Declaring war on the New World Order.
TruthRadioShow.com And welcome to the Dan Bedonis Show on TruthRadioShow.com And so we're in the gospel of John chapter six in this comprehensive in-depth study.
So like always guys, we have a specific Bible study approach and we do chapter by chapter, by the way.
And if you miss chapters one through five, they're in the playlist as well.
Also along with the books of Mark, the entire books of Matthew, Mark, and Luke, chapter by chapter.
So here we go, chapter six, and it's Bible study approach.
We do this every show.
Number one, to pray for wisdom and understanding.
So let's do that right now.
So Yeshua Messiah Jesus, we come before you once again to ask you to forgive us our individual sins and trespasses.
Then make us pure before the Father.
And Father, we come to you again and ask you once again to give us the Holy Spirit upon us as our great teacher, as the comforter.
To teach us your Holy Word and your blessed, amazing wisdom and understanding.
And today, the book of John chapter 6.
And we ask you to pray over everybody that's going through any kind of pain or ailments or anything, any troubles.
To comfort them and pray, to heal them and help them, Lord.
We ask you in your mighty name.
And we love you, Yeshua, Messiah, with all our hearts and soul.
In your name, amen.
So that being said, guys, we read the scripture in context, because context is key.
We don't just read through the Bible.
If you want one of those websites, you get the Bible app or whatever the case, it just reads it for you.
We don't do that.
We read it for you, obviously, yes, but we explain what it means.
We don't go through this in two minutes.
This is like sitting in the classroom, that's what it is.
So let the scripture interpret the scripture.
Plain and simple.
So let's get on with chapter 6.
If you've got a Bible, please open it up.
And we prefer the King James or Geneva or something older.
But whatever Bible you got, open it up guys, it's on screen if you're watching on the video edition.
If you're watching on, listening, I'm sorry, on the audio edition on ShakeAwakeRadio.com, thank you guys for tuning in, and thank you Annie, the owner of ShakeAwakeRadio, to do this.
So, just open your Bibles up, regardless if you want to watch it on screen or not.
So, where we left off, we left off Chapter 5, when Jesus is schooling the Jews.
Because Jesus just healed this guy, on a Sabbath day, That I couldn't get into the water, this pool they had, the angels came down to shake up the waters, and what the waters did was heal people.
So this guy couldn't even get in the pool, and Jesus told him, you know, get up, take up your bed, and you're healed.
Then he ends up telling the guy who listens, when he meets him in the temple later on, because the Jews asked him, how'd you get healed?
Who did this?
Why'd you take up your bed in the south?
And he said, well, this man came and healed me and told me to do this.
They asked who it was and they wouldn't tell him.
So later on Jesus seen him in the temple and told him that remember I made you whole right?
He said no more.
He said to repent or worse things will come on to you.
So again I don't know if this guy took offense to that then because he left the temple went on and told the Jews after this point who did this.
So anyway the Jews came out and started you know they wanted to commit him number one right for working on the Sabbath.
They wanted to put him to death.
And number two, the charge, is claiming to be the Messiah.
To them, it was blasphemy, right?
So we went through that in the last chapter, right?
And Jesus told them at the end of this chapter, right?
Hey!
Jesus Moses prophesied about me.
And if you don't believe me, him, I'm sorry.
If you don't believe him, how are you going to believe me?
So we move on to chapter six.
And after these things, so after the situation, Jesus went over to the Sea of Galilee, which is in the Sea of Tiberias.
And it's funny too, because every time Jesus schooled the Jews, right?
He just left, and they just stood there dumbfounded.
Because Jesus made a mockery out of them in front of everybody.
Because they're trying to wrongfully convict Jesus, and not acknowledge him as the Son of God.
Jesus schooled them, and they just left dumbfounded, you know?
And Jesus was like, yeah, alright.
On to the next place.
So he went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias.
And a great multitude followed him.
So again, great multitudes, thousands of people.
Because they saw his miracles, which he did unto them that were diseased.
So all the people that had diseases and all that stuff, right?
Demons and whatever the case, they all seen the miracles.
So they could go be testimony, right?
And what he was talking about in the last chapter too, about people testifying of him?
Because they've seen first hand.
And all the people that were around, the thousands of people have seen these miracles happen to themselves.
So, they went all over the world.
You know, the area, I'm sorry, in the Middle East, whatever the case is, Europe and all that.
