TruthRadioShow.com And welcome everybody to the Dan Badani Show right here on TruthRadioShow.com So welcome everybody to our comprehensive study of the book of Matthew.
And we are now on to chapter 25.
So this is another exciting chapter.
Jesus talking about the prophecies and what not to happen before his return.
So before we begin, guys, we do a biblical study approach.
How we do this is, number one, we pray for wisdom and understanding.
And by doing that, we pray to Yeshua, Jesus, our Savior, that forgive us of our sins.
And please, the Heavenly Father, install the Holy Spirit upon us so we can learn your divine word and everything that you want us to see and hear and understand in your scripture, Lord.
And pull out all the great context of this amazing chapter to help us understand.
In your name, Amen.
And guys, what we do too is we have to read the scripture in context.
So if you're looking for somebody to just read through the Bible, we don't do that here.
Like I said in past videos.
By the way, if you missed chapter 1 through 25, it's in our menu here.
In our list, I'm sorry.
So, anyhow, a playlist.
So anyway, so we read the scripture in its context.
Because the context is key.
And we let the scripture interpret scripture.
Let the Holy Spirit work through you guys.
So let's begin our study today.
So we're on to Matthew chapter 25.
And when we left on chapter 24, chapter 24 is basically where the apostles asked Jesus on Mount of Olives, when will be the signs of your coming?
And Jesus laid many, many prophecies before his return, such as the sun and moon going dark, the stars literally fall from heaven, and heaven's literally being shaken up, and he's gonna come like a thief in the night.
He's gonna come, actually, every eye is gonna see when he comes, every eye.
Not a couple eyes, not people in caves, or whatever the case, every eye in the world is gonna see his return.
And this is literally.
It's not figuratively, it's literally.
You know, we have to emphasize that too.
And he warns about, you know, we got so many religions out there today.
So many people like in pre-trism and all that to say Jesus already came in 70 AD.
And other religions say Jesus already came here, there, and everywhere else.
He's here now, whatever the case.
And no, the scripture warns us.
Don't listen to these people.
Many will come in his name and they're going to deceive you.
And he warned us.
Don't listen to them when he stays in the desert or in the cave or whatever the case.
When he comes, every eye is going to see it.
Plain and simple.
There's got to be no mistaking him returning.
Plain and simple.
So on to Matthew 25 is continuing, telling the apostles what's going to take place.
So anyway, Jesus starts off that.
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which shook their lamps and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
So now he breaks into a parable here.
And the reason why he's talked in parables, guys, so every generation can understand him.
And sorry to sound redundant through the series here.
But Jesus talked this way because he knew different generations and eras and all that.
Words would change their meanings or whatever the case.
So he talked in parables, like layman's terms, so to speak.
So you could not possibly misunderstand.
Didn't matter what generation you're from, whatever the case, you would not misunderstand.
So there's a lot of meanings in these parables.
He's not just sitting there writing a rhyming, you know?
So anyway, he said, then shall the king of heaven be looking at the ten virgins which took their lamps and went forth to meet the bridegroom, right?
So, to understand the context of this, right, you've got to understand that the bridegroom, you know, the wedding, let's talk about the church, guys.
The bride is the church, and he is the bridegroom.
So, this is how you understand this, right?
So, he's giving an example.
The ten virgins, you know what I mean, ready to meet their husband.
In this case, it's us guys.
Not that, I'm saying a lot of people are not virgins today, whatever the case is, and I'm not going to get into any of that.
And that's not what it's talking about.
Ten believers, okay, and there's many more, whatever the case is.
But ten, this example, ten believers waiting for Jesus.
Now, this again, the virgins or the brides is referred to the church, which is the people who follow Jesus.
It's not a religion, but the people follow Jesus.
You know what I mean?
He's the bridegroom.
So, and five of them were wise and five were foolish, right?
And they that were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them.
Because mind you, these are lamp, oil lamps.
It's like a kerosene lamp you pour, which is oil.
You know, you pour it into the lamp there.
And it keeps the light, you know, going, you know, for those people don't know about these kind of lamps in these modern day eras, you know what I mean?
So anyway, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
So you had five, which foolish and five were wise.
That the foolish were, took their lamps and they didn't take the oil with them.
And the wives took oil with their vessels as well, and the lamps.
So, anyway, while the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
So, in other words, waiting for the bridegroom to come, the husband, soon to be husband, that's what a bridegroom is, soon to be husband, right?
