my face when somebody says Jesus isn't the name because it's an English translation, and as they read the English Bible, translate a Bible and argue about it in English.
Makes no sense.
They use the English translation to argue about his name being called Jesus.
So anyway, John Pounder's host of NIC TV, The Midnight Ride, what's going on, brother?
I'm excited to talk about this because this hits close to home for me because roughly, I would say, 15 years ago, 13 to 15 years ago, I'm not exactly sure, I'm trying to remember, but around 13 to 15 years ago, I think 13 because I became a believer about 15 years ago.
And then two years after that, I had been reading the Bible and I realized that in the Bible, I realized that God had a name And I also realized that the commandments were legitimately what are written on our hearts.
These are the things that tell us how to love other people and how to love God.
And I realized that Jesus told us to do these things.
And so I started finding people that connected with me on that level.
And that's how I got introduced to the Hebrew Roots Movement, Sacred Name cults, and even prophecy cults.
was because I was a new believer, kind of new, you know, learning.
And I saw these people that had figured out what I had figured out.
And so I figured, well, these people can't be all that bad.
They figured this truth out.
And so I should be able to get along with these people really, really good.
So that kind of started my journey into that movement.
I would never say that I was a part of a cult, a part of it, because I'm a person that's very questioning of everything.
I'm a horrible employee.
I'm a horrible follower when it comes to stuff like that.
But when it comes to cults, I'm even worse.
I can't bow down to one of these leaders.
And unfortunately, there was over and over again, Some leader in the Hebrew Roots cult trying to get me to go underneath their leadership and basically submit to their authority.
And I thought, man, this is not what I'm really signed up for.
And so I started to look into it a little bit, started to see a lot of things that really I felt like it was choking out my spirit, just the arguments that were constantly taking place.
People started to confuse the works of the Spirit and the fruits of the Spirit with their ability to pronounce name a proper way or their ability to know all of the dates that everything's supposed to be on or or their ability to have the Sabbath on the day they decide the Sabbath is or whatever there was all these little divisions that were propping up all over the place and of course I believe that's by design and like Dan said at the beginning
I'm not here to slash your sacred name that you believe is the name I I think that to me it's pretty obvious by reading Hebrew and archaeological evidence that Jesus' Hebrew name was Yeshua or Yehoshua.
Yeshua for short.
That's what people would have been called then.
You can find that Hebrew name in history.
You can find it in the archives.
It's a real Hebrew name.
You even find it on gravestones, that name, in Israel.
And so it's a documented name that makes sense.
And there's a lot of different ones going around right now, and I'm not here to bash that or whatever, but When you get to a point to where you think you have it all figured out and everybody else around you is apostate because they don't pronounce it the way you do, then you start having problems.
And there's people that believe in the name Jesus and they're that way too.
There's sacred name cults as well.
If you say Yeshua, you're damned to hell because you're doing this or that.
Or you get called a legalist too, by the way, because we believe in the Ten Commandments and we get called legalists when both sides attack us big time.
It's crazy.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's 100% that way.
They attack you, no matter what your stances, somebody's there to attack you.
There's, you know, who knows how many different sacred names for the Father's name you have.
Just the ones I can think of, Yahuwah, Yahovah, Yahweh, or Yahu, Yah.
I mean, there's just a million different ones.
And instead of coming to the common ground, knowing that God's name is holy and Knowing that it represents who we're reaching out to rather than us being able to pronounce it the right way.
That's how we come together in unity.
And the problem was it was completely the opposite of all of that.
It was a disunity, divisive.
You'd have one group that all said the same thing and then one person Gets on a kick because of some Hebrew root cult leader that they found.
And oh, now it's Yahushua.
It's not Yahushua, it's Yahushua.
And if you don't agree with me, you're blaspheming the name of God.
And because Yahushua means, yeah, because Yahushua means vain.
And so it's just, it was, it was a nonstop thing there.
So I feel like pointing out some of these differences, pointing out that we can all be united.
Underneath the banner of the commandments of God and underneath doing the right things because ultimately it's the fruit that we know people by, not how they pronounce the name or anything.
And I feel like if God Wanted everybody to be in agreement about his name and know everything about his name in the Hebrew, then the people would have, the rabbis and the priests would have continued to use his name.
But they lost that a long time ago.
There was problems.
And when you read the ancient Hebrew, it's hard to find vowel markers.
But the beautiful thing about God's name is it means so much and it has so many different characteristics.
So being able to call him father, which is a legitimate name for him, like Abba, means father being able to call him Abba and being able to call him the Most High God.
These are things that we can all agree on that he is that and he is holy and he is merciful and mighty and he has all these different descriptions for himself and that's what we should be in agreement on because ultimately we need to bear good fruit.
We need to go and we need to Be able to help other people along the path, help them lift them up, because ultimately just teaching them a name is not going to lift them up and help them on the path.
They need to be taught holiness, prudence.
They need to be an understanding of the nature of God and what He's done for them, the forgiveness that He offers, rather than some sacred name or, you know, having the correct Pronunciation or having the correct dates or whatever and there's so many different cults along the way and I believe Dan and when in Matthew I believe it's I think it's Matthew 13 or Luke 13 one of the two or talks about the parable of the seeds And there's four different kinds of people in these seeds, right?
There are four different kinds of people that receive the word.
And only one of those kinds actually makes it all the way to growing and bearing fruit.
So we have three other kinds of people that do not make it there.
And by doing this show, my hope is that people Won't get choked out by these people.
They won't get burnt by these people.
They'll be able to look past that and realize that that's what these people are designed for, and they'll be able to move past it.
See, once I realized that these people are designed to distract me from my eventual goal, once I realized that, I was able to get past it and move on through it.
But a lot of people are stuck there because they realize the church is messed up.
They realize there's something wrong with this world.
And so they cry out to our Savior, and He saves them.
He saves them, He forgives them, He washes them clean.
And then as they're walking, they find that there's wolves waiting for them, just waiting for them right there.
And as soon as those wolves see them, they see that they're a tender, young, naive sheep.
They jump on them and leech on them with these kind of things and he the sacred name is a cult.
I've seen it.
I've been doing this for a long time.
This is not new to me.
People are always like, did you know that this is this?
And it's like, yeah, I knew that I've known it a long time.
But the problem is I'm not going to get hung up.
On the fact that this is what leads to salvation.
The Bible says, by your fruits you'll know them.
There's going to be all of these people.
And the final thing I want to say before I close this sentence or paragraph that I'm saying this story, is that there's going to be people, he says in Matthew, they're going to be standing at the right and the left of me.
He's going to have the sheep on one side, the goats on the other.
The goats are going to say like, we've done all of these things in your name.
In your name.
What does that mean?
They did it in his name.
They had the right name.
They did it in his name.
They healed people.
They prophesied.
They moved crowds.
They were able to cast out demons in his name.
And he's gonna say, depart from me.
I never knew you.
Because what he asked of people is to help other people.
He asked us to clothe the needy.
He asked us to feed the hungry.
To help the...
People in jail, the bondman, and just to be somebody that is a genuine hands and feet for him in this society.
That's what we're called to do in the body.
But the mission for these cults has completely deteriorated the truth of what we are supposed to do as believers.
It is so sad to see because there's a lot of these people come into this, Dan, and they really want to know something.
They really want That knowledge, but then they get corrupted by this evil mindset that they're the only holy ones.
They're the only ones, but they forget that the two people that went to the temple, one of them thought they knew everything.
He said, you know what?
I'm glad I'm not like these people.
And then there was the other guy that beat his chest from a distance and couldn't even Couldn't even you know, all he could do is say forgive me father.
I'm a sinner and that's the one who's justified It's not the one that thinks they know everything.
It's not the one that is supposed to be the holiest It's the one who knows that they're in need of a Savior the one who knows and can humble themselves before God Absolutely, and kind of similar situation with me, because when I was starting to learn the Hebrew name of Jesus, I'm like, oh, you know, Yeshua, Yahushua, and I used that a lot, too.
And then people, you know, started to draw me into that.
I'm like, yeah, it sounds pretty good.
Then they go on to, we'll get to the Lunar Sabbath later or whatever, but, you know, all these different things.
I'm like, all right, now it's getting a little controlling, you know what I mean?
And my cousin Bobby was big into this, and I haven't talked to him for three years now because He got mad at me for calling him Jesus.
He goes, you're going to go to hell for that thing.
I'm like, dude, relax.
I said, the world knows him as Jesus.
We, like what we do, John, like we, you know, that we reach out to the public.
The world knows him as Jesus.
So if we go out and say Yeshua, nobody's going to know who Yeshua is.
You know what I mean?
99% of the world knows him as Jesus.
So we need to reach out to people with that name.
And the thing is too, God gave us this English language.
And we got people out there that will say, oh, uh, I had some people, um, uh, you know, getting close with the channel here, then tell me not to say certain words in English, like morning or whatever, because it means this.
Mike, give me a freaking break.
You know what I mean?
Come on.
Like, this is the language God gives us.
And we're not casting incantations.
You know you have to literally you know dig into the witchcraft stuff whatever but not to confuse people but um, yeah Anyway, um this hebrew stuff and um, you know, if you don't pronounce it a certain way that I was using the issue Oh, no, no, no, no, which I'm gonna bring up this meme right here because I don't mean to make a fun out of this stuff guys but look hebrew roots cult be like Stop calling him Jesus or you're going to go to hell.
I heard that.
