Declaring war on the New World Order.
TruthRadioShow.com And welcome to the Dan Bedana Show on TruthRadioShow.com So we're in a in-depth comprehensive study of the book of Luke chapter 22.
If you missed chapters 1 through 21, they're in the playlist.
So guys, please check them out.
And so it's actually, if you just tuned in this, chapter 22, I would highly recommend you watch chapters 1 through 21.
This way you can catch up to date what's going on.
And preferably if you just watch chapter 20 and 21, it will help you understand what's going on in chapter 22.
So, yeah, because we like to do things in context.
So please watch that.
We also did the entire book of Matthew and Mark as well.
So we go chapter by chapters.
So what we do is like, we don't just read through the Bible, we actually examine the Bible.
And we take our time examining it.
We're not going to be here for five minutes just reading through the Bible.
We're going to examine this in full context.
So before we begin, let's go for a prayer and a prayer for wisdom and understanding.
So, Yeshua Messiah, Jesus, our Lord and Savior, we love you so much.
And thank you, thank you so much for going to the cross for us and shedding your blood for us.
And thank you, Heavenly Father, for giving your only begotten Son for our pettiness and sinfulness and everything else that we may be redeemed from it.
And Heavenly Father, we ask you to install knowledge upon us and your divine word right upon our hearts through the Holy Spirit.
In this case today, the book of Luke chapter 22.
And we also ask you, Father, to heal anybody that's going through any kind of physical, spiritual, emotional ailments, or whatever the case.
We ask you to heal them and comfort them as well.
And protect us all, Lord, with your precious blood, that bind the forces of evil from harming any of us.
And protect us all, Lord, and we ask you in your mighty name, Amen.
And that being said, guys, we read the Scripture in context, because remember, context is key.
Very important to understand this.
That's why we repeat this after every video we do.
Context is key.
We have to go to this Bible study approach, pray for wisdom and understanding, read the Scripture in context, not a couple of verses here, then go to another chapter, read another couple of verses, like the conventional churches do.
No, you don't do that.
Read the scriptures, okay, and the verses in context.
Because context is key, and let the scripture interpret itself.
Lean not on your understanding, let the scripture interpret itself in the Holy Spirit.
So let's begin guys and if you've got a Bible please open it up.
We use a King James and you know we always suggest King James although we really frowned upon the newer Bibles but whatever the Bible you got please open it up and if you listen on audio edition on ShakenWakeRadio.com and thank you Annie from ShakenWakeRadio.com ShakenWakeRadio.com for carrying the show so thank you so much Annie and yeah if you're watching on screen the Bible is on screen so let's begin.
So chapter 22 and chapter 21 was a very, very powerful chapter.
Jesus is like, you know, very similar to Matthew 24.
Telling about his prophecies before he returns.
Before you come back, what's the prophecy going to be?
He laid it out.
So if you missed that chapter, it's not playlist, guys.
So we're on to chapter 22.
So now the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Junia, which is called the Passover.
Which here, March of 2023, we got a couple months to the Passover, right?
Anyway, and then yes, it's a biblical holiday, not Easter.
Just want to point that out.
Jesus celebrated the Passover.
So, the Passover's coming at this point, right?
And the chief priests and scribes thought how they might kill him, for they feared the people.
So, if you haven't been caught up to date, guys, what's been going on?
The chief priests and scribes have been trying to goad Jesus into answering some questions that are going to incriminate him.
They do it in front of large amounts of people.
Now, they've been trying to kill him for a long time.
But they know if they did any harm to him, the mobs of people would destroy them.
Because Jesus had a rock star following him.
So now what they're trying to do in public is try to get Jesus to say something incriminating.
And Jesus shoots him down every time.
It's awesome.
He hands it right back to them.
So now the Passover's coming.
Now they're like, alright, we gotta get rid of this guy.
That's what they're doing.
Then Satan entered into Judas' surname Eschara.
Judas Eschara, right?
Being of the number of the twelve.
So Satan went into Judas.
Iscariot, that's his name.
And he went in his way and communed with the chief priests and captains how they may betray him.
So Satan went into Judas.
