If you are receiving this transmission, you are the resistance.
Declaring war on the New World Order.
TruthRadioShow.com And welcome to the Dan Bedani Show at TruthRadioShow.com And welcome back to the book of Ephesians Our in-depth comprehensive study of the Bible We are now on to Chapter 2 and this is the book of Spiritual Warfare.
And it's such an amazing book.
It's like one of my favorites.
It really is because you just learn so much.
I mean, it's just amazing what angels are, classifications of them and everything else.
As we went over principalities, we went over dominions, we went over powers.
Uh, these are three different kinds of angels that have certain assignments and we're going to cover more of them throughout the series here.
So if you missed chapter one, I would stop right where you are and go back and watch chapter one.
Uh, very important to understand that.
So, um, like always we do our bio study approach.
Very important to understand and do.
Because without that, I mean, you're not going to learn enough.
I'm going to tell you right now.
The Holy Spirit needs to wait upon your heart.
It has to be spiritually written upon your heart in order for you to fully understand the Bible.
Again, like I always say, something a church can't teach, something a scholar, or a Bible academy, or a college, or a professor, or a university can't teach.
You don't know the Bible until you know it through the Holy Spirit.
I've got to make that bluntly clear.
So let's pray for wisdom and understanding to actually achieve that.
So Jesus, Yeshua Messiah, thank you so much for this great wisdom and understanding.
It's just amazing.
And thank you so much for what you do for us.
And once again, we ask you to forgive us of our wretched sins, Lord.
And please cleanse our hearts because, as you say, our hearts are filthy, Lord.
And I ask you to cleanse my heart and everybody else's heart here with your precious blood and dip our garments in your blood to make them pure before the Father.
And Father, we come before you.
And first of all, Jesus, we love you with all heart and soul.
And Father, we come before you, before your throne, and ask you to give us the Holy Spirit again, to help write your word upon our hearts today, and have him just give us that knowledge and understanding, the great comforter, in this case, Ephesians chapter 2.
And we love you so much with all our heart and soul.
And Holy Spirit just help us, be with us, be in us, be of us.
And give us that divine wisdom and understanding.
We love you so much and just thank you for everything you do for us.
In your mighty name we pray, Heavenly Father.
And also, let's not forget to pray for everybody out there that's going through any kind of mental, physical, spiritual, emotional damages or pain or suffering or attacks, especially spiritual attacks, Lord.
And we ask you to bind all the evil spirits from us, Lord, and protect us all from the forces of evil and protect this platform and protect everything we learn today.
In your mighty name we pray, amen.
And I'm very excited for this, guys.
So we read the scripture in context.
We don't just read through it.
We read the whole thing in context.
We learn what words are.
We do a lot of stuff.
So, when it takes somebody two minutes to read a chapter, we take probably half an hour to an hour.
So, just buckle up because we're going to learn a lot today, including myself.
So, context is key.
Remember, read the Bible in context.
Context is key.
And let the scripture interpret scripture.
And so let's begin.
If you've got a Bible, open it up at ThankYouShakeAndWakeRadio.com, where they broadcast our show on an awesome, amazing audio network.
So Ephesians chapter 2 is up on the screen, and if you're listening on an audio edition, please open your own Bible.
Very much recommending you to do that, because I'm the person that doesn't like to be like, just listen to me and that's it.
No.
I want you to read it for yourselves.
This way if I make a mistake and I like I say in all the books guys if I make a mistake all right I don't want you to feel bad I don't want you to say oh I don't want to offend you Dan no I want you to come up to say Dan you're wrong I am NOT gonna take offense to it I am NOT gonna be mad at you and in fact I'm gonna love you even more if you think I'm wrong about something or I messed up on something please correct me Cause I'm not perfect.
Sometimes I botch up names, verses, and everything else.
I'm not perfect.
So, if I'm wrong, whatever the case, and you think there's something I should have mentioned as well, by all means, put it in the comment section and I'll get back to you.
