you you you The Adventures in Hellworld podcast talks in-depth about QAnon.
While it's meant to be comedic informative, sometimes we have to get into things like child abuse and violence against people.
Listener discretion advised.
Hello, everybody.
I am Mike Raines, a.k.a.
Poker and Politics, joined by a clicking noise of a powerful mouse that my co-host is using that her microphone is picking up very loudly.
I am so sorry.
I thought I was muted.
I apologize.
Oh my God.
Anyhow, I'm here.
So is Steph.
Haley apparently is all tuckered out from the No Kings protests, and she'll tell that story next time we all get together.
Eric's out doing Father's Day stuff, I assume.
Good on them for having lives, unlike me, the schmuck who is just ready to get on.
Ye olde microphone and talk about stuff.
And boy howdy is there stuff to talk about.
But what I was wanting to focus this pod on is the Minnesota shooting and the misinformation that's come out directly after the shooting happened.
Because this is how right-wing media works in America.
This is how social media works at this time.
So, Steph, how did you hear about this event and what was the news as it was delivered to you about the attack in Minnesota?
I saw some stuff on my news feed.
I was just kind of scrolling, you know, doing the Alex Jones headlines thing.
And then I was on Blue Sky and I saw...
I didn't like anything.
I didn't share anything.
Because this had just happened.
A bunch of people were saying, how do they know that it's someone impersonating a cop and not actually a cop if they don't know who this person is?
You know, I don't think a cop would dress like a cop if he was going to go do an assassination.
I think he would dress like something else.
But, you know, that was the first thing I was seeing about it, like over and over and over again on Blue Sky.
Yeah, so for those of you who don't know, A right-wing nut named Vance Bulleter.
I guess I got that last name right.
Don't care.
You're a shooter.
You don't get to have your name said correctly.
This guy killed a representative from the Minnesota Statehouse and their spouse and then also shot another couple.
But that couple is supposed to survive their injuries.
We had surgery, and they're recovering.
So, and this guy is still on the loose, and by all accounts, he had some sort of fake police-looking vehicle, and he had a fake police uniform.
And this whole thing started out with The shooting, and now people are just sitting around saying, okay, what is going on?
who is this guy and um Thank you.
So, when something like this happens, the first thing that people do is they try to find a motive.
And the most important thing for right-wing grifters and conspiracy theorists is to make sure that motive is not That this person was a right-wing extremist.
This person was not a person on our side of the fence.
Because even though right-wingers are hyper-violent and constantly calling for the execution of their enemies by the state, when something like this happens, they disown.
They disowned the shooters.
They always disowned the shooters.
They always disowned the political activists who resort to violence.
We talked about this before.
The Q Shaman.
They just disowned that guy.
We don't know him.
We don't know what you're talking about.
That guy's deep state.
During January 6th.
So this guy, they didn't want him to be a right-winger.
And so they ran with a report.
From the New York Post that this guy had been quote-unquote appointed by Governor Walz or that he was a quote-unquote appointee from Governor Walz.
And this is obviously done to infer that this guy is a Democrat, that he is connected to the Democratic Party of Minnesota, etc., etc.
And his appointment was to some sort of business.
Committee.
It was not some political committee.
This is one of a million different things that a government in a state or a nation sets up.
And he was one of tons of people that just get these kinds of appointments.
I'm sure that Tim Walz wasn't scrutinizing this guy's background and having the governor's office vet him for this job of being appointed to this business council.
And the guy's actual politics came out, and he is a hardcore anti-abortionist.
He has literally done the whole go to Africa and talk to the Africans about why gay people are bad and need to be murdered.
And so this guy is a Christian nationalist.
He is aggressively anti-abortion.
He had a hit list full of further Democrats that he wanted to murder.
And he is a registered Republican, shockingly.
And he's been a registered Republican his whole life.
And this is just the way it is.
I mean, this is what this guy is.
And these people don't want to acknowledge that because to acknowledge that would mean that they're...
As consequences, people listen to them and they take them up on it.