And people said, well, if he's a follower of Jesus Christ, how can Satan work to him?
Well, the thing is, was he really a follower at all?
Maybe he was a follower, but he wasn't a true believer.
Because if you're a true believer, Satan can't go into you and do that.
He can tempt you and everything, but he can't go into you.
So Judas from the day one, he wasn't, what I see here, wasn't a believer, right?
Some spiritual warfare here.
So Satan went into Judas Iscariot here, and began with, you know, because number 12 was his disciples.
Satan infiltrated the disciples, the apostles.
By going into Judas Iscariot.
And he went his way in Judas Iscariot, right?
And then he went to the chief priests and the captains.
And they converged and said, all right, how are we going to betray Jesus?
How am I going to betray Jesus?
How are we going to convict this guy?
So Judas Iscariot helped the chief priests and scribes come up with a plot to kill Jesus.
So Judas is going to sell Jesus out.
And they were glad and convented to give him money.
So, I think it was 40 pieces of silver or something?
So they, yeah, which was a lot of money, right?
Back then.
So, they were going to pay Judas big time.
Alright, whatever you want, I don't care.
I'll give you anything you want, we need to kill Jesus.
That's what the chief priests were saying.
The priests.
That's what the scribes were saying.
So Judas, he promised and sought an opportunity to betray him.
And unto them, the absence of the multitude.
So, without the multitude of the people being around, he'd come up with a way, alright, let's do this.
Then came the day of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover must be killed.
And he sent Peter and John saying, go and prepare, Jesus says, go and prepare us the Passover that we may eat.
So, this is Jesus saying, yeah, we take part in the Passover.
And for those dispassionates out there that think Easter's a Jesus holiday, no.
It's not a Jesus holiday.
At all.
It's nothing to do with Jesus.
It's a pagan how they're fertility.
And the resurrection was actually an eve of these.
It wasn't on Easter itself.
So, we'll get into that as we go along.
So, Peter and John, you know, they went and prepared a place for Jesus to do the Passover, so they could eat.
That's the lamb and everything else, right?
For those people out there that, you know, there's a group of people out there at the scenes who think that Jesus was a vegetarian and apostles.
No, they weren't.
And they said unto him, where they built, where we prepare.
Well, where are we going to prepare for that?
So they asked him.
He said, go prepare a place for us to do the Passover, right?
The feast.
And they said, where?
And he said it to them, behold, when you enter into a city, there shall be a man to meet you there.
Bearing a pitcher of water, follow him into the house where he enters in.
So this is awesome, because he's like, all right, we need to set up a place where we can go do the Passover, right?
And they go, where are we going to do this, right?
Because mind you, they have no homes at this point.
They're just following Jesus everywhere.
Jesus doesn't have a home at all.
Where are we going to do this?
So he says, go into the city, and you're going to meet this man there.
He's going to meet you, I mean.
He's going to be bearing and holding a pitcher of water.
Follow him into the house where he enters.
And you shall say unto the good man of the house, the master says unto thee, where is the guest chamber where I shall eat the Passover with my disciples?
And he shall show you a large upper room furnished, there make ready.
So this guy, you know, makes you wonder too.
This guy holding the pitcher of water, who is he?
Is he an angel from God or something?
You know what I mean?
Because he already knows ahead of time.
Maybe it's a man that God's already set up or gave a vision to, to do this, to meet the apostles there, because there's no phones back then, remember this?
There's no cell phones or anything that they could have called ahead of time and say, hey, my guys are coming.
So this is a spiritual matter, right?
Who's this guy with the picture?
Is it a guy that the Lord's instored visions upon him?
And said, hey, you know, this is gonna happen, prepare a place for my guys?
Or as an angel, as a man, you know?
Disguised as a man, who knows?
But Jesus says there's going to be a man holding a pitcher of water.
When you go into the city, he's going to meet you.
Follow him to the house.
And when you get to the house, there's an upper chamber room that's all well furnished, right?
Guest chamber.
And prepare it, and we can eat to do the Passover, right?
And they went and found, as he said unto them, and they made ready the Passover.
So exactly what Jesus said, it happened.
