- - If you're receiving this transmission, you are the resistance.
Declaring war on the New World Order.
truth radio show dot com shalom and welcome to the damn body show truth radio show dot com and we are going to do an in-depth comprehensive study of the book of luke If you missed the books Matthew and Mark, we got them in our playlist guys, chapter by chapter.
We don't just read over it, we study it in comprehensive study and in-depth.
So welcome to the Dan Bedany show.
And also guys, before we get started, we would like to promote this.
This is a specific Bible study approach that we'd like to go by.
Number one, we encourage you to pray for wisdom and understanding.
And let's do that right now.
So bow our heads and Yeshua Messiah Jesus, we pray to you that you forgive us for our sins and our transgressions and trespasses.
Make us whole before the Father.
Father, we come before your throne.
I ask you to help us understand and absorb your information in the book of Luke today, chapter 1, that you may descend the Holy Spirit upon us to teach us your divine word and wisdom.
In your mighty name we pray, Amen.
So guys, when we do that, we also read the scripture in its context.
We don't take single verses out of context, like unfortunately a lot of false ministries do.
We read them in the context.
And context is key.
Remember that.
So let the scripture interpret scripture.
Let the Holy Spirit work within you.
So let's just begin, guys.
And so we are on the book of Luke, chapter 1.
And if you've got a Bible out there, guys, I encourage you to actually open the Bible up, even though you can see it on screen.
And this is also carried on ShakenWakeRadio.com.
Thank you, Annie on Shaken Wake, for carrying this audio edition.
So if you listen to the audio, guys, I encourage you, please.
I recommend that you open up your own Bible.
I prefer the King James, the Geneva, or something older.
Nothing past the King James.
Where my cutoff is, is the New King James and up.
To the newest one, I don't read any of those because they purposely, you know, the authors purposely switch words around, they jumble words, remove entire verses and words, and remove key important words, keywords.
So, that's very important guys, because we need to understand these things, and we can't use a lukewarm or a diluted doctrine.
So regardless, we've got a Bible opening up, Luke chapter 1, and we do get it on screen if you're watching on the video edition.
So, let's begin here.
so for us so much as many have taken in the hand to set forth an order to the declaration of these things which are mostly truly believed among us so Luke another witness of Jesus yeah even as they delivered them unto us which was from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the world so we talk about the prophets you know long before Jesus came Moses Elijah Jeremiah and so on
So, and it seemed good to me, also, having a perfect understanding of all things, the very first to write unto the order, write unto the order, most excellent theophiluses.
So, Luke, you know, he was very well educated, basically, in the scripture.
And at the time was the Old Testament books, you know what I mean?
Like the Torah and whatnot.
So, and also the teachings of Jesus Christ.
So, he goes on in the rest of the verses.
So, there was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, and of course, of Abia.
Of course, Abia.
And his wife was the daughter of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.
And they were both righteous before God, walking in the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
So, we do a lot of teachings on our spiritual warfare shows, and all other shows and reports and videos we do on truthradioshow.com.
So, this year, and because I know that modern-day dispensationalist churches, they like to frown upon the Ten Commandments, and tell people the Ten Commandments don't apply to us.
You know, that's literally a smack in the face of the Lord.
Yeah, they most certainly do apply to you.
And if you want to see what I show, just go to truthinradioshow.com.
We got tons of information on that.
Proving what the Bible says, as we read, we showed you in Matthew, Mark, that the Ten Commandments do apply to you.
If you call yourself a follower of Jesus Christ, Jesus followed the commandments.
He had his two commandments, yes, the two great commandments, which was the coat hanger of the Ten Commandments.
So right here, Luke's talking about how they walked and, you know, King Herod and all that.
They walked, they were both righteous before God, walking in the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
So, you got people out there, well, Paul says that the commandments were nailed to the cross and blotted out.
No, Paul said they were, the ordinances were.
So there's a difference between commandments and ordinances.
Ordinances are the penalties.
They were nailed to the cross and blotted out, not the commandments.
Big difference.
So anyway, verse 7, and they had no child because that Elizabeth was barren, and they were both now stricken in the years.
So in other words, she couldn't have kids.
They were getting up there in age, and Elizabeth couldn't have kids.
And this is bringing up New Testament stuff.
Now, I'm going to point this out once again, if you watched my other videos on Matthew and Mark, all the chapters, this is going to sound redundant to you, but I have to keep pointing this out.