Saying this, the Messiah is here, he healed me, and all this other stuff, right?
That's how the gospel spread, along with them spreading it too.
So, and Jesus went up into a mountain.
And there, he sat with the disciples.
And if you know us too, right?
Every time, like, the special conference happened and all that stuff.
He was always up on the mountain.
Being up in a high place.
All these major events happen with the prophets as well.
Up on high mountains.
If you get to the Book of Enoch, right?
The Good Enoch, by the way.
He wrote a petition from the fallen angels to God.
Up on the high mountain, on Mount Hermon.
That's where the fallen angels are descending upon.
It's kind of funny because the United Nations is based up there right now.
Yeah, not a coincidence.
So anyway, he was up on the mountain, and there he sat with his disciples.
In the Passover, a feast of the Jews was night, which is coming now, right?
And Jesus then lifted up his eyes and saw a great company come unto him.
He said unto Philip, Whence shall we buy you bread, that these may eat?
And this is, he said, to prove him for himself knew what he could do, would do, right?
And Philip answered him and said, 200 penny worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.
So now, mind you, it was down at the mountain, right?
They followed Jesus.
Multitude, thousands of people.
We're down on the way, he's on the mountain there listening to Jesus while he was sitting up there with the disciples, right?
And the Passover, the feast of the Jews, and Jesus lifted up his eyes in great company.
It's all great company, tons of people come up to him, onto him, right?
So there's thousands of people approached him, right?
And he said to Philip, Well, we need food for these guys, you know what I mean?
And so, and he was also proved himself to have, Philip proved himself, right?
With faith, right?
And Philip said, well, 200 penny worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.
So he goes, we don't have enough bread or money to feed all these people.
And one of the disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said unto him, There is a lad here, which has five barley loaves and two small fishes, but what are they among so many?
So you say there's a kid, this little young guy here, a kid, whatever the case, a lad.
He's got a basket, right?
It has five barley loaves of bread and two small fishes in it.
But how's that going to feed all these people?
And Jesus said, make the men sit down.
Now there was much grass in the place, so the men sat down in a number of about 5,000.
So we talked about earlier, in the last chapter 2, multitude is about 4-5,000 people, right?
So about 5,000, right here, about 5,000 people sat down, right?
So all they have right now is a basket with five loaves of bread and two small fishes, right?
With 5,000 people, plus the apostles, plus Jesus.
So, and once again, the apostles are like, how are we going to feed all these people on ourselves?
And Jesus is probably looking at them, guys, how many times am I going to show you?
Have faith!
How many times am I going to show this to you?
But anyway, Jesus took the loaves of bread, right?
And when he gave thanks, he prayed to the Father, as we learned in Matthew and Mark, right?
And Luke as well.
He distributed it to the disciples.
And the disciples to them that were sat down.
So Jesus is picking bread out of the basket, right?
Giving it to the apostles and spreading it out to the people all over, right?
And likewise the fishes as much as they would.
So Jesus keeps taking bread out of the basket and fish out of the basket for each person.
That was to the apostles to go around and give to the people, right?
Then when they were filled, he said unto the disciples, gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.
So, not only does he feed 5,000 people and themselves with five fish, I'm sorry, two fish and five loaves of bread, right?
But he said, go around and get all the leftovers, all the scraps, right?
Gather them up.
So therefore, they gathered them together and filled 12 baskets with fragments of five-bodied loaves and which remained over and above onto them that had eaten.
So, this is amazing.
So he turned five-bodied loaves and two fish to feed everybody, 5,000 people plus themselves.
And on top of it, they had scraps and leftovers.
People ate, you know, to their fill.
And they had scraps and leftovers to fill 12 baskets.
Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, this is of truth that the prophets shouldn't come into the world.
Now if you take a picture, this just hit me in the head for a minute, right?
12 baskets.
This is just coming to my head, so please bear with me for a minute, right?
The number 12, 12 baskets, right?
How many apostles are there?
12, right?
The main apostles.
Disciples, I'm sorry.
Whatever you want to call them, right?
So Jesus and all the 5,000 people, right?
So what looks as little is filled, overfilled actually, yeah, if you look at it, all those people.
And when he says at one point, man shall not live by bread alone.
Let's talk about him.
He's proven a point right here.
Yes, he's physically feeding these people, right?
But there's a point being proven here.
See how this worked?
And the thing is, Jesus handed the apostles the bread and fish, right?