And when hours had come, when they're sitting down to eat now, they're in the room, the chamber there, and they're eating the Passover.
He sat down and the twelve apostles were with him.
And people would call this the Last Supper.
And that guy's like, please, if you ever see that Da Vinci picture, the Last Supper, yeah, there's a lot of things wrong with that.
Please don't ever have that in your house.
And plus it's a second commandment violation too.
You're not supposed to make any images of heaven at all or holy or anything that's in heaven or the earth like that.
And it's not biblically accurate either way.
There's a lot of cultism in that darn picture.
So this is the Last Supper here, basically.
And he said unto them, With desire I have desire to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.
In other words, before I die.
For I say unto you, I will not anymore eat thereof until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
So this is my last supper, yeah.
And he took the cup and gave thanks and said, take this and divide it among yourselves.
So everybody take a drink of this.
For I say unto you, I will not drink of the food of mine until the kingdom of God shall come.
So this is the last supplement here.
And he took the bread and gave thanks and break it and gave it to them saying, this is my body which is given to you for you.
Do this in remembrance of me.
This is called, you know, we do the communion, right?
Likewise, also the cup after supper saying, this cup is a new testament of my blood, which I shed for you.
But behold, the hand of him that betrays me is with me on this table.
So now he's like, you know, this is describing the communion.
Eat the bread that remembers me and my flesh that I shed for you and the blood I shed for you with the cup of wine, right?
Now you say, Jesus already knows ahead of time, you know, like, who betrayed him.
And he says right out on the table after they're eating and everything, right?
And he says right out, yeah, the person that's going to betray me is right here at this table.
And truly the son of man goes in as it was determined.
But woe unto that man who has betrayed me.
So as it is determined, what does that mean?
The son of man, that's him, as it goes determined.
In other words, from his birth, the purpose of him coming here was for this very moment of him being crucified to shed his blood for us.
The whole purpose of Him being here in the flesh is coming upon us in this time here in the scripture.
But He also says, and you know this is already determined for me before I was born on earth.
And again, I say this, I say this a lot.
For people out there who think that Jesus was just created from Mary.
No, Jesus was always there, long before the earth.
He was the Lord of Spirits.
He was incarnated in the flesh for this purpose.
He didn't just come into existence at this point.
He's always been there long.
That's why he says before Abraham, before David, I am.
Yeah.
He is the light.
That God said, let there be light.
That's Him.
On the earth.
The Spirit on the earth there.
He's the one who talked to prophets thousands of years before he was born in the flesh.
He talked to Enoch, he talked to Joshua, he talked to Moses, and so on.
Because he told his prophets of his coming.
And the prophets laid out the prophecy, right?
And everything the prophets said has come true because he told them that when he was in the spirit.
So I want to point that out.
But an interesting fact that a lot of people don't know.
So, and they begin to inquire among themselves, because Jesus, again, he's at the table, he's like, yeah, we're sitting at the table, one of you guys got to betray me.
He's right at this table.
And they begin to inquire among themselves which of them was to do this thing.
So like, they're all talking, who is it?
It's me, or you, or who's the traitor?
And there was also strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest?
So now it turned into like a little argument, kind of, like, oh, you know, is it you?
You know, don't, you better not betray him, you know, stuff like that, right?
But he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.
But you shall not be so.
But he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger.
And he is the chief, and he also does the service.
So the greatest, because they're arguing, who's greater?
Alright, alright, there's a traitor here, but who's the greatest here?
Who's the best disciple?
I wouldn't betray him, because I'm the best disciple.
I am, I am, you know?
They're all arguing, they're straight from under the table now.
But Jesus said, you know, But he isn't the greatest, you need to be the least.
In other words, you've got to humble yourself, as you're the least.
And if you think you're the chief, you know, act like you're the servant.
Humble yourselves.
And he says, what is greater?
He that sits at me?
Well, he is the servant, so who's greater?
The people sitting at this table eating, or the ones that are serving us?
Is that not none that sits at me, but among you that is a servant?
Yea, which I have continued with me are my temptations.
And I appoint unto you the kingdom as my father pointed unto me.
So he's saying, like, yeah, Be humble, right?