Now, the modern day churches, they don't really emphasize the Old Testament no more.
They always say, you know, modern day pastors, don't just read the New Testament, that's Matthew through Revelation, and keep repeating that.
Well, no.
You need to read Genesis through Revelation.
Because the thing is, how many times has Jesus said, before it is written, recite in the Torah and the Old Testament?
And this is here, Luke talking about the Old Testament, right?
So, how are you gonna, you can't understand or begin to understand or comprehend the New Testament unless you know the Old Testament.
How are you going to know what Jesus is talking about?
How are you going to know what Luke is talking about here?
You're not.
So this is talking about Elizabeth that was barren.
She was old and they really couldn't have kids.
So it came to pass that while he executed the priest's office before God in order of his course.
And according to the custom of the priest's office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord.
And the whole multitude of the people were praying without any time of incense.
And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.
So imagine that you're Zacharias, right?
And you see this angel appearing on the altar in the temple.
That's going to startle anybody, right?
And you're going to be like, whoa!
You know, it's probably going to scare you.
Because not every day you see this supernatural being, you know what I mean?
It's going to scare anybody.
And he's troubled because he's like, what the heck is going on?
Why is this angel here?
You know what I mean?
So anyway, But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias, for thy prayer is heard.
And thy wife Elizabeth shall bear thee a son, and thy shall call his name John.
So y'all know John the Baptist, yeah, how important he was, right?
So, this is a servant of the Lord, and again, this is bringing up Old Testament, Luke, right?
So, Zacharias and his wife Elizabeth, they couldn't have kids.
They were getting up there in age, and just, she was barren, she couldn't have kids, right?
And he was just troubled, how am I gonna carry on my name, and family, and everything else, you know what I mean?
But he served the Lord, and he was at the altar one day, and an angel appeared to him, and told him, Fear not, Zacharias.
Don't be afraid, get up.
Your prayer is heard.
Because he kept praying, they kept praying to God for a child.
And the angel said, your wife Elizabeth shall be our son, and you shall call him John.
And thou shalt have joy and gladness, and many shall rejoice at his birth.
So imagine that you couldn't have kids all your life, whatever the case, you wanted to have a kid and now the angel's telling you you gotta have a child and be joyful, rejoice.
So this is John the Baptist, guys.
As Jesus talked about how great John the Baptist was, right?
Drink neither wine or strong drink, and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.
So this is John the Baptist, guys.
As Jesus talked about how great John the Baptist was, right?
John the Baptist was the premier person at the time, spiritually.
Then he said, there's someone greater coming than me.
You know, I'm sorry, there's someone greater than me that's coming.
And that was Jesus Christ.
John the Baptist baptized people.
Even Jesus.
As we learn in the next book, in the book of John.
So, and many of the children of Israel showed he turned the Lord their God.
So, and that's exactly what he did.
And when we get to the book of John, you'll see all the stuff he's done.
Baptizing people in the name of the Holy Spirit.
Now, this is an angel telling Zacharias, hey, your son is going to be great in the Lord.
Not, you know, that he's great himself.
Some kind of a god or something.
No, that's not what he's saying.
He's going to be great for the Lord.
In the sight of the Lord.
For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord.
It is, he's not going to drink strong drink or anything like that.
He's going to be full with the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.
So even before John the Baptist was even born, he was already designated to be a great person for the Lord.
That's amazing.
So when you think about that, you know what I mean?
What, you know, even before you were born, what purpose has God made for you?
This is such an amazing thing to think about that.
He's already designated John to be a great man for the Lord, even before he was born.
And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.
He converted a lot of people.
And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias.
To turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just.
To make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
Prepared for the Lord, right?
The Messiah?
That's exactly what John did, as you read in the last chapters, right?
John the Baptist, again, he was baptizing people in the name of the Lord and the Holy Spirit, right?
Telling people the coming of the Messiah, the coming of Jesus.
He even said, he's going to be greater than I. And he had the privilege to actually baptize Jesus.
And this is all written by Elias, the prophet, too, you know?
So, and Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this?
For I am an old man, and my wife well stricken, and yes.
And the angel answered unto him, saying, I am Gabriel.
That's amazing, the angel Gabriel.
Yeah, that'd be... I would be so astonished and happy if I ever seen the angel Gabriel, you know?
So, and the angel answering him said, I am Gabriel.
The stand in the presence of God, and I am sent to speak unto thee, and show these glad tidings.