And trust me, you're not going to offend me, okay?
And I thank you to the people who have said, hey Dan, you were wrong about this or you missed something.
I looked at it and I accepted it when I was wrong.
And I'm like, yeah, and there's no room for ego in this stuff at all.
I, you know, the Bible says to challenge every spirit and challenge my spirit.
I welcome it because I want to learn.
If I'm making a mistake, I want to know I made a mistake.
So there's no room for fooling around when it comes to teaching the scripture.
That's why it took me years to do this.
I've always wanted to do this but it took me years to do this because I was always afraid of misleading people.
So I want you to hold my feet to the fire if I'm wrong on something.
Please.
So I can't emphasize that enough.
So let's go to Ephesians chapter 2.
So...
Paul continues on from chapter 1, yeah?
Now, more spiritual.
This is the book of spiritual warfare.
We're dead in trespasses and sins.
Where in time past, you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air.
Now, this is the book of spiritual warfare.
We're going to get into some heavy spiritual warfare.
So according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience.
So let's get into this nitty gritty, the meat and potatoes of these verses here.
So, normally a church would read through this.
Now we gotta examine this stuff here.
We're not just gonna read through it guys.
You gotta learn what this is talking about.
You gotta learn who the Prince of the Air is.
The Prince of the Power of the Air, I should say.
So the spirit, that's the spirit there, now works in the children of disobedience.
Who's that talking about?
That's Satan.
That's the devil himself.
He is the prince of the power of air.
The spirit that works in the children of disobedience.
So now if you notice, right?
He said we were quickened, right, who were dead in trespasses and sins.
So, what is repentance?
It's turning away from sins and trespasses.
So, as we pray as we do, right, we ask the Lord frequently to forgive our trespasses, our sins, our abominations, or any transgressions.
These are different types of sins and whatnot.
You know what I mean?
And uh, trespasses and all that stuff.
Trespass is violent in some way.
You know?
Sins is committing sins.
Abomination is, you know, the stuff they do in the month of June.
You know what I mean?
I'm gonna leave it at that.
Yeah, things like that.
Uh, so, yeah.
You get the point.
We gotta do a show on that sometime.
But, um, so I just want to explain briefly what these things are.
There's differences.
So, when time passed, we walked according to the course of this world.
So, yeah, when we were born to him, and he's talking to this church, right?
Right?
Of Ephesians.
So, it was us as well.
So you gotta understand, yes, these are letters that Paul wrote to certain churches, talking to those people, but this pertains to us too.
That's why it's there.
Because they had to go through it and deal with it, so do we.
And I know the modern day dispensationalism are like, oh yeah, we're not going to go through any bad stuff.
Oh yeah, really?
You think we are?
We're not?
Yeah, we are.
If the apostles went through hell, we're going to go through hell.
But Jesus says, those who endure to the end will be saved, as we learn in Matthew 24.
Well, let us suffer persecution as they did, especially in the end times coming.
We're not going to be magically beaten away in a secret rapture.
That's unbiblical.
So, as you, and you as a Quicken, right, who are dead in trespasses and sins.
Dead means like we were death and fell, that's what that means.
We were, yeah, of course we were alive walking on the earth, but when you're in trespasses and sins, you're dead.
You're already dead spiritually until you receive Jesus and, you know, the blood of the Lamb.
It washes away that stuff and you're not dead no more.
You're alive forevermore.
And of course, we all pointed to death once, as the Bible says, but where we go to the second life, not the second dead.
So we're in time past.
You walked according to the course of this world.
According to the course of this world, right?
And that's all the filth that's going on in the world.
The sin, the bad stuff, and everything else that's going on, right?
So, according to the print, and it was according to the print of the power of the air.
In other words, he's the one causing this stuff.
Putting nasty thoughts into your mind, uh, temptations, this, that, and the other thing, right?
And he's the spirit that works in the children of disobedience.
