[00:00:00]  A police officer was abducted, and he wasn't the only one.
[00:00:03]  Multiple cases describe the same beings marked by the same emblem.
[00:00:09]  One of these abductions was witnessed by several people and was officially reported by the police as a close encounter of the third kind.

[00:00:48]  I was riding my bike on the clay driveway, and I look up, and there's like a triangle, like a sticker, like a black.

[00:00:58]  It was huge.
[00:00:59]  And I looked down and I'm actually floating off the ground and my toes are pointed to the ground.
[00:01:07]  My arms are level like my body, but they weren't out sticking.
[00:01:10]  And it just kept looking at this triangle.
[00:01:11]  And then it just rotated and slowly moved off the top of the pine trees.
[00:01:12]  And then I looked down and I'm still standing on the ground again.
[00:01:12]  So I don't know what it was, but ever since then, There's been like occurrences that happen where I will see things of different shapes and sizes.

[00:01:14]  My name is Chris Ramsey, and today we are going to be taking a look at one of the most infamous abduction cases in the history of the United States of America.
[00:01:23]  This is the story of Herbert Shermer.
[00:01:26]  The reason it's one of the most important cases of abductions is that Shermer was a police officer, but not only that, he'd also served in the United States Navy and was awarded the National Defense Service.
[00:01:38]  Medal.
[00:01:38]  So, a very credible witness indeed.
[00:01:42]  This case happened in the 60s.
[00:01:43]  It was investigated by the Condon Committee.
[00:01:46]  There was hypnotic regression involved.
[00:01:48]  And beyond all that, there are also some really interesting connections to be made to other cases, which we're going to look into namely, Filiberto Cardenas, Bill Herman, and of course, the Lacerda files.

[00:03:31]  We've basically pulled a transcript from one of his talks that was recorded.
[00:03:37]  So we'll be reading through that.
[00:03:38]  But also, there are some other information that has surfaced.
[00:03:42]  Wait and see how all of this connects because it connects in a way that was to me completely unexpected.
[00:03:49]  I was reading through this case and I started going, wait a minute, what about this?
[00:03:53]  What about that?
[00:03:54]  Oh my God, this connects to that.
[00:03:56]  This case over here, the craft is the same.
[00:03:59]  The beings are the same.
[00:04:00]  The symbols are the same.
[00:04:02]  Very interesting stuff we're all going to get into.
[00:04:04]  I'm very excited about this episode.

[00:04:52]  To give you a bit of a history here, he served from 1964 to 1967 in the U.S. Navy.
[00:04:59]  When he retired from the Navy, now his father was retired Air Force at the time and following in his father's footsteps, you know, he kind of wanted to be enlisted as well.
[00:05:09]  But then subsequent to that, he found himself a little bit lost and thinking, man, you know, I have all these skills.
[00:05:15]  What do I do with it?
[00:05:17]  He decides to become a police officer in Ashland, Nebraska.
[00:05:21]  Now, what's really interesting about December 3rd, 1967, the alien encounter of Herbert Shermer, is In his police log, he actually logged in that he saw a flying saucer, which is kind of crazy.
[00:05:36]  Like, I mean, we'd expect police officers at least to keep that information.
[00:05:40]  You don't want to put that out there, maybe fear of ridicule.
[00:05:44]  But yeah, he did indeed log that in as such.
[00:05:48]  This is a transcript directly from an interview with Herbert Shermer.
[00:05:52]  Now, in here, I think he pretty much goes over the entire sequence of events based on both hypnotic regressions that he went through.
[00:06:05]  Whereas at first, he didn't really know what happened.
[00:06:09]  He just had some missing time and checked his logbook to find that he had written down at 2 30 a.m., December 3rd, 1967, I saw a UFO at Junction 6 and 63, believe it or not.
[00:06:21]  It was only then that the case got investigated by the Condon Committee and that they.
[00:06:26]  Suggested to Mr. Shermer to go and visit Dr. Leo Sprinkle, who was the regression hypnotherapist that they used for such contactee cases.
[00:06:39]  So Sprinkle obviously was already familiar with UFO abductions.
[00:06:45]  That would have been his first session then.
[00:06:48]  Now, after that, Shermer was incredibly ridiculed at the police office, I mean, by the media, by so many different people.
[00:06:56]  Eventually, he just.
[00:06:58]  Retired and then went to go see another hypnotherapist, Loring G. Williams in Des Moines, Iowa, to have his second regression.
[00:07:08]  He resigned from the police office a few months after due to stress and ridicule.
[00:07:13]  What we're going to read is a transcript of an interview with him, but again, he takes into account all of his regression sessions.

[00:07:20]  There's no pause in between.
[00:07:22]  This is the story how his mind remembers it.
[00:07:26]  It was around 2 30, actually.
[00:07:27]  I think it was the time that this happened, but right around 2 20, I was just checking two gas stations.
[00:07:33]  I left the two gas stations, excuse me.
[00:07:35]  I left the last gas station that I checked to pull onto the highway, and I was making radio contact with the Wahoo Sheriff's Office because we didn't have radio communications available in the city at nighttime because we couldn't afford it.
