose him.
And we're going to get to that in the next chapter.
So we'll see you for that.
God willing.
So I love you all.
God bless you all.
