Thank you.

Declaring war on the New World Order.
TruthRadioShow.com And welcome everybody to the Dan Badani Show right here on TruthRadioShow.com and we are now on our alternative channel so this is Saturday night here and this is live and for those who are going to be watching the premiere on my main channel Tuesday
this obviously won't be live so just let you people know before you start chatting in the chat room which Tuesday you will have a live chat Uh, we will still be able to answer your questions, but obviously not live on the air, but we could, you know, type it in.
You get the point.
So anyway, we got a great show for you today, man.
I had no clue how controversial the subject was.
I really didn't.
And, uh, John Paul, uh, John Hall, I'm sorry, who's my guest here, he, uh, informed me of that.
And, uh, so I did a lot of research.
I'm like, wow.
So that's the title of our show today.
Our tongues biblical and what, you know, What the do's and don'ts about them and also get some other spiritual warfare, whatever the case and we will answer questions Whatever the case but um, yeah, so this is our guest here at John Hall He's the host of the cutting-edge every morning that weekday morning 8 a.m.
Eastern and the links in the description From now you see TV John Hall my brother.
How's it going, man?
It's going it's going morning to you Dan.
Yeah, happy Shabbat I'm sitting there watching the news and I'm going, man, how bad can it get out there?
How bad can it get?
Oh, man, it's disgusting.
You know, I got a question for you, bro.
I really do.
So for those folks who are going to be watching Tuesday, if you're watching and just fast forward to Tuesday.
So that's kind of confusing.
So what'd you say?
Don't.
How's that?
How's that work?
It's kind of confusing to me because it's Tuesday.
Because when it premieres, you still have a live chat.
So people in the live chat, when you ask questions, we're not going to be answering them, obviously, because we're broadcasting right now.
It's Saturday morning, 12.30 in the morning.
So obviously, Tuesday, when it premieres, you'll have a live chat, but we won't be answering them like we're doing it now.
And we're broadcasting live now on Friday and going to Saturday.
So it's confusing.
I love it.
Oh, oh, man.
You know, I don't mean to make it confusing.
We're just trying to build this channel up, so I'll give you a sneak preview of what's coming Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
Eastern.
For those folks watching tonight please share this out and then for those folks watching Tuesday night share it out again.
Trying to get Dan built up over here because of course the way the AI YouTube is going you got to have backup channels right now.
It's crazy I know.
And when this one gets built up, I got a couple other ones.
So I want to keep it going, you know what I mean?
As much as I can.
So yeah, you're drinking that coffee up to good.
And I thank you for coming on this late, uh, 1230 in the morning over here, Eastern time.
And, um, my best to Patricia.
I heard her in the background.
Hello, Patricia.
She says, hello.
Uh, it is late, but you know, when you brought this topic up, uh, the other day about speaking in tongues, uh, you know, for the last, and Patricia had to remind me, you know, the last eight years we've been walking this out, this is one of those top three, top four topics that cause all kinds of division, especially when people are talking about it.
And, of course, the Holy Spirit, the very Holy Spirit that brooded over the waters in the beginning is the same Holy Spirit that was endowed upon men after Christ promised He would send the Comforter.
So, speaking in tongues, I fully I fully believe that the Father still works through people in utterance, but there are things that he's, there are words within his scriptures that say, this is what happens when you hear tongues.
People will understand it.
People will have it interpreted.
And then of course, you've got folks who twist it out and, you know, cause all kinds of derision within the church.
So it's a good topic to talk about.
But it's also good to keep the focus on Scripture, if you know what I mean.
Yeah.
And just sticking with that.
What do you think, Dan?
It is one of those topics that cause a lot of heated discussions.
Ironing, sharpening, iron.
It is, and it's great to discuss things, and you know, don't get me wrong, and question things.
No doubt, but I mean, some people are just stubborn when they hear the real answers that go against their personal beliefs or their church or religion's beliefs that are not, you know, scriptural.
You know what I mean?
And that's what me and John try to do.
We're not perfect by all means, man.
We've been wrong about things and we corrected ourselves.
But we gotta go by sound doctrine, you know what I mean?
This is what, you know, the Bible says the do's and don'ts about it.
We're not condemning tongues by all means.
So, I know that the title is a little misleading, and I just did this to get people's attention, you know what I mean?
Uh, but, are tongues biblical?
Yes, they are.
We're not saying they're not, but the thing is, we're mostly pointing out the do's and don'ts, because you got a lot of churches out there, let's face it, some cracky, quacky churches out there that, uh, yeah.
Here's the thing, my brother, I went to this cosmetic church years ago, and Finally dragged my brother in right and uh because he he thought it was all wacky stuff.
He was unbeliever Finally dragged him in and all of a sudden This woman bursts out Like that my brother like laughed his butt off and he goes yeah, don't ever tell me to come to the church again I'm like, oh there goes him, but thank god he's safe now, you know, I mean, but uh, you know, but you'd stuff like that turns people away I'm plain and simple and uh, we're gonna tell you what the scripture has to say.
And uh, I know john's got some um Stuff, but what I got lined up to on my internet, I got, you know, Genesis, quick talking about, we can start off with that real quick if you want.
Let me put that on the screen.
In Genesis, when, you know, the Tower of Babel, we'll get to that here.
So it's Genesis chapter 11, and the whole earth was of one language and one speech.
And it came to pass, and there was a journey from the east, and they found a plain in the land of Shana, and they dwelt there.
And they said to one another, go to let us make brick and burn them thoroughly.
And they had brick for stone and slime they had for mortar.
And they said, go build us a city in a tower, this is Babylon we're talking about, whose top may reach into heaven.
And let us make a name for ourselves, basically, and lest we be scattered abroad the face of the whole earth.
And a lot of people think too because the flood happened.
So a lot of reasons for the tower too is in case God flooded the earth again.
You know what I mean?
Well, they thought he might do it again, whatever.
But the Lord came down and seen the city and the tower, which the children of men build.
And then the Lord said, behold, the people is one.
They have all one language, and they begin to do, and nothing will be restrained from them which they have imagined to do.
And let us go down and confound their language, in that they may understand, not understand one another's speech.
And later on, I guess, what I believe is the angels talked to them in tongues, but every language heard what the angels were saying at once.
You know what I mean?
So, that's what really tongues is.
We got tons of other scriptures too.
We got Acts, uh first christians a couple of chapters there and some other uh bible verses and i know john's gonna throw some in too and if you do talk about acts uh the corinthians whatever i got the verses popped up there uh but yeah um so yeah come to find out this is a very controversial subject and yeah uh it's crazy man so what are your thoughts bro well you know to get into it if we read uh acts chapter two
i don't know if you have the whole chapter up or because reading it in context is very important specifically Setting this up, guys, of course Pentecost is Shavuot for the Holy Feast days.
And of course Mount Sinai, the marriage at Mount Sinai when Moses brought down God's law to his people.
And it's the same, very same day.
It happened on the very same day.
Messiah sent the Comforter, which is Pentecost, which is no coincidence.
It's actually by perfect design.
And so when you read Acts chapter 2 and what happens on this day, it is just as awe-inspiring as it was in Mount Sinai.
And our Father works in patterns.
So if we can read chapter 2, Acts chapter 2 in its entirety, man, that would be cool.
So if you want me to read it, I will.
Oh, go ahead.
It's up on screen.
Cool.
And it says this in Acts chapter 2, starting in verse 1.
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
So they were all one accord in one place.
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as a fire, and it sat upon each of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
And there were dwelling at Jerusalem's Jews devout men out of every nation under heaven.
Now when this was noise was abroad, the multitude came together and were confounded because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
And they were all amazed and marveled.
Saying one to another, behold, are not all these which speak Galileans?
And how he, we, every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born, Parthians and Medes, Elmites and the dwellers in Mesopotamia and Judea and Cappadocia and Pontius in Asia, Pygra and Pamphylia and Egypt and the parts of Libya about Cyrene and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes.
Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
And they were all amazed and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
Uh-oh, there's the mockers.
But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice and said unto them, Ye men of Judea and all ye that dwell in Jerusalem, be this known unto you and hearken to my words.
For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it as but the third hour of the day.
It's morning.
But this, that which was spoken by the prophet Joel, and it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh.
And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.
That's happening now.
Oh, yeah.
And on my servant and on my handmaids, I will pour out in those days of my spirit, and they shall prophesy.
And I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath blood, fire and vapor of smoke.
The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before that great and notable day of the Lord come.
And it shall come to pass that who shall ever call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Not speaking in tongues saves you.
It's a part of it.
Yep.
Ye men of Israel, hear these words.
Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know.
Him being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye taken, and by the wicked hands of crucified and slain.
In whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
For David speaketh concerning him, I forsoil the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, and I should not be moved.
Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad.
Moreover, also my flesh shall rest in hope, because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thy holy one to be corrupt.
Thou hast made known to me the ways of life.
Thou shalt make me full of joy with countenance.
See, this whole thing, to read this in context, and we could read the whole thing, but it is the fruit of the Spirit that we see that has been bestowed upon all that were there.
And those who claimed that these men were drunk, Peter says, look, it's morning time.
How could this be so?
When you read it in context, it's all about the fruit of the Spirit.
And a couple of things that come to my mind when reading Acts and reading about this specific thing, I remind myself what happened at Mount Sinai.
What happened when the good law was brought down for man to know how to live, how to love his neighbor, how to worship God.
And in this instance, this is Messiah sending the Holy Spirit.