[00:07:47]  So I told them that everything was all secure.
[00:07:49]  I pulled onto the highway and putting the mic down, I seen some flashing lights in front of me.
[00:07:55]  First appeared to me to be a truck, I thought.
[00:07:58]  As I got closer and put the high beams of the lights on the patrol car on this, this object started raising.
[00:08:05]  These lights started raising up in the air to about 40 feet.
[00:08:09]  I think I was something like 50 yards from this.
[00:08:12]  These lights were flashing, and as they got bigger, as I got closer, it seemed like they were red flashing lights coming out of a porthole, which sort of circled the craft.
[00:08:22]  It had like a catwalk going around the center of it.
[00:08:25]  It was shaped like a football, very metallic, like a very shiny bumper.
[00:08:31]  If you polished a bumper on a car, it had a sort of reddish orangey glow coming from beneath it.
[00:08:37]  And then there was this white flash that came onto me in the patrol car.
[00:08:41]  It felt as if we were being pulled.
[00:08:45]  And then it was being pulled.
[00:08:47]  We were being pulled up to the side of this bank to the left of the road and up towards this fill, the car and I.
[00:08:52]  I felt nothing.
[00:08:54]  At first, I felt kind of stunned and shocked.
[00:08:58]  And then I felt sort of tingly.
[00:09:00]  And as the car and I moved up the bank to the top of this fill, this object landed and some legs came out and it sat down.
[00:09:09]  I was just sitting there really emotionless.
[00:09:12]  I couldn't move.
[00:09:13]  I may have even had my mouth open.
[00:09:14]  I don't remember, you know, being probably scared.
[00:09:18]  This hatch came open, and this light came out of the hatch.
[00:09:22]  And this form came down and looked the form of a human being.
[00:09:27]  And this form started walking toward the patrol car with an object in both its hands, appeared to be hands.
[00:09:33]  And he was walking straight toward the patrol car.
[00:09:36]  As he was doing this, another form came out and started walking toward the patrol car also.
[00:09:42]  As this being walked up to the front of the patrol car with this object in his hand, which looked Sort of squarish oval type.
[00:09:48]  It looked like it had a lens in front of it.
[00:09:51]  And the only thing I could think was, oh my God, what's going to happen now?
[00:09:57]  And this green light came out all over the car and it sort of like went back in again.
[00:10:02]  I felt a sensation then.
[00:10:04]  And then I felt nothing, like I was just there and that was it.
[00:10:08]  And this other being started walking up toward the car.
[00:10:11]  I was sitting straight, looking straight.
[00:10:14]  I couldn't even move my head.
[00:10:16]  And he walked up to the car and the window was about three quarters of the way rolled down.
[00:10:21]  And he had an object in his hand, a silver object that looked like a big pencil with a round ball on the end of it.
[00:10:26]  And he pressed it against the side of my neck, which I felt some pain from and said, Ouch.
[00:10:32]  Then he stepped back and I sort of sat there and he opened up the car door and just went like this.
[00:10:37]  And I sort of raised up out of the patrol car and I was looking at him and he was looking at me and he said, Are you the watchman of this town?
[00:10:46]  And my response was, Yes, sir.
[00:10:49]  He said, Come with me, watchman.
[00:10:51]  We got up to the hatch to where you went inside of the spacecraft and we just sort of like.
[00:10:56]  Floated up into the first level.
[00:10:58]  And he says to me, Watchman, come with me.
[00:11:00]  We were in a circular room, and there were a lot of cylinders about four and a half feet high, about two feet wide, that circled the whole room.
[00:11:07]  And it had sort of like a cable running through it, two cables running through these.
[00:11:12]  They looked like tall batteries to me.
[00:11:15]  And then, in the center of this room, was a huge cocoon, or, you know, like this shaped object, was spinning, and it was giving off colors like the rainbow, and was about 20 feet long.
[00:11:26]  And it seemed like These cables were coming up and connecting to these two block things that came down each end of it.
[00:11:32]  And we walked the complete circle in there as I said, What is this?
[00:11:36]  And he said, This is how our craft operates.
[00:11:40]  And he said, It operates on electrical reversible magnetism.
[00:11:43]  And then I looked at him, and he said, Come with me, watchman.
[00:11:47]  And we walked back over to where I had come up in with him, and this glass sheet came down, and we stepped onto this, which I felt.
[00:11:54]  And we moved up into the second level of the craft, and lo and behold, I'd never seen anything like it before in my life.
[00:12:01]  So many different types of instrument panels and computer type things that you just wouldn't believe it.
[00:12:08]  This cone thing was right in the center of the floor.
[00:12:11]  You can see half of it from on top and half of it from the bottom.
[00:12:15]  At an unmarked building in the Avery, MS walks inside, and just right there are men in uniform, Indusek, industrial security personnel holding weapons.
[00:12:25]  And then there is a craft just floating there.
[00:12:28]  It is a saucer, almost like a top shaped craft, but there's paneling removed from the bottom where he sees, similar, I know how interested you are in Bob Lazar, an inverted cone type thing.
