If you are receiving this transmission, you are the resistance.
declaring war on the new world order.
TruthRadioShow.com And welcome to the Dan Badani Show on TruthRadioShow.com and welcome to the Book of Acts, Chapter 21 in this in-depth copy-op study of the Book of Acts.
So if you missed Chapters 1-20, I advise you to go watch them this way it makes sense.
When you watch chapter 21, yeah So welcome to the Book of Acts And before we get going, guys We do a specific Bible study approach Number one, very important steps here Very important Number one, to pray for wisdom and understanding So let's do that right now So Jesus, Yeshua Messiah, we come before you and ask you to forgive us all individually of our trespasses, our sins, our abominations, or any transgressions that we may have committed today.
And just purify our hearts, Lord, because man's heart's evil.
And we ask you to purify our hearts today.
And we ask you, Heavenly Father, to bring us to the divine Holy Spirit, the great comforter.
To deliver the Holy Spirit upon our hearts, Lord, and within us.
To discern and disseminate your information today in the book of Acts chapter 21. And we ask you for this divine knowledge to write it upon our hearts.
And we ask you to protect us all from the forces of evil.
We love you so much.
In your mighty name, amen.
So, that being said, guys, we read the scripture in context, because remember, context is key.
Can't emphasize that enough.
And let the scripture interpret the scripture.
Don't lean on your understanding, but let the Holy Spirit work through you, and let the scripture interpret itself.
So when you think you don't understand, just keep reading.
And 99% of the time you're going to get the answer, or if not, the Holy Spirit will deliver it to you.
So all you're going to do is pray and keep reading in the tongue.
So anyway, Acts chapter 1 and the continuation of the journey being made by the apostles here.
So again, if you have not read chapter 20 and the chapters before, just go back and read that.
They're in our playlist.
And thank you ShakeAwakeRadio.com for carrying this on your awesome, amazing audio edition.
So if you've got a Bible, guys, open it up.
And it is on screen.
I use the King James Bible.
But regardless, I always encourage people to open the Bible for themselves.
because we like to read it for ourselves.
So, and it came to pass after we were gotten from them and had lunch, we came with a straight course until Coos.
And the day followed until Rhodes and from thence until Pacharo.
So, forgive me guys because I'm going to mispronounce some of these cities.
It's just like the way it is, that's all.
Anyway, so we see the apostles making a day's journey to several places.
So in finding the ship, sailing over to Phoenicia, we went aboard and set forth.
And now we had discovered Cyprus, and we left it on the left hand, and sailed into Syria, and landed in Tyre, for there the ship was, I'm sorry, unlaid her burden.
So you see that, you know, bouncing from place to place, bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ from land to land.
And finally, the disciples retarried their seven days.
And who said to Paul, through the Spirit, that he should not go up into Jerusalem.
So through the Spirit means referring to the Holy Spirit.
That not to go up into Jerusalem.
Because remember, yeah, at this point right now, okay, the Jewish elders, okay, the chief priests and all that, they want Paul dead.
They got a target, a big target out for Paul.
So the Spirit's telling Paul, it's not your time yet.
Don't go into Jerusalem.
Now, if you remember, right, when the last chapter we read, Paul was saying his goodbyes to the apostles because he knew his time was coming.
The Jewish leaders had a massive target out for Paul.
They did the same thing to Jesus.
They did the same thing to Stephen.
And now Paul's one of the most powerful apostles there is, and Israel, they want Paul dead, plain and simple.
So if you read the last chapters, we learn that Paul was saying his goodbyes to the apostles.
And when we had accompanied those days, we departed and went our way, and they all brought us our way with wives and children till we were out of the city and we kneeled down on the shore and prayed.
So basically blessing the people there that came out to greet them and everything else and, you know, to try to bring witness for the gospel.
And when we had taken our leave one another, we took ship and they returned home again.
And when we had finished our course from Tyree, we came to Platonimus and saluted the brethren and abode with them one day.
Saluted, in other words, like they spent a little time with the brothers there.
