	Hurricane Rita gathers strength.
	Hurricane Rita has gained strength as it heads across the Gulf of Mexico.
	After battering the coastline of Cuba and the southern tip of Florida, Rita is expected to hit Texas later this week and has been upgraded twice within hours to the Category 4 storm, already a Category 4 sooner than thought by forecasters, with winds exceeding 130 miles per hour.
	It could become, in the incredibly hot waters of the central gulf, a Category 5 and then
	If it hits land as a 3 or 4 or even a 2, it could be devastating.
	If it hits as a 5, unbelievable devastation.
	Tens of thousands of people are evacuating coastal towns.
	New Orleans is also on high alert as the storm could cause flooding once again in the low-lying city.
	Troops and supplies are being brought to the region to deal with the hurricane's aftermath.
	The BBC's Alistair Lighthead in Miami says state and federal authorities are planning for something as big as Hurricane Katrina, which devastated parts of Louisiana and Mississippi last month, and this time they want to be sure they are properly prepared.
	And the evacuees of Hurricane Katrina, the largest portion of being in coastal cities or near coastal cities like Houston, are now going to be moved to Austin that has already absorbed 10,000 refugees, as they were called.
	Oil companies have stepped up their evacuation of rigs in the region, and the city of Galveston in Texas has been completely evacuated.
	Several thousand Louisiana residents who found shelter in Texas after their homes were wrecked by Hurricane Katrina are being uprooted again and moved to Arkansas and Tennessee, and Austin and Dallas and San Antonio, I would add.
	And 500 buses are standing by ready to evacuate people from New Orleans whose protective levies the Army Corps of Engineers are reporting can only withstand another three inches of rain.
	We will continue to watch Hurricane Katrina throughout the broadcast and continually on this network and obviously on stations tuning into this broadcast.

	Or it could continue right on its current path in the low pressure zone that's going to suck it right in.
	Right into the area between Corpus Christi and Houston.
	Houston is above sea level, but it's still very low.
	Houston has flooded severely in the past, and masses of deaths have occurred.
	I mean, we'll have flash flooding here in Central Texas.
	A few years ago, 35 people died in two hours.
	So it's very dangerous, and there's going to be flooding all over Texas.
	Because of this.
	And so just be ready for it.
	And if you live in the coastal areas, you need to get out, and you need to get out now, unless you are in a fortified, very strong structure that can withstand 130 mile an hour winds.
	It could come ashore that strong.
	It's that strong right now.
	And it better be 10, 15 feet above on stilts.

	If I was you, I'd get out of there.

	Because these hurricanes are getting worse and worse and worse.

	Well, yeah, it's called the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act.
	And it should be called the Federalization of Local Police and Sheriff's Department Thought Crimes Division.
	Yeah, well, it could be called the Local Law Enforcement Invasion Act, because basically what it does is it breaks down all barriers to federal intervention in states' rights, law enforcement...
	This has been the main barrier to establishing a huge federal anti-hate bureaucracy like exists in Canada, is that we still have some states' rights.
	We have requirements that unless the federal government can find a jury tampering or voter fraud or hate crimes involving interstate commerce or even slavery in the state, the federal government has got the state to stay out of local law enforcement.
	And so what this bill largely boils down to is an attempt to break down all divisions between law enforcement on the federal and the local level.
	And just this week, a caller told me that he heard Franks, Barney Franks, the homosexual representative from Massachusetts.
	Well, he's more than that.

	In fact, this latest version adds transvestites and women, female impersonators for special federal protection that you and I don't have.
	And by the way, they're saying it'll be a hate crime if a woman gets upset.
	If one of these guys is in the bathroom, which we just had a big case of that in Central Texas, it's freaking these women out.
	Yeah.
	And now they're evil because they're freaked out somebody's dressed like a woman in the bathroom.
	Yeah, but they have special federal protection under this bill now.
	In fact, that's unique to this latest version was giving special protection
	Special protection rights to FBI expertise in criminology, investigative powers and so on to those who are masquerading as women and going into women's bathrooms.
	And so you can see how perverse this legislation is.

	And people like Rabbi Lappin, who may be critical of this false leadership, are now anti-Semitic.
	And number three, it says that, quote, virulent criticism, unquote, of Israel's leaders, past or present, is now anti-Semitic.

	It says if a cartoon...
	It uses the word Nazi, for example, to describe Ariel Sharon and his saturation bombing of the refugee camps in Lebanon back in 1982, in which 17,500 refugees were bombed into extinction.
	If you use the word Nazi in a cartoon about that,

	A Nazi wouldn't use the word Nazi for Sharon.
	A Nazi loves Hitler.
	I get criticized all the time for saying, Hitler isn't loving and good, because he wasn't.
	Well, this reflects the Israeli policy.
	You know, Knesset passed a law that no member of Knesset may describe verbally any actions of the Sharon government.