[00:12:39]  He doesn't know what this is, no idea, but it's like an inverted triangle cone that seems to be free floating in the bottom little jutting out part of the saucer.
[00:12:49]  But it gave off a red glow that sort of.
[00:12:52]  Not flashed, but kind of died down and then came back up again.
[00:12:56]  And he says, Watchman, come with me.
[00:12:58]  And we walked over to a screen that was up on the side.
[00:13:01]  I say wall.
[00:13:02]  It was sort of like a TV screen.
[00:13:05]  And he pressed some buttons and I guess flipped some switches.
[00:13:08]  I wasn't paying too much attention to him.
[00:13:10]  I was looking at the screen.
[00:13:12]  And some stars in the sky appeared on there.
[00:13:15]  And he put his finger up like this and he said, Uh, this is where we're from, Watchman.
[00:13:21]  And then he put his hand back down.
[00:13:22]  He didn't say where.
[00:13:24]  And he didn't say the name, he just pointed.
[00:13:26]  The purpose that we're here is to get electricity.
[00:13:29]  And there was another being standing a little distance away.
[00:13:31]  And the man turned to him, and they both looked at each other.
[00:13:34]  And he started depressing the buttons.
[00:13:36]  And he says, Watch, watchman.
[00:13:38]  And there was this antenna on the outside of the spacecraft, which angled up toward a power unit.
[00:13:43]  And this bolt went out, a color I've never seen before in my life.
[00:13:47]  And I don't even think I could describe it.
[00:13:49]  Went out, came back, and this stayed like this for about three minutes, and then it went off.
[00:13:55]  And he turned and looked at me, and I felt I was getting very, a very, very, an awful lot of roll of input of words I couldn't understand.
[00:14:05]  And he reached up and he touched me on the shoulder.
[00:14:08]  And he felt real when he touched me, and I think at that time I did touch him, and he felt real to me.
[00:14:15]  And he says, Watchman, come with me.
[00:14:17]  We walked back over to the exit.
[00:14:18]  I'll say where we came up, and the glass sheet came down again.
[00:14:22]  And we went up into the third part of the craft, which was the observation deck, he said.
[00:14:27]  And as we stepped off, he said, Watchman, come with me.
[00:14:30]  And we walked over, and we were standing there looking out of a big glass window type thing.
[00:14:35]  And there was a control panel right in front of it.
[00:14:38]  And there were two chairs that looked like dentist chairs, you know.
[00:14:42]  I've ridden a dentist chair, but really a superstructure of a chair, better than a dentist chair.
[00:14:47]  And we looked out the window, and I could see this one being walking back and forth by where my patrol car was.
[00:14:54]  And I think I said, wow.
[00:14:55]  And he put his, he didn't, no, he didn't.
[00:14:58]  He turned to me and he said something I don't understand.
[00:15:01]  And he said some more things that I didn't understand or couldn't make out.
[00:15:04]  And I still don't.
[00:15:06]  And then he pointed his hand toward the plate glass window, as I say, referred to, to the stars out there.
[00:15:11]  And he says to me, Watchman, one day you yourself will see the universe as I have.
[00:15:17]  And he reached up and he touched me on the shoulder, like this you know, like grabbing you on the shoulder, like a man does to steer you away.
[00:15:26]  And he says, Come with me, Watchman.
[00:15:28]  And then he stopped and he said, Watchman, and I turned around like this to look at him.
[00:15:34]  And it felt like I was getting more input of something that I couldn't understand.
[00:15:38]  Then he says, Watchman, come with me.
[00:15:40]  We walked over and we went down all the way out of the craft.
[00:15:44]  As we got outside, this other being started walking back toward the spacecraft and boarded it.
[00:15:49]  As we were walking toward my patrol car, we stopped right by the patrol car and I turned to look at him and he was looking at me.
[00:15:56]  And then again, it felt like I was receiving input of words of some kind that I couldn't understand.
[00:16:02]  And he turned no, he sort of lifted his hand and then he turned and walked back to the spacecraft, floated up inside.
[00:16:09]  The catwalk thing started spinning.
[00:16:12]  The light started flashing off and on.
[00:16:14]  This red orange glow came out from beneath it.
[00:16:19]  It started lifting up in the air, and I guess it got about 100 feet and just shot straight out of sight.
[00:16:25]  Let me tell you, I was scared.
[00:16:28]  I started feeling me again.
[00:16:30]  When I was aboard the spacecraft, I hardly had any feeling at all.
[00:16:34]  My body was tingling, I was perspiring, I was hot, I felt nauseated.
[00:16:39]  I got back into the patrol car, I turned it around, and I headed back for the police station.
[00:16:45]  On the way to the police station at a high rate of speed, I tried to make communication with Wahoo Sheriff's Office, and it appeared the radio was dead.
[00:16:53]  I got to the station, I jumped out of the car in a fast walk, walked into the police station, and I noticed a wall clock in the police station said one minute after 3 a.m.
[00:17:04]  Well, I went directly to the bathroom.
[00:17:06]  No, to go to the bathroom, but to drink water because I was hot.
[00:17:11]  And I walked back into the main room of the police station.
[00:17:14]  We had a real small police station.