So people who willingly defy, the children of disobedience are people who willingly defy God.
They literally spit in God's face.
They don't care at all.
They have no conscience or care of disobeying God.
They indwell on it.
So, among whom, also, we all had our conversation in the time past in the lust of our flesh.
And this is the big, probably the big, especially for men.
Lust of the flesh is the biggest, and I have a problem with that myself.
Because when I see a girl, especially when we go to the gym, I mean, how they dress nowadays, yeah, you get flushed through your head with lustful thoughts.
And I got to turn away, God should give me for that.
You know what I mean?
It's horrible.
It really is.
So this is a big one.
This is why Paul mentions it first.
And I'm sure it's like that because I've been told by women.
Don't, you know, let women fool you.
They're just as bad as men.
And I believe that.
So... But I'm not a woman, so I don't know.
So, but regardless, right?
In times past, the loss of the flesh.
That's what kills a lot of us.
Fulfilling the desires of the flesh.
And that means... Fulfilling the desires of the flesh.
Which is doing unspeakable things, right?
Plain and simple.
And of the mind.
So probably like to watch pornography, things like that.
You know what I mean?
You get the point, right?
And we're by the nature of children of wrath, even as others.
And yeah, we all had the conversation times past in the West of the Flush.
So, but God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loves us.
Loved us, right?
His rich, great mercy Great love for us.
Even when we were dead in sins, again, specifying dead in sins, because I know people are like, oh, we were never dead, we're alive, because we'd be alive.
No, people take things to a new extreme, but that's why the Bible specifies dead in sins.
In other words, if we were to die tomorrow in the flesh, yeah, and if you were dead in your sins, yeah, you're going to hell, then like a fire after judgment.
That's why he says, even when we were, were dead in sin.
And if it wasn't for grace, yeah, right now, we'll always be dead in our sins.
Has quickened us together with Christ.
By the grace you are saved.
Yep, by grace you are saved.
It has quicken dust.
So let me see what exactly quicken dust means.
It's quicken dust to make more wrapping, all right?
So, to rapidly... Rapidly, uh, get us together, of course.
By grace.
Grace rapidly got us saved.
From the dead... deaths of sins, right?
It has raised us up together.
And made us sit together in heavenly places in Jesus Christ.
And I don't know if you can understand this, right?
Right now, no, we're not sitting in heavenly places.
We're here in the flesh, on the earth, and all that stuff, right?
But, it's hard for the human mind to comprehend, you know, the carnal mind.
But, this is already done in sediments.
You know, our life we're living now is probably residual, I don't know.
But we're already in the Kingdom of God.
If this makes sense to you.
Yeah, we're living in this time and present right now, but There's no time and space with God.
So we're already there, but we're just living through the steps to get there, you know what I mean?
If this makes any sense to you.
If it doesn't, put it in the comment section, and I'll try to explain it better.
I don't want to confuse anybody here.
So that in the ages to come, he might show the exceeding riches of his grace and his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
So in the coming time, right?
We're going to be shown exceeding riches of His grace.
That's the Kingdom of God.
That's all the glory of the Lord.
And His kindness toward us in grace.
For by grace you are saved through faith.
And that not of yourselves.
It is the gift of God.
So, no matter what you can do.
Or think you can do.
You can try to live a perfect life.
Yeah.
That's not going to save you.
Grace.
Because Jesus loves us.
Because the Father loves us.
And if you believe in Him, like we say all the time.
Believe He died on the cross and shed His blood for us.
That grace we are given.
And through the faith in Him.
That's important.
And I want to express how important faith is.
This is a word that's overlooked a lot.
Faith is the power.
And I'm going to bring up when we, um, I'm not going to frog hop over the Bible of hate doing that because I like to read things in context.
So, but I'm going to bring this up, uh, Jesus, right?
When that one woman, uh, she had, she was unclaimed.
And she just wanted to touch the garment of Jesus.
