Dan Bidondi Show - Is The 2nd Amendment Absolute? What Does The 2A Actually Mean? Aired: 2022-06-20 Duration: 02:52 === Why Not Absolute? (02:25) === [00:00:01] Hey folks, Dan Badondi, TruthRadioShow.com. [00:00:04] So, what is the Second Amendment? [00:00:05] What does it mean? [00:00:06] Is it only for militias? [00:00:07] Is it just for muskets? [00:00:09] Is it not absolute? [00:00:10] Or is it absolute? [00:00:11] Like a moron president likes to say, oh, it's not absolute. [00:00:14] Well, let's find out what James Madison said. [00:00:17] He was the author of the Bill of Rights, that's amendments 1 through 10, ratified in 1791. [00:00:20] So, we're going to break down each section of the Second Amendment, see what James Madison had to say. [00:00:26] So, what is a well-regulated militia? [00:00:27] Yeah, it's all just for the National Guard. [00:00:30] No. [00:00:31] Yes, a state militia is the National Guard, but a well-regulated militia under the Second Amendment is not the National Guard. [00:00:36] And in fact, it's not even the military, not even the police. [00:00:38] It's you. [00:00:39] So, James Madison says, and many other Founding Fathers will quote, These exact things just about to back up every section of the Second Amendment. [00:00:47] So, well-regulated militia means a well- I'm sorry, a militia when properly formed are in fact the people themselves whose ability to act both in personal and common defense must be well-maintained. [00:00:58] So, yes, that's us, not the National Guard. [00:01:00] So, being necessary to the security of a free state means to be secure in your personal liberty, the state of being free, and the governance of a free people, the state securing the rights of a free people. [00:01:11] And the right of the people, who's the people? [00:01:13] If it's just for the National Guard. [00:01:15] It's not. [00:01:15] You know what I mean? [00:01:16] The right of the people is us. [00:01:17] The whole of the people. [00:01:18] Individual right. [00:01:19] Check this out. [00:01:20] Independent of government. [00:01:22] Government has no authority to even touch these. [00:01:24] That's why the First Amendment starts off that Congress shall make no law against these things. [00:01:29] Plain and simple. [00:01:30] So, to keep them bare arms, is this limited to only muskets? [00:01:35] Did the Founding Fathers actually say that? [00:01:36] No, they didn't. [00:01:37] So they said, in James Madison, to own and carry arms of whatever type necessary. [00:01:43] So if that means AK-47, AR-15, M1, whatever the heck you want to have, because the enemy has it, you need it. [00:01:49] To any, whatever type necessary, to effectively provide for personal defense and defense against terrorism. [00:01:55] That's right. [00:01:56] Under the Declaration of Independence, you the people, we the people, have the right To protect ourselves even against our own government. [00:02:03] That's the number one reason for the Second Amendment. [00:02:05] And shall not be infringed. [00:02:06] So, the President said the Second Amendment is not absolute. [00:02:09] Well, guess what? [00:02:10] Yeah, it is. [00:02:10] Plain and simple. === Second Amendment Stays Unchanged (00:40) === [00:02:11] And again, it says right there that shall not be limited, regulated, federally excessively taxed or encroached upon in any manner. [00:02:19] So, anybody with common sense could actually see That, yes, it is absolute, plain and simple. [00:02:27] So that's what the Second Amendment is, guys. [00:02:29] Ratified in 1791. [00:02:31] It was the first ten Bill of Rights. [00:02:33] And yes, they are independent of government. [00:02:35] That's why since 1791 they've been exactly the same. [00:02:38] And yes, you had tyrants in the government from then, okay, for hundreds of years trying to change those. [00:02:42] And that's why they haven't been changed. [00:02:44] And as long as people like myself and you are around, we have the power to keep that so it doesn't get changed. [00:02:49] This is Dan Badondi for TruthRadioShow.com.
