[00:00:02] You're an amazing guy. [00:00:03] You've done an incredible job and a great inspiration to people. [00:00:07] A great inspiration. [00:00:08] And I hope you keep going and just continue to do well. [00:00:12] And we're going to have a big election coming up. [00:00:15] And I think November 5th will be the most important day in the history of our country. [00:00:20] I think that election will be the most important election. [00:00:23] And I think it'll end up being maybe the most important day in the history of our country, because If we don't win, I just feel so sorry for everybody. [00:00:33] No, I think we're at a fork in the road of destiny of civilization. [00:00:38] And I think we need to take the right path. [00:00:42] And I think you're the right path. [00:00:45] So I think that's what it comes down to. [00:00:46] Thank you very much, Elon. [00:00:47] It's a great honor. [00:00:49] And we'll do it again sometime. [00:00:51] And it's been really fun. [00:00:53] And I hope you got a lot of viewers. [00:00:54] I hear you got a lot. [00:00:56] But I hope you got a lot. [00:00:58] I know you got a lot of them. [00:01:00] So I appreciate it. [00:01:01] I'll see you soon. [00:01:04] All right. [00:01:04] Sounds good. [00:01:04] Thank you. [00:01:05] Thank you, Elon. [00:01:06] Thank you very much. [00:01:07] Thank you. Bye. [00:01:09] Wow, everybody. That was crazy. Unbelievable. [00:01:18] Geez Louise, man. That was some next level stuff. Wow. [00:01:26] That was probably the best interview I've ever seen in my life. [00:01:32] And it ended right now as we are going into Tisha B'Av. [00:01:38] It ended. [00:01:40] And now we are in the fast of Tisha B'Av. [00:01:44] As of now. [00:01:48] You know, I performed the rites and the rituals and was thinking, how do I conclude such an event like this? [00:01:54] Literally going into Tisha B'Av. [00:01:56] The sun just set. [00:01:58] It is now the fast set at 742. [00:02:00] Right now it's 748. [00:02:01] right now it's 748. So I was like, what could we possibly do to conclude such an [00:02:11] amazing legendary interview such as this? The only thing I can think of is to read [00:02:18] Eicha, the book of Lamentations. [00:02:22] Because this is where we are right now. [00:02:26] This is what humanity's struggle is. [00:02:32] This is the redemption moment, folks. [00:02:36] This is our redemption moment. [00:02:39] This is where we put it together. [00:02:41] This is where we save the day. [00:02:44] This is where we all show up, have those difficult conversations with people who don't want to hear your political opinions. [00:02:53] Let them know what you heard today. [00:02:57] And I say to President Trump, at real Donald Trump, I just want to say at, I want to call [00:03:03] them by their names now. [00:03:05] I want to say to at real Donald Trump and to at Elon Musk that thank you. [00:03:13] Thank you for that. [00:03:14] Thank you for that eye-opening, unbelievable interview. [00:03:19] And truly, truly one of a kind. [00:03:24] This could be the entire Campaign for the rest of the campaign. [00:03:31] Elon Musk and Donald Trump once a day, once a week. [00:03:37] But the truth is it should be every day because we should all show up every single day. [00:03:43] Humanity's at risk, folks. [00:03:46] We are at risk. [00:03:47] The entire collective of humanity is at risk. [00:03:53] That's why we're going to read Eicha. [00:03:56] The Book of Lamentations. [00:03:59] And we're gonna all retire after this to our domiciles. [00:04:06] We're gonna pray. [00:04:08] Absolutely pray for the peace of the world. [00:04:13] For the peace of Jerusalem. [00:04:18] For the Holy Temple to come speedily in our days. [00:04:24] The Holy Temple. [00:04:26] Wow. [00:04:27] What a blessing. [00:04:29] The Holy Temple. [00:04:32] And this could be our reality if we choose. [00:04:34] Life is about choices. [00:04:36] What do you do with the choice you have now? [00:04:38] Are you going to choose to rise? [00:04:40] Kumbaya! [00:04:41] The