These are the people that they've already witnessed to and everything else.
So a lot of these trips are going to check on the people that they ordained, disciples, whatever the case, and spread the gospel of Jesus.
So the apostles went and spent the day with them.
And on the next day, We that were of Paul's company, so the people who were of Paul, right, they departed.
And came into Caesarea, and we entered into the house of Philip, the evangelist, which was one of the seven, and abode with heaven.
So Philip was an evangelist, of course, and he was one of the seven evangelists.
So this is just interesting stuff really is.
The thing is, you've got to take your time to understand this.
Let it absorb.
And I want to point this out too, guys.
There is no race to read the Bible.
I understand, okay?
And this is where people go wrong.
When we have a textbook in school, right?
We want to get through the thing as quick as possible, you know what I mean?
You get a novel you bought from the store or something.
You read it.
You just read it and you don't really care about really spending too much time on, you know, one chapter.
I just want to read it and get the gist of the story, right?
But you need to understand that the gospel is different.
This is not a textbook in the schools, okay?
This is a spiritual textbook which needs to be really absorbed to really understand where were they going?
Why were they going there?
Who was there?
What was the purpose?
You know what I mean?
This way you get a full layout.
And what I like to do too, when I read the scripture there, I like to put myself there, as if I'm there too.
To get a complete full visualization of what is going on.
And when you do that, right, and with the Holy Spirit with you, you have a complete understanding.
And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy, right?
And As we tarried there many days, there came down from Judea a certain prophet named Agbes.
So again, I apologize about the names.
It's hard to pronounce sometimes.
But you know, this is cool how it's specified, right?
People say, well, why would they specify virgins?
Well, here's the thing, too.
Back then, I mean, nowadays, right?
It's sad to say, it really is.
A 16-year-old girl, right?
Nine out of ten times, she's not a virgin.
In today's world, right?
Back then, most of these people waited until they got married before they were even touched.
And that's the way it should be, you know what I mean?
And we all, a lot of us are guilty of that, you know what I mean?
And about, you know, because it says he's whirling and everything else, but it just shows you how time to change.
But it was specified as virgins, because in other words, it's specifying that these girls were pure.
And it's specified that they prophesize.
So the same men who had four daughters, they were virgins, in other words, they were pure.
Which did prophecy.
And as we tarried, there are many days that came down from Judea a certain prophet named Agabus.
And when he was to come unto us, he took Paul's girdle and bound his own hands and feet and said, Thus said the Holy Ghost.
Referring to that, the Holy Ghost was communicating with this prophet Agabus, right?
He's saying, so shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owns this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.
So, what is he saying?
Now, mind you, Agabus, right, is holding Paul's girdle.
And the girdle today is the thing that holds your stomach.
And so, let's see what the old meaning of girdle is, because words change over the years.
You know what I mean?
So, girdle...
The girdle meeting, so let's get...
A belt or cord worn around the waist.
Alright, so today's world, right?
When you hear the word girdle, people laugh a little bit, because, like, it's for people like myself, like, who have little guts there that you want to hide your gut, you know what I mean?
That holds you, you know, it's wasted.
But, um, not in this case here.
It's just a belt or cord worn around the waist, right?
So...
It doesn't have to be something that holds your stomach in.
In today's world it is.
That's what they call a girdle today, right?
But it's anything around your waist, right?
So back then, this is what it was.
So the prophet Agabus, right?
He's holding, now mind you, right?
He's speaking with the Holy Ghost.
The Holy Ghost is speaking to him, right?
And he said, the man that owns this girdle, Shall be delivered into the hands of the Gentiles and the Jews, right?
In other words, he's going to be put up to death.
Who's he talking about?
Well, we don't have to interpret that because it says right here, he took Paul's girdle, right, and bound his own hands and feet and said that this, which is like a rope or something, right, that was on his waist, so he tied himself up and said, hey, Whoever, the person that owns this, right?
The Holy Ghost is telling me that the Jews at Jerusalem will bind the man that owns this girdle.
Talk about Paul, right?
And if you remember, right?
