Time Text
And welcome to the Dan Bedani Show, continuing our comprehensive study of the book of Matthew.
So we continue on to Chapter 3.
So if you missed parts 2 and 3, guys, that's Chapter 1 and 2.
It's in the library here.
So anyway, I'm Dan Badani, host of TruthRadioShow.com.
So before we begin, let's praise Heavenly Father.
We pray to you, first of all, Jesus, Yeshua, Messiah, that we confess and repent of all our sins and make us clean and whole before the Father, Lord.
And we pray Father you could disseminate your word to us through the Holy Spirit and to us and help us understand and pull out much as we can out of the book of Matthew.
So what we do guys again if you're new to this channel here, this is a comprehensive study of the book of Matthew.
So basically it's not just a read along, you know what I mean?
And we're going to actually stop and actually examine each and every verse and everything else and just pull as much as we can, much content.
Because context is key.
That's the thing.
A lot of people skip over.
You get a lot of people who later on scoff at the Bible.
Oh, I brag about it, I've read the Bible several times, but the thing is, there's a difference between reading the Bible and knowing the Bible.
Even false preachers, they claim they know the Bible, and many others, even demons.
But the thing is, it's the context in the chapters and in the verses, yeah.
So basically, we pull the context out.
Context is very, you know, important.
So context is key in what the Scripture also interprets the Scripture.
Ask the Holy Spirit to interpret it for you.
Don't ask me and don't even ask me.
So what I'm trying to do is just pull as much as I can out of the book of Matthew, chapter 3 here.
As we can see here, this is Matthew chapter 3.
And we use the King James, and you're more than welcome to use whatever Bible you want.
We strongly recommend the King James and older.
That's our personal belief.
And I also encourage you, even though you see that on screen, I encourage you to open the book of Matthew yourself.
And so in those days came John the Baptist preaching in the wilderness of Judea.
So in saying, repent ye for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
So one of people folks, hey listen, this is not a time to be, you know, messing around.
Now granted it's, you know, thousands years before the major prophecies took place, but the kingdom of heaven is at hand, literally.
It doesn't matter if the end time prophecies happen a thousand years from now or tomorrow.
The end time, you know, the kingdom is at hand, plain and simple.
The kingdom of heaven is at hand because the thing is, it's at hand at every second because what if you died, You know, five minutes from now.
And you missed your opportunity to get to that Kingdom of Heaven.
You know what I'm saying?
So the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.
That's what he means.
It's not like it's going to happen tomorrow.
And especially back then, you know, thousands of years later, you know, the Kingdom of Heaven has not come on the Earth yet.
You know, God's Kingdom.
So, but the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.
In other words, it's you, OK?
That you, you literally could die any minute and you will miss your opportunity.
So repent.
Big word is repent.
That means turn away.
For this is He that was spoken of by Prophet Isaiah, saying, So this is the Prophet Isaiah talking about this, you know what I mean?
About this, the one who cried in the wilderness preparing for the way of the Lord.
talking about this.
You know what I mean?
About this, the one who cried in the wilderness preparing for the way of the Lord.
And let's talk about John here and the same set of his remnants of camels here and leather and girdle about his loins and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
So John here, John the Baptist is, you know, this guy who fasted a lot and everything else, he was always in the spirit.
He is filled with the Holy Spirit all the time and his call was to baptize people and help them repent of their sins and everything else.
So, and his meat, which means his food.
Okay, so food in the Bible is called meat.
So it could be a pure orange, it could be a nectar, it could be a lamb, it's called meat.
You know, in modern day terms we call meat something from an animal.
But back then, meat is actually anything you basically eat.
So locusts and wild honey was also considered meat.
So anything you would eat was considered meat.
So, then went out of him in Jerusalem, went out of Jerusalem, and all of Judea and all the region around Jordan.
So, and were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.
So, people came from all over.
They come out of Jerusalem, out of Judea, and all the regions around about Jordan.
So, they all came to John the Baptist to be baptized, and confessing their sins, not to John, but confessing their sins to the Holy Spirit and to the Heavenly Father.