And the Father's appointed the kingdom of God to me and I pointed out to you guys.
And now people say, well, I thought Jesus didn't get tempted.
No, He didn't have temptations.
No, that's not what He's talking about.
He never did anything.
Jesus never sinned.
That's something that's totally different.
Like when Satan tried to tempt Him, If you follow me, I'll give you the kingdom of the earth here.
And he says, for it's written, I shall not tempt the Lord thy God.
So anyway, that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom.
And sit on the thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
So he's saying, don't worry guys, none of you are greater.
Be humble and all that stuff, right?
And he said to, and he said, Lord, I'm sorry, Jesus said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat.
So he's saying Satan wants you.
I have prayed for thee, and thy faith hath failed not, and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
So Satan wanted Simon, which is Peter.
He ended up getting Judas, but he wanted Simon.
And Jesus stopped that from happening.
So he's like, yeah, I'm ready to go with you.
I'm ready to die with you, right?
And he said, well, I tell you this, Peter, the cock, which is a rooster, right?
We show crow this day, right?
Before the end of the day, the cock crowed three times.
That you deny me.
You gotta deny me.
So he's basically saying here, you've got to deny me three times before the cock was at the end of the day here.
So, and he said to him, and when I sent you without a purse or script or shoes or locked anything, you said, they said nothing, right?
So, remember he sent his apostles out to cities, said, don't take nothing, don't take no purses, no money, no food, no nothing, just go.
God will provide for you, and he did, right?
He said the same thing again.
Then he sent it to him, but now, He that has a purse, let him take it, and likewise a script.
And has no sword, let him also take his garment and buy one.
Sell his garment and buy one.
So he said, if you don't have a sword, just sell your garment to buy one.
For I say unto you, that this is written must be yet accomplished in me.
And he was reckoned among the transgressors, which the things concerning me to have in them.
So this is like basically his final dinner with the apostles.
And he's telling them, like, alright, why don't you guys betray me?
And Matthew gets into more details about this.
I think it's Matthew 25 or 26.
In verse 38 it says, and they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords.
He said unto them, is it enough?
And he came out and went and as he walked to the Mount of Olives and his disciples followed him.
So after the Passover dinner, he left the house there and went up to the Mount of Olives, right?
And the apostles followed him.
And when he was at the place, he said to them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
So don't be tempted guys, please.
That's what he said.
And when he was withdrawn from them about stones cast, he kneeled down and prayed.
So, in the distance.
You gotta remember, this is Old English, y'all.
So, sometimes it's hard to read and understand.
But you just take your time and you'll understand it.
But, a stone throws away, that's what it is.
In other words, he was up in the little head of the earth.
You know what they say, you know what I'm saying?
There are stones thrown away, which is not far.
It's like, up a ways a little, you know?
So he walked away from the apostles, up a way a little bit, and kneeled down to pray.
Saying, Father, if thou by will and remove this cup from me, nevertheless not my will, but thine will be done.
So in other words, it's time, you know, your will be done.
Because he knows it's time for him to be caught into captivity and crucified.
And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
Because Jesus knows this is it.
So this angel appears out of heaven and gives him strength.
And being in agony, he prayed more earnestly.
And his sweat was as there was great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
And when he rose up from prayer, as was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow.
And he said to them, why you sleep?
Rise and pray.
Please enter the temptation.
And while he spoke, behold, a multitude that was called Judas, one of the twelve went before them and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.
And Jesus said to him, Judas betrayeth no son of man with a kiss.
So he knew Judas was the one who betrayed him.
So when they which were learned about Saul, I'm sorry, which were about him, saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?
Thank you.
So the people, Judas, which is to say, right?
I know it's a little hard to understand Luke, but it's more detailed than Matthew and Mark.
So what he's saying here is, right?
Judas betrayed Jesus, led them to troops, That I was gonna go arrest Jesus?
Led them to where they were.
So, Peter takes out a sword and smites one of the guys there.
And right there.
And one of them smoked the servant of the highest priest and cut it off his right ear.
So, there's our Peter ready to defend Jesus.
He takes out a sword, he's ready to go to war with these people to defend Jesus, right?