[00:17:16]  It was about 20 by 20, and I sat there at the table and I lit a cigarette and I said, Wow, what the hell happened?
[00:17:27]  Something happened to me.
[00:17:29]  Did I really see a flying saucer?
[00:17:32]  Did this really happen to me?
[00:17:35]  I looked at my report log and I remembered through all the training and everything I went through that, regardless of the nature of what it was, put it in your report book because you just might need it.
[00:17:46]  So I looked at my report book and I got my pen out and I wrote at 2 30 a.m., December 3rd, 1967, I saw a UFO at junctions 6 and 63, believe it or not.
[00:17:59]  Now, this was followed by another police officer that came in, according to Mr. Shermer.
[00:18:06]  He says, At about 6 30 that morning, a fellow officer came in and I explained to him what happened to me.
[00:18:12]  And the fellow officer says, I believe you, Herb.
[00:18:15]  One time I was on my way to Wahoo, Nebraska, and I was driving down the road.
[00:18:18]  I looked over.
[00:18:19]  Lo and behold, there were two UFOs sitting in a field, and these little green men were out there walking around it, waving at me.
[00:18:27]  I said, Sure, Paul.
[00:18:29]  And he says, I don't think you should tell anybody, Herb, because I don't think anybody's going to believe you.
[00:18:34]  Matter of fact, you're going to lose your job if you tell the people.
[00:18:38]  But I said, Paul, it's the truth.
[00:18:40]  He said, Well, you know, he said a lot of people won't accept the truth.
[00:18:46]  I said, Well, I'll wait for the chief.
[00:18:48]  He says, No, I'll go on home.
[00:18:51]  So I went home.
[00:18:52]  And I was, you know, I really felt like everything was drained completely out of my body.
[00:18:57]  And I laid down on the couch, and as I laid there, I started getting a buzzing feeling in my head.
[00:19:03]  And I felt like I was being.
[00:19:06]  I had pressure on my body.
[00:19:07]  I couldn't move my arms.
[00:19:09]  I couldn't, you know?
[00:19:11]  How you try to open your mouth and you can't say, help?
[00:19:13]  I was trying to say, help, you know?
[00:19:17]  And then I went off to sleep, and the phone rang, and it was the chief.
[00:19:21]  And the chief says, get your butt down to the station right now.
[00:19:25]  What is this?
[00:19:26]  You mean you've seen a UFO?
[00:19:28]  I said, I don't feel good.
[00:19:29]  I'm sick and I'm not coming down to the police station.
[00:19:32]  He said, I'll be right over.
[00:19:34]  So the next thing, the TV came in, press came in, you know, newspapers, radio stations, and telephone calls started coming in.
[00:19:43]  And two days later, ridicule started coming in, believe me.
[00:19:47]  And I had a man run three blocks, huffing and puffing.
[00:19:50]  He owned a Goodyear tire shop near Ashton, Nebraska, and he wrote me Herb, if you ever see another flying saucer and it lands, you tell them I want to sell them a set of tires.
[00:20:00]  The phone rang.
[00:20:01]  This is the planet Mars, you know, I mean.
[00:20:04]  Really ridiculous stuff.
[00:20:05]  I think, though, being here in Florida, one of the neatest walkings I got was right out here in the lobby.
[00:20:12]  The gentleman out there selling books, and I walked up and he says, Herb Shermer?
[00:20:15]  I says, Yes, my name is so and so.
[00:20:18]  And I was taken aboard a police cruiser, and I thought that was neat.
[00:20:21]  Some key takeaways from Shermer's story are that A, his car sort of broke down, which is not uncommon for UFO encounters.
[00:20:32]  B, the beings, Seemed benevolent.
[00:20:35]  They didn't seem to want to do him any harm.
[00:20:39]  And C, once aboard the craft, they took him to all sorts of different levels, showed him around, gave him the tour of the ship, which is once again not uncommon during abductions.
[00:20:52]  Also, the physical sensations that he felt is something that reverberates throughout the UFO abduction history, namely this sort of tingly feeling, which I thought was really interesting, and the fact that he really couldn't look away from them, which we'll get into in a second.
[00:21:09]  And then post abduction was this feeling of being ill, this sickness, almost like radiation poisoning.
[00:21:16]  Now, we've seen this with Antonio Villas Boas, and we've seen this with honestly so many other abduction cases, including a few that we're going to look into in just a second.
[00:21:26]  Now, folks, there are some really, really interesting connections that I urge you to stick around for later on in the video because the beings themselves, their uniforms, and their emblems actually show up in what seems to be multiple other abduction encounters.
[00:21:44]  And right now, I've just been informed that we have Herbert Shermer's, or one of Herbert's, Herbert Shermer.
[00:21:50]  I'm just going to say Herb because Herbert Shermer sounds, I can't say it without sounding like Kermit the Frog.
[00:21:57]  Reporting here for Herbert Shermer, we have, pardon me, Herb's regression session.
[00:22:04]  Now, the first one he did with Dr. Leo Sprinkle was given to Herb, and we just don't have access to that one.
[00:22:14]  Now, he's come out and Several interviews and sort of drop little things here and there, and researchers have dropped little things here and there.