But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism and said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
So, yeah, and back then, okay, with regards to today's churches, you know, today's churches, you know, politically correct, oh, don't talk to people like that, and, you know, John was blunt, okay, plain and simple.
So was Peter, so was Paul, especially Paul, and so was especially Jesus.
They told you right out, listen, you're a generation of vipers, and you better turn from your sins.
Unlike the churches today, who try to beat around the bush and actually condone a lot of these evil practices.
So anyway, bring forth the fruits meet for repentance.
So they would make an offering basically for the, you know, seek repentance.
So because back then people say, well, we don't need you, John, because we got Abraham.
That's what was going on.
We have Abraham our father.
For I say to you that God is able to, of these stones, to raise up children into Abraham.
So because back then people said, well, we don't need you, John, because we got Abraham.
That's what was going on.
We got Abraham, our father, which is, you know, the Bible calls him Father Abraham.
And Abraham's bosom was born.
Things are different now.
paradise.
No, it's not purgatory.
Big difference, okay?
So, you know, it's not, John is not discrediting Abraham.
Not at all.
He's just saying, listen, like, yeah, the Savior is here, plain and simple.
We can't go by the old ways of Abraham anymore.
Things are different now.
And now, also, the ax is laid out to the root of the trees, but it's not the root Therefore, every tree which brings not forth good fruit is handed down and cast into the fire.
So what is this saying then?
Is this actually talking about a tree?
No, we're talking about us.
Okay, the tree of, basically the tree of God.
So we are the branches and we are the, you know, that give fruit.
Now on a tree, right, anybody that grows fruit, what you do is like, grows fruit or whatever the case, vines and all that.
And if a branch is not producing fruit and it's faded and all that, what you do is you cut it.
You prune the tree, you know what I mean?
And it makes room for a new branch to grow, to grow fruit.
That's what you do.
When you have flowers too, the petals that are dead, you just pluck them off and it allows them to grow more petals.
So if you have fruit, your tree, I'm sorry, your tree or your branch, whatever you want to put it, is not growing fruit, you're going to be hemmed down and cast into the fire.
That's what that's saying.
So you can say, well I accepted Jesus years ago, I don't have to do nothing.
So, you don't have to produce no fruit?
Is that what you're saying?
And that's what a lot of these dispensational churches say.
Oh no, once you're saved, once you believe in Jesus, you don't, there's nothing more you have to do after that.
And you could actually go out and sin and all that.
And they say, dare to say that grace is a free pass to sin.
No, it's not.
Not even close.
Okay?
Because if you're not producing fruit, just like a tree that, you know, they said it's going to be hammered down and cast into the fire.
In this case, it would be hell or the lake of fire.
Plain and simple.
you know even plain and simple so that's where it goes and i i indeed baptize you with water unto repentance so basically you're doing a symbolic ritual basically for god to show how much you you know how important it is to you and you want to repent from your sins and
And, but he that comes after me is mightier than I. Whose shoes I am not worthy to bear, he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire.
Who's he talking about?
He's talking about Jesus.
And whose fan is in the hand and will thoroughly purge his floor And gather his wheat into the garner, but will burn up the chafe with the unquenchable fire.
So, once again, it's the same, yeah.
This is going to quench, the one coming is going to quench all sin.
Plain and simple.
And I want to point out something too, because this is really getting on my nerves sometimes.
Not this, I mean, what happens was, I know a lot of people that seek to be baptized, right?
Same thing, you know, like John the Baptist, baptized people, right?
And they go to a lot of ministries.
Hey, I want to be baptized.
Oh, yeah, no problem, sir.
Come on in.
But before we do that, you have to be discipled for us.
That's what they tell you.
So in order to be discipled, you're gonna go through a rigorous set of classes.
Attend the church frequently, right?
To be discipled.
You know, discipled.
So it's usually the elders of the church that disciple you, whatever the case, in the past, or whatever the case.
So, you have to go through this rigorous extent of classes, this, that, and the other thing.
Then, the elders get together, before you get baptized.
Then they vet you out to say, Is this guy a true believer?