word Kumbaya. [00:04:43] It means rise inside of God. [00:04:46] Kumbaya! [00:04:47] Rise in God! [00:04:48] Are you gonna rise in God? [00:04:51] The God Spirit? [00:04:53] Defend our homeland? [00:04:55] Defend our way of life? [00:04:56] to friend freedom and justice and liberty for all? [00:05:00] That's what it's about. [00:05:09] Now is the time. [00:05:10] And that's why I say at real Donald Trump and at real Elon Musk. [00:05:17] That'd be funny. [00:05:19] It's so funny all the people that became at reals. [00:05:24] There was at real so-and-so, at real so-and-so, at real so-and-so. [00:05:29] Yo, I'm like Trump. [00:05:30] I'm at real so-and-so. [00:05:32] But for real, Trump is at real Donald Trump. [00:05:36] He is the at real so-and-so. [00:05:38] Donald Trump is the at real so-and-so. [00:05:41] Hands down. [00:05:45] But as we continue, joking aside, we're on the precipice of a global conflict between Iran and the West, with Israel on the front lines, radical Islamic jihad spread across Europe, Led by the Muslim Brotherhood. [00:06:06] Backed by Iran. [00:06:07] At the nape of Europe. [00:06:10] It's all Iran, folks! [00:06:13] Iran is so influential throughout Europe. [00:06:17] And at the fulcrum sits Israel. [00:06:19] Blocking the global caliphate. [00:06:23] And we are going to have a redemption, folks. [00:06:25] We are going to have a redemption. [00:06:28] The good God above is going to will it so. [00:06:32] And we are going to read Lamentations. [00:06:34] And us too are going to learn. [00:06:37] I said in my first comments about the interview that I was learning from these two men because I felt it. [00:06:53] I felt the power of learning. [00:06:55] It's unbelievable. === Jeremiah's Heartbreaking Task (03:44) === [00:06:58] The experience and the depth of being of these two individuals. [00:07:04] Oh, my God. [00:07:05] I mean, wow. [00:07:08] These two men know a lot of things. [00:07:12] As is customary in Judaism, we read the Book of Lamentations twice. [00:07:18] And so I am going to read it, but I am going to read it in English for all of you so that we can learn it together and understand the Word of God. [00:07:30] Let's read this precursor first. [00:07:32] Jeremiah was a young prophet to whom God assigned a heartbreaking task. [00:07:43] He was to tell Israel over and over again that destruction and exile were impending. [00:07:50] Warnings of destruction Warnings of destruction and pleas for repentance. [00:07:58] These were Jeremiah's message, but to no avail. [00:08:03] Prophets of doom are not popular, and no one was more unpopular than Jeremiah. [00:08:10] His written prophecies were burned, he was accused as a false prophet and a charlatan, and finally he was thrown into a dungeon. [00:08:23] Someone else might have become consumed with the hatred for the people that spurned and humiliated him. [00:08:32] But not Jeremiah. [00:08:35] Wow. [00:08:38] At the orders of King Nebuchadnezzar, the conquering Babylonian general, Nebuchadnezzar, released Jeremiah and treated him graciously. [00:08:49] But he was not comforted by his vindication or his freedom. [00:08:54] Jeremiah sought his suffering brothers. [00:08:57] He found their bloody footprints and weepingly knelt to kiss the blood-stained ground. [00:09:03] When he caught up with their famished, brutalized ranks, he embraced and kissed them. [00:09:13] He tried to put his own head into their heavy, abrasive chains, but Nebuchadnezzar forced [00:09:20] him away. [00:09:21] Nebuchadnezzar forced him away. [00:09:28] The general of Nebuchadnezzar. [00:09:31] The conquering Babylonian general, Nebuzaradan, he's the one who released Yirmiyahu, Jeremiah. [00:09:40] And he tried to put his head in the chains of the Jews, and Nebuzaradan forced him away that he can't do that. [00:09:50] It was like he was exempt. [00:09:52] God couldn't spare shackling Jeremiah. [00:09:58] To his brethren he cried out, if only you had wept once in remorse over your sins, when you were still in Zion, you would not