Jesus walked into a crowd.
She couldn't get anywhere near him.
So she pushed and shoved through the crowd and just hoping that she could just grab his tassel, his garment, right?
And she really believed if I could just grab his garment, I would be made clean again, right?
So she did that.
She reached through and finally grabbed his garment.
And Jesus stopped in his tracks and he goes, who touched me?
And the woman goes, I did, Lord.
And because he felt this countenance leave him.
And the countenance is like made him stop because he felt some surge of power, if you will, go through him to somebody else.
And if this explains it right, right?
Hopefully it does.
And she goes, I did.
So he said, so right away he knew why she was doing it.
And he said, because your faith You are clean.
It wasn't that she touched his garment.
The garment didn't make her clean.
It was her faith.
That's what Jesus pointed out.
It wasn't my garment that you touched that made you clean.
It was your faith that did that.
Because she truly believed in all heart and soul that she could just grab Jesus' garment.
That she would be made clean again.
And Jesus said, your faith is what made you clean.
Your faith in me.
So I just want to explain how important faith is and the very sincere meaning of it.
Because if you have faith, you can move mountains.
Literally.
And I really believe that literally you can do that.
Faith of a mustard seed.
That little tiny little thing that's smaller than a pea.
Little mustard seeds.
Very tiny.
If you have that much faith, you can move mountains.
And I think that I really believe that's a little.
Not that you want to go around moving a mountain.
But you know, you get the point.
But by grace you are saved through faith.
You gotta believe.
Jesus says all the time, we've been through the study set, you need to believe.
If you have faith in the Lord to do something, believe it.
When you pray for something, believe it.
That's what he says.
Believe it.
Have faith.
And it'll happen.
So once again, for grace you are saved through faith.
Believe you are going to be saved because you believe in Jesus, right?
Believe it, and you'll be saved, and believe that you're going to be saved, and you'll be saved.
And that not of yourselves, you know, there's nothing, no works, whatever you can do to get saved.
Believe and have faith, and you'll be saved.
Because it is a gift of God.
It's not a mandate or some kind of, oh, well, just here you go because, just because.
No, it's a gift of love.
From the Lord, from the Highest, the Lord of the Most High.
Not of works lest any man should boast.
So you can't boast around, oh, look at me, I did this and that.
I donated money to all this ministry and this charity and I helped feed the homeless and all that.
Well, you know, good for you.
That's great.
Glad you helped that ministry out.
Glad you helped the homeless person out.
But yeah, those works don't mean nothing when it comes to salvation.
It's grace that saves you.
Faith.
And once again, I have to emphasize all the time, this does not mean, okay, that you don't keep the commandments.
Does not mean it at all.
As Paul said many times, you know, we don't make the law.
And Jesus says to keep the commandments of God.
Plain and simple, that's ten commandments.
It doesn't mean it's a free pass to sin either.
Grace is not a free pass to go do what you want.
So, for we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works.
So, look.
Now, people misinterpret this all the time.
Oh, you know, we're saved by grace, but not of works.
You know, you make a boast, right?
They don't read that in context.
That's why we always, perfect demonstration here, why context is key, because this is what the dispensational churches will show you, right?
These two verses here.
You're saved through grace, In faith, right?
That not of yourselves, it's a gift of God.
Not of any works that any man can boast, right?
Don't leave it at that.
So it sounds like, oh, it doesn't matter what you do.
Grace is going to save you, right?
Well, if you go read on once again, Paul never says no such thing.
For we are in his... Whoops, hold on a second.
Alright, here we go.
I lost my screen.
So, Paul goes on to say, we are his workmanship.
We are his creation.
Created in Christ Jesus unto good works.
So, does grace mean we stop doing our good works?
Even though, no.
Good works don't save you.
No.
Good works don't get you to heaven.
No.
Grace does.
However, does it mean we stop doing good works?
