And...
If you're watching on the air, we got the Bible on screen.
So before we get going, we have a Bible study approach we do every show.
What we do, number one, is we pray for wisdom and understanding.
So let's do that right now.
So Jesus, Yeshua Messiah, we come before you and ask you again to forgive us of our sins and trespasses, transgressions and abominations, anything we may have done and wrong in your name, Lord.
And we ask you to just...
Plead your blood upon us.
Cleanse us, Lord, and our souls.
And purify our garments.
Make them white before the Father.
Father, we come before your throne.
Ask you, in the mighty name of Jesus, that you could give us the divine Holy Spirit to write your word today, the book of Acts, chapter 4, upon our hearts.
And we love you so much.
We ask you to heal anybody and comfort them all.
Anybody that's going through any kind of pain, suffering, or any of the such.
And we ask you to pray.
I'm sorry.
We ask you to protect us all from the forces of evil.
And bless this broadcast here.
Bless everybody listening.
And we have eyes to see.
We want to see.
We have ears to hear.
We want to hear.
And we ask in your name, Heavenly Father.
Amen.
So what we do, guys, also is we description context.
Context is key.
We can't say this enough.
Very important to understand that.
So we let description interpret description.
We don't lean on our own understandings.
We actually...
Help, I'm sorry, we actually rely on the Holy Spirit to write the word on our hearts, plain and simple.
So, let's begin here, chapter 4. Mind you, this is a continuation from chapter 3, and a real brief description of chapter 3 here before we get going.
That's not going back.
There we go.
So, chapter 3 was about a man who was handicapped that Peter and John healed, right?
And And in sight of the temple, everybody's seen it.
Everybody that went to this temple knew this man was handicapped all his life.
So they healed him.
And they brought amazement and joy to the entire temple.
And so now, when they got everybody's attention from this, right?
Peter's like, no, it wasn't me that did this.
It was Jesus.
His power, right?
The very man that you guys condemned and put to death, right?
Now he's hammering these people.
He let them have it.
Seriously.
So that very guy that you guys chose to murder to be released over Jesus?
Yeah.
Jesus is the one who did this, right?
And now he's asking them to repent.
So let's continue on to chapter 4. So it says, verse 1, And as they spake unto the people, The priests and the captain of the temple and the Sadducees came upon him.
So now the priests, you know, they're the ones who wanted Jesus.
They're the ones who killed Jesus.
The Sadducees and all the captains and all that, right?
So they came on to Peter and John.
Being grieved that they had taught the people and preached to Jesus the resurrection from the dead.
So they ticked off that day.
Did this, right?
And they laid hands on them and put them in hold until the next day, for it was now an eventide.
I forgot what an eventide is, so let's actually look what that is.
Because I want to get all the...
Alright, so the end of the day.
So that means end of the day.
Right?
So this is what happened, right?
So after all this, you know, they healed the man, Peter and John, right?
Through Jesus.
Then they started preaching to all the people to have them repent, right?
Then the Sadducees and the priests and all them, they couldn't stand that because they're the ones who killed Jesus, right?
Yeah.
So they laid hands on him.
In other words, they apprehended him.
And put them in hold until the next day.
And now it's the evening, right?
The next day now it's the evening, he's saying, right?
So they kept him captive until then, for a day.
So how about many of them which heard the word believed?
And the numbers of the men which are about 5,000.
So, because of this whole ordeal, right?
Before the seduces and captains got there, right?
Peter and John traverted about 5,000 people.
From healing the sky in the name of Jesus, right?
And preaching unto them, right?
To repent and all that.
And they repented.
And it says here, how many of them which actually heard the word and believed, right?
And the number of them was about 5,000.
5,000 people converted.
That's amazing.
Hallelujah.
So it came to pass on the morrow, which is the next day, that the rulers and the elders and the scribes and Annas, the high priests, and Caprius, and John and Alexander, as many as they were a kindred of high priests, were gathered together in Jerusalem.
So this big meeting came about, right?
Because now Peter and, you know, they thought they got rid of the problem, right?
To them was Jesus' problem by executing them, right?
So now you've got Peter and John coming here and doing the same thing Jesus did.
But in Jesus' name, of course, not their power.
Now that they have this big meeting, we just got rid of the problem.
How is this still happening?
These guys just converted 5,000 of our people.
Right?
And when they sat them in the midst, they asked, by what power or what name do you have done this?
So mind you, they kept Peter and John captive for a day.
So they all got together, the rulers and all the bigwigs all got together the next day, right?
This big meeting and they had before them John and Peter.
So now comes the interrogation part, right?
They want to know what power or what name have you...