Back here, Paul was told by the Holy Ghost, right?
Through the Spirit, right?
That he should not go up into Jerusalem yet.
Because the Holy Spirit's not quite done with Paul yet.
And if you remember the last chapter, they got a massive target out for Paul.
That's why the apostles, most of them had said their goodbyes in the last chapter.
Paul said, hey, this is the last time I'm going to see you guys until the resurrection.
So, and when we heard these things, both we, and they at the place, besought him not to go up into Jerusalem.
So, the apostles that were with him, right, and they were like, hey, Paul, please don't go to Jerusalem.
Because they're going to kill you.
Even though Paul said this in the last chapter, right?
There's a prophet here, led by the Holy Spirit, Agabus, right?
Led by the Holy Spirit, this prophet, saying this prophecy that Paul is going to be brought up into the hands of the Gentiles, into the Jews, and they're going to bind him up in his own girdle, and she'll deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.
So they're going to tie Paul up and To live to the Gentiles, right?
And then Pauline said, what do you mean you to weep and break my heart?
For I am not ready to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.
So, this is Paul taking it like a champ right here.
So, I love Paul.
Here's the thing to it, Paul.
If you notice, all the false religions, I brought this up in the prior chapters, right?
All these false religions, the vaccine doctrines, the Kabbalistic doctrines, the Gnostics doctrines, which is all one and the same, right?
They hated Paul.
They bashed the poop out of Paul, right?
And all the books written by Paul here, they despise, right?
A lot of spiritual religions hate Paul, especially the Kabbalistic Jews.
Why do they do that for?
And they try to say Paul's books are not valid, they should be in the Bible and all that stuff.
Why do they hate Paul?
Because Paul was the most effective apostle there was.
Out of all of them, Paul was the most effective one.
So, what does that tell you?
When you have a target big, right, that means what?
You're doing your job?
When your target is massive, right, the world hates you.
Referring to the, you know, the secular world.
The more they hate you, the better you're doing your job.
The bigger your target gets, the more glory God gets.
Paul knows this.
They're telling Paul, don't go to Jerusalem.
The prophets say, hey, they're going to deliver you up, Paul, if you go to Jerusalem, right?
What does Paul say?
So what are you trying to weep and break my high hair or something?
You know what I mean?
He goes, I'm ready.
Not only to be bound, bound me, go ahead.
But also to die in Jerusalem for the name of Jesus Christ.
Paul's ready.
He goes, yeah, bring it on.
I'm not afraid to die.
For my Lord and Savior.
He gave me a second life here, and I'm not afraid to die for him.
This is a champion right here, guys.
This is why all these false religions and occults hate Paul with a passion.
Because Paul, right, told it how it is.
This is what I'm inspired by, too.
That's why I tell it like it is as well.
Paul is one heck of a warrior.
This guy's ready to die like a champion.
You know what?
Bring it on.
Not only are they going to buy me, who cares?
Which is apprehend me, right?
And tie me up.
But, you know, let them kill me.
Because I'm ready to die for our Lord and Savior.
And every one of us that's listening to this and watching this, reading this, every one of us should be like Paul right now.
If the world brings us up to be brought up to death or something for Jesus Christ, you bet your darn butt I'm going to be up there taking it like a champion for Paul.
Especially with these end times coming.
When it's going to be time to take the mark of the beast, you're going to be killed.
And yes, you'll be there.
You're not going to be pre-tribulation raptured.
That's dispensational.
It's garbage.
Some people are going to be brought up and say, hey, you take the mark of the beast, you'll be killed.
I'm ready to be killed.
I'm going to look that person right in the eye and say, you better get right with Jesus.
And I'm going to take it like a champion.
Because, you know, my Savior died for me and no one else wanted to be killed.
Of course not.
Now I'm not trying to be Mr. Tough Guy or something like that, but just like Paul here, I'm ready to take it like a champion.
My Lord and Savior died for me so I have eternal life, so you think I can care at all what man can do to me?
Paul the same way here.
So we should be using Paul as inspiration.