No, we don't stop doing the works, because if you remember the parable of the trees, right?
Jesus says, if your tree is not bearing fruit, it's going to be coming down.
Your tree needs to bear good fruit, or it's worthless.
If you go to an apple farm, right?
Ask the apple farm, right?
If a tree stops growing fruit, what do they do?
The apple orchards there, right?
They'll cut it down and throw it in the fire.
Because it's not doing them any good.
It's just taking up space and they could be making money.
So you, as a person of God, if you think, oh, once I believe I don't have to do nothing else, that's it.
Because you took those two verses out of context, you got another thing coming.
And I can't stand all the time when people take Paul out of context.
That really irritates me like no tomorrow.
They really take Paul way out of context all the time and it's sickening.
And these modern-day dispensational churches tell you, oh, look at that, blah, blah, blah.
But if you actually read the next verse, you would see that you don't stop doing good works.
And I'm going to bring this up every single time this comes up, because the dispensationalism has destroyed the modern-day church.
Since John Nelson Dobbie, Cyrus Schofield, those clowns infiltrated our churches in this country, in America, in the UK, and all that.
Yeah.
It's dumbed down to a modern day church.
It's from the Jesuits too by the way.
We did shows on the Spectral Orphan Friday.
Exposing this.
So every time this comes up.
We're going to give examples.
We're going to show it every single time.
And I know it might sound redundant to a lot of you guys.
And I apologize.
But we need to constantly have this fuel.
Because here's the thing.
It might sound redundant to you right now.
Right?
But these things are going to come up one day during a debate.
Or during somebody's questioning your faith, right?
Or when you come across a dispensationalist.
These things are going to come up to you.
So you're going to remember this stuff.
Oh yeah, all right, cool.
Now I can use this for fuel.
Or ammo, I should say.
So once again, you say by grace only, right?
Not it works, right?
But does it mean you stop doing good works?
No!
Your fruit, your tree needs to bear good fruit.
Because where is creation?
We're created in Jesus Christ.
That's a good works.
Which God had before ordained that we should walk in them.
You understand that?
We need to do good works because we need to lead by example.
When you say Jesus doesn't mean you kick your feet back and not do anything else.
No, that's not how it works.
Therefore remember that you being in time past Gentiles in the flesh who are called uncircumcision by the which is called circumcision in the flesh made by hands yeah we already got to that the last book the Galatians talking about the circumcision and all that stuff and how you know it doesn't matter if you circumcise a mountain nowadays I know a lot of people grew up thinking we have to get your kids circumcised now you know
That was a Zionist movement here in America that was pushing that, trying to push the no-hide laws.
Yeah, that's a whole show all together.
So, I'm not bashing Jewish people.
I'm just bashing Zionists.
We're not real Jews.
So, anyway.
That at the time that you were without Christ, being aliens from the Commonwealth of Israel.
And having strangers from covenants of promise.
So today, in this sense, this commonwealth of Israel, today it's no longer talking about the nation of Israel.
It's talking about spiritual Israel now.
Back then it was, yes, it was called, yeah, they were from the commonwealth of Israel, right?
The country of Israel.
But now it's talking more about these days as a spiritual Israel.
God's Israel that's going to come on together.
His kingdom.
And strangers from the covenants of promise.
Having no hope, and without God in the world.
So, these Gentiles here he's talking to, right?
They didn't have the covenant.
They didn't have the promise or the laws or anything like that of the commandments.
So that's who he's reaching out to right now.
Because he's reaching out to people.
And here's the thing with the Jews, right?
They had all that, but they failed to accept Jesus.
At the time, right?
So Paul's reaching out to the Gentiles right now.
That's the average person out there.
Because when we all grew up, same here with me, we didn't have the laws, we didn't have commonwealth of Israel or anything like that.
Or the covenant of promise.
But now, in Jesus Christ, You who sometimes were far off are made nigh, which is near, by the blood of Christ.