[00:22:20]  But in a book that I just found out that was published called God's Demons and UFOs, we have Loring G. Williams, the hypnotist from Hinsdale, New Hampshire.

[00:22:34]  We have his regression session recorded at the Holiday Inn in Des Moines, Iowa.
[00:22:39]  And here's what emerged from Shermer's mind.
[00:22:43]  So, Williams being the hypnotist and Shermer being the subject.
[00:22:49]  When I count to three, you're going back to the morning of December 3.
[00:22:52]  Just before you approach the UFO.
[00:22:55]  One, two, three.
[00:22:58]  What are you doing?
[00:22:59]  Driving down the highway, listening to a wreck report on the police radio.
[00:23:04]  It's a bad wreck out on the interstate highway.
[00:23:07]  Hmm.
[00:23:09]  What's the matter?
[00:23:11]  Thought I saw something.
[00:23:12]  Hmm.
[00:23:14]  What did you see?
[00:23:16]  What time is it?
[00:23:16]  I better check my watch.
[00:23:18]  Well, what time is it?
[00:23:21]  2 30 in the morning, huh?
[00:23:24]  What's that up ahead?
[00:23:25]  There's something on the road ahead.
[00:23:27]  Probably a trucker with a flat tire.
[00:23:29]  I'll turn on my brights.
[00:23:31]  Whoa!
[00:23:32]  The row of lights are very bright.
[00:23:35]  They're flashing.
[00:23:36]  The red lights are flashing real fast.
[00:23:38]  My God!
[00:23:40]  What is that thing?
[00:23:42]  What?
[00:23:43]  It's leaving the place and going up on the hill.
[00:23:46]  I'd better follow.
[00:23:48]  Where are you now?
[00:23:49]  Going up the hill toward the light.
[00:23:52]  It's very bright, very, very bright.
[00:23:54]  The lights are flashing.
[00:23:55]  I'll call.
[00:23:57]  I'll call.
[00:23:58]  Who are you going to call?
[00:24:01]  The police at Wahoo.
[00:24:03]  408, Wahoo, 408.
[00:24:04]  Come in, Wahoo.
[00:24:06]  The radio ain't working.
[00:24:08]  What happened to the engine?
[00:24:09]  What is that thing?
[00:24:10]  Describe it for me.

[00:47:47]  Fact is, I never really noticed whether they were breathing or not.
[00:47:50]  Hmm, that puzzles me.
[00:47:51]  Huh.
[00:47:53]  I can't forget those eyes.
[00:47:55]  He is looking at me.
[00:47:56]  He's not blinking or anything.
[00:47:57]  He's looking directly at me with those cat's eyes.
[00:48:03]  The cat's eyes is also very interesting.
[00:48:07]  Immediately, I'm reminded of Lacerda, the reptilian or reptile like species that also have these sort of cat's eyes, these vertical slits.
[00:48:20]  And as you'll see a little bit later, the emblem which is described by Lacerda is actually one and the same.
[00:48:27]  That is described here by Mr. Shermer.
[00:48:31]  And we'll get into that.
[00:48:31]  And there are other cases as well.
[00:48:33]  Very, very interesting find.
[00:48:36]  This has been a very long session, and you've been very cooperative.
[00:48:38]  Now you'll remember everything that occurred here this afternoon.
[00:48:41]  Your mind will open up to recall other details that you may have forgotten.
[00:48:46]  As his memory of the missing minutes aboard the flying saucer was restored, Herb Shermer reported the flying saucer was equipped with a robot controlled baby moon.
[00:48:57]  He used Baby Moon because it looked like a moon shaped hubcap.
[00:49:02]  The device was a saucer shaped object approximately six feet in diameter.
[00:49:07]  It was constructed of the same silverish metal as the saucer.
[00:49:11]  It was just a plain disc shaped object with no openings or antenna that he could see.
[00:49:16]  Shermer recalled They told me it was used for reconnaissance and surveillance of an area.
[00:49:21]  As I understood them, the Baby Moon shot out of the saucer and checks out the area before they land.
[00:49:27]  Now, this is interesting.
[00:49:29]  Could this also be the sort of drone like things that people are observing or these spheres that are filmed all around the world seemingly to have some type of reconnaissance, you know, purpose?
[00:49:42]  I don't know.
[00:49:44]  Very interesting, though.
[00:49:45]  I keep saying it's interesting, but it is interesting.
[00:49:47]  I'm interested.
[00:49:49]  The one who did most of the talking, I think of him as the captain, said the baby moon was equipped with highly advanced instruments and a thing he called a scanning device, he continued.
[00:49:59]  It transmits pictures and sound back to the saucer.
[00:50:02]  They can flip a switch and lock their vision screen in on the baby moon.
[00:50:08]  He said the moon had been developed as a robot control device because we are a very hostile people and they needed something to scan an area before landing their bigger saucer, Shermer explained.
[00:50:17]  If the baby moon probe shows activity in an area, they pull it back and withdraw.
[00:50:23]  He said that only in certain cases did they ever land when there was someone around the area.