And shame on those religions, shame on those occults that sit there and trash Paul and all his books he wrote.
It's a darn shame, it really is.
Paul's right here, come on, bring it.
That's the spirit Paul had.
That's why he was the most effective apostle there was.
And that's why Jesus chose him.
Of all people, man was going around killing Christians.
Jesus seemed to fire a spirit in this guy, right?
That could be converted.
He converted Paul, made him go blind.
And it appeared to him while he was blind, and they gave him his sight back.
And Paul became a complete believer, and he was on fire, okay, to his death.
Even to this day, Paul's books, that's why these religions hate him.
Even to this day, Paul's books, his writings, his words are massively effective.
So God bless Paul, and I know the Lord blessed him.
And I hope to meet him one day during the resurrection.
And when we would not be persuaded, we cease saying, the will of the Lord be done.
So they're trying to persuade Paul, don't do it, right?
And Paul's like, yeah, I'm taking it like a champ.
I'm going to go die for my Lord and Savior.
Bring it on, man.
And they try to persuade him, and they just stop doing it.
And you know what?
Let the will of the Lord be done.
And after those days, we took up our carriages and went up into Jerusalem.
And they're like, you know what?
Don't go to Jerusalem, Paul.
They're going to kill you.
You've got a target on your head.
Yeah.
Paul's like, bring it.
And Dan went unto us certain of the disciples of Caesarea and brought with them the mansion in Cyprus, an old disciple, With whom he would lodge.
We should lodge.
So, a person that they're going to stay with.
And when we were to come to Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly.
So, when they went to Jerusalem, right, all the people they witnessed to and everything else that brought them to Christ, the gospel and all that, when they came into Jerusalem, they were, like, greeted.
Gladly.
You know what I mean?
Which is, like, amazing, right?
Right?
In the day following, Paul went in with us and to James, and the elders were present, right?
So they went to see James, and the elders were present.
And when we had saluted them, he declared particularly what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry.
It's like acknowledging them and everything else, and declaring particularly the things what God brought among the Gentiles by his ministry, right?
So just bringing the word of God to them, right?
And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord and said unto him, Though see his brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe?
How many thousands of Jews which believe?
Lots.
And they are all zealous of the law.
There's a lot of Jews that believe, right?
You see, I forgot what zealous means.
That's the point of the Bible studies, guys.
Like, when you just...
If you don't know what a word means, don't be ashamed.
Don't hold your pride to it, because I forget what words mean sometimes.
Nothing wrong with looking it up.
Showing great energy or enthusiasm in pursuit of the cause of an object.
So, look, alright, so now we know what zealous means, right?
The thousands of Jews which believed, right, in Jesus Christ, and they are all zealous of the law.
Right?
Enthusiastic about it, right?
So, again, I have to bring this up over and over, and I'm going to keep doing it.
I'm going to keep bringing it up every single time I see fit to do so.
And I'm going to sound repetitive, which I'm going to do now, but regardless, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Because you've got today's dispensationalist churches.
Oh, the law has been abolished.
The Ten Commandments have been abolished.
You know, grace is a free pass to break the law.
No, it's not.
You've got Jews here who now believe in Jesus Christ, right?
And they are zealous of the law.
Zealous, right?
Enthusiastic about the law.
So is the apostles, right?
They follow the laws.
We proved that already.
Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
Go watch the series.
And yes, you're saved by grace.
I'm not going to at all argue that.
That's exactly what it is.
But grace is not a free pass to transgress the law.
And what does Jesus himself say?
What is sin?
Sin is transgression of the law.
He says to repent from sin, right?
So if the laws are abolished, right?
What does he talk about then?
If the laws are abolished, why is Jesus saying to avoid sin?
And sin is defined as transgression of the law.
See?
See where this whole dispensational thing just breaks down?
I love it.
When you read the scripture, it just like rubs it right out.
These false religions and their beliefs.
And the systems of dispensationalism.
It's all garbage.
It's all satanic garbage.
That's why I love the scripture.
See, when you take your time to read it, all this stuff just comes out, the meat and potatoes.