So one thing that is adamant, that sticks out adamantly to me, is the filling of the people there of the Holy Spirit.
Tongues of fire resting upon them, and they were filled with the Holy Spirit.
Each instance when we hear of an individual being filled with the Holy Spirit, you know, they do great and miraculous things by the power of God.
So there has to be a filling of the Holy Spirit first before there's an utterance.
And that's what I'm gathering.
When you read the context and when you are filled with the Holy Spirit, all kinds of gifts start coming forward.
Whether it's utterance, whether it's prophesying, whether it's witnessing or comforting, the Holy Spirit is always directed.
Again, I believe, I know for a fact, that the Holy Spirit that was there at the beginning is this very same Holy Spirit we're dealing with today.
And that his works are miraculous in people who are obedient to Jesus Christ.
Boy, sorry I went on a rant there, dude.
No, that's awesome stuff, man.
And I'm glad you read that chapter, because I could not pronounce half those cities you were talking about.
I can't either.
So you did a better job than me, man.
And there's a couple of things I highlighted, too, because there was a discussion on your group page, NYC TV, because I was trying to tell people tongues without edification is evil, right?
And so somebody brought this chapter up and said, well, if it's evil, then how come Uh, let me bring this up because I highlighted it here.
If it's evil, then how come they're accused of being drunk?
Well, the thing is, if you actually read this, right?
It doesn't say that the scoffers here, the people mocking the scoffers, it doesn't say they didn't understand them.
Or did.
You know, it doesn't.
It would have specified, but, you know, how a mocker works, I mean, you could show them a miracle in front of their face.
If they're gonna mock you, they're gonna scoff at you, they're gonna do it anyway.
I mean, people today, you show miracles, or what happened and everything.
They still mock at it.
Because what's going on here is they're trying to say the mockers or scoffers, whatever the case, didn't understand them.
Well, the Bible doesn't really say that.
It says they just scoffed at them.
They mocked them, you know what I mean?
They accused them of being drunk, the apostles.
So it doesn't really say that they did or didn't understand what the apostles were saying.
It was just like them being mockers, scoffers, Uh, basically they're gonna make fun of you.
Anyway, heck I mean like look at all the stuff Jesus did right in front of people's faces healing people Raising people from the dead and people still scoffed and mocked him.
You know, I mean so, um this here which was discussion I was in early in the chat room of the sayings like all right if um tongues without edification they think this is tongues without edification when no it's clearly saying that All these people they said like 3 000 people maybe whatever but all these people different languages every one of them Heard what the apostles were saying in their own language So obviously there was edification going in there with this and when we talk about edification We're going to get to in a few minutes.
Whatever is the first corinthians a couple chapters on there that specify this stuff In this chapter, Dan, when you read verse 12 over 13, I mean, reading this in context is always a good idea.
Exactly.
And they were all amazed.
That means all of them were amazed at what was happening.
Who wouldn't be?
I mean, if you're in a crowd of people and you're cheering, you know, something, it's all an emotional focused in one direction.
And in this case, something miraculous was happening.
We're talking about thousands of people here.
Right?
And they're all speaking in different tongues.
And of course, the Holy Spirit tells us in the Father's Word how many different languages were being spoken.
In verse 12, it says, And they were all amazed and were in doubt.
They were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
I mean, who has ever experienced that?
Really?
And in that magnitude this is others mocking so you always got those in the crowds These men are full of new wine.
So I mean how many times have you told somebody the absolute?
Dogmatic truth and you you didn't You didn't tiptoe around the bush it was blunt its truth and there's nothing anybody can do about it yet They won't believe it for anything no matter how much proof you throw at them that
God in the flesh showed up to walk among us, and the religious sect of that day, they saw His miracles, they saw the things He was doing, the absolute truth of His Father's Word.
He was speaking.
He was sinless.
They couldn't catch Him.
They couldn't get Him on anything, and yet they completely and utterly ignored it and wanted to kill Him or put Him under, and they did it.
When folks encounter somebody, now, you know, I saw that, I read that post in the fellowship, Dan, and it gets heated.
It's just one of those topics.
Our Holy Spirit is the same Holy Spirit that brooded over the waters, the same Holy Spirit that Messiah sent to us as a comforter.
And He still works miracles through people's lives.
However, you know, it's gotten distorted over time and over different denominations.
And it's been, uh, How should I say it?
Diminished.
So when the Holy Spirit speaks to somebody, there has to be a few things that happen, and I'm glad you're bringing up Corinthians, and that's where I think we're going next, right?
Correct, yeah.
And I'll just touch up on this finally and that's why I told you it was a guy named Daniel forgot his last name.
I had a nice discussion with him very respectful each way both ways and but I told Matt for us to say it's something you might have taken out of context because you read in context like we just did you can clearly see everybody understood.
And there was no confusion in that.
They were just mocking him, and it doesn't mean they didn't understand him.
They were doing it anyway, because that's what both of us just said.
How many days is Jesus doing in your face?
And people still had the nerve to call him, and mock him, I mean, and just, you know, you know, scoff at him.
Best thing I could say, yeah.
Yeah, I mean, what they did to him was unreal, you know, and they, you know, all the miracles, and they still had the nerve to do that.
So, uh, yeah, I've got, what, 1 Corinthians 13?
Okay, let's see here.
I got 14.
I got that too.
And 13.
I've got 13 as well.
So there's a couple verses.
I know I like to read things in context, but the first two verses stand out with this because it says, Though I speak with tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, but I become as sound of brass or a tinkled cymbal, and do I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries, And all knowledge.
And I have all faith.
So that I can remove mountains.
And not have charity.
I am nothing.
So basically with this chapter.
The reason why I brought this chapter off.
Because yeah it talks about tongues too.
But the reason why I just want to bring this up too.
Because it talks about.
You know which goes a long way.
You know you got people out there.
And they go to church religiously.
They say their prayers and all that.
But they do nothing.
They.
Their charity.
They do nothing.
And their charity really goes a long way.
Yeah giving to the poor.
Helping people in general out in the world.
That need help.
You know in all kinds of ways.
Especially spiritually.
And they don't do that.
They sit in the pews all day.
And as Paul is saying here.
I am nothing.
I mean if I don't have charity.
I don't have the fruits of the works.
You know.
I don't have nothing.
You know what I mean.
What is the point of no normals.
If you don't help people with it.
You know.
So I just brought that up real quick.
And you know what I mean.
If you wanted to elaborate on that.
Before we get to chapter 14.
You know when it comes to.
First Corinthians chapter 13.
Though I speak with tongues of men.
And of angels.
And you know here.
I've never heard angel dialect before.
And if it is spoken and uttered by the Holy Spirit through an individual, you know, I'm going to expect somebody to interpret it or the fact that I'll understand it.
You know, the Holy Spirit, you know, He doesn't wait for people or audiences.
When God is moving, He moves.
And the individual that He moves on, it's going to come out in whatever way He sees fit.
But as far as men of angels, have you ever heard an angel talk?
I mean, they probably speak every language there is.
But as far as angels speak, I've yet to hear it.
And maybe somebody has, I don't know.
What do you think, Dan?
I never did.
Maybe in a dream or so.
I mean, in my dream, I did talk to angels and stuff in the dreams.
And if that was a dream or a vision, whatever the case, but, you know, I would love to hear that.
Trust me.
Did you understand?
Did you understand it?
Yeah.
OK, so there it is.
I mean, it's within the confines of scripture, his word.
It's just one of those things.
And not everybody, you know, there have been some of the most mature Christians, you know, I've known.
have never spoken in tongues or never been in an arena where that's happening.
And, you know, a lot of churches put so much emphasis on this gift, you know, and there's not enough emphasis on the filling of the Holy Spirit and all the gifts.
And like Paul says here, you know, if he doesn't have charity, he becomes as a sounding brass and tinkling cymbal.
And we've got a lot of that going on these days.
Absolutely, yeah we do.
And there's an interesting story before we go to the chapter here.
Years ago, when I was going through church after church, whatever the case, still finding my foothold in the faith.
I got involved with this charismatic church, like I told you, with my brother.
And well, we got him there, whatever the case.
We went to the Central Church in Rhode Island.
Basically, it looked like a movie studio.
You know what I mean?
It was actually Zion Bible Academy.
It's a Bible school.
It's a college here in Rhode Island.
It's called Zion Bible Academy.
So, we're in that church area.
It's huge.
You know what I mean?
So, they were telling me that to be saved, you need to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
And to do that, how do I know that?
Well, you gotta speak in tongues.
So I'm like literally like I'm trying my best.
I'm like, you know, just so into it trying my best and at the point come to I'm like I started getting upset.
I thought I was deceiving God everything else like that.
And you know, it really took a toll on me because I could not speak in tongues because in one, you know, everybody would pop up and I couldn't understand what they're saying.
Didn't know anything about this, right?
So thank God I had a good friend who's a pastor in Ohio because I every year I used to go to this camp for a week in Ohio.
It was a Christian camp.
It was awesome.
You know what I mean?
And I called him up and I said, look, it's like, I need help.
It's like, I told him what's going on.
And he goes, where are you?
Because it was a weekend getaway.
You stay at the dorms.
And he goes, do yourself a favor.
Call your mother.
Get home.
Then give me a call.
And call your Uncle Bobby, too.
Because he was on the same page.
He goes, get out of there as fast as you can.
And I get out of there.
He goes, listen, you wasn't deceiving God.
