Okay, what we've done is we've collected over 80,000 signatures here in New York for a new petition to have an impartial subpoena-powered investigation in November. | |
| We have, the city has competed that we have more than enough signatures. | ||
| Both times we handed in signatures, and now we're in the court systems. | ||
| It's going to be, oral arguments will be heard tomorrow morning at 9 30 a.m. room 252 in the State Supreme Court here in Manhattan. | ||

| We're going to be heard by Edward Lehner, the judge, and a decision will be rendered by Wednesday. | ||

| The language of the petition has to be legal. | ||
| And the city clerk is saying, no, it's not legal. | ||
| You can't have an investigation like this. | ||
| This is a federal matter. | ||
| And there's a host of other reasons they put it away. | ||
| Really? A city and a people can't have an investigation if they want? | ||
| Only the feds are allowed to investigate anything. | ||
| Boy, they're telling the people you have no rights to petition the court for redress of grievances. | ||
| I mean, this is the most fundamental right we have in the First Amendment. | ||