Now, I want to point this out, guys.
It's a little bit off topic, okay?
So, because there's a big thing going on right now.
I mean, the media, even the news is actually covering this.
Fox News even had something about this, right?
Talking about angel numbers.
That people seeing like 555-111-777, you know, number sequences like that, and being, you know, they're saying it's communications from angels.
You take the number, use gematria or some numerology to decode what the angel's trying to tell you, right?
I want to, right now, okay guys, I want to really warn you about that.
That is not angels of God.
Those are called New Age Angels.
They're either fallen angels, or demonic spirits, or the Bible calls them familiar spirits.
They are not to be taken seriously, guys.
In a sense, to follow them.
Avoid those, and rebuke them in the name of the Lord.
Because they are not of God.
Now, I want to point out this, because the reason why I'm doing this for, right?
Any time, through the entire Bible, any time that an angel of the Lord came, right?
And most of the time, actually every time, when the angel of the Lord appeared before somebody, right?
That person dropped to their knees to worship them.
Angel right away told them not to be afraid or don't, you know, get off your knees.
I'm just a messenger from God.
An angel of God is not going to give you a bunch of codes.
I gotta do a show on this.
But an angel of God is not going to give you a bunch of codes, or scents in the house.
You know, different scents.
You gotta burn sages and all that.
That's not how this works.
Those are demonic spirits.
Plain and simple.
An angel of the Lord appears to you, straight up, and tells you exactly that, like Abe Gabriel, right?
That he's the messenger from the Lord.
He says that, uh, stand in the presence of God, and I am sent to speak unto thee, and show thee these glad tidings.
The angel of God, right, will tell you straight up, listen, don't worship me, I'm just a messenger.
That's what an angel of God would tell you to do, right?
And announce that he is from the Lord.
And an angel, you could actually challenge him, right?
You could say, in the name of Jesus, you need to tell me if you're an angel of God, right?
And lying, deceiving spirits are not going to lie.
They can't.
Because of the spiritual power of, you know, summoning Jesus.
An angel of God, they're going to stand right there and say, yes, I am of the Lord sent me.
You could test these spirits, guys.
The Bible says, test every spirit.
So don't be deceived by these fallen angels, or these unclean spirits, or familiar spirits.
Don't be deceived by them.
This is very important to know.
Sorry, maybe a little off topic, but I have to tell you this, and I have to point this out, because every time, when we go through the whole Bible here, guys, you're gonna see time and time again, every time an angel of God appeared before somebody, they have announced that they have come in the name of the Lord, they got to the point, they didn't give them numbers and codes to figure out.
They told him straight up what the message was, and they're a messenger from God.
Fallen angels don't do that.
And if you even suspect anything like that to be evil, all you have to do is challenge the name of the Lord, and evil spirits will flee from it.
A good spirit from God will tell you, yes, thank you for challenging me, but I'm the Lord, plain and simple.
This is spiritual warfare.
So, verse 20.
So, what's going on here?
And in this, again, the book of Luke is starting right off, bringing up Old Testament stuff.
You know, before John's coming, right?
O believeth not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their seasons.
So, what's going on here?
And in this, again, the book of Luke is bringing, starting right off, bringing up the Old Testament stuff.
You know, before John's coming, right?
So, John's parents.
And there's a reason for this, right?
Because the next book is the book of John.
So yeah, there's a reason for this.
So anyway, and John and Luke both are apostles of Jesus.
So you got the angel Gabriel telling Zacharias, the father of John, what's gonna happen, right?
And the father's saying, look, I'm old and I don't think we can have kids.
So the angel's saying, well, because you want to be dumb, and not be able to speak until, you know, you want to be dumb about this and not believe, You're not able to speak until the day of these things shall be performed, because thou does not believe my words, and shall be fulfilled with their seasons.
So angels told him, write out, because you don't believe, you're going to be dumb, and neither will speak.
And the people waited for Zacharias, and marveled that he tarried so long in the temple.
And when he came out, he could not speak unto them.
And they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple, for he beckoned unto them, and remained speechless.
Because he didn't believe the angel, right?
The angel told him, we're going to take you... We're going to make you dumb.
And you're not going to be able to speak, because he didn't believe me.
All things are possible through God.
So imagine, I don't know even how old this guy was.
He was up there, alright?
And basically, in today's world, you could never have a baby that old.
But however, anything's possible through God.
Him and his wife were up there, you know what I mean?