That was God telling you to get the heck out of there.
And he explained the tongues, had me read the Corinthians and everything else, and I called my Uncle Bobby.
He helped me with this as well.
And he was going to be a pastor at one point, but regardless, whatever the case, I learned from the Bible versus listening to the man behind the pulpit at the church.
And that whole time, I thought I was deceiving God.
And here's the funny thing, too.
Every time somebody spoke in tongues like that, my ears were on fire.
It just felt evil.
And I thought I was deceiving the Lord.
You know what I mean?
I'm like, how am I feeling stuff?
You know what I mean?
And they explained it to me and showed me the scripture.
And I'm like, wow!
You know what I mean?
And I told my friends I went to the church at.
And of course, they turned their back on me.
Like, yeah, you're not of God.
Not even got accused of being a demon and all that.
And people got insane, man.
But yeah, I'm sorry.
Go ahead, brother.
No, no, no, no.
I'm listening to the story.
I think, you know, going to 1 Corinthians chapter 14, is that where we're going next?
Yep.
A really good chapter to read, especially when it comes to tongues, axes, and of course, 13 Corinthians 13.
There's so many.
I mean, there's over 30 verses dealing with tongues that I counted, you know, as I was getting ready for this.
And I'm like, wow, it's just a good study for each of us as individuals who are walking this out to not have it watered down by, you know, mainstream churchianity.
And defining what tongues is.
Let the Father define it for you.
Do you want to read 14?
Or do you want me to?
If I start reading, I won't stop.
It's been a long show earlier.
Yeah.
If I start reading, I won't stop.
So I'll let you focus.
I'll go for it.
You got my blessing.
I've been reading all day.
Okay.
In chapter 14, it starts like this.
Follow after charity.
There's that word again.
And desire spiritual gifts.
But rather that ye may prophesy, for he that speaketh an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God.
For no man understandeth him, howbeit in the Spirit he speaks mysteries.
But he that prophesied speaketh unto men to edification and extirpation and comfort.
He that speaketh an unknown tongue edify himself, but he that prophesy edify the church.
Interesting.
I would that ye all speak with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied.
For greater is he that prophesies than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation or by knowledge or by prophesying or by doctrine?
And even things without the life-giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they given a distinction in sounds.
How shall it be known what is piped or harped?
For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?
It's a shofar.
I like that.
So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongues words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken?
For ye shall speak it into the air.
There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.
Did I just say that right?
Man, I'm getting tired.
Therefore, if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me.
Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of the spirit gifts, seek that ye may excel to edifying of the church.
There it is again.
Wherefore, let him that speak an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
Interesting.
What is it then?
I will pray with the spirit.
I will pray with the understanding also.
I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupy the room of the learned say, Amen, at thy giving of the thanks?
Seeing he understands not what you sayest.
For thou barely givest thanks well, but the other is not edified.
I thank my God I speak with tongues more than y'all.
Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, that ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.
Brethren, be not children in understanding, howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.
In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people, and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.
Wherefore tongues are a sign, or for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not.
Do you hear that?
Yep.
Dan, that's an important piece of this.
But prophesying serveth not for them that believeth not, but for them which believe.
If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers.
Will they not say that ye are mad?
But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all.
And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest.
And so, falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is in you of truth.
How is it then, brethren, when ye come together, every one of you, hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath tongue, hath revelation, hath interpretation?
Let all things be done unto Edifying.
If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at least the most by three, and that by course, and let one interpret.
But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church, and let him speak to himself and to God.
Let the prophet speak two or three, and let the other judge.
If anything be revealed to another that sitthes by, let the first behold peace.
For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.
And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all church of the saints.
And there he goes into the women being silenced, and man, how that's been taken out of context.
That's another show.
But he lays out here for us, you know, it's all about edifying the church.
It's all about edifying the body of Christ.
And if it's not edifying, be silent to yourselves.
And again, there's been a lot of focus on tongues and a lot of the denominations out there, and it's absolutely degraded the Holy Spirit's gift of utterance.
And it still happens today.
We live in a very supernatural world.
You and I talk about it almost on a weekly basis.
Yet I have yet to be in the same room when somebody does it, and there's an interpreter.
So I listen with a very skeptic ear when it comes to these things.
When the Holy Spirit moves, as it did in that, all were amazed at what they were witness to.
And the mockers, of course, were mocking, and it caused all kinds of ruckus.
But when God moves, He's not going to wait on if we're ready or we have an audience or You know, we got the right size congregation to do this in, to act like fools.
He's going to move and he's going to use the gifts that we're acclimated to through his word.
And here's the most important part of it all, guys.
If what is being spoken in tongues is therefore interpreted, but it is contrary to the word between Genesis and Revelation, again, we have to be Bereans, especially in these last days when Satan is all out.
To get every one of us off this narrow path.
You're right, man.
I can't just help not thinking about the experiences I had.
It was the Assembly of God churches.
You know what I mean?
They're very charismatic people.
Good people, yes.
I'm not judging anybody.
But it was some scary stuff, man.
It really was.
And at the time, I thought I was deceiving God.
Come to find out, I wasn't.
And for a while, I was still going to the church.
Actually, I kept going at the time because I liked this girl.
That's cool.
So that's what kept me in that church.
But yeah, when I started knowing this stuff, I started talking to people, man.
And I got backlash big time, especially by the elders of the church and the pastors and all that.
And then when I, you know, they also preach the once saved, always saved doctrine.
I kind of got woken up about that too.
And yeah, I eventually got ran out of the church, whatever the case.
But, yeah, I was just a grain against the sand, whatever the case, again, in that church.
And all the experiences I had at that place, and it was scary because, like, it was this one church tour we went to, Rhode Island.
It was a big, big, mega church in Rhode Island.
It was part of that, I guess all these churches belong to a system or whatever organization that have sister churches to it, the Assembly of God.
They all met one day, I think it was near Christmas time.
And, man, I think it was, like, 1,500 people, 2,000 people in the room.
and Juan Preston started speaking in tongues and everybody just went silent.
But I didn't understand a darn thing they were saying.
And I'm like, then you've known what I knew at that time then.
I'm like, wow, this is pure evil.
I shouldn't even be here.
You know what I mean?
You know, and I think it was one time, I believe, that somebody spoke in tongues, then they started speaking what I could hear, you know what I mean?
Right.
And it didn't feel evil, you know what I mean?
And then, you know, again, learning more about the tongues as they go on, and especially what the Scripture says, and I'm like, why can't you people see this, you know what I mean?
You guys are going by religious dogma over scripture.
They have all these books about pastors and all that.
Writing their own books about tongues and all that.
Well, you should read this, Dan, because this will help you understand it better.
I don't need to understand it.
You're trying to justify what the Bible is clearly saying.
If it's not edified, it's a babble.
That's all it is.
It's not of God, you know what I mean?
And I think 2 Corinthians talks about tongues, too, in some of the chapters.
Yeah, and there's so much stuff about tongues.
There's a bunch of other Bible verses I pulled up too.
Go ahead.
Throw them out there, Dan.
Cool.
The more the merrier.
Yeah, definitely.
And so what we're trying to do is give you a biblical aspect of what the dos and don'ts of tongues.
And again, we're not saying tongues are evil.
We're not saying they're not biblical.
They are.
You know what I mean?
They are biblical, but there are tongues that are evil.
You know what I mean?
People's spiritual barking, spiritual laughter.
That's Kundalini spirit stuff.
And that's, you know, if you want to move on to that later, it's up to you.
But that's a whole new show altogether.
But that's some really scary stuff.
And yes, sometimes the tongues, the false tongues come from the same serpent spirit, too.
So if you get into the spiritual warfare aspect of this, but you got to test the spirits, you got to test them.
That's what the good word says.
Exactly.
And how do you do that?
You test it against the word of God, period.
So I just saw in the King James Bible online I just saw a keyword just the word tongues so we got a bunch of verses here with tongues and it just has a lot to talk about it you know different ways but I don't know if some of these verses are out of context as speaking in tongues but I gotta find keep going I gotta find James I think it's in James okay let me see if I skip ahead well there's some verses we already talked about
And first Corinthians I'm just going through the rushes here Yeah James chapter 3 I think Yeah So the ones I'm digging up is basically tongues meaning people of different Oh here's one yeah well first Corinthians Chapter 13 which we just talked about we just went over that in chapter 14
Sorry guys, I just randomly pulled this one up here.
So I just keyword searched tongue, so... I know, you know, I just want to make mention, you know, for folks who are abusing and making this stuff up, and I call it gibberish.
Again, you know, if there's no edifying of the body of Christ, if there's no, you know, no interpretation, the whole night, And going down the line of what needs to take place, especially if there's no feeling of the Holy Spirit first, you know, the utterance.
Again, James chapter 3 is a sobering chapter when it comes to tongues.
He says this, and let me get down here.
It starts in verse 5.
Even so, the tongue is a little member and it boasts great things.
Behold how great a matter a little fire kindleth.
And the tongue is a fire, a word of iniquity.
So is the tongue among our members, that it defiled the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature, and it set on fire of hell.
For every kind of beast, and of birds, and of certain things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind.
But the tongue can no man tame.
It is an So here, you know, of ourselves, without the Holy Spirit, James is saying, you know, our tongue is very, very, very, can be very evil.
men which are made after the stimitude of God.
So here, you know, of ourselves, without the Holy Spirit, James is saying, you know, our tongue is very, very, very, can be very evil.