[00:50:27]  Shermer was also informed that the baby moon contained a powerful destruction unit inside the gleaming shell.
[00:50:33]  He said they could press a button and the moon would burn itself to pieces and blow up, Shermer added.
[00:50:38]  The baby moon would explain one of the largest mysteries in UFO sightings.
[00:50:42]  Small circular disks have been seen hovering over fields and swamps, speeding down highways, swooping down on automobiles.
[00:50:50]  If Shermer is correct, these objects are actually radio controlled spy in the sky devices.
[00:50:56]  When he explained about the baby moon, he led me to the screen above the console in the saucer, Shermer explained.
[00:51:02]  He flipped the switch and the screen came on instantly.
[00:51:05]  I saw the outside of the craft on the screen.
[00:51:07]  It wasn't like television.
[00:51:09]  It was the sharpest, clearest picture I'd ever seen.
[00:51:11]  It was like those 3D movies where he wore glasses.
[00:51:14]  Was there a color picture?
[00:51:16]  Shermer was thoughtful for a moment.
[00:51:17]  I believe so.
[00:51:18]  I can't be certain.
[00:51:20]  It was pretty dark outside.
[00:51:22]  The picture I remember was of two of the crew walking back and forth like guards.
[00:51:26]  They walked very stiff and straight like soldiers.
[00:51:29]  Their heads moved back and forth like they were looking for someone.
[00:51:34]  All I saw was their silver suits against the black background.
[00:51:38]  Shermer stated the saucer captain flipped another device on the elaborate console below the screen.
[00:51:43]  Three flying saucers came on the screen, flying in formation.
[00:51:46]  He said they were very high above us.
[00:51:49]  I said he must have awfully good cameras, and he replied that it was all done with light beams, whatever that means.
[00:51:56]  The saucer captain also informed Shermer that some saucers were equipped with peeping devices.
[00:52:01]  These devices also operated on light beams, they were reported capable of scanning any home or building in the world.
[00:52:07]  He indicated the ships with these devices stayed high above the Earth and locked their beams in on.
[00:52:11]  Where they wanted to be, Shermer said.
[00:52:14]  Could these devices be the products of an advanced civilization?
[00:52:17]  Our scientists are now developing holography, a form of image projection using light beams.
[00:52:22]  Holography produces three dimensional, lifelike images that are virtually free of distortion, super powered electronic listening devices that are used in the Cold War to spy on other nations.
[00:52:32]  It is entirely within the realm of reason that an advanced technology could produce devices described by Herbert Shermer.
[00:52:41]  And that is the end of this little.
[00:52:43]  Regression session.
[00:52:45]  Very fascinating indeed.
[00:52:47]  I'm so glad that we got this.

[00:54:05]  This, to me, looks exactly like what Herb was describing.
[00:54:11]  There are some interesting cases that I would love to get into post Shermer, but prior to this, there is some more information about Shermer that I think is really, really pertinent.
[00:54:23]  By the way, Shermer was also subjected to a stress detector or lie detector test and passed.
[00:54:31]  It was his friend, Chief Walashin, who went to the site as well and found a small piece of metal, had it tested, came back as nothing special.
[00:54:40]  But he emphasized that he doesn't report anything he doesn't see.
[00:54:45]  Speaking about Shermer, Shermer was also shown a constellation of a sun surrounded by six planets, okay, in some type of galaxy.
[00:54:56]  He also drew out the inside of the craft, as well as the mothership that was shown to him on the screen, featuring different symbols on the mothership.
[00:55:07]  And one of those symbols, you know, kind of looks like a snake.
[00:55:11]  Notice the mothership is also cylindrical.
[00:55:15]  Shermer then describes the beings, and he says on the left side of the space visitor's head was a small antenna.
[00:55:22]  The skin on his face was of gray color.
[00:55:25]  His nose was long and flat, and his mouth was narrow and slit like.
[00:55:29]  His eyes looked like cat's eyes.
[00:55:31]  So the spaceman was four and a half to five feet tall.
[00:55:34]  He wore a close fitting hooded silver gray uniform, black boots, belt, and gloves.
[00:55:38]  On the left chest was a red emblem of a winged serpent.
[00:55:44]  The man's proportions were normal.
[00:55:46]  He says he's not a churchgoer, but looks to the Bible quote as a source of comfort that he's not going crazy.
[00:55:53]  From Ezekiel chapter 1 And I looked, and behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire unfolding itself, and a brightness was about it.
[00:56:03]  Out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures, and this was their appearance.
[00:56:08]  They had the likeness of man, of a man.
[00:56:12]  Now he's told he'd be revisited by these creatures.

[00:56:14]  He never was, and he was transparent about that fact.
[00:56:17]  He wouldn't lie about it, he says.
[00:56:19]  He ended up quitting his job out of ridicule and he was harassed.
[00:56:25]  His car was blown up, according to Shermer.
[00:56:29]  There was even an effigy of him hung by its neck, and they put like a star on the chest, like a sheriff's star, wrote his name across it and shot holes into it, and then brought it to the morgue as some type of sick practical joke.
[00:56:44]  So he would pull people over and people would recognize him from the tabloids and the news and the outlets.