John's heard that.
Say his name right.
It's Yeshua.
No, it's Yahshua.
No, it's Yahushua.
No, it's Yahweh.
And these are the people within the Hebrew's movement themselves who can't agree exactly how to spell it.
So you got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 different ways that they can't agree upon themselves how to spell and say and pronounce right.
It's like you got to clear your throat and say, You know, whatever.
You know what I mean?
And I don't mean to butcher that name and Yeshua's name.
Of course not.
But, I mean, these people just go beyond a whole new level of stupidity.
And it really is.
Because they're sitting there.
They bash each other in their own group because they don't agree exactly how to spell and say it and everything else.
In the meanwhile, what is the cause?
What is the cause of the believers out there, especially the people new into the faith?
What is the cause?
The cause is major division and it causes confusion, right?
But we know the scriptures say, right?
What does the Bible say about that?
that first christians 14 33 says for god is not the author of confusion but of peace as in all churches of the saints plain and simple you He's not going to confuse you.
It's simple.
When you read the scripture, it's simple.
He makes it that way.
You know what I mean?
And how hard is it to follow those commandments?
How hard is it to just recognize, like John's saying too, we could get to the different names.
How many names and titles does God have in the Bible?
How many names and titles does Jesus have in the Bible?
So we're not supposed to use any of them.
We're not supposed to use a manual.
And one thing, I'll get into that later.
I'll save that for the... I like to... When I do these shows, I like to have like... I call it the nuclear bomb or the mic drop verse.
That just derails the whole operation.
I'm gonna save that to the end.
So yeah, it's crazy stuff.
And what we forgot to do, guys.
We forgot to pray coming into the show.
I apologize.
I think somebody was mentioned that too.
Forgot to pray, Dan.
So yeah, all right, so let's do that real quick and Yeshua, Jesus, we come before you and please forgive each of us individually of our sins that we committed and we ask you for forgiveness and we ask you to anoint us with your precious blood to protect us all from the forces of evil, protect this broadcast, protect John, and protect everybody in the chat room and everybody watching the show and the, you know, now and the future and everything.
And Lord, we ask you to give us divine knowledge and wisdom, and we ask for the Holy Spirit to come upon us, to write your word and knowledge upon our hearts, so that we may disseminate nothing but the truth, in your mighty name we pray.
Amen.
And I guess some people say you can't say amen because it means some Egyptian god.
You know this stuff just goes wild.
It really does and everything you say I do like sometimes I would like to throw my hand and somebody's like oh damn Badani's doing a 666 or you know like us Italians we talk with our hands and I mean you can't help it you know.
I have to hold my microphone for me not to do that.
You know what I mean?
And sometimes somebody will freeze the picture to say, oh, look at that.
You know, he's doing this symbol or whatever.
So this stuff just goes crazy, guys.
I mean, it goes from hand gestures to somebody even said he was bashing David Carrico to say, not to mention the person's name, but, oh, don't do the high five because it means this.
I'm like, give me a break, dude.
Seriously.
You know, so this is the confusion that's causing, you know what I mean?
Between all the stuff, the names, the Sabbath, just that, you know what I mean?
Then, what is a person coming into the faith?
Somebody new or thinking about coming into the faith, they're looking at this from the outside point of view, like, these people are crazy!
They're nuts!
And I don't blame them!
I really don't!
You know what I mean?
And now you just turn people away.
You know what I mean?
It's supposed to be simple stuff.
Jesus taught simplicity.
You know, I mean, people just in the churches just make confounding, you know, it's crazy.
Yeah, I think that it's by design.
So I realized it took me a while.
I can't remember what year it was that I realized that within the movement that I felt like I was a pretty big part of, you know, I had a show at the time, so I would have guests on and there were people that would always want to associate themselves with me that were in the Hebrew Roots movement because they realized that if they could get on my show, they'd get more followers.
And so a lot of people started using me for that.
And I started to see it.
It took me a while because for some reason, even though I had kind of, you know, been around people that were a little bit shy, Steve, because of my former lifestyle, that I started to see those same kinds of people involved in the leadership of the Hebrew Roots Movement.
And I'm not saying everybody that's in it.
I'm saying that a lot of the people that you would consider leaders in it have ulterior Alliances, let's put it that way.
Ulterior alliances even found some to be proclaimed Jesuits, some to be psychological operations people in the military.
Those people were exposed.
We had to expose those people and unfortunately, With the exposure of a lot of those people that there came attacks from the sheep rather than people being like, well, let's look into this, you know, it was the opposite.
So I realized really quickly that what we're dealing with is much bigger than what I was able to contend with.
So we separated ourselves from this movement altogether.
And in fact, I don't consider myself a part of any movement, nor do I believe everything That any other ministry might believe.
I'm a person now that I've had to take a step back and look and say, there is so many wolves steeped in all of the religions because I actually, you know, was in the Protestant church most of my life growing up and a lukewarm Protestant church person, by the way, but there was wolves there.
And Jesus said something really unique to the disciples.
And he was being sharp, and I don't think people really grasp what he was saying when he said it.
I think people read over it and think, oh yeah, yeah, you know.
But he said, be wise as a serpent and blameless as a dove.
And the reason he said that, because right in that same chapter, he says, I send you out as sheep amidst the wolves.
Therefore, be you wise as a serpent.
And harmless as a dove.
And when people don't get that, then they are missing out big time.
Because look, this is in plain English, in modern day English, he's saying, listen to me, you better wise up.
You better wise up and you better be prudent, sly.
You better know the ways around things, because guess what?
Those are wolves right there.
They're waiting for you.
As soon as I send you out, they're waiting for you.
And you better pay attention to what's going on.
And he gave us clues.
He gave us such simple clues.
But for some reason, we tend to overlook these clues because somebody has a little bit of knowledge and they can speak eloquently.
We'll overlook the clues.
The clues says you will know them by their fruits.
They're fruits, and you better realize what the fruits are.
And if you don't know, look it up and see what the fruits of the flesh are and what are the fruits of the spirit.
Make sure they line up with the fruits of the spirit, because if not, they're not trustworthy, no matter what they know, no matter how they pronounce the name, no matter what they do, they are wolves in sheep's clothing.
Sheep clothing means on the outward, they do everything good.
On the outward, they look like a sheep.
But when you deep down, when it boils down to who they really are, they're wolves, ravenous wolves that want to rip you apart, could care less about you, want to rip you apart.
You got to remember that, and you got to believe that.
If you don't believe that, you're already lost.
You've already been torn up probably by every wolf that's around you.
Oh yeah, it's nuts.
It's like literally you got a predator around every corner.
And it's not even a joke.
I mean, they did it to Jesus himself when he walked the earth here.
It's like literally a satanic predator around every corner trying to, you know, the Jews are constantly just trying to get him on something, accuse him on something to get something good enough to get him executed.
You know what I mean?
And they did that to Stephen, they did that to Paul, and just right down the list of the apostles.
And they're going to do it to us because Jesus says they persecuted me first.
They're going to do it to you, you know, so expect that and if you What I say all the time is if you're not being persecuted You're not doing your job That's what I say if you're not being attacked that means you're not doing your job And uh, we get attacked all the time and it's crazy, but you know what we need to endure it And here's the thing about steven, right?
He was around for a short time.
He was a replacement apostle after judas Uh, so he was around for a short amount of time, but he was very effective at a short time.
And when he was coming for his execution, instead of being despaired about it, he actually was overwhelmed with joy that he was going to be executed in the name of Jesus.
You know what I mean?
And he was ecstatic for it.
And I'm not saying, you know, we shouldn't be, like, all, you know, people would be all ecstatic to die.
But you know what?
If I'm going to die for my Savior, Don Ray, I'm going to be excited about it.
And that's going to come.
That will come when, you know, this Mark of the Beast comes and everything else.
You're going to be offered this.
And if you don't take it, it says it's going to cut your head off.
You know what I mean?
And you stand there, you know, with your head held high and praying for these people.
You know what I mean?
And the thing is, you should be happy that you're gonna be persecuted in the name of Jesus Christ.
Because He was persecuted for all of us.
You know what I mean?
So, that alone should give you that encouragement and all that stuff.
So, um, there's a couple, you know, John was mentioning some of the names here.
I just got a couple of slides here and there's more names, you know.
But, uh, some of the names of Jesus, you know, the Alpha and the Titles, right?
Alpha and Omega, Lamb of God, uh, the Word, the Only Begotten Son, Emmanuel, Messiah, King of Israel, Prince of Peace, Good Shepherd, Bread of Life, Light of the World, True Vine, and there's others too, and uh, Messiah, and uh, King of Kings, Lord of Lords.
And the other thing I want to clamp real quick, um, aside off the subject, because I get this all the time when they use Lord, right?
People say, oh, yo, actually call him Bal.
B-A-A-L.
And it's like, no.
It's like, people need to understand.
I mention this a lot here.
When you see, because the New Ages hit you all the time.
Oh, look, the Bible says there's other gods.
No, if you actually read it right, and other lords.
No.
When, because the thing is, people back then, they worship other gods, false ones, and other lords, right?
So when every time you see the word Lord of God or Goddess of Gods, That's a false, it's a lowercase g, a lowercase l. When it refers to Jesus as Lord, it's always capitalized, the whole word's capitalized, Lord of Lords, you know what I mean?
And he's a Lord of Lords, so he's not Bell, you know what I mean?