Because he didn't believe the angel, even though the angel appeared to him.
He didn't believe it.
He probably passed off as this for real.
Even though they wanted a child, you know, but yeah.
So it's hard for him to believe it.
And the angel said, well, because of that, we're going to restrict you of speech and make you dumb until the child's born.
So, and it came to pass that as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house.
And after those days his wife Elizabeth conceived and hid herself five months saying, Thus has the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked to me to take away my reproach among men.
And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto the city of Galilee named Nazareth.
And a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph in the house of David and the virgin's name was Mary.
So just like the book of Matthew, it gets into Mary as well, in the beginning of the first chapter.
So basically he's talking about Zacharias, the father of John.
Now what this is doing, right?
The first chapter here of Luke, it's pointing out the birth of John the Baptist, right?
And the birth of Mary.
Two very important key figures in the New Testament.
So once again, let's talk about the Virgin Mary.
And she was a spouse to a man named Joseph of the house of David.
So they had the lineage bloodline back to David and Adam.
So an angel came unto her and said, So now I want to point this out too, right?
Lord is with thee, bless our among women.
So now I want to point this out too, right?
And Gabriel, that's amazing.
Gabriel not only appeared to Zacharias to talk about the coming of John the Baptist, right?
He also appeared to Joseph To talk about, yeah, in the Book of Matthew gets more details because Joseph was ready to put it her way.
In other words, because they, you know, they were married.
I mean, yeah, they, they, he wasn't married yet.
They were ready to be married and she was pregnant.
So at the time, if you're marrying a pregnant woman, there's some issues, right?
So he was ready to just say, see you later.
I don't want nothing to do with this.
Because that's a crime back then, you know what I mean?
So the angel told, Angel Gabriel said, no, don't worry about it, Joseph.
That's the seed of the Holy Spirit.
Take her as a wife, which he did.
Now I want to point out, Joseph did not have marital sexual affairs with his wife until after, as Matthew chapter 1 says, Mary knew her husband not until after Jesus was born.
So yes, Mary was a virgin, she got pregnant as a virgin from the Holy Spirit, and she conceived Jesus being a virgin, right?
But later on, like rightfully so, the Bible says, she was able to have sex with her husband.
That's where Jesus had all the brothers and sisters.
Even though Joseph already had some kids from when he was a widower.
So, contrary to what Catholic beliefs are.
So, an angel came up to her and said, now here's the thing.
Especially the Catholic Church and these Mexican churches and all that, they like to venerate Mary as something that she's not.
Now, yes, she's a blessed mother, right?
We all love and respect her, absolutely.
And I am not in any way disrespecting the woman.
God bless her, but she is not a co-redemptress.
She is not to be worshipped or prayed to.
The Bible makes that clear.
Then they say, well, she's our intercessor.
She helps us.
She prays for us.
She helps intercess for us.
No!
As we're going to show you in the scriptures, I mean, the Bible makes it clear that Jesus is the only intercessor between man and God.
That's it!
Not angels.
Not saints, okay?
Not dead people relatives.
Not Mary.
As we showed you in the Book of Matthew, go back and watch the Matthew series.
It's a clear cut.
Because Mother Goddess worship goes back to Paganism.
That's where they get that from, the Catholic Church.
Because the Catholic Church, the Church of Rome, was Pagan for thousands of years.
And Constantine so-called converted to Christianity, which was a joke.
He kept the same Pagan things and painted a Christian coat of paint over it to disguise it.
To hijack both movements.
In fact, Biblical Christianity, they always oppose the Catholic Church because of this stuff.
So when the angel says, Hail Mary, it's not hailing her, it's like worshiping her.
Hailing, like when you, when, um, in the courts or whatever, they say, Oh hail, King Arthur.
Oh hail.
In other words, everybody stop and pay attention.
Or, hello.
They're hailing the, I mean, um, the angels here are hailing Mary.
Say hello, Mary.
Calling upon her.
That's what that means.
And yes, she was highly favored.
Because one, she was pure before the Lord.
Two, she was from that bloodline of David.
And she is the blessed mother.
Absolutely.
Now, I want to point out to Mary.
So now, why was God chosen Mary?
Because if you go back to the God of Eden, You'll see that Satan, right, from that day, tried to stop this from ever happening.
So what they did in Genesis 6, we're gonna get to that later on, okay?
Much later in these biblical series.
Genesis 6, they tried to... His fallen angels tried to cut off the bloodline of Adam, so Mary could never be born in the future.