And of course, it could be used in utterances and fooling and deceiving many people, especially when you got prosperity gospel pastors out there who will just drop it a dime, start speaking gibberish, and nobody Nobody has any idea what the person is saying.
So, you know, James here is saying, be careful.
Test every spirit, especially when it comes to this gift.
And Dan and I are saying, you know, it doesn't happen because the Holy Spirit is still working the same as He was at the beginning.
And, of course, He's going to be with us forever.
However, in these last times, deception is going to come from every corner it possibly can to deceive.
And this is one of those topics, one of those things where, you know, you have denominations out there that will tell you, well, you're not saved if you can't speak in tongues.
You know, you don't make this stuff up, but they're out there and people fall for it.
And that is why we need to be grounded in scripture so that we can talk, you know, And the other verse 10 in the same chapter says, out of the same mouth proceeded blessings and blessings.
My brethren, these things are not to be so.
You're basically saying, hey, listen, it's like your tongue, which is speaking, you could cause some serious evil or do some serious good, you know what I mean?
So your tongue, literally, because it's with your speech, you could turn evil or good.
I mean, it's crazy what you can do when you're talking, literally.
Words could destroy people more than punching them, literally.
I mean, there's some people, mostly destructors, say, your father would say, I disown you or something, that's worse than him punching you in the face.
You know what I mean?
And I don't mean to be that dramatic, but that, you know, words, which is your tongue, what the Bible says, Uh, could do a heck of a lot of things, you know what I mean?
Like people in the occult, they use their tongue to recite curses and incantations to do evil things.
People in the faith, well, you know, real people in the faith, they use their tongue to bring hope and joy and love in the gospel of Jesus Christ to people's ears, you know what I mean?
And so the word tongue goes a long way because there's a lot of power in your tongue.
You know what I mean?
Look at people like Hitler.
You know what I mean?
How many millions of people in Germany that he inspired with his psychopathic, uh, charismatic stuff.
You know what I mean?
Then you got the others say, Jesus, how many millions of people, billions of people over the years that his words to this day still live in the hearts of men and it brings hope and joy like I said.
So tongues can go a long way, man.
And then you got the false prophets out there.
The pastors will say, oh, you're not saved unless you speak in tongues.
And this is what I say about these people.
You know what I mean?
We know, you know, baptism and all that, you know, it's cool.
But people say, if you don't do this, you're going to go to hell.
But here's the thing, it goes back to the cross.
And every time someone says, you gotta do this, that, and that, and that, and that, all these requirements to get to heaven, right?
Then I ask these people, it's like, alright, let me ask you a question.
Remember the man at a cross next to Jesus?
Criminal, whatever he did, he was an evil person.
He's like, this man did nothing wrong.
Yeah, he doesn't deserve to be here.
And he said, Jesus, remember me when you enter your Father's kingdom.
Did Jesus say, oh, hold on, before you do that, before that happens, you got to get off the cross, you got to do your Pentecost, you got to speak your tongues, get baptized, you know, do penitence, all this, you know, all this rituals, you know, from the churches.
Did he say to do that?
No.
He goes, what'd he say?
From this day forward, you will be with me in paradise.
You know what I mean?
So, you know what I mean?
There's people on their deathbeds who came to salvation at the last minute and they couldn't get off the bed to do these things.
And I'm not saying, um, you know, baptism is very important, absolutely.
But I'm just saying, um, these so-called rituals, okay, that, you know, these pastors say, if you don't do this, you're gonna go to hell.
You know what I mean?
And they take these out of context for financial gain and also for control and they use religious dogma Over the Bible because when you compare their religious dogma to scripture It's like total contradiction.
I mean you got the Mormons with the Book of Mormons.
You got the Watchtower for the Jehovah Witnesses the Catechism for the Catholic Church and many other faiths and doctrines that all say oh, oh, yeah, this is it But what it ends up contradicting the scripture, you know, I mean and this goes with everything man and now they abused like John said they abused the gift of tongues and And they diminish it.
They diminish something that is holy, something that is good.
Out of the church, and I'm talking the assembly, I'm talking about you guys grafted into Israel.
We have received salvation and the seriousness of that.
is paramount, but never out of an empty church can we reach the world, you know, that is being absolutely skewed by these pastors that show up on TV and start talking gibberish on stage or in your small churches somewhere where nobody is being edified and there's no interpretation.
I guarantee there is fellowships out there where there's tongues being spoken.
You know, when the Holy Spirit moves, you will know it.
There's no getting out of it.
When those men, all the multitudes in Acts, when they saw the tongues of fire come down, not only were they endowed with the Holy Spirit, but they felt it, and they were speaking in other languages that they've never spoken before.
And that's the power of God.
Again, people get caught up in this whole hype of, You know, if I'm speaking in tongues, then I know I'm saved.
That is such a such a hell-bound, you know, road of destruction.
You know, and people sell out to it because you've got a lot of lonely folks out there who stay up at the middle of night watching these things, and that's all they've got.
When, you know, are we falling down as a church?
You know, once you get a fellowship going and once the Holy Spirit is moving in your congregation, A matter of course, yes, utterance will be a part of it.
It won't be every day.
Just like, you know, it's just the Father moves in His ways, and it's not in our ways, and we can't force this gibberish out.
And when we hear it, you know, we can't be going, oh, well, you know, if there's no edification, there's no interpretation of, like Paul says in the writings, be silent.
If it's just between you and the Father.
I believe that happens.
It's not happened to me yet, but at the same time, you know, the Father's supernatural creation is very much a part of our world, and the Holy Spirit, His power is still the same as it was in the beginning, and it will never change, no matter what we say or how we try to twist or cherry-pick the Scriptures to make it fit our, you know, conjecture of what tongues is.
It will always remain the same as the Holy Spirit deems it, And he will move, and when he does, there will be no doubt about it.
And there will be scoffers who say, well, those folks are drunk.
Again, test every spirit via the Scripture, by the Word of God, and if it falls within it, then we're in good shape.
The edification of the church can happen.
But my focus is on these folks out there that absolutely skew, skew people's view of the body of Christ and prostitute it.
I don't.
It makes me mad.
It really makes me mad.
And it's sad at the same time.
And if you want to break down the psychology of this, I studied this too before I left church, right?
I was actually studying this.
I sat back and observed.
And I was noticing how they do this too.
It's derived off a lot of emotions.
Now I'm not saying the person speaking this stuff is evil.
It's what these churches do.
They psychologically get people's emotions skyrocketing.
Not only for the tongue thing, but also mainly to drain your pocket you know after you already made a donation they'll get you because you're going to these churches right and there's nothing wrong with the music whatever but 45 minutes of this music I mean come on man you know I mean we're here to learn about God sing a song or two to wake everybody up fine 45 minutes an hour of just singing and then all of a sudden like the women start getting emotional you know then the men do then that's when the church knows I seen them right there we got them
Oh, uh, help this, I know God's got a bill in your pocket, a check sent over for your electric company.
Give it to us, God will provide.
And people, because of their emotional state, they do this.
Now, at the end of this emotional state, uh, you are susceptible to things like what you perceive to be tongues.
And you got this woman and this guy stand up out of nowhere.
And everybody goes over and lays hands on him.
And I'm like, what?
This is a psychological controlled operation.
They've been doing this for thousands of years, these religions.
They got the stuff down pat.
They drive off raw emotions.
And I believe a lot of these false tongues come from raw emotions.
Which would invite evil spirits in.
Either your emotions doing it or an unclean spirit doing it.
You know what I mean?
And so that's what I really believe that's where it comes from.
Now, one-on-one... Like, I had a dream years ago.
It was these... In the dream, I was at this place, and it was like a church or something.
It was these powerful demons causing chaos.
And in my dream, I remember I started speaking... And I didn't know anything about this.
This is way before I even learned about all this stuff.
I started speaking in this language.
Like a Hebrew language like I had no clue what I was saying but I felt the Holy Spirit through me and the demons they understood her very well because they fled like no tomorrow whatever I was saying and made them put their tails between their legs and head to the hills literally and so things like that man I can't you know I'm not gonna question that but Again, we'll talk about the aspect of speaking in tongues and what people listen in.
If it's not edified guys, I'm sorry to tell you, it's not of God.
You know what I mean?
And what's the point of speaking all these babble in tongues like was said in the Corinthians?
You know what I mean?
If it's three words of understanding, there's better than 10,000 words of babble.
You know what I mean?
And it's true for anything.
You know what I mean?
But I wanted to bring up quick, I found some of the Bible verses here.
Uh, just the power of the tongue.
It's uh, I mean in many different ways the scripture talks about it.
And right here in Job chapter 6 24, teach me and I will hold my tongue and cause me to understand wherein I have earned.
So basically this is Job saying, all right, I'll shut up.
Teach me God.
You know what I mean?
And is there iniquity in my tongue?
Can I taste discernment or perverse things?
You know what I mean?
And who is he that will plead with me?
For now I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost.
You know what I mean?
Those on screen can see the Bible verses what I'm talking about.
And from thy mouth uttereth thine iniquity, and thy chooseth thy tongue of the crafty.
And thy witness be sweet in his mouth, though he hide it under his tongue.
And there's just so many verses about tongues and tongue that talk about, you know, how powerful just a tongue could be in many different ways, evil and good, you know what I mean?
So, and the scripture does tell us not to use perverse language and swearing because you're using your tongue for an evil purpose, which is, you know, Corinthians said, it defiles your body.