It's not the same thing, and this is the confusion we're trying to talk about here, and same thing with God.
When it refers to our Heavenly Father, it's always a capital J. When it refers to a false god, it's always a lowercase j. To point out, these are false gods.
It's not saying there's other gods.
They're just false gods and all that.
So, and this kind of ties right into this stuff here, but there's many names and titles for, you know, Jesus and God here.
You got Elohim, Jehovah, Rapha.
Yahweh, El-Ra, I think it is, and El-Alam, El-Shaddai, there's a song, a nice song like that, Adonai, El-Elyan, Jehovah-Jireh, Lord of Master, Jehovah-Nisi, I think it is, Jehovah-Shalom, Jehovah-Shamin, I think it is, Jehovah-Shalom, Jehovah-Shamin, Jehovah-Sabbath, and Word of God, and you know, he's also Heavenly Father, like John said, Abba, Abba Father, Heavenly Father, Creator, God Almighty, whatever you want, you know, any of those titles
Creator, God Almighty, whatever you want, you know, any of those titles and names, he's going This is the God of the universe we're talking about, in the flesh as well, now back in the spirit, Jesus Christ, Yeshua Messiah, Yeah, he's got to hear you.
And the thing is, my cousin was saying that same thing too.
Oh no, no, no.
And so here's the thing too.
When I was growing up in faith, we all got saved with the name of Jesus Christ.
So you mean to tell me that was all in vain?
And I cast the demons away in the name of Jesus Christ, so I know there's power in that name.
So if this was just a Roman invention, whatever the case, we understand that the image they portray of Jesus, the Romans did, is a Caesar bugger.
We know it's not Jesus.
And plus the second commandment forbids us to even make an image of Jesus Christ in the first place.
But, you know, they confuse the stuff.
Romans got a lot to do with this crap too.
Yeah, when you call upon the name Jesus in the faith you have, because remember, go back to the tassel, right?
The lady who wanted to touch Jesus' tassel, the thing is, she couldn't get to him because of the crowd.
So, she's trying to get to Jesus.
Then her mind's like, you know what, if I could just reach out and grab his garment, I'll commit made whole again, right?
So she fought through the crowd, and everybody's trying to talk to Jesus, and she reached out and grabbed his tassel, I think it was, and Jesus stopped in his tracks, and he looked around, he goes, who touched me?
And he felt this countenance leave for him.
And she goes, yeah, I did, and, you know, the woman there, and he goes, it was your faith that made you clean.
In other words, saying there wasn't a tassel that you touched or the garment.
It was your faith that made you clean, the faith in me.
So understand what he's talking about.
The faith, okay, when you call upon Jesus, yeah, it's a word, it's a name.
There's people out there called Jesus.
Does that mean they're holy?
No, it's the faith behind it.
That's what these sacred names don't understand.
It's the faith in the name.
Not to name itself, the faith in that, of who you're talking to.
That's how God hears you, through the Holy Spirit and everything.
And you got these people desperate in despair, and you know, they're the epitome of their life, and they're crying out, Jesus please save me, and like we all did, right?
And you mean to tell me he's not gonna hear you?
You gotta be a lunatic to, I'm sorry to say, you gotta be a lunatic to say no.
Because this is the Lord, or the God of the universe, whatever, the God of creation, And you're not going to tell me he's not going to hear you because you didn't properly pronounce and say his name.
That's just ridiculous.
Sorry for the long rant, man.
No, man, you're right.
I think that the reason cults are so good at drawing people in and getting people to be flying monkeys for them, for instance, and for those of you that don't know what that term is, it just in the Wizard of Oz, there was the Wicked Witch and she had flying monkeys.
That went out to do her bidding for and harass people and make problems for other people.
And you don't have to be stupid to get involved in a cult.
But what it does take is ignorance.
And that is really 100% what a new believer is.
They're ignorant to what the truth is.
And it does take somebody who is charismatic.
Somebody who thinks they know so much that they make you believe that they know.
It's amazing to me that some of these guys are able to do it because their version of the Hebrew name is not even a word.
It's not a word, never has been a word.
You can't find it anywhere written as a word.
And they're taking two words in Hebrew and putting them together that don't make a real word.
It would be like if I were to put two words together, like let's say smack and tastic.
So smacktastic.
Yeah, it means something, It means something.
I guess you could think of it like, yeah, it means you smacked them real good, right?
Smacktastic, I guess.
But ultimately, it's not a word.
It wasn't a word.
And so to people that are knowledgeable, which the Bible tells us to get knowledge, it tells us to do what we can.
If you read the book of Proverbs, it tells you.
So if you're knowledgeable, you won't fall for it.
But the problem is they draw in people that aren't knowledgeable and they make them believe it because they're so confident.
And that's one of the flaws of humans.
You know, the confidence of other people often leads us astray.
And that's one of the main things.
So if we can stay away from people that are 100% confident about everything that they say and really just study it ourselves instead, we'll be so good.
We'll be cult proof because cults are Getting paid.
There are people that are planted by organizations that need to know everything.
Intelligence organizations.
They're planted within groups.
They're planted within everything.
I've had to fight them, you know, fight these types of people that want to infiltrate off for the last, you know, eight to ten years.
I've been fighting These people off to keep them from jumping in and trying to take things over.
And it's not easy.
I'm telling you, you have to have discernment to see what types of people these people are.
And people, when I say that, most people don't understand.
They don't believe it.
But you've got to think about this, the amount of time and effort they put into churches.
The small local churches is phenomenal.
And so, you know, we reach about a million people a month.
So they're going to want to put their claws into where we're at, just like they want to put their claws into where Dan's at, because he's got people that listen to him every single week.
So they're going to try to get their claws in or they're going to try to recreate what you're doing.
And they're going to put a little twist to it, something that's just close enough.
But then when the time's right, they're going to Push something new in that if everybody doesn't believe this, look what we found.
You just don't believe the Bible.
If you don't believe this, look at this.
And then all of a sudden, a big unified group splits apart three or four different ways.
And so this is the kind of stuff we're up against.
And so people have to be aware.
And I think that if you're aware, if you can remember that you are a naive sheep when you start out, And you can remember that there's wolves trying to get you, then you'll be a lot safer.
When you're aware that there's predators around, then you have a tendency to walk a little careful or walk a little more carefully and to move in a way that is agile.
You're getting away from these things, right?
So we have to do that.
Don't don't get stuck in a cult right off the bat.
Trust me.
Don't get stuck in a cult period, but stay away from that stuff.
These people are dangerous and ultimately they just want to pull you down.
And I know one of the subjects we were going to talk about, too, is the prophecy cults, because they're there, too.
Pretty much any kind of little niche you can find, there's a cult attached to it.
But the prophecy ones are really big.
In fact, they are massive, even in the mainstream church.
Yeah, so that's very, you know, you got to be careful with the stuff, man.
And one, you know, false prophecy goes around.
I know it's a little off the subject.
It's the Catholic one.
And it's not really, I guess the Catholic Church ended up denying it later.
But when the Catholic Church was losing a lot of membership, they come out with this.
I forgot the woman's name.
The so-called three days of darkness prophecy that all non-Catholics are gonna be executed.
You're gonna barricade yourself in the house and burn candles.
Do this around your windows.
It's just a bunch of garbage.
But they all have these different prophecies that are not biblical.
And they'll make it sound like John was saying.
They'll make it sound biblical.
They'll take some truth and twist it in there to make it sound biblical.
And most people believe it because it does sound biblical.
But when you really look at it, it's like...
No, it's not.
And the scripture does say to challenge every spirit.
That's our job to do.
You know what I mean?
We're supposed to challenge ourselves, challenge each other.
That's what we're supposed to do to keep our, you know, iron sharpens iron and all that stuff.
And, you know, me and John, like, we don't consider ourselves pastors and all that stuff, even though both of us are ordained to, you know, marry people and all that stuff.
We're just considered, um, you know, servants of God.
I don't like to be held to a higher title.
Like, you got people out there who call themselves, um, apostle or a prophet, things like that.
I would never in the world ever call myself anything like that.
I am a servant of God, servant of Jesus Christ, a follower of Jesus Christ, and that's all I am.
You know what I mean?
I'm just, you know, like everybody else here, I'm watching, so...
Yeah, that's how we are.
But you get attacked, you get these people infiltrate.
I think it's called Frankenism.
The Illuminati did that here in America.
They infiltrated the smallest church in the smallest town.
You could not possibly think somebody could infiltrate.
Oh, it's only a church with 200 people.
No way they could do that.
Yeah, they did.
They went around.
Now why do you think we have all these religions today?
Yeah, back then I think it was, you know, you had Protestants, I mean, I'm sorry, Christians, Baptists, and Quakers, and Puritans.
A handful, that's it.
And all of a sudden we've got 40,000 different denominations of Christianity.
How is that possible?
Because the Illuminati, when they affected here in America, they infiltrated the smallest churches, they gained a lot of notoriety, right?
So they come into the ministry, They donate big money.
Actually John warned me about this.
It almost happened to me.
That people come in and donate big money.
Then all of a sudden they want control of things.
And all of a sudden they start telling you what you can and can't do.
And they think they have control of that.
That's how these people work.
So that's what they did to the churches here in America.
They would infiltrate the smallest churches.
Become very high notable people.
All of a sudden they get a position of leadership in the church.