But the fallen angels having sexual relations with the woman on the earth, the sons of Adam, the daughters of Adam, sorry, having children called the Nephilim, to try to cut off that bloodline, to pollute it.
But God flooded the earth to stop that.
To preserve that bloodline of Adam.
Through David, and through Mary, and through Jesus.
The same lineage that when John came from too.
We've done tons of shows on this stuff.
So this is stuff you don't want in churches.
This is biblical stuff guys.
Spiritual Warfare 101.
So again, an angel came up to her and said, Hail, thou art highly favored.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women.
Because she was blessed among women.
Because she was pure with the Lord.
Pure, you know, sanctified.
She was like, untouched, you know what I mean?
And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
She was just puzzled.
What the heck?
An angel said to her, Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found favor with God.
Wow, imagine that?
And if you're... I couldn't even imagine that because I'm not a lady.
But you ladies out there, could you only imagine that?
That an angel of the Lord come to you and say, Hey, listen, you have found favor with the Lord.
You ought to be the host of the Savior, the promised Messiah that's been prophesied for thousands of years.
You are going to host that child.
Because you want to imagine what she felt like.
She already knew about the prophecy of the Messiah and all that.
Because she was like, you know, she like loved the Lord and all that, right?
So they all knew about when will the Messiah come.
Imagine if, you know, being said, yeah, you're the Messiah's mother.
I don't even know how... Someday when we get to meet Mary someday in the kingdom of God, I just want to ask her that.
What did you feel like when you were told you got to be the promised one's mother?
Earthly mother.
To manifest in the flesh.
Now my Jesus from day one in Genesis, he was already here.
He's always been here.
He's the spirit that visited Moses, Joshua, Elias, Enoch, the good one, all the prophets before he's been brought into the flesh.
He manifested.
Jesus didn't come into creation through Mary.
He's always been here.
He just manifested in the flesh through Mary.
Because a lot of people think that Jesus just, you know, just came into existence through Mary.
That's not the case, you know?
And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.
And he will be Yeshua, or Yahushua, depends on how you want to pronounce it.
And he shall be great.
And shall be called the Son of the Highest.
And the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David.
Talking about now David lived thousands of years before Mary.
The bloodline.
Because David carried on the bloodline of the Seths.
You know, Adam through Seth.
Through Noah, through David.
David was one of the greatest kings of Israel.
Now to her, to her son.
And he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever.
And of his kingdom shall be no end.
This is the Messiah, guys.
Then Mary said unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
See, right here, because when Matthew chapter 1, right, says she knew not her husband until after Jesus' birth.
Uh, the Catholics are trying to make excuses.
Oh, that doesn't mean that she had sex.
That's nothing to do with sex.
Yes, it is.
Obviously, she knew Joseph, right?
She knew who he was, okay?
Because I said she didn't know who he was.
She knew who he was before she married him, right?
Obviously, you have to know somebody to... Uh, he didn't even have a license to even talk to him, right?
But the Bible says she had...
You know, she kept her virginity until after, after the birth of Jesus, with her husband, and rightfully so.
Nothing wrong with that, right?
And Mary said to the angel, How is this possible, seeing I know not a man?
Right here, proving what that means.
I've never been with a man sexually.
I'm not even married.
Not to point out that she was just getting married, you know, against Joseph.
She goes, I've never even, she's a virgin.
And the angel answered unto her, saying, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee.
In other words, the Holy Ghost is going to come upon you and implant the seed of God in you.
So, the angel again says, The angel answered unto her, saying, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the highest shall overshadow thee.
Therefore also the Holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Now mind you guys, Jesus is the only begotten son of God.
Yes, God's had many children.
Angels, fallen angels, whatever the case, that's the only sons, right?
Jesus is the only begotten.
In other words, the only one born in flesh.
I just want to point that out because a lot of people say, oh, it's a contradiction.
It's not a contradiction.
You gotta actually read it.
Begotten, you know?
So anyway, And behold, thy cousin Elizabeth, she also conceived a son in her old age.
So here's the thing, Mary and Elizabeth are cousins.
Zacharias and Joseph.
Zacharias couldn't have kids because he was old, right?
Joseph didn't touch her because they weren't married.
So we got two people pregnant, yeah?
Elizabeth and Mary.
Pregnant and out of America.
And both of them got visited by the angel Gabriel.
And this is the sixth month with her, who was called Baruch.