You know what I mean?
We all swore, we all cursed, and all that stuff in our lifetime.
And at the time, yes, it's defiling your body.
And also, you're making somebody else that's listening feel low.
And as Christians, we're supposed to uplift people, you know what I mean?
And we're all guilty of that.
Yelling and swearing at somebody.
Cut us off, or whatever the case.
So, you know what I mean?
We gotta learn to be uplifting with our tongue.
Gift of tongues is a very, very important thing to understand.
If that makes any sense, John.
No, it makes perfect sense.
You know, notice the emblem that the father used at Pentecost, which is our Shavuot, which is a holy feast day.
And I have to get that plug in there because we're all supposed to be doing that.
But it was a tongue of fire.
It was a tongue of fire that he used.
And you know, it was meant for a body of Christ to speak truth to the world.
And it is a tongue of fire.
It's a double-edged sword.
And you know, we don't fight with a sword, guys.
That's not how we fight.
We defend our families and our homes and our communities by that.
But you know, we don't go out fighting with a sword.
We fight with the truth of the Scriptures and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
And we can only do that, only do that when we're empowered by the Holy Spirit and we're promised the Holy Spirit.
In obedience, how do you think we're obeying the Father's commandments?
We don't do it of ourselves.
We can't do it because it's our flesh.
It is by the power of the Holy Spirit that Jesus Christ sent to each and every one of us when we gave ourselves over to him.
And, you know, utterance and speaking in tongues, I'm tired of these denominations and factions out there that have belittled it.
And it's wrong on many levels.
And it's caused so many divisions on so many Facebook threads and discussions in churches that enough is enough.
Let's just stick with what the Holy Spirit tells us in His Word and expect that He's not going to change.
That, you know, utterances in other languages and edification of the church still goes on.
But we still, we have to be calling these folks out that are misleading and misusing and doing it for gain.
Absolutely doing it for gain.
Like you said, Dan, people are writing books to tell you how to speak in tongues.
I've got one that was written over thousands of years by different authors that have no contradictions whatsoever and that his word never changes.
And, you know, getting back to the basics of scripture, what a concept!
You know, what a concept!
And, again, you know, He hasn't sent the Holy Spirit to us to be passive in these last days.
He sent us to be tongues of fire, to speak His truth.
And, of course, prophesying is not all about telling the future.
Prophesying is speaking His Word verbatim, as He has written it.
And, of course, when you do that and you're speaking His Word, of course, it can only be powered by the Holy Spirit and who we're talking about tonight.
Which is one of my, I love this topic.
Oh, it's a, it's a great topic and something we definitely should, uh, like as we're doing now, discuss it.
And, um, like I put in the chat room, guys, if you've got questions, please put them in all caps, which we've got a couple of questions already.
And, um, this one, you might hang on a second.
Chat room is jumping over.
All right.
So, uh, Jennifer S is asking, why does it say cloven tongues?
Is that like a serpent?
Let me pull that up in the blue letter.
I think that's what it for.
I think it's an axe.
Let me see here.
I want to pull it up and look at the word.
And this, you know what, guys, this is this is probably good because I'm like you.
I have to look these words up and dig deeper and be a Berean.
What's the address to that cloven?
Jennifer, if you got the right is it's in verse three, I've got it.
Yeah.
Chapter two, verse three.
That's a good question.
Yeah, this is cool, because this is like a live Bible study.
Because we're learning too, guys.
You know what I mean?
The stuff we taught and teach, we're still learning too, so... Oh, yeah, it never stops.
And if anybody ever says they got a cornerstone on it, they're lying.
Yeah.
Here it is.
Let's look that word up.
Cloven.
It's G1266.
To cleave asunder, to cut in pieces, to be divided into opposing parts, to be variance, to distribute, distribute.
Distribute.
Interesting.
It reminds me of the serpent's tongue, you know, the split tongue liars.
You know, split tongue.
There you go.
Another thing with tongues too.
Split tongue liars.
Not just a serpent with a physical split tongue, but a person who speaks lies is speaking with a split tongue.
You know what I mean?
Well, if you look further, uh, man, that's why I like looking through this stuff.
Uh, man, that's why I love David's library.
I mean, he has this all upstairs.
Uh, Matthew 27, 35, uh, and here's just another way they use G1 266 and they crucified him and parted his garments, like cloven his garments.
Further down, they parted my garments among them.
Wow.
So it means exactly what it says.
Split tongues.
And you know, the Holy Spirit says what he says.
Exactly.
And my brother here, Irish Bull.
Thank you for that question, by the way.
Yeah, thank you, Jennifer.
That was a great question.
And Irish Bull here is asking, this is my buddy here.
Hey, Irish Bull.
Can one prayer for the interpretation of what was said?
So in other words, he's asking, if somebody speaks this, could you pray for an interpretation of that?
Why not?
I mean, how are you going to test the spirits, especially if you're standing in a, you know, say you are invited to a church and you go, well, I never go, look, You know, if somebody's inviting you, that's a great time to be witness to them, you know, whatever.
But say you're in a church and then all of a sudden you hear tongues start speaking and nobody's interpreting.
I'd be going, a father?
Is there an interpretation to this?
Because, I mean, he doesn't lie.
He tells us there needs to be an interpretation.
If there's not, then it is just clinging symbols, right?
Test the spirits.
Yes, I'd say pray.
Let me know if I'm in the right place.
I noticed somebody in the chat room talk about snake handling churches.
There's about four or five of them about 10 miles that way.
They're still around and they're still doing their thing.
That's creepy stuff, man.
I believe that's tempting the Lord, because Jesus even said when Satan says, uh, jump from this cliff, I'm sure the angels will save you.
And it says, it is written that it shall not tempt the Lord.
So, if you're playing with a venomous snake, that's tempting the Lord.
Now, granted, if you have to go through a pit, let's say you're in the woods, and for it to save your life, you have to go through a little ditch with snakes in it.
Now, more than likely, if God's gonna help you, He's gonna let you get through there without getting bitten.
But sitting there playing with a venomous snake, Putting it up to your mouth and everything, I mean, that's completely moronic, you know what I mean, for those churches to do that.
They're still around, Dan, and they're down here in Kentucky.
They're here.
So, Callan Farge asks, and I hope I don't butcher your names, guys, I'm sorry.
I butcher my own name, heck.
But Callan Farge asks, why do you think God would give a message through tongues rather than plain language?
Well, if you remember Mount Sinai, when he brought the law down.
On Shavuot, which is Pentecost for the church, I guess.
I mean, they're the one and the same.
And the whole mountain smoke, and the lightning, and the ketubah, and the marriage, and it was like, you know, it's the same.
When our Father sent the Holy Spirit as promised by Messiah as our Comforter, it's just another marriage arrangement.
You know, the marriage supper of the Lamb.
It just gets us there.
And so, with the question, Rather than plain language, when the Holy Spirit moves, it's miraculous.
It's always miraculous.
No matter how subtle He moves, everything He does is magnitude.
He just chose to do it that way.
What do you think, Dan?
And I think why God, yeah, God can say, hey, you know, just tell you flat out, which again in tongues, if it's the proper tongues, you're still going to hear it in your language.
So it is literally flat out.
But what I think he uses the tongues for because it's a confirmation of if it's evil or good.
You know what I mean?
That's what I believe.
Especially if it's tongues instead of fighting.
You say you sit next to people who only speak Spanish and both of you guys are hearing This in your language, that is confirmation this has come from the Holy Spirit.
So I really believe that God uses the, uh, the Holy Spirit uses the tongues to give you confirmation.
Because here's the thing, a pastor can tell you anything he wants.
An evil spirit can come into the church, tell you different things.
But again, if you got, um, you know, your buddy that can't speak English, a lick of English, on your left and right, one speaks Spanish, one speaks German, right?
And...
Somebody speaks in tongues and all three of you here in your own languages.
That is a complete confirmation Of this is from the Lord.
So Callan, I really believe uh The white white God does that for to give you a confirmation.
This is from the Holy Spirit Amen And um, there's a couple comments here.
Um, well, uh, David Carrico.
I appreciate him Cause David, when he doesn't know something, he just tells you without making it up.
That's awesome.
Yeah.
He is pretty much a straight shooter when it comes to that.
And it's, it's a good example.
Uh, there's, there's one statement in, in, in the chat room I've got to address and she knows who I'm talking to.
Uh, with a snake, uh, you can take a long stick and penance neck down to the ground.
And keep it there and then grab it from behind so it doesn't bite you.
With a large sark, a stick ain't gonna work.
So, I see what you're saying though, but you're acclimated to the ocean.
I'm not.
I had to address that.
That's awesome.
You rock.
You know you do.
And support your small businesses, guys.
Yeah, exactly.
I have to get that in there as well.
It has nothing to do with what we're talking about, but by golly, the person has their own small business, so support those.
By all means, yeah.
It's getting early in the morning, I'm getting slap happy, bro.
Yeah, we're up past midnight here, it's 1.33 Eastern Time in the morning, and you got Chris asking, does the sacred scriptures from the Ancient of Days say that tongues is the least of the gifts?
Thank you.
Well, Dan, what do you think?
Is it the least of the gifts?
I mean, I would think so, because like a lot of people in the faith, I mean, I've never spoken in tongues and I don't really know anybody like close to me that's ever did that either.
You know, the correct way at least, you know what I mean?
I don't know about you.
So that would indicate to me that'd be like the least thing, least gift.