He handed them the bread and flesh to hand out instead of handing it out himself.
There's a reason for that, right?
Because look at all the work they've done.
Up to this point, for the, you know, couple years they've been walking around witnessing the people and all that, right?
He used the 12 apostles to do this, right?
To spread the doctrine.
And he's spreading the bread here through the apostles.
So, if you kind of get what I'm saying here, this is a physical sign of what he was doing.
That the spiritual stuff he's been doing, this is a physical sign of that.
So, then those men, which had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, this is a truth that a prophet shouldn't come into the world.
And when Jesus, therefore, perceived that they would come and take him by force to make him a king, he departed again into the mountains himself alone.
So now the people, they're just like, wow, we've just seen you heal people, we've seen you do this and that, cast out demons, now you fed us all with white wool and bread and two fish?
Yeah, let's make him our king right now.
They were ready to say, you know what, we don't care about the Jewish elders and Rome, whatever, we're gonna make you our king right now.
We don't care about the king of Rome.
We don't care about whoever.
We're gonna make you our king right now.
And then we're literally ready to come take him by force to do this, right?
To make him a king.
But he's not here for that.
Because if that would have happened, right?
This would have prolonged his crucifixion.
Or prevented it.
That's why he departed into the mountains.
Now hear me out, right?
I'm not adding stuff to this.
Because if they made him king, right?
Imagine him being king, now the Jews were the people, right?
A massive number.
That's why, if you take a look, right?
As the scripture said, the Jewish priests and all that, they wanted to kill Jesus.
But the only thing that stopped them is the massive multitude of people that love Jesus.
They knew if they would have took Jesus, they would have stormed them by force.
Unless he had a darn good reason to do so.
So if you kind of understand what I'm saying here, right?
They had a good reason to do that.
I'll say, no, well, yeah, if we take Jesus right now, and they could have, but the people would have stumbled.
So, they were ready to make him king.
If they made him king, which he is a king, absolutely.
That's why Pontius Pilate had the king of the Jews put up over his cross, on the head.
So if they were to make him king, that means those people would have become a powerful force for him, and they would have prevented him any harm upon him.
That's why Jesus is like, no, I can't do that, because I am your king, yes, but if I did this right now, right?
He's saying, that would have prevented my crucifixion problem.
But he's not there for that.
You know, he's there for the crucifixion.
So that's why he departed again into the mountain by himself alone.
So he had to get away from this before they did this, right?
So when evening was to come, the evening came, the night, his disciples went down into the sea and entered into a ship and went over the sea toward Capernaum.
And that was dark, it was nighttime, the evening, right?
And Jesus was not with them.
Jesus didn't take the ride with them, right?
And the sea rose by reason of great wind that blew.
So now Jesus stayed.
What happened?
Jesus left, you know, at this point, he went further up to the mountain by himself.
And eventually the multitudes of people departed and so did the apostles, right?
So they got in the boat and went over in the sea toward Capernaum by themselves.
Jesus didn't go with them because they were instructed to go to Capernaum to preach the gospel, right?
The word, I'm sorry, the witness, whatever.
And so, at this point now, it's night time and now the sea just erupted.
You know, waves, great winds and everything else, right?
So, when they had rowed about 520 at 30 furlongs.
I don't know what that is.
Actually, you know what I think?
Let me see how long a furlong is.
It's a good question.
How many miles is a fur?
One furlong is, yeah, a tenth of a mile.
So let's put 30.
That'll be 3.7 miles.
Alright, so... 5 and 20... 5 and 20 are 30.
So yeah, alright, so about 30 furlongs, right?
That's 3.7 miles.
20 or 30.
So yeah.
So about 30 furlongs, right?
It's 3.7 miles.
Well, it's U.S. furlongs.
So I don't know.
It could be different in Now, you gotta remember too, guys.
The weight metrics are standard.
It's like, you know, when the whole world agree upon what these things measure to be.
Like, back then, a foot was literally the size of your foot.
Or a cubit was your elbow to the point of your finger.
Today, it's 1.5 feet.
You know what I mean?
And today, a foot is 12 inches, right?
So, furlong could have been different back then.
But regardless, it's 3.7, about 4 miles, right?
So, they rode about 4 miles out to the sea.
And they, this is now, again, there's a great wind going on, the seas are erupting.
And Matthew gets into greater detail about this, right?
So anyway, when they wrote about, um, four miles out, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawn near to the ship, and they were afraid, because they didn't recognize him that far, so like, what the heck?