So, in other words, when Jesus comes to get his people, this is what he's talking about, when he comes to get his people, right?
They all slumbered and slept.
So remember Jesus said he'll come like a thief in the night when you least expect it?
So they're waiting.
We're waiting for his return, right?
So half the believers today, this is what it's really saying.
Half the believers today are going to be wise, half of them are going to be foolish.
So I was going to tell you what happens to these people.
So anyway, while the bridegroom tarried, which is on his way, they all slummed and slept.
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh, and come out ye to meet him.
So again, memory says he'll come like a thief in the night that you don't know, the day or the hour.
And that was the last chapter, 24, right?
So then those virgins rose again and trimmed their lips.
All of them did.
So you see all the virgins, which is the believers, okay?
They rose to trim their lamps and like turn the lights on, sorry.
Let's go out to meet them, right?
So and the foolish ones said unto the wise, give us some oil for our lamps are going out.
So basically, you know, while they're waiting, right?
While we're waiting, right?
People take advantage of that.
They don't get prepared for what's to come.
They're like waiting to the last minute and then they're gonna, people like us who do prepare, people that don't prepare, they're gonna be coming to us and asking for oil and lamp.
In other words, yeah, they're gonna be caught with their pants down.
There's chapter 24 says.
So the foolish said unto the wise, give us oil for your lamps because our lamps are going out.
We can't go out because we can't see, right?
And but the wife answered saying not so least ye not be enough for us and go but ye better go ye rather to them that sell and buy for yourselves so they're saying we don't we can't we have just enough we've been saving just enough that's going to get us there So go buy yourself some oil, you know what I mean?
But at this point, it's too late.
So, and while they went to buy... So, the five fools went to go buy oil, right?
So they, you know, this is... If you could get what this is saying, guys.
Jesus says, I will come like a thief in the night, right?
Don't be caught with your pants down.
Five of these people got caught with their pants down.
They didn't have oil for the lamps, nothing like that.
And at the last minute, they're trying to, oh man, we gotta, please give us oil.
And it's like, no, we have just enough for ourselves.
And they went to go buy some oil, right?
That the time is too late so in went while they went to buy the bridegroom came and that they were ready Went in with him to the marriage and the door was shut So this is basically just what Jesus comes back for his people, right the people who are ready.
And you're going to have a lot of the last people scrambling.
Oh man, because they didn't live a prosperous life from Jesus.
You know what I mean?
And they just, I don't know, I can't even describe both.
Just the regular people out there who don't do enough of God.
And the next parable talks about that.
So they want to do everything at the last minute.
And it's too late because the bridegroom comes and he's not going to wait around for you.
He's going to be just taking the people who are ready for him.
So yeah, they went into the, the five went into the marriage and the door was shut.
And afterward, this is after the foolish, right?
Already, you know, they went and bought some oil or whatever the case, and afterward they came to other virgins saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
By your answer said, verily I say unto you, I do not know you.
And again, that's very scary for any Christian ever here.
And remember we went through this already with other parables when they said, I have cast out demons in your name.
I have witnessed the people in your name.
And Jesus says, be gone.
I've never known you.
So this is very scary for Christians to, or believers I should say, to hear.
You know what I mean?
Nobody wants to hear that.
You know what I mean?
And it goes on.
When we say we let the scriptures interpret scripture, the next couple of parables explain this in detail.
And it says, watch therefore you not know the day or the hour where the Son of Man cometh.
So, did he not say this already in chapter 24?
He says, he'll tell you where the season, he said the season, when the season is, right?
He said, before I return, right, in the last prophecies he gave was, you know, the Antichrist coming to power, right?
That's the 2nd Thessalonians, which we read.
And so 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2, right?
And then in Matthew 24 he said, the sun and moon are going to go dark, right?
And the stars are going to fall from heaven, right?
And the heavens are going to be shaken up.
And at any time, that's the last prophecy before he returns.
So it's literally the day and literally, yeah, he does give you the sign to look for, right?
He does give you the season, but not the day or the hour.
Not even the angels in heaven know, right?
So they, you know, this is talked about at times when people are going to see this.
They're going to see these prophecies come to unfold, which are unfolding as we speak.
And when these major prophecies happen, guys, a lot of people are not going to be ready.
And this is what's going to happen to you.
He's going to shut that door and you're going to miss the boat.