have been exiled. [00:10:14] Crazy. [00:10:15] If only you would have wept once over your sins. [00:10:22] If only you would have wept once in remorse over your sins. [00:10:29] If you would have wept once when you were still in Zion, you would have not been exiled. === Tisha B'Av: Day of Jewish Tragedy (02:52) === [00:10:40] Alas, they had not wept, but he did before, during, and after his personal and national ordeals. [00:10:56] The Book of Lamentations is Jeremiah's personal elegy, his lamenting of his people, his lament for his people, and it alludes to Jewish woe throughout history. [00:11:13] The book is read on Tisha B'Av, which we have just dawned at this very moment. [00:11:20] The ninth day of the Hebrew month of Av. [00:11:24] The quintessential day of Jewish tragedy. [00:11:28] It was the day when the Jews in the wilderness believed in the libel of the spies. [00:11:34] And that generation lost its chance to enter the land of Israel. [00:11:39] Among other national calamities, both temples were destroyed on Tisha B'Av. [00:11:47] Nor was the catalog of woe limited to ancient times. [00:11:51] During the times of the Spanish Inquisition, Tish'a b'Av, 1492, was the deadline for the Jews to leave the country or face death. [00:12:02] And in 1914, Tish'a b'Av was the day when World War I was declared, thus ushering in the political and economic collapse that resulted in the Bolshevik Revolution and the Holocaust. [00:12:17] The sages teach that the Messiah will be born on Tisha B'Av, meaning that a proper understanding of and reflection upon the cause of destruction reveal that contained within it are the seeds of redemption. [00:12:38] We do not forget our tragedies. [00:12:43] Rather, we retain our optimism. [00:12:47] Because, quote, had I not fallen, I could not have arisen. [00:12:57] Had I not sat in the darkness, God would not have been a light for me. [00:13:04] End quote. [00:13:05] Midrash Tehillim, Chapter 22. [00:13:07] The book of Lamentations, my friends, was written by Jeremiah the prophet. === Alas, She Sits Alone (15:26) === [00:13:22] And now we will begin. [00:13:23] Alas, she sits in solitude. [00:13:35] The city that was great with people has become like a widow. [00:13:41] The greatest among nations, the princess among provinces, has become a tributary. [00:13:53] She weeps bitterly in the night, and her tear is on her cheek. [00:14:00] She has no comforter from all of her paramours. [00:14:06] All of her friends have betrayed her. [00:14:09] They have become her enemies. [00:14:14] Judah has gone into exile because of suffering and great servitude. [00:14:22] She dwelled among the nations, but found no rest. [00:14:27] All her pursuers overtook her in dire straits. [00:14:33] The roads of Zion are mourning for lack of festival pilgrims. [00:14:40] All her gates are desolate. [00:14:44] Her priests sigh. [00:14:46] Her maidens are afflicted and she herself is embittered. [00:14:54] Her adversaries have become her master. [00:14:58] Her enemies are at ease. [00:15:02] For Hashem has afflicted her for her abundant transgressions. [00:15:09] Her young children have gone into captivity before the enemy. [00:15:16] Gone from the daughter of Zion is all her splendor. [00:15:21] Her leaders were like hearts that found no pastor. [00:15:25] They walked on without strength before the pursuer. [00:15:34] Her leaders were like hearts that found no pastor. [00:15:41] They walk on without strength before the pursuer. [00:15:47] Hm. [00:15:52] Hashem Yirachem. [00:15:56] Jerusalem recalled the days of her suffering and sorrow, all the treasures that were hers in the days of old, with the fall of her people into the enemy's hand. [00:16:11] And none to help her. [00:16:14] Her enemies saw her and gloated at her downfall. [00:16:21] Jerusalem sinned greatly. [00:16:23] She has therefore become a wanderer. [00:16:27] All who once respected her disparage her, for they have seen her disgrace. [00:16:35] She herself sighs and turns away. [00:16:40] Her impurity is on her