They decide if you're a true believer or not.
And if you pass the test, then they allow you, okay, to be baptized.
And it's basically a ritual that's making you an official member of the church, because you are not an official member of the church until this is done.
Meanwhile, you're going to a lot of church classes, you're going to extensive studies and all that, for them to deem you worthy to be baptized.
That's how it goes, okay?
But, is this biblical?
No!
So if you've gone through this and you're, or you've gone through this whatever the case and I hope you didn't.
But if you're going through this right now and you went to a church to seek to be baptized and they told you these things guys.
You need to exit out of that church.
Because John the Baptist did no such thing.
He didn't sit there and vet who's who.
He didn't sit there and vet, wait a minute.
Are you worthy?
No!
Come on over, baptize, bang!
Bottom line.
And the thing is, here's the other thing that these churches don't make sense, right?
Who's gonna want to come and get baptized and not mean it?
I mean, come on, let's be serious, common sense.
Even if he didn't mean it, that's a personal thing between you and the Holy Spirit.
Who are they, the churches and these elders there, who are they to decide if you're worthy or not?
Isn't that up to the Lord to decide that, not a church?
So, any churches out there teaching this blasphemy, you need to stop.
Because it is surely not what the Bible did, okay?
I'm sorry, John in the Bible.
John the Baptist did no such thing.
He didn't even know people's names that were coming out of Galilee and Jordan and all that stuff.
Coming from far and wide just to be baptized.
Did John say, hey, hold on guys, you can't do this yet.
We have to go through a rigorous set of classes and we have to sit there and actually deem you discipled.
Then we take a vote to see basically if you're approved to be baptized.
And we vet you out to see if you're serious or not.
No, John did no such thing.
Again, people come out of the woodwork and he's like, hey, he doesn't even know the person's name.
Come on over brother, it's just a bang, baptized.
Without jumping through a bunch of religious hoops.
And that's what really burns me, man, when these churches do that.
And you have to go through their extensive training, jump through all their hoops, for them to deem you worthy of baptism.
Is that something the Bible would do?
I mean, look at it.
They came out of Jerusalem.
You know, people from far and wide.
Out of Jerusalem, out of Judea.
The regions about Jordan.
They came from everywhere.
So did John the Baptist say, oh, hold on, guys.
Hold on.
You have to go through a vetting situation.
We have to, you know, screen you or something the other day?
No.
John didn't know such a thing.
Simply come on over, brother or sister.
Didn't even know their names, half of them.
Most of them.
Come on over.
Baptize you in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Plain and simple.
So, we go back to, um... So, yeah.
This is, uh... He says, I baptize you with this water of repentance.
And he says, somebody who's coming is who is mightier than I. He's talking about the Savior.
The Messiah.
And that's Jesus Christ.
He's your Messiah.
So then, uh, comes Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John to be baptized of him.
And John forbade him, saying, I have need to be baptized myself, and you come those to me.
Like, just stunned, saying, hold on, hold on.
You're, you're the Messiah, okay?
I should be going to you for baptism.
This is how humble John was.
You want me to baptize you when I'm not worthy to do this?
Completely, utterly shocked, and he goes, no, I seek baptism from you.
Who am I to baptize you?
You're the Son of God.
I'm not worthy.
This is John's Amos.
And Jesus told him, answered him, saying, Suffer to be so now, for thus it is become us to fulfill all righteousness.
Then he suffered him.
In other words, he And then, you know, in modern day language, yeah, Jesus told him, it's like, no, it's, uh, this is for us to fulfill.
And John accepted it.
And that's what it means.
He not suffered like in pain.
No, in this terms, he accepted it.
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straight away out of the water.
And lo, behold, the heavens were open unto him.
And he saw the Spirit of God descend like a dove and lightning upon him.
And lo, a voice from heaven saying, this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.
So everybody around was witnessing this.
John the Baptist and the scores of people that were there, they all witnessed this.
And when Jesus came to John, John was like, that's him, the one mightier than me.
And he was like, wow, he was like starstruck, you know what I mean?