And again it says, And for the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling into a far country who called his own servants and delivered unto them his goods.
So this is another parable which explains this even more.
So this is why Jesus talks in parables so you cannot possibly misunderstand him.
These are parables in this chapter here to explain in detail what he's talking about.
They have the same meaning for these parables.
So you cannot possibly misunderstand this, right?
So this is talking about a man, you know, in the parable here.
Like a layman, sir.
I'm a man that's traveling out of the country.
So he's got to trust his talents, his goods.
I'm sorry.
His, you know, like a rich man traveling out of the country.
He's got to trust his goods to his servants.
Right?
So, and onto one servant, because he had three servants here, right?
For example, one servant, he gave five talents to another two and another one.
So he gave his first servant, he gave five talents.
The second servant gave two and gave one to the third.
So to every man according to his several ability in straightway took his journey.
So now let's go into what this perspective means Everybody out there right doesn't matter who you are if you're in a wheelchair, whatever the case, right?
We Jesus is giving those talents He starts off the parable of goods, but he's me talk about talents right what are the talents Gifts for us to go out and minister to Him, right?
For Him.
And then some people, yeah, absolutely, they're disabled and all that.
And they'll probably, you know what I mean, like, and you'll probably get less talents, whatever.
But you got a talent to go out and do something for God.
And if you're restricted, you know, you can share Bible verses online, you can witness to your friends and all that.
You can do something.
Anybody can do something for God.
So He gives our talents according to our abilities, see?
To His several abilities.
So according to your ability, no matter what it is, right?
God's given you talents.
But unfortunately, there are people out there who get these talents, right?
And they're great!
I have a cousin, I don't mean to put him under the bus here.
I have a cousin, he's amazing, he's like, with the Bible.
But he's not out there teaching anybody about it, you know what I mean?
Just very few people, you know what I mean?
He had the opportunity to be on the radio here and all that stuff to help, you know, me with this, but he doesn't want to do that, you know what I mean?
He likes to stick to himself, you know what I mean?
He's very knowledgeable to scripture, but I don't mean to put him that way, and I'm not judging him.
I hope he's doing something now, but this was a while ago.
So, anyway, I just wanted to give an example, right?
We all know these people, right?
They know the Bible very well, but they don't do nothing.
They stick to themselves.
That's the people, okay, that, um, waste their talent.
Alright, plain and simple.
So again, according to, uh, not to, uh, one, you know, the first guy, he gave five talents.
The second guy, he gave two, and the third guy, he gave one, right?
And they give them according to their several abilities.
So, whatever your ability is, God does give you talents.
In a straight way, he took his journey.
The man left, you know, the Lord, whatever he is.
And then he had received the person that received the five talents, right?
Went and traded with the same and made them five other talents.
So this is a guy or a person or a woman, right?
That's got abundant talents that the Lord's given him, right?
And he or she is going out to the world, witness to many people on earth.
Done multiple things, multiple things for God, and it's got back ten, uh, twice, tenfold, whatever the case, right?
Now, and likewise, that he had received two talents, he also gained two.
This is a person who's got some talents, right?
Yeah, he's got some talents.
Not many talents as this gifted person, right?
This gifted person went out and did what he does, right?
And he got 10th twice back.
So basically, this is a guy out there with 5 talents.
Who went out there and witnessed to everybody.
Best as they can, right?
Got a lot of people to God.
And even the ones that didn't come to God, he loosely planted the seed, right?
This is a person that's kind of mediocre, right?
Likewise, he had received two talents in the Oshigeno.
So he went out, did some work to get, according to his ability, right, to get other people to follow.
This is just the average person who is still learning the Bible, but they're out there teaching, you know what I mean?
So, but he had received one, the person, yeah, right, that he received only one talent.
So this is a person that already he was kind of skeptical about because, yeah, That's why according to their ability, right?
You know, this is a person, the lukewarm Christians, they call them, right?
That sit in the church all day, right?
This is the people that sit in the church all day, don't do nothing.
They'll pray.
Yeah, absolutely.
They'll do the Bible study and everything else, right?
But they don't do nothing.
They don't talk to their friends, families, neighbors, or anything like that, or do anything like this, or whatever the case.
They don't do nothing.
So, they're wasting their talent.
So, and after a long time, the ward of those servants came back and reckoned in with them.
So, he come back to say, alright guys, I gave you talents, what'd you do with them?
So, this is Jesus coming back, right?