How'd you do this?
How'd you heal that man?
Right?
Then Peter filled with the Holy Ghost because remember...
Here's the thing too, right?
Remember?
Actually, I don't know if you got that far yet, but yeah...
In Revelation, right, Jesus tells us when we come up to our trials one day, right, for not taking the mark of the beast and all that, right, we're going to have a trial, right?
And it says, don't think ahead of time what you're going to say.
Don't, you know, like, you know, try to memorize, try to say, all right, I'm going to say this to the judge and all that.
I'm going to plead, and he says, don't do that.
Don't premeditate, as you say.
Don't premeditate what you're going to say.
Let the Holy Spirit speak to you.
Right?
This is what Peter did, right?
This is a perfect example of that, right?
So they're in trial now, literally.
And you've got all the leaders and everything else, and asking them, interrogating them.
Man, what power or what name have you done to this?
How'd you do this?
Peter filled with the Holy Spirit and said to them, right?
You rulers of the people and elders of Israel.
Now this is the Holy Spirit speaking to Peter.
Because again, Jesus says when you're on trial like this stuff, right?
Don't premeditate what you're going to say.
Let the Holy Spirit speak to you.
And that's what's going on with Peter right now.
And he comes right out and says, You rulers of the people and the elders of Israel, in this day we examine of the good deed done to an important man by which means he made whole.
So it's like, yeah...
We help this handicapped guy be able to walk through the name of Jesus, of course, right?
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him does this man stand before you whole.
So I'm saying, like, he's charged up the Holy Spirit right now, Peter, right?
So he's probably lashing out these people.
The man you crucified, God raised him from the dead.
Even then, now he'd still be able to, you know what I mean, like, through Jesus, this man is standing whole before you.
The handicapped man is now whole because of him, right?
This is the stone which has set nought in your billows, Which has become the head of the cornerstone.
So if you get this phrase here, and I know Freemasonry uses this.
They take biblical terms and they kabobble it into their occultic garbage.
So in Freemasonry, they say, well, we are a block and want to carve you into a perfect cornerstone.
Don't let them fool you.
It's not biblical at all.
These people are...
It's a Kabbalistic organization.
It's called the craft for a reason.
Nothing to do with God, guys.
Freemasonry is a cult of...
It's literally a cult.
It's witchcraft and everything else.
It's sickening.
But anyway, the stone of which you have set...
Know of your buildings, right?
Which has become the head of the corner, right?
Which is the cornerstone.
And what does that mean?
That, you know, all the people out there, you know, like, you guys denied Jesus.
And now he's become the head of this whole, head of us all.
You know what I mean?
He's the king of kings.
Neither is there salvation of any other.
He's saying, you can't be saved by anybody else.
He's telling the head people, the same people that Jesus put to death, right?
Peter's saying, there is no other salvation through anybody else but Jesus.
For there is none other name under heaven given among men where we must be saved.
So this is also a note to you Catholics out there.
And the people to these Mexican cults who worship Mary, right?
Yeah.
They think she's a co-redeemer.
She's, yeah, we could pray through her and we could be saved.
No.
She's not any of that.
And I'm not blasting a woman either.
You know, God bless her.
She's the blessed mother, but she is not equal or anything like that to Jesus.
I want to point that out.
And I know that's going to rub a lot of people wrong, but you know what?
I don't care because it's what the Bible says.
And it says right here.
There is no other name under heaven given among men where we must be saved.
None.
Not no angels, not your dead relatives, not Mary, not even Michael the Archangel.
And I'm not bashing anybody.
I'm just saying the truth.
No other name under heaven.
None but Jesus Christ.
You can pray until the cows come home to your dead relatives and to Mary and the angels and all that.
That's not going to do you nothing.
At all.
And they're not even going to hear you.
No other name under heaven but Jesus Christ can you be saved.
Plain and simple.
He's the only mediator between man and God.
He's the only middle man.
That's that.
Bottom line.
There is nobody equal or greater than Jesus.
But the Father, right?
So now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, because they were spoken out boldly, because remember the Holy Spirit speaking to them, they are like literally on fire.
Like just blasting these Jewish leaders, the man you crucified.
Yeah, he's the one who made that guy whole again to be able to walk.
So again, now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John and perceived that they were unlearned in the ignorant men, they marveled and they took knowledge of them that they had been with Jesus.
So they're sitting there like, wow, okay.
Probably scratching their heads like, oh man, wow.
Just moved by the point that these guys are literally speaking boldly against all of us.
All of us men of power, they're speaking boldly against us.
So they're just sitting there like, wow, right?
And beholding the man which was healing, standing with them, they could say nothing against him.