Well, I mean, he goes into it in 1 Corinthians 13 and 14.
And you can read down through there.
Any, you know, it's not for me to say what is the least and what isn't.
God is going to use the fruit of His Spirit at the right time for the right situation, always.
And if it's speaking in tongues at that moment, it is absolutely paramount that it be spoken and then it be understood.
The main point of this discussion for me is just being filled with the Holy Spirit.
And being ready to be used in whatever manner he seems fit for the glory of himself.
That's where I'm at with that.
And I know one about the least things in heaven, you know, I'm not switching gears here, but the Ten Commandments, it says, you know, to teach the Ten Commandments to people, you'll be known as the most in heaven.
And if you don't teach the Ten Commandments or believe it or whatever the case, exactly how the rest goes.
But you'll be known as the least in heaven.
So, that's what, you know, what I know about least and most.
About the Ten Commandments.
And, you know, even though most churches say, oh, the Ten Commandments are abolished.
We did tons of shows on this, guys.
But, yeah, no, they're not, you know, that Jesus himself talks about them.
So, Irish Bull's asking, when the Holy Spirit fell on Pentecost, all men heard the word in their own language as they were in Jerusalem from all over.
Oh, yeah, they heard all I mean, how it's crazy to, you know, think about the thousands of people that were there, and from all different walks of life, and they were all speaking their own tongues.
And, you know, some of them may be able to cross over, you know, some people can speak Spanish and English, some speak, you know, vice versa.
But in that instance, it was so amazing, the entire crowd All of them were amazed at what they were hearing.
Languages in their own tongue spoken by men that lived in different lands.
That's crazy.
But at the same time, yeah, they were hearing their own languages spoken by other people that didn't speak their language.
And it was all about edifying, you know, and Christ-centered.
As Peter, as we read, Peter went on and on, and it was all about the fruits of the Spirit and the salvation of Christ Jesus, and it all pointed back to him.
It's just amazing to meditate upon.
And that's why I think the scoffers, known as the mockers, were mocking them because they simply couldn't understand what was going on.
And again, that doesn't say they didn't understand.
They'd seen all these people of all languages understand what was going on, and they were shocked by it, so they easily mocked it.
And uh, so again when you get to that one scripture about the mockers, they you know, it doesn't again have to Emphasize it doesn't say they didn't understand they were calling them accusing of me being drunk because They didn't understand what was going there was a phenomenon going on and they couldn't understand it So what does people normally do when they do that?
They scoff at it or mock it.
You know, I mean, so Uh, that's uh where that comes from And yeah, that was the Pentecost situation there.
That was a huge movement.
And especially, you would say it's the third hour of the day.
So third hour of the day would be after three hours after sunset.
Is that correct?
Probably like 10 o'clock at night, maybe?
Well, let me make sure because, you know, it's been a while since I went down the times and here we go.
It's another topic.
Let me pull this up.
Let me put it up on my phone because I got 18 screens open.
Uh, yeah, so if everybody's got any questions or more just put them in caps if you can
and me or John or both of us will answer them for you and uh even if it's off topic guys if you got any other questions about anything else uh spiritual warfare whatever please throw them out there too because I know a lot of you guys wanted to have questions for John Hall um so he's on right now so and again if you're watching this Tuesday guys um in your live chat okay we broadcasted this on Friday going to Saturday yeah so the uh third hour of the day would be three hours past 6 a.m.
oh okay which was the beginning of the Jewish of the Jewish day at that time as they're tracking.
So, yeah, I mean, here you go.
It's three hours after 6 a.m.
It's like 9, 9.30, whatever.
And then, you know, the entire crowd is speaking in different tongues of other languages.
Of course, they're going to be amazed, but nobody who's drinking.
I mean, unless you're hardcore winery, you know, not everybody in the crowd's drinking.
So the mockers, they're Their argument and their theory is weightless here.
Weightless.
As far as mocking.
Speaking of tongues, man, imagine when we're with the Lord.
You know what I mean?
Like, of course, we have all one tongue.
What's that language got to be?
Is it going to be English?
You know, that's a question for me too, man.
Is this going to be English or Hebrew?
You know what I mean?
Or a new language altogether?
That's pretty interesting to think about.
Any other questions?
Let me see.
I'm falling down on the job here, Dan.
That's all right.
No, it's not all right.
You should say, you should do better, John.
You better do better or I'm going to throw you in the ocean.
You know, the gift of the Holy Spirit was not temporary.
You know that, right?
And those who are watching know the fact that, you know, it's not temporary.
And the display of his power was not to be seen no more after Pentecost.
It is absolutely paramount that we keep, you know, testing the spirit so that we're not deceived by every Tom, Dick and Harry out there throwing a Ponzi scheme at you just because they're speaking gibberish on a stage in front of a crowd of a thousand people.
You know, but that will sway very uneducated and un-biblically schooled folks.
And those are the people we're trying to reach.
Seriously.
Yeah.
And again, having a good grasp on Scripture, reading it over and over and over and over again, helps for us to get out there, especially staying within the confines of Genesis Revelation and not going outside it, and to explain something as important as tongues.
And what I learned, it took years to learn this, but what I learned, hey, you got a question about the Scripture, man?
Yeah, it's nothing wrong asking a buddy to, but even us, man, don't take our word for, you know, take it as a grain of salt, whatever, but, you know, read the Scripture.
I do that on my show every time.
Don't take our word for it, read it from yourself.
And if you have a question, seek it.
Pray, if you can't find it, pray to the Lord and ask for
Uh wisdom and everything he's going to show it to you one way or another and Joanne Willa, you're right always any people will mock Things that they don't understand they you know people mock things they don't understand what that you know, so they mock it That's easy for them to do and I think it's out of fear most of the times people mock it because they can't understand or comprehend it So they're scared so to mix the things so they don't want to look scared So they'll mock it and try to make fun of it, but inside they're scared as heck, you know, I mean Yeah.
And, uh, we got a question here.
Uh, where are we?
All right.
Uh, Jennifer asked maybe too political question, but nothing's too political for us.
Uh, commandments.
Thy shall not covet immigrants trespassing seems to break the commandment.
Rest is following the law.
Apply illegally.
Well, I mean, if you look at the laws that are being written and by the government that's writing them, there's nothing godly about what we're seeing.
At all, especially when it comes to immigration.
I don't see anything godly about what's happening with this government and immigration or any of these topics that they deem important.
As a matter of fact, it's contrary to his word.
And here's the thing with immigration, right?
If people think what's going on, you're not letting illegals in is against biblical standards.
Well, check this out, right?
This will end that debate altogether.
What has the most strictest immigration policy?
It's heaven.
And it narrows the gate only few enter.
So if you're to worry about walls and immigration and say it's unbiblical, well, you better go back and read the scripture because there's gates of heaven, which indicate there's a wall.
But regardless, it narrows that gate and only few enter.
So heaven's got the strictest immigration policy in history.
And Valerie Angelino says, someone told me we have to speak in tongues to be saved.
Yeah, we just covered that.
No, you don't.
That is a lie from the pit of hell.
Yep.
That is a lie.
Absolutely.
And I'm, you know, I'm glad we're talking about it tonight.
I mean, this one's going to cause a lot of issues, but that's okay.
Now let the word of God speak for itself.
That's what I say.
Yep.
Agreed.
And Terry Goodwin, this is a good question.
Yeah.
Um, they're all good questions.
I'm just, um, whatever.
It's late at night.
So is there a connection between healing and tongues?
I guess there could be.
Again, you know, when the Holy Spirit moves, if somebody's speaking in tongues, you know, of course in the scriptures, and this is this is something that is not practiced anymore, where you have the elders go and lay hands on and pour oil over the sick.
And, you know, we've we've been talking about that a lot.
And I know David and Donna do that.
And of course, you know, taking care of your widows.
The Bible says to do a lot of things that we're not doing in the body of Christ.
And, you know, One of them.
So yeah, there's probably, there probably could be.
How's that?
What do you think?
Agreed.
You know what I mean?
And, uh, and the other thing too, is we should be careful too, who lays their hands up on us.
So, but you know, that's a whole show right there.
Who you, you know, I'm very, I'm very, uh, very careful about who lays their hands on, uh, me or, or the family.
Uh, very careful.
Yeah, because you got these pastors out there who are possessed with the Kundalini Spirit, the counterfeiting spirit.
Exactly.
What they do, as you see in the video, is they touch the forehead of something, which is through the penile gland, and that's why these people jump off the wheelchairs, and they don't show you the day later what happened there and end up ten times worse, but they'll jump off the wheelchair, no problem, because they're pushing the Kundalini Spirit into your penile gland and coming, you know, like a spring through your spine.
Right.
Very dangerous stuff.
But yeah, the connection between healing and tongues, I believe so.
I mean, like, but you know, again, you gotta be careful with that too, because if those tongues are not edifying, you might want to tell that person, no, thank you.
Where's the other question here?
Jessica Evans can we celebrate Passover and Good Friday Passover unleavened bread's first fruit That's what he says to observe.
And that's what we do.
As far as the whole churchianity, Catholic aspects of it, I don't even touch it with a 10-foot pole.
So I don't mix the two.
We know what the Father says in His Word about mixing Him with worldly religions.
He does not like it.
And so for me and our family, no.
Won't even won't even combine won't even do it.
