| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
Hi folks, Dan BadandiFan4Wars.com and today is July 30th of 2012.
And Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency, FEMA, National Guards from Rhode Island and several other states are going to be here in Rhode Island for the next couple days conducting emergency drills for a disaster.
Now I just gotta tip off where they're hiding, basically, where the tents are being set up and everything.
Because I called them today, they went to disclose the information to me, of course.
So, I have a friend who lives out in Exeter, Rhode Island, who just told me, yeah, they're right in my backyard, almost.
And, uh, it's called the LOD Center.
And there's a sign right there, it says VG...
CSC whatever that is and um and I'm assuming that's for the exercise here because I've never seen these but um they live right over here and uh they see military trucks tents from FEMA and everything else here and they just hit me off now so I'm heading down there and I want to see if these drills I want to get on these drills on film to see if these drills require Disarming the American people.
Like they did in Hurricane Katrina.
So, and I want to get the drills on tape here, hopefully.
And I want to question these people.
If these exercises involve disarming the American people.
And we got all the writings on the wall, folks, for martial law.
And this is it right here, folks.
So, let's see what happens.
So, we're going to see what's going on over here.
We got some What's going on man?
Staying a while?
Yeah, I'm depressed so I'm gonna check out the... Just make sure you don't get my name in the pictures because I'm liable.
No problem.
So let's go pop the car and see what's going on.
Multiple national guards.
I know they're adding numbers.
I'll have to look into it.
I'll have to look into it for contact, for phone numbers.
*Clapping* *Clapping* *Clapping* *Clapping* *Clapping* *Clapping* *Clapping* *Clapping* *Clapping* *Clapping* *Clapping*
Hey sir, can I get a comment from somebody?
Who are you with?
I'm at Infowars.com Infowars.com, what's your ID?
Alright, there's a question about these drills.
This is for emergency disasters, is that correct?
Any media is regarded to the field up at the top.
I already talked to them, they told me to come down here.
Who did?
The guy who's at the front.
Oh really?
Yeah, I get it on video, the videos don't lie.
Oh, it doesn't matter.
You're remanded to up there for now, so if you don't mind... I'll have the state police come over and talk to you then.
Well, you got him in the way.
I wasn't there, so... Alright.
Thank you.
We'll have them come over because we want to know what's going on and this is a clue disarm the American people Like these guys did in Katrina Like FEMA did.
No, that wasn't there.
Alright.
Thank you.
Want me to get them?
Yeah.
Hi ma'am.
Do you know what this exercise is about?
Is it disaster drill training?
Okay, do you know if this also includes disarming the American people like they did in Hurricane Katrina?
Okay, thank you, ma'am.
How you doing, sir?
- How you doing?
I just want questions.
This disaster drill training here, now this requires the hurricanes and everything else, disaster drill training.
- Yeah, this is a mock disaster. - I understand that.
Okay, but what I wanna know, and the public wants to know, does this require disarming the American people like they did in Katrina?
- What do you mean disarming the American people?
Well, in Katrina, when FEMA went down to Katrina... That's not part of this drill.
Okay, but I mean, like, it was the same... Are you with the press?
Yes, I am.
I'm with SecondInfoWars.com.
And did you guys have a press area at this time?
We have a press area that's designated tomorrow for any press that wants to come in and watch this.
And what spot is that?
It's going to be up in the field up there for the PIO.
But it's not ready yet?
No, we're not, we're not.
So, no one's really prepared to give an official statement.
Okay, but I'm going to hang around and watch the drills.
Just do me a favor, just stay out of the way.
Oh, absolutely.
Don't go near the command center while the people are working, alright?
Oh, I'm sorry, I'm not here to disturb anyone.
If you want to hang out over here, on this side of the road, but don't go up to people.
The thing is, I'm concerned because what they did in Katrina, FEMA didn't help nobody out.
They disarmed the American people, legal gun owners, they took their guns, and they said it was in the guns of disaster.
I'm an investigative reporter.
No, I'm an investigative reporter.
I'm not mainstream media, sir.
I'm not...
Well, you can't do that, sir.
It's called the First Amendment of the Constitution.
Unless you write the Constitution, you can't do that.
This is state property.
We can remove you any time.
I'm being nice to you.
I'm just telling you... Okay, I'm not trying to cause a problem, sir.