So the man, and they remind you, right?
That handicapped guy?
Everybody knew him.
Every day he was at the temple gates.
The scribes knew him.
The Pharisees knew him.
The elders, the priests, they all knew him.
Everybody knew him, right?
All his life he was handicapped.
The whole area knew that.
But now this guy's running around, jumping around and everything else.
Healed.
Because when we were questioning Peter and John, right?
The healed guy was standing with them.
Standing with them, right?
First time ever he could stand, right?
They could say nothing.
In other words, against it.
They're like, well, what are we going to say against these guys?
They've witnessed because they knew this guy could never stand.
And this guy standing next to us, a voucher for Peter and John.
Yeah, what could you say?
So, but when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves.
So it looks like they had them, like, all right, guys, they had them escorted out of the area.
So basically now all these leaders could sit there conferred among themselves, like, in other words, like, talk, like, what are we going to do now?
Yeah, try to come up with a way probably to get, you know, Peter and John killed or whatever, you know what I mean?
Yeah, because they don't want this stuff because they did this to Jesus, right?
So, they all conferred by themselves, right, after they got removed from, you know, Peter, John, and the healed man got removed from their presence.
So they're all like, alright, what do we do?
What do we do?
Saying, what shall we do with these men?
For indeed, a notable miracle has been done by them is manifested to all them that dwell in Jerusalem.
And we cannot deny it.
So these are the elders.
But why couldn't they say this when Jesus was there?
Jesus was doing the stuff like every five minutes.
But they've witnessed this and there's nothing they can do.
They said, we've seen this.
All the leaders are like, oh man.
Because I'm sure they wanted John and Peter dead.
Just like Jesus, right?
They're sitting there like, wow, yeah.
Again, and then indeed a noble miracle has been done right in front of our own eyes.
We can't deny it.
Because Peter and John said it's through Jesus Christ, right?
Because they asked him again, how did you do this?
What name did you heal this man with, right?
And Peter and John said through Jesus Christ.
And right now the leaders can't deny it, right?
But that is spread no further among the people.
Let us astray and threaten them.
That they speak henceforth to no man in his name.
This name, right?
So now they're worried, right?
Because, all right, we can't deny it now, right?
For the first time, they got it.
They got it, okay?
The Jewish leaders, they finally got it.
They cannot deny the power of Jesus now, right?
That's what they're saying, right?
Now, they say, all right, what we do now, all right, we can't let it get beyond the gates here.
Because if everybody finds us out, we're going to lose control.
This, you know, the preaching of Jesus is going to go up and run like a wildfire, right?
We've got to contain this now.
So they're saying, well, we should let us threaten them to keep their mouths shut.
Don't tell any man or anything else that doesn't leave these gates.
That's what they're saying, right?
And they called them, so they got them back in the middle of the console there, right?
Peter, John, and probably the handicapped guy, right?
And they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
It's like, alright, we got it, alright.
We're admitting now there's a power of Jesus.
We've seen it, right?
But keep your mouth shut.
That's what they're saying.
But Peter and John answered and said unto them, whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
So this is Peter and John said, yeah, alright.
We're not going to comply to this.
Because it's not right in the sight of God to hearken unto your threats.
More than to God.
So this is what they're saying, right?
Alright, so we're not going to listen to you over God.
That's what they're saying.
We're not going to harken on to you more than God.
So if you think we're going to listen to you and not God, you're going to know that they come.
That's what they're saying.
For we cannot speak the things which we have seen and heard.
So when they had further threaten them, so they kept threatening them, let them go, finding nothing how they might be punishing them, because of the people, for all men glorified God, that which was one that was done, right?
So they still tried to threaten them, even though they had nothing on them, they had to let them go, right?
They threatened them to say, well, just keep your mouth shut.
For the man was above 40 years old.
Alright, so we finally find out how old he was, right?
So remember we were trying to figure out how old this guy was, the handicapped guy?
In the last chapter there?
So we're trying to figure out how old he was, right?
Remember the old, you know, we'll go back to this.
Let scripture interpret scripture.
That's where it plays right there.
That's a perfect example right there.
If you don't understand, here's the thing, Joe.
This is what a lot of religions would do.
And it's sad they do this, right?
Chapter 3, we didn't know how old this guy was, the handicapped guy, right?
What they'll do is they'll configure something, go to other books and everything else and try to manipulate something, right?
It's unfortunate.
But all you have to do is keep reading on, read description context.
And it will interpret itself.
And here we go.
Dang, right there.
Perfect example about reading the context.
And interpret itself.
So now we know how old this man is.