And for with God, nothing shall be impossible, like we said earlier, right?
You think having a baby at this age is impossible, right?
Not when God's not.
You could be 105 years old right now, because if God wants you to have a kid, guess what?
You're gonna get pregnant and you'll have a kid.
So, and Mary said, Behold, the handmaid of the Lord, be unto me according to thy word.
And the angel departed from her.
And she's like, yeah, I accept this, this is awesome, you know what I mean?
And it's according to the word, because she knew the scripture.
And yeah, she was probably overwhelmed.
Like, wow, I'm going to birth the Messiah?
You know what I mean?
I couldn't even imagine that.
I couldn't.
And Mary rose in those days and went into the hill country with her house into the city of Judah.
And entered into the house of Zacharias and saluted Elizabeth, her cousin, right?
Now mind you, both Mary and Elizabeth are both pregnant at the same time.
And it came to pass when Elizabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb.
This is amazing.
This is out of, I can't even describe a word, right?
And again, it came to pass when Elizabeth heard the salutation of Mary, that she was pregnant, right?
She heard the news that the baby in her womb was filled with the Could you understand the spiritual significance of this?
that very second Elizabeth was told that hey your cousin Mary is pregnant the baby in her womb leaped and Elizabeth was overcome by the Holy Ghost this is amazing stuff because you understand the spiritual significance this is amazing and again both angels told Mary and Elizabeth you're going to have children *laughs* Well, Zacharias said, you're always going to have a child.
And John's going to be a great in the Lord.
John the Baptist.
And right after him is going to be Jesus.
The Messiah.
And she spake out with a loud voice, saying, Blessed thou art among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
That's awesome, man.
And she said, bless your fruit, your womb, your baby in you.
Bless it.
Because it's the Messiah.
And bless her because she's blessed among women.
She was chosen.
Out of all the women at the time, she was chosen, Mary, to host the Messiah.
And look at Elizabeth.
She was chosen to host John the Baptist.
The last great one before Jesus.
And I want to point out today, too, because I know a lot of religions out there, saying, um... I'm sorry, um... Muhammad, like the... Just try again.
Hang on, guys.
Yeah, Muhammad, from Islam, right?
He was prophesied by Jesus coming.
Or Joseph Smith, by the Mormons.
He was prophesied by Jesus coming.
Now, there's no great prophet after Jesus.
John the Baptist was the last one.
Jesus was the Messiah.
There was no great prophet after them.
That was it.
After the Messiah came, the whole game changed.
So Joseph Smith and Muhammad was not by God.
Nor any other religion's prophets.
When Jesus came, you've got to believe God by faith.
That's it.
There's going to be no more great ones coming.
And he said, the only one that's going to replace me is the Holy Spirit to teach men.
That's why we pray to the Holy Spirit to teach us.
There's going to be no more miracles happening, people coming and healing the blind and all that after Jesus.
Jesus was that.
He fulfilled that.
That's it.
So if any religion out there, and I don't follow any religion, if any religion out there tells you they're anything different, you need to, uh, you know, rebuke them in the name of the Lord.
And show them what the scripture has to say.
So, you know, we got Elizabeth saying, and she spoke out with a loud voice saying, Bless thou thou among women.
Bless is the fruit of thy womb.
And whence it is to me that the mother of my Lord should come to me.
So she was excited, like, my cousin is the mother of our Lord, the mother of us, Messiah!
Wow, you know?
And she's just ecstatic, you know?
And for lo, as soon as the voice of the salutation sounded in my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy.
So John the Baptist is in Elizabeth's womb, right?
His mother, right?
Jumping for joy in a womb?
So she's like talking about this.
The Holy Spirit's moving through her.
That's amazing.
It really is.
And Mary said, My soul does magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior.
And this is Mary and Elizabeth just, you know, I couldn't even imagine how glorified they are.
How great they felt.
We got John the Baptist and Jesus, you know, and that's amazing.
So, for he hath regarded the lowest state of his handmaid.
For behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
And she is blessed.
She's the blessed mother.
Nobody's ever, ever going to argue that point.
And my point is that she's not to be prayed to because she can't hear you nor help you.
You know what I mean?
And there's no disrespect to her.
And no, she did not die a virgin, guys.
She had sexual relations with her husband.
The Bible says that.
And rightfully so.
It's her husband.
It's perfectly beautiful in the eyes of God to do that.
But she was a virgin until after Jesus was born.