The talents we have today, guys, every, all of us have them, according to our abilities, right?
Every one of us, watching, listening, whatever, and you know, that, you know, Jesus, that follows Jesus, right?
We all have talents, according to our abilities.
So, the Lord, Jesus comes back, right?
And so, he that received the five talents, that's the first servant, right?
That he gave five talents to?
According to his abilities.
And they came and brought all the five talents.
Saying, Lord, thou hast delivered unto me five talents.
Behold, I have gained besides them five more talents.
So, you kind of understand what this is saying, right?
The Lord's entrusted this person, right?
With five talents.
You know, blessings of talents, right?
He's going out and witnessing gaining more talents.
In other words, what he was good at, he ended up being good at other things.
It's in the spiritual perspective here, right?
So that's like you say, um, all right, let me put this another term.
So you listen out right there, right?
You say the Lord's blessed you with five different talents to be able to help him, right?
Like if I, you know, like a talent, you can reach people on the internet, talent, you can reach people at work, whatever the case, and you going out and use those talents, right?
And all of a sudden you just gain five more of doing other things.
You know what I mean?
And the Lord said to his, him, well done, good and faithful servant.
Thou hast been faithful over the few things, and I will make you ruler over many things.
Enter into the joy of the Lord.
So, enter into my kingdom.
Come on in.
You have done my work.
Okay?
This is what the apostles went out and did too.
That used their abilities, whatever abilities they had, and they went out and doubled them.
And I hope and pray that I could do that, and you could do that, and everybody else.
And wouldn't that be great?
To hear this from Jesus, when he returns for his bride?
That's us.
Well done, good and faithful servant.
Thou hast been faithful over a few things, and thou make thee ruler over many things, and enter thou into the joy of the Lord.
That'll be a blessing to hear.
But that also requires you doing some work, guys.
And he that received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliver me two talents, behold, I have gained two other talents besides them.
So this is a regular media person, somebody who just came into the faith and all that.
It's trying and all that case and just an average person in the faith, right?
And they go out and talk to friends and family and, you know, they just say they were good at talking in private or talking one-on-one and just say, emailing people, right?
And all of a sudden they get two other talents.
Now they're good at talking on the phone.
Now they're good at talking at conferences, you know what I mean?
So they gain two more talents for ministering for the Lord, right?
So, Jesus, the Lord, said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant!
You have been faithful over a few things, and I will make you ruler over many things.
Enter thy into the joy of the Lord.
So, come on into my kingdom.
I gave you a couple talents here, and again, it's according to your ability, guys.
You've got to understand this, right?
Not everybody has the gift of all these talents.
And those who do have a talent or two, use it to the best of your ability.
Gain others.
I hope you understand what I'm trying to say here.
Well, the Bible's trying to say it, not me, but that's what the Holy Spirit's saying here.
We all got something, guys.
You find it, and if you don't think you have it, pray to the Holy Spirit, pray to God, and He will show you what talent you have.
And use that to the best of your ability, and you'll gain another talent.
And again, it doesn't matter if it's 1, it doesn't matter if it's 100.
Alright, use whatever you have according to your ability like it says.
You're not going to keep referencing that.
Because I don't want people to feel insignificant.
Because there are people out there who are wheelchair bound or are just sick and everything in bed, whatever.
And it's very limited what they can do.
And again, according to their abilities.
So just because you don't have 5 talents, like the next person, don't feel bad.
He gives you things according to your ability.
Remember that.
Right there.
According to his several abilities.
So understand what that means.
What you're capable of doing.
He's not going to give you something you can't handle.
Remember that.
The guy who has five talents.
You have two, right?
Sure you'd be like, I could never hit him.
I wouldn't even know what it would work.
Maybe someday you could.
But he's not going to give you something you can't handle.
So understand that.
And don't feel insignificant if you got two and the guy's got five.
You know what I mean?
That's what he's saying.
you can with what you got.
That's what he's saying.
I hope I get that out here.
Then he that received that one talent came to the Lord and I knew the excuse me guys I'm just trying to read this sometimes It's like I'm hard to read the old broken language or English.
Yeah out loud.
So They use King James Bible.
So so we have to do is just take your time and you can completely understand it so then he which had received one talent came and said Lord I knew thee That thou art a hard man, reaping where thou hast sown, and gathering where thou hast not strewn.
And I was afraid, and I went out and hid thy talent unto the earth, lo there that hast it is thine.