There's a guy in the middle of the storm walking on the water, what the heck is going on?
And the last thing they knew, that Jesus was still up on that mountain.
So, they see this figure walking in the middle of the night, in the stormy water, like, walking toward the ship.
So, I'm sure the fear of God was going right to him at this point.
But he said unto them, It is I. Be not afraid.
So he yelled, Hey, it's me!
Don't be afraid!
Then they willingly received him into the ship, and immediately the ship was at the land where they went.
So, as soon as he got into the ship, it was at the land.
And by the way, like, again, Matthew gets into greater details.
That's why it's a longer book.
He gets into greater details, and like, as soon as he got on the ship, whatever, the whole, you know, the sea's calmed its way.
So the day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat out there, Save that one, where into his disciples were entered.
And Jesus went, not with the disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone.
So they all knew, they all seen the boat, the pot.
Only the apostles.
And the last thing they knew, Jesus went up further up into the mountain.
So like, they were wondering if he came out of another boat or something.
Thank you.
Like from Tiberius to the other place where they did eat the bread they did and everything, right?
After the Lord had given thanks.
So when the people therefore saw Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they took ship in and came to Capernaum seeking for Jesus.
So now they see they're not there no more, they're not in the mountain where they gave the bread and fish, right?
And so, they themselves, the multitudes, crossed over to Capernaum.
And when they had found him, on the other side of the sea, they said to the rabbi, When did you come here?
They were just puzzled.
What the heck just happened?
How did you get over there?
As Jesus said unto them, right?
Which goes very early, it's a serious statement.
I say unto you, you seek me not because you saw the miracles, but because you did eat of the loaves that were filled.
And labor not for the meat which perish, but for the which the meat that endures into everlasting life.
Remember I was mentioning earlier, when something came upon me?
About the twelve disciples, twelve loaves of bread and all that, everlasting life?
Yeah, this is where it comes in.
Again, let the Scripture interpret Scripture.
So I guess I wasn't, you know, just making stuff up.
It wasn't making stuff up, it was just, that's what made sense to me.
I wasn't adding up to nothing, you know, I wasn't making nothing up.
That's what made sense to me.
And here it is right here.
Laban not for the meat which you perish.
You know, the meat you make.
In other words, like you kill the animal, whatever case.
The meat you make, like bread or whatever.
Back then, meat meant just food.
That's what meat meant.
It could be bread.
It could be lamb or whatever, right?
You gotta labor for that meat, right?
And it perishes, it does.
I mean, like, if you leave it out, it perishes or whatever.
But the meat which endures into everlasting life, which the Son of God, man, shall give unto you, for him that has God, the Father, sealed.
Because he said, so remember the food we gave you to eat, right?
The point of that, okay, like I said earlier, the point of that was to show the salvation of God.
To point that out.
And I, you know, again, like, this was actually the Holy Spirit when I mentioned this earlier.
And honestly, that was the Holy Spirit that spoke through me.
That's what clicked in my head when I said, well, hold on, there's something that's coming to my head.
That's what came to my head.
That's amazing, it really is.
Bless the Lord.
Then said unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
So, do we do the works of God?
They're asking.
Jesus said unto them, This is the work of God, that you believe on me, on him who sent me.
In other words, believe on me, the Father, right?
Believe the Father who sent me.
Said before unto him, What signs showest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee?
What has thou worked?
Our fathers did eat manna in the desert, as it is written.
He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
So they're saying, well, they said, Therefore unto him, what signs show, you gotta show us then, that we may believe, And Jesus said unto them, verily, verily, again being serious, verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not the bread from heaven, but the Father gave you the true bread from heaven.
The true bread from heaven.
That's Jesus.
For the bread of God is he which comes down from heaven and gives life unto the world.
That's him.
That's the whole point of the five loaves in the basket that fed over 5,000 people.
Yes, he physically fed over 5,000 people.
But the point of that demonstration was to show he is the living bread.
Do you understand us now?
He is the living bread for eternal life.
Again, men shall not live by bread alone.
Yeah, the physical bread.
I hope you guys can understand what I'm saying.
Then said unto him, Lord evermore give us this bread.
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life.
He that comes to me shall never hunger.
And he that believes on me shall never thirst.
That was the point.
Yes, they wanted to feed the multitudes, right?
5,000 people.
But the point of it was to demonstrate something.