So I want to point that out.
For our Catholic brothers and sisters.
I used to be a Catholic too, and yeah.
And their stuff is not backed by the Bible.
Verse 49, for he that is mighty has done to me great things, and holy is his name.
And his mercy is upon them that fear from generation to generation.
And so again, I want to point this out in other chapters, like during our series there.
And mercy is upon them that fear him.
Now, in the sense of fear him, right?
It's like, I have to point this out, what that means.
It doesn't mean you're terrifying a God.
It's like you're a regular father, your earthly father.
Remember when you were a kid?
When you were with him, you felt so secure and safe.
But if you say you did something purposely wrong, you were afraid for your life.
Of him whipping that bell off his...
Or from his pants and whipping you.
You know what I mean?
You were afraid for your life because you knew if you cross your father, yeah, that's not a good thing.
This is the same thing.
We fear him in that way.
We love him, yeah, love is more than fair, yes.
But you fear him, in other words, you fear him that, yeah, we need to obey him.
Same thing with your earthly father, right?
So, in his mercies on them that fear him from generation to generation.
All the way to this generation.
And he has shown strength with his arms, and he has scattered the proud and imagination of their hearts.
And he has put down the mighty from their seats and exalted them in low degree.
Talking about how great God is.
Scattered the proud and imagination of their hearts, right?
And he put down the money from their seats and exalted them to a low degree.
So in other words, all these people that came along that would think they were gods or better than God, God put them down to put their servants over them.
And he has filled the hungry with good things, and rich he had sent unto you away.
So in the book of Matthew, when it says, the first shall be last and the last shall be first, this is what it's talking about.
So, It's amazing how all these books connect with each other.
And he has hoppled his servant Israel in remembrance of his mercy.
And as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham, to his seed forever.
Now I want to point that out, guys.
Seed.
Remember what I was talking about earlier?
The bloodline of Adam.
That was preserved through the flood and everything, because the seed of the serpent, they tried to purposely pollute the bloodline of Adam, so Jesus could never be born.
So Mary could never be born, and Elizabeth could never be born, or David and any of them, because they came from that royal bloodline of God.
You know, from David and such.
And again, he spoke to our father, to Abraham.
So the father, like all through the bloodlines, is saying, the seed, right?
What's the seed?
The seed is you passing on your, you know, when you get somebody pregnant, right?
You're giving your seed to that woman.
Your seed is your birth, your child, I'm sorry.
And he's saying from the, spoke to the fathers, to Abraham.
That royal seed, that bloodline, that's what that is.
Your family heritage, your family tree.
That's what that is.
And Mary abode with her about three months and returned to her own house.
So Mary was with Elizabeth for three months when they were pregnant, right?
And now Elizabeth's full time came that she should be delivered and she brought forth a son.
And that's John the Baptist, right?
He'd be later on be known as John the Baptist.
And her neighbors and her cousins heard how the Lord had showed great mercy upon her and they rejoiced with her.
Because again, remember this.
Zacharias and Elizabeth, they were old!
They thought she was barren, she couldn't have kids, and now she's bringing forth a child!
And everybody's like, wow!
I can't believe that!
That's awesome!
It's a miracle!
And remember Zacharias too?
Because he didn't believe the angel of rest, the angel dumbfounded him, that he couldn't speak until the child was born.
And it came to pass that the eighth day, they came to circumcise the child, And they called him Zacharias after the name of his father.
But hold on a second, didn't the angel tell him to call him John?
And his mother answered and said, no, not so.
But he shall be called John.
So whoever's giving them birth said, this is going to be called Zacharias.
Because usually you name the son after the father, right?
The firstborn.
And his mother Elizabeth said, no, no, no, no.
Hold on.
He needs to be called John, right?
And they said unto her, there is none of thy kindred that is called by this name.
So they're saying, nobody in your family history, or his family history, is called John.
Why do you call him John?
And they made signs to his father how he would have been called, right?
And he asked for a writing table and wrote saying his name is John.
And they marveled, all marveled.
Remember this?
Because Zacharias the father, right?
He couldn't speak.
So, of course, John couldn't speak up, so they had him write on a tablet, uh, what do you think, John, um, Zacharias?
And he writes on the table saying, his name is John.
And everybody just, wow, you know, they all marveled at that because they, now they understood that both Zacharias and Elizabeth were told that his, uh, the baby's name is gonna be John.