hems. [00:16:44] She was heedless of her end. [00:16:47] She has descended astonishingly. [00:16:51] There is no one to comfort her. [00:16:54] See, O Hashem, my suffering, for the enemy has acted prodigiously. [00:17:04] The enemy spread out his hands on all her treasures. [00:17:07] Indeed, she saw nations invade her sanctuary. [00:17:12] Nations about whom you had commanded that they should not enter your congregation. [00:17:20] All her people are sighing, searching for bread. [00:17:25] They traded with their enemies for food to restore the soul. [00:17:32] See, O HaShem, and behold what a glutton I have become. [00:17:41] May it not befall you, all who pass by this road. [00:17:46] Behold and see, if there is any pain like my pain, which befell me, which Hashem has afflicted me on the day of His burning wrath. [00:17:58] From on high he sent a fire into my bones, and it overcame them. [00:18:04] He spread a net from my feet. [00:18:07] He hurled me backwards. [00:18:09] He made me desolate, sick throughout the day. [00:18:14] The burden of my transgressions was accumulated in his hand. [00:18:20] They were knit together and thrust upon my neck. [00:18:24] He sapped my strength. [00:18:27] The Lord has delivered me into the hands of those I cannot withstand. [00:18:34] The Lord has trampled all my heroes in my midst. [00:18:39] He proclaimed a set time against me to crush my young men. [00:18:45] As in a winepress, the Lord has trodden the maiden daughter of Judah. [00:18:52] Over these do I weep. [00:18:54] My eye continuously runs with water because of a comforter to restore my soul is far from me. [00:19:05] My children have become forlorn because the enemy has prevailed. [00:19:10] Zion spreads out her hands. [00:19:20] There is none to comfort her. [00:19:23] Hashem commanded against Jacob that his enemies should surround him. [00:19:30] Jerusalem has become as one unclean in their midst. [00:19:36] Hashem is righteous, for I disobeyed his utterance. [00:19:43] Listen now, all you people, and come see my pain. [00:19:49] Listen now, all you people, and see my pain. [00:19:53] My maidens and my youths have gone into captivity. [00:20:06] I called for my paramours, but they deceived me. [00:20:11] My priests and my elders perished in the city as they sought food for themselves to restore their souls. [00:20:20] See, Hashem, for I am in distress. [00:20:31] My innards burn. [00:20:33] My heart is turned over inside of me, for I rebelled grievously. [00:20:40] Outside the sword bereaved, inside was death-like. [00:20:48] They heard how I sighed. [00:20:50] There was none to comfort me. [00:20:53] All my enemies heard of my plight and rejoiced, for it was you who did it. [00:21:00] Oh, bring on the day you proclaimed and let them be like me. [00:21:07] Let all their wickedness come before you and inflict them as you inflicted me for all my transgressions. [00:21:18] For my groans are many and my heart is sick. [00:21:21] Echa, alas. [00:21:33] Thanks. [00:21:35] The Lord in His anger has clouded the daughter of Zion. [00:21:40] He cast down from heaven to earth the glory of Israel. [00:21:46] He did not remember His footstool on the day of His wrath. [00:21:52] The Lord consumed without pity all the dwellings of Jacob. [00:21:57] In his anger, he razed the fortresses of the daughter of Judah down to the ground. [00:22:04] He profaned the kingdom and its leaders. [00:22:11] He cut down in burning anger all the dignity of Israel. [00:22:17] He drew back his right hand in the presence of the enemy. [00:22:20] He burned through Jacob like a flaming fire, consuming on all sides. [00:22:26] He bent his bow like an enemy, his right hand poised like a foe. [00:22:32] He slew all those who were pleasant to the eye. [00:22:37] In the tent of the daughter of Zion, he poured out his wrath like fire. [00:22:49] The Lord became like an enemy. [00:22:51] He consumed Israel. [00:22:54] He consumed all her citadels. [00:22:58] He destroyed its fortresses. [00:23:01] He increased within the