The Chinese Are Stealing Marijuana Technology - MJBizCon and Exclusive Interview w/Big Mike from Advanced Nutrients
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
Hey, where are you guys from?
Come here.
Say hi.
Look what I'm saying.
Hello, American.
What did you come here to do?
Steel companies?
Copy technology?
Patent infringement?
That's what you came?
Wow.
MJBizCon, everybody.
He's just standing there, menacingly!
There's 30,000 businesses here.
Can you imagine that?
30,000 cannabis businesses.
Can I get you on camera?
Chinese people, they're crazy here, right?
This guy's working the conference.
I don't think they're here to smoke, man.
You can see it in their eyes and their demeanor, they're not here to smoke.
They're here to steal from Americans, right?
We're making it happen for ourselves here at the Adam King Show, man.
Just the realization of where I'm at in this journey.
Alright, so MJBizCon, I didn't even anticipate doing my podcast.
It was actually the amount of technology that I saw being stolen that I was like, okay, I'll do a podcast about this.
And in the podcast, I ended up getting to meet and interview Big Mike from Advanced Nutrients, probably the most One of the top five most legendary and iconic business leaders that shaped this industry.
Truly shaped this industry.
President Trump coming back in and all this America First stuff.
And I'm thinking, they should ban foreign nationals from American trade shows.
Give me some stats on your company.
How big is your company at this current juncture?
How many employees do you have?
You said you're in 120 countries.
Our products are in 120 countries.
We've got 268 people.
We're right around 100 million.
During Coralette we had 161 million.
Yeah, and our goal is to take it to, we'll probably hit about 150 in 2025. Put your dog on a leash!
That's dangerous!
Put your dog on a leash!
Go!
Run!
This is gonna be a good show.
I'm glad that we're doing this show.
So, this is my answer to all the, uh...
I just gotta get him to the next one.
God bless this guy.
Stevie D'Angelo's in the house.
They straight up were like, yeah, we're doing a patent infringement.
Yeah, we're doing trademark infringement.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Fucking Chinese.
Hello, American!
If you're not American...
Get the fuck out of here!
Isn't it crazy how many foreign nationals you've seen at this conference stealing technology?
Um, yeah, yeah.
We deal with that a lot.
Man, where'd they ever have?
We've had so many bank accounts shut down and get hassled at the border.
And you were just selling nutrients for plants.
Our team members getting hassled, held up for hours, three hours, six hours, all their stuff being searched.
It's fertilizer, biostimulants, and biologicals for cannabis.
Okay, I get it, but, uh...
Well, you can use it with anything else.
Listen, advanced nutrients It holds the record.
The guys who wrote the record for the biggest tomato in the world is 8 pounds, watermelon 309 pounds, second largest orange pumpkin, the largest non-orange pumpkin, all with advanced nutrients.
In fact, some people even in their gardens who use advanced nutrients, one guy trades his local butcher to vegetables because they taste so good.
For meat at the butcher shop.
That's incredible.
That's incredible.
Stupid American.
Our boss is fentanyl, the Chinese dragon.
That is our boss.
California is known for their cannabis and will be the biggest exporter to the world if you reduce That tax.
If you don't, some other country's gonna get that designation.
What do you say about, like, Democrat lawmakers who, like, strategically constructed the laws in order, intentionally, to strangle the business?
Your viewpoint now, let's talk about Trump.
Trump has said that, you know, he's gonna go for the Safe Backing Act.
They're going to de-schedule it.
And they're going to allow for export.
If all that actually happens, the Republicans will do more for cannabis than anyone else.
To the Democrats, these are a group of guys who are going to Mar-a-Lago to talk to Donald Trump about cannabis.
China came there and said, hey, why don't you make your stuff in China?
Yeah, like, sure, I'm going to do that and give you all the formulations, you guys.
And their aunts, uncles, brothers, and nephews will be knocking it off in different factories.
No way would that ever happen.
I am here at Green Card.
And this is where Chinese CCP get Green Card to come to America to take American technology, yeah.
I've been watching this guy build this company for over a decade.
And it's the most impressive company in cannabis, hands down.
Here's more Chinese people.
I feel like 10% of this population...
Wait till you get inside and see.
All right, my people.
So...
In the spirit of content, because content is king, people ask me, what am I doing out in Vegas?
I'm actually at the MJ BizCon Marijuana Business Conference.
And to most of your surprise, I'm not just a talking head on the internet.
I actually own a tech company in the cannabis space.
It's a cigarette filling machine that I invented, but we can't call them cigarettes for tax purposes, you know.
It's pretty complicated.
But anyways, this MJBizCon is packed.
And I decided that I'm going to make a story out of it because there's so many interesting things like there's so many freaking Chinese people from China here and they're trying to copy companies like mine.
America first.
We're not going to let China win the cannabis war.
Anyways, I'm going in.
I'm going to report from this.
This is going to be a cool story.
Stay tuned.
Alright, so...
I'm walking around and you can see there's just like a ton of machines.
But check out this one.
This is the Warner Roll.
See, my machine is not like a joint rolling machine.
My machine is actually a cigarette rolling machine.
But this is not my competition.
Which is pretty cool.
All this stuff.
Look at all this tech, man.
This is serious industrial cannabis, folks.
Industrial cannabis.
This is a big company.
And then they have their...
Jarring operations and so all these machines are like for sale and people come over here all around the world to this conference to go buy stuff and these machines are like hundreds of thousands of dollars and I'm out here just living my best life We just finished our machine earlier this year and right now we're ramping up on manufacturing.
It's very difficult to manufacture in America, actually, so it takes a lot of invention of tooling because a lot of the parts that we make in our machines are one-of-a-kind parts.
But I came here to the MJBizCon because I wanted to meet people, network, get my waitlist bigger.
We have 12 machines right now that are coming down and so we don't want to like open the floodgates and start selling them like crazy, but I also want to come out here.
I want to see what it's like out here and what the market...
See there's like all sorts of machines here.
This one is just making cones.
Cone manufacturer.
Look at all these salesmen ready to sell.
Selling their machines.
All these are cones.
These are all for cones.
They make joints.
There's a lot of companies making joints.
Look, there's the twisters.
See, look, it twists them closed.
Twisting the joints.
That reminds me.
It's like squeezing the juice.
Anyways, here's another one.
Let's see what this one's about.
Here's more pre-roll machines.
This is the pre-roller.
This is the treifer pre-roller.
These are all pre-roll machines guys.
These are big machines.
They take up a lot of space.
And they're very interesting, but they're big machines.
Look at that.
We're changing the game, folks!
We're changing the game!
Adam King, I'm changing the game.
Oh, here, check this out.
This is a tablet machine.
They're making tablets.
That's very interesting.
Rotary tablet press, 15,000 bucks.
LFA machines.
Okay, we're at the gummy aisle.
I gotta show you guys the gummies.
Okay!
For everybody who likes those cannabis edible gummies, check this out.
This is the gummy machine row.
Where you can get all your equipment to do all your gummies.
Look at that.
Automatic gummy maker.
So funny.
But the one thing that I noticed is like the Chinese are everywhere.
These fuckers are like trying to steal our American businesses.
And uh, shiesty.
And I implore President Trump in the next incoming administration to ban China from trade shows, US trade shows.
To ban Chinese firms from US trade shows.
I think that would be a great idea.
Let's take a look at some more tech, peep.
Look, it's all just like big tech and...
It's pretty freaking cool, man.
All this industry, it's all born overnight.
Look, stickers and labelers and stuff like that.
It's a big trade show.
That's why it's important to protect American businesses.
Oils, oil manufacturers.
I don't really get into the oils so much.
When I smoke, I like to dab.
I like to take the live rosin dabs.
It's kind of my go-to.
So all these people, they do like ethanol butane, and that stuff is a little bit poisonous to me.
But this is cool.