And they go out and they perpetrate violence against people.
That's how these people operate.
And so right now there is the great distancing and the great muddying of waters that is going on with this case.
And how much of this kind of stuff have you seen on the internet?
I've, you know, like the people saying, like, oh, how do they know that it's someone impersonating a cop?
I saw that, and that was mostly it.
I saw a lot of people posting, like, sermons that he'd done or, like, speaking engagements.
I didn't listen to them.
I don't, that shit raises my blood pressure.
You know, aside from the just-asking-questions crowd at the very start, most of it was just showing, you know, this guy's definitely an extremist.
And I just pulled something up.
His wife was arrested or is being detained.
They caught her doing a Scott Peterson.
She was in a car.
She had cash.
Weapons, ammunition, and passports.
Yeah, I just saw that.
I'm seeing people saying she was working with him and helping him out in the mission or that kind of thing.
So we'll see where they go on that front.
I mean, it doesn't look good.
Nope.
One other thing that I wanted to bring up here about this is that while they try to make this out that this guy's not a right-winger, this guy's not someone that is a part of their party and is a part of the evil of their movement,
they also like to reassure their audience that The worst of the conspiracy theories they peddle when it comes to left-wingers and the Illuminati and the Deep State are true.
Cernovich, our boy Cern, who is, you know, just a standard dirtbag piece of shit.
Cernovich had a tweet and it stated that, in question, just asking questions about if Walls had activated this guy.
And I think that's very important to note that he didn't say that he hired this guy or that he ordered this guy to commit the shooting.
The word activate is very specific and it refers to MKUltra and sleepers.
And this is a big part of an Illuminati conspiracy theory, QAnon stuff.
And I've actually had people push back on me and tell me, hey, MKUltra isn't a conspiracy theory.
It really happened.
We've documented it.
And yes, it is true that MKUltra is real, and it did happen.
But the MK Holdra that is real and did happen ended in the 1970s.
The church committee...
President Ford signed an executive order saying that the government's not allowed to drug people without their consent.
All this good stuff.
And the people that believe in MKUltra now believe that it was never disbanded and it just kept going, which they have no evidence for.
Project Monarch is what they call the continuance.
Oh, God, you just unlocked the memory.
So Project Monarch is...
Arizona Wilder and Kathy O 'Brien.
Kathy O 'Brien.
Kathy O 'Brien is the name of the nut.
Kathy O 'Brien is the one who spun Project Monarch out of MKUltra.
And basically Kathy claimed that she was a sex trafficked victim and that she was part of Project Monarch and that she was a victim of Project Monarch.
And there's no evidence that this existed.
She just made this shit up.
And her argument is...
is what Steph just said, that Project Monarch was an offshoot of MKUltra, which is how you try to get credibility for your crank bullshit by tying it into real things that actually happened.
So you don't just have...
Sounds great, you dumb crank.
And then you're like, oh, no, you don't understand.
Project Monarch was the sequel to MKUltra.
And then people were like, oh, I know MKUltra.
This sounds more plausible now.
Yeah, that's what they did with the Philadelphia Experiment and Project Montauk and stuff like that.
They tied all of this stuff into, you know, the minutiae and said, oh, well, this was just a continuance.
And that was...
indirectly, well, directly or indirectly linked to MKUltrid also.
Yeah, Torstein, maybe you can break the news.
I was going to say, but you had a meeting, and there you said something smart.
Yeah, it came to a spare proposal from you, Torstein.
Yeah, you said it was a concern about fruit being so expensive.
I heard that I got up with 15%, it was you who said, Torstein.
Yeah, but you said...
Hello, wait a minute, we don't get more fruit?
Oi, that...
Yeah, maybe not a dumb idea, also.
No, but you have to decide that fruit is going to disappear.
Dessverre.
Dessverre.
Redd frukten.

100%!
And this is why every conspiracy theory involving major events that happen in America all get tied to the Kennedy assassination.
Because the Kennedy assassination has massive public approval.
Everyone thinks the conspiracy killed JFK.