Then, when they get everybody's attention as this great person, they'll split and go to another church, you know, open up their own version of the church, and of course this twisted version of what that religion was teaching, and all of a sudden you got this religion, that religion, that religion, and now today, 40,000 different denominations of Christianity, which is Totally ridiculous.
It should just be one faith.
Follows the Jesus Christ.
That's it.
You know what I mean?
But today, it's like that.
And that, you know, this Hebrew mood stuff, this is almost the same stuff.
Just causes division, and you got these cults out there who think they got it right.
They think they got the name of God right.
You know, nobody else does, but they do.
They're the only ones going to heaven.
You know, it's just, it's beyond ridiculous.
Yeah, and you know a lot of their training for the Illuminati was because of the Jesuit Adam Weishaupt.
Weishaupt was a professor of canon law and He, he was a, he was Jesuit trained and they're part of their training was to infiltrate.
And so he took that with them to the Illuminati.
And of course you have the Jesuits too.
They're infiltrating all of the Protestant religions because to keep the Catholic hold on these things.
And you're right, Dan, they don't, the links they will go to control are beyond what people really truly understand.
I think a lot of people.
You know, they're like, you know, things are going on.
And then when they hear about it, they're like, oh, come on, man, you know, for real.
Oh, come on.
But this is real stuff.
This is real.
And prophecy is one of these that is so easy.
And this is like the favorite tool of a religious narcissist.
A narcissist's favorite tool is prophecy.
And let me tell you why.
Because they can tell you anything that they want to bend to their own agenda.
And if you question it, guess what, Dan?
You're questioning God now.
You're not just questioning this person.
You're questioning a prophet of God.
And they will use that to abuse people.
They'll use that to hold hierarchy over people.
And sometimes they're demon-led, so some of the prophecies that they give out might be true.
But I see a lot of people using it, and a lot of times it's Almost just vain imaginations.
They're just imagining stuff because maybe they've read this or they heard this person talk about this and God, you know, it'd be like if me it's like guys, you know, God's been showing me that there's this group of People that are subversive, and they keep infiltrating all these groups, and this is the symbol that I saw.
It was a pyramid in this vision God gave me.
Let me know what you guys think about that.
And all of a sudden, people are like, oh, look, they're talking about the Illuminati.
God must be speaking to them, not realizing that literally everybody and their dog knows what that is, because it's on the dollar bill.
We all see it, right?
But they create these scenarios where they're just like, They all of a sudden they realize that there's an Illuminati, but instead of just them being able to realize that it's because they happen to stumble upon researching it, that's how they got it.
Rather than that, they think that all of their thoughts are God speaking to them.
And there's a whole channel with like hundreds of thousands of subscribers.
Designed to just having all these vain imaginations and everything is God talking about to them And if they're wrong, it's okay because they're just practicing they're not you know, they don't know all the things maybe they misunderstood what God was saying and but the most dangerous ones are the the super charismatic and the super narcissistic people that are Considered prophecy leaders.
I've seen abuse of all sorts.
In fact, if I can think of one that everybody knows is Jim Jones, you know, he was a prophecy cult leader and there's a lot of them out there.
This is there's not just one or two there's Literally thousands of them that people just like you have gotten involved in somewhere along the way.
It's very scary and very dangerous.
That's why we want to warn people.
That's why I was like, man, yeah, I would love to talk about this topic on your show because I can't talk about it enough.
I feel like.
People don't really understand what we're talking about here.
They see it in a light way when they should be seriously planning out their war days around it.
Because we're in war, people.
Whether you realize it or not, we are in war, so you better get your planning going.
Pretend like it.
And start paying attention and know that demons are literally swarming and trying to attack you.
That is if you're doing anything.
If you're just sitting like a lump on the couch and not doing anything your whole life, then they won't attack you.
In fact, you're right where they want you.
But if you are trying to live for God and you're trying to move with with authority in his name, then they're going to be attacking you and you are in battle.
You better behave like it.
And I'm saying that to myself, too.
And I've I've I've had to tell myself that every single day, because I sometimes I just want to let my guard down.
Dan, sometimes I get tired of being John Pounders from Now You See TV.
And I'm not and I'm being honest with you, because most of the people that try to get a hold of me, they all want something.
There's not too many people that I meet that don't know who I am or that want to be involved in me for what I can do for them.
And, and, but I have to be on guard all the time because I can't trust anybody.
And so we have to be that way though.
It's, it's a sad way to live, but it's also the only way to live and be triumphant.
Um, we can be, there are people that we can be, you know, safe around, like I'm safe, I feel safe around my family.
I feel safe around people that I love and that I've known and I've gotten to know, but we can't be that way around most people.
If that person hasn't invested into your life heavily for years and you've seen them at their worst, then that person's not your friend yet.
That's not their friend.
They might be your acquaintance.
They might be somebody you respect or whatever, but they're not your friend.
And you better not trust them with their life and their prophecy and all of these things.
You better think twice about that.
I'm telling you, I've seen so many people go down the tubes because of this.
And I mean, all I can say is this.
I fought against being a cult.
There's people that would love for me to be a cult leader.
They're like, well, we can move down there.
We could, you know, this and we could that.
And we could, you know, this.
I've had people basically beg me to open up for them to come down here and serve and do stuff like that.
And I'm like, look, I'm not trying to build a cult.
I don't want you.
I don't care if you ever listen to me again.
All I do, all I'm here to do is catch fish and catch people.
And God's here to make your seed grow, right?
Holy Spirit makes you grow.
And I'm doing my best to do that, but people want to be led.
They don't want to search out things for themselves.
And so I'm hoping, my goal, Dan, has been to hopefully have a whole new kind of fellowship.
People that are Bereans, 100%, they're not there to follow nobody.
They're not there to put a headship over them other than the King, Yeshua.
So that's where I'm at.
You know what that reminds me of when you was talking, right?
It just hit my mind with the Jews.
So, they want a leader, they want, like, a kingship, like you said.
And it just reminds me of the Jews, right, before, you know, they even had a king.
All the nations around them had kings, and God ruled over Israel.
And it was like, oh, we want a king too!
We want a king, we want a king.
And the father's saying, why would you want a king?
You got me.
You know what I mean?
And so they kept griping about it.
So he gave him a king and everything that comes with it.
Corruption.
Look at King Solomon.
Even David went a little astray for a while.
You know what I mean?
So that's what comes with it.
So that's the same thing applies here, guys.
If you've got this worship leader, like he's like a messiah.
I'm sorry, he's like a prophet or a disciple, whatever you want to call him, right?
And he's this worshipable person almost.
That's gonna lead to corruption and the power crops an absolute power crops.
Absolutely, you know, it does to everybody it does to all of us I mean, and that's why we're gonna keep a fine-tuned ourselves all the time But why would you need leaders when you we got the bosses who hotline?
I don't need to go to our Jim Jones I don't need to go to a Pope Billy Graham Pat Robertson Chuck Schumer.
I don't need to go there and he's clowns.
I I could call Jesus Christ direct by praying.
I don't need no middleman.
I don't need Mary, God bless her.
I don't need no angels.
I don't need none of that stuff.
I don't need no saints.
Don't need this one or that one.
Saint Bartholomew, whoever.
Or a rabbi, whoever.
I got Jesus in line.
I could call and talk to him anytime, driving down the road, on a bike, just in the gym, you know, working out.
I could talk to him anytime I want.
I don't need no middleman.
So why would you need somebody in your ministry to be this Like, the high standard disciple type person.
You know what I mean?
We run ministries and John runs a big one, right?
He doesn't exalt himself to be like that.
He exalts himself to be just like us.
That's it.
Not some high standard people like, look at me, worship me.
No.
John's one of the most humble men I've ever met.
And he just blends in.
He doesn't come out when they have these big things at the barn.
Him and David, they don't come out in these three-piece suits and all that stuff.
David always dresses nice anyway.
But, you know, and same thing with me.
I'll come out with a sweatshirt.
John does.
You know what I mean?
We're not gonna come out as if we're better or bigger than anybody else.
No.
We're just servants of Jesus Christ and that's all we are.
You know what I mean?
And that's what these churches do in these ministries.
They'll exalt somebody to this height, like Jim, you know, like Jim Jones or whatever.
You know what I mean?
As after this person appointed, anointed by God, you know what I mean?
And that's not how it's supposed to be.
You know, we're supposed to be followers of Jesus Christ.
That's it.
That's right.
Yeah, because even the leadership that Paul described was describing people to kind of help with these home fellowships, because like a bishop would be the kind of person that took care of the funds for the church and they would take care of that.
So it's like, look, if you're going to have a bishop, they need to be They don't need to be running around like floozies and stuff.
They need to be this, this, and that.
And so you had leadership, but it wasn't like to lord over you.
It was more like call to attention at a meeting.
So, you know, you go somewhere and it's like, okay, you have a treasurer, you have somebody that it's their house.
So if it's their house, most likely they're going to be the kind of the final leadership, but they're not going to be between you and God.
Two verses that I can think of that really just As soon as I gripped around these 14 years ago, man, it was like all of a sudden I got it.
And I hope that other people can get it.
It says in John 16, 13, it says, however, when the spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truths.
So the Holy Spirit guides you into all truth.
And then it says in 1 John 2 27, this is backing up Jesus's words.
It says, But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you, but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things.
And they're saying this because they realize that there's going to be a time to where apostasy is at its all-time high, and we're there right now.
We're there right now.
You cannot be putting these men over you.
I'm one out of who knows how many people are even in the right place mentally, much less spiritually.