So yeah, for the man who was above 40 years old, on whom this miracle and healing was shown.
So for 40-something years, this guy could never walk.
That's amazing.
40-something years old, he was finally healed, right?
And being let go, they went unto their own company and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them.
So when they had heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord.
And said unto the Lord God, which has made the heaven and earth and the sea and all that is in them.
So they were rejoicing.
With one accord.
They were all praising God at the same time.
And who by the mouth of thy servant David has said...
Why did the heathen rage and the people imagine many things?
The kings, and this is so amazing, it really is.
You know what I mean?
You could make, there's not an author in this world that could make something like this up.
Talking about King David, right?
And the scripture is so amazing because you could cross-references all through the scripture.
No other book could do that.
Because you go back and read about David and all that, right?
He says this very thing.
And so here we are in the New Testament.
We're making reference to the Old Testament.
And the Old Testament makes reference to the New Testament.
Because Jesus appears to them in the Spirit, giving them prophecies of the future times.
It's just amazing.
It really is.
It's really amazing.
Wow, it's amazing.
I can't say that enough because even to this day, the prophecies, the thousands of prophecies have come true and more to follow, right?
It references the past, the present, and the future all at once.
And you use the future to reference the past.
I know it sounds weird, man, but yeah, you couldn't write this better.
Not even Steven Spielberg or the greatest authors in the world couldn't even put together.
They couldn't even come up with anything after them like this.
No other doctrine in the world, no other religious doctrine in the world could even come up anything close to this.
This is just simply amazing, right?
It says, Why did the heathen rage and the people imagine vain things, right?
And the kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord and against His grace.
That's exactly what happened, right?
And for the truth against the holy child Jesus, whom He has anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were all gathered together.
And this is what's going on here.
This is confirmed in the prophecy of David.
And the prophets.
Thousands of years later, this is a confirmation of those prophecies.
For to do whatever thy hand and thy counsel determine before us to be done.
It's just amazing.
It really is.
And now, Lord, behold their threatenings, and grant unto the servants that with all boldness they may speak thy word.
So even though they got threatened to keep your mouth shut, they're not going to keep their mouth shut.
Peter and John, they're going to announce even stronger now.
What would you do?
Me, I don't bow to threats.
Especially when this is something to do with God and stuff.
Yeah, you threaten me, I'm going to speak ten times louder.
The more you threaten me, the more I speak.
It just adds fuel to my fire.
That's what's going on here.
With Peter and John.
Even though they got threatened.
We've seen this.
They've seen us and admitted the power of Jesus.
Finally, right?
The very man they got killed, right?
Now they're admitting the power of Jesus, but you've got to keep your mouth shut.
Don't tell anybody.
Well, John and Peter are like, yeah, I don't think so.
Right?
So by stretching forth thy hand to heal, and the signs and wonders may be done by the name of the Holy Child Jesus Christ.
And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together.
And they were filled with the Holy Ghost.
And they spake the word of God with fullness.
So even after that, this is amazing, right?
This is just showing the power.
This is so amazing.
After being like, let go, keep your mouth shut, guys.
Yeah, there's going to be problems.
Yeah, right.
They went out and started praising the word of God.
And the whole place started shaking.
Because they were filled with the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost there.
And spoke the word of God boldly, right?
Today, guys, in this world today, it's going to become a time real soon that we're going to face these trials just like Peter and John did.
Understand that.
Remember I told you, when you go before your oppressors, remember?
When you go before your oppressors, And Revelation says, you know, don't premeditate what you're going to say and let the Holy Spirit speak to you.
Same thing happened here to Peter.
And the same thing is going to happen to us.
Remember that.
And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and one soul.
So the whole place shook.
Remember there was 5,000 people?
The multitude of them that believed were of one heart and one soul, it's one accord.
Right?
Neither said of any of them that want the things that which persist in his own, but they all had things in common.
And with the great power gave the apostles witnesses of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus.
The great grace was upon them all.
Could you imagine what's going on at this point?
You got them and the 5,000 people all praising God.
Everybody's full with the Holy Spirit.
Everybody's in one accord.
And of course, John and Peter speak in boldly because they're full with the Holy Spirit.
That's amazing.
It really is.
And neither was there among them that lacked, for as many of them were possessors of lands and houses and sold them, and brought the prices of things that were sold.
And laid them down at the apostles' feet, and distribution was made unto every man according to his need.
So you can see what's going on here.
All these people that were moved by this, right?
Landowners, people with a lot of money, right?
They sold everything.
Come back and brought everything to the apostles' feet, right?
And they all distributed it.
So, the poor people out there that were there that needed food, whatever the case, right?