So whenever anything bad happens in America, the easiest way to demonize your enemies is to say, well, the bad people that killed Kennedy did this too.
Most people are like, well, bad people did kill Kennedy, so it's plausible they could have done this also.
And so you're able to get that ball rolling.
But what Cernovich is doing by saying activated, by bringing up the MKUltra buzzword, is he's reassuring all the conspiracy nuts that are following him and reading his stuff that they're right.
That MKUltra is real.
That there are sleepers that Governor Walz can walk over to and whisper, purple pineapple to.
And then those people run to their safe zone, obtain their firearms, and then go commit murder because they've been activated by the bad guys.
My favorite part of this is that Minnesota is like a middle population.
I know it's probably got like 11 electoral votes or whatever.
It's a thing.
I love that the Illuminati org chart is set up such that a governor of a state the size of Minnesota, that guy gets an assassin fleet.
That guy gets to like activate sleepers to kill people.
He doesn't like that seems to be a pretty, uh, generous, uh, I mean, you've got Bill Gates with his infinite money and same with George Soros.
You've got Obama and Bill Clinton who are actually like the president.
People who you would think of as being people with real power.
And they look at Tim Walls.
I mean, congrats on being a vice presidential nominee, but whatever.
And this guy runs a small, medium-sized state in America.
And I just like to think that when Tim Walls got into office, they were like, congratulations, Governor Walls.
Here's your phone you'll be using to make your official calls.
Here is some other stuff in your office you need to work on.
And by the way, here's your list of assassins that you can activate when you need to in order to take care of people that displease you.
Because you are the governor of Minnesota and is a medium state, you have, let me check all my files, seven.
You have seven assassins at your disposal for your term of office.
If you get re-elected, we may be able to get you a few more.
But otherwise, just remember that.
Remember, you only got seven.
So keep track of that.
By the way, Governor of Rhode Island, they only get two, because Rhode Island, fuck them, they're really small.
So I just really find the myth-making and fantasy creation of this world these people talk about is so interesting to me.
I remember when Q was trying to use a tweet from Michael Avenetti to indicate that he tried to whack the president.
And people were like, oh, Abinetti called in the hit.
I was like, really?
an ambulance chaser gets to kill the president now?
That seems pretty...
I mean, come on.
I mean, the Illuminati's been ruling the world for 6,000 years.
I think they got a little more of a tight rein on who's running things than just this.
But what am I to say?
Who am I to know?
So notice...
And it's going to an audience.
And the other thing that people have been trying to use is apparently the victim of this shooting, she was one of the...
It was some sort of immigration health care policy bill.
And Melissa Hortman, she voted against this bill.
And afterwards, they interviewed her and she was crying.
It was a tough bill for her to go against her party and stuff like that.
She made that decision.
Of course, these people, again, trying to sow disinformation, were all upon it saying, oh yeah, she voted to deny illegals healthcare, so Walls made the call to have her killed.
When I think of bloodthirsty cutthroats who won't take no for an answer, I think of the Democratic Party of America.
The party that was trapped by Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin for two years under Biden.
Got what they could through those two scumbags, through gritted teeth.
That political party is the political party that's like, oh yeah, vote against my bill?
Runs over to someone's house.
Purple pineapples.
We'll see how you vote against my next bill when you're dead.
I'm Tim Walz.
I'm the power-hungry, murderous lunatic that runs Minnesota.
And anyone who says no to me gets dropped.
That's what I think when I look at Tim Walls.
I'm like, just absolute sociopathic power monger.
He's a total cutthroat lunatic of a guy.
So, they're just looking for any way to try to tell you that the guy who did this is not a Republican, not a right-winger.
And now, our good boy Mike Lee.
senator from the great state of utah mike lee is uh posting uh he's posting the photos of uh of the guy him and his cop outfit with his mask on and he stated that this is what happens when uh you let uh mentally ill when you when this is what happens when Marxists don't get their way.
So yeah, just like, That was his first one.
This is what happens when Marxists don't get their way.