daughter of Judah agony and grief. [00:23:07] He stripped his booth like a garden. [00:23:10] He destroyed his place of assembly. [00:23:14] He destroyed his place of assembly. [00:23:43] of assembly. [00:23:44] Hashem made Zion oblivious of festivals and Shabbats. [00:23:50] And in his fierce anger, he spurned the king and the Kohen. [00:24:00] The Lord rejected his altar, abolished his sanctuary. [00:24:04] He handed over the hand of the enemy the walls of her citadels. [00:24:12] They raised a clamor in the Temple of Hashem as though it were a festival. [00:24:21] Hashem resolved to destroy the wall of the Daughter of Zion. [00:24:26] He stretched out the line and did not draw back His hand from consuming. [00:24:33] Indeed, He made a rampart and wall mourn. [00:24:39] He made Rampart and Wall mourn. [00:24:42] And together they languished. [00:24:49] Her gates have sunk into the earth. [00:24:53] He has destroyed and broken her bars. [00:24:57] Her king and her officers are among the nations. [00:25:03] There is no Torah. [00:25:05] Her prophets, too, find no vision from Hashem. [00:25:09] They sit on the ground, and they are not able to see. [00:25:13] They sit on the ground. [00:25:18] They are silent. [00:25:20] The elders of the daughters of Zion. [00:25:24] They have strewn ashes on their heads, have girdled themselves in sackcloth, The maidens of Jerusalem have bowed their heads to the ground. [00:25:40] My eyes fail with tears. [00:25:43] My innards burn. [00:25:44] My liver spills on the ground at the ruination of the daughter of my people, while babes and sucklings swoon in the streets of the city. [00:25:57] They say to their mothers, Where is grain and wine? [00:26:03] And they swoon like a dying man in the streets of the town as their soul ebbs away in their mother's laps. [00:26:16] With what shall I bear witness for you? [00:26:20] To what can I compare you, O daughter of Jerusalem? [00:26:24] To what can I liken you that I may comfort you, O maiden daughter of Zion? [00:26:33] Your ruin is as vast as the sea. [00:26:36] Who can heal you? [00:26:40] Your prophets envisioned for you vanity and foolishness, and they did not expose your iniquity to bring you back in repentance. [00:26:52] They envisioned for you oracles of vanity and deception. [00:26:56] All who pass along the way clap hands at you. [00:27:06] They whistle and wag their heads at the daughters of Jerusalem. [00:27:11] Could this be the city that was called perfect in beauty? [00:27:15] Joy of all the earth? [00:27:22] All your enemies open their mouths wide at you. [00:27:26] They whistle and gnash their teeth. [00:27:30] They say, we have devoured her. [00:27:33] Indeed, this is the day we longed for. [00:27:37] We have found it. [00:27:38] We have seen it. [00:27:43] Hashem has done what He has planned. [00:27:48] He carried out His decree. [00:27:53] Which he ordained from the days of old. [00:27:59] He devastated. [00:28:01] He did not pity. [00:28:02] He let the enemy rejoice over you. [00:28:08] He raised the pride of your foes. [00:28:17] Their heart cried out to the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion. [00:28:22] Shed tears like a river, day and night. [00:28:25] Give yourself no respite. [00:28:27] Do not let the apple of your eye be still. === Prayer For Mercy (11:09) === [00:28:35] Arise, cry out at night in the beginning of the watches. [00:28:40] Pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. [00:28:44] Lift up your hands to Him for the life of your young children who swoon from hunger at every street corner. [00:28:54] See, O HaShem, and behold whom you have treated so. [00:28:59] Should women eat their own offspring? [00:29:03] The babes of their care? [00:29:05] Should Cohen and Prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord? [00:29:14] Out on the ground, in the streets they lie, young and old. [00:29:19] My maidens and my young men have fallen by the sword. [00:29:23] You slew them on the day of your wrath. [00:29:26] You slaughtered them. [00:29:27] You