[00:56:51]  And they would rip up their speeding tickets right in front of him.
[00:56:54]  He was just not willing to sit through the ridicule anymore and ended up retiring.
[00:57:01]  But never, ever going back on anything he'd said.
[00:57:06]  And he even tried to go into private investigation, but when his bosses found out his sordid UFO past, you know, they told him to kindly move on.
[00:57:16]  And so, you know, for somebody who could be hoaxing or making this up, it's not a really good financial, social strategy.
[00:57:27]  So if you're looking for motivation, I just don't see it here.
[00:57:30]  The winged serpent.
[00:57:31]  Is really interesting, and so is the being, so is what they look like.
[00:57:35]  And here is where I made this connection.
[00:57:38]  Because in 1979, January 3rd, about 11 years later, just outside Miami, Florida, Filiberto Cardenas, his friend, his friend's wife, and daughter were driving to get a pig to eat.
[00:57:51]  They were going to buy a pig.
[00:57:53]  When all of a sudden the car starts breaking down, the lights don't work, the ignition doesn't work, they're on this sort of deserted road.
[00:58:02]  Filiberto gets out to try and check the wires, try to see what's going on, when all of a sudden he hears a buzzing, what is described as a sound of a swarm of bees, followed by a bright blue light that engulfed him.
[00:58:17]  And then, before his friend's very eyes, Filiberto was lifted into the air.
[00:58:22]  According to them, according to three other witnesses, he was lifted up into the air, screaming, Don't take me, don't take me.
[00:58:31]  Left abandoned.
[00:58:34]  His friends were terrified.
[00:58:35]  The car began to work again.
[00:58:37]  They took it directly to the police station.
[00:58:41]  The police, who later logged the case as a close encounter of the third kind, officially wrote this down a close encounter of the third kind.
[00:58:48]  I think it was Miami Dade County, which is interesting because it's also near Homestead, which is home of Coral Castle and so many other interesting things that have taken place.
[00:58:58]  Filiberto was found Hours later, about 16 miles away from where he was last seen, disoriented, dizzy, and could barely speak Spanish.
[00:59:13]  Under hypnotic regression, he remembered more than he could at first.
[00:59:16]  He described being taken aboard a craft by human sized figures in silver one piece suits with hoods and button like earpieces.
[00:59:24]  On their chest was a serpent insignia.
[00:59:29]  Their faces were human like but emotionless.
[00:59:32]  Slanted dark eyes with lashes, a flat nose, and a long thin mouth that barely moved.
[00:59:38]  They placed a helmet like device on his head, and he heard them switch through languages almost electronically German, English, Spanish as though cycling through frequencies until they settled upon a tongue he understood.
[00:59:50]  So already we're finding multiple correlations to the previous story the technology used for languages, the earpiece, the suit I mean, the physical appearance of them, including the serpent emblem or insignia.
[01:00:05]  Then came the examinations, long needles piercing his flesh, clusters of puncture marks later confirmed by doctors.
[01:00:12]  They showed him alien horizons and led him beneath the sea through an opening in the rock into what felt like an underwater base.
[01:00:21]  The walls glowed, the air vibrated with energy, and the machinery seemed alive.
[01:00:25]  Also, in this base, when he got here, there was a giant serpent symbol on the door.
[01:00:33]  Where have we heard this before?
[01:00:35]  Lacerda, we'll get there.
[01:00:37]  And a few months later, it happened again.
[01:00:39]  This time, his wife was taken with him, Iris.
[01:00:44]  Under regression, she also confirmed many of the same details the silver suits, the serpent emblem, the strange language switching.
[01:00:52]  And together, they were told that humanity faced famine, wars, and the arrival of a great light in the sky an event that would force mankind to choose between destruction or transformation.
[01:01:03]  The marks on their bodies, the consistency of their memories, the witnesses who saw Filiberto taken, and the police report itself all remain.
[01:01:10]  So interesting.
[01:01:12]  I think it's funny too.
[01:01:13]  And we'll perhaps do a whole other episode on the Cardenas because I think that one deserves it.
[01:01:17]  I do have the hypnotic transcripts.
[01:01:19]  There are four sessions that we can read through, which would be really interesting because they say some interesting stuff about China leading the way for disclosure, which is kind of messed up.
[01:01:30]  And the fact that they're working closely with China, I don't know.
[01:01:33]  Really interesting.
[01:01:34]  But one of the funny little tidbits is that she lights up a cigarette in their USO base underwater.
[01:01:41]  And she lights up this cigarette and they all start sneezing.
[01:01:44]  And then he asks her to put it out because it's like bad for their health.
[01:01:48]  So, why would you even add that into the story?
[01:01:52]  It seems so silly.
[01:01:53]  We are now going to shift to a few other cases that feature these emblems.
[01:02:02]  Newfoundland, Morelands, Newfoundland, the fall of 1974, perhaps seven years after Herbert Shermer.
[01:02:08]  A lone male driver, radio dies, surrounded by a glowing blue light, a cone shaped craft with blue and red lights, later seen landed in four legs.
[01:02:20]  Okay.