That's when that, you know, that thing just clicked right in my head that was Holy Spirit speaking through me.
Now this confirms it.
And now, um, I just want to let you know, and honest, you know, I did not read this before I did this.
Because I'm just letting Holy Spirit speak through me, and I did not pre-read this before I did this video.
Just want to let you guys know that.
So, then this is what I'm seeing, and I'm sure you all see the same thing.
Now this confirms it.
That's the power of the Holy Spirit.
No glory to me, or you, or anybody else.
This is all glory to the Father.
Verse 36 says, But I said unto you, that you shall have seen me, and believe not.
And that the Father gives me, shall come to me, and him that comes to me I will no wise cast out.
So he's saying that people, even though you see me, you're not going to blame me.
But he's saying that the Father gives me, shall come to me.
And him that comes to me, I will him no wise cast out.
You know, casting out is casting out of darkness, right?
Where there will be weeping, gnashing of teeth.
I'm not going to do that to him, if you believe me.
Come to me and believe in me.
For I came down from heaven, not to do my own will to do my own thing, but the will of the Father, of Him that sent me.
I'm not here for my purpose, I'm not here to do, you know, run around, have fun and all that stuff.
I came here to do the will of the Father.
And this is the Father's will which has sent me, that all of which has given me, I should lose nothing.
But should raise that up again in the last day.
And this is the will of him that sent me, that everyone which sees the Son, that's him, right?
Believes on Him.
And may have everlasting life, and I will raise Him up on that last day.
Just amazing, really is.
The scriptures speak out to you guys, and that's why I said in the last video, you can't learn this stuff in academia.
That's colleges and all that stuff.
You can't learn it like this.
This is to be done with a spiritual application.
The Holy Spirit teaching us spiritually, yeah.
That's when you really understand the Bible.
A college professor, or you know, God bless them, whatever the case is.
Priests and what not.
That, you know, do classes, whatever.
They, me, myself, it's the Holy Spirit that needs to teach you to write upon your God.
Now, I'm not blasting, you know, Bible scholars.
And, you know, a lot of people do claim to be Bible scholars, don't really know the Bible.
But, some do.
Yeah, absolutely.
But some don't.
They, you know, get this college degree and say, oh, they're a scholar.
No.
A real scholar comes from the Holy Spirit.
You don't need a piece of paper on your wall.
You need the Holy Spirit to write it upon your heart.
But regardless, that's a whole other subject altogether.
So yeah.
He said, this is the will of Him that sent me.
That's the Father God, right?
That everyone that sees the Son and believes in Him, talk about Himself, right?
You see me, you believe me, right?
May have everlasting life.
And I will raise Him up at that last day.
Talking about the day of resurrection when Jesus returns.
After the Antichrist and the sun, moon, and gold dock.
The stars are going to fall from heaven and the shepherds will shake it up, right?
Then comes him with a great power and glory.
And he's going to raise the dead in Christ up.
Yeah.
I remember you on that last day.
The Jews then murmured at him.
So now there's Jews in the crowd.
There's always Jews in the crowd, okay?
And you got all these people Jewish.
It's not saying that, right?
The Jews they're referring to is like the chiefs or whatever.
The priests and the elders and whatnot, right?
There's always them in the crowd because again, they're looking for any little tidbit to try to persecute Jesus.
Prosecute Jesus.
And kill him, right?
So they murmured about him, right?
Because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven, right?
Because he said that, right?
Now the Jews started murmuring.
And they said, it is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we knew?
How is it then that he said, I came down from heaven?
So now they say, well, hold on.
You're the son of Joseph, mother's Mary, right?
We knew them.
We always knew them, right?
But how can you say you're the bread that came down from heaven?
So Jesus, therefore, answered and said unto them, murmur not among yourselves.
Because, yeah, actually, yeah, murmur means talking among yourselves.
That, you know, you're whispering, like, we know his parents.
How does he claim that he's the son of God, you know, the bread of heaven?
So, you know, of course, Jesus can hear them, because Jesus is supernatural, you know.
And he looked over at them and said, yeah, yeah, I hear what you guys are murmuring.
He goes, remember not among yourselves.
He goes, no man comes to me except the Father which has sent me drawn to him.
And I will raise him up on the last day.
And it is written, that's the books of Moses and all that stuff, right?
The prophets, the liars and all that.
It is written in the prophets that they shall be taught, all taught by God.