If you met somebody famous or something that you idolize, which I don't recommend anybody idolizing any human being, but you get the point, alright?
John's like, whoa, and what would you think?
If you seen Jesus walking toward you, what would your reaction be?
You'd be like, whoa, hold on a minute.
You know, it's like, this is awesome, but wow, you know?
Then imagine if Jesus come up to you and said he wants to wash your feet.
You're like, you want to wash my feet?
You know what I mean?
That's what he did to the disciples at the Last Supper.
And we're going to get to it later on in the series, yeah?
Then this is Jesus saying, I want you to baptize me.
You know what an honor that is?
And John's like, I'm not worthy of that.
Who am I?
I'm not worthy, like Moses said, when God appointed him to lead his people to freedom.
He goes, who am I?
I'm just a regular person.
I'm not worthy of this.
John's like, stunned, you know what I mean?
Then he, you know, suffered, but he accepted it.
That's what that means.
And he baptized Jesus.
And Jesus, when he was baptized, he went straight away.
He went under the water.
He came out of the water.
And the heavens opened up.
The sky must have opened up.
It must have been some major, like, Hollywood type of thing.
You know what I mean?
And he saw the Spirit of God descend like a dove.
We're not saying it's a dove.
It's like a dove.
So a lot of people get the idea when paintings and art and all that, that's a dove.
No, it says like a dove.
If it was a dove, it would have said the spirit of God descended as a dove.
No, it's like a dove.
So something similar to a dove.
And lighting upon him.
So when the sky opened up, this big bright light came and down and illuminated Jesus.
And a voice from heaven, loud and clear, everybody heard it.
This is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased.
Imagine, imagine being there to see that and hear that.
Yeah, and I'm sure everybody in that area fell to their knees real quick.
I would, wouldn't you?
Could you only imagine that, you know how that would be?
So I know some of these chapters are short here.
I like to do like a minimum of a half hour each chapter.
So we get the full understanding of this.
But this is like Claire's day though.
So I can go over it one more time.
In those days, John the Baptist preaching in the wilderness of Judea.
And saying, repent ye for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
In other words, telling people your time could be any time.
And at the time, there was no timeline when the Kingdom of Heaven was coming.
So it's either you dying or the Kingdom of Heaven actually coming.
So we just want people to listen.
You don't need to repent.
You don't have time.
You're not guaranteed your next breath.
That's what the scripture also says, too.
That was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, saying, The voice of the one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his path straight.
And the same John had his remnant, Raymond, I'm sorry, of camel's hair and leather and girdle about his loins.
And this is, and his meat was locust and wild honey.
So John was actually wearing Raymond of camel's hair and leather and girdle about his loins.
And he used to eat locust and wild honey.
That was, uh, his food, his meat.
And then went out to him, Jerusalem and all Judea and all the region around about Jordan.
So people came from every direction to come get baptized by John.
And they were baptized of him in the Jordan River, confessed in their sins.
And when they saw many the Pharisees and Sadducees, Come to his baptism and said unto them, O generation of vipers, who has warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
He's asking this.
Who's warned you this?
Bring forth therefore fruits of meat for repentance.
And again, this word meat, in other words, you're gathering.
So gather your fruits for repentance.
So this is not meat as eaten, like over here.
But the meat, M-E-A-T, that's what, you know, that was considered food back then.
Well, anything you eat was considered meat.
Didn't have to necessarily be an animal.
But this here is actually meat, like gathering.
So, bring forth your fruits, gathering for repentance.
And there's significance, key words here.
Again, context is key.
So, what is this?
This is actually fruits.
He's not talking about the fruit you eat.
Bring forth your fruits, your good works, for repentance.
I'm sorry, your fruits is in other words everything you do.
It could be good works, it could be whatever, but bring forth your fruits, meat for repentance.
Like, come together for repentance.
And dink not to say within yourselves, we have Abraham, the father, in other words say, Just by you saying you have Abraham, doesn't mean you're saved.
That's what he's saying.
And that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
And now, God is able, just trying to figure this out here, is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
So, just like basically saying that God's able to do anything.