And so we have to be very careful about this and realize that the Holy Spirit will guide us if we let the Holy Spirit guide us.
And you can't you can't always be beating against what God's trying to tell you because of this person said this or because this person you've You're beholden to this now.
You're beholden to this person's money.
You're beholden to this person's place to stay.
No, we have to be someone who is able to listen to the Holy Spirit rather than listening to man.
And I think that, yeah, it would be really neat to be able to trust somebody and not have to do any work ourselves, not have to be Bereans.
We could just fully trust this person with everything.
And even if they're not trying to be malicious, It doesn't matter.
There's a good chance they might be wrong too.
They might just be flat out wrong.
So if you're trusting somebody in their research, then you could be flat out wrong every single time.
Nobody in this world, I don't care who they are, I've met so many different types of people.
I've met great people.
I've met Ungreat people.
I've met them all.
I feel like, maybe not everybody, but all of you can say this.
You've met good people.
You've met all the different people, but no one is perfect.
I've never met one person, even people I've greatly respected and thought, man, this person has it or whatever.
Well, guess what?
God shows me.
No, this person doesn't have it, man.
This person is just like you are, and you're no better than anybody else.
And that's what I say to myself.
I'm no better than anybody else.
And like you said, I don't claim to be.
I don't want to claim to be.
There's probably people out there listening right now that have better fruit than me on a daily basis.
I do my best.
I'm a human.
And I pray to God that he just forgives me and washes me every single day because That's the only hope I have in this world, and that's the only hope you guys have, too, really, if you really want to be honest with yourself.
Yeah, and don't get us wrong, guys.
If you ever have a ministry, obviously, you've got to keep order.
Somebody's got to be there to keep order, things organized.
I mean, we're not saying no leader at all.
We're talking about a leader of the type, like John just said, that puts himself or herself between you and God.
That's the leader you don't want.
Yeah, obviously, when you, again, we use a bond, for example, right?
Him and David, They, you know, they organize things and they run the show because they organize things, but they're not putting themselves between you and God.
That's what we're trying to say, yeah.
So yeah, if you have a ministry and it gets big, you need to have a group of people that you can trust to run, you know, the treasury part, run the social media thing, to contact people and all that.
There's organizations and organizations that you need to be involved with.
Proverbs.
to run a successful ministry.
But we're not talking about that.
We're talking about the people, again, who, I just want to clarify myself with all this stuff here, the people who exalt themselves as they're mediated between you and God.
You know what I mean?
That's what we don't, you know what I mean?
And us too, like, I tell people all the time, if I mess up and I do my Bible study videos, and I know you guys are doing the Psalms, I believe it is.
The Proverbs.
We're doing the Proverbs, yeah.
Proverbs, yep.
And, you know, my videos, everyone, my videos say, hey, guys, if you think I did something wrong, put it in the comments section, I'll get back to you.
You know what I mean?
And if I'm wrong about something, a couple times somebody did correct me, and I fixed it.
You know what I mean?
There's no pride at all to be wrong.
You know what I mean?
And the thing is, we need to iron shop and iron.
The Bible says to challenge every spirit, but when you get these cults, like we're trying to describe here, they, you know, you can't challenge them.
And if you challenge them, like John was saying earlier, You know, you're going against God, you gotta go to hell, and they scare the heck out of you.
And that's what these big religions do.
They put this person up there, like, you can't challenge them, you can't say nothing against them.
Sounds like the Catholic Church, too, with the Pope.
Yeah, and if you're challenging him or her, you're going against the Lord.
You know, that's not true.
The Bible says to challenge every spirit, and I'm gonna repeat that religiously.
Because that's what we need to do and the guys if you think I'm saying something wrong by all means hit me up There's a million ways to contact me.
You tell me hey, Dan, you're wrong about this.
So this guy I read Lamar in the chat room I don't know if he's here now, but there's a couple times that he corrected me and I'm like, wow Alright, and I'm humbly accepted that and it's like yeah, you're right about that and I corrected myself So that's what we all need to do is to be humble and and you'll get you know You go go far with the Lord, you know about these cults.
They don't want to do that.
I Yeah, and be careful how you speak to people, because I don't know how many people that, when I left the Hebrew Roots Movement, I actually made a video about why I was stepping away from it.
There was a lot of people that lied about me, saying, oh, he doesn't want to follow the commands anymore, or he's this or that.
But I broke down the reasons why.
Well, here we are, 2024.
This was, I believe, 2017, somewhere around there, when I broke free of that, maybe 2018.
And so, 2024, I've got people that email me that say, listen, man, at the time I said some really horrible things to you because I thought this.
But now I understand where you're coming from.
I get it because the same things happen to me.
There are people that are on the path and they will find the path because they're truly seeking.
They're wrapped up in that movement right now and they will find their way through.
So my goal tonight is to maybe help people save a few steps if they're truly seeking God because I would say that Because the way is narrow and few find it, that not everybody truly out there is truly seeking God.
They may have found something at the beginning that caused them to feel good and then they jumped on it.
But truly seeking God is being willing to look past your feelings.
Rather than being like, well, I believe this because this person believes this, this person, have you heard of this teacher?
They told me this.
It's being able to look past that and say, if the information presented to me is compelling enough and I can find enough witnesses to transform my way of thought, I have to be willing to do that.
That's the only way to become a person who is cult-proof.
But you have to be willing to look away from the cult.
You have to be willing to look away from what these people are saying and not get too attached.
They might get mad at you, and you just have to be willing to deal with it.
Some people get spicy when you don't agree with them, and that's just the nature of humans, but that doesn't mean that you have to agree with them.
And if they kick you out of their cult, then there you go.
So, you know, there's certain things that You know, I won't allow within our fellowship group like blaspheming God and stuff like that.
But if somebody disagrees with me about a Bible prophecy or about an interpretation of this verse or that verse, I'm not going to kick them out.
But cults will.
You can agree with them on a consonant, how it's supposed to sound or a vowel marking, how it's supposed to sound.
And you're all of a sudden you are a heretic.
Bent for hell, and then they'll take somebody and tell them that they better leave their whole family.
Your family's going to send you to hell.
They're dragging you down.
They're of the evil one.
Your friends are causing that and this, and you have to get away from them.
So they try to isolate you from the people that actually love you so that they can prey on you.
And so save ourselves some steps.
Don't even get involved in a cult, man.
That's like the highlight of the night.
Don't get involved in a cult.
Yeah.
You know?
Bad thing to do.
Again, I can't say enough.
Just follow Jesus.
You won't go wrong.
You won't go wrong.
And another thing too, it's like...
Another example of this whole thing we're trying to talk about, right?
So I get involved with these debates, because I think debates keeps you sharp.
You know what I mean?
With the scripture and all that, and these Bible debates and all that.
So, you know, for example, with, you know, the Sabbath, a lot of people think it's Sunday.
I'm not going to go down that road, but one of those examples here.
So you got people who say, whoa, this one said this, this one said that.
This pope, you know, they'll make references to popes, so-called saints, one of the second generations of the early church fathers, whatever.
Everything, like, but the Scripture.
And the only time they'll bring one or two verses up in the Scripture that are out of context.
And I'm like, I don't, you know, no offense to these people, I don't care what those people say.
I don't.
Don't care what this one said, or Barnabas said, or whatever.
I don't care.
The only thing I care is what the Scriptures say.
If Jesus says, you know, to do something, guess what?
You do it!
It doesn't matter what this father said or whoever said hundreds of years later and they wrote a whole thesis on it.
I don't care about that.
I'm never gonna bother reading because all you have to do is anything.
Very simple.
Read what Jesus did.
We're supposed to emulate Messiah, right?
You know, follow what Jesus and apostles did, right?
Like the Sabbath, right?
The apostles kept the Sabbath.
Jesus kept the Sabbath.
He's the Lord of the Sabbath.
And you got all these people out there, oh, it's Sunday, whatever, so...
Who are you going to listen to?
You're going to listen to Jesus that vividly stated to keep the commandments of God, because you've got the dispensations out there saying, oh no, Ten Commandments are no longer valid.
You know, if you believe that, you're lawless.
And yeah, you are going to go to hell for that, because I don't say that in the Scriptures.
Jesus said the lawless will not enter the Kingdom of God.
But if Jesus kept the commandments, the apostles kept the commandments, and Jesus said several times, and he pointed out in Revelation 14, 12, the end time saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Christ.
That's the patience of the saints, right?
So if he says this, guess what?
It's not a mystery.
It's not a... You know, complicated.
You keep the commandments of God.
That's the Ten Commandments.
There's, you know, nothing wrong with that.
You know, we could go on to all these different examples and all that, but with these cults and all that, what they're doing in the Hebrew's movement, they are setting their standards.
Half of them are not even biblical.
They'll set their standards and It's the contrary description.
I'm like, well, hold on.
Didn't Yeshua say this?
Oh, no, yeah, but this one said that and all that.
This rabbi, you know, said this.
I don't care what they said.
I don't want to know what Jesus said.
Jesus says this, I'm doing this.
I don't care what a hundred thousand people said afterwards.
I don't care if it's a million people said afterwards.
Jesus says to do this, I'm doing this.
I'm not going to listen to a man, plain and simple.
Amen to that, man.
Something that comes to mind with the commandments and testing ourselves to see if we're in God is Jeremiah 31, 33.
It says, but I'll make a covenant and let me just read it.
I'll put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts and I'll be their God.