So in other words, this is a person, to break his demonic hand, Lord Shaft.
This is a person that got a talent from God, right?
Didn't do nothing!
Nothing at all, alright?
Didn't do nothing at all.
He just hid that talent.
Hid it in his room.
Hid it away from people, right?
Wasted his talent.
Sure, he still got the talent, right?
But he didn't gain nothing.
And his Lord, this is Jesus telling this person, it's like a lukewarm Christian.
His Lord answered him and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, which that means lazy.
Plain and simple, slothful is laziness.
Though newest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not stored.
Stored, I'm sorry.
The artist, therefore, have put my money to the exchanges, and then, at my coming, I should have received my own with usury.
So take before, therefore, I'm sorry, the talent from him, and give it to the man who has ten talents.
So the one who had the most talents, say, give him your talent.
I'm taking it from you.
I gave you a talent, you did nothing.
That's what he's saying.
You didn't go out and do nothing at all, but you just hit it.
You sat there, laziness, okay?
Slothful, that means laziness, completely.
That's people out there, like, sit around, play video games all day.
You know what I mean?
Just sit around, do nothing for God, at all.
Have talents, and amazing talents, too, and they sit there and waste it.
It's sickening, you know what I mean?
So when Jesus comes back, they're like, oh yeah, I'm a believer, I don't care.
I'm just gonna stay at my house and all that, and do nothing.
Yeah.
And this is what he says unto them, you know what I mean?
For every one that has been given, and shall have abundance, but from him that has not shall be taken away, even that which is he has.
So he's saying, like, everybody that's demonstrated their talents, helped with their talents, right?
They're gonna be given, right?
And the person who wasted their talents, everything's gonna be taken away from them.
And guess what?
And this is horrible.
It's horrible, but this is, you know, you reap what you sow, right?
What is that saying?
Does that say he's going to heaven?
be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
No.
What is that saying?
Does that say he's going to heaven?
No.
Weeping and gnashing of teeth, that's hell.
Then a lake of fire.
After judgment.
So, if you're one of those Christians out there, oh, I'm one saved, always saved, I'm just gonna sit in my room, play video games, not bother with the world or nothing.
Yeah, that's you right there.
That is you.
If you're not doing something for the Lord, okay, and here's the thing, He's done, He's given you eternal life.
So, I don't want you people saying, oh well, what has he done for me?
Well, if you ask that question with sincerity like that, you need a good crack across the head with the Bible.
What has he done for you?
What hasn't he done for you?
What, because you don't have money or riches?
Because you're not driving a car making a million dollars an hour?
He's given you eternal life through his son, that's all he needs to do for you.
But he does do a lot for you.
He gives you what you need, the clothes, the food, and everything else.
You're still alive and breathing, right?
So that should be good enough.
And it's not about that.
It's like we should be thankful.
We should be doing it not out of... Like when I do this here, I don't do this because I have to.
I'm like, oh, here we go.
I gotta go get through this.
No!
We do this out of love and I love doing this stuff.
You know what I mean?
It's such a joy to be able to serve the Lord.
I wish I could speak better.
I wish I could pronounce words better.
Yeah, I wish I had those talents, you know what I mean?
But I do have a talent to get out to people, reach out to people.
You know what I mean?
And hopefully someday the Lord will give me that extra talent to speak better.
You know what I mean?
So regardless guys, we need to be doing something.
And if we're not, you know, this is what happens.
And this is the mindset we talk about this all the time on our spiritual warfare shows.
This is the mindset of the people, you know, the once saved, always saved, the pre-tribulation rapture, the dispensationalist movement, the prosperity gospel, yeah?
This is the mindset of the people.
They think they're not going to be here for none of the bad stuff.
They're automatically saved.
It doesn't matter what they say they do.
This is what's going to happen to them.
So moving on here.
And when the Son of Man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory.
Finally.
That's gotta be a, wow, a glorious sight.
Imagine that.
I look for that every day, like wow, I wish I could be alive to see that.
We might not, none of us might be alive for that.
And we know it's coming soon.
Well, through the tribulation and everything, but yes, we're gonna be here for that, for the pre-tribulation people.
And if you're lucky not to experience death, okay, you gotta see this happen.
And even the grave, too.
I mean, it says every eye will see.
Every eye's gonna see it.
The people in hell, the people in Abraham's bosom.
They're all gonna see it.
Which is paradise.
And no, it's not purgatory.