Yeah, I make my own.
Oh, here's another pre-roll machine.
Let me take a peep.
Alright, another pre-roll machine.
They do cones.
That's hemp.
Another pre-roll machine.
The Ta Brawler.
Interesting.
Alright, so the tow broller, very interesting.
They do singles, one-offs, but it's a rolling technology, not a bouncing table or a packing technology.
So we're still the only ones over here.
Yeah, go for it.
So, I'm just watching this thing over here.
See, they got an auger system, but they make cones.
And the agar fills and tunes the cones.
That's kind of interesting.
They're the auto roller.
Alright, how's it going?
CO2 extraction machines.
We're in like the oil sphere now, everybody.
We're gonna do a little sivu play.
And you see this?
This is like a filling machine.
They fill weed into jars with these things.
So I'm like super stoked because I got this new technology coming out and nobody's got anything like it and I'm the only guy and unfortunately this year we don't have a booth because we're just like behind schedule to do that for this type of a conference but This shit is serious because Adam King could come up on some serious cash in the near future, folks.
I'm looking forward to it.
Cannabis is the spot.
This is a good business to be in.
I'm going to go get my flyers from the front and then maybe I'll interview some people.
We'll talk politics or something like that.
It'll be a cool show.
But the way that it looks...
Oh, here's another one.
What's this?
See, he's blowing it off.
What does your machine do?
This is the Blackbird.
Oh, this is the Blackbird.
Oh, okay.
This is like my competition.
Perfectly cylindrical tubes.
And you roll them, right?
You roll them in paper.
Traditional.
So, you guys are in San Diego, right?
We are in Vancouver, Washington.
Vancouver, Washington.
Okay, so you're not even American.
Get the fuck out!
I was just kidding.
No, you guys are actually my competition.
Really?
What do you do?
I own a machine.
I invented a machine that fills cannabis tubes.
Cylindrical.
Perfectly cylindrical tubes.
Are you going from the top down?
You could go check out my machine.
Okay, I'll do that.
Very cool, man.
I'm glad I get to see one.
So you guys start these at $240,000, right?
Yeah, somewhere around there.
Guess how much my machine costs.
I have to see it to know.
$75,000.
I'm winning!
I'm just kidding.
I'm not just kidding, but I am winning.
Alright, so I just met my the owner of my actual competitor, but he's not even really a competitor because like my machine makes, it like fills through a process whereas his machine rolls,
but we're the only two companies in perfectly cylindrical tubes, which is Very complex technology, actually, believe it or not.
But I'm wandering around, checking it out, scoping these first days.
You can see my smiles getting bigger and bigger because it means I'm the only one.
This machine puts Keith on joints.
That's crazy.
I had an idea for a technology like that.
Oh, there's James.
Yo!
My friends!
I got friends.
I'm winning so hard!
I'm winning!
Oh, I got something in my pocket.
I got this guy, Tarragon Premium Cannabis.
Let's go!
We outside!
We're loving it!
Welcome to MJBiz!
What's your company?
Pink's Products!
What is it?
It's a cannabis brand that makes Canna Couture.
Canna Couture!
De-stigmatizing weed while glamorizing it, baby!
With rose petal blunts.
And this is my packaging guy, Steve.
Steve, say what's up.
What's up?
Contact us, ratioindustries at yahoo.com.
He really is my packaging guy, but he doesn't just do cannabis packaging.
You can get him for anything.
So they make infused pre-roll automation.
These are like cones with...
Check out that robot.
See, oil extractors are a dime a dozen.
They got a lot of these.
There's probably going to be like a whole section of this stuff.
But we're looking for competitors right now because we're trying to make money.
Alright, so I think I successfully navigated through the pre-roll machines.
And there is nothing like my machine on the floor whatsoever.
$85,000.
$85,000. $85,000. $85,000. $85,000.
Tube packing rod.
And you're saying it's going to work with everything?
$85,000.
And it's a tube packing rod.
It's a tube packing rod.
And have you run like the stickiest weed on this?
I have.
You just have to run it nice and cool.
Like when you run infused weed or sticky weed, just run it at a lower temperature to get it to harden up.
It runs just fine.
Alright, cool man.
Nice to meet you.
Thank you.
He's full of shit.
They're selling broken machines.
Tube filling, rod packing does not work with cannabis.
Folks, I know because I did that machine first.
It cost me $125,000 to build that machine.
And I built that exact same machine with the hydraulic press, with the air compressor, $125,000.
I built that fucking machine.
Doesn't work.
That's why I abandoned that machine and made the machine that I made.
I'm so deep into this thing right now.
Hey, how's it going?
I'm so deep into this thing, but I've made it through.
It was like, literally, like...
Oh, God, it was hard.
I didn't know if we were going to survive.
It's been years of making this machine.
But that guy is so entry-level.
He doesn't even know.
I'm so shocked that they even have a...
A station there, a tube filling station that they took out a booth because that shit's just not going to work.
$125,000 I spent to learn that that is not going to work.
For bud, like all bud, weed, cannabis, flour, it's not going to work.
My machine will work and will never clog.
Ever.
That machine is just going to clog.
It's going to clog.
And when he was saying, you got to run it cool.
No, you don't have to run it cool.
You have to, like, beyond freezing.
Like, the room that you operate in on that machine, it'll still clog with the sticky bud, and you're going to have to run it at, like, literally, like, below 40, maybe like 35 degree room.
And he's like, you just have to keep it cool.
You have to keep it cool.
Nah, fool, you're a liar.
Check out this one.
Here's another tube filling machine.
What's up, Kenneth Lort?
How's it going?
How's it going?
We're just selling this pre-roll Roll Troll machine.
It's called the Roll Troll.
Roll Troll, that's right.
There's a lot of pre-roll machines out there on the market.
This one's gonna be, at your price point, it's $92,500.
It can put out $450 to $500.
$92,500.
It's got a really small thing.
We got two feet by, you know, it's basically two feet by two feet.
Put it on a desktop.
And it does cones.
It does cones.
We can do any grade, too.
So high grade, low grade, we can do that.
Okay.
A cone filler.
Thank you very much, man.
Thank you, sir.
Thank you.
Anyways, that's what's so special about it, folks.
It's like you can only do cones with those machines.
You can only do cones.
We're winning so big.
We're winning so big right now.
Here's more Filling machines.
Filling machines.
Look, I'm just happy that I'm winning because I put a lot of effort into this.
Oh, what's this?
The King Shredder?
I have to go.
It bears my name.
Look at this.
The King Cone.
But they also do cones.
It's cones.
This is a decent machine.
I know this machine.
I've been in this space for a really long time.
I mean, I practically started the Adam King show because, like, I was lost in engineering.
Hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to do something.
Oh, this is amazing.
This is absolutely amazing.
This is a suppository filling machine.
Now, these are...
This would be really useful.
When I made the pills for Roger Stone that he always talks about...
We have driven the Russians into the hands of the Chinese and into the hands of the Iranians.
By our misguided policies in Ukraine.
But secondly, a personal point.
And I think most people, many people know that after my full presidential pardon, almost immediately, my wife of 30 years was diagnosed with very, very aggressive stage four cancer.
And I think I want to express to you, Adam, my deep appreciation for your help in that situation.
Because not only were you a great source of very valuable information regarding the treatment of cancer with cannabinoids, but also helping us get the all-natural supplements that led to the fact that today my wife is cancer-free.
Could never have gotten there without your help, Adam.
I wanted to say this publicly.
I am deeply, deeply grateful for your friendship and your support.
They were suppositories.
Cannabis suppositories.
But this would be a very, very useful machine.
I'm taking your guys card.
For other stuff.
Thank you guys.
Oh, a pen too.
Bono paste.
Thank you guys.
Useful.
Very useful.
I'll call you.
Useful for the cannabis pills that I make.