All the prophets were taught by God, right?
He's saying, every man therefore that has heard has learned of the Father comes unto me.
Not that any man has seen the Father, save he which is God, he has seen the Father.
So no man's seen the Father, and yeah, it's not a contradiction, because people say, well, the Bible says in here that he's seen God, right?
Okay.
Moses, he's seen the burning bush, he didn't see the real, his true image, or he would have dropped dead.
Just seeing the burning bush alone, the radiance caused Moses to age, his face was actually glowing.
That's why when he came down, he had to put a veil over his head, because it scared the heck out of people.
And people who've seen forms of God went to the same stuff.
But to see the full radiance of God, that's what he's talking about.
I just want to clarify that.
Because they're, you know, in the Old Testament people have seen God, but they didn't see the full radiance of God, the full image of who, you know, anyone else would drop dead from the radiance.
You've got to be in a spirit to do that.
So I want to point that out, right?
So he says that no man's seen God, the Father, which is of God has seen the Father, right?
So verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believes on me has everlasting life.
I am the bread of life.
Your fathers did eat man in the wilderness, and are dead.
Remember I mentioned earlier, we talked about this, The physical bread.
Yeah, he fed all his people, right?
But that's not... The message and the point he was making is that he is that spiritual bread.
Even though he physically fed 5,000 people, right?
But the message behind that miracle that he did.
Say, I am that living bread.
Believe in me, okay?
And you're not gonna perish.
You're not gonna thirst no more.
You're not gonna hunger no more.
This is the bread that came down from heaven, that a man may eat it thereof and not die.
So he is the salt, even right now guys, if you're out there and you don't believe in Jesus, right?
He's that bread.
You still can eat it up, that bread.
And this is in the spiritual sense right now, right?
Believe in Jesus and he will be that bread that you'll never hunger again.
And he spilt his blood for atonement of our sins.
We're never going to thirst again.
And I am the living bread which came down from heaven.
And if any man eats of this bread, he shall live forever.
And the bread I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
Again, he came and manifested the flesh, right?
Through Mary, he came to be the last lamb sacrificed to die for the sins of the world.
And now this flesh he's talking about now is a spiritual application.
Believe in him, that he shed his blood for us, is what he's saying.
And at this point right now he hasn't been crucified yet, right?
But he's saying, my flesh, I'm going to sacrifice for you guys.
So the Jews, therefore, strove among themselves, saying, how can this man give us his flesh straight?
So they're taking this like, like, like, what is he, a cannibal or something?
You know, he wants us to eat his flesh.
But they don't get the point.
They don't get it.
Now the people listening, they get what he's saying.
They're not saying to go over and take a bite out of him and eat him.
He's not saying, I'm sorry, Jesus.
They don't get, the Jews here don't get it, what he's trying to say.
And Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, except you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.
Bye.
Thank you.
That's to talk about the spirit, you know, into the next life.
Really concentrate on this, right?
He's not saying to come over and take a bite out of me, right?
Eat my flesh and drink the blood that came out.
He's not saying that.
The people get it, but the Jews don't.
In other words, if you believe in Him, okay?
In the afterlife, His bread, which is His flesh, right?
That was sacrificed for you.
You're never gonna hunger again.
The blood He spilled for us.
In the afterlife, yeah?
We're never gonna thirst again.
And this will give us life in the eternal life.
Obviously, they're alive right now, right?
Because I know some people like they take this to a whole new level, right?
Well, you know.
Well, they're alive.
Of course they're alive at this point in here, right?
The Jews, right?
He's not somebody he's talking about.
He's not talking about that.
He's talking about the afterlife.
Obviously, there's life in them right now at this point, right?
Because they're sitting there talking to him.
He's not talking about that.
He's talking about the afterlife.
And I apologize, guys.
I have to explain this stuff because people who like to mock the Bible They'll take these out of context and say, oh yeah, there's a contradiction, whatever the case, right?
No.
You gotta always be on your guard.
That's why it's important to know the Scriptures.
Because these people, they'll strategically do that.
To try to damper the Word of God.
Because they, like the Jews here, and I'm not saying the Jews today, I'm saying these particular Jews, they, like them, do not understand what they're talking about.
So if Scott's like, oh, what are we gonna do, take a bite of Jesus' body or something?
Or trick his butt?
Yeah, they don't understand.
He's talking about the spiritual sentient.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and I will raise him up on the last day.