And they are informed of thee, they are informed of you, and that the teachers of all the Jews which are among the Gentiles forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise the children, neither to walk after their customs.
Because here's a contention with the laws of Moses, because the thing is, the Jews, right, and They stick to the Mars of Moses, right?
But also, in the contrary, this is like just ridiculous, really is.
Even today in some churches or whatever, we're gods, right?
They stick to the Mars of Moses.
The laws of Moses, not the...
I botched that up.
The laws of Moses, right?
But however, if they actually listen to Moses, Moses prophesied of the coming of Jesus.
To the details.
But yet, they go, we're going to follow Moses, but you're not really following Moses because you're denying Jesus as the Messiah.
When Moses told you exactly who, what, where, when, how, and why, Jesus is coming.
And what is there for the multitude needs to come together?
For they will hear that they out come, multitudes of thousands of people.
They need to come together, for we'll hear that thou art come, right?
And do therefore that this, that we say to thee, we have four men which have vowed unto them.
So them take and purify thyself with them, and be charges with them, and that they may have shaved their heads, and I don't know why they would shave their heads, it's kind of weird, but yeah.
And all may know that these things, "Therefore, they were informed concerning thee are nothing, but thou thyself walkest orderly, to keepeth the law.
So, they talk about keeping the law, right?
So I'm just trying to get a grasp of who these four men are there.
So, inform teachers of Jews which are among the Gentiles from St. Moses.
So they teach that all the Jews are among the Gentiles.
So, and so we'll read the description here in context.
So, I'm just going to try to get it clear on the standard right here.
So, this is why we need to read the whole thing to understand it.
So, as touching the Gentiles which believe...
We have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things or for titles, and from blood, and from strangling, and from fornication, right?
So, alright, so what I'm getting wrong, alright.
Because I've got a thousand things running through my head, which I want to say because of the scripture here.
So I'm trying to formulate to be able to say it upon you, to tell you what the stuff is, what's going on and everything else.
So, yeah.
So I'm trying to understand why they would shave their heads.
Yeah, it was probably a custom back then.
Let me see.
All right.
Did the Jews shave?
I guess it was the Israelites shaved their heads.
So the book of Amos talked about this, I guess, which is dated, you know, 7th century, blah, blah, blah, as well as books of Isaiah, Micah, textual.
So...
Alright, so it was an act of mourning.
Alright, so I was trying to...
I was confused for a second, yeah.
So, to portray God as instructed the Israelites to shave their heads as an act of mourning.
God called you to weep and mourn, right?
So, for what I'm looking, and what it does is shaving the head symbol.
So, it's also trauma, brutality, and loss of individuality of strength.
So, remember, when they shaved Samson's head, he lost his power.
So, there's many meanings, but generally, it's an act of mourning.
So, I guess, days before people shaved their heads, that we were poor, is an act of mourning.
So, that's what confused me for a second.
So, trying to get a clear, precise, and if I'm confusing you guys at all, please pause the video.
Tell me exactly the time of the video.
And say, hey, Dan, I need more clarification on that.
Or, you know, verse 24 or whatever.
Give me more clarification and I'll get back to you.
Put it in the comments section.
So, I hope I didn't confuse anybody here.
But, alright, so now I got an understanding.
So, I was like stumbling.
Why would they shave their heads?
It's weird.
Alright?
So, it's like an act of mourning.
Because they know Paul is coming, right?
Right?
And again, keepeth the law, right?
And here's another thing I want to address here.
They keep themselves from what?
Things offered to idols.
What is that?
What do things offer to idols?
Unclean animals.
Swine, pigs, whatever the case.
It's a shame that, you know, you go to a lot of these Christian churches today and they have pig roosts.
Oh, no, no, all food's clean now because God told Peter that those animals he presented was clean.
Now, we went over this, right?
The particular animals that God chose to give to Peter, right?
Peter said, hey, I can't eat this blood because they're unclean.
And God says, I made them clean.
Didn't refer to every animal in the world being clean.