And then he had a second post saying a nightmare on Wall Street with the photo of the guy in the mask and then the stock photo of the shooter that's been going around.
And I've also been seeing a lot of people complaining that the shooter looks really fat in some photos and the guy in the mask and the outfit.
Doesn't look that overweight.
And they're like, yeah, I think this is the same guy.
I think they're trying to get one over on us.
And again, we only have one still photo of the guy in the cop outfit with the mask on.
And I don't know.
I mean, when they catch him, we'll see what he looks like.
When that happens, hopefully, that'll be great.
So, yeah.
This is...
Because that's how they operate.
Also, there were no Kings papers in his car.
And people were like, oh yeah, he's a protester.
Obviously he's a crazy no Kings guy.
And we don't know until we catch him.
And who knows if he's going to be willing to be taken alive.
Who knows why he had that there.
He could have had that to try to slip into a rally and maybe do some damage there.
We'll never know.
Maybe we'll get a Fred and Rose West situation here where they're both equal shitheads to some extent and the husband is gone and the wife ends up going to prison.
Who knows?
Oh, it ain't great.
No matter what it is, it's not great.
I mean, and this situation, these things are designed to keep people agitated and upset.
This guy I've never seen before named Walter.
Walter Kern, K-I-R-N.
Editor at Large, Country Highway, co-host America Week with Matt Talibi.
Oh my god.
So this guy is tied to Talibi.
That guy, he cited the Twitter files guy.
And this clown, can't wait until Matt talks about this, says...
I'm telling you now that these events, which unduly steer our discourse and our politics, are not what they seem and may not be by chance.
This isn't some hunch.
What do you mean, Walter?
What are you talking about?
Are you saying the Illuminati run our country and are secretly doing the bad things behind our backs?
I hate this sort of bullshit where you say these things and then you won't actually express what you're saying.
Because you know if you say what you're saying, you'll sound like a crank.
So you just paper over it as best you can by keeping your words as vague as this.
Being like, look, I'm not saying it, I'm just saying it.
I'm just asking questions.
That is, that's just, it's just really fundamentally dishonest.
And it's a way to try to maintain credibility while you say crazy shit.
Ja, Torstein, kanskje du kan break the news?
It was you who said, Torsten, but you said, Får vi ikke mer frukt?
Oi, det...
Nei, men da har Lise bestemt da at frukten forsvinner.
Dessverre.
Dessverre.
Redd frukten.
Bytt til oisbedrift.
Bedriftsabonnementet som gir dere mer for pengene.
I don't know.
Thank you.
It's just, this is what they want.
This is what they talk about.
Alex Jones wanted people to go up to Connecticut and investigate Sandy Hut.
He wanted people to go up to D.C. and investigate Pizza Hut.
People followed those instructions.
Luckily, no one has died yet.
Well, actually, Edgar Madison Welch, the Pizzagate investigator, died.
Yeah.
So, I mean, it just, like, this is what they want.
Deep down, this is what they all want.
And then when it happens, they know that they have to say, oh, no, I didn't really want that.
Just like Alex Jones in fucking court.
Like, these people, they're like real Nazi skinheads in a fight.
A normal person will punch someone.
Until they're down.
Once they're down, they're done.
Nazis just keep fighting the person, kicking them while they're on the fucking ground.
They sit there and they want this war.
They want to LARP as warriors, but they want everybody else to do it.
And then they can sit back and reap the rewards and claim, you know, First Amendment.
And it's just, it's the biggest problem.
It's like going to a bar with a big, tough alpha guy.
And you're the little guy and you go around picking fights.
And every time someone goes after you, you just hide behind your big friend.
Like it's a big, these people are, you know, Probably more than half of the Republicans that are in all stages of office, they're all lunatics.
They're all lunatics, and whether they believe it or not, if they're willing to say it, they're still crazy.
Yeah, that's the big problem.
The big problem is that we have a political party in America.
That is willing to engage with this kind of rhetoric and with these kinds of people in order to get their vote.