Big difference.
So, when the Son of Man shall come in His glory, and the Holy Angels with Him, He shall sit upon the throne of His glory, and before Him shall be gathered all nations.
So everybody's gonna be gathered before Him, right?
And He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides the sheep from the goats, right?
He's gonna separate everybody, right?
And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
See what's going on here?
Who are the sheep?
We.
He's our leader.
You know, he leads us, our flock, right?
The sheep are us.
The goats are the wicked.
The people who chose not to follow God.
The people who chose, okay, to follow Satan and all his garbage and his wickedness.
We are the sheep, okay?
So, check this out, right?
And Jesus sits on the right hand of God, right?
And we shall sit on his right hand.
But the goats will be on his left.
And then, shall the king say unto them on his right hand, Come ye blessed of my father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
So this is what he's going to tell us.
Us sitting by his right hand.
He's going to say, come in, be blessed of my father, inherit his kingdom.
Isn't that going to be a wonderful thing to hear?
And you go through those gates or whatever the case is.
And yeah, you made it.
You made it.
You made it, you know what I mean?
It's like, better than any graduation or anything, whatever the case, you've made it.
Into eternal life.
And he goes, it's been prepared from the foundation of the world.
This has already been prepared before creation, guys.
As soon as he created the world and the idea of creating man, he's already prepared the kingdom of God for us.
And it's open to anybody who wants to receive it.
And work for him, you know what I mean?
But unfortunately, like the scriptures say, only few are going to enter.
It's as narrow as a gate and only few are going to enter.
But it's there for you, okay?
You need to use your talents for God.
And for I was hungry and you gave me meat.
And I was thirsty and you gave me drink.
And I was a stranger and you took me in.
In other words, the things you do, okay?
We understand you say it by grace, yes, which no works man can boast, right?
But grace is not a free pass to sin.
Grace doesn't mean you don't do good things.
He's talking about when people went out to help people.
You know, the guy who was hungered or, you know, so thirsty, whatever the case, you help them out.
Just people in general, right?
And I was naked and you clothed me.
And I was sick and you visited me.
And I was in prison and you came to me.
Then the righteous shall answer him, saying, Lord, when we saw thee in hunger, and fed thee, and thirsted, and gave thee drink, and when saw thee a stranger, and took thee in, or naked, and clothed thee, and when I saw thee sick, or in prison, I came to see you.
And the king shall answer unto them, saying, Verily, verily, I say unto you, insomuch as ye have done it unto me, one of the least of the Jesus is saying, yeah, rarely I say it to you, as much as you've done this unto the people, you know, at least with my brethren.
That's the people out in the streets, guys.
Those people you drive by every day going to work, right?
Standing in the corners.
Yeah, some of them are frauds, I get it.
You know, whatever the case, but a lot of them are not.
Once you drive by every day, you're sipping on your hot coffee, especially in the winter months now, right?
You're sipping on your hot coffee, hot chocolate, and you're driving by to work, and you see this guy freezing his butt off, standing in the corner with a sign, right?
And you've got your breakfast sandwich in your hand, you're going to work, you've got a full stomach, and a nice warm belly, right?
And this guy's freezing his butt off.
You drive by him.
If you know, here's the thing, right?
If you know there's a guy out there in the world, right?
Standing out there every morning, right?
You go get your breakfast coffee, dunk your donuts, McDonald's, Burger King, right?
Go get him one too.
Don't even ask him.
Get the man one or the woman.
Get him one.
Stop.
I don't care if you hold up traffic.
You stop and give it to him and say, God bless you.
This is from Jesus.
Plain and simple.
Don't take no credit for it.
Don't get out your cell phones.
Look, look what I'm doing.
Trend of the day.
No, you don't do that.
Because he's saying, you did this to at least one of my brothers, right?
You have done it to me.
So, when you do this guys, when you help these people, you're doing it for Jesus.
You're doing it to him too.
You're helping him.
You understand what this is saying?
Yeah, it's a hot summer day.
You got some cold drink in your hand.
You're about going to the beach and you got some food on you.
Some sandwiches and all that.
And you drive by this guy who's like barely standing up because he's from dehydration, right?
You drive by there.
Yeah.
Slow down.
Give him a drink, okay?
I always carry like, I try to carry bottles of water in my car.
Maybe some crackers or something like that, right?
I used to try to get boxes of granola bars or something, you know what I mean?