And you guys could check out those shows then.
And I'm just chilling.
Okay, so I think we've successfully cleared the pre-roll section.
And it looks like I'm the only one in my class.
This machine, what we called the revolution roller, because it was a revolution in filling and rolling, is really something completely different than what's out there.
I don't know if we're going to be able to trademark that name Revolution Roller, so we're going to probably have to change the name.
But, I mean, Green Pastures, folks.
Green Pastures.
And we have a great, great patent law firm.
I am so stoked about my patent attorney.
Thank you to H.N. for the recommendation, and to M.G. for making this all possible, and to our wonderful patent attorney, J.C. Yeah, J.C. is our patent attorney.
God, I'm so stoked, guys.
I don't even have a booth here.
I just got a bag full of flyers.
My packaging guy came.
Let me show you my flyers.
And I'm just, like, so afraid to show the machine to anybody, but...
POW! I'm just winning.
And my machine is, like, a fraction of the size of their machines.
And, like, so far, every single machine is just, like, much cheaper.
Mine is much cheaper than theirs.
Anyways, so this is, like, we're in, like, um...
We're in like CO2 extraction machine land.
We have successfully exited the pre-roll sector.
And pre-rolls are for me, folks.
We're gonna win.
And I'm super excited about it.
Alright, we're gonna have fun at this conference.
I'm gonna meet some folks.
I'm gonna go walk around and network and try to make a couple sales or something or just connect with the right people and see the rest of the trade show.
There's 30,000 businesses here.
Can you imagine that?
We have 30,000 cannabis businesses in one location, all connecting, trying to make money, trying to make it happen for themselves.
And, yeah, we're making it happen for ourselves here at the Adam King Show, man.
This is some real next level stuff.
Anyways, let's go!
I just want to film this.
Because it's so sick.
Look how sick this machine is right here.
This is one of the coolest systems I have ever seen for bubble ash extraction and live rosin.
This is just so next level.
30,000 bucks.
And then they have the smaller one.
I would get the automatic shake table.
I wouldn't get this table.
But they have the smaller one.
It's still really a beautiful machine.
Absolutely beautiful machine.
Alright, this is the outdoor smoking area where they got like all these executives and just chilling, smoking on the porch.
But we're not going to do that.
We're going inside.
We already did that.
We got the biggest seed bank of cannabis seeds possibly in the world right here.
I am going sativa hunting.
Let's get it!
Check it out, Scentsy Seeds.
Put your dog on a leash!
That's dangerous!
Put your dog on a leash!
Go!
Run!
Alright, folks.
We're on day three of the convention, day two of the expo.
I'm just getting back to the convention center here in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It's true what they say about this place being Sin City.
There is just hedonism here folks.
You know, people live like normal lives here outside of this strip and everything and I just don't understand what would attract somebody besides like economic necessity or something to want to live in such a condition where they're constantly being bombarded by sin.
As I was going to the convention today, I saw like billboard after billboard after billboard I saw this one,
it was like this guy dressed up like a mafia pimp or something like that with an AK-47 and he was like, I'll get your drains done in two weeks or else.
And I was just like, what kind of pervasive culture has taken over Las Vegas, Nevada?
But whatever, it's always been like this.
This little mafia city.
Um...
There's two conventions happening simultaneously.
The Las Vegas Rodeo and the MJBizCon.
So...
I think at some point I might try to sneak into the rodeo and get a new cowboy hat.
But...
I've been pretty stoked on this conference.
Um...
The MJBizCon really has shown me a lot about myself and what I'm doing with my company.
It's a really cool industry to be in.
It's like a non-stop party.
People are generally pretty cool.
But the industry is really stagnant.
It's like overburdened and overregulated and because of that like innovation has been stifled and so because my company is such an innovative company it really separates itself from all the other cannabis companies in the United States and I just feel really privileged and blessed I feel absolutely blessed Yesterday
was kind of like a big shock to me because I realized that just how much I stand out and how much of an opportunity I have.
How's it going?
Pretty good.
And here I'm going to do it again, you know, but today I'm going to focus a little bit different.
Yesterday I was just so taken back by the utter success of everything.
Just the realization of where I'm at in this journey of financial freedom.
And I'm happy that I'm making content.
You know, I went back for my mic.
I wasn't even going to do content.
But then the whole thing kind of just opened up and I saw the Chinese people.
And also just, it was a cool vibe.
But All the Chinese people, I felt like I have a story to report.
And, like, imagine this, okay?
Here's this industry.
It's been burdened by regulations, criminal regulations, for like 30 years.
And, like, people are, like, suffering in prison because they got caught smoking a joint.
And then here's this burgeoning industry of its supposed legalization.
All these people rush towards it and dump money.
It's like this super exciting time.
Past MJBizCons were just people throwing money at everything.
And...
So...
This time, it's like all these companies, they've been through so much.
I'm going to sit down and tie my shoe while I talk to you all like Mr. Rogers.
They've been through so much.
So right as they get legalized, right as everything gets legalized, they get legalized in like all Democrat states, right?
This is where it gets kind of twisted.
So, it gets legalized in all these Democrat states, and then what do the Democrat lawmakers do?
They regulate cannabis...
Like, out of existence.
They burden the industry so heavily with regulation after regulation after regulation after regulation.
So, the last time I was at MJBizCon was like, I want to say 2019 maybe?
2019, I think?
Winter of 2019 or winter of 2018?
One of those two.
I think it was 2019. But it was just blowing up.
The whole industry was blowing up.
The convention center was packed wall to wall with booths of just companies that wanted to make it in America.
And I never had a booth here, but I always came and saw it and I'm fascinated by this industry.
This year, there is so much empty space in the convention.
And that's because of government regulators.
They have regulated this thing out of existence.
Not really.
I mean, it's still in existence.
They'll never be able to regulate it out of existence.
Figure of speech.
I gotta say, the cannabis girls, though, are so hot.
These girls that are going to the conference.
I'm coming!
Are you Jewish?
But, um...
Anyways...
So the craziest thing is that they regulate this business to such a degree that all these companies are extremely burdened with cash flow issues because they're taxed much more than other businesses.
So other businesses, they get taxed like 33% federal tax, but then there's...
Like different states, for example, like in California, to have a cannabis business comes in certain cities.
Every city is different because it's all freaking communistic and the whole hell whole thing.
But in some cities, it's like upwards of 35% excise tax.
So imagine that.
You've got federal tax, 33%.
Excise tax, 35%.
And then you've got your state taxes.
And literally some people are in this for like 70% tax.
It's like...
Dire straits for cannabis businesses and then because of certain tax code things because their cannabis companies any type of equipment purchases they can't write off on their taxes it's like this it's really a messed up situation so all these companies are strapped for cash and so why the Chinese thing made me have this wanna want to go into making content is because all these businesses that I see some are new A
lot of them are ancillary, like packaging and stuff like that.
But there's no innovation.
Very little innovation.
I shouldn't say no innovation.
There's innovation in the lanes of innovation that already existed.
Like, true innovation, like my company, is patentable material.
That's the type of thing that I'm talking about.
And so I guess there's innovation, but for the most part, there's like this standardization.
There's like...
100 types of this machine.
X amount of types of that machine.
Everything is really standardized.
It's from the confection industry.
They bring in chocolate production equipment or something like that.
But innovation is stifled and that's because cash flow is stifled.
So a company like mine, which is exclusively focused on innovation...
Like, here's Breeze.
Breeze survived it.
Breeze canna.
They make great edibles.
Breath mints.
Very good.
They survived the canna-geddon.
You know, it was like a canna-geddon.
It was a horrible thing for cannabis.
You know, and they just...
State legislators were just like, hey, it's legal now.
We could steal all this money.
And also, the last thing the government wanted was a bunch of, like...
People who already didn't give a shit what the government thinks to, like, have, like, a lot of money.