And then you see that mirrored in Romans chapter two and Hebrews chapter 10.
And this covenant that is written in our hearts, we should be able to bear witness to this when we read the law of God.
Because I can tell you this, if you have it in your heart to say, it's okay for me to lie, It's okay for me to kill.
It's okay for me to commit adultery.
It's okay for me to rip somebody off and not pay them back.
It's okay for me to eat the foods that God said was abominations.
It's okay for me to do the sexual acts that are considered This means that you do not have the law written on your heart because the law bears witness to that.
So if you can read the law of God and you can say, you know what, I understand that.
I understand why he said that.
I can get why he said that if a person does this, then this is supposed to happen to him because that's justice.
I can understand that.
I can understand why God says not to lie.
Because if you lie to people, that means you don't really love them, and it means that you are going to hurt people.
And if you commit adultery, you're going to destroy your family.
If you murder people, you're going to get killed one day, or you're going to destroy people's lives and all of these different things.
We should be able to say the laws are in our heart.
We shouldn't even have to look at the law.
But since we have the law, it's a really good test to see if the law is written on your heart.
Because if you're going out there breaking the laws of God, then you have a different spirit on your heart than the one that you're supposed to have.
And I think it's really clear.
It's amazing to me how the church will say, well, the law is written on our heart.
It sure is.
It sure is.
And that's the way it's supposed to be anyway.
His people will have the laws written.
I don't think anybody has ever had to tell me that it's wrong to kill people.
I don't think anybody's ever had to tell me that it's wrong to go and do some of these immoral acts that people are doing nowadays.
I don't think anybody's ever had to tell me any of that.
I think that it's been written on my heart this whole time.
And so because it's been written on my heart, I was always defying God when I went against it.
Even as a kid, before I was even a believer, the law of God was written on my heart.
I knew it was wrong to do the things that I was doing.
Even though I wanted to believe, I didn't know.
It was there, man.
And that, to me, is the biggest witness that you are a child of God, is because the law is written on your heart.
And you think it's holy.
You like it.
God doesn't offend you when he tells you not to go out and Steel and do all these different things.
He doesn't offend you when he says, look, I gave you a Sabbath day for you to rest because once you start taking advantage of that Sabbath day, you realize that your body's like a battery and you needed that day to to get going.
And when you see that the foods that he calls abominations are now even by science considered carcinogens and You know, just like for pork, for instance, when you eat pork, it does something to your blood cells for like an hour after you eat it.
If you don't believe me, look it up.
What is it doing?
I don't know.
But God says that's not food.
It's not food.
In fact, it's an abomination.
Don't eat it.
We got to figure out why.
Right.
I remember God told me that before I even knew that was as part of his law, man.
He told me that in a dream, like he showed me eating.
I was eating pork.
And in this dream, there was these creepy guys standing over me in the hospital.
And I was like, and it was like instantly I knew I don't need to eat this anymore.
And then I read it in the Bible.
It was, this was what we're supposed to not do.
And it's crazy because I, my whole life I'd read parts of the Bible because we had to take them for Bible class for, for Bible college, but I never took that part of the Bible seriously.
So when I saw it and I realized that God didn't just say, don't eat it.
He said it's abomination.
And the fact that it was in my heart to believe that before I even read it, that was a sign to me.
I didn't have to be convinced.
You don't have to be convinced that something's bad if it's bad, if you have the law of God written.
on your heart.
You don't have to be led off by a cult if you have the law of God written on your heart and if you stick to what he said is to, you know, not put anybody over you for headship.
The Bible is clear on that, that a man doesn't need to have somebody.
His head is Christ and a woman's head is her husband.
And so we shouldn't be putting a bunch of people over the top of us.
But when we do things that are against God's word, it ruins our lives in ways that we might not even understand it's doing it.
There's a lot of people living in curses right now, Dan, and they don't even know why.
But if they actually read the word, they would see, OK, I'm living in a curse because I'm doing this, because this is going on in my life.
I'm paying the consequence.
Just something to throw out there.
I'm not a person that thinks I'm better than anybody, but I can say that the law of God is truly written on the hearts of his people, and I don't think they have to be convinced that the law of God's a good thing.
I don't think they have to be convinced of that.
I don't understand the mindset of people that won't submit to the idea that the Ten Commandments are good, and even some of the moral laws that God gives are all good, too.
And the fact that people can't Submit to that says a lot about them in a way that they should test themselves and see are we even Even in Christ Every person that yeah, I call them commandment deniers.
I asked them ten questions and not one could answer not one And I asked him, if the Sanctuary is abolished now, right?
Is it okay to worship other gods now?
Could I commit adultery now?
Could I build a statue and worship in it?
Is that okay?
Now could I, you know, since they're abolished, is it okay to use the Lord's name in vain?
Could I dishonor the Sabbath?
Heck, could I dishonor my mother and father now?
Could I go murder?
You know, could I go steal?
Could I go, um, commit adultery?
You're sitting still and lying covered and all that.
Can I do that stuff?
Can I go to your house right now?
Let me steal your car, sir.
That's a rebullish, right?
The pastor who's got that Ferrari in front of the church to show off.
I'm going to steal your car.
Guess what?
I'm going to go cover your house.
I'm going to have adultery with your wife.
And you get in the way, I'm going to murder you.
You can't do that.
Why can't I?
You said the commandments are abolished.
Not that I would.
They even go as far as to say that if you try to keep one area of the law, you have to keep them all.
Does that mean I have to go killing somebody every day?
Guilty of following the law that day?
I mean, that's crazy.
Yeah.
Of course, none of them can answer that question.
One verse I want to bring up here because I did a video on 2 Corinthians 3 and this really caught my attention big time because this is where a lot of people like us understand how important the Holy Spirit is.
So, It says, 2 Corinthians 3 verses 2-4 says, You are an epistle written in our hearts, known and read all of men.
And for us so much, as you are manifested, declared to be epistles of Christ, ministered by us.
Written not in ink, right?
It's not written in ink, but with the Spirit of the living God.
That's the Holy Spirit.
Not on tables of stone, but in fleshly tablets of the heart.
In such as that we trust that we do Jesus Christ in God word.
To God word, I'm sorry.
So basically he's saying, and he brings on Moses later on in the chapter there.
So he's saying, you wrote them on tablets, but they're more written upon your heart.
Like John was making reference earlier that Paul was saying to the Church of Corinth, you know what I mean?
That these laws need to be written upon your heart and the Holy Spirit.
Charles Spurgeon actually Well, I read a lot of his writings.
He was big on the Holy Spirit, and he actually points this out to a lot of mainstream churches.
They don't like what he had to say because he defied the mainstream churches.
You know, that's why, you know, these mainstream churches hated Charles Spurgeon.
And so...
That's what we're trying to get at.
The Holy Spirit writes these things upon your heart.
So every time I do these Bible studies, what we do, like today too, we prayed and said, hey, I asked the Holy Spirit to write the truth and write his word upon our hearts.
And when you do that, you understand the spiritual application of the scriptures.
That when you understand these spiritual applications, you don't have these cults out there to fool you.
They can't fool you no more because you got the word of God written upon your heart.
Now, nobody could fool you, no.
Because if the Holy Spirit writes it upon your heart, who could overpower the Holy Spirit?
Nobody.
So it's crazy.
And I'm speaking of the Holy Spirit.
Some of these groups out there in the Hebrew movement.
The Hebrews are the messianic, the ones who blaspheme the Holy Spirit.
I think it just depends on the group, man, because they're not all created equal.
Yeah.
They're not all created equal.
Some of them do.
Some of them are hold to Kabbalah type stuff.
Some of them aren't down that path yet.
So it's hard to like lump them all into the same thing because not all of them are the same thing.
I mean, there are there are people that are in the Hebrews room that don't even know they're in it.
And in fact, and they may not even They may not subscribe to all of it, but it's just the place that they can find fellowship.
And they're able to do that without getting involved in cult politics.
And there's some people like that.
But, you know, a group that are the group that I would love to, you know, if we're if we're going to have a group of people, let's be like the Bereans and in Thessalonians, there were Thessalonian Jews.
And it says they were more noble.
Noble people don't bow down to other forces.
They don't cower down when people try to take away the things that they love and everything like that.
What they do is they believe their rights are given to them by God.
This is what being noble means.
Nobility.
They believe that.
The Bible says the Bereans searched the scriptures to see if what they were saying was the truth.
That's the kind of group, if anything, we want to be as Bereans, not the other kind.
They were eager to hear.
It says they were eager to hear Paul and Silas.
And they were ready to search it out to see what he was seeing was telling the truth.
And so that's where we got to be, man.
Seek it out.
See if what we're saying is the truth.
See if what we're telling you tonight is the truth.
See if God lays it on your heart, man.
I think that it, to me, it bears witness.
To me, it's like, I don't have to convince myself But of course my job isn't to convince you either.
Uh, I feel like if the spirit's with you, you're going to be compelled to follow that.
And if he's not, you won't.
It's very simple.
I'm not here to convince you.
I'm not a salesman.
Um, I'm just a fisher, you know, I throw the, throw the bait out there, throw the net out.
And if you jump in, you jump in.
If you don't, you don't.
Yep.
So now guys, we're going to move to the Lunar Sabbath.
So basically, long story short, and it's a little complicated what they make it, they believe the Sabbath is according to the moon, right?
The moon cycles and all that stuff.
