	Myers withdraws Supreme Court nomination.
	President Bush on Thursday accepted the withdrawal of Supreme Court nominee Harriet Byers according to a statement from White House.
	In her letter to the President, Myers said she was concerned that the confirmation process presents a burden for the White House and its staff and it is not in the best interest of the country.
	The White House said Myers had withdrawn over concerns that Senators wanted documents of privileged discussions between the President and his top lawyer.
	It is clear that Senators would not be satisfied until they gained access to internal documents concerning advice provided during her tenure at the White House, disclosures that would undermine a President's ability to receive candidate counsel.
	So that's just a reason to duck out, folks.
	And since when does Bush, you know, withdraw something because people don't like it?
	It's because there's a firestorm over her as people learn more.
	But now we got an anti-gun Chief Justice.
	It's just like Bush 41 appointing an anti-gunner and Reagan and just all of it.

	And then we hear how good Scalia and Rehnquist and Thomas are.
	They're not good.
	I mean Scalia will vote against land grabbing but then one of the others will vote for it.

	The top aide of former Secretary of State Colin Powell claimed last week in a scathing attack on the record of President George W. Bush, Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson.