And this is getting on my soapbox, but this is the thing that really always drives me of a wall about people that tell me these two parties are the same and all this kind of shit, is no.
One party has openly, actively, and aggressively courted Conspiracy theorists for votes.
We have a deranged lunatic running America's healthcare system who is a conspiracy theorist, and he was brought into the fold because the Trump campaign was like, we need this guy's votes.
We need to bring him in because RFK Jr., if left as a third-party option on the ballot, Could fuck me out of this election.
So I need to grab him, bear hug him, and say, I don't know about vaccines.
I'm a little worried about that stuff.
And you've got the anti-vax stuff with RFK Jr.
You have the fact that Trump and Dan Scavino's social media is constantly pandering to QAnon at all times.
You have all these things happening.
And when you bring this up to people, when you talk to them, when you tell them, look, these people are nuts, and they are actively damaging the mental health of their constituents because they know that you'll keep them voting for them.
And people just look at me and be like, I'm not voting for Genocide Joe or Holocaust Harris.
Fuck them, two sides of the same coin.
And it's just, they're not.
Democrats don't pander to crazy people.
They don't work to try to make crazy people feel empowered and to benefit their craziness.
They don't deny reality.
And that's what we have right now.
Marjorie Taylor Greene's going to lie about this shit.
Fucking Mike Lee, a senator, is going to lie about this shit.
That Washington Post article is designed to lie.
It is this aggressive effort to deny the shared reality that we have in this country and the world.
And I'm going to stay on the Minnesota stuff because we're going to wrap this podcast up pretty quickly.
But when we get back together for the four-man podcast extraordinaire for this upcoming week, we get a quick spoiler.
Probably not going to be about Kryptons.
Probably not.
But the...
Just...
I saw a post by Laura Loomer who was basically saying, like, look, now that this is all happening, Iran is probably going to attack America.
And she was doing this because she wanted to let everybody know Muslims are violent and terrible and they're going to do a bad thing in America because they're subhuman savages.
And I, Laura Loomer, Militant Islamophobe and virulent Muslim hater.
Just want you all to know that that's what's going to happen because the people I hate are going to do a bad thing and you need to blame them for it when they do it.
And immediately a QAnon promoter grabbed her tweet and said, Oh yeah, the Mossad agent is telling us what's going to happen.
So guess what?
When it happens, it's going to be Israel.
And just imagine that shit.
Just imagine.
Going back to 9-11 and watching the towers fall, and immediately you have this subsection of America at each other's throats screaming, the Muslims did this, and they're saying, no, the Jews did it.
Just that's where we are.
We're just in this world where we're, I'm believing no matter what.
And I'm going to go online, and now the way social media is the way it is with TikTok's algorithm being run by the Chinese, and Twitter being run by Elon, who will just fucking let anything fly out there.
You're going to get confirmation bias no matter what.
If you want to see, what you want to see will be made reality for you.
You will get feedback that will tell you you are right.
And that's so dangerous and works so hard against a shared reality that I don't know how you fight that.
Because there's a lot of forces in America and the world that are hell-bent on denying us a shared reality.
And while they're denying the shared reality, they're also encouraging the violence that further fractures what remains of it, too.
I just saw there was a car ramming in California.
There was a ramming at Salt Lake City.
And that's just a given.
I woke up yesterday morning and I said to myself, There will be cars ramming into people because that's just what happens.
Because that's America.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's not great.
So that's where we are.
We're in the bad place.
For those of you who want to find the stuff, you can see that the Minnesota shooter is a Republican.
You can find his sermons online.
He was virulently anti-abortion.
He had a kill list.
Tim Walz was on it, so weird that Tim Walz's hired assassin was also planning on killing him.
That's what they want you to think.
Oh yeah, exactly, exactly.
Any evidence that proves he's a Democrat proves he's a Democrat.
Any evidence that proves he's a Republican was an Illuminati plot to make him look like a Republican.
That's our world.
That's our reality.
We live in.
So thank you for listening to our quick little Minnesota update post because – I thank you, Steph, for showing up to help me do that.