So I call it the Lunar, the Lunacy, I'm sorry, of the Lunar Sabbath.
So I got three points here I found on the website, which are great.
Three simple proof points that The new moon was not created, you know, it's not the Sabbath.
You know, so Proof 1 here says the new moon was created on the fourth day and the Sabbath was established on the seventh day.
Three days later, right?
And it says the Jews in the first century observed the Sabbath on the seventh day in which a Roman called Saturn, uh, Saturday, I'm sorry, naming it after one of the planetary gods, Saturn, writing as the period testified to with the being said that the Sabbath was being observed on the wrong day.
So this is their excuse to make.
You know, then he's correcting them.
You know, this guy, I forgot the guy's name who wrote this article, but he's saying, I assure you that Yeshua would have mentioned something, especially during the time where he was accused of breaking the Sabbath.
He would have been the time to tell them that they were celebrating the Sabbath on the wrong day, but he didn't.
So, that right there alone should be good enough, because when they were accusing Jesus because they went out to pick corn or whatever, right?
They wouldn't do it to sell or work, they were just doing it because they were hungry.
And Jesus made a point about that, because they accused him of violating the Sabbath, working on the Sabbath, which again, he wasn't working.
So, if the Sabbath was the wrong day, would you think Jesus would have told them, hey, hold on guys, it's not the right day, because according to the moon, it's not the right day, right?
That was a Sabbath, right?
And simple, well, number two, simple proof, Yeshua would have corrected the Jewish leaders if, in his day, if they were keeping the wrong seventh day.
And Yeshua not only went to the synagogue and celebrated the Sabbath every single Saturday, but also his disciples.
They did the same thing for hundreds of years without fail.
And if the lunar Sabbath was valid Sabbath, then they would have been celebrating the lunar Sabbath.
But they weren't.
And you won't find that in Scripture, by the way.
They, you know, them celebrating the Lunar Sabbath.
The entire reason that Rome stamped approval of changing the Sabbath to Sunday because the Jewish Christians were celebrating the Sabbath on Saturday.
And, you know, we know the whole thing we did shows on how Constantine and all that changed the Sabbath.
You know, so, simple proof number three.
If the full moon was a weekly Sabbath, how could the third day that Yeshua was in the tomb also be the weekly Sabbath?
Think about that for a minute.
It can't, for he died on the Passover, and Passover is always on the full moon, on the 14th of Nisan.
And so, three days later, he had to be 17th of Nisan, and scripture says the seventh day, Sabbath, was over.
They came to the grave, and it was dark, and it had already been risen.
He was already gone.
Early Sunday morning, when Mary Magdalene went there, she didn't go there to see him resurrect.
No, the angel said, no, he was not there, and the angel told her, no, he's already gone.
You know, so thus proven, disproven, I'm sorry, this disproven, this Lunar Sabbath concept.
And although there is much more that could be said on the subject, and evidence alone invalidates the idea of the Lunar Sabbath.
And the Lunar Sabbath is lunacy and unbiblical, and God is not the author of confusion, you know.
And right here, if, right here, Genesis 2, verses 2 and 3.
And the seventh day, God ended His work, which He had made, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work He had made.
And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it.
Because that and it, he had wrested from all his work which God had created and made, right?
So, and you know, go read the entire chapter of Genesis 2, right?
You're not going to find nothing at all associating the Sabbath with the moon.
Nothing.
In fact, the only time it talks about the moon is Genesis 1, on the fourth day that he created the sun, moon, and stars.
So, why would he create the sun, moon, and stars on day 4 and day 7?
It makes no sense.
You know what I mean?
Because it's simple.
Bang!
Right there.
The 7th day.
And I forgot to bring the calendars up.
Every calendar in the world can all agree on one thing.
What that 7th day is, what we call Saturday, it's called Sabbath in Israel, or Sab, and similar names like that throughout the world.
So, every calendar has a 7th, you know, 7th day.
It all lines up with what we call Saturday.
So it's simple.
And again, God is not the author of confusion, but of peace as in all churches of the saints.
1 Corinthians 14.33.
How much complicated do you need to make things?
You got to sit there, play with a calendar, calculate the days.
No.
The seventh day.
Plain and simple.
It's Saturday.
Or Sabbath, whatever you want to call it.
It's important that they muddy that because that, you know, helps them build another subversion.
So subversion is a real common tactic of these people, and subversion can mean a lot of things.
It can mean infiltration type stuff, but what it actually means is they create a subversion of an already available version.
So let's say you were Hebrew Roots, now you're Hebrew Roots Church of The Holy Name now, so you're a subversion of that original version, and they'll create a subversion of that one.
That one starts growing too popular or whatever.
They'll just keep subverting these different groups, and calendars are no different.
I did a show a while back.
What was it called?
It was like the Ancient Calendar And the final beast.
And the reason I did it is because I was just showing in the, and I don't remember all the, all the stuff I talked about, but I do remember studying the calendar for years, um, trying to figure out which one was right.
You know, at one time, all calendars were only 360 days.
Did you know that Dan?
At one time, every, every single calendar in the world, including Babylonian, et cetera, was, um, 1230 day months.
And so 360 days.
And then something happened.
Something happened in the Cosmos, and it changed.
It went 364, 365, and now we do 364, and then we do a leap year every now and then.
This year's a leap year.
Today's actually, it was either today or yesterday was the leap day.
Yesterday was the leap day.
And so we have to do that.
And then the lunar calendar, they have to add a month every now and then in order to keep up.
So that tells me that everything's off just a little bit, and we won't know exactly when everything is.
That's why I think that when Jesus says, no one, not even the angels are going to know the time of return.
They'll know the season.
They'll know it's around the time.
They'll know what the season is, but they don't know exactly what day it is because, and I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that it's a lot, a lot of it's hidden.
I consider myself a normal person.
I'm not, you know, any stupider than the rest.
I'm not any smarter than the rest, maybe, but I couldn't... I sat and figured, tried to figure out that calendar thing, looked at every single different idea and interpretation of it, and I just became more confused at the end of it than I was at the beginning.
Well, me and you both.
I was like, what?
Yeah.
So if you jump on one of these cults, then you're gonna be sucked into what they believe, and you'll probably never even listen to it in another way.
So be careful.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Then you got the people, same thing in the dispensationalist movement.
Oh, God knows my heart, so if I do this on this day, it's okay.
But you need to understand he made the Sabbath for man, not man for the Sabbath.
Meaning, you don't get to pick the day.
You know, it's like when you go to work, when you go to school, right?
Your boss or your guidance counselor gives you the schedule, you have to follow that schedule, right?
So if you don't show up for work, you don't get paid or you get fired.
You don't show up to school, you fail, right?
So, same thing applies here.
God says the seventh day, he's sanctified.
He didn't say, oh, but, but, you get to pick the day what fits you the best.
Oh, I can't do Saturday because we've got soccer practice and all that stuff.
Maybe, maybe to Monday we could do this.
That's not how God works.
You go according to His schedule.
You don't go, He's not going to revolve around you.
You know what I mean?
That's the way it works.
And, you know, God knows my heart so if I decide to rest Tuesday and every day is, you know, the Sabbath.
No, not every day is the Sabbath.
The seventh day is the only day that's sanctified.
You know what I mean?
Every one of these excuses come out of the woodwork.
And the same thing applies for this Lunar Sabbath too.
And here's, um, you know what I mean?
I want to bring up the nuclear bomb verse here about the names.
So I'm going to transition back to the names real quick.
Unless you want to close off anything with the Sabbath before we go?
No, I think I'm good, man.
I appreciate, you know, the Sabbath thing is important to come together, man.
You know, if somebody does the Sabbath from Friday night to Saturday night, or if it's Friday or Saturday morning to Sunday morning, you know, I wouldn't divide with them over it.
Everybody, the seventh day is right, but Just go along and try to enjoy your Sabbath without arguing about that stuff.
Your life becomes so much easier when you quit worrying about what everybody else is doing, and you just worry about pleasing God on your own.
Don't worry about if this person's doing it right or that person's doing it right.
They're going to stand before God one day, and so are you.
And the bigger you judge, the more you're going to be judged, so be careful.
Exactly, so yeah, and you know, like John was saying too, I said that a million times today, like John was saying, but yeah, exactly what John was saying, like people who, you know, they do the Sabbath, like, well, sunrise, right?
when the sun sets through Friday here, it does become the next day, which the scripture says, and the Catholic Church changes to midnight, whatever.
That's the Sabbath going into the next day.
Or people wake up in the morning when the sun rises, they call that the Sabbath.
So whatever you do, at least we're on the same page on the right day.
You know what I mean?
So that's pretty cool.
So again, we're not going to judge anybody.
But when there's people out there, and we're not judging you by saying this, we're not judging the people out there who say, Oh, any day I get to decide...
We're not judging, we're just telling you what the Bible says.
God's the boss, he hands you the schedule, you have to follow his schedule.
I would like to see you go to your boss, oh, You know my heart, boss.
You know my heart.
So, I'm going to come in when I feel like it.
The boss is going to be like, yeah, see you later.
Go to your school, your principal.
You know my heart, principal.
You know my heart.
So, if I don't want to come in at 8 o'clock in the morning, I'll decide to roll in about 11, 12 when I wake up.
You know my heart, though.
Oh yeah, I know your heart, alright.
Yeah, you're failing.
And that's the same thing with the Father.
Oh yeah, I know your heart.
It's cruel, it's wicked.