Like, that was the thing that they feared the most in Democrat-controlled states.
Like, the billionaire weed tycoon who was growing weed when it was illegal, and now he's a billionaire and really doesn't give a fuck about the government.
That was what they cared the most about.
And so we're here at MJBizCon 2024. Truly, I'm not at the size that I'm at to take a booth, but I know all these guys.
Everybody's here.
Big Mike is here.
What's his name?
The Raw Tubes guy is here.
Kesselman, Josh Kesselman.
Tobias is here from Futurola.
I saw Tobias.
Futurola, that's like such an amazing company.
These are the guys who like gave me my inspiration.
Those dudes made hundreds of millions of dollars off of their machine.
And I wanted to make a machine that isn't going to cost $500,000, like the entire market, and isn't going to cost like, you know, it's going to be ergonomic.
And I spent years developing this machine.
And I finished.
The machine's done.
I'm just not showing it.
I'm showing it discreetly.
We filed patents and everything, but I'm still showing discreetly because this festival, I'm calling it a festival because it's not really like a business conference.
It's more like a festival.
But this conference is flooded with Chinese nationals.
Here's a bunch right there.
I'm looking at them right over here.
Here's another one right here.
Hello, American!
Hello, American!
Here's another one.
I don't want to be racist, but these fuckers are here to steal our technology.
Hello, American!
Am I right?
Look, this guy just saw...
Can I get you on camera?
What's he gonna say?
What are we talking about, man?
Chinese people.
They're crazy here, right?
Yeah, they are.
This guy's working the conference.
I don't think they're here to smoke, man.
You can see it in their eyes and their demeanor.
They're not here to smoke.
They're here to steal from Americans, right?
Yes, indeed.
And that was like the biggest shock.
I wasn't even going to make content.
I have a podcast on the internet, on a network called InfoWars, Banned Video.
Do you know what InfoWars is?
I heard something about it, but I haven't actually looked into it.
We're like really canceled, censored people.
It sucks.
It's brutal.
But whatever.
It doesn't matter.
I wasn't even going to...
This isn't even the right content for the platform.
And I wasn't even going to do content because I have a company here, but I was so shocked by the vast number of foreigners that don't speak English that I was like, holy shit, I've got to make an episode.
This is like breaking the news.
Yeah, it is, man.
It's actually...
I think it's actually good that you're doing that, man, because somebody needs to speak up on it and say something about it.
Like I said, I've been watching it for a while.
So you've seen people go in and out of the conference?
Yes.
Is this the only conference you've ever worked?
No.
So I met a couple other people who worked other conferences also, and I asked them the same question.
Compared to other conferences, have you seen more Chinese people at this conference than other conferences?
To be honest, I think it's about the balance.
So it's in other industries too?
Most definitely.
So they were saying that in the cannabis...
To me, this one is just more awkward to me to see them in this one.
Here they are now.
We already saw two groups.
Since I started talking to this guy, here's two groups.
Hiro American!
You know, it's like, fuck you.
I'll tell you why it's important to me.
Because I own a company, a cannabis company.
We went through hell to survive the regulatory environment.
I invested exclusively into technology.
I was like, if I'm going to survive this, I called it the Canageddon.
They were taking out companies.
Is this the first MJBixCon you ever worked?
This one is, yes.
I've been here in the past and it was much bigger.
Much bigger.
I was told, too, that's when a couple of people was coming out saying this was not as busy, it's not as active as it usually is.
It's my first one, so I can't make a call on that.
So the reason is, is because a lot of companies went out of business.
Because these Democrat lawmakers basically, like, taxed the hell out of them.
So I was telling my audience that, like, prior, like, normal taxes are like 33% to the government.
Oh, wow.
And then you have state, like in California you have state taxes.
And then on top of that you have excise taxes.
So every city has a different excise tax.
So if you have a cannabis business in Los Angeles, the excise tax is 35%.
So it's 35% in addition to your federal taxes and in addition to your state taxes.
And then on your IRS forms you're not allowed to...
If you buy a piece of equipment, for example, like a big $500,000 technology, you're not allowed to write it off on your taxes in cannabis like you are in other industries.
So my company, I invested into tech, and I really put everything I had into developing this idea and this invention, which totally...
I'm privileged, bro.
I don't have a booth this year, but...
There's no company like mine in the whole thing.
And I'm glad I don't have a booth because at first we were thinking about getting a booth.
We have this brand new technology.
We're still futzing around in the manufacturing process.
It's not like solid worked out.
We're still building tools in manufacturing so that we can make it in America, you know, locally.
And we're getting to the point, God willing, in the next three months, hopefully, I'm hoping that we could be making a machine a day.
But...
Right now it takes like a month to make a machine because of our lack of tooling.
So I'm sitting here and these motherfuckers, dude, were trying to sell me on a booth for MJBizCon for like weeks.
Central.
That's the central.
It'll be north.
When you come out the tunnel, turn left.
So...
Straight that way, boss.
Silver lock.
Indians now, too.
That guy wasn't even Chinese, man.
He came all the way from India to steal American businesses.
So that's what I'm saying.
I'm glad that I didn't get the booth because it's literally just a gigantic robbery going on right now.
You see Chinese people literally don't speak any English walking through the place with their Tamagotchis.
Like, taking up-close photos of every technology they can, and why would I want to showcase my technology at MJBizCon?
Especially that I feel so grateful that I have such a good technology, the Revolution Roller.
It's a cigarette-making machine.
It's the only cannabis cigarette-making machine in America.
Awesome.
There's like, there's one other company that makes a cylindrical, perfectly cylindrical joint, but to be able to fill a cigarette is a different thing.
It's a different thing, right?
It's a different thing.
So, and look at here.
Here they are.
Let's get...
Oh, yeah.
You're going to see them coming in.
Who are the flocks, man?
Watch this.
They're coming in.
Hey, where are you guys from?
Come here.
Say hi.
Look what I'm saying.
Hello, American.
Yeah.
What did you come here to do?
Steel companies?
Copy technology?
Patent infringement?
That's what you came?
MJBizCon everybody!
Take care!
Yo, did you see that?
I got that live on the news!
I just called him out.
He didn't speak English.
I was like, what are you here for?
Patent infringement?
Blah, blah, blah.
They're like, yup, yup.
In there.
Oh, the boot and everything is there?
Yes, it goes right in there.
I'm going to continue my journey, but thank you for your...
I appreciate your feedback.
What do you got to add again?
InfoWars band video.
It's called The Adam King Show.
Oh, I got you.
And keep an eye out, because we've got to be for America.
I was thinking also, before I leave you, I was thinking to myself all about yesterday with President Trump coming back in and all this America First stuff, and I'm thinking, they should ban foreign nationals from American trade shows.
What would you think about that?
Hey, that would be something different, man.
It just depends on what it is, man.
Some things are good, some things are bad, but honestly, I don't want to say that on the...
If we're showcasing American technology...
That one it is.
We need to protect American technology.
There we go.
That one I do agree with.
We can't have an open festival for people to just come in and steal American technology at random.
Exactly.
Exactly.
Even if it's patented, it's still going to be...
Exactly.
Listen, it took me hundreds of thousands of dollars to develop my technology.
Right.
And then to think about patenting it, and to enforce a patent costs hundreds of thousands of dollars also.
I don't have a tree.
I mean, the cannabis tree could give a lot of money if they stop taxing it, but you get me?
I don't have endless budgets to go chase down Chinese nationals who, like, have stolen something from Americans.
Exactly.
And you don't know it until it's too late.
Until it's too late.
And you're fucked.
And you're now an American whose country didn't protect them while the government regulated them out of existence to the point where they can't afford innovation.
We gotta shut down the border.
We gotta shut down our country.
America's first for Americans.
Only Americans for a while.
We're not dating anymore.
We're done.