No, those particular animals that God had sent, right?
Right?
That God himself made clean, right?
He didn't say all the pigs in the world are clean now.
So, orphaned to idols.
Every time you read that, most of the time it's a swine.
Unclean animals are orphaned up to idols.
Here we are, well past Jesus, Jesus is gone now, right?
The gospel is gaining steam all over the place, right?
And here we are.
Still teaching people not to eat animals off and up tiles.
And keep them from blood, right?
I know people like their food bloody, but the Bible says not to do that.
Don't eat it from strangled and from fornication, right?
These are things in the law, right?
The so-called law that's supposed to be abolished.
From modern day dispensationalist Christians.
But here we are.
Long after Jesus.
Why are they still teaching us then?
I thought they were abolished.
Oh, nope.
Because then we're not.
We're not supposed to be eating that garbage.
Avoid blood.
You know, from consuming blood.
There's spirit and...
We're going to get into this.
Yeah, I don't care.
So, there is massive spiritual ramifications from eating blood.
And drink blood, I'm sorry.
I don't care what you have to say.
Oh, we can purify it now.
I don't care.
The Bible specifically warns us to stay away from ingesting any kind of blood.
Human or animal.
That's why they do this in the occult, guys.
There's a reason.
There's spiritual and physical ramifications from ingesting blood.
Massively, right?
And also animals that have been strangled.
Obviously when we get, let's just say, a chicken, right?
If we grab a chicken, you're supposed to right away cut the head off.
You don't strangle it, right?
For some reason, there's many means to this, right?
And purposes, I'm sorry.
When you strangle something, right?
You cut off the oxygen and blood.
That's what happens, right?
So when you cut the oxygen and blood off, it contaminates the blood, which contaminates the animal, right?
And plus it's spiritually as well.
Because you're strangling the life of the animal.
And people say, what's the difference with cutting your head off or strangling it?
There's a big difference.
So if you ever see somebody that's been strangled, okay, and that's a nasty, gruesome sight, their face is all purple and everything because you cut off the blood and the oxygen is in the spine, which immediately contaminates the blood and the rest of the body, right?
Reverse is getting the animal's head chopped off, right?
It doesn't do that.
The ball just comes out.
And it doesn't contaminate the meat.
There's spiritual and physical ramifications for this stuff, guys.
Again, if you need more clarification on this, let me know.
But this is what you call spiritual welfare.
It's right there.
Right there.
But today, people still avoid it.
Oh, who cares?
We can cook food now better.
You know, because back then, even to this day, pork products are still one of the most foodborne illnesses there is.
And it kills a lot of people.
Because there's nothing good or nutritional in pork.
So there are spiritual ramifications and physical ramifications from doing this.
This right here, I was like, I could spend another 10 minutes on this.
And fornication, you guys know what fornication is, right?
Yeah.
Just reluctantly going out and have sex with anybody you want.
Going out and have sex with people just for fun, whatever.
That's fornication.
And technically, anything outside of marriage is fornication.
If you're not married to that person, it's fornication.
Right?
And keep it still law.
Yeah, but I thought the laws were abolished.
Yeah, they're not.
So anybody out there tells you that the laws have been abolished, and when we get to the book of Galatians, I can't wait for that, because when Paul said, right?
Paul said that the ordinances were blotted out and nailed to the cross, right?
People say, well, that's it right there.
The laws are abolished.
Paul didn't say that.
He said the ordinances.
There's a difference between ordinances, laws, commandments, and statutes.
And you'll read about them in the book of 2 Kings.
Four different things, right?
And ordinances are not the commandments.
Nor the laws.
So we're going to get to that when we get to the Galatians.
I don't want to confuse people.
So if you still go, it's okay to eat pork now.
God never said no such thing.
No such thing that God's ever told you it's okay to eat pork now.
And again, when it goes to Peter, that particular verse, when he had those specific animals, and some were normally unclean, and God says, no, these here, Peter, are okay.
I sanctified them.
He didn't say all the pigs in the world are now okay to eat.