So, by and because of Jesus, you were far off before, right?
But now you're near because of the blood of Christ.
For He is our peace, who has made both one and has broken down the middle wall of partition between us.
So that wall that, um, What does that partition mean?
So... Again, we like to look at the meanings of the word.
Whoops.
You always get the biblical definition, by the way.
When you look at a word in the Bible, make sure you type in biblical definition, because it's different.
A lot of words are different from today, so...
Petition.
So... Partition.
To divide a place of such country or two or more territories having... Units having separated political status.
What is petition?
KGB.
It's a wall.
See?
Alright, so it's kind of a little different from today's word.
See the meanings here?
This is today's meaning, right?
This is the biblical meaning.
A wall in the Herodian temple beyond the Gentile could not pass through.
So there's a wall talking about that divided, you know, kept the Gentiles from the Jews, right?
In the temple.
So, yeah, for his peace who has made both one, it has broken down that middle wall partition.
So this is between us, right?
So he's saying, because, you know, he grew up as a Jew.
Now he's reaching out to the Gentiles.
There was a wall that separated us.
That's why we didn't have the covenant.
That's why we didn't have the commandments or the laws.
Or the Commonwealth of Israel.
Or hope.
Or God.
Because there was a wall separating it.
But because of grace, that wall's been shattered.
That's what Paul's trying to explain, yeah.
So, salvation is offered to anybody.
That's what he's saying.
Doesn't matter if you're Jew, Greek, rich, poor, Gentile, whatever.
Yeah, you come to Jesus.
You can come to Jesus to anybody.
So heaven's immigration policy is just believing in Jesus.
It's not by your bloodline.
It's through the blood of Christ.
That's how you get admission into heaven.
So having abolished in the flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances, who are to make himself twain one new man, so make him peace.
So the law of commandments, you gotta understand too, because it's legal terminology that a lot of people don't understand, that's why they confuse things.
They confuse the laws between the commandments and all that, so... The law of commandments... So there's laws, there's commandments, and ordinances.
There's also statutes too.
We're gonna get to this some other time too.
So you need to understand the legal terminology of these things to make sense.
So in other words, just say we'll use adultery, right?
For example, remember when that woman and it's not Mary Magdalene, I used to say that all the time, but that was some lie created by the Catholic Church, I guess.
Well, the prostitute, or the harlot, whatever the case is, well, I'm sorry, the accused adulterer, that Jesus stopped everybody from stoning her, they said, who was free from sin, cast the first stone.
So, He told her to go and sin no more.
Now, the 7th commandment says, Thou shalt not commit adultery, right?
That's the 7th commandment.
That's part of the law, right?
The law of God.
Then you got the laws of, you know, the 613 laws, and you got the 10 commandments.
So there's laws, there's commandments, and ordinances now.
The ordinances were penalties.
So basically, the law Under the law, yeah, you're penalized, right?
And that the penalty in the law is the ordinance.
So, basically the 7th commandment says, don't commit adultery.
Right?
I'm just trying to explain this to you guys.
Don't commit adultery, right?
So, under the law, the ordinances set is the penalty.
So, in other words, dead ones are set, stoning to death for violating the 7th commandment.
Now, the 7th commandment itself doesn't say a person should be stoned to death.
They just laid out the commandment that you should not commit adultery.
The ordinances that they set was to be stolen.
That's why you learn, we're going to learn a little bit, right?
The ordinances were brought out and nailed to the cross.
Not the commandments, not the laws, not the statutes.
The ordinances.
That's why he told that lady, right?
Go and sin no more.
You're free to go.
He forgave her for the adultery, right?
And he blotted out the ordinances.
Under the ordinance, she was supposed to be stoned to death.
As Paul says, we're going to learn in a little while, right?
In the next couple chapters, I think it is, right?
Galatians, yeah, yeah.
The ordinances were nailed and blotted out.
Not the commandments, not the laws, not the statutes.