I don't think we were dating.
I think we were sleeping around.
We were fucking the world.
That's what's coming back to bite us in the ass.
But we could just shut the door.
We could just shut the door.
We love each other.
We're all good.
Shut the door.
Take care of home.
If you can't take care of home, then that's...
Here's more Chinese people.
I feel like 10% of this population...
Wait till you get inside and see it.
Oh, I've been yesterday.
It was crazy.
That's why I did the video.
Anyways, man, God bless.
You stay up.
Thank you for your time.
What's your name?
Rich.
I won't put your name on blast in case for your job.
Peace out, bro.
This is going to be a good show.
I'm glad that we're doing this show.
Anyways, I'm gonna get inside.
I gotta go past security checkpoint.
That was funny.
They straight up were like, yeah, we're doing a patent infringement.
Yeah, we're doing trademark infringement.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Fucking Chinese.
Harrow American!
I'm gonna start snapping pictures of all these Harrow Americans.
They're gonna ban me from this conference for being racist.
But it's okay, because, you know...
I'm making money.
Whatever.
They can't stop my company.
Here's one right now.
Hello, American.
I'm here to steal your technology.
So funny.
Alright, so I'm making my way first to the weed smoking section.
Thank you, my man.
But I'm gonna showcase every Harrow American.
And I have my Harrow American shirt, also.
And I almost wore it today, but I was like, no, I gotta be professional.
Don't be an activist, Adam.
Be a CEO. Be an executive.
Stop being an activist.
Stop being an online personality.
Just make money and hustle.
And I wanna hustle, believe me.
And it's gonna come.
What's up, guys?
And I'm not gonna, like, give up.
I'm a company to do activism, but I'm just like, holy shit, the amount of Chinese people is out of control.
Out of control.
And I'm not talking about Chinese Americans.
If you're an American, this convention is for you.
But if you're not American, get the fuck out of here.
Am I right, dude?
Do you want to say something about that?
Say something about that.
How many...
Is it crazy how many foreign nationals you've seen at this conference stealing technology?
Yeah, yeah.
We deal with that a lot.
It's so nuts.
What's your company?
Premium Seeds.
Oh, you're a seed bank?
We're seed breeders in a bank.
You know, I'm actually looking for extremely rare genetics I can't find anywhere.
I have over 1,200 strains.
So if you want to step out at our booth, 7446. 7446. Let me ask you a question while I got you.
Have you ever heard of a strain, Myaka Gold?
I have not.
Over a million strains.
Over a million these days.
So, Myaka Gold is a Florida-based strain, and it's super rare, and it's specifically catered to people with ALS. Oh, interesting.
And I've been looking for this genome for a long time, and I find breeders and strain hunters...
I'll walk with you.
I've found breeders and strain hunters that never even heard of this strain.
Yeah, me too.
I mean, I've been breeding for 20 years and growing for 30. I've never heard of it, but like I said, there's a million strains, there's a ton of breeders, a lot of backyard breeders, basement breeders, and they come up with stuff that just never makes it in the mainstream.
So let me ask you a question.
So you probably have more of a handle on like the strain hunters than I do because this is your side of the business.
Correct.
So can I ask you to look out for me for my Aka Gold or ask around for it?
Yeah, absolutely.
It is such a big deal that I asked ChatGPT to give me some information on it because I found this guy who was saying that it was two crosses between an Acapulco gold and a land-raced tie.
And I was like, okay.
And I started looking for those and I asked ChatGPT and ChatGPT did this whole research project for me and found that it's actually not any of those strains.
It's Cinderella 99 crossed with golden goat.
So I got the original breed.
So we can make it that way.
We can make it.
If ChatGPT is correct.
That's correct.
So we would have to do a little research, but we could find out for you.
So this strain is so specific to ALS that this one woman who was in a program on Mayaka Gold, she lived 20 years with ALS. That's awesome.
Yeah.
Is that incredible?
That is.
And it makes me want to go find that strain.
Okay, this is Harrison's booth.
They got it stacked.
It's a pretty big booth.
He's got different machines.
And it's pretty big.
Goes the whole length of the floor.
And then they have all their cones.
It's big.
And then they would want to...
It's a huge place.
It's got like a whole storefront here.
And they got like a back room and everything.
It's impressive.
Oh, what do we have here? what do we have here?
The broken hearts of Chinese foreign nationals.
Hello, American!
Oh, hello, American!
Yeah, we are not finding what we want.
So many Chinese already came and beat us to it.
Now we're just Chinese sitting by ourselves.
Hello, American!
Hello!
Oh!
Hello!
Hello, American!
Oh, this is the role of Chinese broken dreams!
Hello, American!
Hello!
Hello American!
Hello!
Oh!
Hello American!
Wow!
Give us your technology American!
Hello American Machinery.
So complex.
Labels and the pressure pads.
Okay.
This is the bags that you made.
Who is this?
Is this Hanuman?
Is this Hanuman?
You're giving away Hanuman bags?
No, thank you.
Hello, Americans.
They don't even speak English.
They're not even hiding it.
Alright, so MJBizCon.
I didn't even anticipate doing my podcast.
It was actually the amount of technology that I saw being stolen that I was like, okay, I'll do a podcast about this.
And in the podcast, I end up getting to meet and interview Big Mike from Advanced Nutrients, probably one of the top five most legendary and iconic business leaders that shaped this industry, truly shaped this industry.
I mean, without your company, cannabis would have never taken off in the dark ages.
Yeah, the dark ages.
We pushed the envelope.
We realized that when it came to the nutrient game in our space, there was no nutrients specifically for cannabis.
So we just started researching cannabis with UBC University and BCIT and then from there went over to Bulgaria.
We had a license to study that.
During the Dark Ages there was only three licenses like that.
Tikkun Alam in Israel and GW Pharmaceutical in the UK and then us in Bulgaria.
We had a whole team of scientists from Sophia Technical University working with us, undergrads, and learned a lot about the plant.
And now we have our R&D in Fort Collins, Colorado with some amazing, really super smart scientists.
And we understand how the different pathways, how to up-regulate, down-regulate, and to manipulate the hell out of that plant through every stage of its development.
We have all the products that do it.
We have our 8th generation coming out.
It took us 3 years to develop and millions of dollars.
And it's all new technology.
And not only is it a 2-bag system instead of a 3-bag system, But every one of our biostimulants and biologicals are all just absolutely, it's a different beast totally.
And as good as advanced nutrients is, our 8th generation blows away our 7th generation.
We have some really dedicated R&D team that stays up until 2, 3 o'clock in the morning and studies and studies and studies and that's what you have to do to get ahead.
So the credit goes to the R&D team.
That's amazing and I gotta say, for the record, I'm 41 years old.
I've been growing with Advanced Nutrients since Humboldt State University growing in my closet at Humboldt State University.
God bless you.
God bless you.
So it's kind of a weird thing to end up here, you know, twenty-something years later.
But your company is so cool because it's always been on the ancillary.
Like, back in the dark ages when we were pushing the issue of legalization, They were even coming after ancillary companies.
Oh man, were they ever?
We've had so many bank accounts shut down and get hassled at the border.
And you were just selling nutrients for plants.
Our team members getting hassled, held up for hours, three hours, six hours, all their stuff being searched.
It's fertilizer, biostimulants, and biologicals for cannabis.
Okay, I get it, but we're ancillary.
Well, you can use it with anything else.
Listen, Advanced Nutrients holds the record that the guys who Broke the record for the biggest tomato in the world.
It's 8 pounds, watermelon 309 pounds, second largest orange pumpkin, the largest non-orange pumpkin, all with advanced nutrients.
In fact, some people even in their gardens who use advanced nutrients, one guy trades his local butcher the vegetables because they taste so good.
For meat at the butcher shop.
That's incredible.
That's incredible.
Thank you.