And it's God, he can do whatever he wants.
So, yeah, if you want more clarification, I've done many spiritual warfare shows.
A lot of them were me and John Hall from Nice TV. We've done a lot of these things on the commandments.
Tons of shows on the spiritual warfare Friday.
So, and then Paul took the men, and the next day purified himself with them, entering into the temple.
Purified himself, which is by fasting and prayer.
Or in this case, yeah, I don't think they had time to fast because of the time going on, right?
So purifying themselves, which would be confession of sin to prayer and all that, right?
That's how we purify ourselves.
We purified ourselves right before we started reading this.
When we engaged in prayer, right?
We confessed our sins to Christ, right?
We purified ourselves spiritually.
So Paul and them purified themselves before entering into the temple.
To signifying the accomplishment of the days of purification.
Until that, an orphan should be offered on every one of them.
And back then, they had different orphans you had to do in the days of purification.
So, and when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews, which were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, when they saw Paul, right, stirred up all the people and laid hands on him.
So, after the days of purification, which was, let me see exactly what that is.
I'm still learning these Jewish holidays.
So, days of purification.
Okay.
Because it should be considered unclean.
Alright.
That a mother should be considered giving birth at the...
Alright, that's something different.
for the seven days of purification.
Purify himself with the water on the third day and seventh day.
So whoever touches the dead body, they'll be unclean for seven days.
Just trying to get a better clarification on that.
So anyway, regardless, okay?
So when Paul, and if you want more clarification, guys, I'll definitely look more into that.
Anyway, when the seven days were almost ended, right?
The seven days of purification, the Jews, which were of Asia, right?
They saw Paul in the temple and stirred up all the people, riled them all up, right?
And they laid hands on him.
So they grabbed Paul, literally, physically.
Crying out, men of Israel, help!
This is the man that teaches all the men everywhere against the people, and the law, and this place, and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and had polluted this holy place.
So here is the Jews, right?
These head Jews.
They literally stirred up all the people, say, yelling, screaming.
That's Paul right there.
This man has, like, caused all this ruckus.
He violated the law, which he did.
They lied.
This is all a lie against Paul.
Right?
This is the man that teach all men everywhere against the people.
He did no such thing.
He was teaching about Jesus.
And the law.
And this place.
No, Paul actually taught the law.
And if they obeyed the law, they would only know that Jesus is the Messiah.
And this place.
And further, brought Greeks into the temple...
Because they were all, you know, upset because Paul brought Greeks into the temple, right?
But the Greeks that he did, right, became believers.
And they're saying he polluted this holy place.
Paul did no such thing.
This was false accusations being made by the Jews to while everybody up.
Therefore they had seen before with him in the city of Tremontas in Ephesians, whom they supposed that Paul had brought into the temple.
And all the city was moved.
So there was big chaos in the city at this point.
And the people ran together and they took Paul and drew him out of the temple and forth, forthwith the doors were shut.
So they all grabbed Paul and pushed him out of the temple and shut the doors.
And as they went about to kill him, Titans came up to the chief captain of the band that all of Jerusalem was an upload.
So they're about to kill Paul, right?
And the chief captain...
Of Jerusalem, right?
I mean, the chief captain, I'm sorry.
He's like, what the heck's going on?
There's all this ruckus going around.
And that Jerusalem is up in an uproar, right?
So, who immediately took soldiers and centurions and ran down onto them.
And when they saw the chief captain and the soldiers, they left beating up Paul.
So, let me narrate.
What's going on?
So, after all this ruckus and lies against Paul, right, the whole temple would erupt.
They started grabbing, beating Paul, pushing him out, right, they shut the doors, now they're on the outside of the temple, right?
They're, like, literally laying into Paul, ready to kill him.
And at the same time, like, before, when the whole ruckus started, the chief captain was like, what the heck's going on out there?
Why is, uh, why, where's Jerusalem all an uproar?
So they found out it was Paul.
So right away he took the soldiers and centurions and ran down and immediately when they got there where Paul was, everybody stopped beating Paul.
