Congress votes to impose embargo on Iran.

And the LA Times has the headline, Iran controversial attempt to break Israeli blockade off Gaza called off.
And the LA Times echoes my sentiments.
Okay, people, relax.
World War III is not going to break out this weekend over a high-seas confrontation between Iranian aid ships Headed to Gaza Strip in Israeli gunboats aiming to stop them.
Look, I want the Gazan people to get their aid, but I do not want to have an excuse for World War III to start between Iran and Israel.
And I don't know what the Iranian government was thinking, saying, yeah, we're going to send basically military ships to escort.
What was Turkey thinking?
And what was Israel thinking, saying they were going to attack them?
I mean, I'm glad somebody backed down.
I mean, why would Iran want to give Israel an excuse to attack it?
Why would Israel want to escalate things and board the ship the way they did?
It's just a bunch of people full of bravado, full of macho arrogance.
This is how wars get started, my friends, and I want to avert war.
It's just like in your daily life.
It'd be easy at the grocery store.
You know, if somebody pushes your car out of the way and kind of bows up to you, it'd be easy to punch them right in the face and break their nose and go to jail.
But the winner just smiles and says, you're very powerful.
Yes, I'm scared of you.
Of course, that's a smart mouth thing to say.
It's just best to ignore them and act like you didn't notice the slight.
Now, if somebody corners you, you don't have a choice.
You're going to defend yourself.
Take them down as fast as you can.
Hurt them bad.
Punch them right in the throat.
Uppercut him in the nose.
That's the same thing militarily.
It's what George Washington stated, that walk softly and carry a big stick.
As wise as serpents, as peaceful as doves.
No foreign entanglements.
That's actually what he said.
Alright, I'm already digressing, but that is good news that Iran has backed down, and now they'll have a better hand to play against these illegal, out-of-control sanctions, which are acts of war as well.
So, the good news and the bad news.
House and Senate leaders finalized details of sweeping financial overhaul that's passed the House and Senate, now in conference.
This is really bad.
And this is economic sanctions on us, the American people, that are very similar to this next little jewel.

His military standing as his four-star rank greatly waned around the world after the fainting episode.

McChrystal Firing by Obama, by the way, has divided victory, the Taliban mouthpiece added.

But in other news, Congress votes to impose embargo on Iran.
Congress on Thursday approved tough new unilateral sanctions aimed at squeezing Iran's energy and banking sectors.
Which could also hurt companies in other countries doing business with Tehran, Reuters reports.
The House of Representatives passed the bill, 408 to 8, and sent it to President Barack Hussein Barry Sotero Obama for signing into law.
The Senate had approved it 99 to 0 earlier in the day.
Congress has pushed for crippling sanctions against Iran for months at the behest of the Obama, in other words, the behest of the elite.
Congress Held off until the UN Security Council and the European Union agreed on the new multilateral sanctions.
Congress, however, believes that more punitive measures are still required in order to punish the Islamic State for its nuclear energy program.
Iran is permitted under the NPT to develop nuclear energy, but Congress, Obama, Israel, and the Europeans insist the program is a cover for a nuclear weapons program.
The U.N. sanctions, though, a good first step, are quite tepid.
And they are tepid because there are other members of the Security Council who want to keep going and doing the business with Iran.
The United States has to pass unilateral sanctions, declared Democrat Senator Barbara Mikulski.
The U.S. has intensified the Gulf and infused the Gulf states with armaments and currently has an armada of warships patrolling Iran's shores.
Iran's rulers will sense that the Conventional balance of power is tilting dramatically against them, explains the Council on Foreign Relations.
Yes, the global empire is amassing armies against Iran, one of the countries they haven't mopped up.
They've mopped us up here nicely in the United States, haven't they?
And they're teaching us about the balance of power at the CFR with a little oil spill.

So the United Nations passes illegal, draconian sanctions on Iran.
Iran has allowed inspectors into all their facilities.