It's just, it's also inspiring, you know, like, because, like, you know, in order to really legitimize the industry and be able to just get something like retail sales in a recreational capacity, I mean, I remember when Tommy Chong's bong shop got raided.
Can you believe that?
I know Tommy very well now.
I can only imagine you would.
Yeah, and we were out to dinner probably about a month ago, and, like, They just picked on him.
Yeah, because he was a celebrity.
They put a target on his back.
He made the movies.
It was a character.
He's selling pipes and bombs.
Really?
You want to bust somebody and put them in jail for that?
So yeah, they did that.
He had to go through that.
He made it through.
Tommy Chung is an advocate of cannabis, and God bless him for doing what he did and pushing the envelope.
And I gotta say, for companies like mine, because we are an ancillary company making manufacturing equipment for the production of products, you know, to like, the trail that you blazed for ancillary companies in the space is really, and that's why you're really one of the leaders of this whole industry, from the seed to the sale.
You were here from the beginning.
We were the first company to come out and say, these products are for cannabis.
And it's backed by science.
We've always invested a lot of money in R&D. It's important.
What would you say to entrepreneurs like myself who have put their whole life savings into their vision and want to make it into cannabis?
First of all, when you become an entrepreneur, it's going to be a journey of self and what you're going to learn along the way about yourself.
And through the process, You're going to go through some really hard trials and tribulations.
Every self-made millionaire and billionaire I've talked to has gone through trials and tribulations and has been put into the fire.
And the fire either destroys you or you come out, as they say, tempered with a sheet of armor.
And you have to go through that.
And if you think that you're going to be an entrepreneur and you're going to have an easy life, you're mistaken.
It's going to be some of the hardest road you've ever traveled.
And in cannabis, they make it especially hard with their excess regulations.
Then you've got regulations, you've got the police knocking on your door, you've got banks debanking you.
It's a struggle.
Cannabis is an exceptionally more difficult space, but any other space, it's going to be the journey of a lifetime.
I'm in LA, and after the Cannageddon in California in 2018, after they legalized it, there were like two years of unbelievable profits in the cannabis industry.
And then regulations hit, and it became 35% excise tax, and you have to donate park benches as well.
Germany has it right.
They're just taxing it like a normal business.
And I would say to anyone who's listening to this in the government, Trump, you're going to be president.
Tax cannabis like a normal business and it will grow.
Because if you strangle it, now Europe has Germany and Germany is going to grow.
Right now, California cannabis is like putting Napa Valley and all the French wine production together.
California is known for their cannabis and will be the biggest exporter to the world if you reduce That tax.
If you don't, some other country is going to get that designation.
What do you think about, like, and just being real, because this is what my podcast is really about.
I speculate.
You know, we're really, like, we're open about our political beliefs on our show and everything like that.
Right.
What do you say about, like, Democrat lawmakers who, like, strategically constructed the laws in order intentionally to strangle the business?
I remember in 2016, The black market economy was expected to be $30 billion.
When they finally put up the metric system, they boast that their economy is $5 billion.
And there was 20,000 jobs that were lost in the cities of L.A. just to make it legal.
What all politicians have to realize is, and I spoke about this, tax it like a normal business, treat us like a normal business, and watch what happens.
The Democrats are going through a reset, let's just call that, and I see them doubling down on their old ways, and I think that they have to change their viewpoint.
Now, let's talk about Trump.
Trump has said that he's going to go for the Safe Backing Act, they're going to de-schedule it, and they're going to allow for export.
If all that actually happens, the Republicans We'll do more for cannabis than anyone else.
The Democrats, you know, for their side, they let us push that agenda.
They're the ones that let us get cannabis to where it is today.
But the marketplace has stalled where it's at.
Now it's time for the Republicans, it's their turn in office, to do it right.
And let's hope that they do.
In fact, I'm going to a roundtable of industry leaders in about 45 minutes.
And these are a group of guys who are going to Mar-a-Lago to talk to Donald Trump about cannabis.
And so it's going to be interesting to see what their take is on, what all of our take is on what we have to add to that.
You should have one of my investors on that panel, too.
He's always at Mar-a-Lago with the president.
Really?
I don't know who he is.
He's probably there.
Who knows?
I'll introduce you to him, Mike.
Anything to get Big Mike over with our company.
Yeah, all right.
But I wanted to...
I had this idea, being at MJBizCon, and, like, one thing that I've noticed here, as a tech company, you know, they pushed me heavily to get a booth, and in the end, we didn't get a booth because, you know, we want to have our...
Out of the way.
That's okay.
Like, a lot of shows for the first year or second year, they're open up.
We just walk the show to see if it gains traction or not.
MJBiz, I remember when they first started, it was just tiny, tiny, tiny.
And it wasn't until the third year that we saw them catching fire, growing in a good way, and we jumped in.
But I have seen some shrinking.
I've been here before and this is a smaller...
It's a little bit smaller than this.
It's better in the sense that the app that they've made is truly revolutionary.
I really encourage them to develop that into an actual social network.
They will make billions on it as a social network, as an app.
Cannabis is about community.
Exactly.
It is.
And you have to build a community.
So my only criticism about MJBizCon, which really inspired me to podcast, because I wasn't even going to broadcast to my community.
I was just coming here as an entrepreneur.
Yeah, just grab the camera and put the microphone in my face.
That's okay.
As an entrepreneur, I came here just for the success of my company.
But one thing that I noticed was the amount of Chinese nationals who are non-American, who are out here to steal technology.
And I think that MJBizCon can do a better job at checks and balances on making sure that American companies are safe.
You were talking about President Trump.
My suggestion, I asked the guy at the front on this video also about, and he said that more Chinese nationals are in the cannabis than other conferences.
But they're in all other conferences too, looking for technology because he works the show.
And I was thinking that, and I want your take on this, that maybe President Trump, because I know he's doing a lot for domestic security, maybe President Trump could ban foreign nationals from U.S. trade shows where sensitive technologies are being shared and displayed to the public.
What he will do is put tariffs, and the tariffs will automatically make them Non-competitive.
And I'm all for tariffs because, sure, we're going to be paying a little bit more, however, we've lost our middle class to China and we need to reshore all those companies back to America.
And as Americans, we should be willing to pay an extra $1.50 for our master lock being made here in America instead of China and all the jobs that it creates because our middle class has been gutted on This premise of, oh, shareholder value.
What about the nation we live in?
And what is the value you're contributing?
So sure, shareholder value is important, but so is domestic support for The people of the United States of America.
The greatest country in the world, by the way.
It is.
It's our home.
It's our country.
And our company is committed to buying American, hiring American, and building in America.
So we do our technology, we do our manufacturing in America, and we're committed to that vision because we have to build it together, you know.
China came there and said, hey, why don't you make your stuff in China?
Yeah, like, sure, I'm going to do that and give you all the formulations, you guys.
And their aunts, uncles, brothers and nephews will be knocking it off in different factories.
No way would that ever happen.
So we have manufacturing facilities in British Columbia, Canada, Washington State, Barcelona, Spain, in Sao Paulo, Brazil is going on, and we're currently in negotiations with Thailand.
That's so awesome.
Honestly, Advanced Nutrients is seriously one of the most interesting companies in the world.
We're 120 plus countries now.
I got a question for you.
How many patents do you own?
I had one just to go through the process.
And the reason why I don't like, in some things, when you have a chemical in a bottle, it's kind of hard sometimes.
It's very difficult to break it down.
So no one's copying our PH Perfect Technology.
Had I patented that, the patent would have ran out by now.
So I know that the investors love patents.
Sometimes it's better not to have a patent because you're basically showing your hands to the world and they can see a chemical and they can make an analog that's closer to it now, especially with AI. So sometimes it's better just to be hush-lipped.
So there's advantages and disadvantages in patents.
And by the way, if you get a patent, you have to defend it.