That's what he's gonna tell you.
All hearts are cruel and wicked.
That's what those scriptures say.
So, yeah, that means nothing, you know.
And what does that even mean, to tell you the truth?
Well, God knows my heart.
Yeah, and you should absolutely be asking yourself, do you know God's heart?
Because if you did, you obey.
He has his feasts to set apart.
You know, what we call holidays, right?
His feasts to set apart.
His days are set apart, right?
Those are set apart like when the Passover comes, right?
Do we get to decide when we celebrate the Passover?
Like, you know, I can't do April, so I'll do it sometime in May.
That's not how it works.
You know, it's the same thing with the Sabbath.
So, back to the name thing again.
I don't know if you want to stick around for questions and answers.

They've all been, had the cold or whatever's going around.

And there's another name, oh, the rider that, we'll talk about Jesus, Yeshua Messiah, right?
The writer was called faithful and true.
Oh, what's that?
So if we call him faithful and true, we're gonna go to hell?
Even though it's right there in the scriptures?
But it's more with justice, right?
He was called faithful and true with justice.
He judges and wages war.
His eyes are like blazing fire and his head are many crowns on it, right?
Now, here's the kicker, yeah?
So to you, sacred namers, He has a name written upon him that no one knows by himself.
Check that out.
He has a name written upon him that no one knows by himself.
So this must really burn your rear ends.
It really must.
I mean, you know, a sacred name, oh, you pronounce it rightly, say it exactly the way it is, the way we say it, oh, you're gonna go to hell, right?
This must really burn your bridges.
That he has a name written upon him that no one knows but himself.
And he is dressed in a robe dipped in blood.
And his name is the word of God.
Oh, look at another name.
Oh, I guess we call him the word of God.
We're going to go to hell.
If we call him Faithful and True, are we going to go to hell?
And that name, oh, yeah, nobody knows it.
So that really must grind your gears.
So you sit there and say, hey, you need to call him Yahushua.
And you need to spell it exactly like this, the way we say it.
And that's it.
Or you're going to go to hell.
You're a false prophet.
And I'll call you right out for that, whoever preaches that stuff, you know what I mean?
And yeah, I call him Yeshua, I call him Yeshua, I call him Jesus, you know what I mean?
And he's gotta hear me.

Yeah, I mean, that's important.
You know, just like, God really loves you, I think.
Most people don't believe that He loves them, but if you're in Him, And you are trying to follow him.
He thinks of you as his child.
And I have children.
I've got four children.
I'm going to be five soon.
And I know this.
When I see my kids trying to do the best that they can do, I'm ecstatic, even if they're not doing it right.
I'm just so so blessed by that and happy.
And I look at them and I'm just like, man, you know, they're trying to obey daddy.
And when they were little, they couldn't call me You know, daddy, they call me da-da-da, you know, da-da.
They don't know my full name even, but they can call me da-da, and that's just, that's even actually more heartwarming to me than if they knew my full name to the exact extent.
And I think of God in the way, because we are creating His image, He is Like us, you know, he has things that he laughs at.
He has things that make him cry.
He has things that make him upset.
Things that make him happy.
And I can't help but think, okay, I'm not perfect.
I want to do the best I can.
There's no doubt.
If I knew everything, I would tell you guys, but I don't.
But I have no doubt in my mind that because I try, because you try, because you are truly wanting to please Him, that God's looking and smiling.
He's thankful because this world is so hard to wrap your mind around.
This world is such a deceptive place.
And the fact that you might be able to see through that and try to honor The king of all kings, when this world's trying to destroy you, I have no doubt that he is forgiving of our ignorance sometimes.
We do our best.
And as long as we're doing our best, and as long as we're truly seeking truth, as long as we're truly trying to be the hands and feet of God, and as long as we truly have faith, in his sacrifice for us, then I think that this is the most important things that we need to hold on to.
Not sacred names, not calendars, not, you know, are you Baptist?
Are you Pentecostal?
Are you Hebrew?
Are you this or that?
I mean, it's real simple.
God lies it out for us.
He lays it out for us.
By your fruits, you'll know them.
It's by the fruits.
And people can say all they want against that, but the Bible is very clear on that, in my opinion.
And I've never been ashamed of making my judgment about something or someone based off the fruits that I see portrayed.
I've never been ashamed of that.
In fact, every time it has never failed me.
So I urge you guys, I have to do this on the daily.
Some people may not be in the position I'm in to have to do this constantly.
I feel like there's constantly people trying to get one over me in some way.
But you should think the same way too, because most people are selfish.
And anything that they can do to get one over on you, they're probably going to do if you let them.
So the point is to love people.
Even though they are selfish and are living in a fleshly mindset, and to be the hands and feet of God, bear witness to his wonderful, loving kindness and his mercies that endure forever, and his redemption that he only can offer.
He's the only way to God.
He says, I'm the way, the truth, and the life.
No man comes to the Father but by me.
And stick with that, hold that dear, and you will not be put to shame.
The Bible says you will not be put to shame.
I can say that I've never been put to shame and that everything that he said to me, I've held on to as a promise and he's given all of that to me and more.
I've got way more than I ever deserved in every way, shape, or form possible that you can imagine.
He has overtly, abundantly blessed me because I've chosen to forsake the world and rely on him.
And guess what?
The world could have rewarded me too.
But I decided to go with his rewards, and his rewards can't match gold.
They can't match silver.
They're way, way higher.
Silver and gold can't match them, I meant to say.
But this is what the reality of serving God is.
It's not easy, but the reward's great.
Just like working out's not easy, but the reward's great.
There's a reward in things that are not easy.
And it's not easy to serve God when the world's against you, but it is much more Fulfilling and there's many more blessings to come along with that if you can just look past What your flesh is trying to tell you look past that fear and that doubt that you have look past it and move forward in authority That's my my message always is and always has been since I've been following him Now that concept you brought up, you were just talking about this and it just struck me here.
So you mentioned about your daughter calling you da-da, you know, whatever.
So let's use this concept here, right?
For you to say your name is, right?
So we're human beings.
We're in the carnal flesh, right?
So your daughter or son, you know, calls you da or da-da or papa or whatever, right?
And you know that's not your name, but you understand that's your daughter or son calling you.
You recognize it, right?
So you mean to tell me, right, that you can recognize it because we're human, we're limited, you know, and we're not God.
We can understand that.
So when we have a son or daughter, you know, or dad or whatever, or dada or whatever, you know, the nickname they got for you, right?
you hear him and you're like, yeah, you recognize he's calling for you or she's calling for you.
Right.
We can recognize it.
All right.
We can agree with this.
Right.
So you mean to tell me we could do this with our children, but the almighty God who created everything has unlimited knowledge.
He can't hear you because you call him Jesus.
Yeah.
That makes no sense at all.
I mean, yeah, I'm not going to, I'm getting fired up over that.
It makes no sense at all.
You guys really gotta think.
This is the God of the universe.
He knows what you're saying.
He knows who you're calling.
It's the faith in the name, as we pointed out earlier.
The faith, not the name itself, but the faith behind it.
When that woman reached out for his garment, It was the faith that she had.
The faith that we have.
Like, when I got attacked by demons, I called upon the name of Jesus.
Those things fleed.
When I had major sleep paralysis, getting demonically attacked, I called upon Jesus.
And that demon, for the first time in my life, fleed in seconds.
So you mean to tell me that name doesn't have power?
You know what I mean?
And that's why I don't buy that stuff.
When I got into that stuff, they were starting to tell me that.
All this stuff hit my head.
And I'm like, wait a minute.
I did this in the name of Jesus and this worked.
You know what I mean?
And that's when you start to understand.
That's the Holy Spirit reaching out to you saying, no guys.
Yeah, stay away from that stuff.
You know what I mean?
So, yeah.

And you got people out there who say, Oh, you gotta come to my church.
And most people go to church because of the fellowship.
I understand that, you know, the fellowship is important.
Especially if you're living alone, you want fellowship, you know?
And I understand that.
But I went to the churches because of that, you know?
And, you know, going on Sunday and all that.
But I'm sitting in the church on Sunday and Holy Spirit's just piling on me over there.
Dan, Dan, Dan, get the heck out of there.
Because not just the Sunday thing, and you got, it rolls right into the Christmas thing, the Easter thing, all these pagan holidays and pagan rituals that you gotta do, and participate in the church, and all of a sudden, you're completely driven opposite of what the Bible tells us to do.
God says, follow not the ways of the heathen Jeremiah, right?
Don't follow the ways of the heathen.
What are they doing?
Following the ways of the heathen.
Lord said the seventh day is a sanctified day.
Here we are on Sunday, the first day, and you know, it just goes on from there, you know.
So, then the churches in their religious dogma, they teach in things opposite.
They cherry-pick through the scriptures to teach you, you know, say, oh, here's what the Bible says.
Then they'll take one verse, make you jump over to another book, another chapter.
They'll string together a bunch of verses to make it sound like something worth to talk about.
But it's not you know, I mean nothing at all because they each verse in this context completely different from the message that they're trying to uh speech Uh, so yeah, it's crazy man.
So, all right guys, so a little quick prayer and we'll be out of here and head over to the question the answer show And uh, thank you for the donation by the way, and uh donations are important, but prayers are more important.
So love you guys, so Jesus, Yeshua, we come before you and we pray in your mighty name, whether it be Yeshua or Jesus, and we know that you hear us either way.