Right away, they assume it's gonna be Zacharias, so, right, Zacharias Jr.
Because the angel told them both, you know, you got to name that child John.
And his mouth opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake and praised God.
So, mind you, right?
This is Zacharias, right?
For the whole nine months, the whole time that Elizabeth was pregnant, he couldn't speak a word.
But as soon as he went on, we have the baby's born, They're about to name him Zacharias, Jr.
And he said, she said, no, it's John.
And he wrote it down, he's like, no, no, no, it's John, it's John, right?
Not Zacharias, right?
And right away, because remember the angel told him, you'll be dumbfounded, confined with your speech until the baby's born.
Baby's born, and his mouth opened immediately, and his tongue loosened.
And he spake and praised God.
And mind you, before he lost his speech, right, he was the leader of the temple.
He had to give up the ministry because he couldn't speak anymore.
Remember that?
He had to go to his house and said that.
He went and retired basically.
So now, as soon as he started speaking, everybody around, all around him, all feared it came, that all the, you know, everybody that dwelt around him, all just came, they were like, in fear, came upon him.
And all these sayings were, were noises abroad throughout the whole country of Judea.
Like, oh my God, Zacharias is speaking!
First time in about a year he's speaking.
And all that they heard of them laid upon them in their hearts, saying, What man of child shall this be?
And at the hand of the Lord was with him.
And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost and prophesied, saying, Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, for he hath visited and redeemed his people.
And he has raised up a horn and salvation for us in the house of the servant of David.
Now as he spake, by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the word began.
Wow, could you imagine him just like voicing out after you can't speak for about a year.
Now all of a sudden you can speak again.
And again, Zacharias was a leader in the temple.
He had to retire because he couldn't speak no more.
Now he's speaking.
Everybody's like just, what the heck is going on?
They're just, well, amazed, you know?
We're at 71.
That we should be saved from our enemies and from our hand of all that hate us.
To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, yet to remember this holy covenant.
I mean the oath which we swore to our father Abraham.
That he would grant this unto us.
That we be delivered out of the hand of our enemies, might serve him without fear.
Again, this child, John, he's going to be called the prophet of the highest.
This is the final prophet, guys.
The final prophet.
No, Joseph Smith is not.
Muhammad is not.
shall go before the face of the Lord to prepare his way.
Again, this child, John, he's going to be called the prophet of the highest.
This is the final prophet, guys.
The final prophet.
No, Joseph Smith is not.
Muhammad is not.
Nobody else.
John the Baptist was the final prophet of the Lord that was sent.
And Jesus was the Messiah.
That's it.
There's nobody after these guys.
Plain and simple.
There's no prophets of God after John.
And there's no Messiah besides Jesus.
Jesus is the final prophet, the final Messiah.
Plain and simple.
The buck stops at John and Jesus.
So don't let any religion out there dupe you.
Praise God, you know, this is awesome.
So again, John, yeah?
Remember, even before John was born, God already told him he was going to be a great prophet.
thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways.
Remember, even before John was born, God already told him he's going to be a great prophet.
Zacharias, he's going to be a great prophet.
Through his angel, Gabriel, that told Zacharias, your son's going to be a great prophet.
up.
And later on you'll learn that John says there's going to be one greater than me.
And that's Jesus.
To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remissions of their sins, through the tender mercy of our God, whereby the dayspring from the high have visited us.
And to give light to them that sit in the darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
And the child grew in wax-strung spirit, and was in the desert until the day of his showing into Israel.
So as John was growing, right?
John the Baptist, he wasn't Baptist at this point right now, right?
He was learning the Word of God, being trained by God, right?
Before he even showed his face into Israel.
They kept him in the desert, you know, into the dwelling there.
Basically away from the public.
And he was, you know, he was grown strong to learn, you know, the ways of the Lord before he went out into the society, you know?
And that's why the book of John is after this, you know what I mean, after the book of Luke.
Because we learned, Matthew and Mark, we learned a lot about Jesus.
A lot.
Right?
From the birth and so on.
Luke is talking about Jesus as well.
And also, John.
Because we need to understand who John is too.
Yeah, now John is not just an apostle.
Yes, Matthew is an apostle.
Luke's an apostle.
James and so on.
But John's a little bit different.
Okay?
John is the final prophet.
Then Jesus, you know, actually Jesus is kind of the final prophet.
But John is the final human prophet, right?
Jesus is the Savior, the Messiah, the Son of God.
You get the point, right?