No Yeah, cuz a good Friday as thing is like doubt the crucifixion whenever took place on there because that's our prep for the Sabbath and I believe um, I guess with some kind of pagan holiday that you Anna whatever the case if we go it was but the Bible specifies he was crucified on the high Sabbath and You know, and just say, alright, Friday to Sunday, you know, what the churches teach, is not even 48 hours.
Because they open it to Sunday morning, that's not even two days.
He said three days and three nights, that's 72 hours.
And we cover those shows all together, and actually Easter's coming along, so we do a show on that.
Let me see.
Callan Fudge, the statement she says, it amazes me how simple the scripture lays it out when you actually read it.
And the churches make it so complicated.
Exactly 100% true, Callan.
The churches make it so difficult and complicated.
And what they'll do too is they'll give you a pamphlet or something, right?
To support their religious dogma, this is what they do.
And they'll put a verse, right?
A verse that might sound somewhat, one single verse out of context, might sound something like what they're trying to say, right?
Then they'll drop Tons of verses, you know, frog hopping all over the Bible.
They know damn well 99.9% you're not going to read all those verses.
Then if you take each one of those verses into context, it's nothing to do with what they're talking about.
And, you know, they string together verses all the time because, again, they know you're not going to challenge it.
They know you're not going to read all those things.
So, alright, you know, they're Bible verses.
I'm just going to believe it.
But it might be tedious, but if your church is telling you something you're not too keen about, and they give you a scripture, then they'll follow up with a bunch of other scriptures, take that time, because more than likely, that verse, the number one verse they give you is completely out of context, and the other supporting verses have nothing the heck to do with it in the first place.
So, that's something you might want to do to challenge your church, when they come up with something that you know in your heart, because the Holy Spirit speaks to your heart.
You know what I mean?
And if you know something's wrong, man, and the Bible says to challenge every spirit.
If there's nothing wrong, right in the middle of the congregation, challenge him.
If the pastor speaks something wrong, stop the whole thing.
Say, hey, listen, you said this and that.
I don't mean to interrupt you, but you need to clarify this.
You know, this is not what the prescription says.
And correct him right there.
Because if not, he'll continue to go on teaching other people these lies, you know?
You know, in Remnant Restoration, we were going through Matthew chapter 23.
In the beginning of the chapter, of course, we were finishing up.
You know, what Jesus says to the scribes and Pharisees, He says this, and He says, So when the scribes and Pharisees would sit in the seat of Moses, they would read from the Torah verbatim.
So Jesus is saying, when they're sitting there reading the Torah, listening to that, yes, Observe and do, he said, but do not ye after their works, for they say and do not.
For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be born, and lay them on men's shoulders, but they themselves will not move them with one finger.
So, in other words, they were teaching from the seat of Moses the Torah, yet when they got up, they completely and utterly
Destroyed it by the way they lived and you know do as I say but don't do as I do kind of a thing and that's where we're at today with a lot of the 501c3 brick-and-mortars and they're making it up as they go and They're deceiving people and when it comes to one of these topics You know, it is a cash grab for them and it's and it's detestable in many ways many many ways Exactly.
Jesus warned us about this.
Yep.
Yes, he did.
And Jennifer asks, is Good Friday biblical?
We just covered that.
I give that a hard no.
And I know John... No, I'm not touching it with a 10-foot pole.
Yeah.
And Irish Bull, he needs help with how to celebrate Passover the proper way.
I think you did a show on that, is that correct?
Do you have a show on...
Yeah, Patricia and I have done Passover shows.
There's many over on NowYouSeeTV.
Again, you know, Passover is very intimate.
And when you take yourself back to Exodus, you know, even if you take it back to Noah's Ark and you do your history study and you realize that during that time was Passover, it's an amazing study.
But go over into Exodus when God said he's going to put to death all the firstborn in Israel.
That's a magnitude I can't even fathom.
Seriously.
But this was a stake against the Pharaoh, letting the people go.
And what did they have to do?
They had to put paint or blood of a lamb over the doorpost and they could go in with their staffs and eat the Passover lamb standing up.
Okay, with bitter herbs and nothing with yeast and of course he lays out what it is.
But when you get to it and you realize that the temple is destroyed, there's no high priest except for our Messiah who's at the right hand of the Father.
He becomes our Passover lamb and then you memorialize it.
Do the best you can.
But here's the point I want to make about Passover that I wish I would have realized at the beginning.
Yes, it was about Messiah and I made it about him.
But this is a very huge learning opportunity for the body of Christ, about learning about what He has done for us.
It's always about what He's done for us, and being able to teach it to the next generation.
No matter, you know, if He tarries longer, we've got to be teaching our kids.
It's not about, do I cook the lamb this way?
Do I Stand with the staff, do I. If you're making this about Jesus Christ being the Passover lamb, the unleavened bread, and our first fruits, which is a promise of everlasting life, being like Christ, you are doing an excellent job.
We can't keep it perfectly because there's no temple, and there's no high priest at the temple, and we're to memorialize it.
There are certain aspects about Passover that we keep Again, you know, we don't invite anybody that does not believe in Jesus Christ.
They will not share our table.
And again, that's the immigration policy, right?
But it's a very intimate thing.
If you're learning about our Passover Lamb, who's Messiah Christ Jesus, you're learning that the unleavened bread was the sin that He took for us of the stripes.
And of course, when you pull unleavened bread out of the oven, it has many stripes.
And that is what He bared for us.
He bared the price of our sin.
And then first fruits, and these Passover and leavened bread and first fruits are all together.
And when on the third day, the victory over sin and death was then and there, and it's everlasting.
And whoever comes to Christ will not be turned away, but will be given everlasting life.
And how do you know that?
By the fruits of their spirit, by obedience and staying in repentance.
And that is Passover.
That we cannot, for anything we do, recover from the sin that we've caused in our lives and others.
There's only one who can heal, and that's the blood of Christ, the Passover Lamb.
And if you're making Passover all about Him, you're doing a good thing.
And each time you observe it and you learn as you read your scriptures, you'll incorporate things.
And you'll not do certain things.
And, of course, that's maturing as believers in Christ.
And when we first did Passover in our home, it was at a makeshift little table with a little lamb, a little bit of herbs, and the unleavened bread.
And it was just the four of us, and we had no idea what we were doing.
And it wasn't emotion, but we felt a peace in our home that we had never felt before.
And I wished I could express it In a way that you guys would understand, but there was, and I don't want to ever go back to the chaotic lifestyle of living, you know, pagan holidays and doing man-made things and feeling religious.
I want a relationship.
And that's what these Holy Feasts do.
They immerse you into Him, learning about Him and why He does things and knowing that the signs of the times are all about the Holy Feast days.
There's so much about them.
But each time you're allowed to observe Him, you grow into a deeper, more nourishing relationship with Messiah than the last.
And that's what it's all about.
And people, you know, get caught up on calendars, they get caught up on how to do this or how to cook that or doing that.
It's about your relationship with Him.
And if it's deepening your relationship with Him, that's why He set up the Holy Feast days.
Not only as, you know, prophecy, That we are to watch and look up during every Holy Feast day.
Because, you know, that hour, we don't know.
But it's also about teaching you about Jesus Christ.
And every Holy Feast day does that.
And it does that in ways that, you know, These pagan holidays that we've been indoctrinated with do not do at all.
Period.
When you start doing it the biblical way and you start learning and maturing as Christians, there's nothing better.
There's nothing and there's no going back for a lot of you because you already know it.
Sorry Dan, it's early in the morning.
I'm getting slap happy here.
No problem.
I was starting to laugh because I was thinking the same thing.
If we went, you know, could you imagine some people live in an apartment building something, you're dragging a lamb, a live lamb into there, you're killing it, then you're putting the blood on the doorways outside.
Your neighbors are going to think, oh, okay, what the heck's going on here?
You know, people don't understand.
I think some kind of satanic ritual or something.
I'm sure the landlord wouldn't appreciate that but yeah I agree like last year I just tried my best you know I mean we're not gonna get a perfect you know to do the the Passover but you know like it was cool because the same thing happened I'm sitting there and you know trying the best with the Passover and I even did a communion you know I took the matzah and some wine did a communion it was all by myself and I felt it was it was such a great feeling
Yeah, because it was something for real I'm doing in my life versus what I used to think were, you know, Christian holidays, Easter at the time.
And now, it's like now knowing the truth and you actually feel it.
It's amazing.
So that's a good, really good question, Irish Bowl, how to celebrate Passover in which John and Patricia Hall's got them on the shows at.
And Kenny K says about tongues here, how about tongues as a private prayer language that Paul spoke about?
Yeah, Paul spoke about it, and there are many people out there that do.
And I've spoken to many folks who state that they speak in tongues when they're in private, and it's for edification of themselves, right?
That's what Paul said.
He didn't say it was horrible or bad, but there are folks who do.
Like I said, the Holy Spirit, it's the same Holy Spirit that brooded over the waters in the beginning that was sent to us on Pentecost, and He's not changing.
If it's within the confines of the word of our Father, you bet.
And I've talked to many people who say they do, you know.
And I praise God for it.
I praise God that they are.
Amen.
Like I said, that little experience of my dream there.
So, I mean, like, yeah, if it's private, you know what I mean?
So, the whole thing is if other people understand it or not, there's no other people involved.
So, if you understand it, yes.
It's of God, you know what I mean?
So, uh, that eliminates that altogether.
And, um, Joe Adams, uh, he talks about what he does.
Uh, which I got one of these in the mail too, Joe.