Okay?
Plain and simple.
But now he also, uh, the axe laid unto the root of the tree, therefore every tree, this is why he said right here, bring forth therefore fruits for meat repentance.
So this is where we ask what this meant.
Let the scripture interpret the scripture, because it's right here.
The axe is laid unto the root of the tree, in other words, to cut it down, therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit, It's hemmed down and cast into the fire.
So basically it's saying, yeah, bring therefore the fruits to meet for repentance.
So all your fruit that's not, you know, like, you're not good, is, you know, the branches are going to be cut down and cast into the fire.
Okay?
And I did baptize you with the water unto repentance, but cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear.
That's talking about Jesus Christ.
He shall baptize you in the Holy Ghost with fire.
So it's the fire that quenches and kills the sins.
The unrighteousness.
The fire that kills and makes everything pure.
It purifies it through the fire of the Holy Ghost.
goose, that whose fan is at hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor and gather the wheat into the gardener, and he will burn up the chafe with the unquenchable fire.
This is, in other words, he's saying, he, Jesus Christ, is the one that could burn and destroy your sins permanently, because it quenches through fire.
And then comes Jesus.
So this is all before Jesus got there.
So Jesus gets there.
And from Galilee to Jordan.
He walked from Galilee to Jordan.
And to John to meet him.
And to be baptized of him.
And John forbade him.
And said, hey, I have no need to be baptized myself man.
You want me to baptize you?
And Jesus said, yeah.
exactly what I want you to do.
John, like, being humble, like, hey, I'm not worthy.
Then he suffered.
In other words, he accepted him to do this.
And I'm sure John was, and I would be too.
You know, I'd be, like, honored to do that.
You know, baptize the Son of God.
You kidding me?
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went straight away out of the water, So when John lifted him up out of the water, the heavens broke wide open, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove of lightning upon him.
So, imagine that glorified light that just shone down right through the skies of heaven.
Like, literally, God just ripped the veil.
Ripped the veil wide open, and his light, okay?
Not him, because if he himself came into the earth, everybody there would have probably dropped dead except for Jesus, because the sight of God.
The radiance of him, people would have just dropped dead.
That's why God's never appeared in his image, in full image, to anybody in the Bible.
Because of his radiance, of his glory, you know what I mean?
He's appeared as a burning bush and many other things, but yeah.
And Jesus, when he was baptized, this is amazing.
What an amazing sight this must have been.
Especially hearing that loud voice, must have been like thunder.
Imagine that in the other just a voice like that magnitude come from the sky.
A loud voice from heaven.
From heaven!
So the voice is coming from the sky saying this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.
The voice of the Heavenly Father God the Creator.
Wow!
That's amazing!
It really is.
So guys, uh, thank you guys for joining us.
We're gonna be, um, Matthew chapter 4 next week.
And if you missed, uh, parts 1 and 2, which is chapter 1 and 2, it's in the series here.
We also got the book of Jude, which is only one chapter.
Lots of stuff in that book, man, I tell ya.
Uh, we did a video on that too, so.
And just, um, save it short here if you're going to the playlist.
And it's called Bible Series.
Because we got a new show.
We got a special warfare show.
We do special reports and everything else.
We do gun reviews.
Because I'm a Second Amendment supporter.
I love my guns and everything else.
We do all kinds of videos but in a playlist.
Just go into the playlist in the channels here.
Both of my YouTube channels.
And also my Rumble channel.
And it's in the Bible series playlist.
So eventually we're going to get them all together on our website.
I'm working on that right now too.
So when you go to TruthsRadioShow.com, you'll be able to click on the Bible series and save you the hassle.
So anyway, guys, thank you so much for joining us.
And it's well, amazing study.
It really is.
And see how much context, because if you go anywhere else, because at the beginning of the show, I'm sure everybody says, well, I got my own Bible.
I can read it, you know, and what they do.
Now, like I said in the last two shows, guys, um... Don't read the Bible like it's a textbook.
Don't watch me do, I'm sorry.
But, even further, okay?