That's why we do communion.
In remembrance of him, we take a bite of the bread and a drink of the wine.
It's in remembrance of him, as we said at the Last Supper.
Because just spiritually, again, before Jesus, right, you had to take, you know, one of your best, you know, flock, whatever the case, like a perfect lamb, or whatever the case, or animal, and sacrifice that.
Then you would eat the flesh of the animal, right, after that, the atonement.
And the, sorry, when you sacrifice the animal, right, on the altar, you had to kill the animal right there.
And the blood was spilt on the altar to atone for your sins.
Now Jesus come and he put an end to it all.
He became the final lamb.
So no longer you have to go get a lamb and cut his throat.
And like physically have the blood on the altar.
This is in the spiritual sense.
Believe in him and believe that he, that's what he's saying right?
Believe that he was sacrificed for our sins.
He came into flesh, died in the flesh for our sins and his blood was spilt for us.
And you're gonna have eternal life.
And he's gonna raise you up on that last day.
You need to believe that with all your heart and all your soul because that's what's gonna save you guys.
He goes, for my flesh is meat indeed and my blood is drink indeed.
He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood dwell in me and I in him.
You get what this is saying?
He will be in us and we in him.
If we take, believe He died for us, guys.
And when we do communion, you know, it's, uh, you really need to believe that.
You know, His flesh and blood that He spilled for us that we eat and drink.
And as the living Father sent me, and I live by the Father, right?
For he that eats me even shall live by me.
This is very powerful.
We're in a lot of spiritual warfare right now, right?
This is the bread that which came down from heaven, not as your fathers did eat manna.
It's not talked about.
See, he's pointing out this ain't the bread, the physical bread I'm talking about.
That you guys just ate on the mountain.
You guys, because they're dead, right?
He's not talking about that.
So for scoffers out there, you need to understand what he's talking about.
Now he's explaining to the Jews what he's talking about.
It's a special sense.
Your fathers and all that ate manna and bread, right?
They end up dying, right?
That's what he's talking about.
He's saying.
He that eats of this bread shall live forever.
Believing in him.
And these things he said in the synagogue, as he's taught in Capernaum, many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard of this, this is a hard saying, who can hear it?
This is some serious stuff he's talking about.
And when Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, does this offend you?
Because that's the point, the disciples are like, what is he talking about?
It's hard saying who can hear this.
Because this is some heavy stuff.
The apostles, the disciples.
Saying who's going to understand this?
Who can hear it, right?
And Jesus looked at him.
He heard the murmuring about it.
He goes, does this offend you?
His own apostles, right?
Does this offend you?
What in if ye shall see the Son of Man ascend up where he was before?
See like I said earlier?
He was up there before, so he was manifested in the flesh.
He was already here before the world was created.
He came, the Holy Spirit implanted him in the flesh, in the womb of Mary, to come into this realm of the world, right?
This dimension, if you want to call it like that, right?
To be physically in the earth and in the flesh.
But he says, what if you shall see me Ascend up where it was before, as we learn later on in the scriptures, that they physically see Jesus ascending to heaven.
After the crucifixion, and they see him again under Mount Olives and all that, he ascends up to heaven.
And it is the spirit that quicketh, the flesh profaneth nothing.
The words that I speak unto you, they are of spirit, and they are of life.
So spiritually, you gotta drink the blood of Jesus.
Spiritually, you gotta eat the flesh of Jesus.
In other words, recognizing that he was crucified and spilt his blood for our sins.
His atonement for our sins.
So he's explaining this to the Jews.
He's saying, again, I'm not saying to come over, take a bite of me, then drink my blood.
Physically, he's saying to believe in me.
That I am here to be sacrificed.
But there are some of you that don't believe me, he's saying.
For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were believed not and who should betray him.
So you know Judas, from the beginning he already knew Judas Iscariot was going to betray him, right?
He already knew ahead of time who was going to believe him or not.
And he said, therefore I said unto you, that no man could come unto me except it were given unto him of my father.
And from that time, many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him.
Now, I want to point out, guys, real quick, right?
Many disciples, right?
People say there's only 12.
No.
If you really took count, right, he had 70 disciples.
The apostles were 12.
You know, they were the head ones, like Peter and John and whatnot.
But he had discipled 70 people, aside from them.
That's how they spread the gospel.
And if you go back in the scriptures, so many of them that were, you know, they end up like, all right.
Yeah.