[01:02:21]  But a very tall man in a silvery suit.
[01:02:24]  With a black chest crest, a metallic triangle with a black snake appeared.
[01:02:31]  And then he loses time, three hours missing, and he appears back in his car.
[01:02:35]  Okay, no regression there to report.
[01:02:39]  But we got a silvery suit.
[01:02:40]  Okay, there's a height difference, maybe multiple races working together, not unheard of, but also an emblem with a snake again.
[01:02:49]  Now let's go to 1973, a year before, November 3rd, 1973, about 80 kilometers north of Bogota.
[01:02:59]  Enrique Castillo Rincon reports being abducted.
[01:03:03]  He puts this in a book, but one of the notable things, first of all, he says he was abducted by Pleiadian type, so tall, sort of like blondish characters, but they also had a winged serpent symbol.
[01:03:22]  And yet another connection here, because in 1978, a gentleman by the name of Bill Herman, Bill Herman's had multiple, multiple encounters.
[01:03:33]  You can read about them in the Wendell Stevens books.
[01:03:36]  But that is a photo right there that Bill Herman took.
[01:03:39]  He took some of the most compelling UFO pictures I've ever seen in my life.
[01:03:46]  He says that these beings were from reticulum, and wouldn't you know it, these beings on their little jumpsuits had a serpent with wings.
[01:03:59]  Now, these weren't the same beings.
[01:04:01]  They were wearing rust colored jumpsuits.
[01:04:04]  They were about four and a half feet tall, had like spongy like skin, large pale heads, with big round brown hazel eyes, small mouths.
[01:04:17]  Doesn't this sound like another description?
[01:04:19]  Yes, folks, if you're not familiar, Travis Walton describes the exact same beings rust colored jumpsuits.
[01:04:31]  Big round eyes, big round pale heads.
[01:04:35]  And they all communicated telepathically.
[01:04:38]  To wrap this up in a nice neat little bow, because I know this is a lot of information from a lot of different directions that we'll eventually hopefully get into, Lacerda.
[01:04:50]  Lacerda, I think, is probably some of the most interesting pieces of information here.
[01:04:58]  Now, we don't know for a fact that Lacerda wasn't copied from all of these previous things.
[01:05:03]  Obviously, I'm aware of this.
[01:05:05]  The original report in 1968 could have, you know, everything else that followed could have been copied from, right?
[01:05:15]  I get it.
[01:05:17]  But Lacerda says that her species symbol was a blue serpent with four white wings on a black background.
[01:05:30]  Lacerda also mentions large cigar shaped carriers that feature their symbols on the outside of them.
[01:05:42]  Not unlike what Herbert Shermer was shown.
[01:05:47]  She talks about technology based in magnetism and manipulation of gravity.
[01:05:52]  Talks about telepathy, obviously, that's been used throughout most of these cases.
[01:05:57]  Did we somehow stumble upon some type of galactic crew?
[01:06:04]  Some interdimensional or interplanetary faction that sports these symbols?
[01:06:11]  Folks, I'm so excited about this.
[01:06:13]  I don't know.
[01:06:14]  I'm trying to make everything very concise for you, but even Bill Herman, I would love to get into this because.
[01:06:21]  He also received a script download of symbols that he wrote down, and he was given a piece of metal.
[01:06:29]  There's all sorts of really interesting stuff.
[01:06:31]  And then, Filiberto Cardenas, his story is just so fascinating as well because we have all this information that they left him with technical data and just really interesting stuff.
[01:06:45]  And hopefully, we'll get into that in the future.
[01:06:46]  Hopefully, that's something that you guys would want to see because I would love to bring that up.
[01:06:50]  But lastly, I want to leave you with this.
[01:06:53]  I'm going to read to you a little bit of a paragraph here that puts some of this into context and maybe gives us a little bit more guidance on why this symbol is important.
[01:07:04]  You see, the image of the winged serpent appears in myths and sacred traditions across the world.
[01:07:08]  In Greek mythology, the Draconas were serpent dragons, often shown with wings, fierce guardians of treasures and sacred places such as the Golden Fleece.
[01:07:19]  In Asia, Chinese and Japanese dragons combine the serpent's body with wings or flight through clouds, symbols of transformation power.
[01:07:28]  And cosmic balance.
[01:07:30]  In India, the Nagas are powerful serpent beings, sometimes winged, associated with wisdom, water, and the underworld.
[01:07:40]  While Garuda, the eagle mount of Vishnu, is often depicted in eternal struggle with serpents, embodying the dynamic between sky and earth.
[01:07:50]  In Mesoamerica, the Aztec and Mayan deity Quetzalcoatl, or Cuculcan, the feathered serpent, was revered as a god of creation.
[01:08:01]  Knowledge and renewal, bridging the heavens and the earth.
[01:08:05]  Similar motifs appear among South American cultures, where winged serpents symbolize fertility, transformation, and the divine connection between the natural and supernatural worlds.
[01:08:17]  Across these traditions, the winged serpent unites heaven and earth, embodying wisdom, hidden knowledge, and the threshold between mortal and divine realms.
[01:08:31]  Are these species all working together?