Everybody got distributed to what they needed.
That's a blessing.
To give up everything you worked for and everything else, the houses, lands, and all that stuff, to do this, that's great.
And you can tell the Spirit of God moved to these people.
And Joseph, by whom the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, which is being interpreted as the son of Consolation, a Levite in the country of Cyprus, having land, sold it and bought the money and laid it at the apostles' feet.
So as you can see what's going on here, guys, a multitude of people.
I mean, how many people out there that need help?
Think of it today's world, right?
How many homeless people out there right now, especially in Los Angeles and it's homeless everywhere you go, in California just about, right?
Wouldn't it be great, because we know California's full of these filthy rich people, right?
What if they all came together and said, you know what, let's take our money and divide it with us, right?
We'll keep it just enough to keep ourselves afloat and the rest of it, let's give it to these people.
Get them off the streets, right?
Get them into homes and, you know, put food in their stomach, right?
You know how blessed California would become?
And that's just one city of many, you know.
And, you know, imagine if we all did that.
That's what's going on here.
5,000 people all got together to help each other.
The people who had a lot of money and stuff, they sold what they had.
And, you know, I'm sure they kept enough to keep themselves afloat.
And, you know, the extra that's helping other people out.
That's awesome.
And that's called elms right there.
That's true elms right there.
That's just amazing.
And when it says it laid the money at the apostles' feet, right?
The apostles didn't keep that money.
Again, it said it was distributed to whoever needed it.
According to who needs what, you know what I mean?
So if this family over here didn't have a house to live in, they would pay for a house to be built.
Or if this family over here had a house but they didn't have sufficient food and stuff, they would pay for the food.
You know what I mean?
You get the point.
That's amazing.
I don't know how many times I said amazing today.
But yeah, so we'll continue on to Chapter 5, the next video here.
So I would encourage you guys to read this for yourselves because it's just, it really is.
Chapter 3 and 4 here, we just witnessed a true miracle that not only healed, and the thing is, it didn't just heal a handicapped guy.
It saved 5,000 people.
The very people.
The very people that voted for Barabbas to be saved.
A murderer, right?
And the very people that condemned Jesus to be put to death.
They witnessed this miracle and they were moved by it.
And they all repented.
They came to Christ.
They were converted.
Then they all got together and said, alright, let's help each other.
And they did this, and they're all filled with the Holy Ghost.
That's why I said amazing like a thousand times tonight.
Because it truly is amazing.
So, alright guys, so we'll see you for chapter 5. Yeah, chapter 5. So, thank you for tuning in and trusting the plan, the real plan.
That's the Bible.
And don't take my word to anybody else's for it.
Read it for yourself.
Plain and simple.

So truthradioshow.com.
It's a one-stop shop that links to our social media pages and everything else.
And we don't...
On these shows here, the Bible shows, I stop broadcasting, you know, like PayPal and stuff, like donation pages.
And if you want to make a donation, that's great.
It helps our ministry out, but I don't like to...
When it comes to the Bible, I don't like to monetize it because I feel that...
This stuff is for free.
And I know it really started me.
It really started me because when I was looking through different places, right, and actually got a text message, too, about some ministry offering a percentage off of a Bible study group, whatever, a free one for the introductory.
Why would somebody charge for that?
You know, granted, I have a donation page.
That's what I have, okay, and people are not obligated to donate.
They donate to keep our ministry alive.
Absolutely none.
The bills paid at the radio studio, right?
But why would somebody charge you to learn the Word of God?
I could never in the world do that.
And I encourage everybody else, yeah, listen, I don't hold copyrights for none of this stuff.
If you want to use, I don't put copyrights, I'm sorry for it.
If you want to use these things, you know, this video here, download it and put it on your own channel, go for it.
You don't need my permission.
The Word of God should never have to be paid for.
And any ministry that charges people, it's a blasphemy.
It really is.
You should not have to pay to learn the Word of God.
First of all, you should learn it yourself.
But I provide this here because I know there's a lot of people who can't...
The Bible could be difficult if you're not...
The understanding of it.
And if you want to be an understanding, you need to pray for the Holy Spirit to help you.
I hope this series has helped out a lot of people because it's helped me out a lot too because I learned as I go as well.
But this is awesome.
And plus in the chat room, we got going on when it premieres.
It's amazing to have fellowship with the people watching and everything else.
And by the way, guys watch the premiere if you want to stay in the chat longer.
Right when the show ends, hit pause on the video and it buys you more time in the chat room.
So, and if you're watching it later, if you like anything, you know, any questions, comments, concerns, guys, or you want to add something to it that you think I missed, please put it in the comment section.