It's going to cost you $600 to $1 million plus to defend that patent.
And so sometimes it's better to keep your mouth closed.
Yeah.
Did you see Elon Musk's comments about patents?
They asked him about his patents.
No, what did he say?
They asked him about patents like a week ago, and his response was that Starlink and SpaceX and all of his tech companies open source all their patents, and they publish their patents as this kind of machismo thing, like bring your game type of a...
What's your stake on that?
Well, when you're highly intelligent, The ideas that flow out of highly intelligent people's brains never stop.
And so what is very easy for him to do, to come up with the next iteration, and the next iteration, and the next iteration, it just flows from his brain like water out of a faucet.
And I don't know if he's realized or not, that that's a special gift.
And not everybody has that.
And so he understands, I believe he understands that, and he goes, yeah, bring it on because I'm already four steps ahead of you.
I would open source stuff knowing that I was three or four moves ahead, and it doesn't matter.
And so one of the things that we're doing now is any company out here who wants to white label advanced nutrients, it's like, yeah, come on in.
We'll white label for you.
And even if they were able to figure something out, just like our competitors, sometimes they figure out some stuff, it doesn't matter.
We've got the 8th gen There's a new generation of ideas out there.
A new way of what it's going to do to the plant and how it's going to grow.
And we're already starting on our ninth generation.
That's crazy.
And not only do you got the ninth generation, but you've got that heirloom brand.
The heirloom brand of Advanced Nutrients.
That trademark is so industry standard.
It's a seal.
It's not just a company.
It's a seal of quality in your garden.
Our consistency of quality is, you know, bar none.
We use Haifa inputs.
We've been using Haifa inputs for 21 years.
Why?
Because Haifa makes fertilizers in Israel for the specialty crop business.
They understand that people are going to be eating the tomatoes and cucumbers and peppers and lettuce grown with that.
And so it is a super pure and clean product.
And why is that important?
Because, well, people consume cannabis.
And we don't want to If you look at the COAs, you'll see heavy metals, ND, ND, ND means non-detectable.
And we're really, really proud of it.
If you look at your CBG, it mostly gets, you'll see zero CBG because it's all been used to make cannabinoids.
And then there's GPP, that's like the grandfather of making all terpenes.
And, you know, we understand that pathway and we really juice that pathway and we can make the plant make more GPP. So now it can Make more terpene production.
And now we've even, in our 8th generation, we've supercharged that pathway even more.
This is so cool, and this is also like...
We look at upstream, downstream, and where we can hijack the system.
Yeah.
And we're going to get the most play.
It's such cutting edge technology.
There's like one of the pathways we use.
If someone were to look at it, they'd go, oh, that's just a nitrogen pathway.
Yeah, it is.
But what they don't realize is, it opens up all the other pathways for all the macros, secondaries, and micros.
And we know that pathway, and we hijack that pathway.
And it's like, literally, this 8th generation just opens the floodgates.
These plants are just big, beefier, thicker stalks.
The stalks are stiffer so the plant can sense it can put on more weight.
But the terpene production is second to none.
It's amazing technology.
I'm so proud of our R&D team and what they've produced.
You know, I'm not such a fan of this guy, but Saad Guru.
He works at the World Economic Forum.
He's kind of weird.
He likes population reduction.
He's a soil guy, right?
He's a soil guy.
And he gave this whole speech on Joe Rogan about soils.
And the truth is, American soil has been so depleted By heavy metals and pesticides.
You're right.
You know, in the new Trump administration, especially with the RFK going after the FDA and the CDC and all these different organizations, it would be so cool and so like also gold standard if someone like Donald Trump Have like a commission for soils and had you on it.
Would you be down to like get involved in Save American soils?
100% I would love to do that.
That would be amazing.
You heard it here first, guys.
I'm going to send this to Roger Stone directly.
I read Roger Stone in my house a long time ago.
He's on the show often.
Yeah, right.
Oh, good.
Good for you.
And so, cannabis is a great soil remediator.
Yeah.
It adds nitrogen to the...
And it also...
It's a great carbon sink, probably more than any other plant.
So reducing carbon emissions and all that, cannabis is really great for that as well.
Oddly enough, yesterday a gentleman came in here who has a product that costs X amount of dollars, it's reasonable, that you put it on an acre and it juices the soil and it's a mineralized product and adds Punch back to the soil.
And so we're really interested in this product for the outdoor cannabis growers because it fixes the soil.
I grow personally at my house.
For myself, the best part about transitioning into ancillary is not having to worry about cannabis sales.
If you're truly a connoisseur and you truly love the art of cannabis, it still carries with you.
So I grow a lot.
I use hugel cultures in my home gardens and advanced nutrients.
Well, thank you.
Thank you for the support.
I appreciate you.
I remember, gosh, there's so many different types of advanced nutrients products.
Well, you've got a bunch of products, yeah.
We have a deep war chest, tool chest.
It's the difference between going to Kmart and buying your tools or buying Snap-on tools.
You've got all the little tools that can get into all the nooks and grannies.
So depending on your strain, we have the right product fertigation protocol to set you up.
And the biggest misconception is that we're too expensive.
What we did is we invested in our production infrastructure during COVID, and now we have economies of scale, and we can produce at a lower cost.
We slashed our margins, because we realized that's where the game is going, and so now we can produce volume with all the different manufacturing facilities that we have.
That's incredible.
While I have you, because this is such a rare interview for me, because to all you guys at home, I've been watching this guy build his company for over a decade.
And it's the most impressive company in cannabis, hands down.
I want to ask you about your technology.
I want to ask you about your business.
My mind goes to a million different places having you for, whatever, this 20 minutes.
But as a company...
Give me some stats on your company.
How big is your company at this current juncture?
How many employees do you have?
You said you're in 120 countries.
Our products are 120 countries.
We've got 268 people.
We're right around 100 million during Coralette.
We had 161 million.
Impressive.
And our goal is to take it to, we'll probably hit about 150 in 2025. Incredible.
And how many SKUs do you guys carry?
Boy, I couldn't tell you off the top of my head.
Hundreds.
Did you say hundreds or thousands?
High hundreds, yes.
High hundreds.
Approaching a thousand.
I don't know.
I'd have to actually sit down.
But some of the stuff we're doing, skew rationalization as time goes on, You know, one of the things is we're keeping the 7th generation line for the hydroponic store, 8th generation, specifically for the commercial cultivation facilities.
We weaponized our product line specifically for the commercial cannabis space.
You know, an interesting thing, we run into a lot of some roadblocks even with the cultivators that we go in.
So, TruLeaf, they have a facility in Magnolia, Arizona.
And they ran a test against their True Newts, GH powders, and advanced nutrients.
They got 19% THC with their True Newts, 22% with GH, and 26% with us.
And the guy, when he saw the COAs, he said, you know, please take him to upper management.
They said, no, we're not going to do that.
Why?
Because the guy who mixes their own True Newts was afraid he was going to lose the job.
And this is the kind of mentality that's going on.
He doesn't realize if he would have showed them how they could make a couple hundred million dollars more per year by using advanced nutrients, they would have promoted him to a different job.
They say, man, you're a genius.
Thank you for being honest.
But in this case, this gentleman is putting himself first instead of the company first.
And then he's talking about entrepreneur.
One of the biggest things that you want to do when you hire people are people who put the company first before themselves.
And, you know, they're not a dime a dozen.
You get these people.
And you surround yourself with those type of people, especially your top five people, and you can just crush it.
But that's the biggest transition.
We've put all of our middle managers and upper management through a leadership course.
There's a book out there called I Am Leader by Chris Collins, and it has made an amazing difference.
It talks about external locus of control, internal locus of control, shadow integration.
In fact, we put Some of our team members, this happened.
I have three stories to tell.
We put them through the course.
There was one guy that after he went through the course, he went home and apologized to his wife.