That was sustainable for the day, at least.
You know what I mean?
Again, if you're out in hot weather, I mean the cold weather, go buy the guy a coffee or something.
Or if you go buy a breakfast sandwich, get the two for five or something like that.
Give him half of it.
You know, give him one of the sandwiches, you know?
Remember that, you know what I mean?
And you can tell the clients from frauds too, you know what I mean?
The fake homeless people from the real ones.
The real ones, the fake ones are not going to want to take food.
The real ones will.
You know what I mean?
And I don't care if you've got to stop in the middle of the intersection.
Do it.
Because remember that guy, imagine if that was you and somebody did that for you.
You'd be like on your knees thanking the Lord for that.
Imagine how you would feel if you were in that situation, right?
But he says if you do this, help people, right?
And do you know anybody in prison?
You know, try calling the guy or talk to him or write to him.
Give them encouragement.
I got a cousin in prison.
Granted, I gotta get up and see him.
Uh, but I talk to him on the phone and everything else, right?
If you know somebody that's sick, go up and say, hey, I hope you feel better.
Contact them.
Say, listen, like, uh, I hope you feel better.
Um, do you need anything?
You know what I mean?
A stranger or a relative, whatever the case.
I mean, like, help, you know, be, be there for them.
You know what I mean?
Especially in prison if you're sick.
You know what I mean?
That's the lowest part of your life, especially in prison, man.
You need encouragement.
And you can witness to a lot of people in prison, you know?
And Jesus says, if you do these things to the least of my servants, right, you're doing it to me.
And then he shall say unto them, on the left hand, now he's talking to the people, the goats, right?
Not the sheep, the goats.
Right?
Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.
Now here's the thing, right?
Where is this right now?
We're not talking about hell, guys, okay?
At this point, this is judgment, alright?
This is past hell, when all hell is brought up before the- Everybody that's in hell is brought up before the Lord for judgment, right?
When he- Yeah, when he says, the pot for me, these, uh, the Wiccan and all that, the people on his left hand, the pot for me, he cursed and devilized the fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.
This is not hell, guys.
This is something far worse than hell.
This is called the lake of fire.
Right there.
Everlasting fire prepared.
Because remember, hell itself is cast into the lake of fire.
Hell itself is gone.
So hell is like a, I say this all the time, hell is like a jail cell, right?
The lake of fire is the big house, the prison.
So yeah.
So those people onto his left hand.
That could be many different people, but people who don't do nothing for the Lord, especially people who serve the wicked.
He's gonna say, And that's the thing, when he made, when he, God created the lake of fire, right?
He made it.
Okay, he prepared this for the devil and his angels.
He had no intentions at all.
For like to cast a human being into this dreadful, awful place.
That makes hell look like a walk in a park.
You gotta understand the magnitude of this, right?
Hell is a bad place.
I wish nobody goes there, right?
But, the lake of fire makes hell look like a walk in a park.
You think hell is bad, you have no idea.
It's like the lake of fire is like hell on steroids and then some.
He created this for the devil and his fallen angels.
He had no intentions for you to go there, me to go there, any of us to go there.
He doesn't want to put anybody there, but the devil and his angels.
But the people who refuse to turn from their wicked ways, refuse to come to the cross.
And trust me, he weeps over that.
He's gonna weep for every person that gets cast into the lake of fire.
And for people out there, unbelievers, you gotta understand this, where he's coming from.
The Creator himself weeps for your soul, if you go there.
Then people say, well, if he's all loving, then he'll forgive you.
No!
He can't... How's he gonna forgive you if you didn't come to him?
That's why he gives you the power of free will, not to be like robots.
People don't understand that, you know?
Very important.
That this is a... I couldn't even describe in words how bad this place is.
A place I don't want to be and I wish to God nobody goes to.
But this is prepared for the devil and his angels.
Yeah.
The wicked, you know, the goats are gonna go there.
For I was hungry and you gave me no meat and I was thirsty and you didn't give me no drink.
I was estranged and you took me not in.
Naked and you didn't clothe me.
Sick and in prison you didn't visit me not.
You know what's funny too?
It's not funny actually.
We got family like this.
I can say my family too.
That would not help with you winning and stuff.
If family you do that, imagine you're strangers, you know what I mean?
And that's what most of the world does.
These corporate businessmen drive by people every day.
They have enough money to put a guy in a house if they wanted to, right?