Then the chief captain came near and took him.
So the chief captain came over there and took Paul and commanded him to be bound with two chains.
And demanding who he was and what he had done.
So the chief captain came down and said, stop, leave him alone.
He right away had Paul chained up and demanded who he was.
He said, who is this guy?
What has he done?
Why is my whole city in an uproar over this one man?
And some cry that in one thing, some another.
So people say, oh, he did this, oh, he did that.
He raided the laws, he did that.
He polluted the temple, right?
And among the multitude.
So thousands of people screaming like, oh, he did this, he did that, right?
And when he could not know the certain Leo for the Talmud, Two months, I'm sorry.
He commanded him to be carried into the castle.
So right at the chief captain appointing, he has no clue.
What the heck is going on?
Why does my whole city want to kill Paul?
So until the chief captain could figure things out, he's like, you know what?
We'll bound him up and let's take him to the castle, right?
And when he came in upon the stairs, so it was, that he was born of the soldiers of the violence of people.
So they brought, you know, they carried him away and got him out of the hands of the people that were ready to kill Paul, right?
And for the multitude of the people that followed after, crying away with him.
So, as these troops are carrying Paul away, right?
You've got a bunch of people, thousands of people following him, yelling and screaming away with him, in other words, kill him.
They're crying out to kill Paul.
And as Paul was able to lead into the castle, he led into the castle, I'm sorry, he said unto the chief captain, may I speak unto thee?
Who said you can't speak Greek?
Who said you can't speak Greek?
So Paul said, chief captain, can I speak to you for a minute?
And who said, you can't speak Greek.
And although that Egyptian, which therefore these days made us an uproar, and let us out into our wilderness for 4,000 men that were murderers.
So that's the chief captain that's in Paulus.
But Paul said, I am a man, which I am a Jew of Tarsus.
A city of Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city.
And I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people.
Let me see what...
Beseech.
To call upon, to appeal or begs.
So this is what's going on.
So Paul is appealing, you know, Say, hey, I am a man which I am Jew of Tarsus, a citizen of no mean city.
But I beseech you, which is I appeal upon you, right, and beg you to suffer me to speak unto the people.
So he wants to speak unto the people.
And when he had given him a license, Paul stood up on the stairs.
So, what does this mean?
Do you get a license or what?
So, the chief...
Let me get this narrative for you.
The chief captain, right?
So, he asked the chief captain, can I speak unto the people before we go any further?
So, the chief captain gave him a license, in other words, authority.
All right, go ahead.
We'll stop where we are.
All right, Paul, you have my permission to speak to the people.
So Paul stood on the stairs and beckoned with the hand unto the people.
And when there was a maid of great silence, he spoke unto them in a Hebrew tongue, saying...
So this goes on to the next chapter.
So I'm going to put these both chapters out right away.
Chapter 21 and 20. So do me a favor, guys.
When you go to watch chapter 22, go back and read this.
Because remember, at this point, Paul's been given permission to speak.
Before they go into the castle, alright?
He's been captive, bounded up, whatever the case, and brought to the castle, right?
Right before they went into the castle, Paul got up on the stairs.
He was given authority, right?
Which is a license.
The chief captain gave him permission, okay?
Authority.
Paul stood up on the stairs and beckoned with one hand unto the people.
So beckon, and I think that's beckon, which is make a gesture with the hand, arm or head, to encourage someone to come near and follow.
Alright, so Paul, see how much more meaning when you understand the words?
How much more you can get out so you can understand exactly what's going on instead of guessing?
So it says here, Paul stood on the stairs and with his hand, right, waved to the people.
Come closer, come closer.
I need to speak to you.
And when there was made a great silence, everybody came close to him.
What's going on?
Why are we stopping here?
The chief priest gave him authority, right?
Go ahead.
Go stand up on the stairs and speak.
So Paul's signaling to get everybody closer, right?
And there was a great silence.
And Paul spoke unto them in Hebrew tongue, saying, which we're going to find out at the next chapter.
Which I'm going to get to work right away on that.
So, yeah.