Wow.
For being such a dick.
Can I say that?
Okay, yeah.
You can say whatever you want.
And then another case where a woman realized what she was doing, was divorced, and went back with her husband, and they got remarried.
Wow.
And another guy had a couple, I've heard this a couple times, that after the training, They have to pull over to the side of the road to process.
This is stuff that isn't taught in any other book.
You can go to Amazon.
It's called I Am Leader by Chris Collins.
And it was the most amazing way that we turned around our company.
Then realized, because of internal locust control, that they have to take full responsibility for their life and on their job.
And it has made all the difference in the world.
To our company, it's probably the best leadership training in the world that I've ever come across.
Because it rewires your brain, puts in a different architecture in your brain, and it's information that was never taught to us by our parents or anyone else.
And every single person we put through it, everyone's just gone, oh my god, thank you very much, you've changed my life.
Because it doesn't just help the business, because it does help the business, but their interpersonal skills, it really, really makes a difference.
In their whole life, and everything in their life gets easier.
You don't have to be fighting all the time.
Incredible.
I'm going to do this leadership course.
I am a leader, yeah.
Like Chris Collins.
And then you get the books, and then there's a seminar that he has as well.
Our entire industry, guys who are in the traditional market, they need to have this kind of, they must have this kind of training.
Because we were lone wolves.
We were self-dependent.
We didn't work as, you know, collaborate.
In a commercial way with teams and most of us had some pretty traumatic childhoods.
And most people do.
We're all products of trauma and reward.
And because of that we have this baggage and it burdens us.
It self-sabotages us.
It does a lot of things that we're not even aware of.
And so when you can put a different architecture in your brain And you can start collaborating with people and working with people, magic happens.
So I would definitely say get the book by Chris Collins, I Am Leader.
And there's a way, I'm sure, throughout the book that you can figure out how to get to his seminars.
The seminars are held in Los Angeles.
By the way, we flew people in.
From all our facilities all over the world just for this training.
And you're in Los Angeles.
And I'm in Los Angeles.
I've had the training.
Magic.
I'm going to do it because I've been watching your company for so long, always wondering, what is the secret sauce?
What is the secret sauce of Advanced Nutrients?
And here it is, secret sauce, Chris Collins, I am leader.
One of them.
One of them.
There's a lot of actual sauce.
After Chris Collins, it changed the trajectory of our company.
And by the way, It's not just our company.
When I talked to Chris, he said that most all the business, he went to Toyota and he's trained a bunch of management there and these other companies, and their revenue has increased from 200 to 400 percent because the people get it.
And also, your team members, employees, they have nowhere to hide after that.
They know that you know.
And because you've had the training too, it's like, okay.
That's incredible.
We have to have accountability and have to be responsible.
Big Mike, you are one of the most interesting and fascinating people and companies in all of cannabis.
I hope to make that list myself one day.
And I have to say, from his mouth, but since you're in LA, I'll leave you with this.
I have heard of your legendary parties.
I have to get myself invited to one of your parties.
Right now the economy is tough.
I don't feel good doing them, but we will do them again when the economy gets better.
Oh my god, when you throw a party, I want to be there.
I've heard about them.
The parties that we do are customer appreciation, grower appreciation, cultivator appreciation parties.
And you think that they're essential for your company's growth?
Is that one of your secret sales also?
Yeah, it is.
Alright, we'll close with that.
You want to have parties, and you want to get people in the same room together and appreciate them.
And when you do that, every party that we've ever thrown has increased our sales.
I will always be watching your company.
Thank you so much.
Thank you for this time.
Thank you, Adam.
We appreciate it.
Appreciate you.
There you have it, folks.
Big Mike.
Advanced Nutrients.
That was a killer interview.
People, that was big.
Cannabis trade shows are just different.
Cannabis trade shows are just different.
Alright, so I want to show the audience something really quick.
This is STM Canna.
This pre-roll machine, this is really cool because this company is one of the companies that I really also based my company off of.
And they made fucking millions of dollars.
With their machine.
This machine was a real...
The Rocketbox, the STM Rocketbox, was a real innovation in cannabis pre-roll production.
And, God, they have such a really cool company.
So, big shout-out to them.
If I can get an interview, I will, but...
I just wanted to show my audience, you know, because I'm going through this whole thing.
And it's, yeah, I'm making fun of the Chinese people who are stealing our shit, but...
And I'm also getting interviews, you know, like Big Mike, but...
I do want to showcase companies like STM Rocketbox that inspired companies like mine.
And hopefully, God willing, one day I'll be much bigger than them.
Thank you, STM. Oh, hello, silly American.
We are here to take your grow lights.
Oh, hello, American.
Oh, hello, American.
Oh, hello American.
Oh, shiny technology in America.
Oh, hello American.
What nice shiny technology you have.
So, this is my answer to all the...
God bless this guy right here.
Stevie D'Angelo's in the house.
Yo, as I'm closing out today, second day conference, I am just like flabbergasted at the success of everything that we're doing here in cannabis.
I just had a one-on-one with Stevie D'Angelo.
He agreed to come on the show.
Stevie D'Angelo is one of the greatest cannabis activists of all times.
These people fought the government.
For basic freedoms that all people enjoy today.
You want to smoke a joint?
These were the people who blazed the trail with their lives on the line.
And this was the second time I got to meet with Stevie.
He's older, but he's like a real legend of cannabis.
Cannabis activism.
And I got to tell him about our court case that we won with David Hakimfar, CCW Law.
You can see it in my film repository on Bandau Video.
That we made a law, actually.
The People vs.
Adam King.
Dealing with cannabis use and the ability to carry firearms in California.
There's an episode in my log about it when we won our case and set the precedent for the whole state.
And I got to have a whole meeting.
He's not like a business guy.
He's just like a legendary activist who really blazed the trail for all cannabis activism.
He's like one of the old school main guys.
I got to talk about my law.
And he was like...
Just so...
Like...
Because they all know about it.
It was a big deal in cannabis.
And I made this law.
And just hooked the people up, man.
Free the people.
Because they were trying to take away gun rights from people who used cannabis.
And I sued the sheriff's department for their...
Because I admitted...
I don't want to get...
I admitted to smoking cannabis on...
A CCW application.
I didn't want to lie.
I'm not a liar.
And so they snapped back at something.
Anyways, you guys could see it.
But it's cool to get recognized by Stevie D'Angelo for my activism.
Stevie D'Angelo for my activism.
Big Mike from...
Advanced Nutrients from my company.
So many companies.
I mean, Josh Kuhlman from Raw Papers.
There's a lot on the table, bro.
There's a lot on the table.
I don't know if I'm going to publish this segment.
Oh, here's more Chinese people.
Oh, hello, American.
I'll flip the camera.
Oh.
Hello, American.
Oh, another day.
Stealing American technology.
Oh.
We take back to China.
American technology.
These silly Americans.
We never smoked weed before.
We just take all their money.
We take all their money and then we resell them the machine that we stole from them.
Oh, silly American.
Stupid American.
Our boss is fentanyl, the Chinese dragon.
That is our boss.
We worship fentanyl, the Chinese dragon, and we come to America and we steal your technology.
All this technology that we take from you.
We go from China and we come back to America and take all your technology.
That's what we do.
We take all your technology.
Oh, stupid American.
I'm so weak.
Stupid Chinese.
You're in foreign territory.
Oh, what do we have here?
Oh, another group of stupid American.
Hello!
Hello, American!
We had a very busy day of taking pictures of machinery in America that we're going to take away from the American and we're going to go back to China and Make it very cheap and try to destroy American cannabis business.
Hello, American!
Hello, stupid American!
We love fentanyl, the Chinese dragon!
Oh, stupid American!
We buy your...
We steal your company!
Everything you do, we steal and go give to American!
Oh, we like your banking!