They're driving by in their brand new Mercedes-Benz and their limousines and all that.
Drinking their cappuccinos and all that, that cost 15 bucks or whatever from Starbucks, right?
And this poor guy on the corner.
Yep, they drive right by him every day.
All those people just ignorant.
Oh yeah, I gotta do my own thing.
I gotta go to work.
I'm sipping on my latte going to work, and I got my sandwich in the car, and yeah, I don't have time for those people.
And some of you don't know what the sad part about it is?
Some of these people go to church every Sunday.
They'll go to church, oh yeah, play holy thing, they'll do a lot, right?
Every week, right?
But yeah, avoid those people.
And somebody comes up to beg for money, like, get away from me.
You know what I mean?
A lot of these people are churchgoers.
They don't help anybody, and the only time they do give money is to make themselves look good in the church.
They'll waive a $100 bill when the collection plate comes out.
And they'll make it known to the whole place that they did this, right?
These are wicked people.
These are the people when Jesus slams the door right in their faces and says, be gone because I never knew you.
That go there for show and status.
Oh, look at me.
I'm sitting in the front row of the church.
I'm handing a hundred dollar bone to the plate.
Look at me.
Yeah, look at you in the lake of fire.
That person, that poor person who just gives like a dollar if they ain't got it, right?
That's all they have and they give it to the, in the collection plate.
They have given more than that person with the hundred dollar bone.
Because that's all they had.
And they did it in secret.
God says, give what's in your right hand and what's in your left hand.
No it's not.
We went over this through the book of Matthew.
So yeah, this is very, very eye-awakening stuff, guys.
And this is something we need to be just conscious of.
You know what I mean?
So next time, you know, if you see somebody hungry or thirsty out there, especially in the cold that's out here in New England right now, the month of November, it's crazy enough to help somebody.
So, and then Jesus says, Then ye shall answer to him, saying, Lord, when ye saw thee, and hungered, or thirsted, or stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee, then shall they answer him, saying, Verily I say unto you, and so much as ye did it not to be one of the least and so much as ye did it not to be one of the least of these, ye did So, he's saying, those people I just mentioned, right?
When you deny, you know, you laughed at, or mocked, or just like, ugh, get away from me, or anything like that, just avoid these people.
You avoided Jesus, so that's what he's saying right there.
That person that needed water, or whatever the case, and their lips are cracked.
I seen this stuff in the summer.
Pull up to the lady out there, this poor lady, man.
She's got a sign, her lips are all cracked, and she's sitting there in the scolding heat.
I gave her like a couple bottles of whatever I had, you know what I mean?
And she was so thankful.
And then I went up the street and bought her some burgers.
You know what I mean?
And I just felt... I felt great to do that.
I didn't put it on no TV or nothing.
I shouldn't even be talking about it now.
But I'm just trying to use this example, guys.
You know what I mean?
Because knowing that I... You know, me helping that girl just to eat another day, to drink another day, to live another day, you know?
If everybody had that compassion, man, we wouldn't even have homeless people.
But it's not just about that, guys.
You see what this is saying?
When you deny these people, you're denying Jesus, right?
When you help these people, you're helping Jesus.
That's what he's saying here.
This is the end times he's talking about.
and these shall go away into everlasting punishment but the righteous unto it life eternal plain and simple right those people and again they could be the best churchgoers in the world They could be pastors and ministers, right?
Here's the thing, remember people like Joel Osteen and all these top televangelists.
How many people they drive by a day, okay, going to the big mega church, right?
And there's tons of homeless people there.
Drive by and they don't do jack crap.
Nothing for them, right?
They're gonna go into everlasting punishment.
But that poor person that you know like you know what?
In his bedtimes I had a few dollars I think it was uh I got a couple burgers from Wendy's that's all I had I was like starving you know what I mean?
And I seen this lady out there hungry I gave her half of what I had Cause I couldn't even uh live with I mean I couldn't sit there and eat or whatever Don't act like I was gonna starve you know what I mean?
I'm not like that you know what I mean?
And that's the God Conscience in you.
You know, that's not to sound New Agey.
I'm not into that New Age crap.
I'm just saying that's the Conscience in you that the Holy Spirit gives you.
You know what I mean?
That you feel you need to help people.
And it feels great to do that.
Because imagine you were on the other side of the point.
There's been times when I was down on my luck and people have helped me out.
It was such a blessing.
You know what I mean?
So this is what you need to know guys.