And Jesus stands and said, suffer this and I'll follow.
And he touched his ear and it healed him.
So basically, again, Matthew and Mark explain this better.
Jesus said, put your sword away.
Told Peter, put your sword away.
So, enough, you know, because I'm meant to go here.
I mean, I'm meant to be captain.
Put your sword away.
And he said, because the thing is, he knew if Peter gets overwhelmed or not.
So, they would eventually kill him.
But he said, put your sword away before you get killed here.
And there was a point too when they said, well, if we do this, you guys go escape and we'll hold them off or something, right?
And he goes, no, we'll do no such thing.
So he went over to the guy, he touched his ear and healed him.
And the ear was fixed, you know, you just got to cut it off and it was fixed, right?
And Jesus said unto the chief priests and the captains of the temple and the elders, which were to come to him, Because mind you, there was a military force, the priest, the captains and everything else went to arrest him.
Judas led him there.
And Jesus told him, Be ye come out against a thief with swords and staves.
So you come out against a thief with swords and staves.
When I was daily with you in the temple.
So why you come at me now?
You come with all this army and all that, but when I was with you daily in the temple, you stressed forth not your hands against me.
But this is your hour and power of darkness.
So he's saying that his basis just doesn't make sense, you know?
You come at me now, right?
With all this stuff going on, right?
But I was with you every day.
I was at the temple.
Why didn't you do it then?
Anyway, they took him and led him and brought him into the high priest's house and Peter followed him far off.
So Peter was like sneaking behind without being spotted, right?
And remember what Jesus said before this happened, right?
He said Peter's gonna deny Him three times.
Before the croc... the crow... whatever, the cock crowed three times that day, Peter would've already denied Him three times, right?
So, they captured Jesus, arrested Him, right?
Bring Him to the chief's house, to the priest's house.
Peter's like, in the distance, just following along, just watching, observing what's going on, right?
And when they had kindled the fire in the midst of the hall, they were sat down together, and Peter sat among them.
So, there was a group of people.
Watch what's going on.
Now, there's probably the court going on, right?
To decide what they're going to do to Jesus, right?
So, within the crowd of people, Peter's sitting among them.
So, one of the maids beheld him as he sat by the fire.
In other words, she recognized Peter.
And as soon as she looked upon him and said, hmm, you know, just looking upon him, this man looks familiar.
And she goes, this man was also with him because she recognized Peter as one of the apostles.
So Peter's like, oh, you know, he's like, oh crap.
So he denied him.
Him saying, oh woman, you don't know, I know him not, I don't know him.
So that's the first time he denied Jesus, right?
And after a little while, another person saw him and said, Deloitte is also with them.
And Peter, you know, they recognized Peter as, another person recognized Peter as being an apostle.
And Peter said, no, I'm not with him.
I don't know him.
So that's the second time he denied him, right?
Because Peter's nervous right now.
He's trying to hold up that, not that there's an excuse, but he's trying to observe and not be spotted because he knows they would kill him too.
So in about a space of an hour or so, another, you know, later on, the same, Another person confidently affirmed, saying, of truth of the fellow with this hymn, for he is a Galilean.
So, somebody came out and said, yeah, this is, spotted Peter right away, this is a follower of Jesus, right here, this is his apostle.
And Peter said, I know not what thou sayest, I don't know what you talk about.
And immediately while he spoke, the cock ruled.
So the croc, I'm sorry guys, I messed up.
The cock didn't crow three times.
When the cock crows, before the cock crows, he denies it three times.
But anyway, Peter, right away, somebody confidently said, well, knows for sure, right here, this guy knew for sure that Peter was the apostle of Jesus, right?
Knew for sure.
Spotted him out.
And Peter said, no, no, no, I don't know what you're talking about.
And as soon as he said that, Immediately when he spoke this, right?
Denying Jesus for the third time, right away the cock crowed.
And the Lord turned and looked upon Peter.
So, remember he's in the same Paul as Peter, right?
Jesus, I mean, right?
So, the third time he denied Jesus, right?
The cock crowed.
Then Jesus turned and looked at Peter.
