- I stamped on the Fours.com.
What a great day for freedom, folks.
We're live here in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
We've got a group of about 2,000 people standing for a war memorial.
It's just because there's a cross on that group.
All the way from Wisconsin, an 18th group wants the cross removed.
And you've got about 2,000 to 3,000 people standing here strong.
I stand here for liberty, freedom, and the First Amendment, and the Declaration of Independence, to keep that cross there.
The separation of church and state does not mean to abolish Christianity.
It means so the government can't force religion onto the people, and also protects religion as well.
But these group of atheists seem to think they can manipulate the Constitution, when our Constitution clearly states we have the freedom of expression in religion, speech, and thereof.
But again, 3,000 people standing here strong in Wausauke, Rhode Island.
And it's a great day for liberty here in the United States of America.
And this is Dan Bedoglio reporting for n4wars.com.
*music*
Dan Bedandi reporting for Infowars.com.
Standing next to me is Lt.
Gen.
A. Cintracchio.
Why are you here today?
What's going on?
Who's trying to take this cross down?
We have a group out of Wisconsin that supposedly have a client that wants the monument removed because it happens to have an unlawful owner.
The fact is, it's a war memorial.
It has a cross on it because the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice that this memorializes just happened to be Christian.
I would be standing here once again if there was a Star of David on the monument, or a crescent moon.
The point is, this is a war memorial and nothing else.
Exactly.
And how badly do they misinterpret the First Amendment to these people?
Totally.
Even if it is religion, the First Amendment protects that.
And the separation of church and state, people badly misinterpret that.
It's supposed to, so the government can never force religion.
And also, it protects religion.
And how badly is that being misinterpreted today?
Totally.
They don't understand it as far as I'm concerned.
I think they abuse the Constitution when they try to take out of context what exactly they're trying to do here.
I think the benefit of this particular thing is they're attempting to make this memorial a religious artifact.
It is not.
It's a historical part of our past, our culture, and our society at the time.
That cross represents what the faith was, and continues to be, of the family and the veterans that they represent.
Thank you, General.
God bless you.
Thank you.
The man that put this together, our leader, the defender of the monument, let's have a big round of applause, General Centracchio!
Thank you everybody.
Certainly thank you for being here.
We have one simple message.
That monument stays where it is, how it is.
There's no negotiation.
That line of the sand I talked about is right here.
Woonsocket, Rhode Island is the place that the United States is going to finally turn around and have a purpose and a sense of value once again.
And it starts with that monument.
There's also someone that I think is extremely important to be recognized.
Bernadette Joclair.
Bernadette Joclair is a gold star mother.
She's on that monument.
Her three sons, the Gagney sons, gave the final, ultimate sacrifice in World War II.
The Gagney brothers were part of the Joclair Monument.
We need to keep that in mind.
This is who we are.
This is America at its best.
God bless.
I'll be back in a little bit.
He is the mayor of Woonsocket, Leo Fontaine.
Thank you so much.
Welcome to One Socket!
I can tell you, after learning this and really personalizing what this is all about, it has renewed my sense of resolve to fight for this monument.
We will continue to stand strong.
If Mrs. Gagne can give her three sons, I can give a fight for her son's monuments.
applause So let us say right here and right now that when this is all over, not only will we renew and rebuild this monument, there will be a new monument for Mrs. Gagne right next to it.
So as the General said, the line in the sand is drawn, and we will fight, and we will fight.
And if we lose, if they determine to come and take this monument, they will have to take me with it and everybody here. - Woo!
So to Private Jolico, to all of the Gagney brothers, and Mrs. Gagney, this is my sworn oath to fight for this monument to you and to the great soldiers of this country who gave their lives for this freedom.
To all of you, thank you so much.
We are going to continue to fight.
I ask you to visit the city's website.
We've put up a link to be able to contribute because this fight is going to cost money.
We've promised that if we are able to win this without the need for the money, the money is going to go to rebuild this monument and all of the monuments to our soldiers in the great city of Woonsocket.
In closing, I just want to give my heartfelt thanks to all of the men in uniform here today.
We know that this is tough times in Rhode Island, and it is tough times in Woodsocket.
But when the going gets tough, the tough get going, and we're not going to stand here and let some witch from Wisconsin dictate to us about our monument!
I'd tell that atheist to go to hell, but she doesn't believe in it!
Like they say here in Woonsocket, I'd like to throw her down the stairs with my shoes!
We may be the smallest state, but we don't quit!
And we don't run!
And that monument's gonna stay right where it is.
And we're not gonna cave to an atheist from the cheese head state of Wisconsin.
This is Rhode Island!
The American Legion has a surprise for you as a past Department Commander of the American Legion and a past Department Adjutant.
I want to bring up Mickey to tell you what the surprise is.
He's a National NEC man for the American Legion.
- Thank you, Mickey.
- Okay, you wanna hear a good surprise?
You wanna hear a good surprise? - Yeah!
Mr. Mayor?
I got a, we received a phone call at the beginning of the week from a national judge advocate, and he has told us to go ahead.
We're going to have to have this memorial redone in the same spot.
And they told us to battle that legal battle against these atheists all the way back to Wisconsin, and they will back us up with the money all the way.
Is there anybody alive out there?
We're not done yet?
We don't quit?
Not for Wisconsin?
Not for anybody?
This is Rhode Island!
Round of applause!
Folks up next!
My brother Michael would be with you here today if he didn't lay his life down like all of the veterans who did.
But they are here in spirit.
They are here and they believe in everything that you believe in, which is good, which is right.
And I don't know if anybody said it yet, but there's no such thing as an atheist, and especially no atheist on a deathbed.
They all start to believe in God at that moment.
God bless you all.
But the 6 o'clock news, the stations are going to go live.
So we're going to be nice and loud.
And we're going to be united.
And this story is going to go coast to coast.
The country is watching Rhode Island right now.
And whether it be Fox News or MSNBC, we're going to be very clear.
It's not going to happen in Woodsocket, Rhode Island.
It's not going to happen in Cranston, Rhode Island.
It's not going to happen in Massachusetts.
It's not happening, period, in this state.
Folks, we're going to bring him back.
He's terrific, and he's going to lead us in our initiative.
God bless America.
Let's have a round of applause.
The one and only Tony Nacquatro.
Let's bring it back.
I'm a man of South America, the man that I love.
Stand beside her and guide her through the night with the light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies, to the oceans, life is all.
God bless America, my home sweet home.
Things were gone at work for all my life.
And I had to start again with just my children and my wife.
Thank my lucky stars to be living here today.
Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can't take that away.
And I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land.
God bless the USA.
God bless the USA.