Uh, Joe Adams is saying, I got a letter in the mail to buy a prayer rug.
There was a testimony that a lady ended up getting $27,000 after the first time she used it.
I was like, come on, really?
So they send these actually little pieces in the mail too.
You're supposed to do something with it and you gotta send it back and you're gonna get these riches and blessings.
They send things of water.
I mean all kinds of crazy stuff in the mail and the best thing I know you get the letter but if you actually got any of these items guys I would highly suggest for you first of all to say a prayer a covering over that thing to rebuke its evil because it's pure evil right and burn the thing don't throw it away burn it and now that's what I that's what I used to do and I highly suggest And what would you do, John?
Burn it?
It would, yeah, it would not remain in the house.
It would be destroyed.
Absolutely.
I would not get, you know, because that was, you know, when we first threw the Christmas tree out eight years ago.
Wow.
She had to remind me of this earlier on.
You know, the discussion did come up, you know, should we give it to somebody who doesn't have one?
It's like, you know, I, you know, I had read the scriptures But it didn't sit well with me.
And no, we didn't.
We threw it completely out.
And later, reading scriptures over and over and over again, I realized, don't cause anybody to stumble.
And so when you have these objects or items and you don't know what to do with them, Dan's right.
Get rid of them.
Destroy them.
Don't let them fall in the hands of anyone else to deceive.
Because if it deceived us for the entire life, you know, what will it do to the next family?
So, yeah, destroy it.
Absolutely.
And, yeah, definitely say a prayer after, too.
You know what I mean?
Oh, yeah.
Because who knows what kind of incantations that were prayed upon that, you know, occultic ones, whatever the case, and who knows.
But it never hurts praying anyway.
So definitely pray before, destroy it, and afterwards.
So Jessica Evans is asking, can we celebrate St. Patrick's Day for he believed in God and the shamrock is the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost?
I don't celebrate.
I don't celebrate that, no.
Yeah now I really wouldn't trust that and no offense against the Irish people great people but I would not sell the Celts there and I would not celebrate that because if you notice what's involved too the Book of Kells I haven't really studied too much on that, but there's tons of paganism involved with that.
And like anything else, look at Easter, for example, right?
Easter, you know, the modern day version claims there'll be the resurrection of Jesus when it's nothing to do with Jesus at all.
It's a pagan Ishtar holiday of fertility, whatever the case.
Nothing to do with that at all, you know, Jesus.
So, I would definitely question, I don't know too much about St.
Patrick's, but first of all, for somebody to be deemed a saint, I know the believers are saints, but, you know, in that case, is that the Catholic Church is heavily involved with that.
That alone should put a red flag in your head, and that's something I would definitely question and look further into, but my gut intuition is going with no, because If it was so, the Bible would have told us, you know what I mean?
So, no offense against you or anybody that's Irish, whatever the case, but, you know, I don't believe in that for a minute that the shamrock represents the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Well, you know, I've got a lot of Irish in our background, and of course, you know, there's a lot of folks from our past that really, really liked that day, but again, you know, If it's not of Yahweh, like you said, the Catholic Church, that should be a red flag right there in and of itself.
Yeah, because the Catholic Church is all over that right there.
I don't celebrate it, and again, no offense against Irish people, whatever the case, and I don't mean to offend anybody.
You know, so let me see anybody else here.
So it looks like John's getting tired.
I'm a little bit tired too.
So I'm going to take a couple more questions here and we can call it a night.
Man, I shouldn't have drank all that coffee, Dan.
Why are you wired?
It's like I'm crashing, but at the same time I'm awake.
Yeah.
You know, I was reading, you know, we read from James earlier and this just speaks to the Holy Spirit.
James chapter 3 verse starting in 17 says, But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
Fruit of the spirits.
is so important.
And we can't have any fruit without the Holy Spirit.
And tonight, you know, this topic is important.
And, you know, it's one of my top three or four.
It causes a lot of division when they get on threads or talking about it.
But here's the novelty of it all.
It's just keeping to what the Scripture says and not interpreting it for other people.
You know, the Father speaks to each and every one of us individually because He knows you intimately.
Knows how to speak to you intimately.
And when you open your heart to him, you hear him speak.
You do.
And you see him in your life.
And you see the fruit that is the wisdom from above.
You see the peaceable and the gentleness and how easy it is and to be just to obey it.
The mercy of the good fruits is so important.
And the Holy Spirit is absolutely our comforter in these last days.
And we have our work cut out for us.
We got a whole smorgasbord of absolute cemetery preachers and pastors out there teaching that, you know, all St.
Paddy's Day is OK because it's harmless.
Well, we know what the Father's Word says.
Do not mix me with anything else.
He tells us he's jealous.
And, you know, it all boils down to being obedient to the Holy Spirit.
And just being guided by Him.
Every day.
Absolutely, and I agree.
You're right!
I'm getting tired of that!
I agree 100%, man.
And we'll take one more question here.
And I agree 100%.
And, you know, just let the Holy Spirit lead you.
And again, when we get to... There's a difference.
People don't understand this.
There's a big difference between religion and Scripture.
The Bible is not religion.
People don't understand that.
Half the people I tell, they can't comprehend this.
They're like, what religion are you?
Oh, you're saying I don't belong to any religion.
Well, how could you?
You talk about the Bible and Jesus God.
Yes, but that's not religion.
They can't comprehend that.
Because everything they believe you talk about Bible has got to be associated with religion.
Religion is traditions of men.
You know what I mean?
They're corrupt and evil.
And you know, if you look at every religion, every religion is guilty.
They use other doctrines.
With the Bible, and like I mentioned, the Watchtower, the Book of Mormons, the Catechism.
But the Bible says, do not turn your itchiness to doctrines of men or devils.
Sound doctrine, plain and simple.
Easy as peasy.
Read it for yourself.
I mean, this ain't the words we're gonna talk about the tongues tonight.
This wasn't from John Hall.
It wasn't from Dan Bodondi.
It was from this we showed you.
We showed you scripture we read in this context.
That's number one point to read in this context.
Because if you give ten different people one verse, you could probably have nine, ten different interpretations.
Give that person, all ten people, that verse in this context.
That's like the paragraph of the chapter.
You'll have pure understanding.
There's no room for interpretation.
It's Clara's day.
A 12 year old can understand it.
I'm sorry.
No, it wasn't, you know, and it happened to Christ when he was walking amongst us every time the lawyers They'd send lawyers after him.
They'd send scribes and Pharisees after him.
They'd send the learned after him to test him, to question him.
And each time he did not deviate from the Father's Word.
Would not and did not deviate from what he spoke, the Father spoke.
What the Father spoke, he spoke.
And what they spoke we have in a love letter to us.
And we've got every Tom, Dick and Harry out there trying to tell you what it says.
Let me give you some inside secret knowledge here.
Are you ready?
If you can read, open your Bibles and begin chapter one of Genesis and read all the way through.
And here's another advice.
Do it again.
Do it again.
And do it again so that you're not tossed to and fro by these blowhards out there twisting Scripture to their end.
And that you can reach people just with the Word of God alone.
And that's sufficient.
Yes.
You know, Christ alone, He is sufficient.
I love listening to pastors that are very articulate, very good with words, very charismatic, but I listen to them intently, and if anything is off, I stop listening.
I don't go after them, but what I do is when I encounter somebody who goes to their church or is a part of their denominations, I'm able to say what the preacher said, but bring it back to the Word of God.
It's a novel idea.
Just to keep it on his word.
Absolutely agree a million percent.
And you can't go wrong.
And if somebody says you're wrong, it's like, you know what?
If you say it's not me I'm talking about, I'm just reciting what's in the scripture.
And if you're saying that's wrong, hey, that's your deal with God.
God bless you.
You're the one calling God a liar.
Plain and simple.
Well, yeah, Jesus never argued with any of them.
If you ever noticed it when you read through the Gospels, he dropped the truth and moved on.
That's what he did.
And we say all the time, for it is written.
Then he recited, you know, from Scripture, you know.
Perfectly.
You know, it's the other thing too.
You know how they say the scoffers mocked the book of Daniel, say it came out later, whatever?
So here's the thing, right?
When Jesus recited about the abomination of desolation, he said, for it is written by the prophet Daniel.
He talks about the abomination of desolation.
So if the book of Daniel was written 300 years after Jesus, how is Jesus able to recite the book of Daniel?
You know what I mean?
And these people, when you see things like this, and this is by me reading scripture.
When I read, I think it was Matthew, yeah, Matthew, he talked about, as written in the book of Daniel, the abomination of desolation.
I'm like, wait a minute, hold on.
These so-called scholars said the book of Daniel is written, what, 300 AD, because they try to dismiss the prophecies.
And I'm like, how is Jesus able to recite the book of Daniel Three hundred years before it supposedly was written.
You know, it makes no sense at all.
And so, when you look at scripture, you'll see these things come out of nowhere.
You know what I mean?
And you're like, wow.
And it makes that Bible just that much more true, you know?
So one more question here.
Jennifer S.
Do you two and David Carrico, Midnight Riot, have online Bible classes or plan to ever have one, even for beginners?
And I think this Friday night show, when I do the news, after this, this is what I try to do.
I mean, we cover a subject, then we leave it to open topics, and we just go with it.
And I hope this helps.
Is that Jennifer S. that asked that question?
Yep.
If you go to fojcradio.com, And in the very first page, you'll see Home, you'll see FOJC Radio, and then you'll see Resources.