Well, they, they, they stopped walking with him because Jesus called them up because a lot of them still didn't really believe in Jesus as the Messiah.
They believe there was a great prophet, but they didn't really acknowledge it.
So they, he weaved out the people that didn't believe it.
That's what happened.
The multitudes that followed him, yeah, they were just followers.
Then he had a group of, I think it was, again, I think it was about 70 disciples.
Then the 12 apostles.
The head disciples, right?
So Jesus said unto the 12, yeah, see, right there, it's right there.
Because many of the disciples went back and walked no more with Jesus, right?
Then he turns to the 12.
That we're still with them, right?
Like I just said.
I don't want people to say, oh, you're adding stuff to the Bible, Dan.
He only had 12 disciples.
No!
That's not the case.
The 12, okay?
The 12 were the head ones.
They went with him everywhere, right?
The other ones were out there to spread the gospel.
And again, it was about, um... There was about 70 of them.
As we pointed out, I think it was Matthew or Mark, whatever the case.
And if you actually could look this up in the concordance, whatever they do, or the dictionary do, the biblical dictionary, yeah.
So, among the 70 plus, or whatever, disciples they had, those were the other disciples, right?
Many of them just turned around and said, alright, I'm done, I'm walking away.
Then Jesus turned to the 12, you know, the 12 apostles, and he goes, will you also go away too?
Then Simon Peter answered him and said, Lord, To whom shall we go?
Those show has the words of eternal life.
You guys are like, yeah, we're not walking away because who are we going to go to?
Where are we going to go?
Your words are of eternal life, so we're going to follow you.
And we believe and are sure that you are the Christ, the Son of God, the living God.
Peter is saying, Simon Peter, we're sure, we know you're the Messiah.
We believe you're the Messiah and you're the Son of the Lord God.
And Jesus answered them, and he says, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you who is the devil?
So out of the twelve, he's talking about Judas Iscariot.
At this point in time, nobody knows it's Judas, but Jesus.
Again, there's twelve.
This is a lot of stuff that people don't understand, too.
There was 70 plus... I gotta get the correct number.
I'll probably mention it in the next chapter.
Or you can look it up.
We actually covered it at one point.
You know, I think it was Matthew, Mark, or Luke.
There was like 70 disciples.
And the 12, we talked about the apostles.
You know, they were like the chiefs, so to speak.
And one of them, Judas, betrayed them, right?
Then he goes, I chose you.
And one of you is the devil.
That was Judas, right?
And he spake of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.
For he is, was, that which betrayed him, being one of the twelve.
So it's amazing.
Before anybody claims I added stuff to this this just confirmed everything guys And this is amazing It truly is amazing.
Again, I didn't know... I had no idea, guys.
When I started doing this Bible study, like I said, I learned as I go as well as you are.
When I started this Bible series, right?
Because a long time ago, I did the book of Judah.
It was only one chapter, so I did it.
And I'm like, wow, it'd be amazing just to do the whole... Try out the New Testament.
See where it goes, right?
Up until then, I had no idea there were 70 disciples.
I thought there was only 12.
And again, I could be wrong for about 10 or whatever.
But there is dozens of disciples.
Aside from the 12.
I had no idea until recently, you know, when I started doing these video series, that was the case.
So I am learning just as much as you.
Yeah.
This is amazing.
It really is.
And put in the comment section too.
How many of you knew up until now, right?
Or we are the, I think it was again Matthew or whatever.
How many of you knew up until watching the series that there was more than 12 disciples?
So put that in the comment section.
I just want to know.
Be honest though.
And I'm honest with you guys right now.
I honestly had no idea there was more than 12.
And again, there's the head 12, right?
That you call the 12.
The apostles, right?
I had no idea there was more than 12 of them.
Again, they were picked by Jesus to go spread the word of God out.
His testimony and all that, right?
Throughout the land.
That's how they got it so fast, quick, all throughout the Middle East and Europe.
Because that was their job, being the apostles, right?
And he gave all of them, all of them, Temporary power to cast out, well, we all got power to cast out demons through Jesus.
Gave more power to heal people and everything.
And to forgive their sins at that time.
Just to spread the gospel.
Because Jesus couldn't cover the whole land by himself, you know?
It's amazing.
So again, put in the comment section, how many of you knew up until this video series that you didn't know there was more than 12?
I don't want you to take my word for it guys!
I don't!
Don't take anybody else's word for it!
