| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
Hi, this is Dan Bedandi reporting from URI at the University of Rhode Island.
It's April 18, 2012 and we're expecting Ron Paul in about a half hour from now.
And behind me is a good mile to two miles of traffic.
And in front of me is about a mile of traffic all jamming in to get in to see Ron Paul.
Now Mitt Romney came to Rhode Island last week and he didn't even draw half these people.
He had three to four hundred people and most of them were put there by his campaign people.
But, this is amazing.
Now we got over a mile and a half of traffic behind me, over a mile of traffic in front of me.
And um, why is Mitt Romney leading the polls?
the question you wanna ask. - This is all for Ron Paul here.
Randy's here too.
Yeah, you can't miss him.
whatever he's got, "Avalanche" or whatever the hell it is.
Look at, look at Chris, Carol, Kristen.
- I saw a project, I can't stop.
- Ramen pizza.
- What's that?
- What about that? - I'll see you next time. - I'll see you next time. - I'll see you next time. - I'll see you next time. - I'll see you next time. - I'll see you next time. - I'll see you next time. - I'll see you next time. - I'll see you next
time. - I'll see you next time. - I'll see you next time. - I'll see you next time. - I'll see you next time. - I'll see you next time. - I'll see you next time. - I'll see you next time. - Thank you.
Thanks, you guys.
What a wonderful welcome.
And there's a group of about, I don't know, three or four hundred people outside.
I'm from Massachusetts and you must have a border security problem.
- Well, let me out there. - I trust that this is what's going to happen tonight.
I hope that every single one of you will too.
By casting a vote for him in the Rhode Island Republican presidential primary April 24th.
So without further ado, please rise your feet and give them glory.
We'll have a happy hour for 20 years to remain in the next place.
President Trump, President Trump, President Trump,
President Trump, President Trump, President Trump, President Trump, President President Trump!
President Trump!
President Trump!
President Trump! President Trump! President Trump!
*Captions* Alright, Gavin here from www.Words.com And you guys stand here with Ron Paul And Ron Paul, the question today is What were you going to do if you were going to get in as President of the United States?
What would you do against Agenda 21 of the United Nations?
I'd like to get out of the United Nations.
What I'd like to do is I wouldn't want to have any attack on our national sovereignty and that's what Agenda 21 does.
I think it's a threat right now.
They talk about currency reform because they know, but we know that the currency's in trouble.
They'd like to do it under the United Nations.
And I complained tonight in my speech that our president thinks you can go to war under the United Nations.
So when it's at 21, it's just a further step.
And not only do I believe in local sovereignty, individual sovereignty, state sovereignty, and minimal federal government, I just don't think that we should put up with more laws of sovereignty to an international government.
Thank you, sir.
Got it.
And for wars!
Yeah!
Hi sir, are you voting for President of the United States this year?
Well, I heard so many great things about Ron Paul, so I think that probably him.
Ron Paul?
And what's your biggest concern about our government right now?
The impending war with Iran.
It's considered a legitimate threat.
They don't even have any nuclear weapons, but Israel and Pakistan and India do, and us of course.
We have the only I'm writing him in, even if he's not on the ballot.
Just like I did in 2008.
Not Obama.
Ron Paul?
President Paul!
Freedom!
Hi, who do you vote for President of the United States, you should?
Ron Paul.
Ron Paul?
I'm writing him in, even if he's not on the ballot.
Awesome.
Just like I did in 2008.
And which are our favorite views about Ron Paul?
My favorite views?
Well, following politics every day.
I just like the fact that the guy is consistent and he tells the truth.
And he's a just candidate.
And he doesn't bow to the specialist groups, the banks, Wall Street.
There's a guy, I can't remember his name, but he said the bottom line in this country is two types of politicians.
You're either working for Main Street or you're working for Wall Street.
Most of the guys, unfortunately, I'm working for Wall Street, and I guess it's because of the nature of the system.
The nature of the system, the fact that every two years these guys have to get re-elected, and it takes a lot of money.
I think McCain, you know, I'm not a fan of him now, but I think what he... Ron Paul!
Who are you voting for for President?
Ron Paul.
Ron Paul, awesome.
No Obama.
Who are you voting for for President?
Is uh, Ted Nugent?
Ron Paul, baby!
Ron Paul, you're in the Revolution!
Inside job!
Yeah!
2729.
Fuck Bush!
Who you vote for President?
Ron Paul, baby!
Ron Paul, baby!
So you vote for President of the United States?
Ron Paul, all the way.
Awesome.
And what do you like about Ron Paul?
What I like about Ron Paul is that he seems to care more about the people and not being a sellout to the corporate media and the government.
Proof is by the corporate media.
They've told all Rhode Islanders that there's 2.6% Approval rating right now for Ron Paul.
Me and my buddy here, Jace, we went to a bridge over Providence two days ago and we had over a hundred people beep at us.
We had over twelve people talk to us in an hour.
We missed three quarters of the rush hour.
We had a huge support here.
We waited four hours in traffic just to get here.
I mean four miles down the road just to get here.
Oh yeah.
And Mitt Romney drew how many people?
Five, six hundred when we had almost twelve hundred tonight at least?
Alright, thank you.
Good hat, man.
Ron Paul for president?
Absolutely.
And what's your favorite view about Ron Paul?
Ron Paul's a constitutionalist like myself.
He does not compromise when it comes to our individual rights.
Whereas people like Obama, who pass more and more legislation to reduce our individual freedom, and then they claim that we need to pay more taxes to justify a lot of their Crazy spending.
And we all know government is inefficient.
They can't even pave our roads in this state, for Christ's sake.
What makes them think they don't... I don't want them to do anything with my medicine.
I want them out of my bedroom, out of my wallet, and out of my home.
I want independence.
Awesome.
Thank you.
And I noticed you guys support the InfoWars.
...war in Rhode Island, especially in Warwick.
InfoWars.com.
Awesome.
These guys support the InfoWars, so it's great.