Don't read the Bible as you're reading a story or a newspaper.
You just read it through, you know.
You don't do that.
Take your time.
Because there's a lot of speed readers out there, a lot of people... Oh, I read the Bible!
Did you understand any of it, though?
Oh, I think so.
No, you didn't.
You didn't understand any of it.
You need to take your time, stop, and if you don't know what a word really means, you need to know, and look at what that word means.
And it brings out a whole new story after that, you know what I mean?
And read the Bible in its context, okay?
In the verse in its context.
So basically, the false ministries do this all the time as well.
They give a verse out of context.
And yeah, the verse might sound like what they're talking about, because it's out of context.
So if you give one verse to 10 different people, more than likely you could have 7, 8, 9 different interpretations of that one verse.
Depends what the verse is, you know what I mean?
Some are just common sense, you know?
But churches and false ministries do this all the time, to make it sound like that this is the way it is when the Bible says, hey, you know, totally different.
So what you do is you take that verse, read it in its context, so you go into the It's either the paragraph or the chapter.
It could be two chapters, who knows?
But in the subject hearing, okay, of what they're talking about.
Then you'll read it in its context, and you give ten people that verse in its context, you're gonna have ten same interpretations.
Because you don't need to interpret it, it's clear as day.
A kid could understand, you know what I mean?
It's basic reading comprehension skills.
And again, you need to take your time.
That's why it's called a comprehensive study, because you're never going to pull out everything in that Bible.
Even all the times I've read it, you know, I'm still learning more stuff as I go on.
You know what I mean?
There's so much context, and it's what the Holy Spirit reveals to you at the time.
Sorry to sound repetitive on these videos guys, but that's uh, we have to do that.
You know what I mean?
So trust in the plan, the only plan that's the Bible guys.
And uh, don't take anybody else's word.
Not even mine.
And I challenge you guys, go read it for yourself.
Okay?
Don't take nobody's word for it.
I don't care who it is.
Except for the Holy Spirit.
Read it for yourself, okay?
And if you like the show here, you want to help with our ministries, guys, we've got a PayPal, Venmo, and CashUp, three different ways to support our operation and our ministry and our new show, guys.
So the links are in the description, and I thank you very much.
People have been helping out with the ministry here, and it's a blessing because it plays for the studio and everything else we've got going on.
So thank you so much.
And number one, beyond money, okay, is pray for us.
That's more important than anything.
Because I know the Father will provide either way.
Because we pay rent for a studio and all that.
We're trying to move up to the next level, you know?
Uh, just to get this information out there.
So, and I'm blessed for people that have been helping.
But again, the most important thing you can do is pray for us.
You know, plain and simple.
And just, before you donate, just pray to the Father for us.
Let Him decide.
How much you give, whatever the case.
It's up to you.
Give it with the right and the left hand that knows what's going on.
So check out NYC TV guys, awesome ministries, spiritual warfare and all that good stuff.
So nystv.org guys, and if you want a free subscription to their main channel, which by the way all this stuff is free guys, on their YouTube channels and their radio channels.
But what they do, they upload everything to nystv.org, it's their own servers.
Which most of the stuff on here has been banned off of YouTube.
Because it's very explicit.
Exposing deep dark spiritual warfare man.
Exposing the enemy.
You don't know the enemy and expose it.
They do that very well.

And if you want to continue, then you enter a credit card, whatever the case, eight bucks a month, and it pays for the service.
It's awesome stuff, man.
So thank you guys for joining us.
And again, check out my website, truthradioshow.com, if you want to catch our unfiltered news, our spiritual warfare Fridays, and many other stuff we've got going on, guys.
In spiritual warfare, we expose the occult, secret societies, things like Freemasonry, Illuminati, you know, dark evil stuff, Satanism, witchcraft.
We expose it and reveal to the in-depth.
Okay, and especially back in, you know, we, of course, use Scripture.
That's number one, you know what I mean?
Because the Bible says in Ephesians 5, to know your enemy and expose them.
That's exactly what we do.
So, thank you for joining us on the Book of Matthew series.