showed no mercy. [00:29:32] You invited, as on a festival time, my evil neighbors round about, so that at the day of Hashem's wrath there was no survivor or escapee. [00:29:45] Those I cherished and brought up, my enemies has wiped out. [00:30:02] I am the man who has seen affliction by the rod of his anger. [00:30:13] He has led me and driven me into darkness and not light. [00:30:19] Only against me did he turn his hand all day long. [00:30:24] He has worn away my flesh and skin. [00:30:34] He has broken my bones. [00:30:36] He has besieged me and encircled me with bitterness and travail. [00:30:41] He has placed me in darkness like the eternally dead. [00:30:45] He has walled me in so that I cannot escape. [00:31:01] He has weighed down my chain. [00:31:05] Though I would cry out and plead, he shut out my prayer. [00:31:11] He walled up my roads with hewn stone. [00:31:17] He distorted my paths. [00:31:19] He is a lurking bear to me. [00:31:30] A lion in hiding. [00:31:34] He has strewn my paths with thorns and made me tread carefully. [00:31:40] He made me desolate. [00:31:43] He bent his bow and set me up as a target for the arrow. [00:31:49] He shot into my vitals the arrow of his quiver. [00:31:55] I have become a laughingstock to all my people. [00:31:59] Object of their jibes all day long. [00:32:06] He filled me with bitterness, sated me with wormwood. [00:32:14] He ground my teeth on gravel. [00:32:18] He made me cower in ashes. [00:32:21] My soul despaired of having peace. [00:32:24] I have forgotten goodness and I said, Lost is my strength and my expectation from Hashem. [00:32:35] Remember my afflictions and my sorrow, the wormwood and the bitterness. [00:32:59] My soul remembers well and makes me despondent. [00:33:03] Yet this I bear in mind. [00:33:06] Therefore, I still hope. [00:33:08] Hashem's kindness surely has not ended. [00:33:18] it. [00:33:19] We'll see you next time. [00:33:20] Nor are His mercies exhausted. [00:33:24] They are new every morning. [00:33:27] Great is your faithfulness. [00:33:30] Hashem is my portion, says my soul. [00:33:34] Therefore, I have hope in Him. [00:33:39] Hashem is good to those who trust in Him. [00:33:42] To the soul that seeks Him. [00:33:51] It is good to hope silently for Hashem's salvation. [00:33:57] It is good for a man that he bear a yoke in his youth. [00:34:00] Let one sit in solitude and be submissive, for he has laid it upon him. [00:34:15] Let him put his mouth to the dust. [00:34:18] There may yet be hope. [00:34:22] Let one offer his cheek to his smitter. [00:34:27] Let him be filled with disgrace. [00:34:33] For the Lord does not reject forever. [00:34:38] He first afflicts, then pities, according to his abundant kindness. [00:34:45] For he does not torment capriciously, nor afflict man. [00:34:53] To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth? [00:34:57] To deny a man justice in the presence of the Most High? [00:35:01] To wrong a man in his conflict the Lord does not approve? [00:35:10] Whose decree was ever fulfilled if the Lord did not ordain it? [00:35:16] Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that evil and good emanate? [00:35:23] Of what shall a living man complain? [00:35:26] A man for his sins. [00:35:32] That's what a man should complain. [00:35:34] A man for his sins. [00:35:40] Let us search and examine our ways and return to Hashem. [00:35:47] Let us lift our hearts with our hands to God in heaven. [00:35:53] We have transgressed and rebelled. [00:35:57] You have not forgiven. [00:36:03] You have enveloped yourself in anger and pursued us. [00:36:06] You have slain. [00:36:08] You have not shown mercy. [00:36:10] You wrapped yourself in a cloud that prayer cannot pierce. [00:36:16] You made us filth and refuse among the nations. [00:36:23] All our enemies opened their mouths wide at us. [00:36:27] Panic and pitifulness were ours. [00:36:30] Ravage and ruin. [00:36:33] Our eye runs with streams of water at the ruination of my people. [00:36:40] My eye will flow and