And if you want further clarification on that, if you go to the book of 2 Kings, it really gets into the legal terminology with these things out.
And it's four different things.
So I just, I don't want to confuse you all.
If you need more understanding, please put it in the comment section or email me.
Truthradioshowatlook.com and I'll explain them in better detail for you.
And I'll give you the biblical references for it.
But you need to understand, because I don't like to frog hop all over the Bible.
You know, that's people who go to different books, bounce all over the different books and chapters and all that stuff.
And like, I like to stick in context there.
So, yeah.
So understand, having abolished in the flesh the emini, which the biblical definition is deep-rooted hatred.
So having abolished in the flesh the hatred, even the law of the commandments contained in the ordinances, the law of the commandments contained in the ordinances, for to make himself two, one new man.
So make him peace.
And that he might reconcile both unto God and one body by the cross, having slain the enmity therein.
So having slain the hatred there be.
So you can make, you can reconcile both unto God and one body by the cross and slain the hatred thereby.
And came and preached peace.
And that's the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ.
which is near.
For far and near.
For through him, that's Jesus, we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
And that's the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ.
It's a he.
Holy Spirit, he's the Spirit of God, he's the Spirit of Christ.
So, through Him, Jesus, we have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Now, therefore, you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints.
Again, you become grafted into God's Israel, the spiritual Israel, right?
Adopt the child of God, and you're a saint.
And of the household of God.
You're inherited.
You get to inherit the kingdom of God.
The house of God, which is the kingdom of God.
And you know all the strangers.
So he's talking to the Gentiles.
is it not amazing that he offered the salvation for everybody and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone.
So if you understand what a cornerstone is, a cornerstone when you build a stone structure, a cornerstone holding everything up.
So, Jesus is that cornerstone.
He's the one, he's the support, the strength for the whole church.
The whole foundation of the church was built on Jesus Christ.
And then built on the apostles.
The apostles and the prophets were blocks of this building.
It's not a physical building, it's spiritual.
Jesus is the cornerstone of it.
Because remember, Jesus, before he was born in the flesh, he's the one who spoke to the prophets.
He's the one who appointed the apostles.
Even, you know, obviously after he came, right?
And that's why it says apostles and prophets, right?
Because the prophets, most of them came thousands of years, hundreds of years before Jesus became in the flesh.
Before the apostles arrived.
So the whole foundation is built on the apostles and prophets.
But Jesus is that chief cornerstone.
And who all the building filthy framed together.
I'm sorry, not filthy, fitly.
So, fitly, okay?
I rephrase that, guys.
So this corner, this foundation being built, right?
Was built on the apostles and prophets.
Jesus being the chief cornerstone.
He's the head of it, the core strength of it, the core of it, right?
And whom all the building fitly framed together.
In other words, nice and tight.
Fits nice and tight.
Grows onto the holy temple of the Lord.
So it grows into the Holy Temple of the Lord.
Because this whole frame that's been set up by God, it fits tightly and it grows onto the Holy Temple of the Lord.
So the Holy Temple is, you know, our bodies are the Temple.
That's why we've got to preserve our bodies, I mean, and keep them healthy.
Because the Temple of God is within us, you know?
Not that we're God, and I'm not gonna, you know, don't listen to those new age people.
We're not God, okay?
We're not gods, we don't, we're not like gods.
But our body is our temple.
The temple of the Lord.
So in whom you also are building together for habitation of God through the Spirit, see?
So our temples we're building, guys.
Through faith in Jesus and keeping the commandments and all that good stuff, right?
We're building our temple and trying to keep our temple healthy and everything, too.
That's why we work out, too.
You know, it's a big reason why.
But we are building together for habitation of God through the Spirit.
So, in other words, for our temples to allow, not allow, as you say, we refer to our temples to willingly accept the Lord to come in through the Spirit, into our bodies.
So there's tons of spiritual applications here, spiritual warfare if you will.