I'm just concerned, like every other American people, if they're going to disarm us like they did in Hurricane Katrina.
That's not going to be an issue here today.
We don't practice to disarm people.
Well, I understand that.
I mean, I just wanted to ask a question.
You want to ask an official question?
I can't answer that.
No, I understand, sir.
You're asking something that doesn't exist.
What if?
Okay?
This is what if there's a mock disaster.
How are we going to respond to it?
Exactly.
Not how we're going to disarm people or harm people.
Well, that's what they did in Katrina.
That's what I'm just making aware of.
Well, this isn't Katrina, okay?
There were mistakes learned made in Katrina.
I'm sure lessons learned.
Yeah, I understand that.
This is state property.
Okay, I'll stay out of people's way then.
Thank you, sir.
On that side of the road over there, okay?
Yeah, but how am I supposed to view any exercise over there?
You can view it from over there, alright?
Actually, I'm not even sure you can be past where that barrel is, but I haven't ascertained that yet.
Mark said he wants them down in the field for now.
Especially because I haven't set up yet.
Where those guards are by the table, you can wait down by there.
Alright, but do you know where the drills are going to take place?
Way down there.
But how am I going to see down there?
You're not going, probably going.
Yeah, but sir, this is a public event.
I mean, this is a constitution here.
I mean, I'm not trying to argue or fight with you, but this is our public... Listen, if I could let you in there, I would, but I don't have the authority to do it, number one.
I understand.
And number two, it is public property, but this event is closed to the public.
I understand.
Okay?
Femur scum, you know what I mean?
Some of you told I have to go up to the entrance and the opposite end where the drills are taking place.
Femur and National Guard officials told me to return the next day to It's going to be open to the press because they went set up yesterday.
So I returned.
I stopped at the gate as you can see up ahead.
Hey, how's it going man?
Hello, I'm with the press.
I'm looking for, like, what time is your drill set?
You're doing your press?
Yeah.
Who are you with?
Infowars.com.
Okay, where you're going to have to go is you're going to have to turn around.
See that command post right there?
That's where our public affairs is.
Oh, the trail?
Right.
It's still a little bit early.
It might not be open.
Okay.
But that's who you check in with, and they'll hook you up with somebody, because we can't just let you into the press.
Yeah.
All right.
You can actually turn around right here.
Yep.
And hook up with them.
There is a fan there, so I'm assuming somebody's there.
All right.
Okay?
Good enough.
Thank you.
I stopped there and they told me to come to the command center to my left here.
And as you can see, it's about four hours later.
There's still nobody here.
And I think I'm getting a runaround, which I know I am.
I asked several individuals when the exercise is taking place.
Nobody knows nothing.
Playing completely stupid.
And we're going to hang around a little while longer, see what goes on, and see if we can get any more answers.
This is Dan Badandi reporting.
I'm tired of waiting around here.
It's been four hours or so.
A little over four hours now.
So I'm going to go down to the gate and ask some questions.
Basically questions about the drill.
So here we go.
Yeah, I just got a question on this drill over here.
There's nobody around here for a while.
This drill here, is this an emergency disaster drill?
It is.
And this drill at all, does it involve disarming the American people?
Like they did out in Katrina?
Uh, not really, no.
I don't believe so.
Okay, good.
Alright, I mean, I just wanted the general information of what the drill's about.
Hurricane?
I mean, I'm kind of surprised that that isn't manned yet.
Yeah.
You knocked on the door and nobody answered?
No.
Oh, you didn't knock on the door?
I mean, I know somebody was in there.
I'm sure.
Yeah.
But, I mean, that's the command post.
Alright.
I know you can't let me in.
I mean, if you wanted to get in, that would be the way to go.
Alright.
No, I just wanted to ask, in case I don't see anybody there, I just wanted to ask general questions, like, you know, basically the whole exercise.
And the femurs, are they controlling this?
Yeah, I'm not really sure.
I mean, you're filming me right now.
Yeah.
And that's a no-no.
Well, it's our First Amendment, sir.
No, I mean, you're asking me questions that I can't answer.
Yeah, I understand.
Thank you.
Okay?
Alright.
Thank you, sir.
Any questions, you go ahead and go to Public Affairs.
That's who you want to talk to.
