[00:00:05]  We're going to take a ride through Watertown to see basically if there's any military posts, checkpoints and so on and hopefully we can get through without getting arrested here.
[00:00:15]  But I'm looking around, every store is closed, the banks are closed, the buildings are all closed and there's a good look here and we're going to drive around also.
[00:00:23]  It's like a ghost town here in the middle of a business day.
[00:00:27]  The KFC's closed, the gas station's closed.
[00:00:29]  We're at a McDonald's and it's a total lockdown.
[00:00:32]  There's police all over McDonald's.
[00:00:34]  I guess there's a parking lot here.
[00:00:39]  Are they closed?

[00:00:56]  We're on Cambridge Street where they detonated control explosives and they're not giving the media no information at all right now.
[00:01:02]  It's just people gathering around, asking questions.

[00:01:05]  And we just talked to a woman who is barred from a house that lives on the street.
[00:01:10]  She's been barred since 7 o'clock this morning with no information given.
[00:01:13]  What kind of announcements did they make to you?
[00:01:16]  This morning, they told us to put our clothes on and get out.
[00:01:20]  Do you get a warning on TV or the radio?
[00:01:21]  On TV, yes.

[00:01:22]  Absolutely.
[00:01:22]  And they give you any information at all as when you can return to your home?
[00:01:25]  Nope.

[00:01:26]  Does it make you suspicious that you have feds crawling all over the place?

[00:01:29]  It made me very nervous this morning seeing FBI blocking off our street and then going down the street and parking in front of people's houses.

[00:01:39]  Did you get a warning on TV or the radio?
[00:01:41]  On TV, yes.

[00:01:46]  They basically told us to stay home and not come out because it was a shelter lockdown all over Cambridge.
[00:01:55]  - Did they disclose to you when they knocked at your door, did they disclose to you what was happening?

[00:02:01]  Just an evacuation.
[00:02:03]  - So they didn't tell you anything at all while you're being evacuated?
[00:02:06]  - No, no. - Did they give you any information at all when you could return to your home?
[00:02:10]  - No, they didn't.
[00:02:12]  So you've been stuck out here for about, what, 12 hours now?

[00:02:15]  With the National Guard, do you ever hear of posse comitatus?
[00:02:18]  No.
[00:02:19]  It's in the Constitution established by Ben Franklin.
[00:02:22]  It prohibits the military to police on American soil to prevent dictatorship.
[00:02:26]  I think under circumstances where there's terrorists blowing up bombs left and right, it might be okay to have the National Guard about.
[00:02:32]  Oh, no, absolutely.
[00:02:33]  That's what they're here for, to do that, but not the police in America.
[00:02:36]  In other words, they're not allowed to arrest people or give any orders.
[00:02:40]  They're allowed to help out disasters, but that's it.
[00:02:43]  And I believe that's what they're doing.
[00:02:45]  Well, I mean, we've seen National Guards giving the police orders and also policing.
[00:02:49]  They even told us we'd be arrested if we crossed different lines.
[00:02:54]  Well, yeah, I mean, it's a state of emergency.
[00:02:56]  So far, it's been about 10 hours or so, and do they give you information as to when you can return to your home?
[00:03:01]  Well, I can find information by myself through my iPhone, but they didn't give any information.
[00:03:09]  How about knowing that there's a bomb over there right now?
[00:03:11]  How does it make you feel?
[00:03:13]  Not safe.
[00:03:14]  But I think it's going to be contained, so it's OK.
[00:03:16]  Anyone cross the line, they'll be taken into custody.