And Peter remembered the words from the Lord.
And now he said then to him, before the cock crows three times, you're going to, I'm sorry, before the cock crows, you're going to deny me three times.
So the third time, Razzy denied Jesus, right?
Then Jesus looked right at him across the hall and Peter automatically, oh my God, I just, I just denied him three times.
And Peter just left the place weeping bitterly.
Just ran out in disgust of himself.
You know what I mean?
Because he just denied Jesus.
And the men that held Jesus mocked him and smote him.
Which they mocked him, beat him up, spit at him and all that horrible stuff.
And when they had blindfolded him, They blindfolded Jesus, they struck him in the face, and asked him, saying, prophesize, who is that that smote him, that mocked him?
So they blindfolded him and punched him in the face or something.
Oh, which one of us, use your prophecy, which one of us is the one that hit you in the face?
And many other things, they blasphemed, spoke against him.
And as soon as it was a day, the elders and the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together and led him to the council and said, If thou art the Christ, tell us.
If you are the Messiah, tell us.
And he said unto them, I tell you and you will not believe.
And if I also ask you, you will not answer me, nor let me go.
So it doesn't matter what I tell you, you're not going to believe me.
So that's it.
Are you the Christ?
Are you the Messiah?
He's saying, it doesn't matter what I can say, you're not going to believe it.
And he goes, Hereafter shall the Son of Man sit at the right hand of God, of the power of God.
He says, I'm going to sit at the right hand of God, The power of God.
And they said, they then said all, they all, so all the scribes and priests and all that.
Aren't you the Son of God?
And he said it to them, yes, that I am.
So it's the first time that Jesus answered directly and said, yeah, I am.
And they asked him, are you the Son of God?
Because he says, the Son of God sits at the right hand of the power of God, right?
He goes, it doesn't matter what I answer you, you know.
You're not going to believe me anyway.
And they said, you know what?
And they said, I'm going to say that the Son of Man sits at the right hand of the power of God, right?
Then they said, are you the Son of Man?
The Son of God?
He goes, yes, I am.
And they said, what we need any further witness for ourselves, we have heard of His own mouth.
So that's what they needed.
Because to them that was blasphemy.
Because they denied Him being the Messiah.
Even though they didn't take heed to the prophecies of Moses, whatever the case, then they deny him being a Messiah.
So they use that right there to like, this is the evidence we need.
Now we got the evidence to convict him.
And it goes on to chapter 23, which we're going to get to soon.
And so this is the court now, basically.
Homo to them rose and led them to Pilate.
So Pontius Pilate, And we get to what happens after this, okay?
So, right here in chapter 22, they finally got something on him.
Which, Jesus ain't lying.
He is the Son of God.
But to them, it's blasphemy.
So that's what they needed.
To have a case against him.
To go before Pontius Pilate.
to kill him.
So yeah, guys, thank you for joining us in this chapter because this is very important to know Even though he's risen from the cross and everything else, amen, but this is what he went through.
And the thing is, he had to fulfill a mission first, before he left the earth.
And during this time, Satan was using people to go against him, to try to get him killed ahead of time.
But again, God's plan comes true.
And at the last chapter we discussed, like, he gave the signs of his return.
And they're all happening right now, guys.
If you missed chapter 22, 21, I'm sorry, go watch it.
Because they're all happening now.
And he's telling them, now is the point right before his crucifixion.
And I know it's horrible stuff, but you know what?
It was, this had to be done.
He was the final land sacrifice.
To, for atonement for our sins.
But He is risen from the dead, He is alive, and He's coming back for us.

So, thank you for tuning in to this chapter.
I can't wait to get to chapter 23.
So, trust the plan, the only plan that's the Bible, guys.
And don't take my word or anybody else's word for it.
Read it for yourselves.
And if you've got any questions, comments, concerns, or anything at all, go into the comment section and put it there for me and I'll get to you.
And if you're watching the premiere, there's a live chat going on.
And if you want to hang out a little bit longer, just right before the video ends, hit the pause button and you'll be able to stay in the chat a little longer.
But if you've got any concerns or comments, whatever, go into the regular comment section and put it there.