will not cease without relief until Hashem looks down and takes notice from heaven. [00:36:50] My eyes have brought me grief over all the daughters of my city. [00:36:56] Huh. [00:36:57] I have been constantly ensnared like a bird by my enemies without cause. [00:37:20] Thank you. [00:37:22] They cut off my life in a pit and threw stones at me. [00:37:26] Water flowed over my head. [00:37:28] I said, I am doomed. [00:37:32] I called on your name, Hashem, from the depth of the pit. [00:37:38] You have heard my voice. [00:37:40] Do not shut your ear from my prayer, from my cry. [00:37:44] You drew near on that day I would call to you. [00:37:47] You said, fear not! [00:37:50] You championed my cause. [00:37:53] Oh Lord, you redeemed my life. [00:37:56] You have seen, Hashem, the injustices that I suffer. [00:38:01] Judge my cause! [00:38:03] You have seen all their vengeance. [00:38:07] All their designs regarding me. [00:38:08] You have heard their insults. [00:38:12] Hashem, all their designs against me. [00:38:15] The speech of my enemies and their thoughts are against me all day long. [00:38:26] Look at their sitting and their rising. [00:38:29] I am the butt of their taunts. [00:38:34] Pay them back their due, Hashem. [00:38:39] As they have done. [00:38:42] Give them a broken heart. [00:38:45] May your curse be upon them. [00:38:49] pursue them in anger and destroy them from under the heavens of Hashem. [00:38:55] Echad, Echad, Echad, Hashem, Echad. [00:39:22] Alas! === Even Jackals Suckle Young (14:42) === [00:39:37] The gold is dimmed. [00:39:39] The finest gold is changed. [00:39:56] Alas, they are now treated like earthen jugs, work of a potter. [00:40:03] Even jackals will offer the breast and suckle their young. [00:40:11] The daughter of my people has become cruel like ostriches in the desert. [00:40:16] Wow. [00:40:25] You Even jackals will offer the breast and suckle their young. [00:40:33] The daughter of my people has become cruel, like ostriches in the desert. [00:40:38] The tongue of the suckling cleaves to its palate for thirst. [00:40:48] Young children plead for bread. [00:40:51] No one extends it to them. [00:40:55] Those who feasted extravagantly lie desolate in the streets. [00:41:03] Those who were brought up in scarlet clothing embrace garbage heaps. [00:41:11] The iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the sin of Sodom, which was overturned in a moment, though not mortal hands were laid on her. [00:41:27] her crowned ones, who were purer than snow, whiter than milk, whose complexion was ruddier than rubies, [00:41:35] whose build was solid like sapphire. [00:41:59] It became dry as wood. [00:42:03] More fortunate were those slain by the sword than those slain by famine. [00:42:09] for they pine away, stricken, lacking the fruit of the field. [00:42:15] More fortunate were those slain by the sword than those slain by famine. [00:42:27] For they pine away, stricken, lacking the fruits of the field. [00:42:36] The hands of compassionate women have boiled their own children. [00:42:41] They became their food in the ruination of the daughter of my people. [00:42:47] HaShem vented His fury. [00:42:50] He poured out His burning anger. [00:42:53] He kindled a fire in Zion, which consumed its foundations. [00:42:59] The kings of the earth did not believe, nor did any of the world inhabitants, that the adversary or enemy could enter the gates of Jerusalem. [00:43:52] Away! [00:43:53] Don't touch! [00:43:55] For they are loathsome and wander about. [00:44:00] The nations had said, they will no longer sojourn here. [00:44:07] Anger of Hashem has divided them, caring for them no longer. [00:44:14] They showed no regard for the Kohanim, nor did they favor the elders. [00:44:21] Our eyes still strained in vain for our deliverance. [00:44:25] In our expectations, we watched for a nation that could not save. [00:44:32] They dogged our steps so we could not walk in our streets. [00:44:37] An end drew near. [00:44:39] Our days are filled, for our end has come.
